I'm not really in any of your current fandoms but *chinhands* Hit me with your daydream'd fic anyway. 📕

I'm cheating here and going to refer to the fics in my head that I've started, but never finished:

Animoops Werewuffs aka The Animorphs Werewolf au

Tobias was going to slowly "come back" from losing himself to his wolf, but would prefer his wolf form and view his human self as Strange and Other

This is obviously to tie in with the canon series

There would be further fallout and repercussions from Jake being made the alpha (and prince) of the team

The pack would come together and integrate with Ax and become an odd little Pack

Portals to the Otherworld would become more important, resulting in more blending and crossovers

The Pack would also eventually end up in a polyamorous situation

I think there's a very sweet (and possibly sad) subplot as the kids are figuring out all these heightened emotions, intense situations and brutality of war and now also navigating teenaged sexuality. There'd be some back and forth over who might start being sexually active frst and who, and who might hold back, and all the reasons on both sides.

The Pack would struggle with Jake as Alpha, as Alpha is supposed to be comforting and nurturing to the Pack, a comfort, and the Prince is the general that makes the hard calls

This is to correlate between Jake's later series dual role as "our friend Jake" and "our leader in battle who has to use us like pawns"

I would have done the David arc

It would have gone similarly to the original arc, but with the change of having Jake (the Alpha) actively plotting and engaging in killing someone who was in his Pack (a huge taboo)

This dissonancewould have led to Jake needing to revoke his status as Alpha or else drive the whole pack mad

This ends up with Cassie eventually becoming the (rightful) True Alpha and the Pack can finally settle into something more stable

This leads to Cassie having to reconcile her desire for peace vs her newfound overwhelming desire to protect (sometmes violently)

And from there we play with different factions, the teens figurng themselves out and slowly breaking under pressure

At some point we recreate Cassie stopping Jake from killing Tom to keep the yeerks from getting morphing powers, which is represented by Tom being bitten by the alpha (Cassie) and Jake goes to kill him before he can change

Jake doesn't kill Tom, Tom is able to now establish Visser 3 as an Alpha and now give Visser 3 the ability to make new werewolves

And we end with a traumatized pack just like in the series <3

Additional fun fact: Prefers a bow and battle-axe, but wears light armor for some reason + his circlet is a circlet of Archery

Heeeethus has a lot of pent up resentment and aggression over his unwanted destiny as the dragonborn 😔 It's why he's such a good guy most of the time but goes absolutely feral when in combat.
