"So a witch." Y/N pointed to himself. "A werewolf." He pointed to Jughead. "And a vampire..." He pointed to Archie. All move into an apartment together and the vampire and the witch are boyfriends and the werewolf and the vampire are best friends? I swear there's a joke in there somewhere. Maybe even a comedy show about it."

Archie and Jughead laughed. "Hey, you said you wanted to be normal. A normal life."

"I don't think normal qualifies here. Once a full moon, Jughead wolf's out. Archie drinks blood from a coffee thermos. And I occasionally set the kitchen on fire with my potions." Y/N said.

"Just gotta get the hang of it. We can do this." Archie said.

"I hope you're right, Arch." Jughead said.

"Yeah. We can do this. We just have to stick together. All three of us. We'll be safe."

"Speaking of being 'safe.' I assume you and Y/N were last night?" Jughead raised an eyebrow.

"I would ask how you know, but werewolf sense right?" Y/N asked.

"Yup. Promise me you'll let me find my headphones first before you go at it at three in the morning?"

Archie blushed. "We promise, Juggy."

You do realize riverdale erased a canon asexual and aromantic character for the sake of pushing that specific character into romantic and sexual situations, right? It's not okay to erase gay identities, why is it okay to erase other queer identities?

The title 'Archie's Mad-House' is rebranded 'Madhouse Comics' and after a brief period under 'Madhouse Glads' returns to that title, so when the digest series comes Archie and Jughead are not available for cover reprises.

Also the cover predates the Jughead turns into a werewolf series (big enough to get referenced on Big Bang Theory) by five and a half decades.

bestie NOT even i know what's going on since i am still on s1 of my rewatch BuT to clarify.....my jughead is slightly based off of the jughead: the hunger comics where he is a werewolf. when i say loosely, i mean it cause most of my werewolf lore i use comes from various sources. but yeah, he, his family, and the serpents are werewolves.

also my cheryl is a witch but apparently that's a thing now in the show???? Ok. hope this helps!

the reason stiles is closeted despite homophobia seemingly not existing in the teen wolf town is because they go to faking it high school where being gay is cool and hes deeply psychologically attached to being a loser so he cant come out and this would upset the delicate balance of the high school heirarchy he has attached his status to (very jughead of him) so hes gotta be straight because he would make first line if he was openly bisexual (same level of social and atheltic capital as being a werewolf) scotts in the closet because in a world with no homophobia holding ur bros tight and flirting with men is normal lydias in the closet because there is no equally popular girls lacrosse team

my biggest critique of archie fans is those who refuse to accept how wavy and unconcrete ‘canon’ is. ‘jughead cant be ace bc he’s had girlfriends’ .. jughead is an employed member of the time police who’s job is to save the universe and also a totally mediocre highschool student and a famous drummer and capable of alternate dimension travel and lives in year 3000 and is a caveman and is a toddler and is in a gang and is a zombie and is a werewolf and is the new owner of pop’s. i think we can handle him being aroace in some versions and gay in others and neither in others. i think thats ok

are you telling me we are getting jeronica accidentally dating and falling in love while stuck in an AU trying to save the world???

all that’s missing is Actress Veronica starring in monster movies and Jughead turning into a werewolf and we wont even need to manip the gifs anymore!!!

🎃 Sweet Pea/Reader; Werewolf AU

The Serpents were a pack. Everyone knew that. What most people didn’t know is there were smaller sub-packs within that. Jughead was still trying to fight Toni to be the Alpha, but everytime he went to challenge her; he ended up on the ground; still a beta.

While Jughead hated being a Beta you were more than happy to be one. You were dating Sweet Pea who was an Alpha; one of the sub-packs within the Serpents; it wasn’t as big as the sub-pack Toni had; since she was in charge of the older Serpents who weren’t in FP’s main pack.

There had been reports of a hunter from Greendale coming too close into the Serpent’s territory. Normally there were issues with the Northsiders trying to scare or attack pack members but it never went as far as hunting; they knew when to leave the werewolves alone. That or they didn’t know how valuable it would be to certain people to kill a werewolf.

Greendale knew; they had so much supernatural it was overflowing into Riverdale; or at least that was the rumor of how werewolves first came to Riverdale. 

The hunter was out; Toni and Jughead had been fighting again’ you’d been dedicated as messenger between them. They just had to pick the opposite ends of the Southside. Jughead was practically on the Northside at this point which was a whole other issue that Toni never brought up; she knew it would solidify his place as beta of the pack; or worse; his dad kicking him out.

It was easier to stay in your wolf form; it made travel faster; it made it safer Of course Jughead invited you in, Fangs was there so it was technically a meeting so you’re still human when you leave.

You’re still human when the hunter attacks. You shift fast; but not fast enough before you can feel the burning of a silver knife. It catches your shoulder and you realize this isn’t a hunter; well not a full fledged one. An apprentice making his first kill to become an official hunter; he was going to kill you, you realize.

You dodge the next knife strike; but can hear the snap when a trap closes over your ankle; it’s not broken; just sprained. But the trap is doing its job; keeping you stuck in the place. You’re confused; normally the hunters just kill werewolves. He’s unloading something. A cage, your stomach sinks; you wonder if he’s been told to bring you in alive; to kill you on Greendale's land so they can see; so he has proof he did it himself.

The cage snaps into place; and so do Sweet Pea’s teeth around the hunters leg. He screams; and Sweet Pea shoves him to the ground, growling and dragging his claws down the hunters front. You know Sweet Pea will make this hurt. You do your best to look away when the hunter starts screaming.

You can feel the cage lifting and you grimace as you can feel Sweet Pea’s hands prying into the trap. It doesn’t budge.

“We’ll have to go to the rest of the pack or Curdle for that to be removed; can you walk at all?” You’re not sure why he asks; but you find you can put weight on your ankle; just that the trap is too heavy for you to lift it.

“It’s fine I can carry you no problem.” He laughs when you squeak as he picks you up; you clearly weigh nothing to him even with the trap.

Sweet Pea doesn’t say much while carrying you, he doesn't say much when he brings you to Dr. Curdle to remove the trap from your ankle.

It’s only when it’s off and you’re back in the trailer does he wrap his arms around you, and mostly through sobs just repeats.

“I love you.” Over and over until you’re pretty sure he’s not even saying the words anymore and you’re also not sure if you’re dreaming he’s saying it or he actually is because you wake up in the middle of the night his arms wrapped around you.
