The grand continuation of the Island reimagining.

I wanted to go all out and extend the cast to a solid 24, but there are only 45 or so other contestants (and Blaineley, but her specific case is kinda hard to replicate). There is one character I could put in a supporting role and add back in later but…

Anywho, Revenge, Pahkitew, and the reboot have their casts split between them across two seasons. Revenge stays together alongside two OCs and nine PI and I2 contestants, all undetermined. With that out of the way:

The Friendship Finale F’trio. Aside from Cameron’s bead eyes it’s all a matter of stylization instead of an outright redesign, although Zoey’s sporting a neat tattoo.

Most of Mikey’s alters are a little more down to earth in their characterization, seeing as they all would’ve had to manifest in several very different parts of the world to exist as they do. Mal instead goes from relatively normal to halfway between Izzy and Scary on the energy scale. Mike himself dials up his awkwardness.

Zoey and Cam are more or less the same, although their mutual lack of social skills are played up.

These three don’t really need changing either, although between Heather’s alliance growing from three to five in the Island concept and the canon reboot having three full time antagonists, I’m looking into Jo being a more active villain.

Aaaand this is the point I kinda got experimental with the redesigns. Lightning’s bead eyes, B’s neck, and whatever I did with Scott’s face are all one thing, it’s mostly Dawn and how I did to her what I did to Cody.

It’s funny how the eyes that canon Staci has make her look high all the time. Remember, TDRI’s getting a full length so Staci gets fleshed out a bit more before she inevitably gets Zeked. Again, Dakota and Sam need relatively little changing, but Dakota at least won’t be mutated this time.

Wally Rosette is a 15-year-old kid who was chosen (and then kidnapped) to attend the Elite Villainous International Learning facility. This position, however, is solely because his parents were world-famous villains. Wally himself has no interest in the business, and is often described as the sweetest person any of the cast has ever met. He spends most of his time in the background, helping out faculty and students with their homework or various tasks, and only ever becoming relevant when homework *is* the plot of the week. Wally is just a kind kid who knows better than to get involved in the plot and loves his friends so so so so so so so fucking much it's unreal

Despite the fact all he desires to be is just some guy the universe keeps trying to make him more than some guy. He's supposed to be a hero, a prince, but he keeps running from the idea of it so much he ends up in another world entirely and all he wants is to go home and be normal, all he wants! He's not looking to save his sister, she can save herself she's strong. He just wants to go home :( that's all he really wants in life and he's getting really tired of the universe saying otherwise

THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE BABY BOY So Wally is a sweet kid, but because his parents were world-famous, he never really got a choice in who they raised him to be. This resulted in him having a BUNCH of self-worth issues that he tries to deal with on the side because he doesn't want to get his friends involved. He has two (2) major points in the plot (OUT OF 40 CHAPTERS)- one plot point where he ignores the main antagonist to get a boyfriend instead, and one where his entire arc finally culminates in "Wally Learns How To Say No To People." Outside of that, he does NOTHING regarding the main plot and is a C plot character at best. He is simply involved and there in the background because I love him so much and he is my precious little baby boy and yeah sure maybe I loved him so much I made 27 alternate universe versions of him that all have plot relevance in all my stuff but *this* wally is simply a boy and he is blue and he is lovely and I would kill and cry for him every day

Some rules and clarifications!

So, i think the criteria for this tournament needs to be shared, since its not only the classic bad end friends but we also got wayyy more characters here and i would like include your suggestions for the next year's poll.

Rules and basic criteria to count a character as a BEF

I decided to separate this characters in categories so its easier to explain:

"Main/secondary character is now evil!!!"

I think we all get this one. Certain characters end up on the other side of the battle, by choice or maybe bc he didn't have one!! Betraying their morals and everyone else. They maybe became crazy and/or are being mind controlled/ possessed

Now, this has its own subcategories to take account:

"Oh no! I got possesed or mind controlled!"

Very self-explanatory, character that is now controlled by the villain/antagonist.

"Multiversal typa shit"

CANONICAL AUs where the character has turned up evil/in an antagonistic role, by any reason

"TRAITOR!!!!"

When a character changes sides by "choice," they might still be themselves but felt betrayed/are being manipulated/they simply decided to betray the rest for their own benefit.

"Hell nah, they went feral"

Character that got turned into a monster/some kind of creature

"Evil alter ego takes control"

A second personality fully controls the character now.

"Ain't evil, just a failure"

As the tittle "bad end" suggests, we also include characters that ended up meeting a depressing fate without necessarily becoming evil

This one has some restrictions obviously:

The character needs some sort of appearance change

Something REALLY REALLY BAD has happened to them, a significant defeat.

DOPPLEGANGERS

To make it short, a character that is a replica/clone of the mc and their goal must be replaced/ defeat the original one. Its not necessarily required for them to be explicitly "evil," but if they wanna replace the og, they sure do count.

FANON BAD ENDINGS

There are lots of fanon bad endings on this AU, but the general rule is that it has to have some sort of logic on the character's original lore, or at least be based on a fate that is kinda plausible to happen. So we don't end up accepting every single Sans AU that comes across, lol.

These characters can't come out of nowhere. It needs a valid justification to make em accountable. "Theres a chapter where the villain tells the hero to become evil aswell bc they're their father, so in the canon says no, but the BEF is that he says yes." See? It was plausible and justified.

(There sure might be some exeptions to this rule such as Wirt and Marco, but at least Wirt making a deal with the beast doesnt come out of nowhere, technically talking Tom did curse marco on the original series, i know that their whole deal is too stretched but they have been here since the beginning so who are we to kick em off.)

NOT ALLOWED:

Creepypastas: we tryin to stick with canon here, you know? Creepypastas often just turn characters evil and into demons just because, thats not what we are going for!

Role swap AUs: Those definitely are not even considered. Since they're way too far from the actual canon.

Completely non-canon/very unlikely situations: "but he can get possessed by the villain!!" So as every other character, if its extremely rare for it to happen, don't even bring it up.

Robots (in a doppleganger sense): yeah obviously this rule doesn't talk about robot/android characters like murderdrones or something, but it's about robotic clones with not really their own conciousness Just, machines.

Fanon media in general: stuff like comics, fangames, or any fanmade product of any existing media with a bad ending will not be counted. No, you can't submit your fnf mods. im sorry

ABSOLUTELY NO OCS: no original characters, im being REALLY CLEAR WITH THIS ONE. No, your shadow2 the hedgehog original character do not steal cannot be counted.

Short stories, novels, or poems?

I find I end up with novelette/novella-length stories more often than not. I've written plenty of one-shots and short stories for prompt events, and I like doing that especially when I'm doing fanfiction or nameless characters. When I write with ocs though I tend to stretch stuff out and what had originally started as a one-shot or short story ends up becoming a novella.

Don't get me wrong I have plenty of WIPs planned out to be novels (like Trials of the Six), but the first drafts of The Hunter, the Myth and the Cure and The Legend of Orian Goldeneye were both novella-length and will probably stay that way or end up being longer. My Hero x Villain series ended up being a novelette, so basically I can't plan for how long a story's gonna be lol.

I've written a little bit of poetry (heck, I wrote one for The Legend of Orian Goldeneye that may or may not get cut), but it's not my favorite thing to write because I way overthink things. But when I do compose poetry I usually do limericks.

What genre do you prefer reading?

Fantasy, no contest. And within fantasy, usually High Fantasy with a lightcore or hopecore focus. I read some gritty stuff, but I find they tend to have elements I don't really like more than the ones I do.

Are you a planner or a write as I go kind of person?

Both? I like having an idea of where the story's gonna go, and I plan that out either before writing or while writing, so I don't get stuck. But it's really loose and gives plenty of room for the characters to go feral. I'm in the middle, but I lean more panster than plotter.

What music do you listen to while writing?

Soundtracks, usually from videogames or movies. I really should start organizing my two writing playlists by vibes other than calming music and boss fight-type, but I'm pretty happy with how I have it now. I also have some seasonal aesthetic playlists which match the vibe of the current weather.

Favorite books/movies?

Oh goodness.

Uhhhh. UHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

My knee-jerk answer for favorite movie is and always will be The Princess Bride. But I also really like Back to the Future, The Martian, and Clue.

With books I tend to separate them into categories. For fantasy I would say it's a tie between Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, The Death Gate Cycle: Hand of Chaos by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson, and Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones.

For sci-fi it's The Martian by Andy Weir, followed closely by Skyward by Brandon Sanderson.

My favorite classic is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, followed by Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin.

And for nonfiction I like Stuck by Justina Van Manen, The Healing Imperative by Mike Aquilina, and Beautiful Holiness by Kathleen Beckman.

And of course the Holy Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Any current WIPs?

This post is getting long enough already, I talk about my WIPs here and they're all linked in my pinned post in one way or another.

Create a character description of yourself:

Quiet, and keeps to herself. Never without a book, never without a rosary. Her brown hair is long, reaching nearly past her waist, and often kept up in a ponytail or a braid. She dresses mostly in dark colors, black jeans or skirt and a shirt or blouse that is black, navy, or gray, but occasionally wears a bright shirt. She wears little to no makeup unless she feels like being extra fancy. She always has a ring on her right hand, and usually a bracelet that matches her outfit, both of which she fiddles with. Her friends are few but she loves them dearly, and they are often on her mind. Though she may be quiet most of the time, she never hesitates to speak up for what she believes in.

Do you like incorporating actual people you know into your writing?

Eh... not really. I know my own thoughts and experiences much better than those around me and I wouldn't wish a lot of the stuff I do to my characters on the people I know so it just feels kinda weird to me.

Are you kill happy with your characters?

I find I like to bring my characters to the brink of death and back again rather than just killing them unless I want to write about grief. I'm more kill happy with immortal characters for the same reason.

Coffee or Tea while writing?

Usually just water, but if I can get my favorite iced coffee drink than I'd be happy to drink that.

Slow or fast writer?

It varies depending on the amount of research I have to do in a scene, but I think I write pretty fast. I haven't measured my words-per-minute in a while but it was pretty good if I recall correctly.

If you were in a fantasy world, what would you be?

I'd love to be a guide of some kind, part of the group enough that I won't get killed off. I'm pretty good with navigation and maps, and I'd like to have powers (minor ones, not overpowered) but that would depend on the fantasy world.

Most fav book cliche:

Scoundrel with a heart of gold. I eat that up like a starving woman. Han Solo, Mat Cauthon, Ifan Ben-Medz, etc. Draven Cozenson, Diana Ozborne and Korfel Domin are two oc examples.

Least favorite cliche:

Love triangles. Frustrates me to no end, especially how most of them are resolved and how they really only seem to drive wedges in the fandoms (Keeper of the Lost Cities fandom, I'm looking at you.) I have no love triangles in my stories and I never will. I have minimal romance anyway but in the two I got there is no competition.

Favorite scene to write?

*evil grin* Love writing the whump or hurt/comfort scenes, all my ocs get whumped in some form or another, and I have fun every single time.

Reason for writing?

Creative expression, love for my ocs, with a dash of "I maked these :D"

In all seriousness, it's a hobby that I love. It sparks joy and it's a craft that I continuously improve upon and the more I write the better I get at writing. I also occasionally fantasize about publishing one day and my books having fandoms of their own. Maybe that will happen someday.

Vincent (Vicente) and two Lanas???

Lanas first:

I had two different ideas that I wanted to make lana a character. One was leaning into her "villain" side and make it her personality. The other one was following her bubbly design and personality. Just yesterday I made the compromise of just making two Lanas. The redhead would be the adaptation and the greenhead would be an OC, I guess?

Anyways, both are called Lana. They really just like being called Lana, which causes confusion to everyone, but they won't budge. One of them is in charge of the economics and administration classes. And the other is second responsible for the art class. I'll let y'all guess who's who.

Vicente is a 20-something psychology student who took an internship working at the school. During his first month he was fucking around and now he's in charge of the music contest. womp womp.

The drawings don't show it too well but he's a very optimistic and kindhearted dude with a lot of energy to spare.

Now 🎧 anon you mentioned a good point there. Some of my Ocs are actually in the same universe, referring to my old works (ie; Anti Hero and Villainous Charm) so it's not completely impossible for Yan playboy and Yan neko to be in the same one.

First of all, Xavier and Leo meeting would = chaos as the two will fight over you constantly. They're both like tinkerbell in a sense that if they don't have your attention on them, they will die.

Second of all they're also possessive type of yan and seeing you with another person is akin to death sentence for them. Especially Leo since he hates everyone but you <3

Mini drabble under the cut!

It was like any ordinary day, you just had finish hanging the laundry and are currently watching the television while Leo naps on your lap.

Your hand mindlessly scratched and pet the napping hybrid while your mind was somewhere else completely. His sounds of purr filled the otherwise quiet living room.

Knock. knock.

"Who's there?" Leo grunted as you stopped petting him and carefully placed the hybrid's head on a pillow before getting up to the front door.

"Xavi your beloved, of course" The person replied from the other side, you immediately recognize the voice to belong to your non-official boyfriend, Xavier.

"You're just getting more audacious as days went by, Xavi" You opened the door and stepped aside for Xavier to walk in.

"Heh, sooner or later you'll be agreeing with m- AH!" The dark-skinned man jump onto you and hold onto you like a lifeline at the sight of you Neko Hybrid.

"Who's this, Master? And hands off of them, you" Leo glared at Xavier as he readies his claws to attack. They emphasise the you as to make a point that he's not welcomed here.

The two males had a staring contest with Leo glaring murderously at Xavier while the other stares out of fear. Eventually Xavier lets go of you and looked at Leo at eye level*.

"I'm assuming you're [Name]'s pet , Leo. I'm Xavier and I'm their boyfriend, nice to meet ya" At his word Leo turned to you with a heartbroken expression.

"Boyfriend? But I thought I had already courted you, Master.." Their sad face reminded you of a kicked puppy and your heart can't take seeing it.

"He's just delusional, Leo. We're not dating!" You said while immediately going to his side and enveloping him in a hug.

Xavier was ticked off at Leo's smug expression, so this cat thinks he can one up him? Yeah, no way. That day, your house were filled with chaos as the two males fought like cats and dogs over you.

Good thing you only have a Neko Hybrid.

*Xavier is shorter than Leo. He's around 6'1 and Leo is 6'5

here's my oc' for @bamjammy 's contest!!

The villain madre, also known as the monochrome mistress due to her unusual appearance is a generally kind and motherly figure, though fiercely protective. Her sidekick 'baby' is sweet and silent, and seems to get conveniently whisked away whenever any real fighting happens.

Anyway, I hope you like them, sorry they're kinda rushed, it was really late at night and I was super tired.

I can't wait to see all the other characters!

(Also I just realised I didn't colour in madre's cigarette. opsies, just pretend it's there :/)

I tried rewriting Disventure Camp All Stars (1/4 and this was mostly done out of curiosity)

What if Miriam didn’t come back to compete also Jake and Tom healthily communicated after Season 1. Also I decided that Emily, Derek, and Trevor won’t be appearing. Plus I’m busy trying to leave the fandom

Ep 1

-First off Miriam will be replaced with an OC, Chuck. She/They AroAce Vietnamese. A minimum wage office worker in the Disventure camp staff and secretly dislikes Crystal. She comes across as aloof and antisocial, but also observant when needed to be.

-First things first she does answer the interview well and isolates herself from the other contestants during the plane ride she does become stoic once Jake takes the window seat. When they parachute out and Riya pushes Aidan, Chuck casually grabs a parachute and secretly pushes off Riya before jumping.

-To her chagrin, she’s on the Yellow team w/ Riya, Connor, Alec, Yul and Grett.

Ep 2

-Chuck manages to catch up with her team and compliments Connor’s Fire starting, ‘nifty’

-During Yellow’s conversation, Chuck isn’t an active talker the whole time, but she does listen well. Chuck’s also the only one on her team who doesn’t have a glamorous job and active social media. She confesses that she knows about the series since she skimmed all of the episodes online.

-Before the challenge, Chuck’s wearing a rash guard and swim trunks over their swimsuit, cause they can subvert gender norms while being beach ready. During the whole activity, Chuck struggles defending her team’s goal, because of internal teammate distrust and attention span, but helps score some points. Said challenge ends the same way with Cyan in 1st, Yellow in 2nd (Chuck thinks they have a high chance of winning the next challenge) and Magenta 3rd with them voting out Fiore. No hate to Fiore at all but since in this AU Tom and Jake have a form of healthy communication at the start, it prevents James from having a Target on his back.

Ep 2

-Already the yellow team isn’t doing good after yesterday’s challenge obviously Connor walks off cause of Riya rebuffing him so Chuck decides to follow him.

-Surprisingly Chuck does get along with Connor and Alec, plus both her and Al advise Connor to not take Riya’s bs maybe and break it off, prolly for good. After bonding with Connor, Chuck realizes that “K this is crazy but Connor kind of reminds me of my grandpa”

-The challenge is the same, since Miriam and Fiore aren’t in the challenge, Chuck decides to help Alec locate the treasure scoring their team immunity. Magenta gets second and Cyan is in third with Lake getting eliminated.

Ep 3

-Satisfied with their first victory, Chuck and Riya end up noticing the tension in Yul and Grett’s relationship on their own. Surprisingly Chuck shares with Riya that she isn’t a fan of BTS reject because of her not so great attention span and she might forget the conversation she had with Riya. Then she confesses, “Eh prolly not.”

-Learning about what Connor and Riya did yesterday, Chuck advises to let Connor make his own choices and find out on his own accord. Plus Chuck doesn’t join the villain alliance but gets curious about what’s happening.

-At the sandbag challenge, Magenta team finally scored immunity, Cyan’s in second and yellow last. Chuck managed to score a sandbag by digging it up and crazily swung it at Ashley and Tess confusing them but making to her team. Since Yul failed to score a Sandbag, he got eliminated all because Riya convinced Grett while Chuck convinced Alex and Connor. Due to Miriam not being on the team, there were no letters made to expose the Villain’s alliance due to Chuck’s growing skepticism on the three other teams.

Ep 4

-Chuck goes for a walk with Connor and ends up asking him to join on the way. Also Chuck and Riya supported Grett after Yul’s elimination, Chuck even said “You don’t need that douche” and her confession was “Really who even does?”

-She also tells Connor something suspicious is going on in all three teams and now Connor’s skeptical and they’ll both have to watch their backs and find proof. Then Connor explains what he did before and during Season 2 surprising Chuck. She also reveals to him that she was in a trust building camp and it didn’t end well. Later when Riya discovers that Chuck’s been getting chummy with Connor and confronts them, the latter says, “He’s actually a great person once you get to know him.”

Ep 5 The musical one

-Chuck tests herself by doing a good workout routine of yoga, sit ups and a special one forearmed plank. She’s asks either Alec or Connor to time her. She then explains to her team that while she did really bad in High School Physics Education, the only good memory in it was getting a really good time on a plank.

-When Crystal announces the song challenge, Chuck goes, “Finally something easy!” and she spends the rest of the day helping her team with the music and lyrics

-The challenge pretty much goes the same, (albeit with tension emerging in JakexTom + James & Aiden) when the Yellow team performs, Grett and Chuck notice the faulty spotlight and then they all evacuate when it torches the stage. Cyan and Magenta are safe, while Connor ends up eliminated and after that in a shocking twist Chuck asks to be eliminated too surprising her team and her boss. She noticed the faulty light switch and decided to take accountability for not telling her team so Crystal, now baffled, allows it . After she apologizes to her team and wishes them luck, she goes to help out the interns and Connor, she says to him, “Hey, not just what happened on stage, I also wanted to help you challenge or not.” To which Connor smiles and says, “That’s good, kid.”

The year is 2025. RWBY may or may not still be in hiatus, or cancelled, or still ongoing.

At least 50 more useless side characters have been added to the cast.

Maria and Pietro are still missing. Ruby comments by saying "Huh, I wonder where Maria and Pietro are". Yang replies "Maybe they're off on a date", Blake replies "Oddly wholesome" and they all laugh together.

The current villain is a dark-skinned male Faunus who happens to be a working-class family man who is fighting for a social issue that is oddly relevant to some real-life events in 2025. But it's okay guys, bad people corrupting noble causes is still totally a valid way to write villains.

Bumbleby is still not canon. Yes, they are still calling it a slow burn.

Cinder is still fucking alive, oh god why

Rooster Teeth has officially exhausted their entire supply of bright-eyed creators who aspired to work on RWBY. They finally hit their goal of either firing or expiring the contract of every last one. That'll teach them for having dreams.

The merch now consists of $500 shirts with RQBY sewn in microscopic fibre on the inside of the fabric. The show name was misspelled in the first print run, but enough people complained about it that RT just went "alright, fuck you guys" and didn't bother to change it since.

About half of RT's legacy staff have confirmed to be in some sort of really fucked up scandal. The other half made callout docs and tweets, which caused the fandom to be angry for a week before they went back to sharing fanart as usual.

RT is now currently using a new production pipeline, where every single animator's contract only lasts for a single episode, before they leave and they find new people to animate the next one. They're hoping to further optimise this process next year by making it per scene instead.

There is a new RWBY side anime coming out, animated by prestigious animation studio Cocomelon.

An entire team of four unambiguously queer Hunters were killed onscreen. CRWBY has blamed the first death on a team of rogue, disobedient animators accidentally drawing her kissing a girl and confessing her undying sapphic love for her - she wasn't meant to be seen as a lesbian. The second death was blamed on the fans, the crew saying "this was supposed to be a side character, but you all started liking her and demanding more screentime for her, so fuck you" in the Volume commentary. The third was a monkey Faunus with comically yellow skin, squinted eyes and a long moustache named Mu Fanchu whose Semblance involves him making monkey noises and his weapon is a giant banana - surprisingly, he turned out to be secretly evil. The fourth just died offscreen because she was a fan character who won an OC fan design contest, but they had no time to include her in the show - in fact, the time her death was mentioned was the very first and only time the character was introduced.

Jaune says onscreen "Somehow, Ironwood has returned."

Green Dust is now Fire Dust, which Eddy confirms in a Reddit post - not in r/RWBY, but in an obscure reply in r/fantasygeology. No one found that post until 2 months later and when asked, the reply was "Green fire exists, I can see how you can get them confused".

Ozpin has now reincarnated into Oswald Pint, one of eight new boys currently with RWBY's group and for some reason have more screentime and agency than the girls. Oscar died in Volume 11 Episode 3 in a sickeningly distressing torture scene - that's the episode, the whole episode was the torture scene.

The fandom is abuzz over the newest queer rep in the show: a talking glass of water named Clear, who is genderfluid.

RT releases a RWBY mobile game only available in two postcodes, is not written in English and discontinues it after 3 months due to "stupid fucking fans not engaging with our products". Fans continue to insist that somehow, this must still be either WayForward or SHAFT's fault.

Jaune Vs. Aquaboy is slated to release next year. In fact, Volume 11 stopped in the middle of Episode 4 and will be on hiatus for the next 3 years until the crossover is out.

Speaking of Jaune, he just killed Nora. In fact, he did it just as I was posting this. Oh, he's killed Ruby too. And Clear our genderfluid queen, and Aquaboy as well. Oh god, he's looking this way, help me

The year is 2025, and if one thing hasn't changed, it's that hardcore RWBY stans are still around. When asked about the state of RWBY, they had this to say:

The inkling girl in the first panel is Carlotta Marisa Ikaraggi, and she's a prodigal sign interpreter for the Squid sisters. And her surname sounds like Ikarrage, or "fried squid" in Japanese, which is what Calamari is. She's from splatsville and her parents come from Cephaloflorence, Inktaly.

The gal next to her is from the Hoenn region. She's an ace trainer named Kasumi Dominica Hamasaki-Brooks. She's deaf in one ear and wants to be a water type gym leader.

Also in the first panel is the Sniper from Team Fortress 2. After finding out he NEVER buys his own shirts, I figured he'd be the kind of person to only enter a contest or competition if the grand prize is a free T-shirt. So yeah, with the transferable skills, Mr. Mundy became the Bee photography champ of 1964. Also he's wondering how Waddle Doo is listening to music.

Knuckles is autistic in my HC, and while he (much like Eggman) is a feminist, he doesn't like to read long paragraphs. So I decided he would read a book of Alison Bedschel Cartoons.

In the second panel, we see two sims characters, one of which is an oc. Hali'a el-Ghani is Hawaiian/Senegalese, and likes floral hijabs. To her right is Savannah Price, but I decided to give her a better looking hairstyle (namely box braids in a ponytail with some edges).

Also Mario and Luigi and Bob the Cat.

The mannequins are of Princess Dragonfruit (my idea of what Wa-Peach is like, somewhat like Bowsette, and she's cringefail villain with a Dr.Doofenshmirtz level of incompetence and her girlfriend is Princess Chammomile, who's pretty much WaDaisy and she sleeps often and has a mellow but lazy stoner-ish vibe) and some random guy.

The next panel shows a club of some sort. Rouge the bat wants to play a game of Chaosvolley with Undyne.

I decided that rouge the bat WOULD wear the jewelry she steals, and frequently lies about where she got it. Also I can't draw anyone playing pool to save my life. So I made up a dangerous "Party sport" instead.

The shirt Undyne is wearing is based off of a hat from @shirtsthatgohard

Bronto Burt is in the corner dancing.

The sonic character in the BG is an oc named Guava the Fennec. She's a green fox with pink eyes and likes fruit smoothies

The foreground shows a Hylian named Shimea who's family runs a tea house inn oot castle town. The Toad next to her is Enokiko Toad, a reserved and intelligent gal who's also quite blunt and also very autistic.

That's because Principal Isabelle Shizue (yes from animal crossing) forgot to have a uniform made for Lawson High (named after Jerry Lawson, who pretty much invented the video game console) so Isabelle just put (wear a school uniform.

In reality, it's because I have ADHD and I don't want to draw the same uniform multiple times.

Wally Rosette is a 15-year-old kid who was chosen (and then kidnapped) to attend the Elite Villainous International Learning facility. This position, however, is solely because his parents were world-famous villains. Wally himself has no interest in the business, and is often described as the sweetest person any of the cast has ever met. He spends most of his time in the background, helping out faculty and students with their homework or various tasks, and only ever becoming relevant when homework *is* the plot of the week. Wally is just a kind kid who knows better than to get involved in the plot and loves his friends so so so so so so so fucking much it's unreal

THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE BABY BOY So Wally is a sweet kid, but because his parents were world-famous, he never really got a choice in who they raised him to be. This resulted in him having a BUNCH of self-worth issues that he tries to deal with on the side because he doesn't want to get his friends involved. He has two (2) major points in the plot (OUT OF 40 CHAPTERS)- one plot point where he ignores the main antagonist to get a boyfriend instead, and one where his entire arc finally culminates in "Wally Learns How To Say No To People." Outside of that, he does NOTHING regarding the main plot and is a C plot character at best. He is simply involved and there in the background because I love him so much and he is my precious little baby boy and yeah sure maybe I loved him so much I made 27 alternate universe versions of him that all have plot relevance in all my stuff but *this* wally is simply a boy and he is blue and he is lovely and I would kill and cry for him every day

Despite the fact all he desires to be is just some guy the universe keeps trying to make him more than some guy. He's supposed to be a hero, a prince, but he keeps running from the idea of it so much he ends up in another world entirely and all he wants is to go home and be normal, all he wants! He's not looking to save his sister, she can save herself she's strong. He just wants to go home :( that's all he really wants in life and he's getting really tired of the universe saying otherwise

Bonus Battle Couple Poll: Mod being self indulgent

I love battle couples but it wouldn't be fun if I nepotismed all of my faves into bracket (also they would've been swept and I would've been sad). So have a fun bonus poll! Also I infodump a little.

Voidblade (Cradle) VS Franticshipping (Pokémon Manga) VS Winterphoenix (My OCs)

Voidblade (don't think that's the widely accepted ship name but I saw it used once and I think it's cool)

Lindon and Yerin start out as strangers who team up due to circumstance, but they grow into friends and eventually, an incredible battle couple. Cradle's a progression fantasy series where everyone's trying to get stronger. Lindon starts out behind, but once he catches up he and Yerin complement each other in battle and fight to advance together.

A key moment in their relationship is when they're forced to face each other in an arena where they can't die and once Lindon gets over his reluctance to hurt Yerin, they absolutely enjoy the opportunity to fight each other without holding back. Yerin's fighting style leans more towards brute force, while Lindon literally has a spirit in his brain who helps him strategize to win fights before they begin. The two of them fight gods together. Upend the order of the world. Lindon gifted Yerin a sword forged from body of a dreadgod and immediately afterwards gave her a ring. Battle couple of all time.

Franticshipping

Ruby gave up battling because when they met as kids because the way he'd fought had scared Sapphire, but he fights again to protect her. Sapphire dedicated herself to growing stronger because she'd felt helpless that day and didn't want to be a burden again, wanted to be able to protect herself.

When they were on Mirage Island they trained to double battle with each other with Juan, Tate & Liza. Their Kirlias evolved (Ruby's into a Gardevoir, Sapphire's into a Gallade) at the same time. They rode Rayquaza into space to destroy the meteor and save the world together, and they did it while wearing contest outfits. I love them so much.

Winterphoenix

Okay I have barely written anything for them but I rotate them in my brain constantly. Holly's a superhero who never got to live a normal life because her father trained her since birth to take over his magical guardian of order duties, and when he died when she was fifteen she dedicated herself to protecting the world with barely any time for herself. Reid was a normal guy until he ended up kidnapped by a villain trying to exploit the powers Reid did not know he had.

Holly saved him, and after some reluctance Reid became a hero and together they took down the bad guys. Since then they've been a heroic duo, and Reid's eased Holly's burden – and ironically Reid, the fire guy, taught his gf with ice powers to chill. She showed him how to be a hero. He showed her how to be human.

OC Week: Day 3 - Relationships

Something lighthearted after the last one 😅 But today I would love to share some Rose’s family/friend dynamics! 😄

Angela (mother): A Beauty Trainer and a fashion designer, who owns her own fashion business in Sinnoh/Unova. She is rather doting to her family and love to create clothing especially for her daughters. When it came to finding out her eldest daughter went missing, she feared the worst but found relief when she got to see Rose come to visit her after so long, assuring her she still cares for her girl, she understands very well how much failure can affect someone.

Andie (sister): Rose’s little sister who’s already set off on her own journey long after hers, searching to become the best Pokémon Contest Coordinator/Performer. She has the knack of inspiration from her older sister to one day become a trainer and she got her chance, only to find her sister went missing. Even finding her under disguise, she still cares for her sister to recover from her depression, and even though she promised to keep this to her self (making Rose promise in return to make up with Mom), she still looks up to Rose as both a sister and a trainer.

Kaede (father): A Pokémon Fanatic and a freelancer photographer who has a soft spot for Pokémon as he does for his family. He’s also extremely close to her daughters, especially Rose, when he comes to find about her gift (more on that another day). In hindsight though, he’s always away from home these days, but inevitably one day he stopped coming home, leaving others worried. Rose managed to discover during her dark days, that her father was going undercover to uncover every evil villains’ secrets and he felt terrible for leaving home for so long. He was also the first of the family to find out about his daughter missing, having find her roaming while he’s under guise, and helped her pick herself up whenever they were together (while she also nags him to visit his family again 😤).

Lee M. (“just a friend Haha”): The first trainer to ever encounter Rose in the old Chateau, under guise as a Hex Maniac. Young teens having met when this boy came to check out the manor to find a sad lass in the darkness amongst her Ghost Pokémon. Rose didn’t take him seriously when they first met, he was sort of obnoxious to her at first, but as he came to see her often strangely, she finds he only wishes to stick around and keep her company. It was only then she comes to warm up to him, eventually gotten close and Lee has shown sympathy for her troubles. He was also one who help her go through her emotions and even gets her to travel more, where they eventually start to run into each other every time. It it only up until their later years they officially started dating, she’s grown fond of his fun and cool nature.
