There are three sex scenes in Episode 2: one with Aeran (technically two because there's two variations of it), one with Melchior, and one with Veyer.

The scenes are not explicitly NSFW. It cuts to black before you get to any explicit sex acts, but there is quite a bit of a steamy lead up in all three cases.

If you want to know how to trigger them, best to ask in the Wayfarer Discord server. But in general:

Don't get drunk. There are no sex scenes on drunk route.

For Aeran's: you need +60 romance, +60 approval and to go back to the apartment early (don't go to Mel's party). You also cannot have told him about the letters or have killed Rhodarth in Episode 1.

For Mel's: you need to have flirted with him enough in both his pavilion scene and his gallery scene (after the fight). You need 10 romance points to trigger it, which can be tricky to gauge because his profile is locked. Talk to him, accept his invite to the party, go outside (you can play pavrat with Kit if you want), then don't tell him to leave you alone later. If you don't play pavrat, do not grab the bottle of wine and start drinking.

For Veyer's: Get a single impression point during the Lethalis library scene (best done by being sassy or snarky, or showing interest in the ring they're playing with). Tricky to do because the mechanic is hidden. If you have the impression point, they'll show up in the gallery after the fight with Aeran. Talk to them and they'll eventually propose a one night stand.

so im playing wayfarer and im not flirting with anyone but aeran and aurora (my PC) have been getting along and they have been taking care of him and making sure he’s ok and shit so their bond has been increasing and then i reach this threshold

So, when I said this was mostly reblogs, I wasn’t 100% honest. I’m not making a Wayfarer sideblog. But I’d also be remiss if I didn’t give this guy his due attention, considering he is now a full fledged OC, with tentative headcanons, a very persistent draft of a personality, a voiceclaim and now a commission to boot. He’s got two things over Siona (my poor underused gw2 necro) who’s been an actual OC for a while now so!

Without further ado, here’s Cassander Inteus, my chaotic main Wayfarer (go play Wayfarer it’s great), who also answers to Songweaver if you’re his best friend (who he’s hopelessly in love with) or Red Wayfarer (if you’re a wider populace and you’re looking for a merc; it’s fairly obvious too see why he got the nickname.) He’s an elf, he’s in his early 30s, skirts the line between gay and bisexual every day without ever leaning on one or the other fully. He’s also a former aristocrat. He towers over good 80% of people he meets.

He’s Vestran. He abandoned the aristocratic life in Vodena, where he always felt peculiar and odd and out of place due to his lack of magic, when Cenric came to recruit, begging his parents to let him go. He’s Sero’s student and considers them his parent way more his actual birth parents. With them, he first felt like he belonged; in the Spire, he first felt at home. And they pushed him and challenged him and his gangly self became something of a handsome bastard, with an uncanny ability to get himself out of every situation, be it with agility or persuasion.

Then the Spire fell and he was lonely all over again. Really, he doesn’t want to lose what made his childhood and teen years so good - a sense of belonging and purpose and family and acceptance - so he clings onto whatever he can find of those with no shame whatsoever.

He’s been hopelessly in love with Aeran for last two years. Aeran was the first to call him Songweaver for his habit to take perfectly good tunes and turn them into absolute monstrosities by smashing them together, though he’d be a halfway decent singer if he just stuck to one. Cass makes puppy eyes at him and hopes to gods Aeran doesn’t notice even when he tries to make subtle moves. Aeran really is all he has left at this point, as the hope of Sero being alive becomes less and less powerful by the day.

After the Spire fell, Cass tried his hardest to try and forge his identity as anything other than a Wayfarer to himself and fell back to Vestran (which is why he never really took Sero’s surname upon graduation and kept his family name, Inteus) and it led to two big tattoos on his arms that harken back to Vestran imagery and symbols. How successful he’s been is as much his guess as anyone else’s. He’s also vaguely agnostic/atheistic.

He’s a polyglot and has an uncanny skill in picking up languages. He’s got a weakness for curly hair. He’s trying his hardest to pick himself up after his life fell apart and more often than not, he’s struggling. Gone is the handsome, self-assured bastard from the Spire, replaced by someone with more than a century of life and a Sisyphus’ job of rebuilding what’s broken (and he’s more rubble than elf) ahead of him, though he tries his damnest not to let it show too terribly for the sake of everyone else around him.

Wait, how many different gala outfit possibilities are there? What determines which ones you're offered?

There are three base outfits, four if you include going in your gear. They're the same for everyone, so it's your player character's choice. What your MC wears will impact how they are perceived. Not getting dressed for the gala will immediately peg your MC as a Wayfarer/mercenary, which will change many of their interactions with various members of the court.

There are a number of different choices on top of the clothing choice that can also affect how your MC is perceived, and open up additional dialogue options and change flavour text:

Wearing jewelry. Only possible if you received some from Lars Drakehand in Rona in Episode 1.

Wearing your Wayfarer pendant (if yours got stolen and you never got it back, Aeran will offer you his). This will immediately out your MC as a Wayfarer to anyone paying attention.

Having a visible Wayfarer sigil tattoo (only possible with certain outfits). This will immediately out your MC as a Wayfarer to anyone paying attention.

Having visible body scars. This is only possible with certain outfits and not all scars have relevant flavour text.
