Will there be English version? Tbh there is already an English version - titled "Sweet Connection", but it's digital only and exclusively for my patrons at Patreon. I owe the completion of this doujinshi to them, because without their supports, this doujin will probably never see the light of day. I did print several for the highest tier though, because physical goods is one of the perks of it and I will deliver!

"You know, I think I've found my favourite piece of art."
Marius Von Hagen looked up at you, tearing his gaze away from his phone. His brows quirked, now intrigued at your sudden exclamation.
"Oh? What is it?"
He was genuinely curious. Maybe it's a piece that you've both seen before at an exhibition on one of your dates. Or maybe it's a piece that you discovered on your own. Either way, he was eager to discuss about it with you.
You and art? Two of his favourite things, combined together? Nothing could make him happier.
You bit your lips, trying to hold back a grin (and failing miserably) before cupping his cheeks and bringing it closer to your face.
"It's you."
Your answer was met with an unexpected silence. He was caught off guard by your answer. And you were caught off guard by him being caught off guard by your answer. And so another prolonged silence ensues, and your face was already as hot as the summer sun outside when you finally let go of your hands from his cheeks, using them to cover your own instead.
"That was so embarrassing oh my god-"
You continued mumbling incomprehensible words, facing away from Marius (who was, unbeknownst to you, also mirroring your current state), steam coming out of your face and wanting to dig a hole you can hide into.
"Onee-san, do you want me dead or something..."
Marius let out a long, heavy sigh, taking a moment to compose himself before gently wrapping his arms around your neck, a hearty laughter escaping his lips as he snuggled closer.
"I love you."
He whispered, his smile never leaving his face and cheeks still dusted in heavy pink hues.
"I want to bury myself in a hole..."

Kay Francis and William Powell in Jewel Robbery (William Dieterle, 1932)
Cast: William Powell, Kay Francis, Helen Vinson, Hardie Albright, Alan Mowbray, André Luguet, Henry Kolker, Spencer Charters, Lee Kohlmar, Clarence Wilson. Screenplay: Erwin Gelsey, based on a play by Ladislas Fodor and a translation by Bertram Bloch. Cinematography: Robert Kurrle. Art direction: Robert M. Haas. Film editing: Ralph Dawson. Music: Bernhard Kaun.
Jewel Robbery is a perfect storm of what would be taboos under the Production Code: Not only does it condone adultery and let crime go unpunished, but it also allows William Powell's jewel thief -- pardon me, robber -- to slip a cigarette laced with an uncommonly potent strain of cannabis to the jewelry store guard, thereby violating the forthcoming ban on drug references in movies. (We are assured that, after a case of the giggles, the guard will fall sound asleep to wake refreshed with no hangover but the munchies.) The adulteress is Baroness Teri (Kay Francis), a golddigger who has married the aging Baron von Horhenfels (Henry Kolker) for his money, while carrying on a liaison with the much younger cabinet member Paul (Hardie Albright). Unfortunately, as Teri tells her confidante Marianne (Helen Vinson), Paul is a bit of a bore. She makes the best of it, however, swanning around in gowns designed by Orry-Kelly that defy the law of gravity and raking in the jewels her husband provides. Which leads her to the jewelry store that is about to be robbed and to the robber himself, with whom she swiftly falls in love. The rest is a story of crime and absence of punishment that ends well for Teri and her thief -- uh, robber. Francis and Powell were never better, and there's a good deal of charm and wit to the film. It could have been directed with a lighter touch: William Dieterle is better known for the somewhat stuffy biopics The Story of Louis Pasteur (1935), The Life of Emile Zola (1937), and Dr. Ehrlich's Magic Bullet (1940), and he doesn't have the Viennese insouciance that the script needs. But he lets his actors provide that, with good results.

Lancome Magie Noire
Tumblr media
Notes: blackcurrant leaf, galbanum, raspberry, rose, hyacinth, bergamot; honey, narcissus, cedar, ylang-ylang, tuberose, jasmine, orris; oakmoss, spices, civet, patchouli, amber, myrrh, sandalwood, vetiver, musk
Nose: Gerard Goupy
Magie Noire is a subtle wonder. It’s not very strong, but it’s unbelievably complex and ever-shifting. It’s officially listed as an oriental, but it feels more like a chypre, dominated by the bitter-dark forest floor notes of oakmoss and patchouli.
We’re in “grown-ass woman in Diane von Furstenburg wrap dress” territory here — it’s a late-seventies perfume, and has that Anne Bancroft, wry, self-possessed vibe I like so much. Same genre as Aromatics Elixir, Knowing, Paloma Picasso, even Aliage.
But Magie Noire is special in a number of ways.
First of all it has a true, almost fresh green top, thanks to the cassis and galbanum and a very judicious use of the raspberry (tart, not sweet). So it’s not all forest floor; there’s also some bright-green foliage. The galbanum feels natural here, a point of peridot light set among shades of olive and loden.
Second of all, the myrrh and incense and spices really make the base deep and dark in a way that even Paloma Picasso isn’t. There’s no mention of castoreum or leather in the notes but I seem to smell something like that too — a dark-brown, rich animalic, not just the high beige hiss of civet around the edges. The “noir” is almost reminiscent of a 21st century niche “dark” incense perfume, except without the harsh smokiness and chemical edge you get all too often. There’s no discernible sweetness for me, just deep, dark, mysterious depths that feel richly smooth going down.
Magie Noire may actually be the ultimate dark, witchy chypre for me. Some chypres use the oakmoss base as a dark-green-velvet backdrop to set off a sweet, bold floral (like Knowing did for rose and Paloma Picasso for hyacinth) while others are kind of monochrome (Aromatics Elixir is just greeny-brown herbal-woody notes; Bandit is dominated by the overwhelming bitterness of pure black leather, with chartreuse galbanum highlights.) Magie Noire is neither; it’s iridescent. It keeps shimmering between sparkling greens and rich incensey depths, with no sweet “easy” notes, just an endlessly twirling kaleidoscope of bitterness, darkness, spiciness, freshness, and radiance. At last it settles into a sepia-brown, oakmoss-and-myrrh base, as solid and reassuring as a cup of black coffee.

Trimming down my OK Cupid profile: the ‘before’ part
My self-summary
אוֹקִ֥יר אֱנ֖וֹשׁ מִפָּ֑ז וְאָדָ֖ם מִכֶּ֥תֶם אוֹפִֽיר׃
I’m an unpredictable but fiercely empathetic person, with a somewhat off-beat sense of humour. A huge fan of languages and human cultures. Moved to Haifa in Dec. 2017 and loving it, now working as a tutor and loving it too. Currently working my MA in sign language linguistics at Haifa U, planning to study teaching ESL at NUI Galway later on and later then going to settle abroad somewhere undecided to work in Deaf education (likely Montréal). If you want to know more about me, you can read more about me on my Tumblog. You should probably read the ‘About’ page and maybe look through my more important posts (for some of my observations and opinions), and in general pay particular attention to this post. (I’m not re-typing everything over here…)
Also, I have a Quora account. And a mostly inactive YouTube channel, with Hebrew CC & English subs for all vids there.
What I'm doing with my life
Having finished my BA in linguistics and East Asian studies, I translate and teach Hebrew and English whenever I get to (I translated the young adult fantasy novel Murderess by Daya Marnin to English), while learning a whole bunch of languages, most notably improving my already decent Japanese, and being as politically active (staunch leftist here) as circumstances allow. Also, I am now a tutor for K–12 students, teaching English, math, and Hebrew grammar & composition.
You’re more than welcome to contact me if you’re interested in learning Hebrew!
Also, I’m trying to make some money off my poetry, either through personalised commissions or through Patreon supporters.
I'm really good at
Languages are definitely my thing. I’m studying all languages currently available on Duolingo (finished 11 already and counting) and then some, and when Duolingo releases more I’ll add them to the list. (So you’re more than welcome to tell me what languages get you going… 😉)
Other than that I’m very good with words, as a translator and a poet (as I pointed out, I translated a book, and it had poetry in it; I’ve written poetry that’s moved people to tears, too), and I’m a pretty good dancer. Also, I’m creative and rather skilful in the kitchen, having honed these skills somewhat during the time I was a vegan. (If I like you, I’ll definitely make you something nice!)
My golden rule
‘Integrity above all.’
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS
My all-time favourite is Summer Celebration by Natan Alterman (look it up on TV Tropes; I wrote that article). Other than that I loved:
I Am a Cat by Natsume Souseki
Mr. Muo’s Travelling Couch by Dai Sijie
The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger
The Lover by A. B. Yehoshu‘a
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green & David Leviathan
The Narrow Road to Oku by Matsuo Basho: I actually wrote a book report on it and dressed up as Basho for Purim in the 10th grade
…and others
FILMS
My all-time favourite is Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Other than that I loved:
everything by Satoshi Kon
almost everything by Hayao Miyazaki (I’ve seen ALL of his films), the only exception being Porco Rosso
Love & Pop and Shiki Jitsu by Hideaki Anno
Wild Strawberries and The Best Intentions by Ingmar Bergman
anything by Akira Kurosawa
The White Ribbon and Funny Games by Michael Haneke
almost every Israeli film I’ve seen
almost every German film I’ve seen
The Rocky Horror Picture Show & Shock Treatment
(Needless to say, I’m somewhat of a film enthusiast; this doesn’t even begin to cover it)
SHOWS
My all-time favourite is Hideaki Anno’s life-changing fantastic Neon Genesis Evangelion. Others include quite a few good anime series and some non-anime ones:
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003)
Elfen Lied
Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
Kino’s Journey
Gunbuster
Ouran High School Host Club
Loveless
Shinsekai Yori
Aggretsuko
Live action:
Kidding
The Good Wife & The Good Fight
Orange is the New Black
Dexter
Breaking Bad
Borgen
Ray Donovan
Please Like Me
Looking
Jinn
some Israeli series
Non-anime animated:
Steven Universe
Adventure Time
MUSIC
Pink Floyd is my favourite band. I also love:
Bands:
Sigur Rós, especially Von (though I struggle to listen to them after Orri Páll Dýrason got #MeToo’d)
HaBiluim
HaMechashefot
The Seatbelts
Enigma
Jane Bordeaux (my guilty pleasure)
Stereopony (another guilty pleasure)
Individual artists:
Nujabes
Zemfira
John Coltrane
Antonio Carlos Jobim
Thijs van Leer
Hughes de Courson
Jacques Brel
Composers:
Bach
Beethoven
Prokofiev
Scriabin
Purcell
(These lists are by no means exhaustive…)
Generally, I find Modern Hebrew to be just the right amount of rugged for rock music. But I’m probably biased because Israeli rock was very much in vogue here when I was a little kid…
My taste is generally very eclectic though I don’t listen to music all that much on my own; basically, it amounts to ‘everything good, especially ambience, Western art music, chillout, jazz, prog/post-rock, and folk’.
FOOD
I was a vegan for almost two years starting around November 2014; it was somewhat of a challenge, but it did teach me to be very creative in the kitchen, and very aware of vegans’ needs. Generally, I’m pretty open-minded, but I particularly love:
East Asian food: Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese
French and Italian food
Seafood
Six things I could never do without
Cats
Human interaction (in moderation!)
Textbooks and other study materials
The ability to watch films
The ability to listen to music when I want to
Good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My day-to-day obligations, politics (including SJ), my ambitions, general philosophy… There’s plenty.
A perfect day
A day I feel I’ve been productive in: having read something, or learned something, worked out, cooked, written… and spent time with loved ones.
If I were sent to jail, I'd be arrested for
Either something I didn’t do, or some heroic act of vigilantism.
You should message me if
And now for what I’m looking for, especially for a more prolonged interaction.
As I said, I am obviously into languages and East Asian cultures (specifically Japanese), but I’m also happy to learn. If you’re willing to learn more about these topics (and in general) but your main field of interest is different, I’d be delighted, as I’d feel we could complete each other. (Same goes for speaking a foreign language.)
Genuine empathy matters a lot to me. If I think you lack it or deny it arbitrarily, I’ll be alarmed, but genuine warmth is something I love and will likely be drawn to you for.
With regards to personal convictions (e.g. political and religious): my main requirement is that you stick by what you believe in and be able to reasonably explain why you do. I may disagree with you fiercely, but I’ll respect you deeply for sticking by an informed opinion—I’ve gotten along surprisingly well with people from a very wide range of opinions.
Also, a pretty important pet peeve of mine: if I’m not calm or smiling there’s almost certainly a good, objective reason for it. You’re more than welcome to address those, or offer comfort and understanding, which I’ll appreciate immensely, but it really rubs me the wrong way when people try to tell me to react differently just because (‘Aw c’mon… Smile!’).
That’s about it in terms of personality. As for looks, I like soft facial features, smooth skin, and any body type that isn’t fat, or excessively muscular on women (nothing against those body types, they’re just not my taste).
Finally, as for expectations from talking: I’m not looking into anything too serious, for a variety of reasons. But I could make concessions if truly swept off my feet…

What’s Your Signature Fragrance?

There are so many different fragrances to choose from, but knowing what fragrance family you like can make your decision easier.  I’ve composed a list of fragrances based on their scent families:
Floral:
Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Seduction Eau de Parfum
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense
Ariana Grande CLOUD Eau de Parfum
Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Parfum
Fresh:
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau Intense
Victoria’s Secret Love Eau de Parfum
Tory Burch “Tory Burch” Eau de Parfum
Kate Spade Walk on Air Eau de Parfum
Clean Original “Clean” Eau de Parfum
Chloe Fleur de Parfum
Fruity:
Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy Eau de Parfum
Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy Eau de Parfum
Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum
Vince Camuto Ciao Eau de Parfum
Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris Eau de Parfum
Warm/Spicy:
Kat Von D Sinner Eau de Parfum
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau de Parfum
Tom Ford Ombre Leather
Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Eau de Parfum
Michael Kors Sexy Ruby Eau de Parfum
and now…here’s my story on how I found perfumes that are in my favorite scent family: Musky
A lot of people tend to have one fragrance that is their “signature” scent.  When I was little, I remember telling my mom that my grandma was scented (LOL).  I was too young to know what perfume was (and my family thought it was hilarious) so I always just thought she lived her life smelling like that…until the day I saw her spray her favorite perfume.  Btw, she still wears the same one to this day.
Personally, I never found a perfume I loved so much that it was the only one I wore.  I tend to switch back and forth.  Victoria’s Secret used to be my go-to perfume shop.  But every time I found a perfume I liked there, it would be gone within one year.  Some of my favorites included Sexy Little Things Noir, Fearless (I wayyyy overstocked on Fearless so I do still have that left), and Bombshell Nights.
So this year, I ventured out to some other brands and here’s what I found.
These are the perfumes I have come to love:
Coach Love-  This was the first brand I tried out other than Victoria’s Secret.  Today, it’s not the easiest to find, but a few online retailers still sell it.  I liked this scent because it still smelled musky but it was lighter. I still have the rollerball bottle of this scent. I like to bring it with me when I travel. It’s nice to freshen up while traveling and this bottle makes it travel-friendly and convenient.
Here are the main notes in this scent: white floral, floral, patchouli, powdery, musky, warm spicy.
Dolce & Gabbana Rosa Excelsa -  Again, I was on the hunt for a “signature” perfume and I ended up at Sephora.  I went through their wall of perfume and found this one by Dolce and Gabbana.  It even comes in the prettiest bottle with a rose flowered lid.  I looked this perfume up elsewhere and I ended up purchasing it on Last Call by Neiman Marcus for more than half off of the regular price.
Here are the featured notes in this perfume: Neroli leaves, Papaya, White Water Lily, White Daffodil, African Dog Rose heart, pink-flowered Turkish Rose Absolute, Musky, Cashmeran and Sandalwood.
Ouai Mercer Street – OMG!  I am so happy that Jen Atkin and Ouai Haircare decided to make perfumes.  Ever since I started using their shampoo and conditioners, I was hoping that this would happen.  The one I chose is Mercer Street because I love the scent of their shampoos and conditioners.  It’s actually the only one left in-stock on their website.  When they do a re-stock, I plan on trying out either North Bondi, which is scented like their famous wave spray.
Here are the featured notes in this perfume: Top Notes - Orange, Peony, Itlian Lemon, Iris, and Lily - Middle Notes - Magnolia, Jasmine Sambac, and Turkish Rose - Base Notes - White Musk and Orris.
Ouai Melrose Place - When Sephora did a re-stock of the Ouai Perfumes, I was able to get Melrose Place. This fragrance is the same scent as their Scalp and Body Scrub. It smells awesome! Something that’s really cool about the Ouai Fragrances is that the bottle itself is magnetic. I figured this out by accident and I just think that it’s cool that this company puts so much thought into their products.
Here are the featured notes in this perfume: Top Notes - Champagne, Pink Peppercorn, Berry, and Lychee - Middle Notes - Peony, Rose, Freesia, Jasmine, and Bergamot - Base Notes Amber, Sandalwood, White Musk, and Cedar-wood.
My next perfume to try….Fucking Fabulous by Tom Ford.  Fingers crossed that I like this one.  "Fucking Fabulous is a decadent, oriental leather with an intoxicating grip. It evokes the private exchanges where fantasies come true. It’s undeniably the most straightforward name for such a beautiful scent."—Tom Ford
Here are the featured notes in this perfume: Fresh lavender, Bitter Almond , Vanilla , Orris Root, Irris Flower, Leather
That completes my list of my personal favorites in the Musky Scent Family.
There’s just something about musky perfumes that I just love.  They say that everyone’s body reacts differently to perfumes. It’s just in our each unique chemical makeup. So whether or not I end up finding a ‘”signature” scent, I will most likely be sticking to the musky and/or spicy scent family.
xo, Annie

The Great White Silence (Herbert G. Ponting, 1922)
Cast: Robert Falcon Scott, Herbert G. Ponting, Henry R. Bowers, Edgar Evans, Lawrence E.G. Oates, Edward Adrian Wilson.
Back in the 1980s, Ted Turner provoked an outcry with his proposal to colorize the black-and-white films in his library. Filmmakers, historians, and critics protested, and with good reason: I remember watching Turner's colorized Casablanca (Michael Curtiz, 1942) and being startled by the paisley print on a blouse worn by Ingrid Bergman; I had never noticed it before the added colors made it stand out, which was certainly not the intention of the director, cinematographer Arthur Edeson, or perhaps even the costume designer, Orry-Kelly. Eventually, legislation put restrictions on such manipulation of old movies. But colorization was not a new thing: From the very beginning, filmmakers tried to add color to movies, usually by tinting the film stock a solid color: blue for night scenes; reds, oranges, and yellows for hot settings like Death Valley in Erich von Stroheim's Greed (1924); even pink for love scenes. Most silent movies after 1920 were colored in this way. But there were also attempts at more realistic coloring: For some of his short films, like A Trip to the Moon (1920), George Méliès used a technique devised by Elisabeth Thuillier, a kind of factory assembly-line of colorists who painstakingly added colors to the actors, costumes, and sets in each frame of the film. The technique proved too cumbersome and expensive as movies reached feature length. But it's one of the hallmarks of Herbert G. Ponting's documentary about the fateful Antarctic expedition of Robert Falcon Scott in 1910-13, The Great White Silence. Even though the whiteness of ice and snow is Antarctica's dominant feature, Ponting decided to hand-tint the footage he had shot ten years earlier, and thereby accentuated the contrast between human and animal life and the deadly whiteness of the continent. Color provides the life in the life-and-death struggle to reach -- and return from -- the South Pole. The images Ponting captured as the photographer for the expedition, using photographic equipment that now seems primitive, are the essence of the movie, and they often seem as fresh as if they were shot yesterday. Ponting was not allowed to accompany Scott from the base camp to the pole, which is from our point of view fortunate, as we might not have the record he made of the expedition now. But he filmed Scott and his fellow explorers as they rehearsed for the journey, trekking through the snows, setting up tents, bedding down, so he was able to give us at least some sense of what the men endured. Too bad that The Great White Silence is accompanied by a narrative that seems antique in ways that Ponting's images aren't. There's a lot of rather jingoist rhetoric about how Scott's expedition is a tribute to the English spirit, a credit to what Ponting calls "the Race," by which he seems to mean Anglo-Saxons. (One of the crew members has a pet black cat with an unfortunately racist name.) Ponting seems unconcerned with the irony that the doughty Englishmen of Scott's team failed to reach the South Pole before their chief competitor in the race, the Norwegian Roald Amundsen. Ponting's images of the animal life of Antarctica, seals and gulls and penguins, are accompanied by coy, condescending, anthropomorphic commentary that sets the tone for nature documentaries that followed. Still, it's an astonishing and invaluable film that fully merited the careful reconstruction that makes it available to us a century later.

Beatuified Abstraction
The house floating like a concrete butterfly.[1] A spartan symphony of poured concrete, concrete block, gravel, tarred piles used as decoration, concrete tiles, galvanized metal: the Bijlmer displays more gray matter than any other place in the world.[1] The floor is a patchwork: different textures—concrete, hairy, heavy, shiny, plastic, metallic, muddy— alternate randomly, as if dedicated to different species.[2] An innovative building with film and fabric.[3] This way of building was fit for a king, especially when combined with the antique repertory of forms, and strictly proportioned, symmetrical designs.[4]
Round it grew numberless flowers of varied hue, filling the air with the richest perfume, Coco saw the blue flower alone, and gazed long upon it with inexpressible tenderness, she at length was about to approach it, when it began to mock, and change its form. [5] “I have been a rose,” says the perfume.[6] There were flowers for colour and for perfume. [7] The lower orchard showed exuberant vegetation, with ornamental trees and fruit, and the trunks of citrons and oranges which reached right up to the windows of the emperor's room, and delighted him with their colour and perfume.[7] The trees are the true glory of the park some 274 chestnuts, flanked on either side by a double file of limes which perfume the air in summer.[8] Coco stood alone in the huge perfumeyard gazing quietly at the city.“This city can only become more Parisian” she thought “It is already on its way to becoming hyper Paris, a polished caricature.[9] The city is no longer supposed to function as the land of opportunity for the little guy[10] its about opportunities for big women like me.”
 Gathering of the guests
The event takes its course, the tension rises by the minute - the room temperature as well. [11.1] Coco finally appears. [12] So the rest of her children. She wore much make up, and was heralded by exotic scent.[13] Her children were wonderful. [14] Among many the most outstanding were N°5, N°19 and N°22. N°5 embodies the essence of everything that one has to imagine under a classic, floral powdery aldehyde one. She is the epitome of feminine beauty, fearlessness and therefore wearable in all moments of life.[11.1] She’s perfect,  smelling like glass. There is a clean transparency throughout her.[11.2] N°19 however is fresh faced, hers is a beauty in need of no masking, she's blessed with a warm personality. She is the epitome of confidence, gently wrapped in the comfort of a fragrance oozing the tenderness of iris, the delicate sweetness of orris, and the clean, just about soapish caress of vetiver.[15.1] But over the time she has changed. Her original formulation is much greener, sharper in a sense than those of today. The drydown is a lightly poudre'.[15.1] N°22 on the other hand is a woman who wears this as tall, slender, with porcelain-like skin. She wears her elegantly styled hair upswept, and she is draped in the finest silk garments.[16.1] While reflecting in its streamlined profile the boyish androgyne silhouette.[16.2]
Few hours into the spell, jasmine and peach add to the ball, juicy and crisp enough to not obscure the previous duo. At last, ylang ylang and vetiver make their appearance; one dance and they leave, only to return some time later for a goodbye take.[17]
 The rite
If there arises a fragrancy of smells or perfumes, they heighten the pleasure of the imagination, and make even the colours and verdure of the landscape appear more agreeable [18] with their sensibilized senses the group moved to a place where there are no mirrors, projecting screens, complex illumination effects and the sounds of a concealed orchestra suggest an infinity of forbidden space beyond the accessible parts of the villa. [19] It was really an escape into a fairy tale world that was sought. [20] Here the gods of mythology and the animals of fairy tales converge in[21] each other. The subject of xenofeminism, then, is neither woman nor human [22] This dream a fantasy of sensory gratification, confused identities, and commingled pleasures is a celebration of the self and its grandiose desires [23] Now that both beauty and truth are considered subjective among the intellectual class, “interesting” has become the new term of highest praise. [24]
An old man, uncrowned, but with curling hair, at work. [25] He is wearing his ritual costume, with decorations representing servitor spirits, and holding the drum that he used to induce a trance state. [26] He takes an empty bottle of perfume from Coco and performed the ritual. [12] The diamond was taken to be crystallized water and the old man mumbled: “a little frozen wässcrli,’ Anshelm 2, 21 ; fon diu wirt daz is da zi (thereby turns the ice into) christallan so lierta, so mau daz fiur dar nber machôt, nnzi diu christalla irglnot, ^[ei'igarto 5, 25; conf.”[27] Coco cries out in labour, when her new daughter Cristalle is born. [28] The causal potency of an idea, or an ideal, becomes just as real as that of a molecule, a cell, or a nerve impulse.[29] The abstraction becomes beauty.[30]
The rite is ended, and we have [31] a bright forest clearing in spring, a cool clear stream flows by, a certain humidity is still in the air, flowers blossom and exude their delicate scent.[32] It's a dance of passion, the water and fire each shaping first a separate, then a common impression in the air. Cristalle is utter sophistication. Enchanting, distinctive without being loud, precious in the way only great creations - of all sort - can ever be. Some days, nothing can compare to her. [17]

*dusting and sweeping out the dust from this account* Hi guys, long time no see!
The real reason why Law’s feeling anxious when he knew Jinbei’s joining The Strawhats lol (though really, it’s most likely because he’s wary of new powerful addition to his rival’s crew, that’s all).
This could explain why he tried so hard to make himself not feeling overly friendly to Strawhat Crew (it’s a lost cause, Law, just let it go).
