// Yes hello Wikia curious about your take on the footage of Mishima History at the end of the story preview k thx bye (:
OKEY. I have NOT watched the story preview yet since I figured I'll just wait until the demo so I can play it myself!! But I did see some of the pics (as pics are hard to avoid lol!) and I will share my thoughts on what I did see.
I find this one very interesting. Not just because of the implications that the Mishimas were always destined to be Demon Hunters. But because "Azazel" here appears to have several heads, like the hydra. But my question is... why? Is this just for artsy reasons? Or is there something more? It reminds me of the theory a 4channer mentioned, that being that the devils could all be a "hive mind" of Azazel. And saying if that's true, then it could be that in Tek8 - we'll see at least 3 heads of Azazel. Zafinazazel, Kazuya (who could've lost his mind entirely to the devil gene) and Devil [Jin]. As I've pointed out MANY times already, Kazuya's tie clip looks like Azazel's mug. Now that there is confirmation that Azazel is definitely relevant in this story - this I feel that clip is very intentional, and that perhaps Kazuya is being influenced by Azazel.
Now if the "hivemind" theory turns out to be true... I guess I'll be okay with that! I was always more of a fan of the devils (Devil Kaz prior Tek4, Devil Jin, and Devil Kazumi) being separate entities from the "host" rather than just the host being corrupted by the devil gene. It maaaay kinda conflict with my own written ideas for DJ, especially regarding his role in the war, as I was trying to depict Devil and his troubles with individuality. Buuuuut, given that another point is that DJ was straying away from his original purpose (following Azazel's intentions, but with the plan to betray him to take over the world for himself) so - it could still be compatible with my own silly ideas. Yes, yes.
OKAY ON TO OTHER THINGS. NEXT!
The God of Thunder and Lightning apparently makes an appearance? Which people think this could mean that Raijin gave the Mishimas their 'electric powers'. Which I don't mind that idea much! After all, if angels and god like entities can exist... then why not! It could be that since Azazel picked the Hachijos as its "chosen ones" - other gods, such as Raijin, picked the Mishimas as their "chosen ones" to rebel against Azazel. But this also brings up the question on how do Gods and divinity works in Tekken? Like why was Azazel ruler of the earth and Heavens and how? What roles do other potential gods play?
Also since we're on the topic of Electrics... I wanna bring up how Reina mentions Lars' hair...
Of course, since Lars' hair kinda sticks up similar to Heihachi's. BUT LIKE. This also makes me feel like the Mishimas don't use hair gel and their hair is genetic and... naturally like that LOL. Maybe because of the electricity coursing through their veins? But that would also bring up the question as to why Reina doesn't have spiky hair... Maybe she uses hair gel LOL!
ANYWAY. NEXT SLIDE.
I believe I wrote a long post a while ago about how devils were likely Azazel's soldiers, or "knights." I feel this definitely proves that (with two devils by his side, and people, presumably humans, bowing to it). Especially because in the cathedral from Tek5, there's a statue of a knight that resembles DJ. And...
DJ often has a "knight armor" alt. Which I always thought was weird, because... why? So, it makes a lot of sense that devils very similar to him had served the role as Azazel's servants. And likely what Azazel was expecting with DJ in Tek6 (hence his total surprise and shock when DJ betrays him if playing as him in scenario campaign) But I wonder if that's true - if it's still compatible with the hivemind theory?
Finally... I do wonder. IF the Hachijos and the Mishimas always feud due to devils vs The Chosen Ones. Then... was Heihachi just unaware of this? Is the family history just kinda "lost" with time? Clearly, the Hachijos never forgot their history. But what I find funny is that if it's true that the Mishimas were always rebelling against Azazel and were demon slayers, and the Hachijos might actually be the ""bad guys"". Then that would mean Jin was completely wrong about the family being evil in tek4. This would mean that the family isn't cursed, but they're actually (at least at one point) were blessed and noble. Whiiich... tbh? I'm noooot really sure how I feel about that when really thinking about it. Like I don't really care for the Mishimas all being evil plotline anyway. Mostly because I always thought the idea of an entire family (or any group) just being Inherently Bad is silly. Especially considering most can say that Kazuya's badness developed from childhood trauma, Jin was never really bad until Tek6 and even then the games don't depict him as if he was "bad", Lars and Jinpachi were fine dudes who made some mistakes. Really, only Heihachi was the asshole LOL.
But I also don't know if I particularly care for them being Noble Warriors against Demons. Just because I kinda liked the idea in Tek7 that, after killing Kazumi, Heihachi became bittered by devils, and going overboard with paranoia to the point where he was throwing children off a cliff, and shooting family members. Some people didn't like Tek7's story because they felt it was excusing Heihachi's actions, as well as making him appear to be "the good guy." But I just saw it as his own trauma (killing his wife) as making him out to be a a monster (or at least a bigger monster than he was). A kind of cautionary tale on paranoia. But this is just really making it seem like Heihachi throwing Kazuya off a cliff wasn't an act of paranoia, but instead it was an act of Destiny, and that Heihachi was always meant to be a Demon Slayer.
And it's even funnier if true because I often mention how Jin being a Kazama actively rejects DJ. But if Mishimas always fought against demons, that means Jin is not one, but TWO parts of a demon's natural enemy LMAO. And if Mishimas were demon slayers... then uh... what about the Kazamas? Like they have powers that were meant to subdue the devils in devil gene carriers? Were they also given powers from some entities? If so, why? The Mishimas weren't enough? Did like the Gods conspire with each other to all say "yeah, fuck that Azazel guy."? And then there's Claudio's group who have been also fighting demons for decades, and uh... Zafina, whose family has been guarding Azazel's tomb? So like. Why are there so many humans destined to specifically fuck Azazel's shit up lmao.
Anyway, I feel like a lotta this is probs incoherent rambling. But I just had Specific Thoughts on Specific Images! Thanks for asking, tho! UvUb

Some interesting tidbits Iāve found in the past month:
Artifact Stories:
Millelith Set:Ā on the surface item description, the Millelith set appears to be just artifacts related to the Millelith.Ā Upon deeper reading, itās apparent that the set references a specific war that the Millelith troops fought in the Chasm alongside an unnamed Yaksha who died there.Ā This war may also be the same one fought against the Abyss 500 years ago.Ā I suspect we will learn more once the Chasm is released.
Thunderbird Set:Ā the Thunderbird set told of a story about a giant divine bird who could control the power the thunder and how it came to destroy the village that worshipped it.Ā In the v1.6 livestreamās Inazuma preview (48:13 in the video), it was revealed that Seirai Island isĀ āan island where some disaster seems to have occurredā.Ā Maybe Seirai Island is the place where the Thunderbird and the tribe that worshipped it used to dwell?Ā I will say, this guess could be wrong, because the description does say the site wasĀ ārevitalizedā, whereas in the concept art, the mountain is still very much destroyed.
Pale Flame Set:Ā this set features 5 stories, each about a how different person came to serve the Tsaritsa as a Fatui, possibly even as Harbingers (āThe Jesterā was mentioned by name in the story of Mocking Mask, which is an unmistakable reference to Pedrolino, the first of the Harbingers).Ā Each person seems to hail from a different nation of Teyvat, and each seemed to harbor some form of resentment or discontent towards their respective nations of origin.Ā The person referenced in the story for Stainless Bloom is related to the pyro element (the wikia puts this person as the Crimson Witch of Flames, and I agree); the person referenced in the story for Wise Doctorās Pinion is related to Sumeru (Il Dottore?); the person referenced in the story for Moment of Cessation probably came from Liyue; and the person referenced in the story for Mocking Mask is definitely Pedrolino.Ā I am unsure who Surpassing Cup referred to, but judging by theĀ ālong lifeā part, this person probably has something to do with Inazuma, which makes Scaramouche a good candidate, but itās also possible that the goblet is referencing someone we havenāt met yet.
Abyss Lector Design:
Ver. 1.5 brought us the Abyss Lectors, and something on their design caught my attention:
Notice the ribbons?
Now look at Lumineās design:
Similar ribbons.
The Unknown Godās design also featured two ribbons trailing from her back.
First, this immediately reminds me of my crackpot theory that I came up with a while ago about the present Lumine being connected to the Unknown God (maybe sheās a reincarnation of sorts).Ā Second, this reminds me of the revelation from the November 2020 event Unreconciled Stars about the skies being fake.Ā Then I remembered the Abyss description from the map:
Could it be that Celestia and the Abyss are actually one and the same, and one is simply a reflection of the other?
#genshin impact#genshin lore#speculation#crackpot theory#i know some of this has been discussed#this post is kind of late#but thinking about this stuff has been fun#so bear with me pls

do you know the timeline for tdp? the fandom wikia says that the dragon king was killed and the egg was stolen like 3 months before the show started? i thought raylas parents disappeared years ago or was that never stated?
From what I can piece together, Winterās Turn is the term for the new year/beginning of winter, aka December 21 - January 1 ish. And Callum states on the day of that first full moon in S1 that heās 14 and 5/6. His birthday is in July, meaning the story begins somewhere around the month of May, probably the second half of it, since his birthday is on the 15th, and kids tend to count fractions like that after they pass the date that matches their birthday date. Also, Rayla keeps picking berries to eat and those donāt just pop out right after the snow melts (unless theyāre moonberries, it seems, which she managed to find somewhere near that icy cave--ask me about my Moonberry Path hc, lol)
One full moon cycle has happened during these first three seasons, meaning itās probably the second half/end of June by the time the final battle happens. The moon is full again as everyone gathers following their victory.
Aaravosās intro was very misleading (a shock, I know), showing us that big fight at the border with Saraiās banners and Thunder attacking all those soldiers. Did that ever happen? Was that from the Fallen Star event? The Mage Wars? Who knows? It blended with imagery of sealing the border a thousand years ago, and once we knew about Saraiās death by Thunder nine years ago, that muddied the timeline further for some people.
Hereās how it went:Ā
Sarai died 9 years ago.Ā
Thunder died 6 months ago.Ā
Raylaās parents got coined by Viren on the same day that Thunder was turned to stone.
Big day for Viren. Puts me in mind of this moment later for Soren.

So there you go, anon, my best guess on the TDP timeline.

Batman #312-313. June-July, 1979. By Len Wein, Walt Simonson, Dick Giordano, Irv Novick and Frank MacLaughlin.
The Calendar Man is back in Gotham and committing one grand robbery a day for a week, with a new costume to symbolize what mythical god or planet for which the particular day of the week was named. On Monday, he dresses in a moonman outfit and steals handfuls of postage stamps cancelled by astronauts on the moon. On Tuesday, as Tiw, god of war, he robs Ulysses S. Grant's Civil War medals from a military museum. On Wednesday he robs another museum as Woden (or Odin), riding an eight-wheeled cycle to symbolize Woden's eight-legged steed Sleipnir, and uses a laser-blast lens over one eye to blast Batman's Whirly-Bat out of the sky. On Thursday, dressed as Thor, the Calendar Man steals a painting entitled The Storm King and damages Batman's inner ear with a sonic "thunder" blast. As it is, the only way that Batman survives this encounter is that the police were approaching before Calendar Man can finish him off and is forced to flee

While Batman rests up as per doctor's orders firmly enforced by Alfred, the Calendar Man spends Friday, named for the wedding-goddess Frigga, robbing a wedding reception, and steals the money from an ecology benefit on Saturday, dressed as Saturn, god of agriculture. On Sunday, a day of rest, the Calendar Man plans to take the Sun Express and escape with his loot, but Batman has anticipated his move and captures his foe at the railroad terminal.

Unaware to the public during Calendar Man's crimes, intruders break into a defense installation, gas the on-duty personnel unconscious, and take a binary code for America's new defense system from a computer. On Sunday night, the gang demands $22,000,000 for its return, and sends a similar offer to the enemy governments. The double-cross is suited to the nature of the gang's leader, Two-Face.

Specs, who stole the binary defense code for Two-Face, calls the police to try to reveal its hiding place after discovering that Two-Face has offered to sell it to the Soviets. But Two-Face cuts off the call, flips his coin, sees the bad side has come up, and has his men shoot Specs dead with a shot to his heart and a shot to his head.

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne makes a donation at the the Second Annual Children's Telethon, after which he invites Selina Kyle to dinner in a fancy restaurant. During the evening, Selina shows true intentions of forgetting her life as Catwoman and Bruce is willing to help her, starting a romantic relationship between the two. After the dinner, Bruce is summoned as Batman by Commissioner Gordon to help investigate Specs's murder. Batman pegs it as Two-Face's work and finds his foe and his two-man gang lodged, logically enough, at Apartment 2-B, 222 Second Street. He plows into the gang, but is interrupted by the arrival of government agent King Faraday, who tries to arrest everyone. Two-Face uses the opportunity to escape.

Faraday warns Batman that he is prepared to kill Two-Face and advises him to stay out of the case, but Batman says that he owes it to Harvey Dent's memory to try and return him safely to Arkham Asylum and Faraday grudgingly accepts Batman's presence. Two-Face, Batman, and Faraday all deduce that Specs had hidden the code in an envelope inside the huge piggy bank at the Second Children's Telethon.

Two-Face steals the code envelope and gets away, as Batman prevents Faraday from shooting the villain. The two argue again over tactics, but Faraday still vows to kill Two-Face if necessary and Batman comes along to make sure he does not.

From DC Wikia
First of all, I know Calendar Manās costume is impractical, but I really like it.
It is also good to get some general knowledge from comic-books (in this case, where the name of the days of the week come from, which is also fascinating as it got translated into spanish and italian, two languages that kept the meaning of those names, but with different gods).
What I really enjoyed from the calendar man story, was the sneaky plot twist about Two-Face. It was pretty obvious that it wasnāt part of Calendar Manās plan, but I didnāt realize it until the end of the comic. So, congrats to the artists involved.
On the second issue we have the first appearance of Timothy Fox. Nowadays, if I tell you Lucius Fox has a son, you will sayĀ āyeah, Lukeā. But that wasnāt the case pre-crisis. My guess would be, they didnāt want to have another Tim in the Bat-Family.
A few other observations, this is clearly the Batman run that influenced Tom King. Not only for the Catwoman thread, but for other things that will happen in the following issues.
Another interesting thing about this issue,Ā Dr. Douglas Dundee was the doctor that brought Bruce into the world, and he knows he is Batman, so he was a recurring character in Batman (and the Outsiders). With the introduction of Leslie Tompkins, the character never made it to continuity post-crisis.
I give these issues a score of 7.75.

Hello I would like to try reading the marvel comics but I honestly have no idea where I would start. Iām confused by all of the different comic versions? Series? Multiverses? Any recommendations???
When you are new to any fandom, Internet is your friend and wikia is your best choice to learn everything you need about a character. When you want a starting point you come to me. So this was a wise question. If you want to start with Marvel you need to know a little bit of history: Marvel has one main continuity that has been revised 3 times by my count.
If you want to read classic stories, the best thing you can do is pick up the collected editions of the classic runs, they usually come in the form of omnibuses. Anything by the main teams: The Avengers, The Fantastic Four or The X-Men by their defining creators: John Byrne, Chris Claremont, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby. Iām gonna leave you this little link here so you can check for yourself anything you might like any of those books is a good starting point.
Marvel did the first revision to their continuity by adding a parallel universe where everyone was younger and contemporary with the Ultimate Universe in year 2000, thatās also a great starting point. Youāll get a lot of new takes on classic characters and every book is bright and edgy, but beware: itās not the main universe! You can find the basics for it on this linkĀ Also a bonus tip: almost every aspect of the MCU is taken from this universe or itās an amalgam of elements found here with the classic traits of the characters.
The second revision came with Marvel NOW which opened the main universe to may aspects of the films to create some synergy between them. The books were pretty good, specially Avengers. This Marvel era ended with the firstĀ āquasi-rebootā that fused specific elements of the Ultimate Universe with the main universe to create anĀ āearth primeā of sorts. Everything that it great about Marvel NOW can be found hereĀ but I specially recommend Uncanny Avengers, Thor God Of Thunder and Secret Wars.
The third revision is everything that came post Secret Wars which has been basically renumbering/re-branding each time a new creative team takes on a character or a team. All-New Marvel NOW, Marvel Legacy and Marvel Fresh Start is the editorial team not knowing what to do to bring back the readership they have lost for becoming a preachy SJW wankfest editorial house. You are bound to find a lot of preachy comics on these eras, but also some magical gems that last too little like Black Bolt, Moon Knight and Black Panther.Hope it helps!Ā

This is all about percy jackson, one of our beloved demigods
1. Percyās Dark Side Everybody in PJO Fandom wondering, think, and say (or whatever, just like that, okay?) that heās have dark side.
but for me, he did, and he knew it when he knew that heās a demigod, a so of poseidon
Itās start when he killed the Minotaur. Every night, both in his cabin or Hermes cabin, he thinks why he killed the monster, beside to rescue his motherāand himself and all demigod stuffs why theyāre killed monsters. His dark side get stronger when he grow up. (Like, okay, I havenāt read the first and second books, but I know it. He beat the God of War, Ares, when heās fucking 12 years old. His dark side start get stronger at that time).Ā He knew it and he keep it in secret. Thatās why he act like jerk, annoying. Thatās why he became sassy. Because he didnāt want to his dark side control him.
And first time his dark side awakened when heās in Underworld (TLO)
His dark side fully awaken after heās bathing in the Styx and killed all the Hadesās troops. He killed all of it, and somehow he also enjoy it. And he finally beat Hades.
Okay, from that, we knew his dark side is awakened. After that, Percy get stronger, both his normal and dark side. He killed, with help form his hurricane and satyrs, Hyperion. He killed the minotaur, again.
Also, like Eren Jaeger, Percy also very easy to get angry when his friend killed or hurt, especially Annabeth. He can kill anyone or anything who hurt his gf.
In the next series, after he woke up form 8 months sleep, he enter the roman camp.Ā
Son of Neptune: his dark side are stronger than before. Like in the War Game, Frank said that Percy fight like a demon. And when he fight Polybotes too
Mark of Athena: Leo knew somehow Percyās dark side when Percy stare at him after he blew up the city. Also when he possessedĀ by those freaking ghost and fight Jason. Piper somehow knew that our beloved Poseidonās son have a dark side.
House of Hades:Ā THIS BOOK! THIS BOOK SHOW US HOW DANGEROUS IS PERCY WHEN HIS DARK SIDE ALREADY CONTROL HIM!! YOU GUYS REMEMBER HOW PERCY WANT MISERYĀ āDIEDā BC HER POISON AND HOW PERCY TOOK CONTROL OF ALL THE POISON AND ALSO HOW ANNABETH SCARED OF IT AND HOW SHE MAKE PERCY STOP!! (thanks to Tartarus bc of it, and their ptsd)
Blood of Olympus: Piper knew that Percy have dark side, after Annabeth ofc. Itās began when Percy accidentally blew up the shipās toliet bc sheās telling her vision. When Piper think about Jasonās wound, she also started to think, what happen when if percy want to being fierce? ofc she start to think it after she saw Annabeth daydreaming, thinking about percy and their ātripā to fucking Underworld.
So guys, if all of us is demigod and we enter the Camp Half-Blood or Camp Jupiter, remember this: DONāT EVER MAKE PERCY ANGRY OR WEāRE DEAD, i mean dead like omg-heās-gonna-kill-us.
2. Percy is the most powerfulĀ and most feared demigod, both in Camp Jupiter, Camp Half-Blood, and/or Olympus (and World) Iāve read all the Percyās ability in Riordan Wikia, and he has the highest strength from all the idk 400 campers (from CHB and CJ) and unknown demigod. He has hydrokinesis, atmokinesis, geokinesis, and toxiokinesis. His superhuman agibility, durabilty, and strenght also the strongest of all the demigods. Maybe bc heās the son of the oldest of Big Three, Poseidon, idk.Ā Donāt forget about his swordsmanship and fighting skills. He also bore the Curse of Achilles, make him stronger. (Iām not talking about his ADHD or his empathyĀ link or maybe he ever being a host for nekhbeth.) Somehow, he able to control it and donāt die. Letās talking about his demigod abilities :)
Hydrokinesis: his main ability. This ability included: hydrogenesis (he can create the water), underwater breathing, general hydrokinesis, water immunity and solidification, sailing skills, and communication.
Atmokinesis it make him to control the weather, but itās limited and not as strong as Zeus/Jupiterās kid. This ability include the electrokinesisā itās mean he also can control and manipulate thunder and aerokinesisā he also can control and manipulate the wind..
Geokinesis: itās make him to control the earth, i mean not Gaea. With this ability, Percy can generate an earthquake or blow up a volcano. His control for this geokinesis ability is not strong as Hades/Plutoās kids. But I believe when he finally get control of it, maybe heās stronger that Hades/Plutoās kid
Cryokinesis: percy can control the ice and snow or icy water aroung him, and make an icy hurricane. He also can manipulate the snow and ice with this ability. You can see Percy use this ability when he fight with Thalia (Titan Curse) and the roman gemigods (Son of Neptune)
Ā Heat Resistance: heās fire resistant, bc of his father oceanic nature (like the cyclops) but itās only for a few minutes. He still can feel the heat when he has longer contact with it, like lava.
Toxiokinesis: with this ability, Percy can control and manipulate the poison. Itās still a mystery why Percy can control it (just when heās angry), maybe because poison is part of water.
Percy also have so many magical items. Letās not talk about that. So, I mean, thatās why all the campers and the gods really respect him, except that Roman Bastard Octavian ofc. And, only Annabeth, his Mom, and maybe his father can control him. And thatās why all his enemies feared him and want Percy died. Percy is Monster Killing Machine.
Thatās all I want to talked about my fav PJO chara. If you guys have opinio about it, just rebblog it and said it :)
note: sorry for my bad english, im indonesian and lilbit fluent in english (speak) but nor for the writing thingies:(
