The most impressive health benefits of calendula include its ability to speed up healing, protect oral health and improve the appearance of the skin amongst others. To make a beautiful golden calendula oil, use dried flower heads and petals, choose a vitamin rich carrier oil and a large airtight container. Cover the flowers with the oil and either leave on a sunny window sill for 6 weeks inverting weekly or heat gentle and then leave to infuse, inverting weekly. You can't go wrong!
