"What are you doing?" the man across me asks. When my line of sight is not so blurry, I blink twice and run towards him.

I look up at him, blowing back the dark streaks of my hair, reaching out to brush back his light ones with a grin, "dancing!"

I close my eyes, sighing as I feel the combing of my hair.

And I think the cat kissing a fish cartoon on her stories is meant to be her kissing a pisces.

To be honest he’s probably just a rebound, the fact that V is being so vocal about him this early when she’s known for not liking to share about relationships sounds like she still cares what jack thinks or what people think about her and jack and is trying to prove something like that she’s moved on or he wasn’t special or provoke a reaction from him or something. Seeing that jack is liking tweets about them again I wouldn’t be surprised if V is messaging him privately bragging about finding someone else or at least dropping hints 🙈 Plus she only just stopped wearing jacks seashell necklace every day like 2 weeks ago.

I don’t understand them editing out JK’s tats because of a few things. First off they had no problem giving V a fake face and neck tattoo for ON. Secondly, I have seen many other kpop videos where the idols either have fake tattoos or real tattoos. Off the top of my head: Ten from NCT/WayV has a real one on his chest that was shown in clear view in Bad Alive, Lucas from NCT/WayV has a real one that was shown in Turn Back Time, Minhyuk from Monsta X has been shown to have one on his leg, and I.M from Monsta X has a few and you even clearly see his wrist tattoo in Shoot Out and a few other music videos.

And like I get all those examples are different companies, but I have a hard time believing that BigHit is editing them out because South Koreans don’t like tattoos when plenty of other kpop idols have real ones that get shown or BigHit has no problems putting fake ones on other members.

some of these promotional photos are used as a teaser for tv shows thats why they edit out it. fake tattoos are different in their view. idols have always used fake tattoos on tv. i dont know all the reasons and i dont know anything about other kpop groups. i havent listen to new groups in so long ;; but everyone who has tattoos has them blurry on tv. and with jeongguk, you can see that his tattoos are always blurry or he uses something to hide them when he is on tv. i think only those who work on tv in south korea could explain it. fake tattoos are ok on tv but real not lol. tattoos subject is very complex there and i couldnt explain because i dont understand it either. japan is still a country that is very prejudiced against people who have tattoos but tattoos are allowed on tv.

Everything We Had

thought id put something on this empty blog and see if i can find something to talk about. ive done a few shitty streams on my twitch channel ( https://www.twitch.tv/vape__dad ) in which i talked a little bit about how i made some songs and how i made a music video but i havent yet talked about my cover art at all nor have i uploaded them in high resolution anywhere.

in june 2018 i met up with a friend to take some photos to possibly use as art for my music. i try to do as much as i can myself but all i had at the time to take pictures with was this shitty old nokia phone and, while i had used it to take the photos used for earlier projects, i wanted the visual quality to improve alongside the quality of my music. so we walked around and i was pointing out things that i thought would be cool to take photos of and giving some feedback on stuff like angle and framing, we did this for a few hours and took about 240 photos, i had a lot of fun and it was nice to be out in the sun for once.

the first image is the raw photo. we saw this little spot that was mostly secluded by fences and flora so there were a few little puddles of sunlight on the ground, one of them had this little red flower sitting in it so we’re like “ooh thats pretty *snap*”.

the second to fourth images are the other photos from that day of this specific object which i also considered using.

the fifth image is the art for the song. so i had made this song in march 2019 and i was like ok cool, what the heck am i gonna use for the track art, so i looked through all the possibilites i had on my hard drive and saw this photo and was like “perfect!”. i brought the image into photoshop and began working on it. ive used adobe photoshop cs2 since my early teens but havent really ever pushed my skills in it, barely looked anything up and figured out how to do a few things by just trying stuff out. my skillset with it is basic but its enough to get the results i want. anyway, i spent probably too long, not that it mattered since i had no deadline, cropping the image to have a 1:1 aspect ratio and carefully making sure i had exactly what i wanted exactly where i wanted. i then duplicated the base layer and added some chromatic aberration, the image immediately looked warmer because of all the shifted red but it didnt look like you needed to be wearing those old school 3D glasses or anything, it was a nice subtle touch. even though its like something thats “wrong” i think it can look nice, Grand Theft Auto V on PC is a visually beautiful game which has chromatic aberration that is noticable around the edges of the screen but it isnt intrusive and it doesnt result in an unsightly blurriness. the next layer i added was a -8 ° hue shift with 75% opacity. now the reds on the flowers were more red and less orange, and the yellow leaves became more orange, of course everything in the image had been changed but these were the most noticable differences. next layer was +25% color saturation at 43% opacity, the reds popped more and overall the image was less dull. next layer was selective color, which allows you to adjust cyan/red, magenta/green, yellow/blue, and black/white levels within indivudual color ranges. i was trying to make this look pleasant and dope rather than realistic or how a human eye would percieve it, so i went adjusting everything to be just how i wanted it and when i was done it no longer looked liked it was the middle of a summers day but more like an autumn sunset with orange leaves scattered on the ground and warm feel to the whole image. i really liked how it was looking but i still wanted to change a bit more, while i wanted the flower and spot of sunlight to be the main focus of the image i thought the contrast between that area and the shadowed parts was too high and that some detail was kinda getting lost. so what i did next was i merged the layers i had so far and just generated fake film grain which gave it some texture and brightened the image up but it looked a bit too like sharp and crispy so i resized the image to probably like 50% or something then sized it back up to the original size which made it blur together which gave it a kinda retro-aesthetic too. very simple thing but it really changed a lot, and i love how the final image turned out. judging by the date created/modified timestamps in the metadata of the PSD it took me about one and a half hours to edit the photo.

i have sooo many favourites its hard for meto really choose but i think ONE of my favourites is definitely my man WILLLL. and he was made on a whim based off a smallll comic about a guy liking bunnies haha. he’s really the sweetest thing and hes doing hsi absolute best. he’s a little #basic but its fine hes great regardless, he loveesss elvis, and bunnies, and he has a collection of sweaters and these ccircle sunglasses which he wears bc he has photosensetive albino eyes. (albino as in lack of coloration, not as in blue or red. his eyes are green and a very light blue. he also has skin patches and red hair!) and also he thinks they look cool. but hes ALLOWED to wear them bc his eyes are pphotosensetivce, the kind where if he does gowithout sunglasses, then everythign is blurry. he has a good sense of humor and always tries to make everyonefeel happy, but he does know how to like. keep that from interfering with his own overall happiness for the most part. he’s rlly iconic tbh... i love him.... hes one of the few characters of mine tat id love both irl and as a character! hes ust very sweet and he does his best and hes kind of dumb of ass but hes also very smart. and hes VERY athletic (DOES SOO MANY SPORTS IT DRIVES ME CRAZY HOW DOESH E HAVE TIME FOR ANYHTING)  which again sitn something i do with my characters v often but hesjust,,,, sofd and i love him hes my son. he says “when there’s a will, there’s a way” a lot and it annoys his boyfriend but really it also charms him. his Type is Dramatic Emos Who Think Theyre Goth. he’s liek that dudebro thats genuinely doing his best to understand everyone else but also knows he cant so he’s cute. he’s an inspiration. (also yes he knows elvis is problematic but he opts to ignorethat  his music is great in his mind ok and that might be a bit of a flaw but yknow we all have those)  abd u realize he soundsl iek a mary sue but i just wanna tlak abt his good parts is all ya feel? like hes ust. so good. likehes not only good but hessut one of those ppl thatsl iek SOO good that how do u not?? tlak abt how good theyare???

ok so im gonna write these down to keep track of them

- weird sunburny-feeling patches on skin (like somewhere between sunburn and scraping your knee). usually either on bottom of arm or leg, usually lasts up to an hour. currently have it on underside of right leg and it’s been that way for... about 8 hours - costochondritis (although that hasn’t played up in quite a while) - constant colds/chest infections that don’t go awaayyy - tremor, getting worse, mostly in fingers/hands, but also a kind of weird tremor like shaking in legs sometimes when im standing. and i don’t think it’s just bc i don’t eat enough bc i eat about the same if not more than my parents so? idk - literally always back/shoulder pain why - muscle spasms/twitches, esp in legs atm - vision is THE WORST. astigmatism, but doesn’t seem to be helped by glasses. like. at all. even though i just got a new prescription. just. literally always blurry vision that’s even worse when im tired or when there’s bright lights which is so not helpful at work - my body has never known temperature control in its life - literally tired all the time like wtf. i mean one bonus is that i’m falling asleep easier the last few months whereas it used to take me a long time but. also i’d like to not have to sleep for twelve hours a night just to be vaguely functional - wrist painnnn (altho this could be from typing but im sure it shouldnt be this much) and random shooty pains elsewhere idk i don’t even pay attention man - hecking. um. possible uti or sth idk - what even is balance - that time when my right arm went totally numb even though i wasn’t lying on it - what feels a bit like growing pains except im nearly 21 and i am fairly sure my legs aren’t gonna get any longer - h e c k  e n i n g c ram ps - what is circulation. have my feet ever known blood - them fuckin weird rashes on the tops of my arms and the bottom of my legs wtf is that about edit: - keep feeling like there’s something stuck in my throat - balance is a lie - keep feeling like my tendons and pulling when i walk - walking slower - actually started dragging my leg the other day coming back from piano even though i’ve walked that distance once a fortnight since february and been totally fine

- RIP MY JAW - haven’t had a cold in ages! it’s winter so ill probably get one now but thats good! - chest pain (both types) has been fairly good recently - thyroid area was playing up for a while but as of a couple of weeks ago it seems to have calmed down - v i b r a t i o n s - srsly i’m not sure how much of that is tiredness/lack of eating and how much is just. The Thing. in legs, in back (usually when sitting up straight, though not often), and shakiness in hand (tho hand shakiness doesn’t feel quite the same, though that could justbe bc im comparing fingers to legs which are rather larger) - mmm back of neck pain is like. there. but its usually mild like a 2 or a 3 i guess - shoulder is better! need to do exercises more often

TWO DREAMS LIKE MO V I E S i had a dream that i was at dinner at some rental mansion thing with my family and i do mean my family like, BOTH parents grandparents erica the whole nine yards actually i think we were at uncle tonys ajd i had found this weird mask at a place i guess and i decided to give it to my dad as a present because idk he likes weird shit like that so i take the mask and it looks like the face of like... an okd republican guy. not that creepy. but when i brought it out everyone was TERRIFIED and i was like... its creepy but its just a plastic mask and its not... THAT creepy, its just an old man and everyone disagreed they were like "no that is DISFIGURED and HORRIFFIC and we left the room, with the mask, to go hang out somewhere else my mom took a picture of the mask with her phone so she could show me what the mask really was and it was TERRIFYING and shes like "it changes but this is its true form" and apparently when you gift this mask to someone it starts to reflect their true character, which is why as soon as the mask was given to my father it became grotesque and terrifying. ok but when i woke up from this it was SO NOPE AND SO SCARY most of this shit is paraphrased, not what they literally said the second one ohhhhhh so im in japan hanging w a bunch of jrock idola who are probably hanging out with me bc they think im pretty and they wanna get laid .....aww but i dont wanna say that because they were all nice and didnt treat me like that dont do them like that rose anyway it was aoi and uruha and then i think meto and another guy and we were hanging out in this area with a bunch of stores but in this little hideaway in front of them, like a studio under the stores and the parking lot looked like the one in the bay shore area thing with target and micheals at one point i was driving around in mia's fancy car through the parking lot regretting all my life choices bc i know if i crash his car im fuckin DONE FOR like JROCK IS OVER FOR ME I COULD NEVER EVEN LOOK A PICTURE OF ANY OF THEM IN THE EYE ANYMORE and periodically other jrock stars would come in and i didnt have my glasses on at one point? i think i wasnt being included in a conversation, so i stopped trying so hard and decided to go to the side and fall asleep on one of the cushy chairs but as soon as i did, i just felt this presence and my eyes opened and i saw this blurry image of kamijo just throwing something out in a trash can and i just knew it was him by the shape of his hair and immediately scrambled for my glasses ok but why tf am i wearing glasses around jrock stars thats the worst shit my glasses though were like.... invisible??? anyway im just looking at him like starry eyed and i say his name and he looks at me and im like OH BOY hes just gonna... look at me and go away and go talk to aoi or some shit but NOPE THIS OLD ASS MAN DECIDED HE WAS GONNA SIT WITH THE PRETTY GIRL ok ok this is so weird but also ok this dream is SO weird so.... he acts like he REMEMBERS me from somewhere like he KNOWS me and i assumed he just remembered me from the concert in nyc BUT HERES THE THING LIKE IM P R E T T Y SURE THATS NOT WHERE HE KNEW ME FROM because he just kind of went along with it with a face like. "this one is cute, she thinks i remember her from a concert that was 2 years ago" no, this fucker doesnt remember me from there. he remembers me from the 4 fucking thousand dreams where we've hung out together having a great fuckin time like we're 2 shitty friends. anyway so kamijo is just acting a lot like he knows me and shit and my ass is just EATING it up because i just desperately wanted to talk to him, i was like, hes here, you have dreams, pour them out to him. was talking about the concert with him "you performed at my favorite venue, that i performed in, and then you performed in, and when i performed in it again it was like i was you-" and hes listening to me actually p impressed like this is new one of the guys calls him over he leaves for like 2 seconds comes back like sorry SITS down next to me and KISSES the ABCK of my GODDAMN NECK and im like oH OK AY?? I DIDNT DO THAT YOU DID?? and im just blushing and what happens NEXT is we continue our fuckin conversation THATS WHAT and we talk and talk even after everyone leaves and its literally like kamijo just SO interested in my hopes and dreams and aspirations EATING that SHIT UP VALIDATING THE SHIT OUT OF ME and me running my mouth, periodically apologizing for doing that. not without him talking, though, he talked a lot as the night goes on for some reason he looks progressively more like a regular 40 something year old man and im like wAowh whAT is going on but im like it's kamijo! it doesn't matter if his hair is a wig or something like... hes kamijo and hes like, my biggest inspiration! and im still having this great conversation with him and im all like "whenever im not motivated to do music, i think of your concert in ny and i know i have to do it for kamijo" ANYWAY IT WAS JUST SUPER NICE AND SUPER INSPIRING AND FUN and when it was time to leave he just somehow sprung back into beautiful kamijo and hes like "wait where are you going" gives me this look like w he. r e u g o o in g i r l and im like look kamijo youre 41 im 18 and the look on his face when i said 18 was like DAMN FUCK I DIDNT KNOW SHE WAS 18 but he was like "damn, i need to get younger wOw im sorry" he knew that was a creepy age gap even if im of consenting age and then im like "and im not throwing away a relationship ive had for like, almost 4 years with my boyfriend" and hes like OH SHIT and he found that really admirable even tho like.... like WHY would i hurt nolan like that thats DUMB. even for a jrock idol?
