Exciting stuff is happening work-wise. I won't have as much time to write as before, but I finally feel like my "career" is going somewhere

10 What was the quickest work to write?

Relatively? I think it was Where the Sky Touches the Sea. The whole plot just popped into my mind, start to end, and I wrote it in like a week.

One-shot/Chapter-wise? That would be the first chapter of On the Ground All Can Hear You Scream. I wrote 6k+ words in 24h because my idiotic ass decided to join ClexaWeek2022 at the last minute and hadn't prepared anything. I wrote around 20k that week, and then I died 😅

15 What work are you taking into the new Year with you?

All my WIPs that are currently giving me the stink eye because I haven't updated them in weeks/months? 😅

On the Ground All Can Hear You Scream, mostly. Because it's going to be a looong fic with several parts and side works. I've already dragged it into 2023, and by the look of things, it's going to haunt me until 2028...

20 Which work of yours have you reread the most?

Tough one. I tend to re-edit my older works as my style improves, so I've reread and edited my first fics a few times. I finally finished retouching Our Revolution, and since it's my longest story to date, it feels like I've been on it forever (A new epilogue is coming very soon btw. After working on it for weeks, I was inspired)

But if we're talking about reading my fics leisurely while trying to ignore the perfectionist mini demon on my shoulder telling me to edit? Probably Not All Treasure’s Silver and Gold. It's a quick read, it's exciting, has a good plot twist, and you can't go wrong with Pirate Lexa.

I also love Stages of Grief (Bring The Light Back In Me). It's not as light, but Clarke and Lexa's relationship there is one of my favorites. Plus it inspired me to start writing more canon, hence On the Ground.

Hey Anon! I am a huge fan of Wanheda’s Dagger Week and the whole idea of everyone coming together for a niche target audience, and a fan of Wanheda’s Dagger stories. Unfortunately, the week hit right when I was set to have a baby so I haven’t had the chance to settle in and read everything yet. And since I didn’t plan to write, I didn’t pay much attention to the anon prompts. But I plan to read everyone else’s contributions once I can relax.

I did get a pre-screening of Alpha Dance Company by @mozz14 and loved it! There was also a funny prompt response by @reallygroovyninja where Clarke and Lexa have a sex talk with their kid that had me laughing. As much as I like a good smut filled story, I enjoy reading about Clexa spending and experiencing a full life together. Call me a sap haha.

I’m a fan of all @vmplvr1977 stories they’ve written, so I’m looking forward to reading It Takes as Long as it Takes. Of course, @lexa-griffins is “Wanheda’s Dagger,” @heda-in-the-clouds writes wonderful smut and that GIF set they did 🥵 🪭. And everyone else I saw contribute, @bottom-lexa, @eternalreignblog, and @blu3haw4 all have stories or one-shots that I’ve enjoyed so I have no doubt their contributions are great as well and look forward to reading them.

Do you have kids? No kids, and honestly, I was always indifferent to the idea of having them.

What sports have you played/do you play? In high school, I played softball and soccer. That should have been my first clue to my sexuality.

Do you use sarcasm? Umm yeah. I'm not as sarcastic as I was when I was younger

First thing you notice about people? It depends. Some people I notice their eyes and others their smile. A few people I noticed their voice first.

Scary movies or happy endings? I'm not into scary movies, so definitely happy endings.

Any talents? I don't have any hidden talents. I'm good at some things, but do I see them as a talent? Probably not. I'm sure they are probably a talent, though.

Okay, so last night I was in the mood for an Alpha Clarke fic and was blown away by the search.

137??? And most aren't completed (which I think we can agree is thanks to the troll). 😔 Like I finally feel your pain, cos I'm more in the likes to switch things up/open minded in regards to their roles. But damn. Seriously , that 1% of Clexa fics!!

And I've read damned near all of them. 😭 Do you have any recs? Because though I've decided to write an Alpha Clarke fic (because we obviously need more), I need something to read until I finish my current WIP!!

Sorry this is a bit of a late answer!!! But oh yeah, it is a very small percentage. And in those are included one-shot compilations that have both presentations tagged. And there is also a small share of prologue type fics there so even that number isn't 100% individual fics. It is scarse over here on the alpha!clarke/omega!Lexa side. Some alpha!clarke fics would sometimes pop up and then be deleted soon after because of hate (and this was before the newest troll popped up) and I've seen authors justifying themselves in comments over and over as to why they chose to write alpha!clarke. Combined with the decline in comments it doesnt really breed a place for writers to write for what is a smaller niche in the fandom, especially if they aren't a little more established in the fandom :/

I was tagged by @thecrimsonknight @vmplvr1977 and @hevkomlezkru to to post my lockscreen, the last song I listened to, last picture I took, and the last movie I watched. Thanks for the tag 💜

My lockscreen is a couple selfie of my wife and me with Mount Fuji in the background. Even though we don't live in Japan anymore, that's where we met, so it has a special place in our hearts and we try to go back from time to time.

The last song I listened to was Say (All I Need) by OneRepublic. It's part of a "Vampire Diaries Best Songs" playlist on Spotify, because I secretly like that show and the soundtrack is pretty awesome.

The last picture I took... Great now I'll look like a geek 😅. It's a picture of the intro of Warcraft III Reforged that I sent to my brother to let him know I bought it a couple of days ago. I played the original A LOT when I was in high school, and he played it even more, so it's one of the many things that connect us. He recognized it instantly btw, so he's an even bigger geek.

And the last movie I watched was Un Homme à la Hauteur (Up for Love in English) on Netflix. A French comedy about a woman who hits off on the phone with a charming man and decides to meet him, but when they do, she finds out he's very short (1m36, I'll let my American friends convert that hehe). It's predictable but nice, and I like the two main actors. I barely watched any French movie for years when I lived abroad, so it's nice to catch up from time to time with what I've missed.

Oh there are several, some memories good and bad. I think the smell of sunscreen and salt will always remind me of 2018 and the year I spent the most time at the ocean though. I can't wait to go back 🥹 Get to know me!

This is not the story of a Skaikru Princess who led a band of teens to the ground. Instead, our tale follows Klark kom Azgeda, a Natblida and fearsome warrior known by most as Wanheda. Her unlikely friendship with Heda Leksa kom Trikru would forge a new world- ending a cycle of violence and war that had lasted ten generations.

But, contrary to popular belief, the tale of Heda and Wanheda did not begin with sworn enemies crossing blades at the Battle of Syra. Nor did their journey commence with the legendary victory over Maun-de, whose song is often heard around campfires or inside alehouses.

Instead, their tale began a decade and two winters before the fall of Mount Weather when our two heroes were children. One Azgeda, the other Trikru- sworn enemies for generations. Theirs was an unexpected and complicated friendship, born from a misunderstanding over sweets.
