Okay, now that I'm almost done with my current Bowuigi fic, let me tell you my characterization for all the characters!

Luigi, the traumatized top. Going through his rebellious teen faze in his late 20's.

Bowser, the simp. Would kill and/or be killed for his husband.

Daisy, that roommate. The one you had in college that didn't go to college.

Mario, the worried uncle. Somehow got thrown into being a uncle to eight kids that belong to a guy he doesn't like much.

Peach, doesn't get introduced until chapter 9 out of 13. Also scared for Luigi's safety.

Rosilina, regal until she's had a couple drinks. Bit like David Bowie when she's drunk.

the lu ten+zhao toxic exes masterpost (context cus I know this is nonsensical: I read a fic once that hc lu ten and zhao both studied under jeongjeong together. I just took that concept and ran far far away with it- in my dai li lu ten au, lu ten's ""death"" was a set up orchestrated by ozai- carried out first by zhao, then finished by long feng and his men. zhao was chosen by ozai in secret specifically due to his unique history with lu ten, and because of his obviously ambitious nature. zhao helping set the trap by luring lu ten in to the earthbenders was zhao's first big step towards favor with ozai)

ehhh i feel a little iffy about people throwing around the term “codependent” when it comes to edwin and charles…like i think this is just what a genuine devoted partnership looks like guys. they’ve chosen each other for the rest of time, for better or worse, so of course they’re going to risk everything to stay together time and time again. it’s not about not being able to survive without one another, it’s about not wanting to. like any other committed relationship or friendship is. that’s just what true love looks like in any shape or form!

I personally think that Kikyo would absolutely be thrilled that Illumi found himself a man he wants to marry as strong, handsome and fit to be Zoldyck as Hisoka.

Hisoka is strong enough to be considered an equal to a zoldyck, which means strength is no problem for him. And I don't know about you but the way he assassinated that terradin man that was threatening to reveal illumis identity at the end of the election arc? CHEFS. KISS. THATS A WHOLE ZOLDYCK WIFE RIGHT THERE. And Hisoka is a certain type of fucked up enough to be a Zoldyck, even if he is... mmm.. self aware. Even if he himself thinks zoldycks are a special kind of fucked up. He'd fit.

I always see people make silva and kikyo disagree with illumi marrying hisoka but i soooo heavily disagree. Like what is there NOT to be proud of in Illumi's marriage choice. There is not a single other character IN THE ENTIRE ANIME fit to be Zoldyck than Hisoka Morow and I will fight people on that.

Something a lot of people also don't realize is that the Zoldycks are not a family that discriminates in the slightest (this is a whole discussion on its own but examples are how Kikyo is from meteor city, the butlers are taken from anywhere as long as they have the skill to work and one of the people who attacked kukuroo mountain to hunt the zoldycks now works for them instead. The zoldycks didnt hesitate to hire that mf they fr dont gaf lmfao)

there are soooooooo many misconceptions about the zoldycks in general and i think thats what aids the whole "the zoldycks would HATE hisoka" thing but like. nah. they wouldnt.

I also think about how Kikyo found Silva at such a young age. I bet she was constantly nagging Illumi and asking when he'd get a partner himself. Now he's got it, Millukiiii ITS YOOOURRR TURRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!

what i like about ten is how genuinely unfit he is as the doctor. his tragedy is that he's too mortal to be immortal. he's immediately set to crash and burn the minute he spawned in. he's like an outlier and an outsider in basically every way and tbh it's wild that he became one of the most known incarnations of the character + some later incarnations have taken after him bc his whole thing to me feels very "i wish i wasn't who i am but i am terrified to be any other way". twelve on the other hand feels so much more definitive. like this is what i feel like the doctor would be like on a regular basis and more incarnations (in this era of nuwho at least) would realistically be more like him. this is the doctor at their core when they're not actively trying to disguise themself as something else. they are ancient and tired and angry and it shows clear as day
