MAGENTA’S GET TO KNOW ME

I’M MAGENTA. YOUR NEW LIFE AND STYLE MOGUL. I’M KIDDING I’M VERY INSECURE. ANYWAYS, 5 YEARS AGO I HAD A BLOG AND NOW I HAVE A BLOG AGAIN. HERE’S SOME HOT FACTS ABOUT ME THAT YOU DIDN’T ASK FOR.

Who are you? I’m a 20-something costume designer and filmmaker with a penchant for carrot soup, outrageously retro outfits, Japanese psych rock from the 60s, ancient history, baking bread, being dramatic, That 70s Show, and escaping my problems through travel.

What’s your favorite drink? Almond Milk Matcha Latte! I swear I liked matcha before it was cool.

Where do you live? Somewhere ridiculous. 

What’s your favorite ~drink~? Whiskey Sour.

When’s your birthday? Halloween.

Did you like high school? I hid in the bathroom and listened to music or read history textbooks during any given class, or I would walk 30 minutes off campus down to main street and look in the antique stores or sit in the local coffee shop. So, that’s how that went. 

Anything we should know about you? I’m extremely uncool, and extremely insecure. I feel constant pressure to be hip and know about hip things but sometimes I don’t know about hip things and maybe that makes me... even hipper? 

Anything we should know in general? Social media is a digitally enhanced version of forming a mental identity of who you are and mistaking that for who you are.

What do you smell like? Marie Antoinette’s favorite essential oils.

What’s your favorite HTML color code? Currently enjoying #42f456.

What’s your favorite type of gore to make on a movie set? Sticky ectoplasmic green slime or Giallo style blood.

What’s your go-to makeup product? A red or magenta lipstick that can double as blush.

What’s your favorite supplement? CBD oil, B12, Magnesium Glycinate.

Favorite restaurant in any given city? Vtopia in Portland, OR is an all vegan CHEESE SHOP and CAFE. They have vegan mac and cheese GRILLED CHEESES. Anyways.

Anyways? Yes.

Why are you doing this? Because if there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s oversharing. (But also, I really enjoy talking to people and giving solicited and unsolicited feedback)
