Shit. Imagine how Geo was feeling when the Wolf Mask Warriors randomly got the power to break his fusion, something only he should be able to do.

Also that's kind of terrifying to think that the wolf mask warriors can just neutralize elemental powers like that as if they have Vengestone on them all because of the gong being hit.

(Especially since things like Fire and Heat are shown to not have any effect on them either after the Gong is hit, as shown in Episode 2)

Last episode for today, A Lesson in Anger.

Someone's going to learn something, but who will it be? Garmadon? Harumi? Lloyd? Christofern?

I can really see Christofern just going after everyone with his itty bitty roots. Truly, something to be frightened of. lol

No, I'm thinking it's Lloyd.

He always tries to be so in control of his own emotions, that he deserves to go a little feral and tear some Vengestone warriors to bits and pieces.

I'm thinking he's going to go Oni or at least partially in this episode. He's not going to fully be in control of himself. This is going to be something he needs to learn how to do. And quickly.

Or maybe it is Garmadon who needs a lesson in anger. He did lose his temper over Christofern's pot breaking.

Anyway, on to the episode!

Given how many Ninjago villains were just lying in wait this whole time, it really makes you wonder what the heck they were thinking when previous villains revealed their endgame, if they had any plans for how to deal with it if the ninja couldn't, etc. What did Krux think when the mother of his Vermillion hordes showed up in his city; Did he think the Great Devourer sensed her children and was looking for them?

What was his thought process when her venom reawakened the Stone Warrior exhibit, when an entire Stone Army wreaked havoc on the city... And then returned to do so a second time, with most people being infected by Dark Matter? When he saw a giant demonic dragon on the horizon, did Krux panic and wonder if his Vermillion could handle the Overlord and his indestructible army, or was his plan to just lay low, wait for the return of Acronix and the other Time Blades, and then use Iron Doom to prevent all of this from happening? And when Cyrus Borg revamped all of Ninjago City with his technology, Krux must've been relieved when he undid those changes later on.

The Island of Darkness rising from the ocean, realistically, must've displaced an enormous amount of water, and thus had a huge impact on the global ecosystem. I think it would've been cool to have this mentioned by Kalmaar during Seabound; Maybe he points to this as an example of how the land dwellers continue to disrupt their world and steal from it, lifting the ocean floor to the arid surface and suffocating countless creatures?

We sort of have an idea for what Harumi was thinking when the Overlord attacked, twice; Her reaction to him is horror, and she initially refuses to work with the embodiment of evil. So she must've been scared again, and hoping Garmadon would stop the Overlord... Did she see and recognize Garmadon's body, mutated by the Overlord's possession?

When the Serpentine began to return, one tribe at a time, was Chen concerned about the Anacondrai coming back, and them getting in the way of his plan to take over Ninjago with his impostor Anacondrai? Was there relief when it became apparent that Pythor was the only survivor? What did he plan to do about the Great Devourer, or Dark Matter suddenly infecting entire swathes of the population?

I imagine the Overlord wasn't too concerned with Wojira's flooding of Ninjago City; If Kalmaar succeeded, he'd kill the ninja, the only ones who could stop him. We know Water and Wind come from Wojira, and Nya is susceptible to Vengestone; So would the Overlord's Vengestone army be enough to disable Wojira's powers? Could she be crystalized? Given that the Overlord is the embodiment of all darkness, evil, and hatred, did he not mind at all if some other villain got close to taking over the world, since it'd just make him stronger, and spreading this sort of despair was already his MO?

Emperor of Ninjago (3)

• Things changed for the rebellion and the Ninjas after facing a fierce battle in one of the work camps of a town that had been subdued by Garmadon's soldiers, Skeletons, Stone Warriors and some Serpentine were there and fought against the rebel army of the Ninjas. The worst part was that Garmadon was also there, the Ninjas believed that they could confront Emperor Garmadon once and for all to weaken the power of the Overlord, however, they were ambushed by a trap that Garmadon had prepared, since the field of work was bombed by several mines that the Stone Army had placed.

• Garmadon's army ended up being the winning side this time, but while the rebels retreated Kai stayed at the front to entertain the Stone Army while his friends and the other rebels and slaves escaped to go somewhere sure. Garmadon ordered another explosion and Kai was seriously injured, luckily the other ninjas and the rebels managed to successfully escape from the scene, but leaving Kai behind.

• Garmadon managed to find Kai in poor condition and saw that he had the Fire Sword, without thinking twice Garmadon ordered his soldiers to take Kai to the palace, where he would be sent to the cells with the other prisoners of war and the Sword of Fire would be placed in a hidden place made by Garmadon, a place where not even the Overlord would know existed.

• When Garmadon captured Kai he was free of the Overlord's influence, but was still under the control of the Great Devourer's poison, but at least in his good judgment Garmadon avoided killing Kai and hiding the Fire Sword, he even reported that it sword was lost on the battlefield and as a distraction to the Overlord, Garmadon ordered his soldiers to conduct a search for the Golden Weapon, but in the end many concluded that the Fire Sword was recovered by the rebels, although this has not yet been confirmed, Not even the Overlord was sure of that news.

• Obviously Garmadon hid Kai's true identity and only mentioned that he was just another rebel captured on the battlefield, the Overlord did not give it importance and only ordered Garmadon as usual, to interrogate him until he revealed location the Wu rebel base, but this time Garmadon stopped his soldiers from interrogating Kai and left alone in his cell, and all behind the Overlord's back.

• The rebels and the Ninjas mourned the death of Kai, the Red Ninja, since despite not finding his body, it was very likely that Kai died during the explosion that Garmadon released on the battlefield. Wu felt devastated, like Ray, Maya and Nya, they had not even recovered the Fire Sword, and without it there would be no way to choose a new heir of the element of fire. Wu ordered a search for the Fire Sword since it had not been announced that Garmadon or anyone in his army had found it.

• The Resistance seemed to lose almost all hope when they learned that the Red Ninja had died in combat and that the Fire Sword had been lost, since without one of the Golden Weapons there would be no way to discover who the Green Ninja would be, however , Wu and the other Ninjas managed to keep their army of rebels united so that their fight could continue, in addition, Nya became her brother's temporary replacement while Wu discovered who could inherit Kai's element and his role as the new Red Ninja.

• Kai ended up being locked up in Garmadon's cells for several days, he was still injured and the cell guards mocked him and tortured him behind Emperor Garmadon's back just for his entertainment, Kai did not mention a single word in all this time, Even though he was seriously injured, he did not dare to reveal the location of his friends.

• When Garmadon thought things through, being free of the poison and the Overlord, he ordered that Kai be brought before him to dictate his destiny, when Kai was brought before Garmadon, now being alone, Garmadon placed special Vengestone bracelets on him to hide his elemental powers, Garmadon offered Kai a deal, and if he did his job well he would leave him still living in the palace, but he would be guarded by several guards so that he would not do anything I suspect, but he would be released during the night. Kai accepted Garmadon's deal since this way he could get information inside the palace, in addition, no one would know that he was the Red Ninja, Master of Fire.

• And since Garmadon did not confirm to Kai that he had the Fire Sword, Kai assumed that his friends had recovered the Golden Weapon and took it to the base with Wu, the only thing Kai found out was that everyone thought that He had died in combat, but since no one knew that he was the Red Ninja, Kai found it strange that Garmadon did not reveal his true identity to anyone, but at least Kai could use that news to his advantage, he knew that so the people of the palace they would no longer suspect him.

• Garmadon assigned Kai to be the new personal guard of his son, Prince Lloyd, news that surprised Kai since he believed that Empress Misako had died a long time ago, Garmadon told Kai that Misako died in childbirth and Lloyd has since been raised by servants, but Garmadon wished for someone to always stay at Lloyd's side since many servants and guardians did not have time to be at Lloyd's side all the time to take care of him.

• With no other option Kai accepted the job, but as Garmadon had said, Kai would be guarded by some guards during the day while Lloyd did his activities, at night he would not be guarded, but would be sent to his cell, for moment, Kai was healed of his wounds and given new servant clothes.

• Kai found Emperor Garmadon's behavior strange, he thought he would be executed at the beginning, but if he wanted to be free one day to return to the rebel base of Wu and with his friends, he had to get all the information necessary to stop. Additionally, he had to closely monitor Garmadon's behavior, as Kai knew there was something strange about the emperor.

• Kai found out that Prince Lloyd had turned 5 a few weeks ago, and Kai was only 17 years old. Kai also discovered that Lloyd was a rather shy and innocent child, and heard from the guards and servants that Lloyd has never left the palace, he was only allowed to go out to the courtyard and some areas of the forest near the palace while being accompanied by servants and guards. , Kai imagined that the young prince was treated more like a prisoner in his own home than being treated like a true prince.

• Lloyd felt shy about Kai, he found it somewhat scary to meet new people, this was because the tutors and some servants always seemed to be serious and strict when being with him, Lloyd ended up being afraid when meeting someone new in the palace, since he believed he would be just as cruel to him. Since many servants believed that Lloyd should follow in his father's footsteps when he became the new emperor of Ninjago.

• But Kai showed himself to be patient and kind to Lloyd, in the first days Kai only showed himself to be a companion for the prince, but in a short time Kai gained Lloyd's trust. Kai accompanied Lloyd everywhere, and while he did that, he began to memorize all the hallways, entrances and exits of the palace. But Kai also discovered that Lloyd was prohibited from going to several places within the palace, which would hinder his plans to explore the palace further.

• When he was sent to his cell Kai was still being harassed by some guards, but over time they left him alone when they discovered that Kai was Prince Lloyd's favorite. Furthermore, Garmadon strictly ordered that Kai be left alone so that he could better care for Lloyd.

• Since Lloyd had no idea what his father was doing, Kai thought it best that the young prince still be left alone about his father's horrible actions towards the city of Ninjago and other kingdoms. Kai also ended up becoming Lloyd's playmate, despite being older, Kai ended up agreeing to play several games with Lloyd, and discovered that Lloyd's favorite toy was a stuffed green dragon that Garmadon had given him as a gift.

• Kai was given several things to entertain himself while he was locked in his cell, in several notes Kai managed to write about all the blind spots inside the palace, as well as the rooms he went to or parts of the palace courtyard, also when the guards changed shifts and where their assigned places were to mount surveillance. He hid his notes so that no guard would discover them, he even eavesdropped on everything the servants and guards said, he thought that this way he could discover new valuable information.

• Over time Lloyd became more dependent on Kai, but secretly Kai taught him ways so that the prince could do other things on his own without having to ask others for help. Kai began to feel affection for the prince, seeing him as his younger brother, and had the idea that if he raised Lloyd Ninjago he could have new hope in the future by having a better ruler.

• So time passed and Kai and Lloyd's relationship grew stronger and stronger, but even so Kai did not dare to reveal to Lloyd about his past or some things that his father, Emperor Garmadon, did. Kai still didn't find out where the Overlord was but at least over time he continued to gather more information about the activities of Garmadon and his army.

• Kai also discovered that there are times when Garmadon was free from the influence of the poison of the Great Devourer and the Overlord, those lucid moments of Garmadon were when Kai was summoned to the royal room where Garmadon secretly revealed to him the locations where he could obtain better information about the palace and the Overlord. And Kai began to see that Garmadon did not want to be the feared Emperor Garmadon, upon discovering that he was possessed and forced to do all those horrible things, Kai understood that the Overlord was the true monster in wanting Ninajgo under his control.

• Kai even wanted to find out a way to free Garmadon from the control of the Overlord and the poison of the Great Devourer, and he also noticed how much Garmadon loved Lloyd, even though Lloyd and Garmadon didn't see each other much, he noticed by his actions and conversations that Garmadon truly loved Lloyd.

Come Dragons Rising season 2 Kai is gonna get stuck in the Vengestone Realm, and he has to fight off a horde of Wolf Warriors and this lasts for 5 episodes, every time we cut back to him he's saying something about how he always has to lose his powers some way or the other.

He reunites with the other ninja, but there are still tiny fragments of Vengestone in his hair, so only HIS powers aren't working. Everyone else got it just peachy tho!

... followed by Pythor saving Skales from being turned into a crystal zombie by messing up the aim of an opportunistic Vengestone Warrior and telling Skales to run (or slither in this case). Pythor then beats said opportunistic Vengestone Warrior into dust in an uncontrollable rage.

Ok so I changed the ending a little bit but bro still turns to dust and I’m kinda bad at drawing serpentine and the ending gets rushed but yeah here you go :3

I'm worried about Cole this season. I mean, in the trailer he's passed out + the vision in the FSM tomb place + the theme of the fear/future reflections coming true in the discovery club + we've already seen Cole falling into oblivion and having a near-death experience in march of the oni, and also day of the departed when he almost disappeared plus forgotten bc he's a ghost and we KNOW how Ninjago is like with parallels when someone dies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, the reflections in the tomb of the FSM might not apply to the ninja unlike the mirror (and also the fact that there is a fan theory that the FSM tomb reflections only show the most likely future bc Cole was a ghost back then) but this still gives me possibilities on what's going to happen in Crystalized and it's very worrying.

Okay, let's move on to another concerning topic. I don't know where Aspheera's og staff went (the one with the black hilt) but I'm pretty sure the ninja still have it somewhere in the secret base, unless one of the new ninja took it but still that little staff has a LOAD of elemental power stored in there, and if it's enough to black out the entirety of Ninjago city(which I think was usually called the capital of Ninjago or the biggest city in Ninjago???) then that staff is really important, and if it, I don't know, manages to get into the wrong hands, then Ninjago has a storm coming for them(literally)

If the staff is still in the ninja secret base then one of the council of the crystal king members (I'll do HFAVPM gang for short) have a chance to find the staff and keep it INCLUDING the golden weapons. If the staff is contained by the new ninja somewhere, then HFAVPM gang could easily locate, infiltrate and steal the staff. The ninja are in a lose-lose situation with the staff, the fate of Ninjago, and all the problems that they have rn.

Also I'm really skeptical about Garmadon's plan and how he says that only oni can defeat other oni bc can't they just solve this with creation??? We saw the march of oni and a tornado of creation literally wiped all of them so why can't they do this to the overlord too?? Of course they still have the HFAVMP gang to take care of + the vengestone warriors but vengestone doesn't affect spinjitzu (i think), and if they remove HFAVMP gang's powerful leader then in theory, all the crystal power that the overlord gave them would be gone and the vengestone warriors would be gone too (since I'm pretty sure the only thing powering them is the crystals) so that would just kill two birds with one stone and make them successfully weaker and easier to capture. And didn't the FSM try to defeat the overlord with destruction too and that CLEARLY didn't work?? This plan isn't fool-proof, really..I think the ninja should stop listening to Garmadon after what happened with the realm crystal.

In conclusion, ninjago is doomed(again)

I'm gonna rewrite certain part of ninjago (randomly) as the prequel to this au. By i mean random, it includes the order of the story(sorry if the order is confusing)

Ninjago Au rewrite, Rise of Dragon Form

When the ninjas and the remaining citizens was being surrounded by the vengestone army, all hope was lost. Suddenly, a gaint splash of water appear and flushed a whole road of the vengestone warriors away.

"It's the merlopian and the keepers", Zane

"And NYA!", Jay

"Starting without me?", Said Nya

"Nya what are you doing! you could lose your form by any time outside of the ocean", Kai

"Then I'll just come back", Nya

Out of nowhere Chompy and a while army of shintaro warriors appear and strikes onto the vengestone warriors, Vania and the upply jump off Chompy's back and join the fight.

"You guys came!", Cole

"I always kept my promise", Vania

Multiple nearby manhole cover suddenly open, It was the serpentine! Not just that, Unagami and his visor came to the aid along many friends the ninjas made along the way.

"to achieve dragon form all heart must unite and perform a selfless act to save the realm...This is it guys! We must attempt dragon form again", Zane

"You ready guy?", Cole

"I'm ready than I've ever been", Kai

As the ninjas jump up everyone who isn't crystallized starts glowing, once they kick back golden orbs starting to appear(the same orbs that appear after the overlord stole Lloyd's golden power), when they turn around the orbs float toward the ninjas and spin along when they are spinning creating a giant semi tornado around everyone. It was most beautiful thing that everyone have seen.

The ninjas have achieved their dragon form and everyone have receive a buff like how the overlord gifted the crystal council part of his power.

Chapter one

Kai woke up suddenly, confused. *What the?* He looked around, suddenly realizing where he was. “Oh crap!” He scrambled out of his vehicle and onto the ground. “Cole!”

He banged on the glass of Cole’s vehicle, but the black ninja didn’t respond. He tried to lift the top, but failed. *Shit shit shit.*

He glanced around nervously, and to his luck, there were no Vengestone Warriors. Kai tried again to open the top of Cole’s vehicle, and this time, he succeeded.

“Cole!” “Wha?” Cole’s eyes flickered open — no, /eye/.

“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Kai fell backwards, absolutely terrified. Cole’s left eye had been completely covered by crystal shards. How had Kai not seen it before? He pulled himself back up to the vehicle, staring in shock and horror at his friend.

Not only had the crystals taken over Cole’s eye, but they were protruding from his head and shoulders. Kai shuddered. He reached in, pulling Cole out of the vehicle, making sure not to touch the crystals.

“Cole? Can you hear me?” He shook him gently. “Are you okay?” *Please don’t say you’re an evil crystal zombie now, please don’t.* Cole’s eye flickered open once again. “K-Kai? What happened? Did we win?” Kai sighed with relief.

“You’re okay.” The black ninja narrowed his eye. “What do you mean ‘you’re okay’, why wouldn’t I be okay?” He was becoming annoyed now. “I wake up after crashing, and you don’t even bother telling me what the hell happened?!” Kai shrunk back. *The fuck?* Cole being angry wasn’t anything new, but this? What the /hell/ was this?

Kai took a step back away from who he thought was his friend. “What’s wrong with you?” He retorted, defending himself. “Why are you so upset? I just saved you!” Cole bared his teeth at him. “Sure you did, you’re always trying to be the best, huh?”

Kai frowned. “That was years ago, Cole! I thought you guys were over that.” Now he was /really/ getting worried. “I don’t think you’re okay.” “OKAY?!” Cole growled. “When has ANYTHING been okay?” He looked around. “Where’s Jay?” Kai definitely wasn’t expecting the question. “Um, I don’t know? I honestly wasn’t expecting you to care. . . .”

“Why wouldn’t I?” *Why is Cole acting so out of character?* Then Kai realized. *No, he’s not being out of character, he’s being /exaggerated/.* “I think we should take you to PIXAL.” Kai told him. “She’d probably know what to do about,” he gestured to his face, “you know.”

Cole narrowed his eyes. Instead of answering, he knelt down to Kai’s level, staring into his eyes. Kai stared back, frozen in place by that ghostly gaze. Even if he couldn’t see his left eye, the eye that held that ghostly purple orb, Cole’s gaze was terrifying.

His eye turned ghostly green, which Kai expected, but wasn’t ready for. /no one/ would ever be ready for it. Green was usually associated with Lloyd, Kai’s beloved little brother. But this - this green was associated with /death/.

Kai shook himself. *Not know, Kai. We’re in the middle of another apocalypse.* He glanced around, and realized Cole had left. “Oh god dammit.”
