APOCALYPSE SEER TWINS COMIC TIME!

Putting the actually comic under a cut b/c it starts off with a Leo future dream and i want everyone prepared for that.

But yeah! The suggestion came from the replies on This post (thank you @antimattercontainment ! )

Content warning: (specifically for Leo's dream) attempted Krang possession and implied suicide.

so yeah, Donnie is fully aware of how he dies in the apocalypse timeline. He dies pushing CJ out of the way of some Krang goop, getting infected, and then self-destructing his gear before he could fully be possessed. He actually picked this way of dying compared to the original vision Leo saw before the invasion (which was almost the same except he didn't have a self-destruct feature and had to beg Leo to kill him instead.) He didn't want to put that sort of strain on his twin so he decided that, when the time came, he'd take care of it on his own. This was the biggest change the twins had been able to make in their visions (before sending CJ back and thwarting the entire apocalypse.)

I purchased a number of African Violets and Cape Primrose a little over a month ago, and for the most part they have all been growing absolutely great and also quite prolifically - two of them are already flowering and some others have buds coming up - EXCEPT the very first one that I considered...

My PT Wild Plum has been growing a lot, but in a really weird shape! And it turns out that what it is doing is growing a bunch of suckers, presumably because of the stress of getting mailed and then repotted. I dug out an old disposable scalpel I had in my bathroom cabinet and did some plant surgery on it.

I mangled one of the suckers beyond repair, but I managed to get four intact ones off of her, and since I didn't realize what they were and left them on so long, they all have little crowns of their own and will probably be able to root! As advised I stuck them in damp soil and then put them in a ziplock bag (with a little plant tag propping it up so the plastic doesn't rest on the leaves) to retain as much moisture as possible while they are still lacking in roots, and hopefully in about 1-2 months I'll have me some nice little mini violets to give away to friends and family!

Using an egg carton for this brings me back to elementary school, haha. I actually shifted around some eggs to be able to use this. x)

Still thinking about how someone at the party I was at last night mentioned Always Sunny in a conversation with someone else on the other side of the room and I was suddenly Activated.

Had a lovely time trying not to be too weird, but also definitely being weird and getting to explain the insane context for some of the stuff on the show to @pog-mo-bhlog, then realised that I had apparently got so excited that I was no longer overstimulated, as I had taken my headphones off and didn't need them for the rest of the night.

It's like a special autism bonus. Activate my special interest and I will successfully cope with an overstimulating environment.

Of course, I did then go home and watch some Sunny.

maintenance guy just showed up at my door unannounced to check out something i reported yesterday...on the one hand loving this prompt service. on the other hand, give a broad some warning. i am in my pajamas and the place is a sty. but he might actually fix a thing that's been bugging me for over a decade, so that would be nice. not that that was urgent, obviously. so i would have appreciated a heads-up.
