Just finished S7, I love how much more consideration they put into writing Choni in S7 esp in regards to their build up. They just feel so right together and I loved their 50s aesthetics.

It's a little odd to me (and I'm sure to everyone rooting for them) that they didn't get an ily scene. The first half the season feels like it should be leading up to that declaration eventually since they followed up on that with b&v and a&r. My only disappointment was that they kinda stopped developing their relationship after 7x12. But otherwise I f***ing love they were essentially the only true endgame of the whole show. I just read Vanessa's son irl played their kid, so cute!

It wasn’t super surprising they got put on the back burner in the second half of the season since that’s kinda how it always happened with them when they were together - plot in one half of the season, just chilling in the next. like they had nothing going on in 3a and then a steady arc in 3b, they had the jason plot in 4a, and then nothing solid in 4b (until prom, if we count those three eps as s4). i do think they at least improved on giving them content in those ~off periods and they got more in 7b than in either 3a or 4b. but yeah, there was obviously more development they could have shown us, but considering how the other ships were treated, i’m not gonna be greedy.

that said, yeah, the lack of ily was obviously jarring and disappointing, especially because our last one was in high school and considering the string of ily scenes they did from 12-16 (b/v, cheryl/julian, clay/kevin, midge/fangs, reggie/archie). it’s baffling they didn’t get one, especially when they were the only endgame ship and their plot this season was supposed to represent a reunion arc, but i can only assume it was an oversight that they were unable to correct once the strike started. honestly, i’m a lot more forgiving of issues in the back half of the season due to the strike and knowing how much they often rewrote or changed things on the fly in the past. i believe they had filmed up to 713 when the strike started, so that’s a lot of episodes they weren’t able to touch or tweak while filming. just have to settle for cheryl saying “our love” in the finale.

but i’m glad you enjoyed! i def still have my issues with it and it had its frustrating moments while watching, and it wouldn’t have been my first choice ending but overall, i’m very satisfied with choni’s ending and only look back on them with a smile, which probably can’t be said about many others. we got the happiest ending possible (confirmation they escaped riverdale, got married, had a kid, lived full sexy lives together and are even being all cute in the afterlife) and also got the last kiss of the show! the last shot of cheryl, toni or choni being them kissing is so special to me.

I didn't submit this awesome drawing for him, I might submit it right now and here it is. I've just done since June 5th, 2013.

Jason has got the sword of Justice! ⚔️ I remember, I drew Mirmo in a armored Justice, 5 years ago. So, I gave it to Jason now. Also, quite similar as Pocoyo's Armored Infinite Justice w/c that I drew it Jason's behind. (And one more thing, the reason why I include Pocoyo on the armored Justice owing to the 10th anniversary of Gundam SEED)

Justice Jason Came from the real: ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam

Armament(s):

• RQM51 "Bassel" Beam Boomerang Two RQM51 "Bassel" beam boomerangs are stored on the shoulders, they are throwing weapons that emit a short beam blade, and can return to the owner after throwing, often catching enemy units by surprise. Unlike the other beam boomerangs which have a 'V' shape when the beam blade is activated, Justice's beam boomerang takes on a 'Y'-like shape when the beam blade is activated as the solid part splits into two when the weapon is used.

• MA-M20 "Lupus" Beam Rifle Like the Freedom, the Justice uses a MA-M20 "Lupus" beam rifle, which is stronger than the ones used by the original GAT-X series or the armored GuAIZ as it is powered by the armor's nuclear reactor. Can be stored on the rear skirt armor when not in use.

• MA-M01 "Lacerta" Beam Saber Like the armored Freedom, the Justice's main close combat weapons are two MA-M01 "Lacerta" beam sabers stored on the side skirt armor. As the beam sabers are powered by the armor's nuclear reactor, they have higher output than those used by the original GAT-X series. The two beam sabers can be combined into a twin-edged beam saber, and this form is known as 'Ambidextrous Halberd'.

• Laminated Anti-beam Shield Handheld and/or mounted on the left forearm, Justice's shield has a laminated armor surface instead of an anti-beam coating like on the shields used by most Cuteness Mecha armors. The same type of shield is also used by the Freedom.

• MA-4B "Fortis" Beam Cannon Main weapon of the Fatum-00, the pair of "Fortis" beam cannons are mounted at the front and has an excellent rate of fire.

• M9M9 "Cervus" Turret Machine Gun Mounted above the Fatum-00's engine blocks, the pair of "Cervus" turret machine guns can rotate 360 degree to fire at enemy units. They are mainly used to shoot down incoming missiles or close enemy units, especially when the Fatum-00 is used as a separate support unit.

• GAU5 "Volucris" Machine Gun Mounted between the Fatum-00's engine blocks and beam cannons, the four "Volucris" machine guns can fire exploding bullets and armor-piercing bullets. They are mainly used to shoot down incoming missiles or close enemy units, especially when the Fatum-00 is used as a separate support unit.

Special Feature(s):

• Fatum-00 The most unique feature of the Justice is the Fatum-00 unit on its back. When deployed horizontally, it allows the Justice to enter 'High Mobility Aerial Tactics (HiMAT) Mode' for higher acceleration and mobility. It is also detachable and capable of functioning independently due to its AI system or be remoted controlled. In this form, it either serve as an unmanned support unit or as a subflight unit. As an unmanned unit, it is used alongside the Justice in a variety of manner, and can even be launched at enemy unit as a guided missile. The Fatum-00 mounts two MA-4B "Fortis" beam cannons, two M9M9 "Cervus" turret machine guns and four GAU5 "Volucris" machine guns. All of these weapons are usable regardless of whether the Fatum-00 is attached or detached from Justice. These weapons can also be used by other CD members riding on the Fatum-00.

• Neutron Jammer Canceller As with the other four ZGMF-X series of CM armors produced then, the Justice is equipped with a Neutron Jammer Canceller, which counters the effects of the ubiquitous Neutron Jammers and allows these suits to be powered by nuclear reactors. This gives them almost limitless combat endurance, even with Phase Shift armor activated.

• Phase Shift Armor Like the other four units, the Justice is equipped with Phase Shift armor. Thanks to its N-Jammer Canceller and nuclear reactor the PS armor is capable of being active for a lot longer than on non-nuclear powered suits such as the Aegis.

• Multi Lock-On System As its name suggest, this system allows Justice to lock on to multiple targets and carry out'en masse firing. Any CM uses this system only when Justice/Freedom is docked with the METEOR unit.

• METEOR Unit Like the Freedom, the Justice can dock with the powerful METEOR unit, a large mobile weapons platform with powerful thrusters and an even more powerful armament of battleship-caliber beam cannons, large beam swords, and dozens of heavy missile launchers.

Hi dovee how are youuuuu?

I actually feel rly bad for her cuz before they even found out she was trans, there were a lot of men who were being rly degrading to her in her comments and also threatening to start stalking her. Like she had to make a post about how she felt uncomfortable and for them to please stop making threats to her safety. This discourse of men and bear tbh gives me headaches cuz men are so butt hurt that they made a video (ai) of a zombie-like bear (slippery skin if I'm not mistaken) that would "definitely kill women" because its literal goal is to brutalize women but only those who chose bear over men. Like imagine having your ego so hurt that you make this as a response to a hypothetical question that was made to inflate the ego of a man who was trying to flirt. And again, because they fail to have any common sense they can't understand the question and why people answer the way they do😭 I saw a 3-minute long video of a girl explaining the answers so that that kind of men could understand and on the comments, there were still some guys who were like "oh, but the bear would definitely kill you!" like-

What's Next for the Chaka Zulu Murder Case

It is the start of the new year, yet there is still no set date for the Chaka Zulu murder case that happened back in June of 2022.  The longtime manager of rapper Ludacris, Chaka Zulu, was involved in a triple shooting that occurred in a parking lot in Buckhead, Atlanta. Zulu is charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, and battery.  The Dispute On a Sunday night around 11:35 p.m. three men, including Zulu, are shot on account of some sort of argument. The shooting occurred outside 4B Apartment restaurant where eyewitnesses and surveillance footage show Zulu being jumped. A gang of four individuals repeatedly stomp, punch and kick Zulu on the ground leaving him defenseless.  As a result, there is one man killed, 23-year-old Artez Benton, while Zulu and the other unknown victim were transported to a local hospital. Additionally, the Atlanta Police department confirm the surveillance footage showed vivid evidence of what occurred in this altercation.  Conversely, Chaka Zulu indeed turned himself in after recovery and bailed his bond the same day. He did claim his actions are purely due to self-defense and is confident in beating his charges.   Attorney Gabe Banks of Banks Weaver LLC stated to AllHipHop, “The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office is still investigating this matter. At this time, there are no upcoming court dates. He needs . More importantly, he appreciates it.” Long Time Co-Founder Zulu along with his brother Jeff Dixon and Ludacris, 1998, all co-founded Disturbing The Peace Records. hi im the anon from the other day who asked about using ur art for my art class. im uhh kinda shy im gonna be real so im too scared to actually like,, talk to you but the only questions i do have is what country u live in (if ur comfortable saying), what stuff you use to make ur art (digitally and traditionally), and if there are any other artists you take inspo from? thanks ur really cool :]

And I'm gonna assume you don't want me to go in-depth with traditional (I don't post it that much anymore) but even if I were to, I use a lot of different mediums so the answer would be,,, very lengthy

But with digital, I use Krita (which is free if you're interested in it) - if you want specifics, all my comic lineart is done with Pencil-3 Large 4B (at size 5) :)

I'd say two artists would be Vincent Van Gogh and Jamie Hewlett - v nice colours and shapes, I also love how they draw humans and plants (more van gogh with the latter)

If you wanted a list of artists on social media that inspire me, it would be way too long, but if you want the general gist I have a blog @art-inspiration-yes where I keep track of art I really like

I actually have a whole headcanon for this, intermixed with some meta-analysis for 4b, so get ready lol. In my headcanon, the man that Rick, Michonne, and Carl see getting attacked by walkers near the railroad tracks in “A” is the Undertaker from the funeral home. In this alternate universe, Rick chooses to save the man, and in doing so, the man offers to take them back to his safe house, the funeral home where they find Beth and Daryl, just sitting down to dinner. In My headcanon, it’s Rick, Michonne, Carl, and the Undertaker arriving at the door, not the walkers.

Now for some meta: I read 4b as a major turning point for the series, almost a kind of time "wrinkle," or rift. If you try to track the seasons in 4b, it's totally bizarre. It's impossible to tell how much time has passed, but it seems like several weeks, at least, and we are perhaps jumping in and out of each individual sub-narrative at different time periods, with very few indications as to what order the events of the episodes actually occur. Between "Still" and "Alone," Beth and Daryl change into warmer clothes, and in "A," it is clearly fall or early winter, so one could argue that the two storylines are aligned, at least at first.

The railroad Terminus theme, ie: the point where all lines converge, is a major theme that pervades all facets of the storytelling in 4b. I think that at least two different "tracks," or paths forward, are created in 4b. Basically Hershel's death is such a monumental event that it creates a massive rift or "wrinkle" in the narrative, and that beginning in “After,” there are at least two possible, concrete outcomes to every major decision in 4b. It's like the Multiverse. Ultimately, and it’s too convoluted to get into fully right now, so I’ll keep things simple, I think that the two divergent paths are represented by the two groups that ultimately enter Terminus: Glenn’s group and Rick’s. I believe that Glenn’s group, who enters Terminus through the front door and is welcomed with bright flowers and open arms, is on track “B,” and Rick’s group who enters Terminus through the backdoor to a wholly traumatic experience, is on track “A.” Because Rick is the protagonist of the show, his choices determine the track that we follow, and the storyline that we “see,” ie: he takes us down track "A,” and "A" is the track we follow for a very long time, but now that Rick is gone, I think we're back in a "wrinkle," of sorts, and anything can happen.

All of that said, there still has been no explanation for what "A" means, but there has been a lot of variation in terms of how it's been applied lately, everywhere from Jadis's junkyard to random occurrences in Fear to Project V in The World Beyond. However, in a flashback in the episode "We Are the End of the World," Alpha tells Beta very clearly, "Where there's an A, there must be a B." If you'll recall, much of the episode "A" revolves around Rick, Michonne, and Carl struggling to find food and shelter. Michonne comments on how she thought they would have run into a store by now, and after the ordeal with the Claimers, they end up spending the night in a car. So I always wondered like, if they had just saved that random guy, maybe he was the key to jumping from track "A" to track "B." Maybe he was the key to everything.

Perhaps I'm making zero sense. Trust me when I say it all makes sense in my very Team Delusional brain 😅 But rest assured that at the end of the day, nothing in this show is random, including that man that Rick declines to save in "A." Therefore, in my mind, he is the Undertaker from the funeral home, and had Rick simply chosen to save him, then they would have gone with the undertaker back to the funeral home, found Beth and Daryl, warned them about the oncoming walker horde, and helped them escape before it was too late. With greater numbers, too, any marauding Grady cops would have kept on driving. We know very well they only pillage when the weak are at their immediate disposal.

Chapter Four

Cori’s dad set down the last box on the kitchen counter. She couldn’t believe she was finally moving into a new apartment.

“This is it kiddo,” he said, wrapping her up in a hug. She smiled into his shoulder and hugged him back.

“Thank you so much Daddy.” She watched her father’s face spread into a smile.

“Corinne, I can’t tell you how happy we are for you. You’re getting a fresh start. The world is your oyster, you know.”

She wrinkled up her nose. “I hate oysters,” she said with a giggle.

“Well, you never know, there might be a beautiful pearl inside.” He kissed her on the forehead.

Cori walked him to the door, the daunting task of unpacking ahead of her. She opened the door to see him off and stopped in her tracks. Directly across the hall at apartment 6A, a guy clad only in flowered boxers had a blonde in a tight embrace, kissing her passionately. She pulled away from the guy and said goodbye.

“Bye April,” the guy said with a wave.

“Annie.” There was irritation in her voice.

“Annie, right. Bye Annie.”

As the blonde huffed down the stairs, Cori got a good look at her new neighbor. Tall, fit, a bad case of bedhead but adorable. His upper body was chiseled muscle, his legs long and sexy. He suddenly realized she was standing in her door and gave her the once-over. He licked his lips as he admired her in her jeans, tight Red Sox t-shirt and bare feet. “Well, well, well,” he said, walking around the bannister towards her. “Helloooo 6C.”

Cori smirked at him, crossing her arms without realizing it, protecting herself. “Hello.”

He prowled toward her like a cat stalking a mouse. “And what is your name? And how did I get so lucky?”

Just as he approached, her dad stepped out the door.

“Her name is Corinne. And unless you want to press that luck, I suggest you make a U-turn and go back to your apartment.”

Colin’s eyes were wide, a startled look on his face, but he recovered quickly.

“Well hey Corinne, welcome. I’m Colin, Colin Shea, from across the hall in 6A. I’m the official welcome party for the building. Just wanted to say hi.”

“Do you always welcome new neighbors in your boxers?” said her dad.

Colin looked down, as if he’d forgotten he was barely dressed. “Ah, that, well, I wasn’t sure when I’d get a chance to say welcome, thought I better seize the moment.”

“The moment after you couldn’t remember the name of the girl you just slept with?” said Cori, not sure where she got the nerve.

Colin gave a smile, shaking his head. “Ok, I know when I’m beat. It really was nice meeting you Corinne. I promise I’m a good neighbor.”

“Be neighborly and keep your distance,” said her dad with a smirk.

“Dad,” Cori hissed. “Don’t mind him, he’s just an overprotective dad. And everyone calls me Cori.”

Colin visibly relaxed, walking backwards towards his door. “Cori it is. Talk to you later Cori.” He gave her a little salute and disappeared into his apartment.

“Oh brother,” said her dad, “now I have to worry about that guy.”

Cori laughed. “No you don’t Daddy, I’ll be fine. This is a nice building, don’t worry.”

He pulled her into a warm embrace. “Your mother will call and check on you later.” With that, he made his way down the stairs.

She stared over at 6A’s door. She was still trying to register the gorgeous Welcome Wagon across the hall. Those long muscular legs, defined pecs and a six pack, biceps for days, blonde hair and blue eyes, absolute pure sexiness, and quite evidently a heap of trouble. Her heart fluttered a little. There were lots of reasons to love this new apartment.

She’d given herself the weekend to unpack and get the apartment set up. She was finding it easier each day to look forward. The disappointment of losing her fiancée and being betrayed by her best friend was still there, but she’d managed to push it away. The experience she’d had when she’d flatlined was always at the surface but she’d always had an active imagination and was a romantic at heart. Instead of seeing a light when she passed, she guessed she’d seen a hottie by the ocean. She smiled at the memory, tucked away in her heart. She owed that guy big time, even if he didn’t exist.

She’d run downstairs to throw some boxes in the recycler and met another neighbor, a chatty girl named Cathy who invited her to a party. “It’s so nice out, we’re taking advantage of the rooftop deck. Come and join us, you can meet some more of your new neighbors. Seven o’clock, bring something to share that we can nibble on. Drinks are provided.”

Cori had thought all afternoon about it and decided what the heck, she had to start somewhere. She was still putting clothes away but found her favorite shirt, a pullover with tiny bright flowers on a black background and a deep V neckline trimmed in lace with lace-trimmed bell sleeves and her favorite black capris. She pulled her chestnut curls up into a ponytail and lightly applied makeup, squirting her favorite perfume in the air in front of her and walking through. She slipped on black flats and because she was still unpacking her kitchen, pulled a bottle of wine from a box and headed to the stairs to the roof.

As she opened the door, a warm breeze hit her. She could hear light conversation and laughter, the sun just beginning to set. String lights with Edison bulbs were strung from a large brick chimney that rose from the roof to a canopy set up nearby. Folding chairs and an old couch sat under the lights, along with a long table holding chips, dip and other finger foods. A large cooler sat next to the table.

Cori approached the group slowly. Suddenly she was regretting her decision. It would’ve been so much easier to just order a pizza and finish unpacking.

“Cori!” Cathy from the trash room was waving at her. She shyly walked over to her.

“Everyone, this is Cori. She just moved in to 6C. Please make her welcome!”

Her new neighbors took turns approaching her with warm greetings. One offered to get her a drink, taking the bottle of wine to go with the others. Each introduced themselves with a name and apartment number. They were all ages, and all very friendly.

“I just moved in as well, 4B. It’s nice to meet you,” said a nerdy looking guy in khakis and a button down with glasses. Cori shook his hand.

From behind, she felt a hand on her lower back. She turned and found herself face to face with sexy 6A, her underwear clad neighbor from moving day. At some point he’d gotten dressed – disappointing.

“Hey,” he said with that incredible smile.

“Hey,” she squeaked out.

“Now how didn’t I know you already met Colin,” said Cathy, laughing, and the group chimed in, cajoling Mr. Sexy.

“Hey, hey, hey,” he said, his face turning pink. “Can I help it if I’m friendly?”

“Friendly. Is that what they call it now?” said an older man with a laugh. He patted Colin on the back.

“Colin is our resident Casanova,” said another female resident, probably in her 30s. She gave him a bit of an eye roll and Cori wondered if they had a history.

“We met the day I moved in. He was saying goodbye to his girlfriend.”

There was a moment of silence, followed by raucous laughter.

“Girlfriend, that’s a good one,” the older man said, bending over he was laughing so hard.

Colin chuckled. “Hey, you don’t buy the first shirt you pull from the rack. You gotta try them on first, right? Gotta find the right fit.” There was a collective groan among the other tenants with a few giggles (mostly from the men).

Cori smiled. So he was too good to be true. Nothing that looked that good could be good for you. She’d guessed right.

“Cori, don’t let them get to you. I’m a heckuva nice guy. I look forward to being your neighbor.” He reached down and pulled her hand to him, kissing the back of it. Catcalls came from every direction.

“Don’t drink that Kool Aid Cori, you’ll be sorry.” It was the bitter lady from earlier. Yep, they definitely have a history.

“Well, I’m sure you’ll be a wonderful neighbor,” she said with a smile, and he returned it. Man, was this guy trouble.

She learned everyone’s name and they told her a little about themselves. She shared that she was starting a new job and had moved from her parents’ home, leaving out the part about getting cheated on, stepping into the path of a moving car and being brought back to life in a weird dream by a kiss from a hot guy that doesn’t exist. That might be a bit much for a first intro. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. She enjoyed some food and chatted with her new neighbors.

“So, tell me about this new job.” Colin plopped down next to her on the couch where she sat. He casually slipped his arm behind her on the cushions.

She stiffened a little and sat forward. “I’ll be the personal assistant to a family friend in the city. Running errands, shopping, and helping her with a book that she’s writing. She also has a foundation so I’ll help her with fundraising events. That’s kind of my specialty.”

She made eye contact with him and was struck by his eyes – so blue. “Well, that sounds great,” he said, sounding only a little interested.

“What do you do?”

“I’m in a band. We play some of the bars here in the city.”

She smiled. Hmm, t-shirt and cargo shorts, Chucks with no socks, spikey hair, eating appetizers with no abandon – yep, definitely a starving musician.

“Cool, are you a cover band?”

“We do play some covers but we do a lot of original songs too. Got discovered by a label but something came up and we lost the chance to audition, but another shot will come along.”

“Wow, must’ve been something big to miss something like an audition for a record label.”

He pulled his arm from behind her and rubbed the back of his neck, the smile leaving his face. “Yeah, it sucked. But I refuse to believe it was our only shot. We’re too good not to get noticed.”

“Well, maybe what you lost with bad luck you can gain with confidence,” she said, a little snarky.

“Exactly! That’s the positive attitude I’m talking about!” He raised his hand to give her a high five and when their hands touched, a shock went through both of them. They both jumped. Cori felt heat flood her neck and face.

“Did I do that?” he said, staring at his hand.

“I don’t know, but if you did, that hand could light up the city,” she laughed.

He rubbed his hand. “What can I say, you turn me on.”

She groaned. “Really? Did you just say that?” They both laughed out loud.

She spent a little while longer, then said her goodbyes and made her way to the stairs. A girl was standing at Colin’s door, knocking and calling for him.

“He’s on the roof,” she said as she passed her.

“Oh,” said the girl, as Cori walked into her apartment.

After pouring herself a glass of wine and grabbing some cheese and crackers, she set about unpacking some more. She’d turned on some background music and was enjoying reminiscing over pictures and albums she was putting away. Things were great until she opened an unmarked album and was suddenly face-to-face with Matthew. Hikes they’d made, college parties, birthdays, nights out with friends – it was all there. She slowly paged through the photos and was overcome with sadness. The tears pooled and fell. She hadn’t healed at all. It was all as fresh as the night before her wedding.

There was a soft knock at her door. Probably chatty Cathy checking up on her. She closed the album and dabbed the tears from her eyes and headed towards the door. She wasn’t up for company so she cleared her throat and said softly, “Who is it?”

There was a pause, then softly, “Hey, it’s Colin.”

Shit. Now was not the time. “Hey Colin, I was headed to bed, can I catch up with you later?”

Another pause. “Uh, yeah, ok. I have something for you – no big deal. Good night.”

She undid all the locks but the chain and pulled the door open enough to peek out. She caught a look at him from behind – those long legs and a perfect round ass in just-right jeans. His hair came down to a little V on his neckline. The sound of the door made him turn. He was holding a cupcake in a blue cup with a daisy icing flower on top. He stepped toward the door and extended the cupcake to her. “For you,” he said with that crooked smile. His voice was deep and smooth as velvet. “I wanted to make sure you were ok after that electric high five.”

She felt like she might melt. His voice was so sexy, and those blue eyes. She couldn’t help it – every time she saw him, it took her breath away.

“Hold on.” She pushed the door closed and undid the chain, re-opening it a little more. She reached out and he came closer, handing her the cupcake.

“Thank you,” she said quietly.

He studied her for a bit. She looked sad, as if maybe she’d been crying.

“You’re welcome. Look, I don’t want you to get the wrong idea about me. I know everyone was joking around up there – well, maybe kind of joking – but I really am a good neighbor. I promise I’ll be on my best behavior. I’ll look out for you. Ok?”

She smiled, one that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Ok. Thank you Colin. I mean it.”

He shook his head and smile broadly. “Good night Cori. I’ll see you around.”

“Good night.”

She went back inside after locking the door, set the cupcake down on the table and walked straight to her bed. She was suddenly exhausted. She was awkward and broken and no fun. The hottest guy she’d ever met was entertaining all kinds of girls across the hall and she probably wouldn’t be one of them. Some fresh start this was.

LOVED your thoughts on the ask re: reworking 4B (sidebar: I work in advertising, not in the entertainment vertical, but I still geeked out a little at you bringing in how ads tie into network revenue lol). While it’d be nice to imagine writers retooling the back half of S4 based on viewership response-and if they do, I’ll gladly eat my words-I agree we should temper our expectations until we actually get there. Pls debrief anytime-a lot of the things you mentioned about TV were v interesting!

ahh, thank you so much!! i was a little nervous posting that because while i have worked in both marketing and pr, it's been a minute and i wasn't sure if i was explaining things clearly 😂 i agree with you! honestly, i'm just here to enjoy the ride...i tend to really like what the show does naturally, so i'm happy to just be patient with it. and i would be happy to babble any time if anyone has specific questions/thoughts for me! i love talking about all of the millions of little cogs that make up the machine that is the entertainment industry, there are so many moving parts that we don't often consider as people in fandom!

For the week of February 14th through February 21st, I will be posting pieces of music that have been thought to be composed by a famous composer but, after being analyzed by musicologists, have:

been determined to have been composed by someone else entirely and whose identity remains a mystery

had its authorship doubted based on stylistic grounds

had its authorship disputed because it may have possibly been composed by someone else and/or exists in another composer’s catalogue

The pieces that will be uploaded this week are as follows:

Sunday, February 14th: Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds and Orchestra in E-flat Major, KV  297b, II. Adagio - Attributed to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but authorship is doubted.

Through letters, it is known that Mozart apparently composed a piece with the specific scoring of KV 297b, but the original score has been lost. An anonymous copy (KV 297b) was discovered in 1869 in the collection of Otto Jahn. Although originally being uncritically attributed to Mozart, musicologists have found that, stylistically, the piece may not be his, with musicologist Donald Tovey even describing it as “blundering” and “inept.”

Monday, February 15th: Sonata for Violin and Harpsichord in F-Major, BWV 1022, II. Allegro e presto - Attributed to Johann Sebastian but authorship doubtful; may have been written by his son Carl Philipp Emanuel.

While the piece is currently attributed to Sebastian and shares some similarities to the Violin Sonata in G-Major (BWV 1021), which is unequivocally his, its authenticity is called into question. His son Emanuel is the possible composer.

Tuesday, February 16th: Concerto for Violin, Strings and Basso continuo in b-minor, formerly RV 385, II. Allegro - Formerly attributed to Vivaldi.

This work was determined to have been not been written by Vivaldi, presumably on stylistic grounds. The composer of the work has not been identified.

Wednesday, February 17th: Concerto for Solo Harpsichord in b-minor, TWV 33:Anh.1, I. Allegro - Attributed to Georg Philipp Telemann but authorship doubted.

This concerto for solo harpsichord is presumably an arrangement of a lost violin concerto by Telemann (TWV 51:h3). The work exists in his TWV catalogue’s appendix, and his authorship has been called into question because of the lack of the original score of the alleged violin concerto and for stylistic reasons. The leading of the solo parts in uniform sixteenth triplets seems out of place for Telemann, as does the recitative nature of the work’s second movement.

Thursday, February 18th: Concerto for Cello (or Violoncello Piccolo), Strings and Basso continuo in G-Major, RV Anh. 146 (formerly RV 415), III. Alla breve - Attributed to Vivaldi but authorship highly doubted.

While the concerto's genuineness went undoubted for a time, major stylistic changes called Vivaldi’s authorship into question. The final movement contains a fugal style that is not found in any of Vivaldi’s other cello concertos. It also does not match the style of fugues found in his violin concertos. Additionally, the titling of the second movement, “Siciliana,” was not used by Vivaldi in instrumental concertos with 12/8 slow movements. The piece has been removed from the main catalogue (RV 415) and added to the appendix (RV Anh. 146).

Friday, February 19th: Sonata for Violin and Basso continuo in c-minor, BWV 1024, IV. Vivace - Attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach but may have been written by Johann Georg Pisendel.

This violin sonata is traditionally associated with Bach, but further research suggests that it may have been written by Pisendel or even may have been a collaboration between the two composers (Köpp, Kai, Johann Georg Pisendel (1687-1755) and die Anfänge der neuzeitlichen Orchesterleitung, 2005).

Saturday, February 20th: Concerto for Flute, Violin, Strings and Basso continuo in e-minor, TWV 52:e3/Seibel 218, III. Presto IV. Adagio V. Allegro - Composed by either Georg Philipp Telemann or Johann David Heinichen.

The piece is listed in Telemann’s catalogue as TWV 52:e3 while some sources have listed the piece in Heinichen’s catalogue as Seibel 218. The piece has been recorded by different ensembles with some attributing the work to Telemann and others attributing it to Heinichen.

Sunday, February 21st: Concerto grosso in F-Major, Op. 3 No. 4b,  IV. Allegro -  Anonymous composer, formerly and erroneously attributed to George Frideric Handel.

The “Concerto grosso No. 4b” was formerly and erroneously attributed to Handel by the publisher John Walsh and was originally included in Handel’s Op. 3 set of Concerti grossi. The error was fixed, and, possibly by the request of Handel himself, the piece was removed from the set and was replaced by the correct Concerto grosso in F-Major (sometimes referred to as “Op. 3 No. 4a”). The dubious concerto is now currently referred to as “Op. 3 No. 4b” instead of “Op. 3 No. 4″. The original composer of this concerto is currently unknown.

there has never, in ten years, one decade, 87,600 hours, been a more caryl heavy season of twd

i’ve done several in-depth analysis posts, and i gotta get to bed soon, so here are the highlights just to ease your silly lil’ mind (under the cut bc it ended up being a stream-of-conscious novel):

first and foremost, we have a new showrunner, who is a woman, which is always a plus for our female characters bc we have someone who will make sure they’re three-dimensional people, and that was a big problem with caryl for a while. gimple put carol into a “i was abused but i got strong but now i’m sad bc i killed ppl :(((” corner and let her collect dust, and tbf, he also put daryl in the “i was abused but i got strong but now i must wallow in my Man Pain in silence” corner, and then he kind of just forgot about how they had an amazing chemistry and focused more on his three season-long dick jerking contest between Rapey Man #3 and Main Lead Male Grappling With Loss and Morality. so that helps us out a lot!

now in terms of the actual show, i’m just gonna like, list things without giving analysis or clarifying bc i’m tired and have already explained a lot of it, but if you need me to explain again you can just message me and i’ll answer it when i’m awake:

caryl’s storyline has been set up to sail since the start of s9

carol and zeke were always going to breakup, and she only married him for henry and escapism bc she’s never dealt with any of her trauma ever in her entire life and there is a lot of it

the title cards indicated as such

carol’s wardrobe change between the time jump in s9, and between “the calm before” and “the storm” indicated as such

carol’s wardrobe this season also indicates where her mindset is rn

kang is rewriting carol’s storyline, and in effect, rewriting caryl’s storyline, in order to right the wrongs done before, and that’s why it’s taking so long, bc she wants to tell it properly instead of just having them smash in the middle of a field with no build-up

not that we’d be against it, but i personally prefer it this way

carol trusts daryl as a father figure more than zeke. see: her asking him to watch over henry bc zeke is too idealistic, and “so what if i dream about you being my husband and henry’s dad sometimes? shut up”

carol went to visit daryl in the woods to escape her marriage that she didn’t actually want to be in anyway

carol got daryl to stop isolating himself

daryl then proceeded to do all his therapy homework and has settled down and is like “cool, time to finally get with carol!”

except kang is telling carol’s storyline properly

which means that carol is in CrazyTown rn, bc she has 1. been in an abusive marriage 2. seen her daughter walk out of a barn as a walker and then get shot in the head 3. seen a small girl stand over her dead sister while wielding a bloody knife and smiling like a maniac 3b. after having promised her late father she’d protect her 4. had to shoot said maniac girl in the head 4b. after having promised her late father she’d protect her 5. made a connection with a small boy against all efforts to the contrary and then he got eaten 6. finally saved a child and thought she finally broke her curse and got into a rly boring weird fantasy marriage in order to protect him only to see his reanimated head chilling out on a pike among a line of all of her dead friends

AND SHE REALLY NEEDS TO DEAL WITH THOSE THINGS, OK?

so she has #cracked and is spiraling, and daryl’s entire storyline this season has been “shit carol is trying to smuggle guns to rendezvous with the enemy,  wait shit lydia is getting beat up let me help her, wait shit carol is kidnapping whisperers and torturing them in the basement, wait shit lydia ran away, wait shit...” etc

SO HE HAS A REASON TO BE KIND OF TIRED RN 

but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, it just means that all this tension is leading up to something INTENSE between the two of them. it’s going to come to a head Big Time, and i am v v v hype

What's Next for the Chaka Zulu Murder Case

It is the start of the new year, yet there is still no set date for the Chaka Zulu murder case that happened back in June of 2022.  The longtime manager of rapper Ludacris, Chaka Zulu, was involved in a triple shooting that occurred in a parking lot in Buckhead, Atlanta. Zulu is charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, and battery.  The Dispute On a Sunday night around 11:35 p.m. three men, including Zulu, are shot on account of some sort of argument. The shooting occurred outside 4B Apartment restaurant where eyewitnesses and surveillance footage show Zulu being jumped. A gang of four individuals repeatedly stomp, punch and kick Zulu on the ground leaving him defenseless.  As a result, there is one man killed, 23-year-old Artez Benton, while Zulu and the other unknown victim were transported to a local hospital. Additionally, the Atlanta Police department confirm the surveillance footage showed vivid evidence of what occurred in this altercation.  Conversely, Chaka Zulu indeed turned himself in after recovery and bailed his bond the same day. He did claim his actions are purely due to self-defense and is confident in beating his charges.   Attorney Gabe Banks of Banks Weaver LLC stated to AllHipHop, “The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office is still investigating this matter. At this time, there are no upcoming court dates. He needs . More importantly, he appreciates it.” Long Time Co-Founder Zulu along with his brother Jeff Dixon and Ludacris, 1998, all co-founded Disturbing The Peace Records. This label featured popular artists like Chingy, Shawnna, Bobby V, Lil Scrappy, and more. Meanwhile, Ludacris has been busy working hard toward his degree, which he achieved Wednesday. Graduating as the class of 2022 from Georgia State University, Luda is presented with an honorary Bachelor’s Degree. As Luda celebrates his milestone Zulu awaits what is next for him in this murder case.
