I can't stop thinking about vampire hunter Neil.

Neil, who is both Wesninski and Hatford, two of the oldest vampire hunting clans to still exist. Neil, who was taught the art of the hunt by his mother, but the only thing he learned from his father was brutality and fear.

Neil, whose father turned traitor and gave himself to the Moriyama coven, becoming a vampire in pursuit of power. Neil, who was going to be turned too, whose mother took him and ran before that could happen

Neil, who's never stopped moving. never stayed in one place too long, never settled anywhere. Who's killed more vampires and thralls than he can count, most of whom were acting on his father's orders. Neil, who sleeps with a stake under his pillow and keeps silver bullets in the chamber.

Neil, whose bullets are blessed and who carries holy water, who believes in God and hates Him, blames Him, but will use whatever tools are at his disposal to take down a vampire, faith and belief be damned.

Neil, whose mother kept him alive until she was bitten, whose mother ordered him to kill her before she turned. Neil, who was taught to trust no one, vampire or human. Neil, who couldn't bring himself to keep running after Mary was gone, who wanted nothing more than to stand still for once, just to see what it was like.

Neil, who met a vampire that offered him protection, whose old friend convinced him to stay. Neil, who fits right in with this coven of misfits, this family. Neil, who realizes that not all vampires are monsters, who knows that humans can be monsters too.

Neil, who sees how Andrew takes people in, how he keeps them safe and shields them, and wonders who is shielding you? Neil, who sees what no one else does, who understands how terrified Andrew is of being left behind.

Neil, who shares his knowledge of hunting vampires, bit by bit, teaching his new family how to defend themselves. Neil, who finally has a place, a home. Who is, for the first time in his life, happy.

Neil, who risks everything to protect his family. Neil, who hands himself over to Riko, knowing he'll be turned and enslaved for eternity, that he won't be able to escape like Kevin did. Neil, who by some miracle, escapes anyway, with Riko dead and his humanity still intact.

Neil, who gives Andrew his heart and his blood and everything he has, and Andrew giving his in return. Neil, who will never become a vampire but will stay with Andrew forever, or for however long forever lasts.

'What's wrong, Drew?'

Even without hearing an answer, Neil could tell that Andrew was not doing okay.

'Is it time?' Neil continued, not taking his eyes off Andrew, patiently waiting for a reaction. And soon enough, there it was.

Andrew's fingers twitched, dropping the book he had been reading for the past hour. His eyes turned red, for only a second, but enough for Neil to get his answer.

He came close to Andrew, who was sitting on the floor, supposedly determined to ignore Neil for as long as possible, keeping a bored expression on his face.

'You have to, Drew.' Neil said, as he sat right in front of him, leaning in so that their faces were mere centimeters apart.

He knew how hard it was for him, not wanting to feed on the human blood. He would go on for days without it, no matter how tormenting it was for him.

'Drew,' Neil whispered, once again, and this time Andrew was on the move, he reached for Neil's hand but froze in place the second 'No' left Neil's mouth.

He started to move away but was stopped by Neil who was now crawling onto his lap, exposing his neck to him.

'Do it properly.' Neil murmured, letting his eyes fall shut.

Andrew dropped a small kiss on Neil's neck before sinking his teeth deep into it.

A sigh left Neil's lips, his fingers trailing to rest on Andrew's back. Until, eventually, they found their way into Andrew's hair and started pulling on the soft, blond strands.

Andrew was desperate, holding onto the front of Neil's shirt tightly with one hand, as his other one held Neil's jaw in place, keeping his head turned. He continued to drink, and the pain started to subside.

From time to time he would stop to give Neil's neck a long, slow lick, ghosting a kiss over the bruised skin here and there.

His head was spinning when he finally pulled away to look up at Neil's glistering eyes.

Neil bit down on his lip harshly, until he could feel blood dripping down his neck. Andrew followed each drop with hungry eyes before Neil leaned in, capturing his lips in a slow kiss.

This time Andrew's hands found their place on Neil's waist, squeezing his sides as he pulled him even closer. Small gasps leaving their mouths as the kiss became harsher, all teeth, blood, and bruised lips.

When they pulled away, they were both covered in red, their heavy breaths filling the room. Neil closed his eyes as he brought their foreheads together, wrapping his arms tightly around Andrew.

''That was amazing,'' Neil mumbled, planting his chin on top of Andrew's head.

Andrew let out a sound of disapproval, which did not fool Neil for a second, given that he was already nuzzling his face into Neil's neck.

''Shut the fuck up, Neil. Go to sleep.''

Okay so I’m reading this vampire/werewolf storming the the vampire looks at the wolf and says “start barking, Fido”. it is the best line and all I can think of is Andreil because I’m obsessed with them and Andrew being a vamp saying that to Neil it’s just gold and I need someone to write this!

there are two wolves inside of me:

one of them obsessing over vampire!Andrew. turned against his will. who spends so long being hungry he's not sure he's capable of feeling anything else. who's life has always been about restraint and control.

whispering if I don't stop when you tell me to, as he presses a blade into Neil's hand. I won't be like them. I won't let you be me. Neil warm and real and slick with sweat beneath his palms as Andrew feeds. Neil's tongue of silver striking like flint against Andrew's fangs.

who will never quite come to peace with the fact his survival is conditional on him taking. but it makes it easier when you have someone beneath you who is so willing to give.

the other obsessing over vampire!neil. a natural born vampire. his human mother leaving a string of bodies trailing them. who can't watch Neil feed because it reminds her too much of him, but knows it's the only way to keep him alive.

Neil having such power and strength, and surrendering this to Andrew. Andrew's blood is a gift he gives rather than something precious Neil takes. I don't do anything I don't want to, he mutters with Neil's mouth lingering over the meat of his shoulder. Your bark is worse than your bite anyways.

the foxes willingly offering themselves to Neil after he's been blood-starved in Baltimore. you're one of us, let us take care of you. Neil on the couch biting into Matt's bicep as they watch an Exy re-run. Aaron leaving an anatomy textbook open to a diagram of arteries and veins.

im reading a Vampire Andrew x Blood Donor Neil fic called Last Resort by Lyndis on ao3 and i am ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!!

So, it goes like this:

Neil’s a vampire, and he’s the kind of vampire who’s never really tried human blood taken from the person alive.

He buys it, it’s illegal but let’s be real, at this point? It’s hard to find any legal thing he ever did.

But then he meets Andrew, who took his own mother’s blood and killed her next. Never got caught, people only suspect.

And they befriend. Andrew tells him what it feels like, but he had so much hatred for his mother he can’t tell if it tastes good or not. He said it tastes like shit and would never try it again.

Neil, on the other side, feels his mouth dry whenever he looks at Andrew’s neck. Whenever he feels his smell. He has no idea why.

“Can I try it with you?”

The question comes out of nowhere, and he gets Andrew to finally show some emotion on his face. It looks like he’s blushing.

“What?”

“I want to try. Want to know what it feels like. Can I?”

Imagine that. Neil’s fangs on his neck, his hands holding his face, his breath, his tongue.

“Yes.”

i caNNOT stop thinking about aftg vampire AU. yesterday i read one that was SO GOODD!!! i loved how the author translated andrew's personality and characteristics into a vampire version of himself. everytime andrew and neil say or do anything im like. yeah. he WOULD say that.
