Pyrestar ; The star’s champion. Their dog. He is kept on a tight leash, a leash that binds him to the prophecy that so heavily weighs down upon him. The prophecy has warped his sense of being an individual. He is not a cat. He is merely a tool for the stars. He is driving himself further, and further from the ones he lives because he has to. He has to complete his purpose. If he does not, than why is he still alive?

Kestrelpaw ; Born as a product of an affair. Eyes have always been on the young feline. Eyes that drove her into a feeling of unease. Of unsettlement. It drove her to distance from her family, to be driven by hate. But… it her time came to an end, before she could experience life, and right her wrongs.

Moon 221-Greenleaf

Primcrest (63) decides to check in on the dark-cursed kits.  She knows that things have been. . .odd lately, with so many of them in the Clan.  Especially considering all the kits are unproven.  Their powers are evident by the fact that, even in the warmth of greenleaf, things keep dying around them.  Dawnkit (5) says that he feels like Xhosa (89) doesn’t like him much.  Echokit (2) says that he noticed Kestrelpaw (10) sharpening her claws near him.  And Flowerkit (5) just wants to be a leader like her namesake so she can have permission to boss other cats around all the time.  Alright then.  Rubbleheart (17) wonders why Kestrelpaw is so withdrawn and he asks her.  She explains that it’s not because she doesn’t like other cats: she just enjoys spending time on her own.  Dawnkit thinks that Safariaster’s (128) pelt is really pretty and makes his light up to mimic it.  Tumblepaw (10) is proud of being the leader’s apprentice and shows off the skills she’s been working on to the kits.  Echokit is amazed by the wave she conjures and makes one of his own that splashes her and is bigger than her own. And then Goldenkit (2) dries her off with a giant gust of wind.  Well.  That show off session didn’t quite go as planned.

Hey Kestrelpaw, how's the prey running in WindClan? I hope it's not too intrusive, but what's your relationship like with the other WindClan apprentices? Do you like your fellow oracle apprentices much? Are you excited to get to know Jaypaw? (stonefall-wc)

"Welllll," Kestrelpaw began as he stretched out and kneaded the ground. "I'm just glad leafbare is about to end, you know? I just can't with the skinny rabbits anymore. Not only are they not filling enough, they also come with this chewy texture to them. Eugh.

"Just today I was sharing the most pathetic looking one ever with my brothers. Antpaw was sulky because it was Harepaw who caught it. He claimed it was the snow that slowed him down and that Harepaw simply got lucky. He's usually so much better than that.

"Thankfully Harepaw isn't the combative type. He conceeded on that point quickly and then we carried on with the story. It was then that Antpaw revealed he'd sprained his paw but kept going anyway. That alarmed me immediately and I ran right back to the medicine den.

"I was gonna try taking care of my brother's injury myself but Barkface just took charge of it and instructed me to observe and learn." He deflates at that a little bit.

"Oh the other apprentices?" he asks. "They're alright, I suppose. Breezepaw can be a bit much sometimes, but when he's not in a mood he is fun. Just out of the nursery so he still has that rambunctious kit energy. And although Antpaw and Harepaw don't really like hanging out with Heatherpaw, I think they're a bit harsh on her. They'd be the same if we were Onestar's sons I bet.

"Oh! And there's the older apprentices too! I don't really talk with them too much..." He trails off at that, before perking back up with the next question.

"Willowpaw is sooooo smart and cool!" he says. "She helps me sometimes with learning oracle stuff. Much nicer than Barkface just snapping at me with impatience. And she always has fun stories about the apprentices in RiverClan.

"That Jaypaw fellow... I'm still feeling him out. I hope he and Willowpaw can get along, despite how much she annoyed him. I'm hoping he isn't that frowney all the time. He's pretty for a ThunderClan cat, and a smile would compliment that much better."

★ — Amurpaw, Cloudedpaw and Jaguarpaw, who have reached the age of six moons and joined the apprentice den.

★ — Violakit, Celandinekit, Timberkit, Fervourkit and Ivykit were found at the border, and taken in.

★ — Viperpaw was found and brought in as an apprentice.

RiverClan:

★ — Axolotbubble has birthed two kits, Tadpolekit and Salamanderkit as well as taking in a third, Newtkit.

★ — Flamehaze and Partridgeblight have adopted two outsider kits, Waxwingkit and Kinglekit.

★ — Outsiders by the names of; Scotty, Buttercupbumble, Watermelonsugar, Duchesskit, Silthym and Hollowkit have joined Riverclan!

★ — Totoro, now named Goldfishpaw has begun training under Solsticeglow. Ebonypaw under Drizzleveil and Duchesskit under Poppybounce.

WindClan:

★ — Crabpaw, Minkpaw, Cinderpaw, Glimmerpaw, Dewpaw, Sunpaw, Emberpaw, Kestrelpaw, Sablepaw, Vixenpaw and Stagpaw have all begun training as apprentices.

★ — Bluebelldancer has earned their full name!

★ — Nightsage has stepped down as a WindClan healer.

ShadowClan:

★ — Atlas, Umbrakit and Penelope have joined the clan.

★ — Penelope and Ivoryskies introduced a two-kit litter; Dimkit and Albedokit.

★ — Nebulapaw, Zephyrpaw, Verglaspaw and Lionpaw have began training as apprentices, while Harvestpaw has begun training as a healer apprentice.

★ — Poprock has earned their full name!

★ — Moonlitpath and Fishtoes have each departed from ShadowClan.

Moon 218-Newleaf

It’s nice for the Clan to have so many young cats running around.  Hopepaw (7) is hard at work training herself to become a mediator and Wildcave (101) has to remind her to grab something from the fresh-kill pile.  Creekstar (72), being pregnant, is getting cravings.  She thinks the marmot Hopepaw eventually chooses looks delicious.  Having shared the nursery with Primcrest (60), Smokepaw (7) is making sure that the deputy knows she appreciates her.  Kestrelpaw (7) is a little bit shy, but Primcrest admires how brave she is even if she would rather be alone.  Charipeak (84) is so proud of her kits and wants to explore the whole territory with Hopepaw.  Tumblepaw (7) has been having some weird dreams lately, filled with shadows and screams.  She explains this to her mom, but she doesn’t know how to help her.  Safariaster (125) and Queenyspeckle (94) are less thrilled by the influx of young cats.  Both of them think that Jumblepaw is a little weird and wishes that she would act more normal.  Queenyspeckle has also translated his grudge from the leader’s daughter onto the leader’s apprentice and glares at Tumblepaw from across the clearing.  Dawnkit (2) has decided to be annoyingly curious and is asking his mother where kits come from.  Awkward.  Flowerkit (2) overhears Vaxxstreak complaining about her behind her back and asks her mother what it was about.  It was about her being dark-cursed, and Primcrest does her best to explain it to her daughter, although it’s challenging.  Having dark-cursed cats around makes Vaxxstreak anxious and he tries to breathe deeply to no avail.  Chiku (152) is trying to help by telling stories about Yuccawillow.  It is not helpful and just ends up scaring Dawnkit.  He runs away and tries to hide from other cats with little gusts of wind swirling in his fur. He thinks that the ex-leader is going to come kill him.
