I have like 30mins of downtime before I have to leave and go to my other job, but just wanted to pop in real quick to say that I love every single one of you lovelies that stumbles across my blog. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see likes/reblogs on my account and I appreciate you lots *hugs and kisses* 💜🩵

I have a big google doc thing where I keep track of media and stuff (putting everything in loosely ranked categories), which is mostly just for my own reference so I know what tv shows I've already seen before, etc. and I never really look back through it, typically just a quick "okay, watched two movie in the past 8 months, need to quickly slap them somewhere in the lists. okay. done. save document. exit". But today I was actually reading through some of the old notes and there are like... MULTIPLE places where my comment is basically "It would have been good if it were about elves" or "I wish there was a fantasy show made in this same style" or "It's well made, but I just keep thinking about how I would like it more if everyone was an elf or was in old 1700s costumes" or etc like...... lol.... Most biased media ranking system on earth blatantly made by someone with an extremely hyperspecific range of narrow interests. It'd be like if a food reviewer only had 5 foods they actually liked, so they'd just go to a pizza place and be like "eh, the pizza was okay, but I just think it would be better if it was cereal instead. :/ ...2 out of 10"

Thinking you shouldn't have to pay for Watcher content is you being entitled, actually.
did i ever say i shouldn’t have to pay for it? no, i said it’s disappointing that i would now have to after years of it being free. it would be easier to take if they were completely changing and upgrading their shows or established that the stream wouldn’t just have their current shows and maybe discontinued ones, that it would be different from their youtube channel and worth the sudden charge, but it’s hard not to feel like they’re throwing their audience under the bus

ok i guess im posting my dnd opinions today. alignment as a system is so fickle and debated because the average ttrpg player is not somebody who is interested in philosophical theory, let alone an in-depth discussion of morality, so defining both the good/evil and chaotic/lawful spectrums is fucking difficult because NOBODY here is equipped to answer questions like "what is evil?" let alone "what makes a person Inherently Evil or Inherently Good", and the fact that the average dnd group would need to satisfactorily ANSWER those questions in order to rules-lawyer certain spells/items/abilities is absolutely fucking ridiculous
