Month 3, day 8, I hid the guide so I could see how things are working without it, and the answer is eyes are hard. So I'm going back to focusing on just one facial feature, in this case the mouth. Next I'll do the ears, and I'll finish the face off with the eyes. Gotta save the toughest bit for last!

After I'm done with the face as a whole, then I'll do the hair and zipper pulls, then I'll tie everything down and make it clean (and probably do a lot of fixing things when I do that), then color, and maybe some super simple shading. After that? Who knows! It's still a ways off, so I've got plenty of time to figure it out XD

oooaaahh!! the year of art gifts: i got a new sketchbook and a pack of tracing paper, a blick gift card which i turned into a new set of brushes, a brush cleaning tank, gum erasers, and my first new set of quality colored pencil for the first time in over a decade!! in addition to the 25 varying shapes and sizes of canvases my mom got me. oooooh

#once i have some money saved up i’m going to PURGE michaels my god #i need painters tape and liquid brush cleaner #charcoal and graphite fixative #those sticky command hooks so i stop fucking up the walls i’m renting for only 6 months more oops!#one day a big old frame for my joan piece……#and then i want miniatures. there’s a tube of mini realistic human organs j NEED that #a bunch of dragons which DUH. and like. eenie weenie wee lil Foods and Misc.#obsessed with miniatures #mmm also another project; i have a ceramic christmas house #that is white and ready to be painted however. i’m thinking of obtaining those mini organs #and maybe carefully cracking the house open and painting it all meaty and doing summat w the organs #even w/o the organs i’m going to do a meat house

my analog horror would be called the bozo chronicles because every time I think wow I should try and get into some well written and conceptualized horror they seem to be having so much fun and then I make it half way through a review actually watching it and have to do guided meditation and breathing excersizes to feel safe opening my eyes again
