The PA system said nothing of the vengeful ghost who’d wrought all that destruction—both upon the ship and its passengers. Probably everyone who could have made such an announcement was dead.

Yinyue Jun, the wraith had called him, mara-poisoned eyes shining as his gaze fell upon his features. The same features that Dan Heng was now studying in the broken mirror, fragmented by cracks running through the glass. Dan Feng. Sinner. You’ll never escape your karmic debt. It would be impossible, of course, to truly entertain these delusions. But he still likes to imagine it every now and then—particularly with you, nowadays. He thinks of it when he stares at your reflections in the mirror in the early morning, brushing your teeth side by side. He thinks of it when sees the photos that March 7th has taken of the two of you, pinned up conspicuously on your bedroom walls. He especially thinks of it when he catches himself looking at the selfies that you always insist on taking with him—which is very often, given how you like to snatch his phone and update his lockscreen with them.

To the uninformed eye, all of these scenes make the two of you look like a simple, human couple—one right out of a novel.

Dan Heng thinks about this most often: a normal life with you, in which he is not burdened with the title of Yinyue Jun. In which there is no chance of staining your future with the transgressions of his past. In which you’ve never once been hurt because of his relation to Dan Feng, and where you will never be hurt again.

If paradise is but a dream, he thinks, gazing at the contours of your soft expression, then I wish to sleep forever.

How to identify that someone's account is shadowbanned

Okay so, basically? Tumblr is being a real mess with this, but you can help the artists that got nightmare'd like that! Shadowbanning on Tumblr is a very annoying thing that makes your posts not appear in search and recommendations, makes you unable to use DMs (and people can't send you asks the last time I checked, either?), doesn't show your notes to other people etc.

The easiest giveaway is if the person does not have you blocked, but when you hover over their icon, the blog doesn't display any posts:

Usually when you check their blog, you can see there is no ask or DMs option available, and for further evidence you could check the posts that you know they liked/reblogged. If it doesn't show their notification, it usually further proves they've been shadowbanned (rarer it means they were blocked by OP since they liked/reblogged this post, so this is a bit more vague). Another good evidence is if their post is not showing in Tumblr's search tags - especially if you clearly remember you did see it in the tags previously!

If you reblog the post from a person that got shadowbanned - it will still show up on the dashboard and in blogs, but shadowbanning still seriously robs artists from exposure (and from potential new customers if they sell stuff). My incentive to check whether artist got shadowbanned is usually when there are too little notes considering the quality.. Works almost always + proves my point.

How to help?

If they have left other means to contact them (email, patreon/boosty, twitter, insta, etc) - message them there, explaining the issue! I usually link a good post about Shadowbanning from @that-damn-girl that explains in details what it does and what to do ( x ), TLDR; they need to message Tumblr staff about the issue via in-site function. Explain that their posts do not show up anywhere, they can't use asks and DMs have disappeared, all that. Usually within one week staff explains it was a glitch and apologise, and they can see the difference when DMs are back, posts show up in tags, their notes are visible etc. Sometimes staff might forget to get back upon too many requests, so sending other ticket is also an option.

Some blogs won't have any means to contact them available, so in these cases I have to "get creative" usually. For example, explain them that Tumblr fucked them up in the comments under some post (track this post regularly because, again, their response will not show up in your notes). Or maybe bother their mutual that I have a reason to think has their Discord or other contacts and could pass the message to them. Usually there are SOME ways to inform the person!

Basically - train to identify and undo this shit! It is somewhat easy to spot when you know what signs you're looking for. I have seen SO many artists, especially ones not speaking English native or who migrated from Twitter to have no idea what is going on, and their followers don't know what shadowbanning is either!

P.S. There is also a rare possible issue (that I have had a misfortune to encounter when I was trying to unban my blog) where they consistently ignore messages from affiliated email. If you feel like that's the case and you have been banned for too long, despite repeatedly sending tickets, try to use another email and explain why you did so. The possibility is very unlikely but as someone who had to deal with this, I just thought it is worth mentioning. Hopefully I was the only "lucky" one like that haha.

sorry if i get any of the details wrong, if I'm misremembering things, it's because it's been like 5 months since i watched the last of ch2.

random thought that came to me suddenly: is it possible that the note that was supposedly used to lure Arei into the playground was forged after the murder took place?(In other words, its purpose wasn't to lure Arei out, but to misdirect the trial) While I still think the murder took place in the playground(there aren't really many places to hang a person such the drop would be enough to end a life, even with extra weight added from the fish and the water-filled jugs) it's possible the confrontation in which Arei's wrists were bound occurred somewhere else (Likely the relaxation room, given how relevant its been to the case). Unlikely, considering there were no witnesses, but not totally impossible; the rooms are next to each other after all. But this does eliminate everyone's alibi, and the need for the killer to have overheard Eden and Arturo's confrontation- if the killer had managed to get the info out of Arei before she ... expired(i hate tumbIr's shadowbanning) then that eliminates the seeming contradiction of the killer somehow knowing Arturo's secret through overhearing Eden and Arturo's squabble before Arei showed up(how would you miss someone standing right next to the infirmary door)-- they never learned it through that in the first place. This would also line up with Charles' contradiction of the time; the d3ath/meetup never occurred at 7:30 in the first place. It was spontaneous-- which might sound odd, given that you'd borderline need superhuman levels of intuition to know to bring the tape from the gym and the rope because of the contraption the killer would need to use to attach the weighted jugs to the end of the rope to snap Arei's neck, but if the crime took place after say, witching hour, the killer has all the time they need to set up such an elaborate contraption after knocking Arei out.

If we assume that the time is wrong, it could also mean that the crime took place before 7:30, but I think that is. Less likely than it taking place after 7:30. The killer needs to set up way too much sh1t for a spontaneous confrontation.

There's also the fact that the morning after Nico's attempt on Ace's life, Rose mentions that the sticky tape is missing from the gym. This clearly points to Eden as the suspect, but Levi was also with Ace, Eden, and Teruko when Ace was having his fit. We don't know where exactly he went afterwards.

Lastly, there's the fact that his alibi at the "given time" was "doing laundry." This sounds pretty innocuous, but it gives him an excuse to be wet if anyone witnessed him.

Actually but not lastly, there's also the big elephant in the room. The secrets. While I do believe that it's... possible for someone else to have the murderer secret besides Levi, I don't think so. For one thing, I think that the "survivor's guilt" secret doesn't fit anyone else besides Xander, and that's due to careful wording. The secret specifically mentions parents and siblings. Siblings, as in plural. Teruko only knows about her older brother, and in episode 1, Levi only mentions having a mother. We know Min's parents were alive at least before she was admitted to Hope's Peak, so that leaves just Hu and Veronika, whom I believe swapped secrets. So that just leaves Xander for that secret.

I'm ngl, I actually really don't think we have enough evidence to be totally conclusive. But I truly believe that from a thematic perspective, it makes more sense for Levi to be the killer than Eden or Hu. (The clown noises play in the background). Levi's character development seems to have stalled, while I think the dev is building up more for Eden and Hu in terms of their relationships with others.

After seven months of waiting for the perfect chance to try your escape plan, it was finally time. You hadn't planned on staying this long, but Zhongli had been careful.

First drugging you up and doing his best to influence you during it. Then he lengthened the chain, but kept it on you still, even as you stayed compliant without the drug fogging up your mind.

To gain that last bit of trust, you acted like any good spouse would. You cooked for him, welcomed him home with the biggest smile and a kiss to his cheek. You'd snuggle up to him durings hug despite the shivers threatening to shake your body.

And he accepted it all, taking all the fake love you offered.

Six months in, he took off the chain.

He still left during the day, but came back around noon more often than not. You were sure it was because he watched the house, waiting for you to make a mistake.

Now it was time. He'd warned you that Hu Tao wanted him in Qingxe Village to help her on a job. It would probably take him until the next day to return back to you.

You smiled and nodded. The kiss you placed on his cheek this time around was genuine, your happiness almost too obvious. Following him to the door, you wished him a safe return, promising to make him his favorite meal once he's back.

Two hours later you had packed a bag with clothes and a bit of food and were ready to go.

Your heart beat fast in your chest and you gulped as you stared at the door, shaking hand reaching out to it.

A smile lit up your face. A genuine one, unlike those you gave Zhongli to appease him.

You stepped out into the sunlight.

And froze.

Zhongli was leaning against the tree by the entrance, arms crossed and a dark look in his eyes.

"I must say, I'm surprised. You really waited a lot longer than I thought you would."

The Geo Lord came towards you, eyes ablaze. "But did you really think you could play me?"

You tried to dash past him, throwing your bag at him. The man ducked to the side and easily caught up with you. One arm wrapped tight around your waist, the other hand grabbed your throat, applying the least bit of pressure. His hot chest pressed against your back.

"Let's make a deal, love."

It was impossible not to grow dependent on Xiao, without being able to move your legs it was hard for you to traverse around "your" humble home. Sometimes your arms would even be to weak to bring yourself to the bathroom, forcing you to call his name to save yourself from humiliation.

Everyday you grew more and more desperate for an escape. When he was away you would crawl yourself over to any doors and windows in the house, only to find them all locked and out of reach. He knows you can't stand up, he relies on that fact.

You tried to formulate a plan in your head to escape this hell hole, to find someone to help you get better. But Xiao's schedule was unpredictable, anyone can be in danger anytime causing him to be gone. Some day's there will be nothing and he will choose to spend it with you.

At times, he's been tempted to ignore the calls for help, his arms wrapped around you as he basked in your presence, nothing was more important than you. But You reminded him of his promise to protect the people and made him uphold it despite his reluctance to leave.

The look you gave him when he hesitated to answer those in need, haunted him.

You peacefully soaked in these moments away from him, it was a breather from his suffocating presence, always needing to be holding onto you.

In these times you learned how to make your way around the house despite the handicap. Xiao did not offer you a wheelchair, insistent on keeping you in one room, but you could gather your strength to unlock your bedroom door. Pulling your body up and unlatching the lock, pulling it open and crawling your way through.

You had to slowly build up your upper strength throughout the months, doing a routine of pulling yourself up windows and doors to help yourself get used to pulling your entire body with ease while he was gone. You did whatever you could around the house that he wouldn't notice.

Tonight, as Xiao said goodbye to you, giving your knuckles a kiss and stealing one last glance before disappearing, you wasted no time in getting out of your bed before heading towards your door.

As you unlocked it, you hurriedly made your way towards the front door, your heart racing against your chest from the adrenaline rush. The latch was up so high on the door, the door lock was no bother but as you looked up at the latch a few inches above from the knob, you almost dropped.

Could you really do this? You're already so tired from rushing your way over here, your body aching and the muscles in your arm throbbed from the pain. Even with months of building yourself up to do this, it seemed as if your body could still not handle it.

You gave a cry before you could second guess yourself any longer, reaching your hands up, you grabbed onto the doorknob and pulled yourself up slightly. You tried to keep the knob as still as possible to keep yourself stable but your hands suddenly slipped to the side with the knob making you stumble onto the door.

Closing your eyes you winced at the pain in your upper body before realizing you were somewhat standing up, your body heavily relying on the support of the wooden door. You pulled one hand away from the knob and rushed to unlatch the door, knowing you would not last long being up like this.

The door swung open as you pulled it, not caring that it knocked you back as you quickly made your way out of the house. The feeling of wind brushing against your skin and breathing fresh air made you tear up, it's been so long since you've seen the moon shine.

Your happiness was destroyed when you realized you had no idea where you were, where Xiao had taken you. Panic quickly crept into you as you looked around for any familiar signs, but nothing appeared the land seemed forsaken and bare.

You were in the middle of nowhere.

Despite this new realization, you gathered up your courage to stumble down onto the grass and crawl over to the forest next to you. Normally you would be scared to enter such a dark forest but now nothing would be more threatening to you than Xiao.

Dirt clung to your clothes as you made your way, your arms screaming in protest, the burning pain letting you know you're pushing yourself past your bodily limit.

No matter how much mental strength you had to leave this place, your body screamed at you to stop. Every pull forward hurt more than the last, the tears that burned your eyes now fell onto the dry grass. Hisses and groans escaped your throat as you tried to push through the pain, your body easily becoming bruised from the rocks and sticks below you.

You didn't even make it to the tree before you heard a branch snap behind you.

"You...what are you doing..?"

His voice made your heart drop, a pit growing in your stomach as your mind raced. How was he here? Didn't he just leave?! You didn't take that long to get out here!

"Your grace..are you..trying to leave me?"

His voice broke, he sounded almost pitiful. If only you didn't know how much of a monster he was.

A thin line between rage and despair was snapped as he witnessed you try to crawl away from him. Xiao quickly grabbed your collar before lifting you into his arms, his grip tights and suffocating like always.

"Let go of me! You don't need to do this!!" You tried to plead.

The adeptus only ignored you as he shoved you back inside with him and slid down to the floor, you still in his arms. No matter how hard you tried to fight back, weakly punching him and slapping anywhere you can reach. Your exhausted body slowly gave into him.

"I need you, I need you. How come you tried to leave me when I need you?" He repeated as his grip grew even stronger making you choke.

"I'll have to make sure you can't try to leave me ever again"

His hand reached out to your wrists, grabbing them both in one as a black aura surrounded his arm.

"Can't you understand? I need you"

A snap was heard as you screamed.

State of Roo Gaming conglomopost:

Alchemy Stars (summer event):

120 pulls no Fleur. I has sad. Got trolled by two 6* in the same element even.  Outlook bleak. This is gacha life. Game took a look at my A3 water team and said I didn’t need him. Game doesn’t understand thirst. : ( I need him.

That said, I am here for the energy of Fleur and Brock as Those Two Guys, even more so as Those Two Guys Who Absolutely Should Not Be Left Alone Unsupervised.

Summer story’s pretty interesting, though I did get bored with a lot of the beach-life stuff as I do in every gacha that does summer events sans GBF.  I don’t particularly feel anything toward Beryl, unlike Eve; she’s very passive so we haven’t seen any of her personal thoughts or feelings about much.  Hell, half the reason I’m so salty about Fleur is cause he actually got more development than Beryl did so far, which made me like him more than just a pretty face!

Humor beats are still pretty spot on though. And at least this game really knows how to make events feel like events.

3 more days and I’ll be done with Stage 4 for Regal, THANK GOD. The dispatches are such an annoying time-gate. I have a ton of energy packs saved up so I should be able to clear out Stage 5 much more quickly. Looking forward to getting my first Eternal Silent Hunter!

I ran out of characters I feel like A3ing so now I’m just grinding to level up equipment.

I don’t know if I should get Barton (who I do not have) or Nemesis (who I need one more copy of to max breakthrough and thus have her skill set to pre-emptive) from the free ticket they give. This is one of the few times where both would technically be dick picks, but one would be useful for meta (Nemesis is one of my core Thunder units) while the other I don’t have but would like to. DECISIONS!  At least the ticket doesn’t expire. i’ll end up forgetting about it most likely

GBF (lotto drama):

Man that lotto drama whaoooo.  I’m mostly retired/seasonal in GBF these days (and my loss of reliable/fast internet in a week will just compound that due to ping/racing/refresh) so I don’t really care, but just whao.

That said, I think with this being people’s last straw shows that some people really don’t know how to give things up on their own and don’t realize it’s okay to fall out of love with something you once enjoyed or spent a lot of time/effort/money in.  I saw a lot of complaints about X or Y no longer having magic/fun etc for them any more, and they still stick around cause they keep hoping that it’ll come back, and I can tell you—it rarely ever does if you stick around.  It’s okay to move on. That sunk-cost fallacy just does harm until only bitter feelings are left.

As for me, I did come out with a T3. Picked Nehan cause I always go dick picks in gacha and I was clamoring for a Nehan unit back during SoR’s original run. Used the second one to go meta with G.Narm though since there was nothing left for me to really get, but I dislike Narmaya so she can just sit there in my inventory with all her other versions CAUSE SHE WON’T LEAVE ME ALONE I guess.

Did literally nothing else though; just no real time to play grindblue lately.

Exos Heroes (director’s notes):

Hahaha, the devs noted they were nervous about how people would react to the first Memorial Saga and I BET IT WAS DUE TO THE TWIST LOL but anyone who has used Rachel or came from Exos Saga weren’t gonna be shocked. Regardless, the translation referred to the story as from “Ramge and Rachel’s youth” and I laughed cause IT TOOK PLACE A WEEK BEFORE THE MAIN GAME’S STORY????

Hope the 2nd MS ends up actually giving rewards for side quests.

Thank god though that they are going to implement a give up section for tag battles. I no longer have to set up [my absolute most hated character in this game] as a sacrificial character any more and can set up some more proper teams.

Infinity Core is still shit but at least now they will be showing what you’ll be facing the entire week instead of day-by-day reveals. Half of the issue is playing a guessing game on what FCs you need to hoard in case their theme comes up and thus purposely limit yourself from actually achieving higher stages.  Still wish they’d just allow you to keep the stage you’re on if you already cleared it in a previous week. Why the hell do I have to redo the stage(s) every week if I already passed it? At least quick battle will be implemented to a limited degree.

Glad they acknowledged the biggest problem in the game: inability for new players to catch up.  The gap between vets and newer players never ever narrows due to all the time-gating elements this game has.  I’ve been around the block in a lot of games and the ones who have this gap never has good player retention and ends up shrinking just to a core base of cliques until the game dies. Too bad no solutions offered.

I was disappointed Blue Kaya doesn’t buff HP for support units, then remembered HP is the biggest problem in PVP so yeah, no, nevermind, good on them for realizing that. Didn’t roll for her since I went ham on the summer banners and defense scales poorly in this game due to the HP inflation.

... oh man, I got momentarily excited when I saw Saint West was getting SF3. Then remembered Rachel, while from Saint West, is the heir to Saint West’s throne, and is basically labeled as Saint West in everything else in the game, is actually the general for Lenombe. Fuck me. When will they buff him. I’m tired of facing SF3 nations and seeing my nation’s gimmick being told to pound sand cause they refuse to buff his nation even though he’s fallen way off the meta a long time ago. i think i will literally blow a fuse if greenland gets sf3 before lenombe

In non director’s notes news, I linked up Shadowbane to Lenombe. Luna and Garlond are pretty fun to use and I hope to eventually slap them onto my WR team for tag week to see how that works out, but they worked really well in Infinity Core. Glad I finally have a viable Frost unit I can use since who is Bathory? She doesn’t know me.

Dunno who I’d put in Rudley’s spot since I use him so that my Lenombe team has at least more than one chance to kill these tanky SF3 nations. Zeon is just useless now due to the prevalence of Misty and I tried out Misty and she’s okay, but she’s not the best synergy with Lenombe. I wish A.Zeon would get his FC already so I can pair him with Schmid to get the Vagabond SF bonuses... (but I’m thinking the outcry against the genderbends pushed that back RIP...)

youtube is shadow banning creators. they have threatened them (literally, youtube has told them ‘i can kill your channel’ to gabbie hanna.), they gaslight them, its all just horrible.

its happening to so many creators, but recently, gabbie hanna has been the one to speak out about it. and i know. i know she has such a bad reputation, but i can promise you that if you think any of the rumors about her are true, dm me. i can literally educate you in a respectful way because everything that has torn gabbie hanna down is NOT TRUE. its sent her into a su*c*dal spiral TWICE NOW. she told youtube she was in her darkest place ever because of the harassment and hate against her, and youtube told her there was nothing they could do, despite the videos that were causing her this pain were AGAINST YOUTUBES CREATOR ON CREATOR ATTACK GUIDELINES.

THREE SEPERATE TIMES THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN UNLIKED FROM MY ACCOUNT, AND I CAN SEND VIDEO PROOF IF YOU WOULD LIKE IT. IT HAPPENED LITERALLY IN FRONT OF MY EYES. 

YOUTUBE IS HOLDING HER LIKES, HER VIEWS, AND HER COMMENTS.

DURING HER LIVESTREAM TALKING ABOUT EVERYTHING, THE STREAM RANDOMLY ENDED. GABBIE DIDNT END IT. she logged out of the device she was streaming on, and even started a new stream on the SAME DEVICE, SAME ACCOUNT, AND THE STREAM WHERE SHE EXPOSED EVERYTHING SAID IT WAS STILL LIVE.

THIS IS LITERALLY NOT POSSIBLE. YOU CANT STREAM TWO STREAMS FRM THE SAME DEVICE ON THE SAME ACCOUNT.

it was preventing gabbie from uploading the stream as a video for THREE HOURS, and when the video went up, youtube turned her comments off THREE TIMES.

during every single live stream gabbie did talking about her shadowban on youtube, youtube was DELETING COMMENTS FROM THE LIVE CHAT.

the last time gabbie trended was  Nov 16, 2019, and they didnt trend her again until she uploaded a video, and in it she talked about youtube shadowbanning her from the trending page. after this, gabbie uploaded her music video special, and youtube was doing the same shit as before, except harder. they trended special. 

this is called gaslighting. its making people think “hey, they are trending her, shes dumb” or “look! they unshadowbanned her!” but they didnt. its GAS LIGHTING. ITS TO MAKE YOU THINK THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM, BUT GABBIE HASNT EVEN HAS A MEETING WITH THEM YET, WHICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD.

SHE EXPLAINED IT AS KNOWING YOUR BOYFRIEND IS CHEATING, AND FINALLY, SOME GIRL HAS CALLED HER AND TOLD HER HER BOYFRIEND IS INFACT, CHEATING. ITS BECAUSE SHE KNOWS SHE ISNT CRAZY. SHE WASNT JUST IMAGINING THIS, AND PEOPLE DONT HATE HER.

THE GASLIGHTING WORKED AND IT SENT GABBIE HANNA INTO A BOUT OF FEELING SU*C*DAL, AND YOUTUBE KNEW THIS, AND CONTINUED TO DO IT.

WHY IS THIS OKAY? WHY ARENT WE GOD DAMN PISSED ABOUT THIS?

ALL GABBIE HAS DONE RECENTLY IS SUPPORT BLACK LIVES MATTER, AND SPEAK ABOUT WHAT WHITE PRIVILEGE IS, AND HOW ITS FUCKING REAL BECAUSE SHE HAS THAT PLATFORM.
