Alder Manor is what one might call an “addendum” to a park… a sort of illegal one but there aren’t “No Trespassing” signs EVERYWHERE so I like to think it’s a vague policy no one told me about...
Alder Manor is what resides on the other side of the brick wall that denotes the property line ending for Lenoir Preserve, and unfortunately, for the Wightman Mansion on Lenoir Preserve property, Alder Manor is the mansion and estate that really catch your eye as you walk through Lenoir. The brick wall has been vandalized enough over the years that you can pretty easily find a way over, around or literally through it and onto the Alder Manor property…. which again, I plead the Fifth if anyone comes asking…
The piece of land that Alder Manor resides on was the same ancestral home to the Weckquaesgeek, who were a part of the larger Wappinger chieftancy who generally lived in the Yonkers area as was the case for Lenoir Preserve. The informational plaques at Lenoir Preserve indicate that the land was originally inhabited by the Lenni Lenape tribe (translates to “true people”) and they called the area “Keskeskick”, which isn’t necessarily wrong as the Lenni Lenape is a broad name for any native who lived between essentially the Hudson Valley down to the area around modern-day Philadelphia. I don’t know the exact details, I’m sure they involved trickery, violence or misunderstandings, so I’ll put it in the nice way of saying, the Lenni Lenape were “pushed” out of the area in the 1600s and eventually a man named Frederick Philipse III, whose family had acquired the land two generations prior, then owned the property of what is now known as Lenoir Preserve and Alder Manor.
Fast forward to the 20th Century and Alder Manor is a little bit of a New York history geek’s dream come true. AKA, my dream come true.
Alder Manor is also sometimes known as the W.B. Thompson Mansion, named after William Boyce Thompson, a mining tycoon and later Wall Street financier in regards to mining who had intended to use this palatial estate as his weekend home…
This part though is roughly where I suddenly became DEEPLY obsessed with the history of Alder Manor.
Mr. W.B. Thompson, in all of his apparently ridiculous riches, commissioned the architecture firm of Carrere and Hastings, who are better known for being the architects of the NEW YORK FREAKING PUBLIC LIBRARY! YOU KNOW, THE ONE WITH THE LIONS AND BRYANT PARK OUT BACK AND THE BREATHTAKING OLD NEW YORK ARCHITECTURE?!!?!? You know which one I’m yelling about?
..... I'm assuming you're as stunned and excited as me...
Anyway, Thompson lived in the house until his death in 1930, when it then passed on to his wife who lived there until her death in 1950. (If you’d like to see his absurdly nice mausoleum by the way, you can OF COURSE find it at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, like everyone else famous from the area.) Upon her earthly demise, Mrs. Thompson legally willed the Manor and estate to the Archdiocese of New York and Alder Manor was converted into the first Catholic high school in Yonkers.
By 1989, the estate had switched hands again and was made a part of the Iona College campus due to space limitations in New Rochelle on the main campus. This was short lived, however, and the property began to be sold off to various developers.
The property has clearly been neglected and vandalized over the years, but since the late 1990s, the Irish Cultural Heritage Center, The Tara Circle, bought the manor and plan to revitalize it and turn it into their base of operations and an event venue.
Alder Manor has actually been used for scenes in movies such as A Beautiful Mind, The Royal Tenebaums and Mona Lisa Smile, which as a movie nerd, pleases me greatly.
BECAUSE OF COURSE, my favorite non-bird related part of Lenoir Preserve is NOT EVEN TECHNICALLY PART OF LENOIR PRESERVE. SOOOO, yes, I guess it is TECHNICALLY “trespa$$ing” but it’s owned by the Tara Circle, which is the Irish Cultural Heritage Center of Westchester and I’m Irish so I’m gonna say screw it. I get a free pass, and my free pass extends to my Italian boyfriend. LIVE LIFE ON THE EDGE (of a brick wall)! But also, don't vandalize things ever please.
It’s really long, but I think I make some valid points.
Supernatural was on for 15 years. There have been interactions with the cast, some crew, some producers, directors, writers, etc. due to the ongoing conventions and the existence of social media. Writers will talk about changes to scripts, actors will talk about filming, directors will talk about why they chose a certain angle.
Given that most of the fans/stans do not personally know any of the people involved or personally know anything about the things that are/aren’t going on, it’s weird the way some fans/stans speak so confidently about what happened with SPN behind-the-scenes, production, writing, casting, you name it!
Especially when it comes to PrequelGate. People will state with their whole chest, that their version of events is absolutely correct. One J is an asshole, and one J is an innocent baby. Which J is which depends on who is talking. It can be either or both. The only thing that all fans who have theories have in common is that there is a definite good guy and a bad guy.
But the Js are still friends. They say they got over it and forgave. Since no one has given any details, I thought I’d join the bandwagon and come up with a theory of my own. One where there is no good guy/bad guy. So here goes.
I fully believe that the story of The Winchesters was not meant to be an AU. It was supposed to take place between 15.19 and 15.20, with Dean and Sam finding out about their parents. They had to switch it to the AU version because of the leak, a new timetable, and the fact that Jared was no longer available. There is also a recent podcast (I don't have a link) where a writer from The Winchesters said that Robbie Thompson, the writer and show runner for The Winchesters, kind of knew that they were only going to get 1 season because of all the mergers/sales of the networks and studios.
Robbie Thompson said in an interview (https://tvline.com/news/the-winchesters-recap-season-1-finale-dean-heaven-multiverse-jensen-ackles-1234942742/) “There was the spot that takes place in between Episodes 19 and 20, when what happens to Dean happens to Dean… So there was an opportunity to tell stories there, but that just didn’t work for me because we wouldn’t have access to Sam in that way, in a way that we could easily explain or at least emotionally explain, and that just didn’t feel like it was a story that certainly I wanted to tell and none of us did.” (Underlining mine) They wouldn’t have access to Sam because Jared could not be involved. Not because no one wanted him, but because he just couldn’t.
The reason I believe this is because of the following.
It starts with Virtual Con (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADYwrZ787a0) held in March 2021. In the video, the question about Chaos Machine projects starts at around 23 minutes. Watch Jared’s face throughout Jensen’s whole answer. He’s nodding along, looking at his screen, and not even showing the slightest surprise in what Jensen is saying. He doesn’t because he already knows. To me, that is the face of someone who already knows what the other person is talking about. Jared already knows which projects Jensen is working on. He knows which alum he is talking about. So he just sits there and lets Jensen answer. His quip at the end that he will also be acting in it is just that, a quip for the fans. Because (supposedly) he is bound by a 5-year contract to CBS. He can not legally get involved in Jensen’s project with WB. He can acknowledge that he knows about it, but he has to show that he is absolutely not involved.
Next is the announcement of The Winchesters in June 2021 by Deadline. There were tweets by Jared that said he was upset that he didn’t know about it and that he wasn’t involved. There was also a tweet directed at Robbie Thompson calling him a back stabber that was later deleted. And, silence from Jensen, because he was unable to come online and address anything because he was on set in Canada.
Things were set in motion that were not meant to be put in motion for a while. I don’t think Chaos Machine was ready to start casting/filming yet. I think Jensen and Jared were trying to make it work with CBS so that Jared could be involved in the prequel. But those talks weren’t finished, or possibly even started yet. But the leak by Deadline, the WB/Discovery merger, and Mark Pedowitz leaving, combined to put pressure to do the show sooner, while Pedowitz was still in charge. If they waited, then nothing might come of Chaos Machine’s deal with WB once the new owners came in. Maybe they were waiting for Jensen to finish shooting The Boys to get together and talk about all this, but they still hadn't.
And this is what Jared was upset about. He thought there was time before the show would start, so was surprised that it was announced without him knowing. It also explains why he thought Robbie Thompson back-stabbed him. Because he was going to be a part of this show, and now he couldn’t. He couldn’t even say he had been part of the development from the beginning because it would be against his contract with CBS. He can’t even say wants to be a part of it now, because again, it would be against his contract with CBS. He’s upset, because he hasn’t had any communication from Jensen about this going through, and Jensen was also unreachable. So he vented online a little.
Once this narrative that Jared was never involved, and would not appear in it, spread, all of them had to run with it. Jensen apologized for not telling Jared. He said he was superstitious. He wanted to tell Jared, but he didn’t have his phone. That he was on set. That Jared couldn’t participate because he was busy. Etc. etc.
But, when Jared spoke with Jensen, and was (possibly) made aware that the news came out because it was leaked, and that they didn’t have time to clue Jared in, and (possibly) they were thinking of doing the show sooner because of WB, Pedowitz, Zaslav, etc., and that they were still in a holding phase, Jared forgave Jensen.
All of the above explains the inconsistencies and “lies” and “tantrums” and finally the forgiveness, and moving on.
I choose to believe that neither Jared nor Jensen are entitled assholes. They do not owe the fans any BTS details.
I’m sure people can tear this apart, but their theories don’t hold up either.
Your opinion on a thought I had over the weekend. Would an actor sabotage his own project to provide evidence to TPTB that the og show formula is what needs to be on air?
It still baffles me to this day that Jensen thought the prequel turned sequel AU concept of The Winchesters and the story framework of the 13 episodes would be a successful endeavor.
There was no effort put into the creation or marketing, especially by him, Robbie, Danneel or CMP production company. The execution was a small step up from a high school film project. The cast was inexperienced and apparently very inexpensive.
Jensen very quickly (even prior to the pilot airing) was pushing a reboot/revival with both Sam and Dean back on screen, and pushing it with more vigor and gusto than the TW project in production. It’s like he used the prequel/sequel project to drum up interest and excitement for a Sam/Dean reboot and to show WB execs why Supernatural (and J2) just needed a break.
Was this Jensen’s plan all along? Is that even plausible?
Thank you for your blog. I am a dedicated reader.
No. TV shows have 94% failure rates before syndication, so Jensen doesn't need to actively sabotage anything, the odds are always against you in Hollywood where even great tv shows get cancelled after 1 season and largely forgotten.
We were all baffled, Anon, it's what brought different SPN factions together in agreement and achieved temporary peace. Before that, nothing in the SPN fandom brings momentary peace than being united in fans’ hatred for the Buck-Lemming writing duo.
Jensen and Danneel probably expected Robbie Thompson to act like Eric Kripke 2.0 and manage everything for them. Where as Robbie expected Jensen and Danneel to pull their own weight. But there was no communication on expectations.
I think Jensen pushing a reboot/revival with both Sam and Dean back on screen prior to The Winchester airing was because:
The Winchesters was filming and will air so as far as Jensen was concerned, his work was done and he can focus on other things.
Jensen knew TW wasn't immediately accepted by at least half of the SPN fandom and tried to win them back with a promise of a Sam & Dean-focused SPN revival.
He wanted to keep SPN's money train running at conventions by giving rabid fans hope that SPN will return.
Jensen, my unasked advice to you is don’t go chasing waterfalls. The Winchesters was a Shein version of an AU fanfic.
WB executives cancelled SPN because they didn't trust a Jared-less SPN. Hollywood doesn't believe in breaks or letting a franchise "rest" unless it's losing money. The industry waits for nobody.
Honestly, that sounds too much like AAs/Hellers saying we got to watch The Winchesters so that we can get the SPN reboot/revival/movie. That's like telling a vegan," I like steak, so you need to like steak so that we get more steak.". We're going to keep getting steaks regardless of vegans.
Somebody asked me on another post I made about more context on what is going on with Jensen Ackles and the Winchesters series. I answered that comment, but I've decided to do so here as well because there might be some people who just don't know.
Now, this is not a timeline. This is a sloppy compilation of everything I have seen and heard over the last two years, since Supernatural ended. Feel free to correct me! Feel free to add to it! Feel free to share new information! That said, I am going to organize everything I know in the order I believe it happened. Without dates. Please keep this all in mind.
Also, spoiler warning for The Winchesters. I'm not pulling punches here.
It will be in two sections.
FIRST SECTION -Jensen, and the moves he made
The end of Supernatural was met with, well... "mixed reviews" would be generous. Everyone on the show stood by it... and Jensen did, officially. However, he was honest about the fact that initially he was having trouble with the ending. He tried to talk to the writers about it, I believe. But WHAT I DO KNOW is that he called Eric Kripke himself to get the ORIGINAL CREATOR'S take on this show's ending. Kripke gave his advice in favor of the ending, telling Jensen "You gotta think of the fans."
A little background on Jensen's relationship with his character, Dean Winchester. He has literally called Dean "the best imaginary friend [he'll] ever have."
Jensen established a production company with his wife, Danneel Ackles. It's called Chaos Machine and they formed a professional relationship with the WB in October 2020, approximately a month before Supernatural ended.
There is nothing that says that Chaos Machine has the copyright for Supernatural. That's probably why they partnered with the WB.
The Winchesters was announced with Jensen and Danneel Ackles attached as Executive Producers and Robbie Thompson credited as "developing" the show.
Jared Padalecki, as we know, had NO IDEA. I know I said this is a "sloppy compilation," but let's be clear about this: THERE WAS NO FEUD. Jared was upset and took it public on twitter, yes. Jensen promptly called him and apologized. Jared deleted the tweets and even reaffirmed their friendship. If there is any other issue between them, it has not been public from what I've seen. As we all know, the media likes to embellish. There was no "falling out." Just a misunderstanding that was promptly fixed.
The concept for the show was the years John and Mary were together. Jensen and Danneel stated it was a concept they had always wanted to explore.
The Winchesters aired October 11, 2022.
SECOND SECTION - Evidence of retcon/continuation/expansion
Dean narrates the beginning and end of every episode.
Dean appeared at the end of the first episode, writing in a notebook that had information in it that was taking him on some kind of journey. It was information that seemed to shake up everything, at least within the sphere of his parents (IT WAS NOT JOHN'S JOURNAL). He got into his Impala and drove down the road.
In this show, there is the Akrida, an apocalypse, preparation for that, and deadbeat dads (Samuel Campbell). They had to find Samuel and he had more info on the main plot, including a bunch of observational photos. John and Mary (who are very young and are just starting to fall in love) find a photo (right at the beginning of their makeout sess) of a guy.
This guy is super special - "Who is he?" "Who could he be?" And apparently, THIS GUY gave John a letter when he came back from Vietnam from his father, Henry. You know - MAN OF LETTERS HENRY.
WE NEED TO BE CLEAR - In the original canon, John never knew his dad was a man of letters and he NEVER KNEW Mary came from hunters. But in this show, JOHN KNOWS ALL OF THIS and is even HUNTING WITH MARY AND A RAGTAG TEAM OF MISFITS before they have even started a romantic relationship.
But wait, who is the guy in the photo?
It's Dean, guys. It's Dean Winchester stepping out of his Impala. Dean is the one who gave John the letter.
Dean is time-traveling. This photo was taken within the decade this series takes place, the 1960s, in case you weren't convinced.
That's all the context I have. I know ya'll are saying Jensen is gloriously unhinged. I know it is with love lol But he has an artist's heart, evidently, and his love for Dean Winchester isn't going to die. We waited 15 years for SPN to be turned around and well... let's wait and see what's to come!

Verna Hayes (TUH) | I'm very proud of her name. I was going to go with Vera until I found Verna on where else but behindthename.com. I managed to capture her in what's probably one of the worst moments of her life: heading to England after the death of her sister, but at least she looks cute. Her dress got more complicated the more I looked at it, so I simplified it quite considerably.
Tania Price (MTFL) | She's messy, but I still like her. She never goes anywhere in the fall and winter without her UGG boots. She almost wore them in the summer, but Mackenzie told her she'd never talk to her again if she did.
Wednesday Washington (MM) | She's adorable and I love her. That's really all I have. Unlike Verna, I didn't really put any thought into her name. I just thought she looked like a Wednesday and wanted her surname to also start with a 'w.' I'd like to think her dad put the same amount of thought into her name that I did. I also gave her freckles because more characters should have them.
Melina "Mel" Thompson (RT) | There's already a Mel in Rising Tides, but fuck her I like it for my MC so I just dealt with the awkwardness. She and Charlie are Cassandra's (TFS) cousins.
Nozomi Itō (WB) | I just realized her outfit has the same color scheme as Shaggy, but we're gonna ignore that. Hands down, Nozomi has the worst outfit selection of any MC in the game. It's bad enough that she gets kidnapped and has to put up with Bastien and Morgan's shit, but she's can't even be cute while she's doing it. She can't catch a break, which is a shame, 'cause I really like her personality. I'm also salty at PB because they finally decided to let you add special characters to MC names, but apparently macrons don't count.
Drew Deveraux (FA) | This pose give me early book vibes. Drew's definitely getting a call from their mother and they are not enjoying it. I gave them pants because I wanted to and also because despite letting players pick pronouns, PB still lacks variety in their outfits for masculine and feminine body types. Those Vans are for running away from the paparazzi.
This is an INCREDIBLY interesting article. some highlights:
this is the first time that they mention a sequel to the spn mothership in an actual article and not just a fan convention:
They needed to find a way to keep the mythology of Supernatural intact and allow for a future in which Ackles and Padalecki could "put the boots back on" if they so choose.
this next bit is hurting my soul to the deepest parts of its core:
We really are supposed to take what Dean says to heart at the end, that now this is an opportunity for these kids to tell their own story. Now, he's given them a journal with all of his thoughts and feelings, so we'll always have access to the same type of voiceover as needed from Dean, but we really want you to see how these kids do on their own
This is veryyyy interesting tho:
The thing we talked about a lot in the writers room and obviously with our partners at WB and CW is that in success, this just expands the Supernatural sandbox. And whether or not we get to tell more stories within this particular universe is above and beyond my paygrade, but I think there's always going to be Supernatural stories,
I LOVE that Robbie was inspired by the latest Spiderman movie cuz it seems like marvel might also continue the story of the multiple spidermans:
We did talk about recent multiverse movies, particularly Spider-Man: No Way Home. It really resonated, and if you'd seen the Andrew Garfield ones, like for me personally, it was amazing. It was really emotional, that moment where he saves MJ. We thought about that as sort of a touchstone of how we can make sure we're not overstaying our welcome and not teasing things that we can't deliver.
Jensen Ackles on How ‘The Winchesters’ Reveals New ‘Supernatural’ Mythology While Honoring Canon
How will The CW’s upcoming “Supernatural” prequel series find a way to tell a new story about Sam and Dean’s parents without undoing 15 seasons’ worth of backstory?
“It is a great question and it’s a question I’ve been asking myself for the past two years, since my wife and I first came up with the idea,” Jensen Ackles told Variety. “We were sitting around when COVID hit going, ‘You know what would be cool? If we went back in time and we actually saw the story of mom and dad and how they met — but do it in a way that skews the narrative so that we hit those waypoints that we established on ‘Supernatural,’ but get you from A to B, B to C, C to D in a way that is really unexpected.’ And then we found a way to continue that story in a way that might be surprising, but always keeping in our back pocket getting us back to the mythology that is established, which is not an easy task. It’s not an easy map to draw, but we’re doing our best.”
Based on the characters created by “Supernatural” mastermind Eric Kripke, “The Winchesters” takes place before the birth of the original series’ heroes, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). The prequel delves into how the boys’ parents, John (Drake Rodger) and Mary (Meg Donnelly), met each other and how they put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world.
Robbie Thompson writes and executive produces “The Winchesters,”with Jensen Ackles and Danneel Ackles also executive producing. Glen Winter directed and executive produced the pilot. The Ackles are executive producing via Chaos Machine Productions. Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios produce. Chaos Machine is under an overall deal with WBTV.
“The Winchesters” was ordered to series by the CW last week and added to the broadcast network’s 2022-2023 schedule Thursday ahead of its upfronts presentation to advertisers. “The Winchesters” will air Tuesdays at 8 this fall on the CW.
When Jensen Ackles, who is now starring on the upcoming third season of Kripke’s “The Boys,” and Daneel came up with the idea for the prequel, they first got Kripke’s blessing to take this route with the “Supernatural” lore before moving forward with the project.
“Both legally and as a friend, yes,” Jensen Ackles said with a laugh. “We had to get him to sign off because he created the characters, but I will say that he was very happy to. He trusted me and trusts these characters with the stewardship that I would have.”
Jensen Ackles and Padalecki starred on all 15 seasons of “Supernatural,” which began as a WB series before it combined with UPN to create The CW. The drama debuted in 2005 and concluded in November 2020 after more than 300 episodes.
now with everything that has been happening with HBO and the threat of scripted content being cancelled by Zaslvav and his kklan idk if Luster will end up on HBO.
but if it does here is my fancast:
Javicia Leslie as titular character Edie. this is hands-down a no-brainer. Javicia would portray the hell out of Edie. when i was reading i immediately envisioned her as Edie. Leslie would be the definition of A+ casting, i believe she would capture the blunt yet raw essence of who Edie is.
Chris Evans as Eric. can't really explain this one but he just gives off dad vibes. i kept picturing him as Eric as i was reading the book.
Rose Leslie as Rebecca
Faithe Herman (or an young unknown actress) as Akila
yes this is my fancast for Luster. i hope the show still ends up being made because i really love the book and with the right writers/producers/directors we could have our next 'Insecure' here. i just dont trust that zaslav guy, he's already making stupid decisions that is running both WB and HBO down the drain. guess we'll just have to see

What Are FM 24 Mobile Wonderkids?
In the dynamic world of FM 24 Mobile, players under the age of 21 are referred to as "wonderkids" (as of the pre-season start of the 2023/24 season in England). Football Manager uses a hidden rating system to determine potential talent – 200 is the absolute maximum rating any player can have, and anyone with a potential of 150 or higher is considered a wonderkid.
FM 24 Mobile Wonderkids and Most Potential Young Players
These players are the top 10 players under 21 worldwide, so you won't find true "bargains" here. This list is for managers who can spend some money, ranging from $5 million to up to $100 million. Also, make sure you've loaded the region they currently play in if you can't find the players on this list.
Young Goalkeepers in FM 24 Mobile Wonderkids
Starting with goalkeepers under 20, notable players include Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro. Playing for AZ Alkmaar, this 19-year-old has an impressive performance with 16 aerial duels and 14 individual tackles. Priced between $6.6 million to $10 million, with a weekly wage of only $650, he's suitable as a backup goalkeeper for a top-tier team or a starting goalkeeper for most second-tier leagues in major countries.
For future prospects, consider Jack Thompson or Spike Brits. Thompson, playing for Derby County, is slightly more accessible, and Brits, valued at around $300k, is a player with the potential to become one of the best goalkeepers globally within 5 to 10 years.

Young Right-Backs in FM 24 Mobile Wonderkids
The best young right-backs include familiar faces like Rico Lewis and Tino Livramento, both playing in the Premier League and holding significant value.
To find a more affordable option, look at Elias Jelert, costing $9 million, likely due to playing in the top Danish league. Elias Jelert, a reliable versatile player, has played in more than 40 matches for FC Kobenhavn, making him a starting player for most teams if you prefer him.
Although at the bottom of the list, Martim Fernandes is perhaps the most exciting. Valued at only $1 million with a weekly wage of $1.9k by FC Porto, this 17-year-old may take some time to become a first-team player but is the best option for long-term managers.

Best Young Center-Backs in FM 24 Mobile Wonderkids
As expected, center-back Levi Colwill is nearly untouchable with a price tag of around $150 million. Scalvini is about half the price, but still obscenely expensive, while Silva and Riad are both around $55 million.
In reality, most of these players are above $40 million, so, as in the case of Elias Jelert, you'll need to choose a player from a less-known league for a more affordable option. This is where Martin Vitik from Sparta Prague comes in. However, top clubs will start showing interest quickly, so be prepared to pay $10 million promptly for this 194 cm pure defensive powerhouse with 16 strength, 15 jumping, and 14 heading ability.
Despite being in the Premier League, you can look at Murillo from Nottingham Forest for approximately $20 million or Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split for $15 million. However, like Vitik, big clubs are already circling around them.

Most Potential Young Left-Backs in FM 24 Mobile Wonderkids
Alejandro Balde is not only one of the best young left-backs but also one of the best left-backs you can buy in the entire game. However, you won't be able to sign him as Barcelona has locked him up with a release clause of $536 million.
Instead, if you have the cash to splash, Destiny Udogie will cost you heavily. Still, as a starting left-back for top-six Premier League teams, what more can you expect? Working as a versatile wing-back, Udogie has impressive stats in speed, crossing, dribbling, passing, ball-winning, and technical abilities.
On the younger side, consider Lucas Jetten, who will cost around $10 million and is expected to come through the famous Ajax youth development. As a cheaper option, Omar Campos will cost approximately $5 million, while Patryck Lanza will double that from the Brazilian league.

Most Potential Young Defensive Midfielders
If you're a loyal fan, you might have heard of five players here; from Camavinga to Lavia and Faticanti. Most of them will cost you a significant amount – $50 million or more – except for Faticanti, valued at an unclear $2 million, making him an excellent choice for a wonderkid defensive midfielder.
For South American wonderkid enthusiasts, Moscardo is the name to go for, while Sattlberger and Gourna-Douath are two excellent options from the Austrian Bundesliga, both demanding a reasonable fee. However, Gourna-Douath is the stronger of the two and can regularly play for a top-tier team.

Most Potential Young Central Midfielders
In the heart of the midfield, you have a chance to choose among wonderkids. Jude Bellingham would have been at the top of the list, but trust us, you won't be able to sign him. Valued at $150 million with a $425k weekly wage, he's destined to become the world's best player. You probably won't be able to get Pedri, Gavi, or Harvey Elliott either unless you're managing a financial powerhouse.
Instead, look a bit lower: Archie Gray is valued at $17 million, Sverre Halseth Nypan at $7 million, and Ouedraogo at $11 million. Many players can be cut off from this list, so while the confirmed bets won't go for a $150 million player, you can turn to more reasonably priced players like Archie Gray.
