this is absolutely not professional advice but there's something about trust and handling and cooperative care that just boils down to whether your dog knows you have their best interest in mind. it's not just trusting your bond or them being calm or whatever, it's about experience. the time your dog gets a bone or a stick or a pez dispenser stuck between their teeth ideally shouldn't be the first time you poke your fingers in their mouth and they shouldn't be running away from you thinking you're trying to take it from them. there's something about your dog knowing not to freak out because parts of this experience is not new to them, and it's going to be fine.

Her posture was loose and comfortable, but her expression did not relax an iota, lips drawn tight. Bryce imagined she was attempting to look down on him, but he felt more like a boy peeking up at a lady’s balcony from the garden. He’d never seen her with her hair down. Being so closed-off and cold was not at all what he’d been expecting from a raider, but she ran a tight ship. A little too tight. Mistakes were punished by her hand with a swiftness and severity that made him uneasy, but her sailors seemed to expect it.

Oh, all deep sea fishes unlucky to be thrown above absolutely imploded with inverted organs, they couldn't orient fast to release the gas inside their air bladder Deep-sea divers specially lift fish slowly so that their blood wouldn't boil and all the gas would come out But Rung always had in canon some more hidden pockets within him, so I imagined that he had extra bladders that immediately reacted on the changed pressure and was compensating the ones that he couldn't change quickly, plus he might not have fastest reflexes but he knows what to do so he started adapting the moment flooding started getting him up. Other deep sea creatures are either not sentient or not even mers, they were caught off guard

But he still starts feeling worse and worse each day due to blood boiling and gas not getting out fully from sudden change pressure once his body starts understanding what happened, so that Nightbeat and Nautica would need to get him back in the deep, which is impossible because of all the new monsters and the fact that Rung's swimming abilities are weak, or they would need to find a medic who knows deep sea mermaids' anatomy and could operate him to help

I am bit overwhelmed with how well received Silent Hillz Au is. This is not a bad thing..I’m actually really excited to share this project with all of you! I just…kinda didn’t expect it to blow up so quickly. It’s..scary…I do NOT want a pre-mature fandom. Seeing what happened to welcome home and Yolkelore scares me. You guys need to be respectful of each other and understand what’s being written. It’s all I ask. This one thing. I do not want to get overwhelmed in a negative way, I’d rather be overwhelmed in the way I am now..knowing people care about what I do..I don’t want to go into detail, but I struggle with this..sharing anything I do..it means a lot to me you care about this as much as I do. Hopefully we will begin cooking soon. I am currently writing Chapters One and Two.✨
