Yet, as James and Lily navigate parenthood together, they have to battle unprecedented forces that are making their journey as new parents a lot more difficult than they had anticipated.

Week 36

I was able to write 1607, for the epilogue of Fletcha. It's in the can and I just need @jroseley to beta the remaining chapters. I've turned my attention to another fic...woowho...Better Tomorrow...

I've written for Better Tomorrow 921 Words. I posted a revised chapter this week. I used writing as a way to cope with the sadness.

Week 36 day 6

Went to Ikea yesterday and I'm not honestly sure if I can still walk today. Ouch. Hopefully husband can take Z to school...

Trying all the things to get this baby out asap. Miles circuit, dates, relaxing my pelvic floor, sex (which after pelvic rest for 16 weeks is super nice to have lol).... 🙏 It's almost go time. Baby was 6lbs on Wednesday so should be about 6.5 now? Let's hope it will start properly next week, that'd be perfect. I want my blood pressure back. I also want things to have progressed well so that induction goes fast if that's necessary.

The thoughts are scrambled tonight

Where do I even begin the sorting

Sit with the feeling in discontent, they advise…

This isn’t wise, I counter, nonsensical truly.

There is this shame that is evident on my skin

All secrets buried beneath now distorting my complexion

consequences I carry in my curved countenance

covering my head, masking my shameful emotions

My words are spoken in apologetic tones,

broken.

From downcast eyes I cry,

not tears; rather

little drops of pear-shaped fire blossoms

landing on my lap.

Some consider my wounds

and associate the scars with the piercings from a too promiscuous mind

Although, I suppose, seeing this implies a broken trust

I am both validated and minimized, insensitive comments are the norm.

When you’re on the receiving end of love from a broken soul,

can it even be called love?

I’m always chasing an ignition, so it feels always and so it is very tiring.

I only have one dream

having it come true will cascade and drag me into my paradise

And that will be nice
