I made the amazing Butterfly series by Moreta1848 into a book!
A6 size, cream white paper, body font is Coelacanth and title font is Empherian. The butterfly motif is my own design.

#i have many annoyances and gripes with everything being QR codes#because you can't make assessments based on the url#making it very easy to trick someone into downloading viruses and shit#but also my phone physically can't scan them#it doesn't have that feature on the camera app#and I'm not fucking downloading a QR scanner that I'll almost never use#I got this QR code in an email too#it is so much easier to just send me the link please#a link is one click a QR code involves me getting my phone

When I was creating a program for our charity event I did include a qr code on the front to link you to our donation page because this was a printed piece of paper BUT I INCLUDED THE TYPED URL BELOW IT SO YOU COULD ALSO SEARCH IT
#Like obviously you couldn’t click this link it was a piece of paper a qr code is perfect for this#But I’ve struggled with qr readers before not detecting it or having shaky hands and not being able to focus#So you could also manually type the url into your browser

Using QR codes to link things in circumstances where it would be inconvenient to laboriously type in a url by hand are all well and good, practical, I see it. But now I get emails like "Here's our event! Scan the qr code to register!" with a jpeg of a flyer and no url in the email or on the image. Oh you want me to...hold up my phone to a computer screen to scan a jpeg email attachment to get to a website? Instead of you just linking it to me, in the email you have already sent me, that I am already looking at on my computer? That's what you want me to do? Are you sure?
