thank you for the only paraskep content not made by or for me specifically. this is so huge for me. i love them so bad. i also have sort of a modern au but its not modern and they're still in a construct of sorts. but skeptic is a detective and paranoid is his secretary and they're roommates and they share a bed and they kiss but they dont really label themselves beyond "partners". and im rlly glad sum1 else sees the vision. the paranoid version of the cage made me go fucking insane when i first played it and i havent stopped thinking about it since.

I liked the idea of their dynamic pre-cage... a shaking rambling guy (who was completely correct) and a rational, reserved guy (who was completely incorrect)

for my au, Skeptic is a lead detective or a lawyer or whatever and Paranoid is a crime scene detective (he goes over and looks at dead bodies, which is where he gets to say hi to Nightmare at the morgue)

They work together very often and moved in together for whatever platonic reason. They see each other as friends or just colleagues, but their behavior around one another isn't very platonic...(they freak it)

I had a really fun idea for where Razor is in life...

she and Cheated used to date in college, that was before she sort of killed him. He got better tho (and broke up with her)(and she was admitted to an asylum)

she's a veterinarian!

(idk where her scars came from in this au... I wanted to keep them tho since they're such an important part of the character)

I think their relationship is super calm and fluffy... just a pair of introverted guys who have naps together

Boxten is really shy and neurotic, but he's approachable in the way that (probably autistic) Astro can't seem to master. At the same time Boxten is easily overwhelmed, and Astro is very calming. they're perfect for each other 💞

Their meet-cute was at some pre-shutdown party. Astro helped Boxten cool down, and Boxten introduced Astro to some of his friends.

but the mains were always so busy, so it wasn't until after the shutdown and after the ichor operation that they were able to spend time together again 😸

the twisteds gave Boxten uber nightmares, so for a while he thought Astro hated him... (wrong!)

I've always liked the idea of paranoid and skeptic's dynamic (thought I haven't put all that much thought into it) so they're roommates (🩷)

I thought it was a cute idea that Skeptic and HEA are divorced on good terms? like lost love but still good friends?

since I made Paranoid a forensic detective and Nightmare a morgue assistant, maybe they cross paths a lot... (they hook up from time to time)

Gentle Heart & LQ got married 🩷 I like the idea that Gentle seems really ditsy, but has a lucrative career at a big university.

It took me some thinking to decide the roles of Tough and Vibrant. They're all sisters: Tough took on the crown, and the other two ran away to lead private lives ^^

(who would LQ date??? I thought maybe all of them? but I'm monogamous so hmm)

The way I see him, he's a calm and collected and concerned character, but his strong powers, relationship with Dandy, and introverted nature have made him estranged from all the other toons.. He's kind of sad 💔

I really like his ship with Boxten because it acts as a conduit between Astro and everyone else. With the mains always being so busy before the gardenview shutdown, it's sort of as if this whole situation is a second chance for Astro to connect to others. but idk

Absolutely!

While there are my favorite characters whom I love independently, my absolute favorite pairing occurs in Adversary's Fury, with the Contrarian 😸

At first I wasn't sure about this idea, but after going over it with my buddies, I find it super fun ^^

At first my friend @princeyvu said a college au might be interesting, which we cleaned up in a regular modern au.

All the voices would live in an apartment complex called 'The Long Quiet' hehe (that's my friend @weirddog69's idea)
