There's something that's been hunting me since I first saw it.

What's your interpretation of Jimin's reaction during the Vminkook live in Dec 2021- I'm referring specifically to Jimin's reaction after V said he was going to release a song with Jungkook? His reaction was super interesting, and so was Jungkook's.

We now know that V was playing around, and his statement wasn't true. Nevertheless, I think it caught Jimin by surprise, and my take is that he was a tiny bit jealous 😅 bless Jungkook, I think he was in a little bit of trouble there 🫣

This is a great ask, it’s something I’ve had convos with my friends about before! I’ve always found it highly entertaining when any variation of vminkook are together and get into skit mode or when Tae & Jungkook tease Jimin just to get him to go into super cute mode!

It’s what they do and have been doing for years.

This live was so chaotic VMinKook style from the jump. If anyone hasn’t watched it please do **everyone please watch original content**

It was chaotic because it was initially Tae’s solo live but he said how nervous he felt doing it alone and asked for staff to get Jungkook to join him.

Jimin then came as he heard Tae needed company and Jimin had been with Jungkook. Jungkook eventually joined later.

Due to nerves on Tae’s part and it being an unplanned live that Jimin & Jungkook didn’t intend to be having there were many times where they didn’t know what to do or the purpose of the live and would defer to Tae for direction. Tae had a running skit with Jimin about being the host of a show (the vlive) and Jimin and later Jungkook being his guests.

They also had funny moments where Tae would name drop different brands (this was funny as the group had contractual obligations with brands and they know in their profession they can’t name drop brands without consequence).

As I said the live was fun, chaotic but also at times stilted due to its unplanned nature of it becoming a trio live and nerves.

There was a point where Tae whilst trying to engage Jungkook tried (in my opinion) to run a joke with JK on army? I’m thinking he was hoping Jungkook and Jimin would catch onto it with him?

VMinkook love their role playing and teasing and even if Jimin hadn’t caught on, I do think nothing was done to intentionally exclude any of the three. All three tease each other in different combinations

So no, not jealousy in my opinion, Jimin has absolutely nothing to be jealous about. But confused and slightly lost, as to if it was another skit or really work related that he didn’t know about.

Maybe a tad annoyed with it being live and no hints that he was catching on to, to work with, giving a look to Jungkook like ‘are you guys serious? Why aren’t you giving me a hint on the joke’ or ‘why am I hearing about a song for the first time in a live? You guys aren’t making sense’ and Jungkook’s kinda like ‘I’m as lost as you are’ or ‘what did I do? I’m just going along too!’

Maybe he was probably also thinking to himself when did Jungkook have a chance in between eating chicken together, working out together, Jungkook coming to his room all the time?? 😂

Ultimately (in my opinion) Tae was mixing some facts together, which had JK quicker to the draw in playing along, but JK too was also confused at the beginning of their skit. When Jungkook caught on, he too teased Tae a bit and tried to get an expensive gift promise from Tae

I’m assuming that the two had been vibing together and having fun making little play songs and singing, which is why JK said “what is it?” And “How can we release that?”

JK sounds nothing like that and Jin who Jinkookers claim was the one hiding in that room definitely doesn't sound like that. But we all hear who the perfect match is, don't we?

Not to mention JK speaks immediately after the "you scared me" happens and his voice is significantly different. Those are two different voices.

It was Jimin hiding in that room. It was Jimin that JK had the sensual music on for. It was Jimin that JK had dimmed the lights for. It was Jimin's clothes and shoes and phone that were on the floor. It was Jimin's name that JK shouts before opening the door for V. It was Jimin who's dick JK was sucking had smudged JK's lipstick. It was Jimin and has always only ever been Jimin.

I'm not the first person to provide footage of Jimin saying this particular sentence outside of the Osaka Vlive but we really should dead this argument so i'mma still use this gif; Jimin is JK's boyfriend. Period.

QUICKIE - 2: Watchu Want Me To Say Tho?!...

[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]

I know, I know, I know .. I have blogs to complete, comments to reply and asks waiting for me to answer; I know. There are reasons for the lack thereof, of course, but today, today I will not stay here and bore you with My Lifes’ Whys, I’m currently feeling a heavy wave of sadness, which I am starting to finally recognise as a sign that my period is looming. Used to only have pain, but now I’ve evolved to heave-ass sadness ungracefully tiptoeing its way into depression, which given some personal stuff and very recent Tannie Jin specifically stuff, couldn’t have come at a worse time. But I digress, as I said, today I shall not share negative stuff.

Instead, I’d like to share a cute/funny/peculiar thing that I realised/noticed Jikook do from time to time when they start something with each other and one of them proceeds to perhaps take it a bit too far until the other is left in a situation where they are like: “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” NGL, most of it is usually JM, but JK has his fair share;source: Trust Me Bro. As this is a “quickie” I’ll bring up 3 examples for each. Let’s start with JM.

#1 … IT’S JUST A GAME THO.

Time & Place: RUN BTS 15 - Aired March 14, 2017.

This was the second episode of “The Spy Who Returned” 3 parts RUN BTS episodes. At the very beginning of the episode, they are playing a “tolerance” game where they are divided into couples and each has to say something that they don’t like or that bothered them about the other and the other has to not be offended and “sincerely” state that they “understand/I see”. The couples were: Tae & Namjoon, JM & Jin and JK and Hobi (Yoongi was the host).

JK & Hobi went last and though JK had nothing to say, Hobi did, lots to say in fact 😂, which in itself would have been enough but JM, out of nowhere, had the not-so-brilliant impulse to get up in there, uncalled, to question JK about a mysterious toothbrush. JK is clearly taken-aback like all of us watching I am sure given that he and JM are in the same team. Yet JM doesn’t stop, he clearly wants to hear something from JK in regards to … the toothbrush. JK does reply, and says that the toothbrush wasn’t his and JM stands there speechless, seemingly not expecting that answer … oh the confusion of it all! …  which is why JK’s “it wasn’t me” actually really felt to me more like a: “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” .

This to me in “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …”-vibe is very close to the “JK hugs me when he sleeps” moment which happened at the Sinchon Fansign - May 15, 2015.

#2 SO MUCH FOR PRESENTS …

Time & Place: FESTA 2017 - Aired June 12, 2017.

We’ve actually already discussed this in a different previous post. This was one of the few times where JK wasn’t able to even try and reply to something. If it were me, and we were just friends, you’d have to wait for me to gift you something on your next birthday: YES I’M PETTY. Yet, homeboi pulled up that same year with a trip to Tokyo as a gift, so obviously the problem wasn’t the question itself. What was the problem? We will most likely never know, but in that very moment JK’s silence was definitely a: “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” silence.

#3 SO YOU GETTING MARRIED UH?

Time & Place: WEVERSE LIVE in Busan - October 15, 2022.

This is one of my recent personal favs, because as opposed to the Jikook VLIVE - June 21, 2020, which also had to do with a marriage related question, this time around JK tried his very best to not divert the convo and hold his own. Yeah, he really did … but JM was not having it. He really wasn’t. How many of you have said “Yoongi Marry Me” for fun? How many of them have said “Yoongi Marry Me” for fun, including JM? At times even changing the Subject all in good fun.

This time around, JK simply mentioned that saw “Jungkook Marry Me” and all hell broke loose. Yeah, for some reason, JM wasn’t having it, and so began a little back-and-forth between the two at the end of which JM accepted that in summary JK “just saw the sign and meant to take no action”. JM smiled/laughed, got up and got out of frame. JK also smiled, watching JM leave, with a: “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” giggle, like I don’t even know what just happened tho! aaand he proceeded to wait for him to get back like:

Jiminah … 😬.

And now it’s JK’s turn. Differently from JM this young man is a tad more determined in getting his answers and JM indulges, for the most part, in fact I’ve noticed that he’s never just kept silent, but don’t let it fool you, cause at times, whatever answer he provides wasn’t the answer JK was looking for; lest we forget that JM is indeed the HYUNG … but yeah, let’s get it!

#1 SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PICTURE …

Time & Place: JinJiKook VLIVE in Osaka - December 15, 2016.

Jin and Jimin decide to have a candy-centric episode of EatJin, and Jimin seems to be a bit on his mischievous streak right from the bat, but Jin, being the outstanding eldest hyung that he is doesn’t seem to mind at all and cutely goes along with his playful dongsaeng. All is well thus far until the bell rings and, you’ve guessed, it is JK.

By this point Jin, like all of us, is still very much oblivious to any argument/quarrel which might have happened between JM and JK, one may even dare say that frankly my dears, he didn’t give a damn! But JM had damns to give and so he did, testing JK on the other side of Jin’s closed hotel room. Jin is now starting to get confused and to this point, JM has full control of the whole situation, until JK whips out his cellphone. 

Quite clearly JM didn’t take JK seriously, at first, he even egged him to post “whatever questionable pic” JK thought he had but that was Jin’s danger-alert-signal moment: no questionable pic was going to be uploaded on his watch and that’s how the doors were finally opened to the maknae. So, once JK got his way into the room, Jin, and us watching, clearly could sense something going on, but as for what exactly, nobody had a good clue. Like anything else revolving around Jikook afterall, for example, we may know that they once fought and JK ended up crying in the rain (FESTA 2020 - Aired June 12, 2020), but as to what caused the argument? … 🤷🏾‍♀️.

JM at this point is still trying to have it his way don’t ask me why, how would I know?! But JK was high on courage that day and ever so casually, the moment JM tried to leave the room, he once again whipped out his phone, pulled up a particular pic which we got to see later as JK did momentarily uploaded and it seemed he had something like a hickey on his neck and simply said “I took a good selfie” and JM quickly sat back down and replied “I won’t go then, all right” in a very: “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” resigned manner. Then again, if the selfie was just that, a good selfie, JM could have easily said “sure, go ahead and show them”, but that’s not what happened right? 

#2 STILL, YOU TURNED IT OFF 

Time & Place: Jungkook (eventually TaeJiJinKook) VLIVE in New Jersey - May 19, 2019.

Yet again, Jin and Jimin were up to their shenanigans with our maknae, who just wanted to show his face to ARMY. That’s all he wanted but the other two ended the stream. So what does one do? If you are a JM you post a quick apology video on twitter, but if you are a JK you start your own stream: obviously. 

This stream is supposed to be just you doing exactly what you wanted to do to begin with, show your face to ARMY, but then … all of a sudden there is a cough in the background and the plan folds when do plans every work anyways?!, immaright?.

Hence starts a whole convo summarising what just happened in Jin’s room leading up to JK’s “cutting off” during which not only does JM explain himself, he also apologises and lets JK once again know that he loves him. Yet, JK still stresses that, he just👏🏾 can’t 👏🏾let👏🏾 it 👏🏾go👏🏾 at which point JM decides that it is time for him to leave in a very: “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” fashion, more like “what else do you want me to say?!”. 

#3 I SEE HOW IT IS …

Time & Place: FESTA 2022 - June 14, 2022.

Emotions are running high, slightly tipsy, but still hella high as the boys start getting us ready to momentarily part from them. Within all of this there is a lot, A LOT, of banter there are even first official talk of a PJM1 and everyone was hella excited, ARMY and TANNIES alike except for a certain JK who playfully made it known that he didn’t appreciate not knowing about progress in said PJM1, not once, not twice, not thrice, but 4 times (didn’t put the 4th time in the pic because, you know, aesthetics 😌).

JM does try to explain that he’d told everyone that they were all more than welcome to go and listen to him working if they wanted though apparently JK wanted his hyung to go to him instead, but that is a different story … in addition, when Namjoon pointed out that Hobi will always be the first for JM, both JM and Hobi quickly worked together to deny the “accusations” but at this point I think JK was very much speeding on the “I AM UPSET”-train, so much so that none of it seemed to matter and he very much and very blatantly ended up telling JM:

At which JM did reply, quickly, shyly and all the colors in between, that “I am sorry” but in a very: I mean “Whatchu Want Me To Say Tho?! …” way, and who knows, were the cameras not on he might have had more to add, but, we’ll never know!

There are actually many more moments I can think of, and much funny at that, but this was supposed to be a quickie, and I can see that it ain’t damn … So let me just leave you all with this, go make myself productive, and not stress about life for a second or two. Hey Peach! It's "monitor" anon popping in again. Thanks for your detailed reply earlier—it clicked perfectly. Now, to narrow things down: do you reckon T and JK sneak glances at each other through the screen in those lives, or were they pre-recorded? Specifically, the ones titled "BTS' JHOPE Has Gold Hair. WE LOVE IT" and "[ENG SUB] BTS VLive 'Happy New Year with ARMY!'"

Ok so I think in the JHope has gold hair one, Namjoon is reading from probably like an autocue or more likely a screen dedicated to questions (and a translation) slightly to camera left. The main camera is right in front of them. Then there's definitely something just to the camera right of Jimin. They all keep looking over there, especially at the start which seems like when you'd be most likely to check what you looked like. I think it's basically a pre-recorded live, if that makes sense. Filmed all in one go as if live but not actually streaming live?

And in the Happy New Year one, Hobi says "It's so funny to see us staying still." They're definitely looking at themselves so that answers one question about whether they're watching themselves in a livestream.

Whether or not JK and Tae look at each other... I can't really tell! But there are a couple of times when they both look so don't let anyone tell you they definitely aren't 😂

Ohhhh, I'm so jealous you could go to a cup sleeve event! The closest one to me is almost 4 hours away. 😂 It's amazing that there was so many people! Ahhh, our Ateez are famous~! ✨

The lack of Korean fans blows my mind every single time I think about it. They have been so beloved globally from day one (and even before day one) but they still don't have that in their own country. It's insane! I'm glad they've embraced the 'global idol' title though. Everytime i hear it in an interview intro I'm like 'at least Korea knows they're truly loved elsewhere'. But the way they do sooooo much for K-tiny and still can't get the traction. It's crazy. No one is doing more.

Guerilla is such a good MV! What a great introduction! And it sounds so cool~ I really love that their songs span genres. I feel like there must be four or five different styles in Halazia alone. (Also, I agree. I'm typically not into summery, softer songs or slower ballads. But I actively listen to all of Ateez's songs. In fact, some of my consistent faves fit right into this category!)

Their story/lore is incredible. Sometimes I feel like I understand everything less than most of the members (😂) but I'm alllll about it! It's so cool that they have this one arc. That it's been the same story this whole time. Truly amazing. Concept kings. I'm gonna need a film one day. It's all so cinematic and intriguing.

Ateez, Stray Kids, and Taemin is an AMAZING (and very tempting) line up. But you should definitely hold out. Because then you get to see Ateez for 3 hours and that's 🥰🥺. And you know they actually know what a 'world tours' is. So, it's just a waiting game!

I saw them in London. It's always London for me!

Yessss, I did see the stats! They're grown so much, even in six months. And the first day sales looked amazing! I've been streaming on Spotify and having a great old time. Really, Atiny have done so well. Especially with buying passes for Korean platforms. It was so cute when Wave was number one because everyone was practicing. 🥺

I hope voting goes well and they win most of the music show awards they'll be up for. I want them to see that their efforts pay off at home!

Ah this took ages to answer lol - sorry; I was rearranging my room this weekend 🙃 and my app never notifies me of asks.

Anyways, yeah the cupsleeve was so nice. I'm lucky to live on one side of a pair of decently sized cities with a diverse population here, so we get a handful of nice events (one of the local gay bars hosts a kpop night monthly, for example).

I've been to a cupsleeve for Taemin, Stray Kids, and then I helped my friend host one for OnlyOneOf - they were all really fun but did not even begin to prepare me for the intensity of the Ateez one. I was baffled; the Skz one was held at the same location and it was a graveyard by comparison. I didn't take many pictures bc I was caught up chatting and there was no way to take them without a ton of people in the photo lol - but these are the few from the event;

I agree with you, regarding the global idol title; I think it's really well deserved and is serving them well. They really deserve more notice in KR though; it sucks that they get overlooked just bc of not being a Big 4; if anything people should pay more attention since those are the hidden gems, you know?

Bouncy has a kpop sort of vibe to it though, moreso than some of the other title tracks of theirs I've heard, so hopefully folks pay a little more attention this time around. I heard they got their first win for Bouncy this morning though! So that's something positive.

Halazia was unbelievable; I was impressed when I heard it and even moreso when I saw the m/v. I finally sat down and listened to their entire discography this weekend while doing cleaning and realized I genuinely can't find a skip song with them for the most part. 😭

Also yes!! 100% on a movie - this would make an amazing full length film or hell, even a miniseries; it's such a complex and well written storyline. I'm mad I didn't pick up the diary version of Outlaw bc I need to know what happens next. (I have all 3 versions coming but they won't be here for a while bc they're being sent with my albums from SHINee's comeback at the end of June; I could only afford one of their albums from the store here bc they were so much more expensive than they are in the KR shop I use. >.<)

Seeing the way atiny treat the group and each other and work together is so heartwarming. It's interesting, to have it be largely on the international fans' shoulders to push them to the spotlight in both the wider world and KR; but the teamwork is super fun to see. I haven't been this actively involved in a kpop fandom since I quit doing it for my og group (just stuck mostly to the sidelines, reblogging pretty pictures, etc for my other groups) - but I'm enjoying it so much more so far; I don't feel the same kind of guilty pressure that I've felt elsewhere.

They have so much content too holy - I've been trying to catch up and I feel like I haven't even scraped the surface yet lol - Every time I think I've managed to finish one section I realize there's x or y other things I missed lol. I did not even know the Treasure Film series existed until you mentioned it 😂 - but it looks like M2 did it; I love the games/variety type shows that company has done, so I'm eager to watch it! Also Woosan. Bless those two. They are so dumb. I love them so much. I would like to point out, that I did not want them. I specifically pointed out San to my friend when we watched Guerrilla and said "anyone but that one". (He startled me by resembling someone in an unsettling way when I first glanced at him and I didn't like it lol - he doesn't resemble said person now that I recognize them all tho thankfully).

But I apparently had no say in him, since he was the one that kept sticking out in everything and his personality is exactly what I gravitate to in a bias (the big oaf with a loud mouth and a heart of gold, always a little confused but he's got the spirit, scary duality) -- normally I do find a second bias within a few months that vibes with my first, but I didn't even get a say in that since not only did San tell me 'no, I'm right here and you're going to pay attention to me', he did it while dragging that scrappy little devil along by the hand V_V I couldn't just adopt him without Woo. (I was quite disgruntled about that one too - I don't bias visuals or dancers dammit - I have avoided them in most of my groups so far.

Plus! Where's my rapper bias??? I thought I'd add HJ as my second but nope, instead I get the 'friends as far as the altar' Tom and Jerry pair and 6 bias wreckers since none of them can stay in their damn lane for more than a few minutes at a time. 😂 (My friend said that'd happen tho so I can't say I wasn't warned).

I saw a post about some guy dating his army gf for about a year but he's getting insecure when she talks about bts when she gushes over him or say "shes in love with 7 men" and how much she loves them and he noted how passionately she talked about them etc and how he feels basically like there's always 7 ppl in front of him, and it made me wonder, if your partner felt this way what do you even say to them? honestly, when I say I love these men, I genuinely do, with all my heart. They hold a special place I don't think anyone else can touch. Not in a romantic sense but yeah idk how I'd explain, I never had to tell someone that lol. Curious how would u go about it? okay so, funny story, i actually did break up w my bf like 5 months after i got into bts 😭 the break up was a long time in the making tbf (like before i got into bts) but he also kept making very insulting comments about them (which was even more weird bc i was very into kdramas before i even met him and he even knew that and went to watch parasite with me in theatres and enjoyed it??? so it was not even like generalized racism (which is common sadly but not w him) it was just specifically bangtan???) and i think bts' love yourself message also helped me a lot in the process but he never actually said you love them more than me or anything 😭 point being, i feel like if my s/o did say smth like that to me i would atp be like you literally knew what you were getting into when you started dating me bc i'm very clear even with all my friends when we become closer being like listen. i love bts and if that's a problem then you need to get over it. like my friends get passionate over their specific interests like sports (which is a lot more than 7 people....) or gaming (which my ex used to do for 10+ hours on weekends instead of hanging out 👍) or whatever so why can't i gush about bts i don't understand? as you said, it's different types of love and as much as i love bangtan, it's not a friendship or a relationship in the these are people i actually know personally way? but obviously i really do love them a lot even if i can't explain it? and like all of my friends have been pretty accepting about it, most of them listen to bts w me if we're just hanging out (some send me album reviews for each new bts album/song that drops that i link them to djfkdkf), one of them even watched the ptd concert w me bc it was while i was in class so i had one earphone in and i've watched vlives with them bc it started while we were eating or smth 😭 i can also tell them in advance that i'm busy on certain dates bc there's a concert/cb and they're like yeah, makes sense so i wouldn't expect any less from a s/o if my friends are so adjusting and don't feel unloved by it? 😭 it's not a daily occurrence and when they DO need me to be there, i will be there regardless of anything else so at the end of the day, i think that's what matters like, as long as she's with him when it's important it shouldn't be a problem i think 😭

i had the same issue with hxh, though it was really good when i finally got around to watching it! i prefer the shorter shows (which is kinda why i like kdramas now, cuz they usually end around 16 episodes as opposed to american shows where they sometimes go on for years and years lol), sometimes it just feels overwhelming to have so many episodes to watch all at once. and i loved fullmetal alchemist brotherhood!! it made me cry haha

Kbands are so fun!!! I listen to a little bit of a lot of them, Day6 is definitely up there for me, as is the The Rose though I'm behind on their music, and N.flying is very fun! My favorite kband right now is Xdinary Heroes, they're so good!!! Haha I feel that... To me 5 members isn't bad at all, it's a pretty easy number. That's really cool that you get to see them live!!! Yeah I feel that, sometimes even if it's really good, a really long show can be a lot! FMA is so good but also so dark. I really appreciate the balance, but getting through the beginning is hard when it's so sad! 😭

HI! omg i LOVE that your a baby stay! I’m a predebut stay, and i really adore watching more people fall for skz every comeback, it's always so interesting to see what pulls people into them each time. and omg i could also talk about Minho forever, he is truly SO amazing to watch. His growth from their beginning until now has been so amazing to watch, especially how much more confident and clear his singing is. He’s become one of my favorite voices in skz as time has gone on, especially because a lot of his parts become my favorite part of a song because of how he sings them. And GOD his dancing really is everything, some times I watch this one YouTube video that just talks about how amazing his technique is, and how he dances with so much forethought in how he holds himself while moving between moves. It’s so fascinating and it really proves he’s one of the best dancers. I also love that Minho is the type of person that really likes to show how much he loves someone instead of telling them. The way he takes care of his cats, and is always cooking for the members, taking care of them in little ways with no expectation of thanks is so beautiful. He’s such a kind boy.

My bias is Chan, I don’t even think I could describe all of the reasons he became my bias tbh, but I find such comfort in him, and how much he loves the members that I just adore and admire him so much. His dynamic with Minho is one of the reasons I really love Minho too, because Chan tries to be there for all of the younger members, but Minho is really there for Chan, balancing out all the effort he puts in. 

Also omg it’s so cool that you got to see NCT recently! I saw them back in 2019 and they’re just so amazing live! They’re energy is so fun, and nil I totally cried because they did timeless when I saw them, and it sounded so pretty. NCT was a group I was so afraid to get into when I got into Kpop in 2017 because they were so huge, I think if it wasn’t for Mark I wouldn’t have probably put in the effort, he was always just so funny that I caved and decided to commit. 

Are you into any other Kpop groups? I’m a really big multi so I’m curious if we have more groups in common. Also, I know you’re newer but is there any concept you’d wanna see skz do? I’d wanna see them do something like high fantasy, with really pretty traditional outfits.

omg same one time i watched a video compilation of lino's improvement in dance from predebut (when he was a backup dancer) until now and it was soooo cool to watch!!! he has really improved so much. i also love seeing him teaching the other members dance (like this video, or the vlive where he's teaching stays the choreo to gods menu - i just sit there and watch him teach and don't even learn the moves cuz hes so cute LOL). also YES me too i love how he shows his love through his actions, i remember the one kids room video where changbin said that he would ask lino to do something and lino would be like nooOoOo i'm not doing that for you but then he would quietly do it anyway :(( i think lino actually reminds me of jaemin from nct a lot (which you can probably tell is one of my nct biases from my url haha)

nct was amazing live!!! their songs are so great as live performances, like sticker was amazing even though i dont normally like that song but it was such a great performance. and mark doing his cherry bomb rap live UGHHH. mark was so gorgeous....they were all so hot in person it was unreal 😭 and same, nct was actually the first kpop group i got into and i remember being a little intimidated by the amount of members they have lol, but someone showed me the 7th sense and i was hooked because it was so different from other kpop i had heard!!

for a while i was like with nct that's enough for me since they have so many members but here i am now and i am becoming a multi mess 😂 other groups i like besides nct and skz are txt, day6, p1h, svt, enhypen (i dont know all of enhypens names yet lol), and i also like kbands like xdh, the rose and nflying (again, dont know any of their names haha but i like a lot of their songs and might be going to a oneus concert and then an nflying concert in jan so i'll prob learn their names by then). i also found this group called nine.i recently that is prob gonna be my boy group of the month LOL, their songs are so good and they are so cute and funny!!! i am currently obsessed with their songs young boy and wasted youth, and the parallel universe choreo is also rly cool. they have one or two members who produce their songs i think? also i swear i dont have anything against girl groups haha there are some gg songs i really like (such as stayc, lsf, itzy, gidle) but i dont really know their names and i tend to bias bgs LOL

i'd love to see skz do a horror concept (idt they've done that right?), i saw their kingdom performance from last year (this one) and i looved it (also since i am a minho bias of course i must comment on his intro in the beginning lol please dont stare at the camera like that it's deadly for me). i like dark concepts in general haha and i like thriller/scary movies 😂 of course i love a cute summer concept too or a youthful concept as well (like nct dream is really good at that), but the hint of darkness always hooks me hehe. i would totally love to see them do a high fantasy concept!! i liked the traditional outfits that skz did for thunderous and god's menu, i thought that was really cool and integrated with the song/performance well especially for thunderous, so i think a high fantasy concept would be super interesting to see :)

I'm surprised how jikookers don't seem to talk much about Jimin and Jin's conversation in this Vlive about Jungkook's bag. By the way, I love this Vlive, it's one of my favourites of these two. They're always chaotically funny.

So, the conversation. They talked about how they both gave Jungkook a bag to replace the ugly bag he was using at the time and how Jin "lost the competition" when Jimin gave his gift to JK.

This is not an analysis, it is just an account of the facts.

Jin gave his gift to jungkook first, jungkook liked it and said he was going to use it during the tour but the next day jimin gave his gift to jungkook and jin knew that his bag had lost the "competition", according to jin because jimin's gift was nicer but... jungkook was using the ugly canon bag up to that point, I don't think he cared if one bag was "nicer" than the other. Interesting right?

This is where perhaps the most interesting part during the conversation happened:

Jin said that he still had a little hope that Jungkook would use the bag and Jimin started searching HIS room (at the beginning of the vlive Jimin said it was his room) for the bag...why would Jungkook’s bag be in Jimin’s room?

Another funny thing that happened is that when Jin asked if Jungkook would watch the vlive, Jimin in a shy voice... said no.

Jin also said that if the bag had been the size he had originally asked for Jungkook would have liked it better than the bag Jimin gave him, to which Jimin said confidently: No.

After this Vlive something interesting also happened. Although Jimin said that Jungkook wouldn't see that Vlive and therefore wouldn't know about the conversation he and Jin had about the bag, a few days later in Joon's birthday Vlive if I remember correctly, Jungkook made the comment that Jin had complained that he hadn't used the one he had given her. How did Jungkook find out?

The funny thing about all this is that neither Jimin nor Jin could get Jungkook to throw away the bag they tried to replace with their gifts. Jungkook still uses that bag although nowadays he doesn't carry it but one of his managers does. This picture is from December 2019 at the airport 😂

Besides the bday Vlive, another one that always makes me feel... confused? Intrusive? Is Jimin and Hobi watching the Dope video.... Jimin seems to be having a noticeably rough time with cop!Kook. Idk... it feels so awkward watching him, like when a friend is being really obvious about a crush. I cringe a little every time.

I think the only thing that struck me as "odd" in that video is the way he goes about describing Jungkook as being good-looking compared to when he says that Taehyung is good-looking. With Taehyung, he comments very matter-of-factly like it’s the most obvious thing in the world: “Taehyung is good-looking."

But later in the video, Jimin mildly overexplains when he says, "While watching, I noticed that Jungkookie is really good-looking," as if he didn't already point out that Jungkook was good-looking at the start.

Overexplaining can be a result of different intentions, but people also have a tendency to overexplain when they want to sound more casual about a thought/feeling they’re trying to downplay. I think it’s funny.

But if we're talking about feeling like we’re intruding on something, watching Jimin watch Jungkook's Black Swan photoshoot wins the gold medal for intense discomfort. I like that moment, but I also can't bring myself to watch it in its entirety. I refuse. 😂
