It was time for the results. You already knew you would fail again, but you couldn't this time, your parents think you are a disgrace. You wanted to slap the good results into their face but only if you got them. You had failed, again and again. Principal Weems was concerned. Maybe putting across this to your parents might help, but she doesn't know how they behave. Only if she knew.

You were waiting for your parents by the door to the Principal's office. Trying to control the tears, you looked above, to see them coming. It had felt like your death was near.

"What did you do this time?" Your father grabbed you by the chin and moved it to look straight into his eyes. "Do have anything else to do rather than just shaming us in front of the whole school?" He tried to clench his nails against your chin and neck but released it forcefully and scoffed. He opened the door to peacefully greet Weems, if anything your family was good at was being fake. "Good Morning Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N. Please grab a seat" Weems smiled and looked at you, her smile disappeared when she saw you, not because of your horrible results but because of how you looked. You had dark circles underneath your eyes. You just happened to look very weak for an outcast who is a vampire.

As you stood beside your mother, Weems had given your father a report of your results. "I'm concerned about Y/N, their results have been dropping since last semester. Is everything okay with her?" Weems with care in her eyes looked at you, but you were trying to hide your face by looking down to the floor. Oh good it will be, the cold harsh floor mixed with hot red blood. The fact that it sounds like an irony, but it's not.

Your father had laughed it off, he had already hated the fact that your mental health was awful, and now people suspecting it will make him just angrier. He didn't want it getting out. "There is nothing wrong with them, okay? They just don't study."

"I might agree but I have seen Y/N trying hard enough, I was just concerned that it might be some environmental factors or even the condition of her in your house." Weems had put across a valid point but your father was a rigid piece.

"YOU THINK Y/N IS NOT BEING TREATED GOOD??!" He shouted your mother trying to stop him, it all depends on their reputation after all.

"I didn't mea-"

"YOU CERTAINLY DID, WE'RE DONE HERE" He got up and your mother grabbed your wrist and followed your father out of her room.

She released it forcefully and turned to look at you, "You can't do anything right, can you?"

"I wish you would have died the day you were born" Your father clenched his fist. "whatever, lets just leave, she's a shame on our family."

"I'm sorry please" you cried as they left. Your body had felt so heavy, that you fell on your knees and whined. Your chest was stinging. You saw them leave, again.

You wish they stayed, but they never did. You wish they could have understood you, they never did.

You felt a cold hand on your shoulder, you wiped your tears and looked above. Finding Addams.

"What?" your hoarse voice had said in very not polite way.

"Comforting people is not really my forte but, I suppose being a killer is better than being a cry baby" For first time, her voice didn't sound so rude as it did before.

"What do you mean?" You stood and looked straight into her eyes with a confused expression.

"I think you should not let them have the peace of you struggling. I can help you with that if you want." She smirked.

"God, Wednesday are you kidding me?" You rolled your eyes and left for your dorm.

How good it will be, to see the hot blood spilled on the cold concrete floor. It was over for you. You handled it for so long now you have to burst out. Silently.

It's said that truth hits you hard but reality waits for you until you're ready to accept it. Then it hits like an irony of emotions. Peace yet a piece of confusion in your heart that wants to rest. Supplying blood for a long time isn't really easy, you know.

As you enjoyed 'American Pie' for one last time, reciting the lyrics "This will be the day that I die." A smile appeared on your face. Just imagine how your rested body will feel, free of the world.

As the song was in its last verse, you picked up a blade near your wrist, ready. You relived the memories you made, with Enid, Yoko, and Bianca. Sometimes even Weems, then the new goth girl. Wednesday.

You think about Wednesday, remembering what she said to you. She might have been right. Dying is boring, but taking revenge on the people is adventurous. You throw away the blade and run away. Never to be found again.

She should be right.

Summary: After your girlfriend of 4 years got brutally attacked at her house, you're willing to do anything to keep her safe, even if it means putting yourself in danger Request here :)) Warnings: blood, injuries, Tamber (one sided) (English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or if something doesn't make sense TvT)

You just learnt your girlfriend had been attacked the night before and ran to the hospital to be by her side when she would wake up.

When she opened her eyes, you could say she was relieved to see you next to her.

"Y/n...?"

"Hi baby..."

She started to tear up, lower lip trembling.

"I was so scared..." she sobbed "He- he was wearing a Ghostface costume Y/n... w-what if it's another psycho like the others...?"

You sat on the bed and hugged her, stroking her hair as she cried against you, gripping your shirt tight.

"I'm sorry I wasn't with you... y-you're gonna be okay from now on, I'm here, I'll protect you my love..."

You tried your best to comfort her, and even though you were not the best at it, it was working. She felt safe in your arms, face buried in the crook of your neck.

"Please don't leave me..."

"I won't, I swear. I'm staying here as long as you need me to" you placed a kiss on her head "Do you want me to tell our friends you're awake?"

She shook her head slightly, not letting go of you.

"I'll do it myself, but not now... I want to stay alone with you. Can you lay in bed with me...?"

"Of course"

You took off your shoes and slipped in her bed, taking her back in your arms.

You had no idea who could have attacked your girlfriend, but whoever it was, you were going to make them pay for almost taking her away from you.

Yet you felt that maybe they didn't want to kill her. They could have easily sunk their knife in her throat or in any vital organs for the final blow. But they didn't.

Either it was part of their plan, or they just couldn't.

You hoped it was the first option with your whole heart. Because if it wasn't, it meant the new Ghostface could be one of your friends. Someone that loved Tara so much they couldn't kill her.

If anyone else came to this conclusion, you would be the prime suspect. That's what prevented you from sharing your theory with the police. Your girlfriend doubting you was the last thing you wanted.

After Tara texted Wes around half an hour later, and ten more minutes for them to come here, your friends arrived at the hospital, soon followed by none other than Samantha Carpenter and her boyfriend.

You got out of Tara's bed when your friends arrived, now sitting on a chair right next to her bed, holding her hand.

How many years had it been since you saw Sam for the last time? 5 years? More? It felt like an eternity. She used to babysit Wes, Mindy, Chad and you when you were younger, but you knew her before that, being Tara's friend since forever.

You had always loved her, she was the older sister you never had. Until she left. You never heard of her since that day.

You hoped she had changed and she wouldn't hurt Tara anymore.

"Look guys, Tara's really tired. Maybe we should give her some space" Amber suggested

Everyone agreed and started to leave.

"Not you Sam. I want you to stay"

You gave a last squeeze to your girlfriend's hand before sitting up too.

"I'll text you and be back later in the day" you said softly

"Wait before you go..."

She beckoned you to lean in, and put her valid hand on the back of your neck, pulling you close to kiss you tenderly.

"I love you" she whispered against your lips

"I love you too baby"

You smiled, giving her a last peck on the lips before standing up, cheeks a little redder than usual. Sam looked shocked but didn't say anything as you walked past her.

Once you left, Tara broke down again in her sister's arms. Like you, Sam tried her best to comfort her, hugging her and patting her back.

She tried to make Tara think of something else.

"How long has it been? Y/n and you"

A smile crept on Tara's face as she heard your name.

"Four years, since freshman year"

Sam could see you made her sister happy. The light in her eyes, this little shiny light couldn't mean anything else. She always thought you would make a great couple.

Out of all of her sister's friends you had always been her favorite. She knew Wes had a crush on Tara back in the days, but she never thought she liked him back. Even then, she only had eyes for you.

"You make a cute couple"

So it was her all along? Her that attacked Tara at her house and at the hospital? Her that almost killed the person you loved the most?

You knew she had a crush on Tara. You saw it in the way she looked at her, even though she denied it. Maybe Amber's feelings were the only thing that saved Tara.

Amber tried to shoot Sam but Tara pushed her arm up, making her miss. Everyone split up, running away from the psycho while she dragged Tara upstairs.

"Y/n-!"

You rushed in the kitchen to grab a knife, before heading upstairs as fast as you could. Amber had a gun, you had to have something to defend yourself.

When you found them, Amber was tying Tara up with duct tape.

"Get the fuck away from her"

The brunette paused for a second before slowly standing up, reaching behind her for her gun.

"I really should've killed you when I could." she groaned, glaring daggers at you

She tried to shoot you but missed. The bullet only brushed your arm, burning your shirt and skin in the process.

You clenched your teeth at the pain but wasted no time and rushed toward her, cutting her wrist with the knife enough to make her drop the gun.

She bent down and held her bleeding wrist against her. You took a step closer, thinking it was safe, but her head jolted up before she launched herself at you.

Taken by surprise, you fell to the ground, knife still in hand. You tried to stab her but she stepped on your wrist, forcing your hand opened, and took the knife.

You scream in pain as she sank the blade into your stomach harshly, positioning herself on top of you. Her slender fingers wrapped around your throat, squeezing hard.

"You really thought you could steal her from me like that huh? She's mine. Has always been. I've waited long enough."

You tried to push her away, but her grip on your throat was cutting your air off, and her weight on you pushed the knife even deeper in your stomach.

You started feeling lightheaded. Was this really how you were going to die? You couldn't do anything, all your strength taken away by the lack of air.

"Fuck you" you managed to say before a vase crashed on her head

She fell to the side, the impact knocking her out. You took a deep breath and coughed when you tried to sit up, the knife still in your stomach.

Tara sat next to you, concern written on her face.

"Are you okay babe...?"

You gave her a thumbs up, still trying to catch your breath. You would definitely have a mark with how hard she was squeezing your throat.

After a moment, you tilted your head up slightly toward the knife.

"Should we take it out?"

"Wouldn't you get hurt more if we don't?"

"I don't know... but right now it prevents me from bleeding too much..."

"Maybe we should take it out. You know, no risk for anyone to twist it while it's still in you"

She wasn't wrong.

"Okay okay, but you're gonna have to do it my love..."

She gulped, looking at the knife with apprehension. She really didn't want to hurt you. But Amber could regain consciousness at any moment, and this time she would kill you.

"I'm going at three okay...?"

She grabbed the handle with her valid hand.

"One, two-" she pulled it out in one swift motion, blood gushing out of your wound

You swore under your breath, fists clenched. Tara was looking for a towel or something to bandage you up when you saw Amber moving in the corner of your eye.

"Shit" you mumbled, sitting up painfully "Tara baby, we need to go, she's waking up"

You got up as quickly as you could while Tara grabbed her crutches, lying next to Amber's bed. You took the knife and the gun with you, hoping Amber would be confused enough not to chase you right after she woke up.

As you went downstairs with Tara, Richie appeared in the hall.

"Where were you? Where's Amber?"

"Upstairs" Tara said "she tried to lock me up in a closet"

Richie's eyes widen when he saw you were bleeding. He got closer to you.

"She stabbed you"

"No shit Sherlock. How did you figured that out?"

When he took one more step closer, you saw something shiny in his hand. But it was to late to back up now, the blade was already sinking in your leg. You hissed in pain, tears in your eyes.

"She's gonna be pissed if I kill you. But don't worry, you're gonna die soon" he smirked at you "Don't even try to save her Tara, you-"

He turned around but she was nowhere to be seen.

"Fuck"

What happened after that was mostly the two of them explaining their plan to you, once you were all gathered into the kitchen - except for Tara - and some more fighting.

At one point, one of them plunged a knife in your back. You were tired of getting stabbed.

The first thing you remembered after that was Amber getting BBQed alive by Gale and Sidney. Deserved, you thought.

Then, the three of you went to the hall where Sam was slicing Richie's throat.

"Careful, they always come back"

Sam took Gale's gun and shot Richie three times. But as you thought it was finished, you heard a scream behind you. Amber was running toward you, knife in hand.

But before she could harm anyone, she was shot in the head.

"That's for stabbing my girlfriend."

Her sweet voice was filled with anger and sadness. You walked toward her, relieved that nothing happened to her, and hugged her tight, not caring if it hurt you.

Months after this night, your wounds had healed, only leaving painless scars. Your throat still hurt sometimes, but never too much. The doctors said it was normal after what Amber did.

"Okay I'm leaving, have fun girls!"

Today was your fifth anniversary, and for the occasion, Sam was leaving for the night, giving you more intimacy. You were almost living with them given the time you spent at their house instead of yours.

This year, you settled for a simple date at home; romantic dinner, Netflix and chill. With the recent events, none of you wanted to go out too much.

You spent the day preparing everything with her, cooking, fighting with the flour, laughing together. That was so much fun, knowing you were not the best cook.

Everything was ready now, you just had to change.

When you finally went to the living room, Tara was lighting up the candles. She was gorgeous. You stared in awe for a minute before she made her way to you and pressed a kiss on your lips.

"You okay?"

"Yeah I- You're gorgeous tonight my love..." you placed your hands on her waist "Breathtaking even"

You could see her blush at your words.

"I could say the same to you babe" now it was your turn to blush, making her lips curl up "Come on, dinner's gonna get cold"

That was clearly not the best dinner you ever had quality speaking, but it was the best because you made it with the girl you loved.

When it was time to get the cake - maybe the best dish you had made this day - you took a small box out of your pocket.

"Before we eat the cake, I'd like to give you something"

You handed her the little box across the table, a wide smile on your face.

"Wait I got you something too" she said

She handed you a little box, almost the same as yours.

"We open it together okay?"

"3, 2, 1..."

You opened the boxes at the same time.

You got her a promise ring, physical symbol of your love for her and that you would be there no matter what.

It took you weeks to find the perfect one, but you found it. The color, the shape, it was the one you imagined. You knew it wasn't that important, but finding a pretty ring was a must to you.

When you opened your gift, you saw... a promise ring. You saw this one when you were looking for hers. It was definitely the one you would have chosen.

You were both speechless, rings in hand, and after a moment you started laughing.

"Looks like we had the same idea" you smiled, putting the ring on while Tara did the same "it's perfect baby"

You got up from your chair, leaning forward to kiss her across the table, entwining your fingers with hers in the process. She smiled against your lips.

"A perfect ring for a perfect girl"

Following the heart-wrenching posts of @red-riding-wood, @kittenonpluto and @aurorag98 I feel like I have to write this. By no means I have experienced traumatizing interactions with @mrkdvidal1989 aka Killian Vidal but this whole situation and what he did to girls here make me enraged.

First of all, I want to reassure all the beloved mutuals who have been reaching out to me or who have been worried about my well-being because they saw me interacting a few times with Killian. I am perfectly fine and I'm not much here this week because I have been working a lot.

As for my relationship with Killian... Well, we were barely talking to each other actually. I know I am bad at replying to my DMs but this is not the reason why I ghosted him -- I purposefully did so because, like many of you, the guy gave me the biggest red flags. We talked a few times, and he called me hot when he saw the gym pics/selfies I posted. He quickly suggested we meet together to go to the gym and watch horror movies during my stay in the UK and to this I replied positively while knowing I would never ever do so. Right from the start I suspected him to be a liar and I felt he had built up everything about his life. Also, I come from a military family with many relatives working in special units of the French Navy, and let me tell you something: I screamed at the thought of a former soldier (from the SAS!! lmao) spending all of his time writing reader-insert fanfic for a female audience and discussing with Cillian fangirls. I don't say it's impossible, but it's VERY unlikely.

To me, Killian was just an attention-seeking catfish I'd never meet and who I found both boring and childish. In my opinion, I thought he just wanted to have a small court around him to strut around, nothing more. I tried to search for info about him to warn people, I mean I even doubted he was a man... However, I found nothing plus he seemed to be IRL friends with a few mutuals here who actually chatted with him via phone so I didn't want to take the risk of spreading hate about someone just because of a gut feeling. Never in a million years, I would have imagined he was toying with girls from the Peaky Blinders community, collecting nudes, gaslighting/harassing them, breaking them into pieces, promising marriage, and going as far as to promise a life-saving medical treatment to a dear friend of mine. I am devastated by what I have read this morning, and "devasted" is not even powerful enough. Learning from Red that he talked about fucking me when we meet while we never talk about sex, never flirted or anything (we just small-talked once in a while lmao) might be a bit creepy but it's nothing compared to what he has done to girls here.

I am deeply sorry to all the people who have been hurt by his horrible actions and are now facing long-term consequences because of him, some of them being my close mutuals. I send positive vibes, love, and healing to every one of you who had to deal with this psycho. I know a lot of people have already said that but my DMs are opened if you need a safe place. The Peaky Blinders / Cillian Murphy community is a nice place, maybe the most welcoming place I've ever seen on the Internet but we should all keep in mind that it is not safe from ill-intentioned users and predators. Please stay safe and, for the victims, don't blame yourself. You haven't been naive nor stupid or anything. The only one to blame is the person behind Killian Vidal's persona, and for the evil you've done, I hope you'll get fucked with a chainsaw. Or just fucking rot in hell.

bpd culture is listening to true crime and hearing cases where people have gone to extreme lengths like murder and torture to stop people from abandoning them, and suspecting they have borderline traits (from the way of thinking). I think, would I do that if I was that frantic? But what they did is horrific and gruesome (specific case was a woman who murdered her pregnant friend and stole her baby to stop her own husband from leaving her) Will I become that monster if I don't find a way to change myself? But thinking, no, I would never go to that extreme to stop my fp leaving me. Then again, would I? If all rational reasoning left me, would I resort to murder and become this horrific being I think that I am? But no, I couldn't possibly become a monster, because this woman hasn't even been confirmed to have bpd, and then hearing "her actions reminiscent of those with cluster b personality disorders" on the true crime podcast and my stomach drops.

And thinking that's going to be me. I'm going to end up a monster, rotting away in a cell where I belong.

pitching akudama drive to you, without relying on cutthroat's cuntiness to get me through it

SO the basic premise is that it's a cyberpunk retro future world of Japan, years after a devastating war between cities. criminals in this world are dubbed the Akudama and ranked according to the severity of their crimes, most of our main cast are the highly sought after S-rank. there's also a task force of executioners, who are like... the American police 😍 they can kill criminals

this here is miss 一般人 (yes everyone's got a code name and they are all very on the nose, say hello to Ordinary Person. she is very ordinary)

after a small misunderstanding, she's arrested and accused being a swindler. and without explaining too much of the plot, she essentially gets forced into pretending that she too, is an akudama, as an entire group of them is forced to work together to complete a job. eventually her false persona of being Swindler becomes who she truly is and I could not convey just how satisfying that character turn around is

the strong theme here though, seen especially near the end, is how criminals are human. how they all have different reasons and motivations for committing their crimes, and how they're people beyond just that, yet they're being hunted down and executed for it.

it's about how the government can be corrupt, and if they have the power to kill criminals... well then, it's just a matter of deciding who the criminals ARE and killing them (that foot in the door to be allowed to kill anyone you dislike because Oh Well they're a Criminal)

it's about carving your own path in life with tooth and nail, to not let yourself be held down and killed or have your life stripped away from you. fighting for a better future.

anyways it's only 12 beautifully animated episodes long, every character is a delight and it's just got a fun story in general

also cutthroat will be sad if you don't watch it

Okay, the sci-fi setting is a big plus point because I like sci-fi in general! Also, the part about the American Police deadass made me laugh!

The art style looks like something I've seen but I don't remember what it is. It's like... the style used in Persona! The video game, I mean.

Hmm... "Becoming the mask" as a trope is a bit of a neutral thing for me, to be honest. I think the Past Me had a fill of this with Durarara!! back then, haha. Being a swindler is a bit of a plus point, though, because I love stories about noble-hearted confidence people. Does this Normal Person Girl actually pull off really wild, big-brained insane cons like the French show Lupin or the anime Great Pretender? If she did, it would be a very big plus point! I dig that stuff so much because I love trying to figure tricks out!

As for the part about humanizing criminals—it's a wee bit reminiscent of Psycho-Pass, which I really enjoyed. I'm also currently reading Ajin, which has shades of this in its themes. Since I'm currently being fed, I'm quite neutral about this specific theme for now.

Overall, it is quite an interesting premise! I will hold onto it and wait for its Interest Meter to be filled even more.

Weird that I have never heard of this anime before! I mean, sure, I don't consume fiction a gargantuan lot compared to most people on Tumblr, but I still fancy myself a wee bit more learned than actual casuals! So how is it that I have never heard of this? Is your fandom big?

Also, Cutthroat can cry but I find it a bit suspect if he can cry. I mean, this guy's name is screaming "funky happy serial killer" so much!

I had been a Psycho-Pass fan since the anime premiered in 2012, but I disconnected myself of the series after the first movie. I'm still waiting to see Providence, so I can't judge until I see it by myself but reading how Kougami seems more emotionless leaves me....worried that the new writers have made him like that so they could push their "no romance" agenda in the series. It also makes me miss Urobuchi: say whatever what you want about the man, but a thing I always had loved about him is how he never was afraid to make his stoic and cold characters shown a vulnerable side of them and break the mask when they are confronted with losing those they care for - for what I read on his portrayal of Kiritsugu in the Fate/Zero light novels as well Homura Akemi in Madoka Magica - which leaves me wondering how he would had handled Kougami and his interactions with Akane if he had written Providence. Maybe is the Shinkane shipper and UroGen fan in me that feels doubly dissapointed, but still I'll wait to see the movie to form my opinion.

Ugh, this is so true. I feel like sometimes they see Kogami as this overused hyper-macho trope who is unable to express anything, and he's masculine, sure, but he's also sensitive and introspective. That's what made him interesting in S1. He cared about Kunizuka, about Sasayama. He was pissed as hell when he suspected Kagari had been killed. He cared about Masaoka.

I agree and suspect what you say is true. The writers are terrified of any whiff of romance in Psycho-Pass. That's why they gave up on the subtleties of any relationship and compensate with guns, fights and explosions. But if everyone is just "there", what are the stakes? Why should we care if someone dies since there's no relationship developed between the characters?

It would've been interesting to see Kogami struggle with the possibility of being close to someone. Being clumsy and stupid because he has no experience, but trying to connect with Gino and with Akane. Make an effort. And then see all of them finally reconnect in a way. They had it all set up with the Sinners of the System movies. I don't know what happened there.

I also wish Urobuchi would've contributed to Providence. He would have killed half the cast, but now Psycho-Pass feels too safe. No real risk. No dramatic peaks. I don't think we will see anything of the level of Yuki and Ko in the killing subterranean maze, or Akane hitting Makishima with a helmet, or the psychopathic perversions of the rich. It's not that show anymore without Urobuchi.

YANDERE HANTA SERO HEADCANONS

1. Well, let's start off by saying he's manipulative. He's a social butterfly like Kaminari and has no problem when it comes to socializing and making friends. And of course, no could EVER suspect that someone as fun and outgoing and bubbly like Sero can have dark intentions 

2. He is actually rather good at hiding his yandere tendencies behind his ''social mask'' thing. He will aim to try charming into your heart and your parent's and family's hearts as well. After all, he needs to be on good terms with your family if he's going to be your husband and your parents' son-in-law

3. I don't know why I'm imagining this, but, Sero would most likely be a clingy ASF yandere and a possessive one too. And yeah, he's up for showing all the scumbags who try taking you away from him that you're HIS 

4. When it comes to stealing your stuff and all that, it depends on how he's feeling. He does take a few things of yours here and there from time to time (it's like the LAW for every Yandere, I SWEAR!!! ) and if you end up being miserable about not finding your favorite hoop earrings or your favorite book? Boom! Expect a note on your article with Sero's name on it with a box of Godiva chocolates or your favorite type of chocolates so he can make a good impression on you 

5. This boi is a stalker all right, but he knows that you deserve your personal space. So, he won't go THAT far as to breaking into your house and watching you sleep and laying down on your bed with you and all that. He'll just follow you back to your house everyday to make sure you're safe and sound at home. But if he feels that you're STILL not safe, he'll just set up camp outside your bedroom window and watch you sleep ( Don't worry, he won't take pictures)

6. He's a pretty laid back and chill guy in general. But when he's jealous, oh dear, it'll be like pouring LEMON JUICE into Satan's eyes and hell will get unleashed at that unlucky chap. Someone bullied you? WHAT A SHOCKER: A BODY HAS BEEN DISCOVERED!!!! Someone constantly hitting on you and keeps on flirting with you? Eyes? gouged out. Organs? Taped and stored away somewhere secretive. Their family members? Dead. Hotel? Trivago (I regret NOTHING)

7. Though Sero is a scary sangwoo when it comes to killing people, he won't behave like a delusional psycho and go on a killing spree. No, he'll have a good and valid reason before killing someone

8. He won't be the type of yandere to kidnap you, that's for sure but he DOES know how to manipulate your feelings so expertly, that YOU'LL be the one asking him not to leave you alone. But, if you get severely hurt or something, he will make preparations to ''take you somewhere safe'' aka. kidnap you so you'll be free from all the dangers of this world. He's the determined type of guy who will never lose his confidence no matter how many times you scream bloody murder and how many times you act up or yell and throw things at him. He's convinced himself that you'll fall for him one day

You weren't super close to Mindy and her group of friends, but well, you and her were the only Not Straight people in Woodsboro (that were out, at least. And you always kinda suspected that Wes was, well, not as straight as he claimed. But that was none of your business) and gay people had to stick together at least in some capacity.

So you sometimes went to her house to study (aka watch horror movies until your brains rotted) and sometimes you would get to hang out with Chad.

Chad wasn't like the other jocks at Woodsboro. He was nice. Sweet. He never treated you like you were different. Like gayness was a disease he was going to attract by talking to you.

You always appreciated that.

And sure, maybe sometimes your eyes wandered a bit whenever he was working out or swimming. You're only human, after all.

But other than that, you did consider him a friend. Y'all joked and said hi in the hallways. You weren't permanent fixtures in each other's lives, but you wanted to be.

So one day, you confessed. And he rubbed his neck, like he was embarrassed or maybe just sorry to have to turn you down, but he just smiled. A soft, sorry thing. Patted you on the shoulder, and told you that you were a good friend.

And so you swallowed down the hurt and smiled back. You cracked some sort of half hearted joke to show that there was no hard feelings and you both moved on with your lives.

You stopped hanging out with Mindy at their house.

And then the Woodsboro murders happened. Again? And for an awful moment, you were glad you weren't that close with Mindy and Chad anymore.

Then suddenly, college was upon you. You picked New York. Figured why not.

And then, surprise surprise. Chad was in your polisci class.

He hugged you, in his friendly and enthusiastic manner. As if you hadn't ghosted him after his rejection. As if he hadn't rejected you at all.

You hated that your heart still sped up a bit at touch of his arms around you.

But he started asking you for help with studying, and it was like nothing had changed. His roommate had always given you two a wide berth, plus a weird look at your pride pin. Almost pitying? Maybe homophobic? You hoped it wasn't that last one, but you also really didn't hope he saw you as yet another lovestruck groupie of Chad's (okay, you kinda were, but you didn't want other people to see it.).

You were frustrated that your feelings hadn't quite faded even in the face of rejection, but the heart wanted what it wanted.

And then the murders happened again.

Chad had told you to leave, you weren't wrapped up in this. And sure, you might not have been a part of their "core four" but that didn't mean you were going to let them go through this alone again.

It wasn't just for Chad either. Mindy had still been your friend. Tara too, though you hadn't been that close.

Sure, you weren't the strongest or the smartest, but an extra body that the killer wasn't expecting certainly wouldn't hurt.

You and Chad both got stabbed trying to protect each other, which. Fucking sucked. Ten out of ten would not get stabbed by a psycho in a mask again.

There was a tilt of the ghost face killer's mask as you had pushed Chad out of the way and got a knife in your shoulder for the trouble. Almost pitying. And then they stabbed you again and you proceeded to not care how they were looking at you.

You were actually on the train with Mindy and Ethan when Mindy got stabbed. You were with Ethan, as she told you to "keep an eye on him". And well, you certainly weren't going to argue with her.

You should have.

Because suddenly she was on the floor, bleeding heavily. You and Ethan helped her off the train and she looked you in the eyes and told you to "get your ass back on that train, dumbass. I don't need two people to get me to a hospital. Make sure my brother is safe."

Now you definitely weren't going to argue with that.

So you hauled ass to the theater. You managed to catch up just in time for Sam to tell cute boy to dip. Fair.

You were honestly expecting the same speech, but Chad just squeezed your shoulder. "Woodsboro, right? Gotta stick together."

It had felt so, so good to be in his arms like that, but you weren't stupid. The way he was looking at you wasn't special. You were just his friend. Important in the way all his friends were.

He was straight. He didn't want you.

And also, there was a masked killer hell bent on making sure y'all knew very intimately as to what your insides looked like. Not exactly the time to be ruminating on your gay yearning for your straight friend.

It seemed like there was a moment between Chad and Tara and you thought you were going to feel your heart break all over again. But both of them just, awkwardly shook their heads and laughed.

"Lots happened in such a short time." Chad had said. "Somehow what we both wanted changed, I think."

And Tara had nodded. "You just, seemed safe. But that's not fair to either of us, is it." It wasn't a question.

And you just watched this and Chad moved to look at you and then suddenly hell broke loose.

You, Chad, and Tara fought against the fucker but the bastard had managed to beat the shit out of your skull with god knew what. Then they stabbed you. A lot.

But not as much as they had stabbed Chad.

As much as they had both stabbed Chad.

You tried to move, to reach towards him but he just looked at you.

The quickest of looks.

No, he mouthed.

And then he crumpled to the ground and they both left you and him for dead.

And it all went black.

You woke up in an ambulance. Frantic, trying to figure out what had happened to your friends. To Chad.

They didn't give you anything but a sedative to get you to calm the fuck down.

You woke up again in the hospital and thankfully Mindy was there.

Chad was stable, she had said, though beat to all hell.

Eventually, after a long while, you were both deemed fit enough to have short visits in each other's rooms.

"So, uh, I owe you an apology, I think." Chad had said. And you stared at him, confused.

"What the hell do you have to apologize for? Nearly dying? I think I can forgive you for that."

He laughed a little bit, rubbing his neck in that telltale way of his. "No, no. For what happened in high school. The whole...you know."

Now your look was just incredulous. "Dude. You're not apologizing for being straight. Like, I knew you weren't gonna say yes. I just, I don't know, wanted to let you know? Maybe that was selfish of me, but it's nothing you have to apologize for. In fact, I'm the one who ghosted you and Mindy. I should be apologizing, not you."

Chad shrugged a bit. "Yeah, that sucked. But I got it. You needed space. And honestly, it worked out for the best. You weren't directly involved when Amber went psycho killer on us."

You pretended to look offended. "Are you saying Amber would have killed me? I'll let you know that I am very scrappy."

You both laughed a bit.

"I just don't want you to be in anymore danger than you have to be."

And suddenly the atmosphere changed to something more serious. More charged.

"Well. We can protect each other now."

"Yeah. We can."

And he stared at your lips. And you stared at his. And you're left wondering what the hell is going on.

And then he spoke again. "I don't know what this means for me, and honestly I don't really care? All I really know is that I really, really want to kiss you."

You took in a sharp, surprised breath. But you let the feeling settle and nothing but sureness is left behind.

"Then kiss me."

And he does.

Random thoughts about Playboyy the series ep 13:

I can't believe we are already at the 13th episode. I spent 13 weeks with these boys and watched their antics!

Again I thought things happened a bit too fast for my liking, but it's okay. I imagined they would face only terrible and tragic things, however, I believe the outcome is in their favour.

▪️Nont and Prom have a weird dynamic. I believe they kind of like role play a bit too much. Playing tragic lovers but ended up kissing and professing their love for each other. They are so dramatic. I still believe Prom is mostly a character who stands there and looks good (the expression in my first language sounds so much better than in English --") but their couple grew on me, thanks to their fans on this website.

▪️Nont is struggling with his latest decisions because he endangered several people close to him and Zouey (who never missed a change to rightly scold everyone) told him he can't consider them friends if he never really cares about their well being in his quest of truth and revenge. I don't like the preachy attitude of Zouey, but I can admit he is always good at making people ponder about what they are doing. He is the best therapist for most of these characters.

▪️Puen is alive and mostly well. Yeah! Last week, I was afraid he was dead. Now, Aob and him must hide from Jason Lee and they found shelter at the boys' house. First helped them settle. Again, I decided I'm not a fan of them individually but as a couple, I believe they are meant to be. I hope they will get the chance to be happy and free from Jason's wrath. Turns out, Aob never found Nant so all this torture from last week was for nothing.

▪️We still haven't learnt about the video Phop found on Nuth's computer. We just know it has something to do with Nant and it happened around the time he faked his death. Nuth wants to move on and be able to enjoy a quiet life with Phop. They are a couple I really like since their conversation about the struggles they face even inside their own community. I'm glad Nuth never decided to get full psycho on Phop as I feared several episodes ago. I need them to be able to leave their problems away and move on to another chapter of their lives. However, I don't like this last drug deal Nuth wants to do for Jason. It smells like bad news and terrible outcomes. Also, why does he not want to give the video to Nont? I want to see this video!

▪️Zouey was so suspicious in the previous episode, but we never got anything from it in this one. Is it going to happen in the last episode? Is he really hiding something? Apart from that I just can't stand him. I don't even have a good reason. I feel bad because I read many posts about him and what he is bringing to the story. The message he is sharing and how important it is. Unfortunately, his character is really unlikeable for me. He always sounds judgy to me.

▪️Porsche, Jump and Tutor worked together to help Jump be free of Jason by faking his death. I knew he couldn't be dead. I just didn't expect Tutor to help the couple because of the history he shared with them. Jump also insisted on the fact it would change nothing since he wants to only be with Porsche. I had to say bye-bye to my idea of them being a throuple. It would have been a very toxic throuple, but they would have made it, in my version of the story 😂. Nont also learnt about this and he now wants to team up with them to take down Jason. Nont is incapable of doing nothing. He is a very goal-driven person.

▪️Now let's talk about Keen. I understood he wanted to get back at Captain because of the videos and consequences. However, I don't get why he is still pretending to be in love with him? He got him expelled and Captain didn't suspect him to be behind it. He should just break up with him and move on. He told Captain he would still help me get to his dream of being a professional athlete... For what reason? Their couple is so dysfunctional. Will Captain learn the truth in the next episode or will he forever be in the dark? I can't see them being happy together after everything.

Next week we'll be the last episode. It's almost the end. 🥹

Ch.2 - Another Day

Series Summary: There has been a recent string of your murders in your small town. Everyone, including you, is freaking out. You and your friends stay close together, as time goes on the murders get more and more closer to you and the people you know. Soon you find out that the killer is who you least suspect and everything is not what it seems. You find yourself in a situation that you never thought would be possible, how will it end?

You up the next morning around 10 in the morning. You go downstairs after finishing your morning routine to make some breakfast. You mom enters the house. "Hey mom, how was..whatever you came from?" You ask smiling looking at the bags in her hands. "Oh just a little shopping for.. things, we'll talk later" she replies heading upstairs. Okay then, after breakfast you head to your room to take a nap. For some reason you are very tired. When you wake up, your mom tells you to meet her downstairs. As you do you see her loading a shotgun. Your eyes widen. "Mom what the hell" you ask practically yelling. "Since there is a psycho running around we need protection I will not be defenseless!" She states putting the shot gun in the guest closet. "Now if we are ever in the situation where we need it. This is where it'll be" she says smiling, patting the closet door. You playfully shake your head. Your mom could be over the top sometimes but it did make you feel more safe that you had a gun inside the house.

It's been 1 week and a half since the last GhostFace murder. The whole town is on edge, but it's nearing Halloween and the people just want to have a fun time. The county fair is in town for a week starting today and you plan on having a blast, despite recent events. Halloween is a big thing for the people of Hawkins, it was go big or go home! Even though it was still at least 1 month away.

You were walking the halls with Eddie, he was carrying your books for you. It was the last class of the day, "SoOoOo" Eddie says in a sing-song voice. "SoOoOo" you mock him with a smile. "Wanna go to the fair with me, Harrington, and Stacey?" He asks with his pretty puppy dog eyes. "Do you want me to go or do you just not want to be a third wheel" you respond. He gasps dramatically, dropping to the floor lying on his back. A few students stop and stare some whispering things. You try pulling his arm.

"Eddie,stop get up" you say cheeks flushing red. "You wound me, I'm dead" he stares before faking dead with his tongue out the side of his mouth. "Yes! For fucks sake, Yes! I'll go with you" you speak ripping the books from his hand and turning into your class. He smiles and hops up. Letting out a "Yes!" in victory. You shake your head playfully as he sits next to you. "You are so drama" you smack his arm. "Oh no, I'm bout to fall again" he says getting ready to fall forwards. "Stop! No, I'm sorry" you tell him giggling. "Since you apologized" he responds sitting properly in the desk.

It was now, 6:34, Steve is on the way to pick, you up last even though you lived on street down from him. You straighten out you hair, going over it making sure it's straight. Before throwing it in a high ponytail. Getting your purse seeing if you have everything you need. You have your wallet, phone, perfume, makeup wipes, and lipgloss. You make sure your outfit is complete. Perfect!

Steve calls you, saying he's here. "I'll be done in a second" you tell him, making sure your hair is okay and then heading downstairs. As you exit your house, you lock the door. Eddie pokes his head out the window of Steve's car. He whistles "looking good sweets" he exclaims biting his lip. You flip him off making Steve and Stacey laugh. Eddie scoffs and sits down. Steve gets out opening the passenger door for you. Which was a little odd since Stacey was his girlfriend, you'd think she would be in the passenger's seat. You shrug the thought away and get in the car, thanking him.

"Why do I get a flip off but he gets a thank you" Eddie asks offended, "because you were cat calling he opened a door for me, two different things" you tell him causing Eddie to roll his eyes. "Fuck you, Harrington" Eddie mumbles slumping in his seat. "Hey, I don't swing that way! But I'm flattered" Steve responds. Me and Stacey burst out laughing. Eddie's mouth hangs open then he smacks Steve shoulder. "Shut up man" Eddie tells him ears turning red.

"It's okay, every guy is a little gay for Steve" Stacey says, making you nod your head agreeing. "Shut up" Eddie grumbles crossing his arms. "It's the hair" Steve states smirking, fixing his hair. You shake your head playfully. "Let's go" Eddie says in a sassy tone. "Yeah, let's go! I wanna have fun!" Stacey exclaims putting her hand on Steve's shoulder lightly tapping him. "Okay, okay everyone, calm down I'm going" he speaks putting the car in reverse, heading to the fair.

Steve pulls up to the fair, as soon as he parks Eddie jumps out and rushes to open your door. He reaches his hand out for you to take. You smile and take it, he helps you get out. "Thank you, Eddie" you tell him. He gives you a goofy smile. "You're welcome, princess" he replies, you furrow your brows and shake your head. "Okay let's go" Steve says bitterly, wrapping his arm around Stacey. Eddie smirks at him and does the same to you. You look at him and with confusion then just let him do what he wants. You guys get your tickets at the ticket booth. "Let fuck this shit up!" Eddie exclaims grabbing your hand and taking off.

Deadloch Speculation: Killer Edition, major spoilers to follow

Okay, so with the revelation that the killer's profile is that a man looking for validation, and also has access to vehicles owned by William Carruthers (possibly being will himself but we'll get to that). This implies that the man is someone who is friendly with the women of the time, unassuming, but also able to access the pentabarbatol. And so, here are my suspects with Pros and Cons to their likelyhood

William Carruthers

Evidence- He's named in the penultimate epsidoe, he's been a chekov's gun all season with his distictive shoe in the painting of him and Margaret being pointed out twice. It could be part of the subverseive comentary of the show that we Don't get to meet the killer before he's aprehended, or he might be going under another name and avoiding

Counter Arguement - We have not seen this man once outside of a painting. Could be the final red herring, does he exist or is Margrette using him as a smoke screen. (i've also seen some speculation that William is pre transition Margaret which while being a common trope in crime and horror fiction it still feeds into the 'trans/gnc psycho killer' trope and I don't think I want the Kate's to tackle that in the current political climate)

Ray 'Pies' McLintock

Evidence- Skye's best friend and works at the bakery. The male character who isn't an active shit cunt. we 'know' the most about him. Donkey was ill so could reasonably have needed pentabarbatol. it would be narratively devistating for the centeral cast if he were the killer, came to Deadloch 'looking for love'; perhaps this means female validation? Not for nothing he dresses like a fisherman

Counter Arguement - Seems to be unable to swim/swim confidently, wobbily access to the Carruther's family

Gez Rahme

Evidence: Organised the Movie at the lake on the day it happened and would be a hell of a coincidence for the bodies to come up during the movie, has easy access to Alyena's GP practice, In every episode of the show, seemingly very competant and just wants things to be chill for his wife? as one of the higher managers of the Feastaval he may have the easiest access to the Carruther's car.

Counter Arguement: the Actor who plays Gez is Trans masc, and while that can play with some of the gendered assumptions of the killer, it also falls into the same nasty transphobic tropes that has already been discussed with the William entery. Wants things to be chill for his wife.

James King

Evidence: physically fit (cyclist), seems to be willingly obtuse to how much HE'S been fucking over the investigation (tarp incident, not being clear about what's come up in the forensic reports), has access to the investigation and would be able to be 1 step ahead.

Counter Arguement: he barely seems to care about anyone other than himself so why would he kill the shithouse men in town?, also constantly stealing abby's ideas which seems to be in conflict with the idea that the killer wants to be acknowledged as this sorta white knight vigilante. Started being involved with Abby while she was his student at uni which while not illegal makes him a shit cunt with ethics that don't align with the killers appear to be. no known connection with the Carruthers siblings. Was in Perth at roughly the time the car would have been driven into the water.

Where I sit on all this

I think it's Ray. It makes the most sense and Eddie is gonna go off her tit at him and I think that'd be something the Kates would write. I also think there is a chance that Ray is somehow connected to the Carrruthers, possibly being William or William's son but that is much more tin-foily. I also think that James is in on it/ knows who it is but is keeping quiet for currently unknown reasons.

I was kinda hoping for the tragic hero for Salem, because he is 100% someone who would sacrifice themselves to save the ones he loves sdkjfghld but thinking of him as the villain is pretty fun too. 😂Salem is violent and he does have a chip on his shoulder though, so I can see him being the guy who's motive is that he got pushed a bit too far and decided to get back at everyone who has ever fucked with him. It's for sure one of those "I'll give you something to be afraid of" situations. Never innocents, only people he has a vendetta against though. So he easily blends in with groups and maybe he's not a suspect...yet. And if we wanna include Salem's mystical side too, sacrificial ritualistic killings also?? For some deity he devoted himself to?? This was fun though! I love horror and it's really fun to be able to incorporate Salem into that genre since he fits right in.

Poppy is still going to be a princess in the Dragon AU... But I couldn't help myself and started imagining her as a dragon too and I have to share XD

So this probably goes without saying, but Poppy would be adorable as a dragon ^^ (at least I think so). Smartass can recover some of his bruised ego because she'd be smaller than him (still bigger than a human, but still. I've gotta work on their heights, so I can't give an exact measurement right now). She's got grey horns that curl backward like a ram, so they'd be better used for smashing or shoving than stabbing. She's got snow-white scales with some black spots dotting along her back, shoulders, and tail. Which could be good for blending in with the winter, but not for much else. I'm debating on whether or not she'd be insecure about her not having colorful scales like other dragons. She can still fly, though the membrane of her wings are actually a bit thicker than the others, allowing her to better use it to shield or defend, and they can't get torn as easily. She's got a bit of a sleek body, but it's not long and lithe like Psycho's. And she's actually got a strong bite, too. But it's not really noticeable unless she's eating. Or the rare cases she gets into fights. So although she can't hide in the wild, at least Poppy has plenty of ways to defend herself.

I'm thinking Poppy could be a burrowing dragon similar to Shiny. Though while Shiny found a crystal cave to call home, Poppy actually dug herself a nice, snug home that literally only she can fit in. She hopes someday she can make it bigger for a potential mate, or even just a close friend, but so far she's had no luck.

Also, she will never go on raides. She's actually pretty curious about humans, and during a snowy day, she'll try sneaking into a village to learn more about them ^^ she... May or may not snatch a few things she finds. Not personal belongings! Mainly yummy foods that the humans make ^^ if this girl did find a public library though, and knew that it was allowed to take books as long as you gave them back, she'd absolutely try to take some. She has a hard time reading the human writing, but she's trying! She loves their stories ^^

So I guess Poppy would be kind of like Stupid with how friendly and easy it would be to get along with her. Offer her some books, cooking, or little facts about your kind, and you've got a dragon who will share her wing shield with you anytime ^^

When word got around that the Dragon Patrol were wreaking havoc all over the land, Poppy was scared of them; she knows that she's not the strongest dragon (it's part of why she hides). But she did actually try to find them and ask them if they could stop. The humans did nothing to them! And they were making them afraid of their kind, and that would mean other dragons would get targeted and killed! This just wasn't good for anyone involved, not now or the long run. But as one might suspect, she wouldn't have the best luck :(
