Fright Twilight (the dumbest title) part 3

Part 3 of @julielilac gifset, even though this isn’t part of the gif set and I just wanted to write something kinda angsty.

Though the Charley text was a bit of a mood spoiler, on Aro’s part at least, it didn’t stop the two from continuing to make out, groping, dry humping, and all that good stuff, just minus the main event. It wasn’t until the movie was about to wrap up did the vampire and hunter finally pull apart, their clothing a disheveled mess. Sitting up Peter didn’t bother fixing his now splayed open robe as Aro smoothed out the wrinkles in his dress shirt and re-tucked it into the waist of his pants. Glancing over at the clock Peter saw that dinner time had rolled around so he grabbed his phone and ordered out, ‘cause there was still no Goddamn food in his house! When the delivery person arrived Aro was the one to answer the door, since Peter still hadn’t fixed his robe and was pretty much naked because of it, and bring the food into the small dining room. Setting the food on the table Aro took a seat at the opposite Peter contently watching the hunter as he ate. Once Peters dinner was finished the two migrated back into the living room the hunter pulling up Netflix on the T.V. so he could watch That 70’s Show (again, because why not. I fucking love Hyde) starting from season one and binging it until he was almost finished with it when he realised that it was well past midnight and with a nudge and a look from Aro he reluctantly got up to go to bed. This time, however, Peter remembered to actually close the stupid fucking blinds as he threw off his robe and got into bed while Aro settled in next to him, having slipped into one of Peters shirts and a pair of his rarely worn boxers. “Goodnight, darling” Aro said, leaning over to give the other a kiss on the cheek, that the hunter feigned disgust over “Fuck off” Peter grumbled, as he slipped underneath the covers Pulling the sheet up to his chin Peter closed his eyes and eventually fell into darkness, finding himself standing, dressed in full hunting garb, at the mouth of a cave, but the world around him didn’t seem quite right. Everything seemed like it wasn’t quite in focus, but it was such a subtle change that he wasn’t quite sure if that’s what was actually going on. Standing a few several feet back in the cave he spotted two vampires, a male and female, having a quiet conversation with each other; they both had dark hair that was similar in color to his, appeared to have been turned at around the same age as his parents were when they’d been killed, and had something oddly familiar about them but he couldn’t quite put his finger on what it was. Even though he couldn’t pick up on what they were saying he could tell there was something off about their voices, it wasn’t because of the echo from the cave walls; it sounded like their voices had some kind of a subtle reverb to it. Grabbing his shotgun Peter went to make sure it was loaded when he felt a sense of dread filtering through him the moment he began coming up with a plan of attack. He could also feel his heart rate starting to pick up as a type of pressure, that wasn’t quite pain but also wasn’t really a numbing sensation, began to blossom in his chest. Taking a deep breath Peter held his gun at the ready, jumping out of his hiding spot ready to shoot only to see that his targets had vanished and in their place was a very large bonfire. Laying inside of the flames were Jane and Alec, the former on her back and the latter was face down, their bodies bloodied and looking like they’d been wiped with some kind of bladed whip or razor ended flog. Taking a step closer Peter saw that Jane’s eyes were still open and staring blankly up at the ceiling when they suddenly focused on him, looking at him desperately as she reached out for him with a shaky arm, tears forming in her eyes. Setting his shotgun on the ground Peter tried to reach into the fire and grab Janes hand so he could pull her out of the flames, but they were too strong and even if there had been a fire extinguisher or something else he could use to put it out with nearby they would be useless as the fire had grown far too large for one man to be able to put it out themselves. Grabbing his shotgun Peter reluctantly turned away, heading further into the cave because he knew there was no way he could help either of them. It didn’t get any better the further back into the cave he got because barely five feet away was another body laying in a puddle that appeared to be made up of all of the blood that their body could hold. Taking a step closer he saw that the body was Charlie’s, a deep mystery injury to his neck that he couldn’t quite make out exactly what it was because of all of the blood that was bubbling out of the younger man's neck and mouth. Upon seeing Charlie’s body the world around Peter became more out of focus and the distortion of the raging fire behind him and the gurgling that was coming from Charley got worse. Tripping over his own two feet Peter scrambled to get as far away from the carnage as quickly as he possibly could, not paying any attention to where he was going; soon becoming hopelessly lost. Eventually, he came upon a deep cavern inside of the cave; unfortunately, he hadn’t noticed the path that he’d been running down was quickly coming to an abrupt end and he soon found himself falling over a cliff, taking a tumble down the rough slope, only stopping once his body slammed into a column of stalagmites with a pained grunt. Grabbing at the sides of his head with both of his hands Peter tried to get it to stop spinning and his vision to re-focus. Getting up to his knees the hunter managed to notice some movement out of the corner of his eye and, once he turned his head to get a look at what was happening, was left watching helplessly as Jerry ripped Aro’s head clean off his body, a geyser of blood erupting from the neck stump as his body fell to the ground with a thud that seemed to echo throughout the suddenly silent cave. Without thinking Peter ran out from behind his hiding spot and over to Aro, kneeling in front of his head, looking at it desperately, wanting to do something, anything, but his brain froze and he was left staring at the decapitated head. “Well, well, well look who finally decided to show up” Jerry said, circling PeterDandridge's appearance was different from the last time he’d seen him, he now looked a bit like the wendigos from Until Dawn with an extremely emaciated body, limbs that looked roughly twice as long as they had been before, and a face that looked stuck halfway between his normal face and his vampiric one with chunks of flesh peeling away to reveal hints of his skull.“You couldn’t save your parents, you couldn’t save your protege, and you sure as hell couldn’t save your lover or his kids” Jerry said, his voice becoming so distorted with each passing word that it became difficult to understand what he was saying “You sonuvabitch” Peter growled, pulling out his stake gun “Really now, has that thing ever worked before?”“Shut up!” Peter said, feeling the beginning of tears forming in his eyes Pulling the trigger Peter managed to hit Jerry dead center in the heart, the injury causing the flesh of his body too, instead of bursting into flames and ash, start slowly melting away as a thick foam like slime began oozing out of him. “Peter” a voice called out weakly“Charlie?” Peter asked looking around confused “I’m here, buddy” Charley said, slumped forward, staggering into the cavern “But I saw you” Peter said looking beyond confused “you were dead”“Well” Charley said, straightening out his posture so Peter could get a good look at him in all of his turned glory “I mean you’re not technically wrong” “Oh, shit!” Peter said holding his stake gun at the ready“Yeah” Charley said curling back his upper lip“So what now?” Peter asked taking a step back“What do you think, Pete?” “Right. Dumb question” Taking aim Peter fired off his stake gun again and again and again until he was out of ammo, unfortunately he wasn’t able to get a direct hit to Charlies heart. Chucking the empty gun at the others head Peter was able to distract the vampire long enough for him to grab a spare stake from his belt and use it as a melee weapon. Since his vision still hadn’t come into focus the hunter was left basically taking stabs in the dark, giving Charley plenty of opportunities to attack back, but all he did was give scratch Peter deep enough to draw blood right before the hunter managed to stab him right through the heart; leaving him standing there watching as Charlie’s body turned to ash. Dropping to the ground the hunter felt himself going numb as he looked at Aro’s body unaware that the two vampires he’d seen when he’d first gotten to the cave had dropped down from the top of the cave, both of them having been drawn out by his blood, pouncing on and pinning him to the ground, Peter recognizing who they were just as they began tearing into him. Even though he wasn’t asleep Aro had relaxed back into the bed and was resting his eyes, enjoying the silence, when he was almost kicked out of the bed by Peter and his flailing limbs, the hunter looking like he was trying to fight off an unseen force. Sitting up quickly Aro took a firm grip of the others arms to prevent them from striking him in the face again; thankfully this seemed to be enough of a jolt to Peters senses to get him to wake up. Shooting up fast enough to give himself whiplash, Peter felt the pressure in his chest turning into outright pain, forcing him to rip one of his arms free and grab at his chest with a shaky hand, the pain causing his lungs to feel like they were unable to take in any oxygen, regardless of how hard he was breathing. Releasing the hold he had on the others arm Aro gently pulled Peter close to him, moving the humans head to rest in the crook of his neck, holding him close as he took a tight hold of the hunter's hand to help keep him grounded in reality. Ripping his hand out of the vampires grip Peter wrapped his arms tightly around Aro’s waist, taking an iron grip on the back of his shirt. Feeling fresh tears soaking through the shirt and onto his skin Aro embraced Peter back just as tightly, keeping him secure in his hold.“It’s alright, Vincent” Aro said softly, gently petting Peters hair “they’re safe. You’re safe. Everything's alright, dear, I’ve got you. I’m here” “I couldn’t help them” Peter said with a quivering voice “It’s not your fault” “I could’ve tried—”“There was nothing you could do” “But I...”“You were just a child” Aro said, nuzzling his cheek against the top of Peters head His attempts to comfort Peter worked as he could feel the tension in the others body beginning to ebb away as he quietly reciting poetry to him and gently rubbed his back as his human drifted off to sleep in the vampires embrace.

Elena of Avalor “The Magic Within” My favorite parts Part 2

Okay this part was just funny! I love the sound and the face he makes! I noticed a couple things about Elena in the background as I made this gif too. Not only is her dress beautiful when purple with the silver accents👌, but the way she looks at him at the end of the gif is great.

This episode really showed the trust they have in one another and how well they know each other. Like, he knows exactly what kind of things to say to calm her down! I think it’s super cute! Plus look at his smile!

Okay, this part with Gabe and Naomi is hilarious! The expressions on their faces and the inflections in their voices are perfect here! I actually had to re-watch this part the first time I saw it because I was laughing and missed what was said!

Also this part was cute. I mainly just wanted to gif this because Gabe has pretty awesome Latin hips,(was anyone else surprised at this?) but also because they are dancing wit each other in front of everyone!

And because they blush when Naomi dips him!?

And hold hands and look at each other right before they continue dancing separately! So cute!

Back to you Elena and Mateo!

Okay, I love this part because, once again, Mateo drops what he’s doing as soon as he sees Elena needs help. He doesn’t even explain to his mother; he sees the Elena’s dress glow orange and gets to her as soon as possible.

THIS PART. First of all, can HE GET ANY CLOSER TO HER FACE!? I mean, without kissing her!? And second, he’s so sweet in the way he helps her calm down. She’s in full panic mode, completely overwhelmed with the worst emotions, and he helps ground her within seconds! I love him and I love this part.

So I posted a gifset of this whole scene because I love it all even though it gets interrupted. *cough* Flo *cough* But I wanted to touch on this specific part of this scene because I have thoughts.

1) Notice the look in his eyes right before he speaks, because it looks exactly like the word he’s about to say.

2) Out of the three friends there that could have brought it up, Mateo is the one to bring up “love”.

3) The horses expressions. Why, I ask, did the animators of the show bother to make the horses look so surprised if it didn’t mean something that Mateo brought “love“ up? I might be remembering wrong, but I feel like the horses in this show don’t really emote unless it’s to emphasize something that we as the audience are supposed to understand. It has to mean something right!? I don’t know, maybe I’m just waaaaay too hopeful, but I really hope this is all a set up for a confession where the feelings are mutual.

The other two reasons that I’ve come up with for all that I’ve pointed out are awful. ->The writers and animators are teasing us and it’s a set up for nothing or (possibly definitely) worse, a friend-zone scene. So yeah, please let it be a mutual confession!🤞

Last but not least is this part at the very end of the episode. I love the way he looks at her when she isn’t looking! He looks to proud of her and the way she’s dealing with everything. His face is so full of love and admiration. I mean look at his eyes and his smile. I just, I love him.

For a long time, Illionaire had steadily gained wealth and power through their various businesses. Joonkyung, better known as Dok2, was the boss who leads the successful operation of the group. He flaunts his wealth wherever he goes making sure everyone noticed him when he entered a room. Luxury vehicles, clothes, jewelry, etc. Nothing was out of the question.

His second in command was Donggab. Apart from advising and enforcing he also oversaw the monetary side. He flaunted his vast wealth as well but in a much more tasteful manner. The luxury suits he wore made him seem as if he came from a wealthy family. 

Sometimes it was hard to identify who the actual leader was.

Especially when Joonkyung was always getting into messes and Donggab was the one bailing him out.

“One of your accounts is overdrawn,” Donggab flipped through pages of statements sounding very nonchalant. 

Joonkyung nodded, he had already gotten a call from the guilty party. “Just take some from Y/N’s account and put it into hers.”

Donggab looked up, jaw clenched. “Why Y/N’s?”

“She hardly uses it.”

Donggab went back around to his desk and sat down. He flipped through to your account statements and indeed you had hundreds of thousands accumulated from scarcely using the money Dok2 gave you. The other two women in his life managed to go through theirs entirely with one having overdrawn.

“How much?” 

Joonkyung thought for a moment. “Triple the overdrawn amount, she’ll be happier when I go over tonight.”

Regardless of his personal opinion on the matter, Donggab picked up the pen to write down the amount. He would have to handle the transfer before Joonkyung left even though he shouldn’t be going to her at all. 

“What about Y/N?” The clueless look had Donggab tapping his pen on the leather cover of the statement logs. “Today is her birthday.”

“That’s right,” Dok2 confirmed the date by looking at his phone. Today was your birthday and he couldn’t ignore it. You were by far the most difficult of his relationships- with him only because he asked for you as part of a deal between him and your old group.

You were so beautiful in his eyes, that’s why you caught his initial attention. He began looking into you when he found out you were an expert at running money laundering operations. He knew he had to have you for himself even if it meant playing dirty.

Now you were one of three women but ultimately his favorite. While the others were equally as if not more, prettier than you... You were the only one who could serve a purpose to Illionaire. Only you could ever become something more to him. But he wasn’t done with the others yet.

“I’m gonna need you to do one more favor for me.”

When you heard your doorbell ringing you jumped out of bed. You had been lounging about all day dressed as if you were actually going somewhere. However, it was only for the sake of boosting your mood on what should be a happy day.

“What the-” you took a second glance at the screen showing you what was on the other side. All you could see was flowers and as soon as you undid the last lock your house became a literal rose parade. Men you had barely seen before marched inside carrying bouquet after bouquet into your home. They covered every flat surface with the floral arrangments. 

“Hey why are you going in there...” you stomped your bare feet onto the ground chasing after the ones who had taken the liberty of filling your room as well. The whole situation was crazy. What could you possibly do with so many flowers? It left you speechless and a little irritated to be ambushed this way. 

“Knock knock...”

You turned to see Donggab politely knocking on yoru bedroom door despite it being open. In his hands were yet another bouquet.

“Happy Birthday,” he handed it over to you.

You took it with a forced smile knowing what it was even before you got the card opened. “Joonkyung sent you.”

He nodded.

“Tell me the truth is he ditching me to be with one of the others?”

Once again he nodded.

“Great, then he won’t mind.” You harshly slammed the glass vase onto your vanity. 

“I thought you loved roses.” 

You nodded picking up one of the much more elegant looking white rose arrangments. “White ones.”

Of course, he knew that but Joonkyung didn’t that’s why he insisted on getting red roses. “Then I have a confession to make.” Donggab eyed the others motioning with his head for them to leave. After the last one was out of sight he turned his attention to you. “The white ones are from me.”

Suddenly you weren’t so irritated. “You got me white roses?”

“Happy Birthday Y/N,” he kissed your cheek and flashed you a killer smile.

Your hand went up, your fingertips gracing the burning flesh of your blushing cheeks. “I don’t understand.” More like you didn’t want to get your hopes up. 

"I love you."

"What-" Your eyes blinked rapidly as if testing whether or not you were awake. But you were. This was reality. Donggab was honestly confessing his romantic interest in you.

Donggab took a quick glance out your door before locking it giving you two some privacy- which he should have done from the very beginning but he did not know those words would come out of his mouth today. After all, you were the boss' favorite of all his women. If ever a time came when he would open his eyes and see how truly special you were he wouldn't stand a chance. If he ever chose to settle down he would have to sit back and watch quietly but if he acted first perhaps there was a chance.

He tenderly caressed your cheek to gain your undivided attention. Once you looked up he locked onto your eyes capturing them in a loving gaze. His lips could not help but curl up into a smile. This was all he wanted. He wanted to see you smile. He wanted to touch you, hold you, love you.

He wanted you.

"I love you Y/N." He pressed his forehead against yours. "I always have, I just couldn't tell you until now." After realizing how Joonkyung took your compliance for granted, interpreting it as mutual affection when in reality he and you were simply part of a business transaction.

You held his face in your hands in a similar fashion. If only he knew how you secretly wished, dreamt of this moment. But could you selfishly confess? If you showed him the feeling of love was mutual what would become of him? Too bad years of yearning made the choice for you and leaned in to kiss him.

The kiss was better than any verbal confirmation. He held you with one arm around your waist, the other at the back of your neck and dipped you.

Your arms went up around his neck not getting nearly as much of him as you had wanted. The chemistry between you was undeniably present as your actions synced perfectly. The whole moment felt like a well choreographed, well-directed kiss scene in a movie. When you jumped he caught you- never breaking said kiss.

Donggab sat you on the vanity knocking down the bouquet of red roses Dok2 had just sent him to deliver to you. The sound of shattering glass startled you causing you to pull away. "Oh-" you did not get to say a word as Donggab hungrily reclaimed your lips.

Not caring if any of the security he had brought with him heard.

There was no use in stopping now. He had crossed the line of no return. He had gotten a taste of your sweet lips and he would never allow them to be taken from him. "You are mine now," he nearly growled in his signature low voice.

"But-ah" you shuddered as his lips went to your neck. The sensation was equal to the way your stomach fluttered on a rollercoaster drop and the warmth of a blush creeping to your cheeks. "Donggab what about Joonkyung."

"Don't think about him now." His hand led yours to rest atop his chest where his rapidly beating heart echoed yours. "It's just you and me now."

"But he'll kill you." You could care less about your life or your fate but Donggab meant the world to you. Risking his life was out of the question. "I could never watch you get hurt."

"You won't, we'll run away somewhere Joonkyung can't find us."

Your eyes widened in shock. "Are you really willing to give up your position for me?"

"Since day one."

You jumped off the vanity and pushed him back until he fell onto the bed. You picked up your skirt allowing you to straddle his lap. His hands came to rest on your ass pushing you closer into him.

Once again you had answered with actions rather than words but it was clear you would go anywhere with Donggab as you began to undress him.

"After dropping off the flowers at Y/N’s, where did you go?” Dok2 was losing his patience with the security team.

“I-uh we went nowhere sir.”

“Then how and when did you lose them!”

Another stepped in to help him, “He asked us to leave ahead of him while he helped Miss Y/N.”

“Helped her with what?”

“I don’t know.” He could tell by the look in his eyes that wasn’t the answer he was looking for but it was all he could offer. 

Dok2 threw everyone out of his office as he began making some calls. The more he looked for Dongabb the more he uncovered. He found he had emptied your account the day before along with his own. If that didn’t scream betrayal then what did?

In a final act of rage, Dok2 picked up the framed picture of you he kept at his desk and threw it against the wall as hard as he could. The sound alerted the guards to come inside. “Now you do your jobs?!” 

Dok2 leaned over the broken glass and metal to fish out your picture. In the process, he managed to cut his hand but did not flinch at the pain. He stared at it for a second longer than he wanted to. His resolve wavering for a moment at your smile. You were his most precious possession, his love...

He handed the now bloodstained photo to the head of his security. 

“Find her.”

hey so this may seem esoteric, but that should be no surprise coming from me. i wanna make a list of like, charlotte liking/loving daniel. i’ve been wanting to for a while. in fact, i’d make a gifset but i don’t... do that. cuz like, daniel loving charlotte is obvious. everybody can see it. but i wanna show some appreciation for charlotte being into daniel. for her loving him back. because she totally did

we dunno much about dan/char pre-island, but first time we see them on screen together, they’re happy to see each other. and in general, char is happier when dan is around. it doesn’t escape notice that char can be... difficult with people. but around daniel, she's calmer and happier and smiles at him several times. even when he’s not looking

like, omg, the amount of times charlotte is happy to see dan. from their first on screen interaction, right to their last interaction in the finale. i could create a collection of times she’s looking at him with eyes a-glitter

jin says to sun, “do you think she knows he likes her?” and sun replies, “she’s a woman, she knows”. charlotte, who can understand korean, smiles fondly at this exchange. yes, she knows

look, even i can see the body language. okay, lemme tell you something about women. if a guy they don’t like touches them, women tend to look annoyed or pull away a little. or like, tense up. basically you can tell. as i’ve mentioned a million times, daniel touches charlotte a lot. on her arms, shoulders, face and hair. her fucking hair. and at no point does char express any problem with this. not even a frown. no recoil or distaste whatsoever. she is totally okay with dan touching her. and in places you don’t tend to let people touch you unless you like them

(i think charlotte is the type of person who’d say something if she didn’t want a guy touching her. and of course dan would stop, he’s a good boy. but that would never happen. because she’s totally okay with it)

hand holding, like, three hugs and a kiss on the cheek. these two were never Officially a couple and they didn’t get as much attention as other romances but wowee, these two touch each other a lot

during one of dan and char’s hugs, char is touching dan’s face and neck

charlotte is not a health care worker, but has taken it upon herself (as far as we know, with no prompting) to act as daniel’s carer. because she cares about him and wants to help him. she’s comforting and supportive of daniel, particularly during his moments of self-doubt

she’s very protective of daniel. examples: 1. jin wants info outta char, char refuses, jin threatens to break dan’s fingers, char instantly relents. 2. sawyer slaps dan, char gets right in all “OI WHAT THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING??” and 3. juliet is holding a gun on char, char says “if you wanna stop us, you’ll have to bloody shoot us”, juliet points the gun at daniel, char loses all that bravado

the fact that she didn’t fucking lose it when dan called her out on her “bad attitude” and instead just looks at him dumbfounded. yeah, this might be interpretation on my part but i think if any other man told charlotte to have a better attitude, she would've gotten real fucking angry. i would’ve

she has no negative reaction to daniel saying he loves her. she looks surprised, like she didn’t know that. (so we can figure, she knew he LIKED her, but didn’t know he LOVED her) later, she gives him a chance to take it back, in case he was embarrassed or whatever. he doesn’t and she looks... awed. happy. she didn’t expect that but she’s okay with it

also when dan leaves right after this, char starts crying. she’s so overcome by the fact that daniel loves her that she tears up (notably looking away so nobody else, like miles, can see her)

when her mind is time traveling her mind, she says “you know what my mum would say about me marrying an american” in a playful manner, to daniel. you know my headcanon about that (limbo!) but besides that, this is a show where Words Are Said Because Of Reasons (Symbolism)

in general, their dynamic and the romantic moments/framing with them would seem really hollow if charlotte didn’t love daniel back

as a cute bonus, rebecca mader said she likes to think that in limbo daniel and charlotte are gonna be together and have lotsa babies

in conclusion daniel loves charlotte, charlotte loves daniel. i love them both. likely a lot more than LOST ever intended but it’s too late to stop now

Jon, Looking Back, and “The Wars to Come”

So I have gotten close to ten asks since the episode about how either the Jon/Dany goodbye was “cold” or asking my opinion on why Jon “doesn’t look back” at Dany. So I’d like to address this and just give my two cents on their relationship development in 7.05 and the meaning/significance of their last words to each other on the beach. This is huge so I put it under a cut!

Jon and Dany both come to understand one another a lot better in this episode. I see it as important character development for both of them in terms of learning to trust the other. And while I’ve seen antis arguing that there is nothing in this episode to indicate Jon’s feelings for Dany, I couldn’t disagree more. 

On her return from the loot train, Dany finds Jon standing on a cliff, presumably waiting for her.

And even then, he seems almost surprised she has returned from battle already. He says, “You weren’t gone long.” He didn’t really expect Dany to return yet but he was still out there gazing in the direction she would be coming from. Just in case . . .

Then he touches Drogon in what might be my favorite scene in the series yet. It’s such a huge moment for them both as I briefly talked about here. To me it signifies Jon’s trust in Dany. Say what you will, antis. If he thinks she’s crazy and mad, if he thinks that she sees him as a threat, I doubt he would walk up to her enormous, fire-breathing dragon when she’s sitting on top of it. Jon trusts Dany.

At the same time, Dany is absolutely amazed that Jon has the courage to not only stand his ground in front of a roaring Drogon, but to approach and then pet him. And as one of my anons pointed out, Drogon chose to accept Jon, too, in this moment. Jon is the first person we know of since Doreah to touch Drogon at all, and back then Drogon was smaller than my mom’s Pomeranian. So this is no small feat on Jon’s part.

It’s like Drogon can feel Dany’s attraction to Jon and Jon’s attraction to Dany, as well as sense Jon’s Valyrian blood. He accepts him into their little family in a way. 

And we can see from their faces that Jon and Dany are both profoundly affected by this moment. ESPECIALLY Jon. 

Jon teared up from the enormity of what it meant to touch a living dragon. I love the detail of him pulling his gloves off so he could actually feel Drogon’s skin for himself. 

This was a bonding moment. It was incredibly intimate. He and Dany make eye contact while she is riding her DRAGON and he is the first man to touch that dragon. EVER.

Then when they talk after, even the conversation is important. Jon seems dubious of Dany’s methods in war but when she says that they BOTH want to help people, which they can only do from a position of strength, that really resounds with Jon who we know feels exactly the same way, and has accepted his power as KitN so that he can save his people. Dany reminding him that he and his army have also killed thousands of people seems to have an impact. The reasons Jon has to doubt Dany are falling away one by one, and it started in with the cave scene and Jon’s talk with Missandei last week. 

Then Dany asks about him taking a knife in the heart for his people. Jon does dodge the question AT FIRST. But when she presses him and asks him to confirm that it really is just Davos’s embellishment and not a true story, Jon hesitates. I fully believe that he was about to be honest with her in that moment and reveal this CRUCIAL and incredibly painful part of his past to her. That’s a big step forward for them. 

But then they are interrupted by Jorah. And THIS is why I think Jon starts to pull away from Dany toward the episode’s end. 

He feels like they have just had a meaningful moment. And not the first one if we count the caves (I do). But then in walks this man who Jon has never seen before, and suddenly the usually very stoic Dany (who hides her feelings better than I hide my smut fanfic from people in my real life) nearly sobs with emotion at this reunion. She sees Jorah and instantly tears up, embracing him for a long moment and making it pretty clear that he is someone important to her. 

Jon is so weirded out by this moment that he literally turns to watch Dany hugging Jorah.

Then he continues to stand there and watch the duration of the hug.

And he was so obvious about it that even Jorah is like, “Wtf?????” 

Jorah, president of the Khaleesi Fan Club, stops looking at Dany to look at Jon because he can feel the death stare.

Then Jon turns to look at Dany until she is safely back next to him again . . .

Before going right back to eye-murdering Jorah.

I also think it’s worth mentioning that while I have seen people saying Jon only stares Jorah down like this because of Jorah’s history as a slaver, I really have to disagree. Jon was warm and welcoming to Jorah and complimented his father when they first met. His demeanor only changed after Jorah hugged Dany. And Jon isn’t the focused part of Dany’s reunion with Jorah by accident. The camera looked at him for a reason. We are SUPPOSED to notice Jon’s expression here.

Then we get the scene in the map room in which Jorah immediately offers himself for the mission North for the wight hunt, and I think this just further solidifies the notion in Jon’s mind that Jorah and Dany have something between them. 

To make matters worse, Dany is clearly worried and DOES NOT want Jon to go. But Dany is very reserved with her emotions and I am positive that she is not comfortable revealing any sort of feelings about or tenderness toward Jon. So instead of begging Jon to stay or expressing her worry for him in front of her council, she makes a desperate bid to have him stay behind by trying to command him. 

I don’t really think she was serious or that she would ever actually try to detain Jon if he wanted that badly to leave. And I don’t think Jon truly took it seriously either or his reaction would have been much worse. But he is still angry. Because I think that until Jorah’s return Jon thought that things had changed between he and Dany, that they had some sort of understanding, and that they had feelings for each other. 

And then this rival man shows up and Dany flexes her queen status and her power again, all in the space of an afternoon. And while as viewers we can clearly see that Dany is very upset about Jon’s departure, and I think Tyrion can see it, too, Jon obviously doesn’t see it. 

This leads us to the goodbye scene. We have Jorah telling Dany goodbye, which one would think would be a touching Dany/Jorah moment if it’s actually true there is nothing going on with Jon and Dany in this scene (as I see others trying to argue). 

Buuuuut there is no Jorah/Dany romance in this scene. When Jorah is seemingly about to proclaim something romantic or poetic to Dany, at 3:02 in the video below, Jon walks into the frame and the Jonerys theme music begins playing while Jorah is still holding Dany’s hands. Jorah turns, sees Jon, thinks the better of whatever he was about to say, and kisses her hand and leaves instead. 

Even Jorah, who is obviously very much in love with Dany, can see what is going on with Jon and Dany and is restraining himself because of it. Significantly, the last person to say to farewell to Dany is Jon. Not Jorah. 

When Jon tells Dany goodbye, he tries to keep it light because at this point he probably feels like he had the wrong idea about their relationship. So he makes a joke about her being glad to be rid of him. But clearly, clearly, Dany feels the opposite. But again, Jon is oblivious, so when she says, “I’ve grown used to him,” Jon is surprised and taken aback and doesn’t know what to say next. 

I don’t think he was expecting her to flirt with him because to his knowledge, there’s something going on between Jorah/Dany and the last thing he saw between those two was this:

So it doesn’t surprise me at all that Jon doesn’t give Dany some kind of tender goodbye. After all, even the script outline described it as what had to be a private goodbye but in a public setting. Jon is trying to appear aloof not only because he believes Dany already has a romantic attachment to someone else, but because there are other people watching their every move, AND because he is heading off on a suicide mission. 

What good would it do for him to say something touching and declare his feelings before he leaves??? Duty has always been important to Jon and he is putting it ahead of his feelings in this instance--feelings he probably now believes to be misplaced. 

I saw a gifset today that irked me. The theme or caption was something about people looking back at the one they love when they leave. It was Jorah looking at Dany, Brienne turning in the canoe to look at Jaime when she left Riverrun, and Jon waving to Sansa as he left Winterfell. The intent of this set was pretty clear, it coming out right after this episode. 

This bothered me, and then an anon sent me a link to some anti writing meta about how that wave from Jon to Sansa shows that he cares for her and not Dany since he didn’t look back at Dany on the beach. I don’t think this is the case at all. Jon didn’t even have a goodbye scene with Sansa. He just waved to her on his way out. (Yes, I know Jon loves Sansa. She’s his family. I’m just trying to establish that that doesn’t invalidate what’s happening with Jonerys at all).

But he shared a personal and clearly emotional goodbye with Dany. And I imagine he didn’t turn to look at her because 1. He was the person leading the men pushing the boat into the ocean . . . he was in the front and busy???

And 2. He is trying to keep Dany from his thoughts. He has an important mission to think about. He doesn’t believe he has a shot with Dany. This seems perfectly normal to me. 

Finally, in the same anti meta I mentioned above the person argued that Jon’s last line, “I wish you good fortune in the wars to come,” was a signal that T@rg Bowl is going to happen and that he and Dany are going to fight one another in season 8. 

The person made this argument because Ser Arthur Dayne said the same line to Ned before they fought to the death outside the Tower of Joy, which we saw in Bran’s vision in season 6. 

However, that isn’t the only time we’ve heard this! Mance Rayder also said these words to those gathered at his execution in 5.01, and the name of the episode was “The Wars to Come.” So both Mance and Ser Arthur Dayne said this line when they were both facing their deaths. 

I don’t think Jon says this to Dany to foreshadow a conflict or rift between the two of them. I see this as foreshadowing Jon’s death, since this is something that two men have now said right before they died. This line foreshadows death. (I decided to Google it and both Heavy.com and Uproxx had the exact same interpretation. No one thinks this means Jon wants to kill Dany . . . except certain antis.)

This makes sense considering the leaks. We know that in the next episode, Jon will very nearly die, and the audience and Dany will (for at least a short time) believe that Jon did die. So to me, this line is just adding to that tension and the idea that Jon really is running into a very dangerous situation. 

But none of this diminishes Jonerys and the epic tension, angst, and relationship-building we got from them in 7.05 in my opinion.

Knight in Shining Armor (Loki Lafeyson x Female Reader)

Pairing: Loki Laufeyson x Reader, Thor Odinson x Reader (platonic), OMC (kinda??? Idk I just made his name up) x Reader

Summary: (Y/N) and Loki have been friends since childhood. Now that they’re older, they’ve drifted apart, Loki being too busy to spend any time with her. She’s fallen for her, but like a true warrior, she pushes her feelings aside. That is until her father promises her hand in marriage to another man. Will she be forced to marry a man she doesn’t even know? Or will the love of her life save her from him?

A/N: WOW I suck at summaries! Anyway, this is just something I wrote up last night, not thinking too much of it. I was just in a Loki mood after seeing a couple gifsets on Tumblr. So here we are! I hope you enjoy and I hope there aren’t too many mistakes. This is only my second time writing for Loki and it takes place in Asgard so I hope I did the Asgardians justice. Also, I was too lazy to proofread this one. I hope you enjoy!

"(Y/N)!"

You look up from your book, startled. Your mother and father enter your chambers.

"Yes?" You reply.

"We have the most wonderful news!" Your mother declares.

You furrow your brows, closing your book and cocking your head to the side. "Oh?"

Your father smiles. "I have promised your hand in marriage to a very wealthy Asgardian warrior!"

Your eyes widen. "Wh-What?!"

"Yes! Lord Deinnson."

You feel the blood rush out of your face.

No no no no no nO NO!!

You're out of your chair in a flash.

"How dare you?! You make such rash decisions without my consent?! Without any consideration as to whether or not my heart already lies somewhere else?!" You yell.

You can see the rage building up in your father's eyes. "Do not speak to me that way young lady!!" He shouts

You head for the door.

Do not walk away from me!" He screams at you. "I know what's best for you!"

You turn and look at your parents. "You do not know me at all."

And then you're rushing out the door. You head down the hall, down the stairs, and out towards your family's stables.

You throw the bridle on your horse, and jump on him, preferring to ride bareback than worry yourself with a saddle.

You let him run as fast as his legs can carry you. You let your tears fall freely as you grip his mane, burying your face in it.

You finally arrive at the castle.

You jump off of the horse, and walk up to the heavily guarded entrance.

"Name?" A guard asks.

"Lady (Y/N) (Y/L/N). I am a friend of Prince Loki Laufeyson."

"Did he summon you?"

"N-No but-"

"You are not permitted here."

Tears flood your eyes again. "P-Please I-"

"GO!!!" He yells, causing you to shrink.

You can only nod, as you walk back to where your horse is waiting.

"Lady (Y/N)?"

You turn at the sound of Thor's familiar voice.

"Thor..." You say, gratefully.

He furrows his brows when he sees your tear streaked cheeks.

"What ails you (Y/N)?" He asks in a gentle tone.

"Something I'd rather not discuss. But I need to see your brother. Please."

He nods and turns to the guards. "See that her steed is put in the stables." He says to one, who nods and leads your horse away.

"Why did you turn her away?" He practically growls at the guard who had given you a hard time.

His eyes widen. "I-I-I didn't realize- My most sincere apologies Your Majesty."

Thor huffs. "Don't apologize to me." He gestures to you.

The guard's face reddens. "Of course. My most sincere apologies Lady (Y/N)." He bows, before opening the gates. "Right this way."

You nod, and let him lead you into the palace.

You're led up to his chambers.

The guard knocks, and you hear a familiar 'Come in.'. The guard pokes his head in and tells Loki who you were. Then the guard opens the door wider and lets you in.

"Thank you, you are dismissed." Loki says to him.

Once you two are alone, Loki allows himself to smile. It'd been too long since he last saw you.

But his smile falters when he sees the look in your eyes.

"What is it my darling flower?"

And then you can't hold it in any longer. You let yourself cry.

He has his arms around you in an instant. You bury your face in his chest, inhaling his scent, letting it wash over you.

"Shh, come my darling." He murmurs, leading you over to a couch.

He holds you in his lap, rubbing your back soothingly until you calm down.

You take a deep breath.

"Loki... I am to be wed."

His eyes widen, and his jaw clenches. You notice his grip on you tighten ever so slightly.

"To whom?" He says, his voice an eerie calm.

"Lord Deinnson."

His grip tightens even more. That man was known for being a player. Using a woman for whatever he wanted, before throwing her out like an old rag.

He pushes you away from his body so that he can look at your face.

"And you do not wish to marry him?"

You shake your head.

He sighs in relief. "Hush now my sweet. You mustn't worry yourself too much."

You nod, burying your face in his chest again.

He leans back on the couch, still holding you. Your legs are stretched out, and he runs his slender fingers through your hair.

Once your breathing has deepened, he slowly stands, laying your sleeping form on the couch and covering you with a warm blanket.

"Sleep well my darling flower." He murmurs, before pressing a gentle kiss to your cheek.

He changes into his royal attire, helmet and everything.

And then he's on his way to your family's home.

You blink your eyes open and look around.

Loki's chambers.

You smile to yourself. He's not there, but that's okay. You slowly stand, and head for the door.

You find your way out of the palace, heading down to the stables where your horse is waiting.

You get on and head back home.

You try to kill as much time as possible, taking your time with putting the horse back in the stables. Once you're done, you head inside.

You stop dead in your tracks when you see your parents, in the living area of your home, with... Loki?

"Loki?!" You ask in shock.

"(Y/N)!" Your mother reprimands you for not calling him by his title.

"That is alright Madam, your daughter and I have known each other long enough. Titles are not a necessity."

You blush, smiling as he walks towards you.

He stops, only inches away from you.

"What are you doing here?" You whisper.

He smirks. "I, your knight in shining armor, have come to save you from the beast."

You roll your eyes, which are now tearing up.

"The Prince has come to ask for your hand in marriage." Your father says.

"Oh?" You say, cocking an eyebrow.

"Yes, and therefore your promised marriage to Lord Deinnson is  no more."

You feel a tear slip down your cheek.

"I am so in love with you (Y/N). I think I have been since we were children, and used to play in the gardens."

You giggle. "You always wanted me to be the princess so you could save me, but I wanted to be a warrior instead."

He chuckles, a low melodic sound that rumbles in his chest. "I remember that."

He takes your hands in his. "You and I have been friends since childhood. I don't think I realized my feelings for you. You are strong, witty, smart, mischievous." He smirks, and you giggle. "And when I heard that you were to be wed to another man, I couldn't bear it. Because I knew that he didn't know you as well as I do. I knew he wouldn't be the husband you deserve. I knew what I had to do."

He gives you a small smile, which you return with an even wider one.

"I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else. So if you'll let me, I wish to make you my Queen."

Tears blur your vision, and you nod smiling. "Of course I'll have you Loki."

He smiles, sighing in relief. It's then that you notice the tears in his eyes.

He cups your cheek and pulls you closer before his lips are on yours in a soft, gentle kiss.

The two of you pull away, and Loki looks back at your parents. "Thank you, Lord and Lady (Y/L/N). I promise I will take care of your daughter."

They nod, smiling at the two of you.

A week later, you stood in one of the great halls in the palace.

"Are you ready Your majesty?" One of the maids asks.

You giggle nervously. "Enough of that, at least wait until it's official."

She smiles. "Very well, are you ready M'lady?"

You close your eyes and take a deep breath.

The months you spent apart in recent years, you wishing he would call you to the palace like old times, but knowing that those days were over.

And then finally, Loki proposing to you.

You open your eyes and nod. "I'm ready."

The doors leading into the throne room open, and you walk in.

You see him standing there, in all his glory, and you feel tears fill your eyes.

"You look ravishing my love." He says when you reach him.

"You look quite handsome yourself my king." You reply.

He smirks.

"My Queen."

"My Loki."
