This is such a random issue, but morning crew is a dynamic not just the people who wake up “early” for qsmp. It’s a group of people (Tubbo, Pac, and Fit) who hang out constantly, and have a more familial love for each other. Mike and Phil just aren’t part of morning crew, (in mikes case this is a very much a yet) phil just isn’t part of that dynamic, and Mike wasn’t well awake. Mike, Fit, and Pac are a different group (hideandseektrio) that’s probably going to end up merging with current morning crew. Once Pac comes back and all 4 start hanging out together, it’ll really be a test of their dynamic together. Mike already has a familial bound with Pac and Fit in the same vein but Tubbo just isn’t Mike’s family yet, and Mike just isn’t Tubbo’s. Hopefully soon though, im sure it’ll be easy to flow into.

Ive actually been trying so hard at trying to figure out why people think qphil doesn’t care about qtubbo, and I mean specifically care nothing else. Cause you can argue tubbo’s not one of his most important people that’s fair, but also you don’t have to be at the top of a list for them to care. It’d also be really hard to argue that he doesn’t trust tubbo, and in that same vein not respect him at all. Their relationship is very complicated, and it is true that it’s way more onesided than people like to admit, but it’s not like Phil has just shown Tubbo zero attention or love. My best guess so far from all I’ve seen it’s because Phil fundamentally doesn’t understand who Tubbo is as a person, and has this very shallow view of him. So people have taken Phil’s mischaracterization of Tubbo as a sign that he doesn’t actually care for the real Tubbo? Idk I like to figure out how fandoms think… (oh also if you have your own ideas why just like tell me I’d love to know)

had an angsty idea :D

imagine eventually, as thr adrenaline calms down, the three teams realise they really need to just talk some stuff out and figure out wherr they all stand. so before EVERYONE gets together to talk (risking chaos cuz ppl arent on the same page), they decide that the three team leaders meet first, figure out some ground rules and touch base, before arranging when everyone can meet.

so imagine q!phil waiting at the meeting place, and q!etoiles eventually joining him, joking around as normal, but standing a bit away to seem intimidating (its a joke) so q!phil's guard is down and he's just chilling. and eventually, q!tubbo shows up, tired and dirty but trudging along. and immediately q!phil notices the distance at which he's standing from both of them. much further than he woukd've expected.

q!phil making a joke like "dont worry toby you can come closer, etoiles promised to play nice." and he sees q!tubbo slowly move. except not closer to him, but closer to q!etoiles, still keeping his distance, but now further from q!phil.

q!phil once again laughs, a weird feeling in his stomach. "what, you don't trust me mate?" he tries joking, but q!tubbo's silence tells him enough. he doesn't trust him.

only a couple days in purgatory, and q!tubbo no longer trusts one of the only people he ever did. and there's no telling whether its permanent or not.

both q!fit and q!tubbo keep explaining away q!phil's absence in ways that dismiss any possible alarm, tubbo with meta (phil playing hardcore) and q!fit thinks he's on a vacation again and keeps calling him lazy,, i knew q!phil was going to have to escape on his own regardless of if anyone noticed his absence or not because there's no way for anyone to even guess where he is, but now he'll be escaping alone only to come back to no one worried about him and calling him lazy for being away for so long
