it is kind of funny that the same swifties that were upset at taylor being slighted by not winning soty and saying “ofc she’s lose against a grammy darling 🙄🙄” are the same ones who blatantly ignore the systemic racism in today’s aoty win. it’s not taylor’s fault like obv she didn’t personally invent racism or white privilege, but i have to laugh at people babying taylor for never winning soty while being like “people should stfu about midnights not deserving to win.”

it’s not surprising that swifties would ignore racism in the grammys for taylor (1989 aoty for example) but it’s genuinely frustrating to see them act like taylor is an underdog still. and the fact that people can’t have conversations even remotely touching on the fact that the aoty win was tacky and only given as a statement to her successful year without being called a hater is exhausting. i thought the same with harry styles snubbing beyonce last year. like a black woman hasn’t won aoty since 1999 and i’m supposed to feel sorry that taylor lost soty to another white girl?

Day 4 of The Tortured Poets Department countdown which means a solid 2 hours and 10 minutes of my day was happily and devastatingly dedicated to Red (Taylor’s Version)

This album was Taylor’s second peak and first magnum opus. Since its release it has been one of the top contenders of the ‘Taylor’s Best Album’ title, and to still be that highly regarded even six (almost seven) albums later just proves how amazing this work of art is. This album is where Taylor truly started crossing genres while never compromising her artistic vision or watering down her songwriting and it took almost a decade, but Red finally got a very much deserved Grammy. Although All Too Well (10 Minute Version) losing SOTY will forever be my personal villain origin story, it’s clear that nothing can tarnish the legacy of this album. And fuck sonic cohesiveness.

just like during 2024 MAMA awards, FML by seventeen truly deserves to become the album of the year and no doubt at all...and for me as a carat, this album or should i say this entire year is such a great year for them with lots of achievements they've got after 8 years they've been in kpop industry and they're still going stronger ❤️❤️❤️

there's a local cuisine that originated from a state that my family and i once going for a camping trip this summer and it is so popular among the locals which is called "daging salai masak lemak cili api" which actually a smoked beef cooked with a very spicy + creamy gravy.... and yeah, we went to one of the most popular reautrant there that serve that dishes and it's just a best experience i've ever been before, even i'm not able to finish it because my spice tolerance is not enough for the most spiciest local cuisine in my country (i mean i almost able to finish it actually because how tasty it was but yeah it's just too spicy to handle it 😭😭)

That record, well they can take it for themselves lol. No one is getting an award because they became most streamed k-song on spotify. The only option in west would've been AMA but AMA is not being conducted this year. Rest western shows are dominated by western artists. Forget about all soty categories in korea as it's dominated by girls there.

Where we have chance is 3 awards

1) VMA - best kpop - tracking time gives us a favour as it ends in July. Votes- WE NEED TO WIN IT NO MATTER WHAT. The only thing is they are shady af. Payment matters here. So if bh decides to pay there also we will be troubled. Next competition will be Jisoo - flowers. Blackpink already has a history in paying and winning VMA. But I hope we can win it with LC's incredible results and Votes.

Next is judges point. Idk if they'll vote for a English single more than a whole Korean album tbh unless bh involve there too.

But it was Charlie's song while Seven is JK's, a Korean artist featuring western artist. I haven't seen them considering Ice cream by blackpink either as it was English song with Selena in it. i've never hoped for any film (other than TKF) as much as i had hoped for this movie. is it stupid? i'm not sure. i just- while recollecting dhawan's soty years, out of the box and fantastic ventures like badlapur, october and now bhediya- seeing how much the actor had grown just made me root for him.

i was SO intrigued by the stree-bhediya multiverse thing and hoped for it to perform as well as the director's last horror comedy. but alas.

praying for this creature comedy to do amazing at ott. it deserves that and honestly, much more.
