Charting the Stars: A Comprehensive Guide to Cracking the ISRO Exam
Joining the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is a dream for many aspiring scientists and engineers since it is synonymous with groundbreaking accomplishments in space technology. The ISRO test opens doors to a profession that combines national pride with state-of-the-art research. This comprehensive guide will assist you in overcoming the obstacles in this esteemed test and coming out on top. Comprehending the ISRO Assessment The main purpose of ISRO's recruiting examinations is to hire engineering graduates as scientists or engineers. The most intelligent people from all around the nation take the exam since it is quite competitive. Usually, there are two phases to it: a written exam and an interview.
Written Test: The written test consists of objective-style questions that are specific to the engineering specialization of the candidate, such as computer science, mechanical, or electronics. The purpose of the test is to evaluate technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and conceptual comprehension. Typically, there are 80 questions on it, and you have 90 minutes to respond. Interview: Those who pass the written exam get an invitation to an interview. The interview panel assesses the candidate's appropriateness for the position, technical proficiency, and aptitude for research. It is essential that you comprehend your key subjects in great detail and that you are ready to talk about any projects or research you have done.
Planning Approach 1. Know the Syllabus: Studying for the ISRO test requires a deep comprehension of the engineering discipline's syllabus. This aids in concentrating your study on pertinent subjects. 2. Strengthen Foundations: It's critical to have a firm understanding of foundational ideas. Make sure you comprehend the fundamental ideas and theories in your profession. Lecture notes, textbooks, and online courses may all be very helpful. 3. Practice Previous Papers: One of the best strategies to get ready is to answer previous year's question papers. It acquaints you with the format, nature, and difficulty level of the test. To increase your accuracy and speed when completing these papers, time yourself.
Pay Attention to High-Weightage Topics: Certain subjects are tested more frequently than others. Prioritize these high-weighted sections in your study plan after identifying them from previous publications. 5. Frequent Revision: Maintaining your memory of what you have studied requires frequent revision. Make brief notes for fast edits, paying particular attention to key shortcuts, ideas, and formulae. 6. Mock exams: Taking mock exams will help you determine where you need to improve and gauge your level of preparedness. Additionally, it boosts your self-esteem and lessens test-day anxiety. 7. Keep Up to Date: Keep up with ISRO's most recent missions and initiatives as well as the most recent developments in your sector to ace the interview stage. This demonstrates your sincere excitement and interest in the company.
Books: Your best chance for standard engineering textbooks is to use them. As an illustration, consider Robert L. Boylestad's "Electronic Devices and Circuit Theory" for electronics and R.K. Bansal's "A Textbook of Fluid Mechanics" for mechanical engineering. Online courses: Reputable instructors provide both free and paid courses on platforms like NPTEL, Coursera, and edX. These can offer an organized learning route and aid in idea clarification. Study Groups: Participating in forums or study groups might be helpful. Talking with peers can open your eyes to fresh ideas and assist in resolving challenging issues.
In a recap It takes a mix of determined effort, calculated planning, and steadfast commitment to pass the ISRO exam. It's a voyage that puts your technical prowess to the test along with your tenacity and will. You may improve your chances of passing and get a step closer to being a member of India's premier space research team by being aware of the test format, concentrating on important topics, and making use of the appropriate resources. If you prepare well, you can achieve your goals of reaching the stars!

For Remi: Mind, Direct Hit, Determination. For Jillian: Vitality, Critical Hit, Control. For Jerrica: Strength, Tenacity, Gathering
Remi
MIND : What does your character do to cope with a stressful situation? Pray and meditate, drink in moderation and otherwise casually carouse with friends, cuddle with Alisaie, helping do things with her hair, and other assorted things that involve her.
DIRECT HIT : Which trait in others does your character value the most? Decisiveness. Other typical positive traits aside, but she's of a mind that those matter less if one is otherwise unwilling to act for one reason or another, especially in the face of Big Quest Evils.
DETERMINATION : Which emotion motivates your character to do what they do? Empathy towards helping others and the positive sort of pride as derived from being chosen by a god and thus having a sacred duty, that sense of duty thus being different from Nyomi, who is concerned with institutions as much as the cosmic balance of the Force, or Jillian, who doesn't really have a pre-existing concept of The Quest or prior expectation of literal miracles. (The nuances and contrasts between the Characters Wot Noms Plays are always entertaining to think on.)
Jillian
VITALITY : Describe your character’s physical health. (fit, fragile, chronic pain, etc.) Jillian's quite fit, but in the sense of having a very active lifestyle rather than outright training for it. She lived on a farm and probably started riding shortly after she could walk, after all. But since it was more riding than regular heavy lifting, she's still on the skinny side, and not particularly strong. And the Word is definitely contributing to her being especially robust in the face of being shot/clawed/bitten/etc, since she decidedly did not have too much preparation for that, though there's probably also a capacity for that to help her get back up when she really shouldn't be trying to.
CRITICAL HIT : What is your character’s biggest weakness? Do they try to overcome it? Jillian 'I am the only one who can' Cain (I am quite glad I came up with that bit of angst in that one story) fortunately has come to realize she doesn't have to do it alone, but she still feels a good bit guilty about collateral trauma involved in that, mostly towards poor Aloy who does not have the backing of one deity or spirit or another for moral support and did not have a sacred calling in the first place. But otherwise that raging martyr complex is still there and not something to be necessarily be fixed, though nowadays she's certainly quite glad for the company.
CONTROL : What is your character’s view of fate/destiny? Jillian thinks more about divine will than any sort of agnostic/unaligned sort of fate, naturally. She was certainly aware of notions of 'God has a plan for everyone', but never gave that much thought before, and now the context of that decidedly changed for her. She tries very much not to think about whether that inciting incident was planned in advance, since that leads into a lot of theologically complicated paradox of evil questions, and she doesn't have time for that anyways. But at the end of the day she was objectively chosen by the will of God, so he clearly does have a plan for her, and thus she’s nominally confident that God asks of one only as much as they're capable of handling. The minor issue is she's thus being asked quite a lot, but she's not really theologically equipped to do more than have faith in the ineffable plan and be thankful that she's been given the tools to do her thing. But overall these concepts are entirely too abstract for her, even before the bit where she's got more immediate issues anyways.
Jerrica
STRENGTH : What is your character’s greatest virtue? Jerrica will do anything for her daughter, period, no exceptions. To a lesser extent, she'll go to decent lengths for people she feels indebted to (the friendly kind of debt, not the crime kind of that that's also inevitably common in her neighborhoods, she'd be a bit less enthusiastic if she ended up in that sort of trouble, minor issues aside of the Mark being an awfully big loan, from a certain point of view).
TENACITY : Which skills does your character utilize to further their personal goals? Violence, mostly. A sailor's ropework would probably be put too good use if she ever had a reason to take someone alive, but that isn't going to be likely without strong incentive. The general school of hard knocks education will also be helpful for finding the people she wants to commit violence to, hopefully.
GATHERING : What is something material your character wishes they had more of? Cold, hard coin. Jerrica is very much of a mind that a healthy chunk of coin would solve 95% of her problems, mainly except for the bloody vengeance bit, and that's only because she wants to do that personally. If she had the spare coin, she wouldn't trust the average murderer for hire to get it done right and she isn't remotely convinced that Mr. Knife of Dunwall Daud and the Whalers assassins are anything but an urban myth.

@alexa-alcantara this is for you 😘
“Why are you doing this?” Mitch slurred, barely able to keep his eyes open. Ronnie unwound the chain from his savaged wrists, but left the rope, just in case Mitch got it in his head to try and run. Not that he’d be able to. Ronnie worked him over good.
“I want Hurley. The sooner you give him to me, the sooner this can end.”
Mitch collapsed once he was free of the chains, unable to keep himself standing. Ronnie was right there to catch him though, his arms strong and secure around Mitch’s middle, and he whimpered quietly from the pain. His voice was shot from screaming, too bad for anything much louder, raw and hoarse.
“Gonna have to try harder… not gonna break… that easy…”
“Everyone breaks eventually. Don’t worry, I got nothing but time.” Mitch snorted. He held no illusions that Hurley was coming for him. No one would. That was the job he accepted.
“Did you?” Mitch asked when Ronnie eased him onto a cot. He was too tired to fight. Too tired to question it. He didn’t know how long it’s been since he slept—a few days, at least—but the effects of sleep deprivation were old friends.
“Did I what?”
“Break.” Mitch saw the scars, and Ronnie had to learn the techniques he now employed on Mitch from somewhere. He was no novice to torture.
The question made the man pause. Mitch didn’t know what he was doing, but stopped whatever it was. If not for his steady breaths, Mitch would have no idea he was even still there.
Then, finally, he repeated, “Everybody breaks eventually.” There was something different in his voice. Something quiet.
“How—” Mitch worked his tongue, trying to wet his dry mouth, “How long?”
“A few weeks. Two, maybe three. I don’t have an exact number.”
“I’m gonna break your record,” Mitch said with a bloody grin.
Ronnie was impressed by Mitch’s tenacity, to say the least. Even beaten half to death, the kid was still trying to take cheap shots at his pride. Ronnie couldn’t decide if Mitch was just that much of a punk that he couldn’t control his own mouth, of if he was trying to goad Ronnie into killing him before he gave anything up. If it was the latter, then Mitch would be sorely disappointed. But if it was the former, then, well, at least things wouldn’t be dull.
“Y’know, kid. I think we could’ve been friends.”
“Go fuck yourself.” Ronnie laughed. He finally brought whatever supplied he’d gathered over to the cot.
“Really, we’re pretty alike, you an I. I see a lot of myself in you.”
Mitch froze when Ronnie’s weight made the thin mattress dip, tilting Mitch towards him. Then the other man started working open his belt and pants, it was enough to make Mitch fight back again.
“Get the fuck away from me.” He tried to push at Ronnie with his bound hands, but he was too sluggish and weak to be effective. Ronnie easily subdued him with his wrists pinned above his head. Cold dread filled him, and fear locked his limbs as he remembered Hurley’s gruff words: If you think only woman get raped in the field, you’re dead wrong. Expect it, be prepared for it, and let the possibility of it happening motivate you not to get captured.
Yeah, especially you, Rapp, Victor had said. Pretty thing like you, I’m sure someone would love to make you their bitch.
“Hey, hey, relax. I’m just trying to get a look at your leg,” Ronnie soothed. He took his hands away from Mitch at some point, careful not to touch is skin as he waited for the panic to subside. “I do have standards,” he added. He even managed to sound offended. As if that was the only thing wrong with this picture.
Despite the reassurance Mitch still fought, crossing his legs and locking them together so Ronnie couldn’t get the bloodstained jeans much past his hips. Ronnie solved that problem by sighing and grabbing a knife to cut off the garment, slicing Mitch’s skin in the process.
“Now see, I was going to let you have them back when I was done.”
Mitch watched Ronnie like a hawk, his eyes wide and tracking his every movement, adrenaline flooding his system. His heart beat a raucous pulse against his ribcage. But Ronnie ignored him for the most part. He poured alcohol into a bowl and dipped in a pair of forceps.
“This is going to hurt,” he warned, then dug into the bullet wound in Mitch’s left thigh. He have a strangled scream, back arching as he tried to writhe away from the pain. Blunt metal fished around in his ragged flesh, the forceps opening to grab the bullet lodged deep inside. Ronnie pulled it free with a wet squelch. The sound made Mitch want to pass out a little bit. His hypervigilance was the only thing keeping him conscious. Stubbornness played a part as well. Screaming was cathartic, made the pain easier to bear, but losing out was a sign of weakness. He didn’t want to give Ronnie the satisfaction, and didn’t trust the man with his unconscious body.
Mitch’s leg was trembling when Ronnie had him prop it up. He took a minute to clean up the blood and staunch the flow before he wound bandages around it with tender care.
“I hate you,” Mitch rasped as Ronnie worked. He didn’t know what new tactic this was, taking him down and tending to him, and he didn’t especially care, but he knew it couldn’t mean anything good. He’s just making sure I survive for more torture.
“Where’s Hurley holed up, Mitch?” Ronnie asked gently, starting to clean up the other wounds he’d inflected.
“I don’t know.”
“Yes, you do. Where is he? Where’s the safe house?”
“I don’t know.”
“Tell me and I’ll give you something for the pain.”
“Get fucked.”
“Oh, Mitch.” Ronnie gave a disappointed sigh. “One of these days you’ll learn. Do you think Hurley would go through al this effort to protect you? ‘Course not. You’re here, aren’t you?”
“’You go down out there, you’re a ghost, you don’t exist. Ain’t nobody coming back from you’,” Mitch quoted. “May as well kill me now—I’m not giving you shit.”
“Are you really prepared to die for him?”
“You tell me, since you know me so well.”
“Tell you what, kid. I’m not gonna kill you. I like you. I think you can still be useful to me. If you don’t want to give me information, that’s fine, I have other needs.” Mitch felt that cold fear again—he was stupid for not hiding it better before, giving Ronnie such a clear threat to use against him. But he wouldn’t fold from just a threat. Ronnie must’ve realized, because he just said, “But don’t you worry about that right now. Get some rest. I’ll be back to play with you in the morning.”
“Don’t go out of your way on my account, I’m sure you’re busy.”
“Never too busy for you, darlin’.” Ronnie pat Mitch’s cheek, tied him to the cot, and left him in the dark.
***
Ronnie took a drink of the water to prove it wasn’t poisoned before tipping the bottle to Mitch’s lips. He appreciated the gesture for what it was even if it didn’t allay his suspicion. It wouldn’t do to have him dying of dehydration before Ronnie exhausted all possible leads to extract the information he wanted.
“I’m going to get out of here,” Mitch said, matter of fact. He knew it was true because he would make it so. He wouldn’t allow himself to die here.
“Is that so? And how are you gonna do that, darlin?” Ronnie had that sweet, indulgent tone of a parent patiently listening to a child’s whims and stories. Mitch bristled at the condescension, but he didn’t care. It didn’t matter what Ronnie thought. Was probably better if he believed Mitch was thoroughly trapped.
“Haven’t figured it out yet, but I will.” Mitch knew a situation would present itself eventually, and he would patiently wait until that time came, saving his strength to take advantage of it. “I’m going to kill you, too.”

IC INFO
Character Name: Bruce Wayne Alias: Batman Age: 45 Face Claim: Matt Bomer Species: Human Home Earth: Earth-49
History:
▸ Born the only son and child of Dr Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne (nee Kane) in Crest Hill, Bristol Township, Gotham City, New Jersey. His parents were well respected within the community and gave Bruce a life of privilege as well as tried to instill a good moral code within him. His early childhood was quite idyllic until one night when his parents took him to the Monarch Theater where they saw The Mark of Zorro. After the film, a mugger named Joe Chill attempted to rob them at gunpoint, and panicked, shooting both Thomas and Martha dead.
▸ After the death of his parents, Bruce was raised by the family butler (and Bruce's godfather), Alfred Pennyworth. He was also checked in upon by one of Thomas' friends and co-workers, Dr Leslie Thompkins. He was allowed to remain in Wayne Manor under Alfred's care. He continued to attend school and excelled in his studies, but Bruce's primary focus was no longer that of a young boy. Tragedy had stolen what innocence he had.
▸ As time past, he became obsessed with learning the meaning behind his parents death. At the age of 18, Bruce used the relationship he had with a girl - who was the daughter of a mob boss - to locate Joe Chill. Bruce learned that there was no deeper meaning to his parents' deaths, Joe just simply needed money.
▸ Bruce took an avid interest in martial arts and sword fighting and after discovering what he had from Joe Chill, he decided to travel the world and expand his knowledge. At 21, he spent a great deal of time studying martial arts off masters like Shihan Matsuda in the Himalayas. He studied the ins and outs of technological gadgetry under the guidance of a brilliant inventor, Sergei Alexandrov. He also learned how to drive cars in life-or-death situations from Brazilian criminal, Don Miguel. Bruce also delved into criminology, chemistry, and even acting to hone his skills in becoming a one man army to bring justice back to his home city. He was gone for three years before he returned to Gotham.
▸ Upon his return to Gotham, Bruce wanted to keep it a private affair but his Uncle, Philip Kane, had other ideas. While Philip appeared happy his nephew had returned home, he was also dubious of the young Bruce and plotted against him behind his back. Bruce was able to obtain his inheritance, which was not only the Wayne family fortunes but also controlling power over the family's main corporation, Wayne Enterprises. Bruce had idealistic goals on how he wanted to run the company, which was a huge shake up to how the business had run since his parents death.
▸ Bruce Wayne became Batman. He took the fight to the Red Hood Gang and was immediately successful in defeating the criminals at the A.C.E Chemicals factory. During the fight, Bruce's Uncle, Philip Kane, was found out to be a secret member of the Red Hood Gang and was unfortunately killed in the battle. Red Hood One was also believed to be killed in the fight, falling into a vat of chemicals below where he and Batman had fought.
▸ Despite leading a double life, Bruce kept up many public appearances so people were completely unaware of his nightly habits. One such outing was to The Haly Circus, where a fun night out turned into tragedy for the acrobat family known as the Flying Graysons. The only survivor of the family being the Grayson's son, Richard (or, as he preferred, Dick). Being able to sympathize with Dick's tragedy and knowing that the crime committed against the boy's family was no accident, Bruce came forward with an offer to become Dick's legal guardian.
▸ The relationship between Bruce and Dick didn't get off to the easiest of starts and one night Dick ran away to try and solve the case of his parents' murder on his own. Bruce went out as Batman and managed to pick the boy up and brought him back to the cave, where he then revealed himself as Batman. Bruce offered Dick the chance to become his partner and train with him but Dick had to play by his rules. Dick accepted and took on the mantle of Robin.
▸ Over the years, Batman and Robin were a formidable duo against the criminals of Gotham but one night Robin was shot by the Joker. Despite all they had been through, Bruce called an end to Dick's career. This put a huge strain on their relationship, which had grown more than that of partners but also father and son. Dick left - he would still return to Gotham as needed but there was a definite tension in the air.
▸ Sometime later, Batman catches a bold kid trying to steal the tires off the Batmobile. Jason Todd was a little punk but Bruce was impressed with his spirit, cleverness, and tenacity. After an attempt to place Jason into child protective services failed, Bruce stepped forward and took Jason in as his ward and later adopted son.
▸ Bruce trained Jason to be the second Robin and it is clear from the very beginning that Jason was a completely different style of Robin to Dick. Jason was a fighter and knew how to handle himself in a brawl but his finesse and detective skills needed work. When Jason was 15, he ran away after hearing that his birth mother was still alive. Bruce was too late in working out that it was a well laid trap for the young man and barely arrived in time to see the building Jason was held captive in explode. Devastated, Bruce took Jason's body back to Gotham and buried him in the Wayne family's plot - vowing to never take on another Robin.
▸ In the wake of Jason's death, Batman became more ruthless. Just teetering on the edge of the "no kill" rule he had established for himself. Several allies the Batman had worked with along the way (including the Justice League, which he had founded along with Superman, Wonder Woman and other heroes) noticed the change in Bruce but seemed to be clueless on how to curb the rage the Dark Knight felt.
▸ Tim Drake had been following Batman's career as long as he could remember and it was the 13 year old that picked up on the problem. Batman needed a Robin. After a failed attempt to get Dick to come back and be Robin, Tim offered himself for the role. Bruce refused - afraid that tragedy would strike again. Eventually though, Tim - with the assistance of Dick and Alfred - stole the Robin suit and managed to save Batman. This action spurred Bruce into considering Tim to be the third Robin.
▸ Out of all the Robins, Bruce trained Tim the hardest, sending him off to exotic places to develop his martial arts skills and partnering him with other Batman allies to push him further. Tim never backed down but he also had a level head and a maturity that was beyond his years that made him a valuable partner. Unlike the other Robins, Tim still had parents when he started in the vigilante life but as was the way with heroes, tragedy has its way of catching up. After Tim's father was killed by Captain Boomerang, Bruce made the offer to adopt him. Laws had changed that he couldn't just make Tim a ward like Dick and Jason had been, so adoption papers were filed and Tim became Bruce's legal son.
▸ Talia al Ghul, daughter of the demon and long time enemy of Batman's, Ra's al Ghul, dropped the 10 year old bombshell of a son in his lap. 10 years before, Batman and Talia had a lustful affair which ended abruptly and with Bruce having no knowledge that a child had been conceived. Damian was an assassin without remorse, a fact his mother took great pride in, and was originally unimpressed with Bruce and didn't understand the "no kill" policy his father had adopted in regards to his enemies.
▸ Things have returned to normal for Bruce and his family for the moment. As normal as they get when you're a family of vigilantes. As always, Bruce has several different cases on the run and as long as crime doesn't sleep, neither will justice.
Positive Traits: Focused, strong moral compass, protective, extremely sharp mind Negative Traits: Closed off, secretive, rarely shares true emotions or feelings

Hi! Congrats Olive! That's amazing! 🔥 please? Okay Part 1: Im an ISFJ/INFJ, 6w7 and 4w3(i know i know you are only suppose to have 1 but i swear I’m both lol), And a slytherpuff! Straight female. I am very smiley and bubbly but am an introvert(or extroverted introvert) and can be super shy. I am extremely ambitious and loyal My friends call me optimistic and the happy one of the group but I actually suffer from chronic depression, OCD,  and major social anxiety.
Part 2: Also have abandonment issues due to my dad leaving. Can be overly emotional and sensitive. But I I love to laugh and find the positive in situations!  I am a very determined person, if I want something I won’t stop trying until I psychically can’t. When Im in expert in something I sometimes get a slight superiority complex, mainly when someone questions me on it, trying to work on that.I’m a Christian and my faith is very important to me!
Part 3 I LOVE to cuddle and hold hands and hugs but innocent otherwise. I have danced and done theater my whole life and love it and being on stage so much but ultimately decided to into video editing. I LOVE broadway and musicals but can’t sing for crap. I love pink and Disney(worked there twice) and nerdy stuff. Child at heart and old soul at the same time.  Oh and for Disney, Marvel, and Harry Potter please! Thanks so much!
Disney:
I ship you with Flynn Rider!
alright, we already know that flynn has a secret soft side to him, and i 100% believe that you unlock it without trying, on like, the second time you meet flynn.
i want to say that you met flynn fairly early on in his life - when he first got out of the orphanage and was still a thief in training. he probably made some dashing rescue when you were cornered by some thugs, and you thanked him with some coin and maybe a dinner? who knows. both of you are young and neither of you well off financially, so you share what little you have. when he leaves, you noticed he let you keep your money. so he’s a gentleman, huh?
he continues to find reasons to stop by your village, his excuses getting increasingly worse over time. on all of his visits, flynn seems to have the mission of getting to know you better - and you’re not going to easily reveal your secrets. after all, a girl’s gotta look out for herself, doesn’t she?
flynn learns that you are a very ambitious person with a lot of smarts that you’re proud of, and he likes your confidence - it’s something he’s had to build over a lifetime, so he loves the fact that it comes so easily to you.
he also loves your optimism. he used to have it, once, and it’s refreshing to find someone who truly and honestly believes in the world.
getting to know you is slow going, but it also takes time to get to know him, so fair is fair. and the more you learn about each other, the more you want him to stay. you, of course, know about his life on the run as a master thief, and he has hidden in your house plenty of times before.
what’s most interesting about your relationship is that flynn talks about the future with you. you know what you want to do with your life and are working towards it with all the tenacity in the world. you are headed in one direction and nothing can stop you, and that inspires flynn and reminds him of himself. and both of you are going to do all you can.
(if you want to get some angst in this headcanon set, maybe your ambitions take you to the castle - maybe you want to be a healer or someone who offers intellectual council, idk. anyway, your ambitions put you in direct opposition of flynn, and the two of you probably have a few run ins. and while there isn’t animosity and you always let him run free, there is a distance between the two of you. BUT, your time at court doesn’t work out and you have to go back to your roots - to flynn.)
or! maybe you’re an actress in plays! you know that if you were, flynn would sneak into your shows to watch you and would leave you a single flower after your performance.
you’re relationship is a lot of fun! it involves a lot of sneaking around, a lot of stolen, soft moments, and then talks at the kitchen table, with the candle burning low and all the world between you two.
ugh, i just love this concept.
Marvel:
I ship you with Peter Parker!
you and peter are the sweetest couple ever, two nerds who probably had feelings for eachother for a long time, but were too shy and awkward to mention them.
since you mentioned video editing, can i propose the idea of you taking videos of spider-man, not knowing it’s peter? may i propose the idea of you making youtube videos about spider-man and kind of being his hype man in the early stages? may i suggest the idea that you are the reason why spider-man blew up online, and it stresses peter out to no end?
i really want peter to bring you into the fold and tell you that he’s spider-man because you’ve been bringing him a lot of attention and have started making theory videos on who he is and how he got his powers, and the stress of you possibly figuring out and telling the whole world is literally killing him.
then you can work to steer the evidence away from peter and to someone else, lol.
alright, but back to basics - you and peter both have altruistic goals! peter wants to make a difference and you do, too. you’re both kind of quiet in your goals but work toward them with a fervor, and it’s good for both of you to find someone with so much drive and willingness.
also, the two of you are nerds! you can be nerds together! you would never have to hide your interests from peter and that is honestly such a relief. you definitely geek out over harry potter and all sorts of movies - you’re still trying to sell peter on paying attention to the full lore of star wars, but he really only listens for you and ned.
you both are a little sensitive, but you are able to work through that together. you both are unafraid to lean on the other and be vulnerable with each other, and that’s an exceptional trait to have, so the fact that you employ it so early on is good.
peter, too, has that young at heart yet old soul vibe to him, and that’s because he’s had to struggle in life. he’s lost a lot of people and is poor, all of which ages him (mcu peter doesn’t really have this vibe, but other spideys do), and yet he is still a teenager! he’s still trying his best and wants to see the world! he has wonder in his eyes, and that makes him young again. you understand how he can be simultaneously both, which is good, because explaining that can be rough, and he also understand that in you. lots of mutual understanding is good for you - esp. since his life is so complicated, being spiderman.
oh! peter also loves watching bootl*gs of musicals with you. the two of you will hang out at his place, eating microwave popcorn while trying to enjoy the shaky video. peter talks a lot through movies, but it’s all good, because if you kiss his cheek, he gets flustered and goes very quiet for at least 10 minutes.
Harry Potter:
I ship you with Draco Malfoy!
okay, you gotta stick with me here, because i promise you i have some thoughts about this
i mostly get post-war vibes. i imagine the two of you didn’t interact a lot at school, and if you did, it was in passing - partners in charms once or twice, nothing that could make the two of you especially hate each other later in life.
i’m going all out and saying you both work in the ministry - in the same or similar departments, both of you working late into the night. you, because of your ceaseless ambitions and draco because working clears his mind from all the horrors of his past.
it first starts out that the two of you pass by each other at night, almost shutting off the lights on the other because you thought you were alone. i imagine that draco approaches you first - he has a problem that you can help him solve, and he’s pleasantly surprised by your pride in what you know and the vehemence with which you state the facts. he didn’t know you were so strong willed. it vaguely reminds him of himself, and that’s where the interaction ends.
after that, though, he’s bridged the gap. now, he’ll come over to you for advice on how to do some of his ministry work - you’re really good in a lot of areas, and you’re incredibly concise. when he comes over to your desk, you now ask him about some of your own challenging problems, and the two of you are work friends, now.
it’s a slow burn to end all slow burns, but eventually draco brings you a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate one winter's night when the two of you are working late - his way to say thank you for all of your help. he’s not used to this - reaching out and being nice, but you inspire it in him.
one night he helps you walk some paperwork back to your house - some work you still have to do over the holidays - and he offers his help, if you need it.
i imagine that you don’t exactly want to call draco malfoy over to your apartment during the holidays, so you don’t, but when you realize how far you are behind, you call him over on a saturday and the two of you work all day. it’s mindless filing, mostly, so the two of you have time to talk, if you want to. draco’s pretty silent this whole time, but you are talkative and you eventually get him to crack. you talk about your earliest years at hogwarts. draco rolls his eyes at how dramatic he was and groans at some of his actions. (”remember when you made those “’potter stinks’ buttons? you had a button press in the slytherin common room and gave them out to everyone. i can’t believe snape let you keep a button press!”) the two of you have a lot of tea and you go to get lunch at a restaurant nearby, and when you’re walking back after your meal (where he laughed - actually laughed at something you said) he turns to you and sincerely apologizes for all that he was in his hogwarts years. and because there was never too much bad blood between you two, you shrug off his apology.
and it takes a lot of time for both of you to open up - and i mean a lot of time. you guys steadily become friends who tell each other everything, and it’s you who drags draco to parties with other school mates whom he reconciles with (although he still gives apologies to the main trio, quite often). because you’re a little more extroverted, you bring draco out of his shell while still being introverted in your activities.
you also take draco to your favorite muggle places - the theatre being one of them. i want to say that you go to see les mis or hadestown, because i feel like draco would actually really like those musicals. you also do a lot of movie watching, which draco loves. he gets to set aside his troubles for a few hours or so, and it’s nice.
a few more ideas - you teach draco to cook, you realise draco has a love for poetry and find it very sweet (but you lord it over him, of course), you gossip about your coworkers together, and you star gaze.
EVENTUALLY the two of you get together, and it’s just really sweet. draco’s not big on pda, but he will always give you his arm, or he will hold your hand, and the love is in the gentle stares and soft smiles.

Puzzle of a Person Part Two (Yandere RiddlerxReader)
Request: Hi there! I loved The Riddler and Rubik’s cube reader, could you do a part 2? Maybe he decides to meet the reader in person when in an escape room (you know those real life interactive puzzles) and he purposely makes sure they are partners and he loves this interaction so much and loved how they work together.
Ask and ye shall receive  ☺️
Part One
The Riddler sat on a bench just outside the escape room facility, pretending not to watch as you set up a time for just fifteen minutes from now. You had been to this place before, he knew, and you were trying to work your way through each room they had to offer. So far you had been able to solve each one, and he had watched you do so with pride. Thankfully, this establishment had security cameras set up inside of their escape rooms in case of an emergency, so he had been able to hack into them and watch as you worked through each one instead of simply waiting outside to see if you had won.
But as much as he loved watching you figure out these puzzles, he thought that it was high time that he assisted you. After all, he reasoned to himself, at a certain point the only way for you to continue to improve would be by working with someone smarter than you. Not that he meant that in a disparaging way, no, not at all! He loved you, loved you so much that he thought his heart would shatter under the weight, making you the only person worthy of his help. It was a simple fact, that was all. Ed was well aware that he was the smartest man in Gotham, so he certainly didn’t look down on you for not being at his level. Quite the contrary in fact, he thought quite a lot of you, as evidenced by the fact that he thought you worthy of his tutelage. You were much more intelligent than the average person, and perhaps even more importantly, you had a tenacity that he knew could be harnessed into something to behold. But in order for you to get to that point, you needed help, and he was the only one who could give it to you.
So as you handed over your money to the cashier and Ed read those lips of yours that he so longed to kiss, he waited impatiently for his opening. Finally, when it was just two minutes before your time, he entered the establishment, tugging on his newly dyed hair in nervousness. God, he couldn’t remember the last time he had felt like this; the things you did to him. Waiting by the front desk as the receptionist went to the back to let a group out of their room, Ed heard you begin to fidget. When the worker returned, you got up from your chair, moving to stand beside Ed with your phone in your hand. Ed forced himself to stare straight ahead, knowing that if he looked at you too soon he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from throwing his plan out the window. Instead, he contented himself with tapping his foot against the tiled floor, desperately trying to expel some of his nervous energy. As he waited, he heard you huff out a breath and smiled to himself, knowing exactly what was bothering you. After what felt like far too long, the receptionist finally returned to the front desk, looking at the two of you expectantly.
“This the other player for your game?” he asked you, typing something into the computer. You glanced at him apologetically, shaking your head.
“No,” you sighed, “it turns out that my friend isn’t coming.” At the sound of your voice so close to him, Ed forcibly pushed down his sudden desire to take you into his arms to somewhere far away from here, where he would be the only one to ever hear your voice again. No, he reminded himself, it’s not time yet. Instead, Ed simply looked over at you then, carefully schooling his satisfied glee into a mask of sympathy.
“Okay, so do you want to go in alone?” the worker inquired, already bored by the conversation.
“Um—” you began, clearly not thrilled with the idea but knowing that you wouldn’t be able to get a refund, and Ed took his chance.
“If you want,” he said kindly, trying to seem as nonthreatening as possible, “I could go in with you.” You gave him a quick once-over at his offer, the wheels in your head turning.
“Are you sure? You’re not waiting for anyone?”
“No, I was going to see if I could maybe go in with another group, but I guess it’s not very busy right now.”
“All right,” you answered, “let’s do this then.” As soon as you gave him your answer, Ed felt a sense of victory, relishing the sensation. Though, of course, he had already know that you would accept. In each of your previous times coming here, you had brought along at least one friend with you. Despite your intelligence and determination, Ed knew that you were actually somewhat insecure, meaning that you wouldn’t want to have to do this escape room alone if you could help it. Hopefully he’d soon be able to teach you that you didn’t need any of those so-called friends though, all you needed was him. So as the employee led you to your room, he tried his best not to rush in, not wanting his eagerness to get the best of him. The two of you listened carefully while the worker explained the rules and the premise of this particular room, and when he left, started searching the room for your starting point. While Ed obviously knew where the starting instructions were hidden, he pretended to look carefully, wanting to stretch out his time with you.
“Thanks for doing this,” you said sweetly, looking over at him from the opposite side of the room.
“No problem. Sorry your friend flaked on you.”
“Eh, it wasn’t her fault,” you sighed, “She was supposed to meet me here, but she couldn’t get her car to start.”
“Ah,” Ed said, hiding his knowing smile. “That sucks.”
“Yeah, but whatcha gonna do.” Nodding in understanding, Ed smiled at you in seeming compassion, a gesture that you returned, almost causing him stumble over his own feet. He was able to catch himself though, and instead, he lifted up the chessboard that was resting on the room’s corner table, flipping it over to reveal the first clue. You walked over to him, reading the clue that was written there: What must take a bow before it can speak?
“Hmmm,” you mused, looking around the room, “what do you think it could be?”
           “I’m not sure.”
“What about a rocking chair?” At your guess, the Riddler turned towards you with confusion written on his face. “You know, cause when it rocks back and forth, it’s like it’s bowing, which makes it squeak.”
“Oh,” he responded, slightly impressed by your reasoning. “But it doesn’t necessarily squeak every time.”
“True,” you conceded. The two of you went back and forth for a few minutes, proposing multiple objects.
“Does it have to be an object?” Ed questioned, wondering if the people who made the room might have been angling towards a concept, like a thank you perhaps.
“I think so; it’s gotta be somewhere that they could put the next clue, right?” you mused frustratingly, lips pursued in concentration, causing Ed to smile at just how invested you were. “Wait, what if—what if it’s a different form of the word?”
“What do you mean?” Ed asked you, genuinely curious as to where you were going with this.
“What if it’s not the verb, but the noun? As in, like, bow and arrow.” Ed couldn’t help himself, he laughed in response to your idea. Not because it was foolish, but because it was so simple. After all of his years masterminding schemes in Gotham, his riddles had been growing only more and more complicated in his desperation to defeat the bat. It seemed that he had become stuck in that mindset though, missing what was right in front of him. In that moment, he realized that it might not just be you who needed him, but also he who needed you. You saw things from a different perspective than him, something that could open up a whole new world of possibilities. This just proves it, he thought to himself, we’re the only ones worthy of each other.
“Like a violin,” he answered. From there, you two found the violin, moving onto the next clue. The rest of the game went fairly quickly, both of you bouncing ideas off of each other until you escaped the room in record time. As you walked out of the facility, chatting about your victory, Ed steeled himself to make his next move. It was almost funny, how he could be so confident when it came to intellectual challenges, yet you made him so nervous.
“This was fun,” you told him, giving him a warm smile.
“Yes, it was. Maybe—maybe we could do it again sometime?”
“Yeah, I’d like that.” Before he knew it, the two of you exchanged phones, and you left, promising to text him soon. As he watched you walk away, Ed became all the more glad that he had prevented your usual partner from coming today, it was clear that they had only been holding you back.

earth signs
Taurus — Pure Determination
You’ll probably be looking more for security than fulfillment. Don’t get me wrong — you still seek joy in what you do, but you’re pretty easy going and it’s not hard to please you as long as your job is reliable.
You’re ruled by Venus, the planet of harmony, so it will be easy for you to just settle into something stable. You’ve certainly got the resilience and the determination to make a lot of money. Once you’ve found a way to get what you’re looking for out of life, there’s no stopping you.
You’re a hard worker, you get along well with most people, and you rarely lose your temper. All of this makes you a valuable worker for the right employer. The one thing that you need to watch out for is that same energy that brings you determination can also bring you some stubbornness, which isn’t necessarily a positive quality in the workplace.
Virgo — The Critic
You’re naturally critical, and that makes you ideal for positions where exactness is desired. You’re intelligent and gifted and when you combine that with a need to contribute to society or your community, you’ll be very satisfied with your work.
Yours is the path of service, and when you follow that calling, the money will find its way to you. Mercury is your ruling planet, and Mercury is associated with communication, learning and short-distance travel. You need to seek out positions that will turn into an asset what many people might initially see as a liability. You’re so detail oriented that in many positions this could be seen as overkill, as something that is just unnecessarily fussy. Find work where you need that focus on the minutiae. You’ll be glad you did, for few have your tenacity for such meticulous work, and you could earn very good money for being so finicky!
You’ll need to make sure that you don’t bite off more than you can chew, though. You’re so keen to please, and have such a high work ethic, that it’s easy for unscrupulous employers and work colleagues to keep loading you up with jobs to do. You pride yourself in a task well done and you don’t like to let people down. It’s one thing to be conscientious, but quite another to let people use you. It’s okay to say no once in awhile, as long as you do it kindly and with grace.
Capricorn — Traditional Values
You’re focused on material gain — sometimes to the point of being cold and materialistic. You know how to find, make and keep money. If you’ve got any challenges when it comes to your income, it’s probably that you can be a bit mercenary and do something because it pays well, rather than because you feel called to do it.
Saturn is the ruling planet of Capricorn, and it can bring a bit of a dour energy to things at times. Don’t sell yourself short — you can earn well, and still enjoy the experience! You’re not really one who’s out to seek fame, but if it comes to you, you’re not going to turn it away. You like to take things traditionally and steadily, and you rarely do anything in a hurry. You are a valuable employee, for you have this uncanny knack of just taking everything in your stride, solving problems as they arise, and not getting too ruffled about anything. When challenges do come along, you don’t make waves, you just get on with finding solutions. You’ll have the respect of your co-workers and the admiration of your boss because of this mindset.
In fact, you can be so dedicated to the task at hand that it can make you seem reserved, or even cold-hearted and distant. You might find that more money will flow to you if you can set some of that aloofness aside. Try to loosen up a little bit and fit in more with the work team rather than shouldering your obligations.

Pairing: MadaraTobirama Word count: 2540 Chapter: 4/7 Summary:  An accident at work leaves Tobirama blinded while his eyes are bandaged to heal from some rather nasty burns. Too busy with his own job to play the role of caretaker, wife too pregnant to place the burden on her, Hashirama calls upon his best friend Madara to stay with them and help Tobirama out in anyway he can. Madara isn’t exactly thrilled to play babysitter but he can see an opportunity when one comes along; this may be the chance he’s always waited for.

Chapter 4
Getting ready for the day ahead of him was filled with patterns so ingrained that Tobirama didn’t bother to question some of them until someone else did. Things like why he even bothered to slip his phone in his pocket when he knew full well the smooth touchscreen would be useless to him.
Sitting and listening to the tinny sound of his ringer, he felt he could understand a lot better now why so many people at work glared whenever his phone rang. That was, without a doubt, the single most annoying sound he had ever been forced to sit through without being able to do something about it. He could remember picking that tone because it was the most likely to cut through the fog of concentration while he was working but now when there was nothing else for him to do but sit and listen? If he knew where it had landed after he’d thrown it Tobirama knew he would only throw it again and hope for a more spectacular landing.
“For the love of fuck!” Madara's footsteps were almost welcome as they stormed in to the room. “Pick up your fucking phone, Senju!”
“I can’t, you asshole.”
Dead silence followed for perhaps two full seconds until it was broken by another tinny ring.
“Oh. Right. Do you want me to accept the call for you?”
“Anything to get whoever that is to stop calling.” Considering the tenacity of the caller, Tobirama was pretty sure he knew who it was. His guess was confirmed when Madara snorted from over by where his desk would be.
“It’s Izuna. Should have known. Here – what do you want, you little shit?”
Muffled laughter played back and Tobirama couldn’t help but smile at the sound of his best friend’s voice. “So it’s true! Old Tobes must be in trouble if you’re answering his phone for him. Give me to him! I want to see his stupid face!”
“Ugh. Here you go, Senju. It’s a video call so if you really want to frustrate him then keep it pointed at a wall.”
Angry chittering told him where the phone was without having to ask and Tobirama was still smiling reluctantly as he reached out with both hands for Madara to slip the device between them. He did consider facing it towards the wall but he didn’t really want to drive away any possible form of entertainment that would last longer than it took to fail at meditation again. So he offered Madara a grateful hum and did his best to situate the phone screen so it was pointed at his face
“You look like you got attacked by a mummy,” Izuna told him.
“Thanks, you look great too.”
“You can’t see me, you dumb fuck.”
“And it’s the best look I’ve ever seen on you.” Tobirama grinned wider, already feeling better about his situation than he had in days.
Izuna called him all sorts of names, smooth voice turned shrill with offence, but eventually he calmed down enough to speak like a normal human being once more. “One of your buddies at the lab emailed me and he sounded really freaked out, blah blah blah, emergency contact. I just called to see if you melted your whole face off or something.”
“Just retinal burns. And maybe a few on my skin. Nothing that won’t heal.”
“Aw, look at you being all brave!” Izuna’s voice snickered.
Tobirama resisted the urge to roll his eyes, knowing the motion would be neither comfortable nor visible. “You know damn well that if you hadn’t trekked off to who-knows-where on this stupid ‘finding yourself’ journey you’d have been right there in the bed next to mine weeping about losing your own sight too.”
“I think I’ve pulled your ass out of the fire enough times, I’ve earned the right to laugh at you from afar.”
“Fair enough.” And it was. Rivals from the day they met, best friends shortly thereafter, Izuna had covered for him without question countless times when his enthusiasm for science outweighed his common sense.
“So what’s my brother doing there? Did Hashirama call him over to babysit while he’s at work or something?”
“Or something,” Tobirama growled. “He called your brother over to stay with us for two stupid weeks. I tried to tell him I was just fine as long as I can call Mito for help but he’s had her on bed rest for almost a month already.”
Even without being able to see him Tobirama knew Izuna would be cringing. “Crap. How are you holding up with that?”
He took a moment to think about it for a moment, shifting the phone in his hand until he remembered that Izuna was on video call and the movement was probably making him sick. Just for good measure he gave it a good shake and gave a quick smile when he heard the man screaming for him to stop.
“I guess it’s been fine so far. Did you know he talks to himself while he works?”
“Yeah.” Izuna made a sound that was either an imitation of a dying whale or an unholy combination of sigh and groan. “Coding is an absolute bitch. I don’t know where he gets the patience for it. But he loves it, don’t let his grumbling tell you any different. He can lose himself in those dumb ass strings of letters the way you lose yourself in testing a new theory.”
Tobirama frowned. “Huh.” He wasn’t really sure what to do with that information or with the fact that the mental image of Madara poring over his computer with a little frown of concentration was somehow endearing. Best to just ignore it.
“So that’s it? That’s all you’ve got to say about your babysitter?”
“I don’t know. He’s a good cook? He thought ‘help me get to the bathroom’ meant he had to hold my dick for me while I take a piss?” Tobirama regretted mentioning that as soon as the words were out of his mouth.
After reluctantly entertaining his friend with stories of the single most embarrassing moment in his entire life, Tobirama made a point of turning the conversation around and asking how things were going on Izuna’s end. They caught up on all the places he had seen, all the people he had met, trouble he had found himself in and how he managed to escape it. Life hadn’t been quite the same since school ended when Izuna realized he had no idea what he actually wanted to do with his life and decided to solve this problem by packing a bag and setting off to see the world. Their long stupid phone calls were always long and stupid but it was a lifeline to a more normal existence where neither of them ever had to admit that they missed the other.
They talked for so long that Madara popped his head back in to the room to inform Tobirama that lunch was ready, startling him in to dropping the phone over the edge of his bed. Izuna screamed at the carpet until Madara shuffled in to pick him up and growl something under his breath.
“Want me to hang up on him?” he asked.
“Please,” Tobirama nodded. Then he raised his voice and added, “I was tired of talking to him anyway!”
“Bitch little blind boy!” Izuna’s voice called back, infused with as much love and care as had ever existed between them. His words were followed with the distinct blipping tone that said Madara must have ended the call as he’d threatened to without so much as a word of goodbye.
The sound of something being set down on his desk came almost in time with the sound of Madara clearing his throat before he asked, “Are you coming down for lunch?”
“Yeah,” Tobirama murmured. He waffled indecisively for a moment before setting his pride side in favor of curiosity. “Help me down the stairs?”
“Uh, sure.” Madara sounded surprised by the request and with good reason. The majority of his offers to help had been met so far with a scowl and Tobirama’s insistence that he could manage just fine – usually followed by an embarrassing failure to do whatever he’d been trying to accomplish for himself and a frosty silence when Madara had to help him anyway.
Clinging to anyone other than Hashirama felt weird but Tobirama did notice that he felt oddly safer with one arm hooked around Madara than he did clinging to the banister. Where the banister was solid and immovable it had the disadvantage of not being able to reach out and stop him when his feet went out too far. There was also the fact that a solid warm arm felt much nicer under his fingers, not exactly ripped since he’d never seen Madara work out a day in his life but still well-muscled and sturdier than expected.
Actually Tobirama sort of hated how much he didn’t want to let go when they reached the first floor. If ever there was a sign that he desperately needed to get back in to the dating scene it would be the act of subtly feeling up Madara, of all people, and actually enjoying it.
“It’s just onigiri for lunch, did you want to eat in the kitchen or the living room?” The question snapped him out of his thoughts and provided a very welcome distraction.
“Living room. Wait, is Mito around?”
“She took her food out on to the back deck.”
“Excellent, then she’s not around to yell at me. Lunch in the living room.”
Tobirama slowly started to grin until Madara’s voice dryly informed him, “Truly you live right on the edge.”
“Shut up, Uchiha,” he grumbled, turning away and heading in the opposite direction to get himself situated in his favorite armchair.
When Madara came back from the kitchen he shuffled each step on the carpet and Tobirama held both hands out in the direction of the noise, happily receiving the plate that settled carefully on to them. He barely listened to his companion telling him there were four onigiri in a square around the plate before he had settled it in his lap and snatched up the first one he could get a grip on, suddenly ravenous now that he had food right in front of him.
Until he was halfway through his third onigiri Tobirama didn’t pay much attention to anything else, too focused on shoveling food down his throat and wondering why he hadn’t eaten more at breakfast. When he finally slowed down enough to prevent himself from getting indigestion, however, he noticed a distinct lack of mumbling or typing. Either Madara was staring at him or the man was reading something. Whatever the case, it was odd for him to be so quiet and Tobirama felt all but compelled to fill the silence.
“Does he ever call you too?” he asked. The long pause before he got an answer almost made him worry he had somehow hit a sore spot but Madara dispelled the idea quickly enough.
“Sometimes, yeah. If it’s been a while since he checked in last then I call him just to make sure he’s not lying in a ditch somewhere.”
“Or breaking in to another brothel.”
“Ugh, don’t remind me.” Madara sounded exhausted just remembering that fiasco. “He’s been a selfish little prick his entire life; I can’t imagine what possessed him to suddenly go hero mode for a brothel full of girls who didn’t even want to be rescued!”
Tobirama nearly choked on his rice laughing. “He is a selfish little prick, isn’t he?”
Actually it surprised him that Madara could admit that to someone else. To each other’s faces they were as volatile and argumentative as any other pair of siblings in the world but when speaking to anyone else Madara had a habit of taking the whole protective big brother thing to an entirely new level, refusing to allow so much as a single bad word spoken about his precious little Izuna. It wasn’t quite the way Hashirama pouted and cried at anyone who said something mean about Tobirama and everyone knew Izuna certainly did not return the protective favor. Selfish indeed, he had no problem letting people bad mouth his older sibling.
“I should have known he still called you too,” Madara said when they had both stopped snickering.
“You jealous, Uchiha?”
“Not really.” Oddly enough, he even managed to sound like he meant that. “Izuna will call who he wants when he wants and there’s not much I can do about it. As long as he’s still healthy and happy out there there’s not much I want to do about it. He’ll settle down somewhere eventually.”
“I suppose.” Tobirama furrowed his brows and stared off in to the nothingness around him.
Madara wasn’t someone he would have ever cast in the supportive role. That was more the kind of thing he would have accused Hashirama of – or even himself in some small shades before their younger brothers passed away. It took a great deal of effort to turn his mind away from making some sort of cheesy joke about how not being able to see had really opened his eyes to the man across the room. Being temporarily blind did not mean he had also temporarily lost his taste for proper good humor.
“He hasn’t called in a few weeks though,” Madara distracted him just in time. “I imagine he’s got a lot of things he tells you that he wouldn’t tell me about. Care to gossip?”
“To make fun of Izuna? I can always lower myself to gossiping for that.” Tobirama smirked and ignored the little flash of triumph at knowing he’d made Madara laugh.
Over an hour later he surprised himself with the grudging admission that he was having just as much fun talking to Madara as he usually did with Izuna, a high honor considering Izuna was such a prominent name on his very short list of actual friends. Not that such a title spared him from the full brunt of Tobirama’s acerbic nature. It was startling to realize that Madara, whom he’d always thought of as a thoughtless oaf with little to no sense of humor, appreciated his wit as much or more than Izuna did. Their conversation dared to border on pleasant and held his attention just enough that he completely missed the sounds of Mito wandering through the room several times.
She made sure to tell him later – several months after the fact – that the open expression of joy on his face had been easy to read even with the bandages covering his eyes and added smugly that Madara seemed almost captivated by the sight each time he smiled. At the time, however, all Tobirama knew was the blank nothingness around him and the sound of Madara's laughter pulling him in until the hours of the day almost seemed to melt away from them unnoticed.
Quite like the warmth building in his chest, an unfamiliar feeling that he gave little thought to beyond pushing it aside to concentrate better as he continued to listen to Madara speak.

“ fine. you’ll never see me again, okay? ” ( sin leaving sophie after a fight post marriage ?? )
- ; phrases that really hit you where it hurts / accpt / @saeiqas
Her life was anything but picturesque for the eldest of three, destined for misfortune and plainness throughout the rest of her years. As the retainer to her father’s legacy, the flighty sparrow who’d rushed between duties meant for five bodies versus one, she knew that expectations on her were heavier than gold. But, support and care were void from her relationship with her guardian or those who relied on her; all the expectations of her were required from her (and the complication of emotions that weren't “appropriate”).
Now, deep within the Southern Seas, a contract created beyond their years by now phantoms to this realm had been the latest in a line of mishaps. Far from home, far from company, far from her life, Sophie was bound by ink to a greater mystery known to man. It was a union that was destined for failure.
Despite the stubbornness to locate loopholes, the drive to exploit diction in a contract older than their own lives, the tenacity to refuse marriage unless conditions were made, she has found herself to be a wife. Though with the technicalities she harnessed and sharp tongue she wielded, Sophie formally arranged a system of checks and balances for the newly established and officiated marriage.
One of the agreements imposed by Sophie (without better thought) was constructing their “relationship” to where he continued in the indulgences of sin, the leisure of fertilized grapes and appreciative flesh of his concubines.  Positioning herself not as a burden and barrier to his common practices and routine, in theory, would’ve facilitated their future betrothal with minimal infringements to their lifestyle. Conceiving the layout of tolerance and cushioning the radical change would’ve sufficed in their lawfully dreaded union.
If they kept to their routines, diminishing interactions outside of their obligations, Sophie guaranteed that their future wouldn’t allude to the treacherous marriage both knew would come.
Contracts, by written or oral compromise. followed one rule: it must be abided by. Head turned in the opposing direction, melancholic in the silence of tolerance and practiced etiquette to play ignorant,  Sophie dared not utter a word. Alas, reckless was he who held the world in his palms but, his gaze was to the horizon, with any objectable plan and action within his cutch. Power without supervision, however, only encouraged a spiral of control to the intoxication of arrogance. Sophie Hatter never shied from asserting herself to remind him of moderation.  Though, her talk remained brief.
Mahrajan, among the many festivals and public holidays, were the times in which the peculiarness of their relationship was found. To be found within the crowds was common for the wife of the King of the Seven Seas, she partook in the festivities with her genuinely tired smile. Yet, she flocked to the civilians, remaining in her customary plain attire, greeting many old faces and checking on the families. However, as she proudly twirled on her feet, lost to the flow of music and energy, she had been worlds apart from her partner.
Sinbad, on the contrary, remained his most trusted of camaraderie – his Eight Generals – lavishing in the day’s reaps and marveling over the country he knew to be his family. Nevertheless, he joined the joyous occasion with loved ones, be it his underlings or those who flocked to his body. And, never had it been with the “loving” wife.
However, Sophie never bothered with the strangeness of their arrangement. All she did was passively stare from afar, which over time, turned to bitter glares. Her folded hands devolved to crossed, tight arms over her chest. A soured expression resided on her face the further she caught herself looking with each passing month.
Turmoil was non-negotiable; to be against her own word was beyond her comprehension. Whatever spite that armed her mind with silent vengeance and pettiness only churned her, trifling with her plans. Her fists squeezed, her skin turning ghostly white, whenever she refrained from commenting when she witnessed his infidelities leisure. She swallowed her pride and picked at the flesh at the center of her palm, over the scars that littered the entirety of both of her arms.
Nevertheless, she had been the parasite, the fiend who’d taken upon herself to measure distance through each backlash and riposte against one who’d been determined to be an anomaly of miracles.
The patience she held onto grew shrill anytime her eyes met with his, her scorn flashing across her eyes. With the question emerging whenever Sinbad caught her, the woman ignored her husband’s suspicion and concern. Though, dismissively, she commented clearly whenever they crossed paths, “Have fun.”
At that point, the High King of Sindria searched only for answers and was cursed with throbbing headaches and frustration over his wife’s ever-changing attitude. Sweeter than primroses when outside of the palace, docile yet excitable when in the presence of Sindria’s future, eager to know his creation, his pride and joy that was his destiny – his country and his people; however, the flower wilted within his reach, transforming to vixen with eyes only wanting to pry and unravel all she could of his being, almost always with judgmental eyes – almost pained whenever he spotted her at the corner of his eyes when she passed by. Yet, something lingered like a fondness, an unsung softness. And, the light in her eyes twinged, fading in moments when he went through his business.
The breaking point was finally met when Sophie’s tongue loosened and her true blunt nature emerged. To stare Sinbad down to the sun-bursting yellow eyes, to criticize him relentlessly from the beginning days to the moment they stood in front of another, to accuse him of the inconsideration of others’ emotions for his own ploys, the courtyard only turned to an amalgamation of trials and tribulations.
He, in turn, wasn’t complacent, he known currents more treacherous and chaotic than such a debacle. However, in turn of every inquiry her way, he only questioned her motive, her actions, her everything, trying to dig deeper to the point of what truly was her essence. All that built up where empty scenarios that were created with each new unanswered question, all there was the remains of their languishing relationship in the fresh cemetery full of wildflowers that twisted around the vineyards and architecture.
Refusing to meet his eyes, rebelling through the most childish of actions with her back turned towards him, Sophie gritted her teeth into her gums. A shaky breath escaped her heated body, how the temper swelled hotter than torrid wildfires and how the fire swelled in the pit of her stomach.
Silence occupied their distance, disarming the married couple, only leaving the unresolved tension wide open for all the flies and maggots to satisfy their appetite. With their relationship rotting with each second, Sinbad finally spoke:
“Fine. you’ll never see me again, okay?”
A dagger buried into her womb, the thin side of the blade repeatedly sawing through her, it all occurred the moment he dared mention that. While her body remained stiller than a corpse, her hand clenched desperately to the fabric of her shirt above her heart. Her mouth parted without any sound or breath leaving, only the vacancy of her unintelligible emotions escaping in the night silence.
Tumblr media
You don’t mean that. Please don’t make me imagine that. Sinbad, none of this is funny and that’s the worst offense of them all. Please don’t leave me.
“Sinbad, I–” She choked on her words. “Wait,” Sophie cleared her throat, forcing herself to speak with heavy thought in each word. Her pleads struggled out as she maintained her composure, her hand still trembling. She shut her eyes, swallowing her heart, as she finally turned to him.
“If you need to, I won’t stop you.” Every saturated emotion of her true self vanished when she met his eyes once more, coolly acknowledging his proclamation. Who was she to argue against a King’s word? Who was she to feel her heart shriveling the moment his hardened gaze was as loveless as ever?
Only the quietly bland “good nights” were exchanged as their eyes stuck to another, animosity bleeding through their formalities.
If her own presence ailed him greatly and even sickened herself to the point of forgetting herself, she should’ve considered Sinbad’s words to have some semblance of weight. Troubling her mind was unattainable and uncooperative emotions, troubling him was simply her existence. To remedy such conflict of interest and tension, perhaps, distance was the answer.
Sweeping through her own cramped office to her belongings neatly stacked in the corner of the bedroom, a simple gesture from her wrist sent her magic to work. Every object to her name, be it her own materials, books, clothing, accessories, drawings, creations, and many more, flew into the air and began sorting into shelves and boxes as tightly as possible through the most utmost respect to size and color.
Leaving these rooms she haunted spotless of her presence was only the beginning. Sophie soon loosened her braid and tightened it into a ponytail. Garments belonging to her “status” (as plainly as they were) were discarded, folded, and placed away. Slipping into her black tights, tucking in her white cotton-pressed shirt, buttoning her gray jacket, and flattening the length of her knee-tall skirt, she resorted to her traveler’s attire.
“Come,” the sorceress reached out her arm, unphased at the thought of her magic being known at this point. Her qualms were secondary to her problem-solving. Her broom came flying into her hands and she tapped the front of her boots into the pristine floors, spotting his empty space on their mattress.
He must be out in the “entertainment” district, drinking away the facts of this horrendous life we have. He must be reconsidering accepting this situation. Inebriated beyond the point of comprehensive choice-making, he’ll find more solace there than here with a stranger like me,  an idiot who is lost beyond words with what is going on with me.
Fastening her bag over her shoulder, gathering last-minute writing utensils and paper, she snapped her finger as her broom floated at her midriff. Stationing herself and straddling properly on the broom, she glanced back once more to the lifestyle of hopelessness she only more than ever regretted, if not for her strange daydreams.
Turning her cheek, adamant to stick to her word now, she chewed on her tongue and left past the open windows.
The silhouette of the sorceress was accentuated by the high risen moon, only a speckle of dust in the radiant capital of parties and dreams. Past the bustling resident district, past the orchards, and past the outskirts of the city, the witch continued onward to the horizon to where she could better hear the oceans crashing against the sands, to where the busy lives of man were nothing more than echoes to her reclusive ears.
Sophie only found herself in the company of the stars, moon, and ocean when she made contact with the beach far from the ports. The forests were behind her but, she kept relatively close to the waterside as the tip of her boots grazed the sand in landing.
Now, the kindling of fire comforted her as she set camp, rethinking every action and line, charting every other path she should’ve taken. She sat at the front of the flames, huddling close. Her hands, however, were clinging to the fabric of her shirt as she took a deep breath – plummeting back to lay in the sand…to sob.
Loneliness was a part of her inevitable lifestyle, her fate. Yet, the wound to her heart continued to bleed as her arms covered her face, shielding her from the unwanted voices that’d tear her limb to limb if they found her in such a state. Hot tears trailed down her face as the rolling currents were louder than her cries of realization and pain.
Pathetic, aren’t I? I don’t want this, I don’t want to feel any of this. It isn’t meant for me, I don’t deserve it; there’s only more suffering that’ll come from it. But, I want to be looked at, I want to be touched, I want to be felt, I want something as impossible as his attention without the pity of this tragedy. Why did I open my mouth? Why couldn’t I have just been satisfied with these arrangments? Why did I want to be selfish?
When did this even start? How come I can’t stop this? What’s going to happen if this continues? Who do I think I am for feeling this way? And why do I want him to love me?
Tumblr media
The ocean was the guide to all who wanted to see the world.  Capricious currents to halcyon tides were among the power and beauty of the sea for the tumultuous motions couldn’t be controlled nor predicted. No matter, it shimmered in the moon and sun upon the ocean tops. Yet, underneath, the depths of the sea were like an abyss with only mystery shrouding the true intentions of its turbulent strategy.
However, the stars were a farther distance and couldn’t ever be touched; only through the illusion of a hand held to the sky, it could be imagined. However, the scattered constellations were navigators for being so far, aiding with their glimmer with those lost within the rifts of life. All that was shining was beyond human touch but, it was beautiful.
Perhaps, this was why there was the space in-between the water and sky. To reach out with hopes only ended with cold air between your fingers, making one realize how impossible it truly was.
TLDR: Sophie realizes she fucked up and unexpectedly realizes her own feelings.
Also, she went back after three days to the palace. She definitely returned to the city to help out residents (and customers). She definitely kept out of general sight. But, I’m too lazy to write that.

Filippo Loreti | 5 Reasons Every man should own a Premium Watch
Tumblr media
There are certain things you can buy that instantly make you appear more stylish, successful, and attractive. And a premium watch is one of those things. But if you’ve ever found yourself staring at watch price tags through a glass showcase and questioning the return on investment of a premium timepiece… you’re not alone — four and five-figure price tags is a huge problem for many watch shoppers. Thankfully, it’s a problem Filippo Loreti has solved. In this article, we reveal five reasons a premium watch is a must-have accessory for every successful man.
1. It makes a unique style statement
Tumblr media
Let’s be honest — looks matter. And while clothing, footwear, and eyewear set the tone for your style, it’s often the smaller, more nuanced accessories that speak the loudest. This is what makes a premium timepiece the ultimate men’s style accessory. Your ideal watch communicates your taste in a manner that’s never showy but bold enough to be noticed when and where it matters. People who appreciate subtlety and class are drawn to Filippo Loreti’s refined features including the moonphase dial and engraved case back. Filippo Loreti is synonymous with understated style and the smallest details of their handsome timepieces are guaranteed to catch the attention of discerning eyes.
2. It keeps time perfectly
Tumblr media
While the average watch is capable of “telling time,” it’s likely to run down its battery quickly… or simply not be able to keep time accurately. It’s also not built to survive much past five years. Investing in a premium-quality timepiece means your watch has been designed and crafted by skilled artisans to keep time impeccably for a lifetime. Filippo Loreti watches are assembled to exacting standards using tried-and-tested Japanese Miyota movements, renowned in watchmaking circles for their reliability and accuracy. They also offer an industry-leading 10-year, international warranty, so they will repair your watch at no cost to you, anywhere in the world, anytime within the next 10 years.
3. It makes the right impression
Tumblr media
It’s a well-known fact that men are often judged by the watch they wear. And while this may not be fair, it’s reality. If you want to make a bold and lasting impression — all without saying a word — a premium timepiece is essential. Filippo Loreti watches are at the same time minimalist and maximalist — sleek in silhouette but substantial in every other way. The smallest, most-subtle details combine to become stunningly-handsome designs that ensure both you and your watch are judged positively.
4. It’s a way to reward yourself
Tumblr media
When you reach a major milestone, post a lifetime achievement, or conquer a formidable obstacle, a premium watch is the perfect way to reward yourself for your perseverance, tenacity, and dedication. Seeing a Filippo Loreti on your wrist is a constant reminder of your past efforts and a source of pride to propel you forward in future endeavors. It’s the voice that silently whispers, “I can do this.”
5. It’s made by world-class craftsmen
Tumblr media
Wearing a timepiece you know has been designed and assembled by world-class craftsmen is a special feeling. You can almost feel the personal care and attention radiate from your wrist. The Italian leather strap on your Filippo Loreti is also a subtle reminder of the hand-crafted love your timepiece receives before making its way into your home.

In Memoriam: Advisors Offer Thoughts and Memories of Barry Liben
Tumblr media
Last week, Barry Liben, chairman of Tzell Travel Group, passed away. He had a lasting impact on the business, serving as the organization’s president and CEO for nearly 40 years and chairman of Tzell Travel Group since 2016. Industry leaders and Tzell advisors have shared their thoughts and memories of Liben with Luxury Travel Advisor. Here's what they had to say: Awilda Gonzalez, SVP, operations and engagement at Tzell Travel Group “What started out as a ‘job’ turned into a career because of BARRY. (Caps automatic). What started out as a job, turned into a second family because of Barry. He believed in me and helped me realize my strengths. Today, as SVP of culture and operations, I use everything that I learned from Barry, plus what he already saw in me. Barry was my boss, my friend, my mentor. He taught me it was OK to have fun at work, let the kid inside out every now and again. He showed me the value of loyalty, honesty. And most of all, good guys can finish first. I will miss him always.” Leslie Tillem, Eltee Travel Group, a division of Tzell Travel Group “I met Barry almost 20 years ago when he wanted me to join Tzell. That meeting was all it took to make my decision. While Barry was a highly regarded industry icon and leader to all of us at Tzell, he was my friend and I admired him for so many reasons. He was always honest, fair and a mentor to so many of us. I remember looking forward to our monthly Tzell meetings. His incredible sense of humor and timing was always the highlight. I will forever remember him as the quintessential family man who always made time for the people that mattered most.  As busy as we can be in travel, Barry lived for his family and as I witnessed his dedication to them that lesson helped me keep the priorities in my life straight. He was a leader and an inspiration to all of us and loved by so many. To Barry, I’d like to thank him for the memories and the many life lessons. He will be forever dearly missed.”

Cathleen Casey, Tzell Travel Group “It is hard to overstate the impact a strong mentor can effect on a life. Barry Liben’s presence in mine will last a lifetime. My time with Barry was relatively short compared with some of my colleagues, who worked with him for decades. I had just one. But it was more than enough to realize what an extraordinary man he was. I quickly learned that Barry could always be counted on to simplify the seemingly most intractable problems in an instant by boiling things down in a few questions. His office door was always open to me when I needed his advice or to just to visit and have a few laughs. I told him once that his sense of humor reminded me of Groucho Marx, to which he responded that this was the greatest compliment I could ever have bestowed upon him. His wisdom, generosity, humor, loyalty, spirit and joie de vivre live on through all of us he touched, and we are all better humans for having shared his world.” Steven Bear, Bear & Bear Travel, Tzell Travel Group “In September of 2008, Bear & Bear Travel started our first day at Tzell as ICs. The Friday prior, I received a call from Barry Liben wanting me to hear from his mouth that Tzell Travel Group was purchased by Travel Leaders Group and any agreements we made in writing or handshake would always be honored. Our first day, Jody Bear, myself and the entire Bear & Bear team were amazed on how fluid the day, and then month, went. September was exclusively dedicated to Show Time for the fashion world, which was our niche business at the time, this meant a lot of tickets, changes and demands. Our first month turned out to be the best month our business ever produced, our staff was amazing, but Barry made sure every department had a presence in our offices in order to circumvent any problems quickly. “October 2008, the bubble burst, as many other businesses the fashion world ground went down to a halt. We. for all purposes. were out of business and 12 faces looking at us for guidance. In November of 2008, Barry called me to his office: He said, “Steven, I never saw anyone in business get the s—t kicked out of them like you did.” We only worked under the Tzell umbrella for two-and-a-half months, yet we met a number of times to negotiate but for all practical purposes except for reputation, we were strangers. Barry told me, ‘Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered, whatever you need, however you want to run your business I’ve got your back.’ If we were at a different agency, we would have had our possessions in a box and, at the best, seated in a hole in the wall and told to fire our staff. Today, we are exclusively in the concierge/luxury travel business with offices in New York and Seattle. There was no way in the world we would have been able to be in this position if it wasn’t for Barry Liben.” Marian Lyn, Status, an affiliate of Tzell Travel Group “Barry is the true story of a self-made man. He was my friend, a role model and a wonderful CEO. He was family to me and the entire Tzell family. I am so incredibly proud of and in love with his wife, children and grandchildren. They were Barry’s life, and anyone could see the pure joy on his face whenever he spoke of them. He loved his family so much and it was inspiring and always showed. Barry was and forever be the nucleus of the Tzell family. He was an incredible leader for us. Barry had that God-given gift of being able to ‘read’ people and act off of intuition. We shared many of the same values: ‘My word is my bond;’ be honest; work hard; and bring a little ‘crazy,’ which I did and yet that door was always open, and he was always reachable. “The loss of Barry is immeasurable. Barry was the voice in the travel agent community and always fought the fight for us. He led us and laughed with us.  Barry knew how hard the agents worked day and night and recognized our dedication. He built a work family and I hope he was so proud of those accomplishments. Barry truly redefined the travel industry. He was loyal to us and always did what was right for everyone. In addition to being one of the best negotiators, Barry was one of the best storytellers and ‘roasters,’ keeping us all in stitches at our annual party to recognize years of services at Tzell. Only he could be that visual storyteller. Barry always sent out yearly happy birthday messages; he wanted to make sure we knew that he cared. Barry gave us a fun work environment, filled with ice cream and bingo. When we would have our ‘fireside’ chats, we would laugh so hard in Barry’s office. “Barry would always ask, ‘How are you?’ ‘How is your family?’ ‘Are you taking care of yourself?’ And the conversations would always end in ‘Be good, stay out of trouble and I LOVE YOU.’ My friend, Barry, I will miss him dearly! May he rest in peace and hope he knows how much he meant to us. I will miss our fireside chats and the laughter and will love him forever. I have the memories, so I did not lose Barry, but I have 20 years of memories which I forever cherish. I am TZELL!” Andi Henig, A Team Tours, an affiliate of Tzell Travel Group “It was the winter of 1992, way before everyone had cell phones and laptops. If you had work to do you stayed at the office and worked into the night. Alan and I were working on a national tour of a group of comedians headed by Dennis Leary. Barry had been wooing us to come over to Tzell to join his curated group of agents. He called at about 7 p.m. and asked one more time for us to join the company; this time, we finally said yes. He saw in us what we hadn’t even dreamed we could become. Barry knew just how to get the most out of everyone on his team. For the A Team, that meant leaving us alone most of the time to grow in our own way. He knew that Alan’s story was very close to his own journey growing up in Brooklyn. Barry knew that my Yale education and tenacity made us a great team. Barry loved the fact that we had both been Broadway actors before becoming travel agents. Barry loved the theatre and always wanted to know what shows we were working on and what the big, new hit of the season might be. “Just a few weeks ago, he came by the office to make his rounds. Barry looked at all of the show posters lining the walls of our office and felt the pride that came from knowing how much he contributed to making the A Team the success it is today. Though we won’t get any more visits like that, his positive spirit will always be a part of our lives going forward. Barry’s belief in what we could accomplish before we even dared to envision what we have achieved today was his gift to us. How we will miss him. How lucky were we to have been a part of his life for over a quarter of a century?” Eric Hrubant, CIRE Travel, a division of Tzell Travel Group “What made Barry stand apart was he really valued relationships and he really always cared for people. He always wanted to make sure that everyone's business was a success, and he didn't care how you did it, he didn't care what you called yourself, what you looked like—he just wanted you to run your business your way. There was no micromanagement involved. He really believed that everyone at Tzell knew what was best for them and he was here to support them to sort of do their best and do good work. And that's my lasting memory of him. After being at his memorial, the recurring theme was how Barry really did take care of people. If you came to him with a problem, whether big or small, he would go to bat for you. He was definitely a good figurehead for Tzell Travel, where he respected every agent that worked here no matter how big or how small. What I liked when I came to Tzell was he let me run my business my way and if I needed support, whether to solve a problem or to find ways to grow, you could go to him and he would personally help or have someone else on the team help, if it was their expertise. “Do you know what I really liked about Tzell? When you come into Tzell, we are a casual and fun office and I think just the spirit of fun really helps people succeed. I couldn't be CIRE Travel at other agencies. He was very happy to let me be CIRE Travel, a division of Tzell and have my own branding and do what worked well for me but having the power of Tzell behind me. That I could have my own autonomy within Tzell. It's the leverage, the buying power anytime I needed. If you wanted to come through Tzell every day in a three-piece suit, you could, if you want it to come in shorts and t-shirt every day, you could. He just wanted to create a space for people, excelled and he did.” Matthew D. Upchurch, Chairman and CEO of Virtuoso “When an industry icon leaves us, we are united in our grief and our appreciation for the contribution they’ve made to a profession we all love and value. Barry Liben was tireless in his support of travel advisors and the entire agency community. It was evident in the loyalty he inspired while growing Tzell as well as in his leadership of Travel Leaders Group’s entire portfolio. We all owe Barry a debt of gratitude for continually raising the bar and making us strive to do better, whether on the agency or partner side of the business. Barry always had my admiration for the humanity he brought to this business, and we both shared as a driving force our passion for life, family and professional purpose. During this difficult time, my thoughts are with Barry’s immediate family as well as his extended Tzell and Travel Leaders family.” Read the full article

Huachuma Cactus vs. Techno-idolatry|Awaken World
Tumblr media
Contributing article writer for Get up Planet
When was actually the final opportunity you saw individuals chat to each other on the way to or from job? Take a moment to think of it. Whether you take a bus or train to reach your work environment, many of the moment you view folks glued to their phones, probably including you. It has become therefore poor that individuals are currently like drunks, walking in to each various other, slamming into walls, road illuminations, cars and trucks, falling into channels and also fountains while texting. Researcher Jack Nasar from Ohio Condition Educational institution states that there may have concerned 2 thousand mundane traumas associated to mobile phone usage in 2010. A Seat Proving ground poll in mid-2012 discovered that fifty% of cell managers mention that they have been slammed right into through one more individual because that individual was actually sidetracked by utilizing their own cell phone. Furthermore the increasing fad of selfie fatalities. If this were not therefore terrible, it would certainly be actually amusing!
Mobile innovation has actually changed coming from being an unit for far-off interaction to a device for mass hypnotism. The iPhone in the Western side globe today plays the function of the groove of the Indian fakir, whose sound hypnotizes the cobra. Your phone is actually that groove as well as you are actually the cobra. It maintains you in a steady trance while nourishing you garbage information, negative thoughts, disinformation and advertising. In modern-day American society, having a latest as well as far better phone is prominent. This form of techno-slavery is now as socially accepted as alcohol, one more hazardous stupefier that, like technology, produces an illusion of happiness. Technological idolatry is incredibly naïve in its assumption that a selection of gizmos suggests liberation as well as flexibility. Techno-idolatry has come to be a modern-day, transnational techno-religion, advertised by media as the methods to happiness. Billions of individuals online have made a cyberspace identification, which is highly susceptible for control as well as abuse. An absence of sort on Facebook or even Instagram posts creates depression in teenagers and young people as well as requires emotional procedure.
Depending on to a latest study, Americans check out their phones a 52 opportunities time, generally. Astonishing! If they would appear inside on their own as typically, along with an intention to find what's within all of them and also self-reflect, their lifestyles would completely transformed. The issue, though, is that Western culture carries out certainly not show individuals this vital method of self-reflection. It is actually simply missing coming from the socio-cultural story. This is actually why Eastern metaphysical heritages are actually helpful, for they point the means inward. Obviously, plant medication is actually a direct technique that leads to clearness and also understanding, of oneself and also the world around. Still, reading the phrases of thinkers of recent is a great beginning. Discovering to appear inside is actually the only means toward healing and improvement.
Probably we can easily recommend a brand-new phrase to be actually included in the psychological guidebooks: social media sites syndrome. The complication is actually that cyberspace, which is a power generator of mass confusion, has actually represented instructor as well as physician of humankind, thereby becoming a resource of understanding to billions of folks and also a location where they acquire their approach permanently. This constant rush for innovation possesses a serious psychological effects: that everything is actually brand new is actually far better than all that is actually aged.
Properly, just before our team go any kind of further, our team can easily take a minute to make fun of this. Merely a week ago, a friend of mine who mosted likely to South Korea on a business vacation created me to discuss his problems leaving the washroom. While on the bathroom, he really did not understand what switch to press to flunk. An electronic commode had actually become a problem for my friend, who merely wished to get performed. 25 different buttons, all in Korean, produced it inconceivable to carry out the easy action of flushing the bathroom. Attempting different ones, he obtained his buttocks blown along with very hot sky, splashed along with warm and comfortable water and also germicide. To create his tale much more credible, he sent me images and video recording as he was actually attempting to leave the droid commode. He said, also to him, an MIT graduate, the innovation was way too much to find out. I giggled therefore difficult that I got up my better half up along with my giggling at this digital tragicomedy. This was actually simply very funny!
The iToilet Dash
I will never mount this "smart" bathroom in my home, to ensure that it could make me look silly. Caught in a South Oriental iToilet, my friend admitted that these individuals have taken it as well far. Personally, I select the outdated hand-operated toilets, equally as I opt for old-fashioned personal interaction with people. Also in this feeling, much older is actually certainly much better. I have actually presently detailed my mindset towards modern technology earlier. I know its worth and I make use of innovation myself. Innovation is my server, certainly not my God. I will definitely certainly never praise a machine, whether it is my cellphone, space capsule or an iToilet.
There is actually a greater issue with the idea of development when it just shrouds the outdated means of lifestyle as well as thinking. It is difficult to uncover in the well-known thinking about our time any tracks of early and great mentors. Cleverness is certainly never understanding. These critical mentors that our company need in order to reside our lives in properly have been just viewed as outdated, unimportant as well as space by the techno-digital lifestyle. But regularly progressing modern technology possesses a massive price of alienation coming from self and also attribute. Technician lifestyle is coming to be the brand new tenacity that can just deliver a replacement for joy yet never ever joy and happiness itself. Our experts present possess the cult of Apple, and also folks take pride in belonging to it. The brand new the lords, such as Google.com, Twitter And Facebook, are worshiped and feared. An electronic heck has right now been actually produced; individuals are sentenced to Facebook prison through getting 30-day restrictions. The story is controlled coming from Silicon Lowland, where social developers have presumed the divine right to control. They strongly believe that this is actually redemption. Substantially wired but deeply detached, our team reside our lifestyles certainly not realizing that this separation from our own selves and also Attributes is the origin of our individual suffering. Huachuma's serious, problem-solving clarity is truly a good thing coming from nature. In much of the world it is outlawed by the electrical powers that should not be actually. The antidote for individual chaos is disallowed. What a saddening, incorrect fact! Individual physical nature consumption is being promoted by a behavioral researcher on TELEVISION.
Fortunately is that this horrible fact is actually just one means to interact along with lifestyle. Individuals in early times prized Attributes for its own recuperation powers. The plant empire is astounding and also is easily available to use. There are actually organic methods for recovery that have actually verified to persuade manies thousand of years. All true connections are actually rooted in our hearts, and also sacred vegetations are actually listed below to reveal our team what is actually in all of them. As if on a display screen, our team may view our interior web content and create the necessary adjustments in our life, so as to irritate our interior ability permanently as well as guarantee the circulation of the recuperation power offered to our company. Rewired and also totally reset due to the electrical power and also intellect of spiritual vegetations, our team have the capacity to open our greater abilities for creativity and also aware residing. Our company possess to create room within our own selves for religious relationship. Greater conditions of awareness are actually the important food for our hearts, which are mainly malnourished and also deficient coming from staying in the present day world. The desire in the direction of unity is arising from the depths of our spirit, which belongs of the Entire. Huachuma medicine is this Global port.
Benjamim Whichcote stated that "really good men spiritualize their body systems. Bad guys incarnate their soul." This declaration will make much more sense if our company simply substitute "excellent" and "bad" with "self-aware" and also "unfamiliar." Incarnated in modern technology, our character has dropped ill and also is moving in the direction of the urgent space. I located Huachuma medicine to be actually the solution to numerous concerns and also religious ailments, which acquire resolved in the more significant clarity of the thoughts. This, naturally, irritates the powerless reductionistic researchers, that have actually ended up being an idolaters of clinical view and also the atheistic sight of lifestyle. To all of them, the spiritual realm is an aberration, a spot in some dark corner of the human mind where only delusional and psychologically ill folks go. To their restricted spiritual belief as well as understanding, the intellect of a vegetation is entitled to no attention, for, in their very own thoughts, it doesn't exist. Thereby each scientific research and also modern technology are relocating back while maintaining an illusion of progression.
All this penetrates when you welcome Huachuma medication in the correct technique and also enable on your own to observe along with your soul and also mind. It is actually by the harmony of the mind that our company can easily transmute the false realities and pseudo-religions of the here and now and afterlife salvation of the future. Right here and right now is the only place and opportunity where redemption is actually feasible. Coming from a lifetime religious hunt, I have discovered plant-based shamanism, Sufism as well as Zen Buddhism to be the methods that most anxiety the significance of living in the here and now moment. Huachuma medicine, especially, is actually that messenger whose clear and also direct notification connects with the midsts of one's center.
There are actually lots of perceptions of salvation, and also many of all of them are actually only recognized in a posthumous condition. The wide-spread idea in an external broker or agency must be actually deserted, for it is actually the primary block in taking our lives and also destiny in our hands. From the Messiah of the historical opportunities to the unusual ambassadors of the Alternative, humankind has actually been actually and still is waiting for a God-like figure to come down coming from somewhere and spare all of us coming from our very own unawareness and also wreck. This immature and irresponsible perspective in the direction of life is perhaps the best hurdle to personal as well as cumulative improvement. All externalized forms of salvation must be internalized. Sparing our own selves from our very own ignorance is an excellent start.
The final taped words of Buddha were these: "Degeneration is actually intrinsic in all element things. Exercise your own salvation along with carefulness." Perhaps the best present of Huachuma medication is this incredibly advice toward yourself and your personal redemption. It is the self-realization of the inner authority that Eastern literature conspicuously communicates of. Any time of individual history, this powerful ally would be actually a benefit. But today, with the growth of psychological health problem worldwide, this kind of adventure and also link is actually critically important. Buddha is. You are your own savior.
As Mahayana Buddhism's Sutralamkara states: "Indeed, the saving honest truth has actually never been actually addressed by the Buddha, finding that a person needs to realize it within oneself." And also this is actually maybe the absolute most significant present of Huachuma medication. It allows you to carry out that, amongst others factors. It merely opens your inner dream so you may view the imaginary attributes of enjoying pseudo-salvations like materialism, modern technology, scientific research and also religion: The worship of rational cause on one hand and also old wives' tales and dogmas on the other. Huachuma can plainly show you that organized religious beliefs is actually simply a selection of convictions as well as is actually certainly not a secure ship to board on a trip all over the ocean of life. Very same holds true for medical materialism. Each boats have holes in all of them as well as both will definitely kitchen sink on the way. All-time low line is that waking up is absolutely no longer an opportunity of minority but an essential need of the lots of, and it is actually achievable under specific conditions.
Huachuma is a delicate veil-lifter you can easily rely on. It activates the illumination in your area, where you can easily find perfectly what is actually within. In its own intense, dynamic lighting, what was obscure today may be observed precisely. And just like you can observe the condition in your area when the lighting gets on, so too in the lighting of Huachuma medicine you can see the condition in your life. Viewing leads to recovery and also improvement. Self-realization is the information of the unaware Self. Become your personal illumination. Do not try to find an external sanctuary. This is a mentor you find in Huachuma exotic. And these are not merely terms. It's what you experience, it's what you experience. And this take in is louder and more clear than any words.
I have devoted my 2nd publication,, to the Huachuma cactus.
This publication is the light dose of my medication. If you sound along with my terms, you prepare to take the following step and expertise Huachuma medication with our team in Peru. There is actually just say goodbye to opportunity for prejudices. The only opportunity we have is actually for recuperation as well as regrowth. Of course, it comes just along with discovering, deep, sincere pondering and also brave diving inside your own self.
Plant medication shamanism is the method to go coming from listed here ahead. Phrases like Heaven, Nirvana, Samadhi and Knowledge will not take us far. If our company do not find our religious roots, our team will just ruin ourselves as well as every thing around our team. What our team need is actually a straight religious knowledge of Divine Union to change our lifestyles. This transcendent expertise is actually the unifier that makes certain common growing. No volume of political as well as financial organizing are going to do the job till our company discover the hookup along with our own selves as well as attributes.
Please view our brand new film Divine Exotic, which reveals just how our team deal with the Huachuma exotic in Peru.
Sergey Baranov is the founder of Huachuma Wasi, a healing center in The Spiritual Lowland of the Incas, Peru. this is a tangent but re: serena throwing those snowballs at ash and what she’s saying there:
the fact that ash is something more than a perfect trainer and a blank slate and a hero and a gary stu in that whole arc - that means yelling at her, sulking alone after a wound to his pride, and GETTING STUCK in his tracks - IS ALL part of his character, part of his personality. what serena’s outburst in the woods implies is that she does not know ash well enough to deal with his less-than-savoury emotional responses - she demands, despite her original good intentions, that he needs to stop having those negative emotions, EVEN as she is trying to get him to open up about them. when he doesn’t confide in her and instead lashes out (obvs bad of him, bad ash!), she gets mad and can’t handle ash displaying negative emotions when she demands for the “ash she knows” to come back, as if he wasn’t right in front of her, yelling at her for bothering him while he sulks: he still did that, and that makes that behaviour just as much a part of him as courage and tenacity and other positive traits he has displayed in this series in front of serena... it doesn’t make those traits ooc, he just hides them really well until a moment comes where he doesn’t know what to do anymore, and here serena is telling him to keep hiding them.
and he (and the writers).. thought serena was right, and acted accordingly -> problem “solved”.
as good as i think the writing is in this scene (the direction and dialogue is very good imo, honest), takes serena’s point of view, and - if we wanna go with the media psychologist POV - it’s telling the audience that pushing down negative emotions and moving on without processing them healthily is the right way to deal with them. this is how you grow emotionally constipated men and women and others, folks. (obviously pokemon alone isn’t responsible for psychological issues of children but i like to think pointing this out makes a little difference.)
i love serena though, she is still a very cool character, and they are all children whose brains are not yet fully developed no matter how far they get in their . but she needs to wake up and smell the coffee. and honestly sent pikachu after ash instead, like wha
