They had a day in between shows and the pair decide to spend it exploring the small town they're currently in. Only Copia hadn't expected it to be so cold. Before they went out he's practically begged the ghoulette to grab an extra layer. Just for safety, he'd reassured. She'd obviously not listened.

"I'm fine!" Her cheery voice carries on a particularly harsh gust of cold air.

Air ghouls are different. He knows this. It doesn't stop him from worrying though. The last thing he wants is for one of his partners to fall ill. Especially during tour. Sister Imperator would never let him live it down.

Copia's about to say something when Cumulus jumps to attention, pointing at a small stand not far from them. "Oh look. They have hot chocolate!" She latches onto his arm. "Can we get some? Please?" Her fangs poke out as she grins.

He nods. Honestly it makes him feel better. At least he can be sure she's a little warm.

Copia orders two hot chocolates, usinging the ministry's credit card to pay for it. While also enduring Cumulus's fingers poking into his ribs, reminding him to ask for extra marshmallows.

After receiving their drinks, the pair continue onward to explore. There's some neat artwork throughout the streets but that's hard for Copia to focus on. Especially when he keeps stealing glances at Cumulus. Her cheeks are a bright rosy red. A combination of the cold and the hot chocolate.

"What?" She looks at him quizzically.

"Nothing!" He's too quick to answer, and he knows it. "You sure you're not --"

"No I'm fine!" She holds her drink up as if to emphasize.

Copia chews his lip. It's only why Cumulus has her attention elsewhere that he leans down and plants a kiss on her cheek, his black lipstick leaving a mark.

She stares up at him with doe eyes. "What's that for?"

"For being here. With me."

Cumulus grins and entwines their arms together as they continue onward.

this is an example of how mullen lowe have used humour and copywriting to create ungendered advertisements for cif cleaning products. they have used the strpline "hello beautiful" below the comedic imagery of distorted facial reflections in bathroom scenarios. this is challenging the classic stereotype of women advertising cleaning products through usinging gender neutral colour scheme which also emphasises the idea of cleanliness and links to sterility. additionally rhe faces being distorted seem to be men, suggesting it is the men doing the bathroom cleaning. the strap line "hello beautiful' initially connotes the idea that the bathroom is beautifully lean, but also the people are looking at themselves in the reflection, suggesting the bathroom is so clean they can admire their own reflection even though they look silly and distorted, challenging the traditional ideas of beauty.

how to challenge the lineage of creative work while confronting female stereotypes:

flip stereotypes on their head

look beyond gender- look more deeply into the item you are advertising

rework 'negatives' into positive affirmations- 'run like a girl' for example is disempowering for a woman, but when put in a context where you an redefine 'girl' to appear strong and resilient changes the whole meaning of the phrase

be creative with products directly, dont just campaign around them. example: whopper burger king with pride campaign wrapped in rainbow colours and people questioning what is different, but actually saying 'we are all the same inside' because nothing is different about the burger.

this has opened my eyes as to what can be done about gender stereotyping in design and how it can be made more inclusive and we and re-empower through association.

One thing i have noticed is that so much of these campaigns are being based around women, which is incredible, but i think maybe male stereotypes are beginning to be massively overlooked, and i might want to find some examples of how we can portray men in a better light also and work on reducing harmful stereotypes that men face.

I think my real first introduction to Kobolds was actually the mural art at the Usinger's Sausage Shop in downtown. I always viewed them as 'The Keebler Elves that worked in the animal husbandry instead of baking'. I guess I'm more used to the folkloric version when it comes to Kobolds where they could be farmers, miners, or humorously, salty sea captains. One of the traits that I did recently learn was that Kobolds had these cute hats that could hold a candle at the tip.

What's your stance on Kobolds as lizard-things vs Kobolds as dog-things.

I like every incarnation of them, and D&D's combo version of those two is also fun. But even though I was definitely more exposed to Fantasy Gaming Kobolds, I still primarily think of them as spooky subterranean elf things, and I just realized my mental image of them is specific enough I had to have seen it somewhere, but I can't remember where. The word "Kobold" conjures exactly this in my head:

I feel like I can remember black and white artwork of this little guy, the beak nose and shiny eyeballs and everything, but that maybe it wasn't a kobold in the original context. It might be several other creatures, maybe even from other early Dungeons and Dragons books, that merged together in my memory.

These examples of Victorian architecture were once the private residences of leading Milwaukee citizens on Highland blvd. between N. 29th and N. 30th sts. The house third from left was built in 1892 for malt tycoon Aldoph Zinn. It featured a round turret, tudor style gable, huge stone chimneys which served the 10 fireplaces that heated the house, and porte cochere or covered carriage entrance. Zinn built the limestone mansion a few years before his malting company, later known as Milwaukee Malt and Grain Co., became the largest in the country. The Zinn home was between that of H. J. Kieckhefer, president of Enterprise Box and Lumber Co., at right, and Charles Manegold, jr., president of Manegold Milling Co., and in the same neighborhood as the Gustav Pabsts, the Frederick Millers, and the Frederick Usingers. When the neighborhood's days of glory passed, the Zinn home was chopped up into a 25 unit rooming house and later razed, as were others in the area to make way for an apartment building. モーションコントロールなタイムラプスデバイスをいくつか試してきまし��が、特にスライダーは機材が長く重いため撮影に持ち出すのを躊躇し、使用頻度が極端に下がってしまいます。 固定撮影後に編集で疑似的な動きをつけても、実際にスライダーを使用した映像の奥行き感、立体感とは別物にしかならないので、スライダーが生かせるロケーションであればできるだけ使用したいところです。 edelkroneのSliderONEのことは以前から知っていましたが、長く重いというスライダーの欠点を排除しているものの、カメラの移動距離がわずか20cmと短く、これが実用的と思えず購入を見送っていました。 しかし、実際試してみると、撮影時に前景との距離感に気を付ける必要はありますが、予想以上にいい感じに撮れます。軽いと言っても1kgは越えるのですが、これなら持ち出すことに躊躇しません。 ちなみに、動画の最後のほうに出てくる天の川は、自宅の裏で撮影したものです。山の中なのでこれくらいは撮れます。

I've tried several motion-controlled time-lapse devices, but sliders in particular are long and heavy, so I hesitate to take them out for shooting, and the frequency of use is extremely low. Even if you add pseudo movement in editing after fixed shooting, it will only give you a different sense of depth and three-dimensionality from the actual image using sliders, so if it is a location where sliders can be used, I would like to use them as much as possible. I've known about edelkrone's SliderONE for a long time, but although it eliminates the drawback of the long and heavy slider, the camera travel distance is only 20cm, so I didn't think it was practical, so I put off buying it. However, when I actually tried it, it turned out to be better than I expected, although I had to be careful about the distance from the foreground when shooting. Even though it is light, it weighs more than 1kg, but I will not hesitate to take it with me. By the way, the Milky Way at the end of the video was taken behind my house. The street lights are a little in the way, but it's in the mountains, so you can take this much.

rendogs recent video reaallyyy hit home for me tbh. and honestly helping me put things in perspective. i guess the way i describe it is i went through a really fucking big wave. humongous fucking wave and finally hit the shore and just layed in the sand and. part of me figured that that was it. the final big wave was finally conquered. but when the next wave came in i was caught off guard even though it was pretty small. for a while i just kept thinking "shouldnt i be done with this ? i did it i conquered the big one" but like i really think that ren video helped put it in perspective i guess. ive always really liked usinging analogies like that to describe my emotions and thought processes. and i think im ready to charge that next wave head first.
