I decided to check if there were similarities between my favorite characters and there were some surprising results. Apparently I seem to like the mentioned bellow character tropes the most. There were some that I found irrelevant like eating a lot, others were related to the plot and not necessarily the personality of the character and I also might have missed some (there are so many). In the end, these are the tropes I can see why I like them and I can think of multiple characters that fit them even if they are not in the list of absolute favorites. The tropes are in alphabetical order.
Anti-Hero: Vanitas, Count D. Gollum, Granny
Badass Bookworm: Kurapika, Evelyn, Fitz
Berserk Button: Mike, Kim, Grimmer, Jack, Vanitas, Jeanne, Kurapika, Sophie, Howl, Death, Vincent
Beware the Nice Ones: Sophie, Grimmer, Jeanne, Kurapika, Ripley, Death
Big Sister/Big Brother Instinct: Villanelle, Vanitas, Kurapika, Orso
Bitch in Sheep’s Clothing: Jack, Michael, Gollum, Savine
Consumate Liar: Vanitas, Michael, Vick
Deadpan Snarker: Ripley, Evie, Michael, Hideko, Death, Ardee, Orso
Defrosting Ice Queen: Jeanne, Sybel, Hideko
Determinator: Sophie, Grimmer, Jeanne, Kurapika, Ripley, Death, Evelyn, Gollum, Fitz
Hero with bad publicity: Vanitas, Kurapika, Orso, Fitz (in contrast Savine is Villain with good publicity :D)
Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Vanitas, Ripley, Michael, Howl, Granny, Jezal
Living Lie Detector: Kim, Jack, Kurapika
Manipulative Bastard: Jack, Vanitas, Michael, Death, Savine, Vincent, Barma
Nerves of Steel: Mike, Jeanne, Michael, Orso
Stepford Smiler: Grimmer, Jack, Vincent, Vanitas (I admit I like this in manga/anime characters...)
The Ace: Mike, Kurapika, Fitz, Bee
The Chessmaster: Jack, Michael, Savine, Vincent
Troll: Villanelle, Vanitas, Michael
Some of my favorites don’t even show up in these tropes, but that is also because the Realm of the Elderlings series is really empty in that site. Anyways,
MAJOR TROPES I LIKE (More than 4 characters):
Berserk Button, Beware the Nice Ones, Deadpan Snarker, Determinator, Jerk with a Heart of Gold and Manipulative Bastard.
Makes sense tbh XD I will keep updating this list ahah
Major Plot Tropes I like (in order):
Foreshadowing, Bittersweet Ending, Abusive Parents (for some reason my fav books have a lot of that...), First-Person Perspective, Earn Your Happy Ending, Deal with the Devil, Checkhov's Gun, Unreliable Narrator, Functional Magic, Decadent Court, Even Evil Has Loved Ones, Gothic Horror, Gray and Grey Morality, Hero of Another Story, I want my Beloved to be Happy, I just want to have friends

So modern time fake couple AU!West/Glokta (expired visa, undercover mission, you name it) where everybody rolls eyes with “huh ur kidding who’d marry this cripple” and decent, easy to fluster, don’t-know-how-to-do-proper-sweet-talk West has to provide scandalously specific details to persuade people that hey, this is my Mr. Right, I love him even after his fall, especially after his fall. And he is surprisingly convincing. Like, convincing more than a respected Lord Marshal laying out his plans. Convincing to a degree that even Jezal sends his blessings through gritted teeth, and Terez with her gaydar turned up warmly squeezes Glokta’s hand, and Ardee wonders not for the first time how much fantasy her cowardly brother unintentionally blends into his story. That’s to say, Collem West could almost let himself believe what he claims to have happened when he is not grabbing the collars of those doubtful (e.g. Ladisla), yelling.
And say one talent of the said cripple, say he is a PDA genius - if just to disgust the gossipy audience away, if just to disgust this liar of a husband away.
Bonus: 9-year-ago!setting when they faked relationship for the first time to get restaurant discount and Glokta was the one abruptly proposing this shitty idea because unlike what his best friend believed, he wasn’t totally blind, he knew well about little Collem’s tight budget and wounded pride. But of course he was totally blind by casually taking the other man’s hand breathing “what do you say to a candlelight dinner?”
