Prehistoric Mirrors from Turkey, c.6000 BCE: these are the oldest manufactured mirrors in the world, dating back about 8,000 years; they were meticulously crafted from pieces of obsidian
Two of the obsidian mirrors from Çatalhöyük (Turkey); this pair was found buried together back in 2012
At least eight of these obsidian mirrors have been found at Çatalhöyük, a Neolithic site located in Turkey. All of these mirrors date back about 8,000 years, and each one was crafted from a chunk of obsidian (volcanic glass) that was knapped into the shape of a disc and then meticulously polished with progressively finer abrasives until a smooth, slightly convex surface had been developed. Some of these mirrors can still produce remarkably clear reflections.

'Pele's Hair" is the name given to hair-like strands of volcanic glass that are stretched from still-molten masses of lava as they are launched or fall through the air at a lava fountain, a lava cascade, or a spatter cone.
Strands of Pele's hair are very thin, almost always under 1/2 millimeter in width. They range in length from tiny broken pieces up to strands as long as 2 meters. Their appearance can be similar to coarse human hair with a golden-brown color.
Geologically, Pele's hair is a mineraloid formed from basaltic lava.
Treat Pele's Hair With Caution!
Pele's hair should be considered a hazardous material. The thin strands of glass are very sharp, very brittle, and break easily. If handled they can penetrate human skin, break in the wound, and break again into even smaller pieces when extraction is attempted.
In areas where Pele's hair is forming, tiny sharp particles can be carried by the wind or remobilized when dust on the ground is disturbed. These tiny particles can cause severe eye injury. They tiny razor-sharp fragments can also cause respiratory injuries if inhaled.
Stay away from areas where Pele's hair is forming or areas where it has covered the ground.

Gotta agree with Alola Anon tbh-
I love the idea of them coming back to pokemon with regional variants, but… make it more original tbh- some are cute simple! Like Vulpix, it works! But like… the Dugrio line with hair? Weezing with a top hat? Idk I think all of Alola had pretty basic designs, that’s my controversial opinion
I dont think you do agree???
Prev was all like "i really liked the alolan variants, pokemon has lost the plot tho with paldean and galarian"
You: "most variants are really lame, especially the alolan ones"

“I do not… did not know fear. Death… may have been a kindness.”
Black & White; obedience, conformance, denial. relentless and single-minded. // Red; power, strength, cruelty and anger. intensity, danger, and a warning.
Tuberose; dangerous pleasure. // Red Scabiosa; unfortunate love. // Persicaria; restoration.
White Tiger; unpredictable. aggression and anger. playful in cruelty. power and strength above all. unyielding hunter. solitary. territorial and possessive. rare and treasured… but only whilst useful.
Blood; proof you are still alive. pulse and impulse. edge of the knife, kill or be killed. proof they are not.
Winter; barren and empty. memory like freshly laid snow, the footprints below long buried.
Solar Midnight; furthest from the light. unwilling to look up for fear of signs in the stars.
Humility; ‘no one’, you laugh, a joke they don’t understand. but shadows stir under the snow as pride slowly slips under the ice.
Wrath; a deep-seated rage you can’t explain, forever reaching for a missing piece you don’t remember.
Death; a mimicry, already half gone, a shadow without shape.
of the Sea; floating through existence without understanding. told bloodshed would bring peace, but each one feels more and more like drowning.
Half Moon; permanently unwhole. a mere reflection of the sun you’ll never see again.
Ghost Glass; stealthy, swift and sharp, each slice singing through the air. the namesake of a home you’re no longer sure you miss.
Mantis Blades; a living weapon, unable to be put down. unsure where they end and you begin.
Drums; hammering heart, battering, broken, offbeat and out of time. a silver songbird offers salvation or to cease.
XV The Devil; allowing strings to pull the shadow. each cut brings momentary relief, but something is missing, maimed, mangled to fit a new truth. a chance to break the hold, one way or the other.
