TUA Season 4 spoilers - confirmed episode titles, mentions of cast members seen filming together and speculation around plot in relation to both

We'd previously been give the episode titles for TUA's premiere and finale (The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want and The End of the Beginning) and they've now dropped the others (out of order).

The Squid and the Girl -I knew we were getting the Jennifer Incident, not just because it narratively makes sense but also the teen umbrella actors posted a group photo in Toronto during filming. Obviously the flashback is going to be a big moment (sidenote: please for the love of God don't have them dub Dante Albidone over with Robert Sheehan's voice again, I beg of you, it's so strange and distracting!) but do we think we're maybe getting a whole flashback episode? Or do we think it's a Ben centred episode featuring the flashback? Except Sparrow Ben lived so his Jennifer Incident is very different...buy there was that theory floating around about this Ben being an amalgamation of both Umbrella Ben and Sparrow Ben, that Sparrow Ben would start to get Umbrella Ben's memories, and there's the confusion of the teaser poster using Ben throughout but then saying Sparrow Ben at one point...

Thoughts on the ending

So this isn't going to be as in depth as what some others have done...just my own personal thoughts. So, spoilers ahead y'all under the break

I felt the finale should have been longer. I felt that, especially towards the end, things were rushed and just slapped on in a 'well this happened'. Granted, this makes me have a bit more fun time with my 'job' writing out what happened for my stories as I get to play around...but at the same time, I wanted to see more.

I felt there definitely could have been more with J and Tessa (or "Tessa's" relationship, giving a better reason of why she sided with them than "I want to live". I kinda did the "Oh...so she knew the whole time." response when I saw J's reaction to the Solver bringing the ship down. Personally, I kinda hoped that she didn't know, which would have gotten a lot of very interesting interactions ranging from grief to confusion to absolute effing fury that the Solver took another thing from her. Which would have meant J fighting alongside N and V rather than against them...which imo could have been a cool thing. The "I hate you but I hate this thing more."

V I expected to be alive. In one way or another. Either she was going to be fully ok like what we saw in canon (that oil drag away in the ep7 teaser clued me in she survived) or we'd have Eldritch V to deal with before messing with "Tessa".

I do wish that the "Bus Crash Trio" had more of a relevance other than delivering the gun to Uzi and Khan getting to slam the door down on "Tessa" and stop her from eating N's core.

Also literally everyone but Doll and Tessa living was just a "aw come on..." from me (though there might be a chance to get Doll back from what I could see since we see Uzi's HUD flash her purple, Cyn's gold and Doll's red.)

I felt the entire episode could have been at least ten minutes longer.

Now, enough with the complaining and on to the stuff I liked.

The horror and action was wonderful. I adored the final fight against "Tessa" and J. The Hallway scene with "Tessa" stalking Uzi and N while giving Callback Pings to call Uzi back to her was chilling. Not to mention the whole "LetMeInLetMeInLetMeIn" scene. (I wish these scenes were longer, make the Solver horrifyingly threatening as it's toying with them/hunting them down). Also. Uzi's core literally trying to rip itself outta her chest as she's getting pinged was just horror fuel.

V and N's PTSD kicking in when "Tessa" confronted them just MWAH! Yes. All the Trauma for the cute murder bots. V's shrieks of terror and panicked "I need to get away!" moments were absolutely gorgeous and I will gladly enjoy messing with that in my own way.

The callback pings also made me squeal because that was something my awesome friend @banyanas created for their DD headcanons and we all kinda went feral over them. I'm glad to see them there!

Cyn lived. Even if she's not in her own body, I am happy to see the silly little chaos gremlin alive. I am STILL of the opinion that Cyn and the Solver are not the same person. As I kinda got that vibe when Cyn was talking to Uzi at the locker...it was a lot more kind and innocent compared to the earlier battle. Maybe it was her resignation of being stuck like that, I don't know.

Cori, effing Cori. I love the purple spitfire, still my favorite character to traumatize and love on and oh my god yes the Khori content. I am so glad she actually lived. Khan still loves his crazy beautiful wife even if she doesn't have a proper body (yet...I'm not convinced they don't eventually give her her body back). Tsundere Nori was sweet as she saved him and oh I'm totally not gonna weaponize this :3

Nuzi confirmed! My Biscuit Bites lovin' heart is happy. (Picks up Orion and Astra) Look! You two are somewhat canon now!

Uzi kicking god in the screen. CROSSROADS CREW! LOOKING GLASS BEAU AND FLIPSIDE VERA YOUR GIRL KEPT HER PROMISE AND KICKED GOD IN THE SCREEN!!

A detail I haven't shared much but have been thinking on was Uzi's eyes now. How they're a gradient of yellow and purple. I...will admit I did have the thought of when she gets stressed/frightened/angry there are little yellow glitches in them even though the Solver is destroyed in Suns, Moons and Stars.

All in all, still kinda 'ok' on the episode. My favorite is still Episode 4 though 7's up there. I wish some things went different but eh, that's what my job as a fanfic writer is.

As it stands, Thank you Liam, thank you Glitch, thank you Michael, Elsie, Nola, Daisy, Fitzy, everyone. All of you did your hearts' work and it very much shows. If not for you guys, I never would have met people I am honored and blessed to call friends. And I never would have started writing probably the longest story project I've ever done.

Rotating questions in my mind

With the opening titles, trailer, and teaser for Good Omens 2, plus what a lot of people are considering a colossal spoiler, it kind of FEELS like we got a ton of information over the past two weeks or so. We definitely have more of a sense for the flavor of the series, and lots of people have already started forming interpretations. But there are so many questions. This morning, I was turning over "things I'm curious about" in my head and here are some of them.

What caused Gabriel to lose his memory and why? Is this something someone did on purpose, or did it happen for mysterious supernatural reasons? Is he going to get his memory back? Is he faking? What's it going to be like, having him around with no memory? If he gets it back, what will THAT be like? Will he change?

What is in the dang box?

Why would Heaven send Muriel to spy on Aziraphale, instead of sending someone who knows what's going on?

In the opening credits, what are the flaming animals about? The magic show? The tartan hills? The portion of the opening that takes place in space? The raining hearts? Thy Kingdom Come Airlines?

Apparently Aziraphale and Crowley try to "fix a human romance." What does that mean?! Like, why are they even so invested? Is it really Maggie and Nina? (I mean, I'm like 99.99% sure at this point, but no source has actually SAID it's them.) How is this gonna tie into the amnesiac Gabriel plot?

OK, so we're pretty sure there's a human corpse in that pickled herring barrel. Who is it? How are Aziraphale and Crowley involved?

Is there actual time travel, or a lot of flashbacks, or both?

Is Shax friend or foe or in her own category? Do she and Crowley know each other from before, or is she newly assigned to spy on him? What's Eric up to in those sequences where he's in the bookshop?

What's going on with Beelzebub? Did they experience their own equivalent of what happened to Gabriel?

Why is there a record machine in a pub playing only "Everyday" by Buddy Holly? Is this like what's going on with the Bentley? (That's not my idea. I saw someone else mention it. But I do remember Neil answering an ask saying we'd learn more about the Bentley, so that convinces me that person was onto something about the record machine.)

How does Aziraphale start a war (again?!)?

So I realized something interesting about the teaser for the next episode of the anime: Dazai getting shot by Chuuya is very explicitly shown in the preview.

At first I thought "Oh yeah they just wanted fans to know that we'd be getting to chapter 109 in this episode already". But then I realized that it's actually super weird that they would "spoil" the big twist (Dazai's potential death) in the teaser already. That feels a little bit like if had chosen to show a clip of Chuuya drowning in episode eight (which they obviously didn't - it was supposed to be The Big Thing of that episode, it was meant to shock anime-only fans and leave them with a cliff hanger that would have them come back the following week). So why did they make the decision to show (what one would assume) The Big Thing of episode 10?

And it's not even a subtle hint that only manga readers would pick up on. We flat-out see Chuuya shoot Dazai in the head in 4K colorized version.

People have theorized that episode 11 would actually wrap up this arc by showing unreleased manga chapters, which is a theory I'm inclined to support (what's the alternative? Storm Bringer crammed into 20minutes? Chapter 110 but it's just Aya falling for 15 minutes? A beach episode?).

However, one twenty-minute episode feels way to short for wrapping up an arc as big as this. We literally have four different POVs to follow simultaneously - five if you count SKK and Fyodor/Sigma in Mersault as seperate POVs. Half of the cast is currently bleeding out somewhere. So we'd have to assume that the last episode is gonna be significantly longer (probably fourty minutes, if you want a more or less clean wrap up off all the loose ends). Which in turn leaves us with the question - why not just do an episode 12 and thus bring this season to a standard BSD length?

But let's assume this issue gets fixed somehow.

Narratively I think it would make sense to leave episode 10 with the absolute lowest point of our protagonists. Which I guess you could say it does but that leaves 110 and Aya's little Beastzai moment out. It would be odd to start the episode with Aya jumping because her POV needs to be the first one resolved (since Bram controls the vampirism). It also wouldn't fit with the assumed episode's theme of regaining the upper hand in the battle/ with things looking better for our protagonists.

In conclusion, episode 10 will likely feature Aya's jump as The Big Thing for anime-onlys to be shocked about and in episode 11 we'll get unreleased content and the big finale of this arc.

Is this a theory I personally like? Not really because it leaves the possibility of an incredibly rushed ending to this overall fairly good arc. It would also take away at least a couple of months' excitement for new manga chapters away since these would already be featured in the anime.

But I think it is the best option we are left with. Unless Bones pulls a Haha Jk on us and there is no 11th episode.

The Boys Season 4 Prediction

I've been thinking about Ryan a lot lately, what the hell is he doing all day with Homelander as his dad?

(BIG SPOILERS AHEAD!!!)

I'm pretty sure he's not going to be attending all those talk shows or interviews any time soon, plus Homelander's on trial and that's been confirmed. Would that mean he'd just be sitting around in "his room" all day (Homelander's penthouse) and/either hanging out with other supe kids??

There's not a lot of options as a supe kid with Homelander as a father, but ideally it would be Ryan befriending Neuman's child "Zoe", who will be part of the cast in S4. And since the show often coincides with real world events (and based on the S4 poster) I firmly believe that Homelander will run for president after a successful trial where his win boosts his ego by a tenfold and lets him think he's unstoppable. Homelander will gets into politics just like Neuman, much to her dismay, and that will give Ryan the opportunity to meet Zoe Neuman.

So instead of Butcher trying to convince Ryan, Zoe spends more time with Ryan and therefore Ryan will grow more disconnected from his dad as time passes and he'll be able to think for himself instead of his father influencing him, thus making Ryan realise what an actual piece of shit Homelander is.

Most of this is based on teasers that we've received so far, and I really hope that we'd be going into the direction of letting Ryan grow as a character.

We've gotten 2/3 endings and are working towards the secret ending where you have to find hidden cameras while also replaying and seeking out the secrets we missed. This is seriously just insane ramblings aimed at no one i just need to get my thoughts out and suggest u scroll past.)

I seriously like. Am struggling to figure out the whole plot of ruin in an analytical story timeline sense. No i do not read or care about fan theories, i interpret the game and the lore by playing it and looking at all the clues myself thank you very much, so my interpretation of the lore is. different from most fans (you have to consider: very autistic, fnaf a Huge special interest for me. So when i analyze lore, i analyze as much as i can, every single secret. And i feel like a lot of people Miss main lore secret plot points. Im not trying to be a contraian, id love for the fans to have good theories. But like 70% of the time they dont. Or theyre dumb lil kids who blindly listens to mat pat)

my interpretation of sb is different from most fans and theories (mostly because I actually take help wanted and ar into account and can like. Use my brain to understand the differences between the vanessas (there are two. The murderer vanny, who we play as in help wanted, is referred to in ar, and is the one in the therapist tapes) and vanessa the nightguard, who's COMPLETELY unrelated and just an innocent nightguard who happens to have the same name and face as vanessa murderer (though it is also possible to me that like. Murderer vanessa chose to try to look more like nightguard vanessa in an attempt to shift the blame of her crimes, but we dont know this for sure.)and i dont think the therapist tapes are two different people because thats STUPID and it obviously is murderer vanessa (people just. Cannot possibly understand that a person being possessed by an entirely different entity might have changes in her prrsonality. Or that a person with anxiety might have something similar to selective mutism or at the VERY least: troubles speaking because of said murderer in her brain)

ANYWAYS THATS A HUGE ASS TANGENT. MY MAIN THOUGHTS AS OF PLAYING RUIN RN (Please dont spoil things for me im not completely done) is that mainly: i dont know who is speaking to us or who mimic is.

There may be two different people communicating with us with the vanni network (as evidenced by helpi changing eye colors and how like. Some of the motives seem conflicting?) Initially i was like "oh its glitchtrap or williams spirit or something." But that doesnt make any sense because glitchtrap gets Trapped and is worked against.

Even tho that was my first thought: i dont think mimic is burntrap, or william, or glitchtrap. But i dont know what it is, because there are no other obvious characters that it could be in mind (tho since its michaels old fnaf 6 restaurant theyre in, and we saw the blob down there, god knows it could be any number of old ass animatronics or spirits)

Another very fuckin obvious thought is: hey where the fuck is vanny. With the whole mask mechanic, the plot revolving around glitchtrap, ect, you THINK we'd see her st least once. And though she has a cameo in the bad ending which is clearly a vision/fantasy/trick, she doesnt actually appear. The INSTANT That we started this game i speculated: is she talking through helpi? The yellow eyes reminded me of an early sb teaser artwork where we see a close up of a vanessas face with striking, yellow eyes, and i was never sure the significance of that... But i dont think its related at all, as mimic seems to be the one speaking when helpi has yellow eyes. Is mimic related to vanny somehow? I wouldnt assume so.

Whats weird about vanny not being there is it makes it seem like shes not carrying out glitchtraps bidding, which is odd. Dont y'all come at me with that "Gregory helped her!" Crap, the burntrap ending is the canon ending so that never happened. It makes sense for her to be against him (shes never really been on her side, shes the RELUCTANT follower. She explicitly does not want to do any of the horrible shit, but shes beinf forved to) but i just. Gahh i cant figure it out

Though for our character such a change in story events would be actually quite frightening and stressful, since we'd be used to V.olo nomming us in a very endearing and protective way up until that moment, but now him devouring us after our defeat absolutely carries a more sinister and less willing meaning to it 🥺 I admit I wouldn't dislike it, but it'd definitely feel very different 😭

I imagine that he would eat us after the fight if we refuse to hand over the plates, or we turn down his offer to take A.rceus down together 🤔 and I mean, it's not like we could resist or something, being shrunken as we are in the scenario xD

I'll do my best to keep writing those wips tbh! I just tend to get stuck with making certain mechanics work in a believable way, like the whole shrinking-and-vore thing xD

Omg I know what you mean, it's always amazing to find other empathetic V.olo fans! Thankfully the majority of the people I know in the community feel the same way, and it's a relief ❤️

Personally I enjoy both sides of his personality tbh, but I despise those who ignore how he must have been feeling to come to the conclusion that the world he lives in is unsalvageable, and thus must be remade anew ;-; plus realizing that your own god decided you're not worthy enough of consideration must hurt a lot... ;-; ;-; ;-;

I can't get over how this show uses blood and death and trauma to pose as mature, but erects a protective field around its main characters that would make a golden age comic blush. It's elitist trash at its core, especially when it goes all-in on making the Gary Stu that dwarfs Wesley Crusher and Picard II into the captain's assistant and Q's most special boy.

It's cute how we end on a poker scene reminding us that we've ended up exactly where we were 30 years ago, except Picard has a son. We get these huge stakes and then...poof it's like none of it ever happened. I wouldn't care if the stakes weren't so pretentiously, pointlessly high.

TUA Season 4 spoilers - confirmed episode titles, mentions of cast members seen filming together and speculation around plot in relation to both

We'd previously been give the episode titles for TUA's premiere and finale (The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want and The End of the Beginning) and they've now dropped the others (out of order).

The Squid and the Girl -I knew we were getting the Jennifer Incident, not just because it narratively makes sense but also the teen umbrella actors posted a group photo in Toronto during filming. Obviously the flashback is going to be a big moment (sidenote: please for the love of God don't have them dub Dante Albidone over with Robert Sheehan's voice again, I beg of you, it's so strange and distracting!) but do we think we're maybe getting a whole flashback episode? Or do we think it's a Ben centred episode featuring the flashback? Except Sparrow Ben lived so his Jennifer Incident is very different...buy there was that theory floating around about this Ben being an amalgamation of both Umbrella Ben and Sparrow Ben, that Sparrow Ben would start to get Umbrella Ben's memories, and there's the confusion of the teaser poster using Ben throughout but then saying Sparrow Ben at one point...

I don't understand what's so top secret about roswell that they have to keep things hidden?? we aren't asking for major spoilers here to give away everything. we are just asking for some teasers, some photos, a trailer, a freaking synopsis so we know what season 4 is about. we just want to get excited about the new season. it premieres 4 weeks from today and all we have is episode titles. it's so hard being a roswell fan. still hoping for a season 5 too. i love this little alien show.

It's absolutely ridiculous how they keep EVERYTHING under wraps. It's dumb and certainly doesn't make people more excited for S4. On the contrary. Their Super Secrecy™ basically put this fandom into hibernation mode the second S3 ended. 💤

We got maybe a handful (if that many) of somewhat interesting BTS pics from filming S4, none of them ignited any kind of speculation tho bc we don't even know what S4's about (synopsis when???).

We know about 3 new characters - but since we don't know them yet, we're just 🤷‍♀️, and we'd rather know what's in store for the characters we've been caring about for the past 3 years.

In an act of <sarcasm> unbelievable generosity</sarcasm>, they shared S4 episode titles with us (they still haven't posted the title for 4x13 tho...) - sadly something that doesn't really allow us to speculate either bc in the past titles weren't exactly big spoilers for what happened in the episodes.

And yet they somehow expect us to be excited. I mean, yes, we're happy the show will be back, but in all my years in various fandoms, this was the dullest hiatus ever, it makes me so sad. :(

No one expects them to reveal major plot lines or post super spoilery pics or whatnot. This season we didn't even get crumbs tho. We're supposed to be 🥳, when all we've been "fed" has been nothing but thin air.

And now CW even posts a trailer for the show that airs right after RNM before we get one. That's just adding insult to injury. -_-

This is so very different from the other adventures with Markiplier we've had. This feeds into my slow obsession for the theory I reblogged earlier (Dark being the one who set up this story) because this is SO much more different.

Love Wilfords video! Very very on brand and just the right amount of timey wimey bullshit that I love to see. It also references a timeline branching off, which I appreciate a lot.

Now, on to the main attraction: your theory about the after credits sequence.

Friend I dunno how to tell you this but that's a bit far fetched-

I'm not sure how you got Annus from the shoe- sure there were references to Unus Annus in ISWM, but they may just be that. References. Besides that, there are other holes in this theory that I can't quite ignore:

The ringing.

The blue and red afterimages.

Dark's ring.

The voice line in the background. "So much trouble, for something so small." From Heist.

And besides that, Annus also wears a suit. We'd see both a white shirt and a white jacket around his wrist, while we see none. Then we have the point where we see Dark's closet being flexible: he changes multiple times throughout the MCU.

So, it'd stand to reason that this would be a teaser of what we'll see him in next, right?

Or, at least that's how I see it XD s o r r y-
