It's like, around dinner time but my dinner fell on the floor due to my sister being clumsy as fuck and the dog had a good day (my lasanger!!!) and I had a joint and this pie of whatever nationality sounds so fucking good right now. I'm going to get my bicycle and go to the local bakery and get some nice dutch vlaai pie, with cherries, and extra whipped cream. they should be open for another hour or so.

Cardigan: dark red and mustard yellow. I’m not too fond of bright colours so the muted fall colours kinda suit me I guess 😅

Camping: No clue; they’re not common to make in my country so I’ve never tried it.

Amber - what's something you do every day?

A lot. Actually. My autistic ass is kept functional by habits and routines. Perun and I start our day by feeding the rabbits, something that he's determined to help with. And now that he got walking down pat, he loves going in and out the baby gate at the cages all by himself and feeding the bunnies treat sticks. Then its watering the plants, and breakfast with our daily youtube videos and a mug of tea.

Crow - what's an unpopular opinion you have on autumn?

It'a rushed for petty commercial reasons. Halloween isn't a native event, we traditionally have sint maarten in november for our trick or treating, but halloween is being naturalised. That's not my issue. I bring it up because you would expect halloween products in store around september. And you do. More importantly, there's Sinterklaas treats. Sinterklaas would be December 6th and the candies have no bussiness being in the shops before november, which is when Sinterklaas enters the country. There's already Christmas decor. IN SEPTEMBER. So now if you go to Hema. You fund the halloween candy next to the pepernoten next to the christmas stockings. And I hate it. It all loses its meaning without its proper time and place

As mentioned, none of them are native. But I love carving pumpkins.

Pie - what's your favourite type of pie?

An old argument on this blog was what is an american pie when speaking as a european - taart. Vlaai, cake, etc. So I'm gonna answer this for the Dutch categories, so I can list more. I'm a massive sweettooth, you see.

Propper Dutch apple pie when speaking of taart, with almond spijs and custard.

Christoffel vlaai for the vlaai category - which are typical Dutch pies without dough on top. Christoffel is a cherry chocolate variety, they aren'r as common but they are divine.

Cake, which isn't the same as an American cake, think pound cake or bundt. Birthday cake would be taart. That would have to be a chocolate or apple cinnamon.
