What's gonna happen when Michaels flesh fully rots away..? How is he going to continue on? Or if he's going to live on after that point

i'm considering the options on that, and there's a few possibilities about what michael's future would hold. the first is that his flesh does entirely decay, leaving a skeleton behind that still functions the way the ferryman does...however, where the ferryman tore away their flesh, michael is actively decomposing and bones aren't free of that process, which begs the question of how long does mike's consciousness and life hold out? i wouldn't be sure of the end point there, so it's unlikely to go that far. the second option is that michael dies once his organs/brain fully rot - i actually have him consuming a bit of food to survive as i do like the idea that angels partake in the fruit of life and manna, though mike strictly consumes honey due to the state of his jaw. so his death would likely result from either his organs failing or his brain deteriorating with the latter being the biggest worry at present in the au. like i mentioned, the white webbing is his neural network, and it shouldn't be that color - angelic brains are usually transparent with an iridescent glow, but michael's is opaque and dull. plus, his network is becoming increasingly exposed to the elements and he REFUSES to stop fighting!! it's deeply concerning for raphael, as michael can't gauge the damage done to his body with his total lack of sensation, and his brain is being put at increasing risk when it's already ailing. but!! last option is mike's good ending, where raphael and v2 are able to work out some kind of balance that halts the decomposition process where it's at and michael can remain in a stable, albeit delicate, state. they can't reverse what's happened, but they find a way to keep michael's body from losing anymore tissue so long as they keep a close eye on his current biome and he makes sure to attend all of his healing sessions with raph. if his life does get that extension, i think it would be his turn for a lot of introspection and deconstruction

well... just finished s4v2 of stranger things... I have some thoughts.

First ep length complaints. they def could’ve edited some shit down, but also I think it would’ve been better in 30min eps with like 20 eps in the season. Why aren’t shows doing that anymore??? They had perfect opportunities for good cliffhangers mid ep that should’ve been where the ep ended. Honestly it felt like this season was built for binge watching, none of the episodes really felt distinct. I will happily binge watch any show cause that’s how my brain works, but if I watched it an ep at a time, I don’t think I would’ve kept up with it since the eps were AN HOUR AND A HALF. That’s just not reasonable for a week night

Now spoiler time.

They said will’s sexuality was going to be talked about, it wasn’t. it was just pure gay pinning and the poor boy being in love with his straight friend. diddn’t have high hopes for willxmike, but I at least thought will say he’s gay. but NO

The max thing, i kinda get. But like what killed her? her eyes weren’t a bloody mess and her neck wasn’t snapped, WHAT KILLED HER? I did like the focus on max and el’s friendship, & how it links into how eleven increases her powers, & I get that she restarted max’s heart. But are they going to get into the theological shit of ‘max’s spirit’ needs to be returned to her body to wake up???

Now eddie’s death. litterally the same thing happened to steve, he should be fine. The timing doesn’t make sense, dustin literally jumped back into the upside down as quickly as he could. and are you telling me he didn’t jump on a bike to get to eddie faster??? that kid does not understand caution, I know he fucked up his ankle/foot, but like would that really stop him? Also eddie’s death felt cheap, like yay he didn’t run, but it’s not a payoff if he dies as a consequence of not running. Also dustin always saw him as a hero, so what is this? And eddie not getting recognized as innocent by hawkins is some bullshit.

(I understand they’re playing into the paranoia, but this feels half-assed and unfinished, no comeuppance, even the death of the captain of the basketball team, only lucas knows how he went, and only lucas saw him for the raging lunatic that he was, so the town’s gonna continue to idolize him)

Not saying I would’ve wanted this to happen, but steve was right there. he had his whole bit about wanting a big family and keeping hope and looking forward to the future despite all the shit. he’s right there. Steve dying for nancy, robin, or dustin (eddie at a push) would feel sincere & not half-asses. Also it’s a tv show about a girl with powers, everyone could live, there’s nothing stopping that, it felt like they were waiting for the kiddlets to grow up to finally kill off some characters, if they wanted ‘realistic’ someone from the main cast other than joyce’s boyfriend would’ve died s2 with the demodog/tunnels.

I read some other posts about how half the stuff they said would be addressed this season wasn’t and how a bunch of promo shots and characters seen bts just weren’t included. I’m assuming they started filming s5 at the same time & that netflix is doing the thing where the next season comes out in like 6 months. (which feels like bullshit for the post-production folks).

What you should know

✧ Puzzle toy functions as 'nesting blocks'. Since toddlers can sit on all 4 sides of 'nesting blocks', clippings between the puzzle pieces and the toddler may occur

✧ Toddlers hold the block from 'nesting blocks' in their hands while playing with the puzzle toy. if you don't want the block to appear, I recommend the mod here by @aroundthesims 💙

Idk something I love about dunmeshi is that the Original Touden party has like. Perfect stereotypical five six man band:

Leader - Laios

Lancer - Shuro

Big Guy - Namari

Smart Guy - Marcille

Heart - Falin

Sixth Ranger - Chilchuck

But then when Falin gets eaten and Shuro & Namari dip, they're missing all these key components. Senshi joins and it refigures into:

Leader(?) - Laios

Lancer - Marcille

Big Guy(?) - Senshi

Smart Guy(?) - Chilchuck

But like. These roles don't even fit. Laios is the leader of the party, sure, but really we barely see him fulfil that role. Usually he's doing Smart Guy things and info dumping about basilisks at opportune moments.

Senshi is big, I guess, but he's never presented as an impressive fighter really. He actually works better as a new Heart because he's caring for the group's emotional and physical needs, and since he's new he can more easily form individual new bonds with each other member. But Laios and Marcille are still forcing Falin into the Heart role in absentia.

Chilchuck is what even? He is smart and really excels at his job, but it feels weird to drag him into something specific. Even so, you can't leave him as Sixth Ranger because we're down to four.

Marcille actually does work great as Lancer but only if you do accept Laios as Leader. Which you know. I don't really.

And obviously these feel awkward because they're tropes I'm trying to prescribe onto fleshed out, well written characters. But that's kind of the point because these tropes DO fit well onto the original Touden party. And that party was (on a technical level) super impressive and should have worked really well. But they couldn't defeat the red dragon and yet V2 with like half the members could??

And I like that! Underdogs story or whatever, but the cleanest, most optimized team couldn't achieve what our squad could with some fish man eggs and frog skin. When they get to escape their little boxes they actually really excel in their weird ways. They're not just offsetting the norm of the dungeon in the narrative, but also breaking the mold on character dynamic levels too.

The Eras Tour is sartorial feat that distills Taylor’s style timeline, spanning an almost two decade career, into a three hour supercut of looks.

Her outfits strike an incredibly fine balance between familiar but fresh. Full of meta references to her most iconic past looks but presented in higher octane, sparklier, present-day packaging.

Her decision to work with fashion brands (and not her typical costume designers) has resulted in her strongest stage fashion offering yet.

My faves include V2 of the Etro evermore gown (equal parts “willow” witch and “‘tis the damn season” holiday tinsel), the only reputation outfit we need by Roberto Cavalli (because why improve upon perfection?), the spangly and "Midnight Rain" worthy Midnights bodysuit by Oscar de la Renta, and her TSS Green outfits from the folklore and 1989 sections because, well, greeeeen. 💚

Vin Jin x Reader: Cheonliang Jacket v2

G/N but F leaning. Let's pretend Vin has a spare and you are given a present.

It smells musty. Faintly of mothballs. Like it has been shoved into a forgotten corner of the closet somewhere.

How it looks though, is a different thing entirely.

Pristine. Perfect.

You hold up the jacket. Study the stripes along the shoulder and arms. Peeks of red in the design. Cheonliang written boldly down the right side and on the back.

Hugging the jacket protectively to your body and peering at Vin with puppy eyes, you ask, "Really?"

He averts your gaze, ignores the heat rising from his collar and gives you a nonchalant shrug.

Mary sighs, considers slapping him upside the head. Settles on a side eye instead and responds for him with a nod.

"Oh my god!"

"Vin insisted." The man in question pretends he's not a part of this conversation. That Mary, that bitch, isn't airing all his cringiness for you to hear.

"Really?"

"Yeah he knew he had a spare jacket somewhere and was digging around for it for ages." The attempt to ignore the conversation isn't working. Beneath those glasses, Vin is glaring daggers at her.

"Aww Vin..."

"He threatened to take mine off me if I didn't help."

You opt to bury your face in the jacket to hide your blush, touched by how sweet this gesture is. Beneath the mustiness, you think you catch faint whiffs of Vin's scent, woody and dark and spicy.

"Tore his room apart for days looking for it. It's adorable how much he loves you-"

He gives her a rough shove, cutting her off. "Shut it, hag!"

WHACK! The long awaited and very well deserved smack arrives, hitting Vin in the back of the head.

He tries to grab Mary into a headlock, but she pips him to the post and he is the one trapped and floundering. It devolves into a mess of squabbles and pinches (courtesy of Mary) and squeals (courtesy of Vin). Bickering and swearing, insults and slander. The usual.

You ignore them, too captivated with your honorary jacket. Decide there's no time like the present and shrug it on, checking the size and fit.

It's oversized. The length easily reaches your thighs and sleeves cover your hands. It's cosy, comfortable. Like having Vin wrapped around you all the time.

"It looks good on you!" Mary grins, untangling herself from Vin.

Vin coughs out an agreement. It really does. Seeing you in his clothes always does funny things to him. What's more, the idea of this being a couple outfit makes him feel all mushy inside.

...Assuming Mary not also going to third wheel and wear hers at the same time, completely ruining the vibe and his plans. He gives Mary another dirty look at this.

"Thank you guys!"

"Don't thank her, it's my spare jacket."

"Well I appreciate Mary anyway for helping and smacking you-" Mary gives you a smirk and a salute, "-And thank you for the jacket."

You reach up on your toes, and press a kiss to Vin's cheek.

He pretends it's embarrassing, you slobbering all over him in public, that he only allows it because you like it. 

Without you asking, he leans down for you anyway. Angles his head so you miss his cheek, and graze his lips instead.
