Hey.
Hey, guess what.
Shapeshifters is coming back to Pride.
After years away, we will be at Pride Vermont Festival in Burlington on Sunday, September 10th
AND
Keene Pride in Keene, NH on Sunday, September 17th!!!
Come to our tent and browse binders in the biggest size range you've ever seen! Duck into the changing tent and try one on, or two, or five! Pick out a binder in a print you never knew existed and take it home the very same day!
These are the ONLY public events we'll be at all year, so come catch us if you can. It's gonna be so good. It might be the last chance you ever have to get fitted by me, ever.

happy pride to my husband who is straight but bought us these flannel shorts

just goes to show that while you can stay straight when you upgrade from bi wife energy to trans spouse energy, you cannot escape the cultural queerness. perhaps we will hold a ceremony to bestow upon him the title of honorary bear.

Your personal discomfort does not = something is inherently bad or unneeded. Something being necessary and needed does not invalidate your personal discomfort.
That’s it. That’s the post

One cool thing about living in Vermont is that sometimes you get reminded that you live in the same state as one of the most important queer icons of our lifetime when you find out about a Pride event an hour away with Alison Bechdel as their keynote speaker.
If you're going to be in the White River Junction area in July, Alison Bechdel's going to be at WRJ Pride speaking about book bans. Plus a TON of other cool stuff, including giving out free books at every event???? Apparently a local drag story hour was cut short because of a bomb threat (a WILD thing up here) and they responded by making books their entire theme this year, including a drag story hour they're calling "FINISH THE BOOK".
If you want to help them out, they're currently raising funds to purchase books on GoFundMe, and as of this post they're at $320 of a $5,000 goal!

My new blog will be called “Babbling and Blogging with Bob”. I’m a newbie at this, so be kind and patient at least for now.
I’m think I’m addicted to Letterboxd. Why? Because I love movies. Once I found this film nerd community, I knew I was with my peeps.
Once, I get used to doing this, I hope to jot down my random thoughts and feelings and beliefs.

Welcome dear June!
June arrived bringing pops of yellow and pink and purple and loads of green to shift our view away from the black and gray of all our yesterdays. June brings plenty to celebrate, in all its gaiety. And most wonderfully, no one can take away the natural joy one feels during this spirited month, regardless of what they plan to cancel. This June grab on to the waves of color rippling every which way…

but I’m back from my cousin’s wedding and aside from the dysphoria of having to wear a dress I actually survived

Does anyone happen to know of any good trans friendly doctors in Vermont ? I need a new primary and a gyno mostly and I just don’t feel comfortable with the office I’ve been going to anymore, especially now that I’m old enough to kind of need the gynecology aspect of it. Also if you live in Vermont can we kiss…. Lol jk. I know nobody even knows what Vermont is.
