Ooh a bit of an angsty one!
Can we have something about when Alessia transferred from United to Arsenal and how grumpy reacted to the fans (not all fans but quite a lot of them) turning on Alessia?
Something about the transition period and how they adjusted to the new club please!
Love your writing so much!

the past couple of weeks had been a whirlwind for alessia but even more so for you. you weren't used to change nor were you a big fan of change.
you'd had basically the same routine your entire life. same bedtime, same favourite teddy, same favourite colour, same amount of sweets you were allowed before bed.
it was all you had ever known and so was manchester.
so when you got home from being australia it was a little weird to you not be going back home with your auntie ella and the other united girls like you usually would after an england camp.
when leaving for the world cup you didn't realise that, that was going to be the last time you were going to be in that home in manchester, the last time you would wake up in that home.
instead, this time you were going back with lotte and the other girls who lived in london for some strange reason unknown to you.
"mummy! where auntie ella going?" you asked as sat on top of the trolley of suitcases as alessia had went to say goodbye to her best friend not knowing when she would next see her.
"back to manchester lovie" she smiled softly, her voice a little shaky. your eyebrows knitted together a litttle, "why we not go with her, we live dere too!" you pouted, your face struck with confusion.
"lovie, we had this talk before we went to australia" alessia had stopped in the airport, dismissing lotte who stood waiting for her. signalling that you'd catch them back up.
"talk?"
"about mummy,, moving to a new club" the blonde spoke calmly trying to re jog your little memory as your mouth opened to an 'o' shape. realisation hitting you that change was happening as the talk memory appeared back into your head.
"your here, i thought you were watching tv in my room" you jumped a little at the sound of your mummy's voice as she came into your room. you'd been playing a game with your dolls on your bedroom floor.
"you wan be this one?" you asked holding up a doll towards your mum as she smiled, nodding and joined you on your bedroom floor.
"before we play though, i actually need to talk to you" your mum sounded serious as a frown appeared on your face, mummy only ever wanted to 'talk' when you had done something you were not supposed to of.
"oh- your not in trouble lovie"
"so mummy has been asked to join a new football club, called arsenal" she explained to you as the doll in your hand dropped slightly. a slight silence filling the room.
"you still play here?" you asked as your mum shook her head, "no lovie it means we have to move down to london"
you paused for a minute, it processing in your head "oh, but who play tag with after training?" you sadly smiled, you would play tag with millie and ona after each training session.
"i'm sure many of the girls will love playing tag with you, beth and leah play there too" mummy said as you looked back up from the ground.
"from england?" you asked as mummy nodded. it took a little convincing from you but once alessia had assured you, after you were a bit hesitant you agreed and didn't feel as sad about leaving manchester.
since the day in the airport, you had settled into your new home in london. it had already been better than manchester as you already seeing your uncles and grandparents more in the past week than you had the entire time that you lived in manchester.
you had made friends at your new nursery, settling in quick — quicker than alessia expected. as well as decorating your room the colour you wanted as well as picking out a new bed, which mummy had described to you as being your first big girl bed.
alessia of course had already started training for preseason. however you hadn't had a chance to go to training with being at nursery so today would be the first time meeting your mummy's teammates.
you were scared.
you don't remember meeting the united girls, to you they had always been there. but mummy said that was because you were just a baby when you first met those girls.
walking hand in hand with your mummy, your other hand holding your elephant teddy, esme which you'd had since you were really little held close and tight to your chest.
your mummy leading you to where she would put her training bag away, along with your bag before leading you down the long corridors to where the team was having lunch.
the arsenal girls knew that you were coming today and had asked alessia what was the best way to introduce themselves to you, not wanting to make you feel overwhelmed by all the new faces.
alessia suggesting that it be one by one as you weren't the biggest fan of big crowds and being fussed over.
you tugged on your mums arm, asking to be picked up as she did placing you on her hip as she walked deeper into the room. there being a few faces which you recognised that being the three england girls but once you spotted some of the other girls you hid your face deep in your mum's neck.
"oh is that you tiny?" beth beamed as you kept your face hidden feeling the movement of alessia sitting down. her hand rubbing up and down your back to try and soothe you, hoping you would come out from your little shell you'd put yourself in.
"she's gone all shy" alessia shrugged as she tried to peel you from your hiding spot, only whines coming from you as you dug your face deeper into her chest.
"shy? if there's one thing tiny isn't and that's shy!" you heard leah say, as well as your mum hum as she nodded her head in agreement.
it was true when you had the chance you could easily talk for england and would most definitely come away with a gold medal in that type of competition. alessia had her brothers and ella to thank for your chattiness even though she loved to hear you ramble on about anything and everything.
“tiny! do you want to see these photos of myle?” beth tried this time, you had been obsessed with the little puppy that beth had just gotten. myle was so small and any time you were at beth’s you would sit and talk to myle — you considered myle to be one of your best friends since you’d moved to arsenal as she too was getting used to all the new faces just like you were.
this seemed to do the trick as you slowly peeled yourself from your mums chest, half your face turning to look at beth, as the other half was covered with your grey elephant teddy. beth who was on her phone more than likely looking for the photos.
you looked up to your mum still unsure as you could see out the corner of your eye the unknown faces of your mummy’s new teammates. your mummy smiling nodding her head enthusiastically as you slowly climbed down from her lap and over to beth who was sat in between leah and viv.
you fingers in your mouth, you other hand having esme the elephant in it as you walked nervously over to beth, standing next to her as she lifted you onto her lap.
her phone screen in front of you as she showed you an arrange of photos of myle, some with a little scarf wrapped around her collar, some of her just lying asleep around beth and viv’s apartment and the rest were myle with some of the girls who were sat in the room with you right now.
“who dat?” you pointed to one of the girls who was holding myle another one of the girls sat next to her as your face scrunched at the unknown people.
“that’s vic and steph, look their over there!” beth pointed the two girls out as they both noticed you looking at them sending you a small wave, as you returned it. alessia watching on as she talked with leah and viv a smile appearing on the blondes face as she watched you slowly come out of your shell.
beth carried on swiping through the photos as you had now learned who kyra, katie, caitlin and stina were sending them all a small shy wave as beth pointed them out in the canteen.
“who dis?” you pointed to the girl in the photo as beth has swiped to the next photo.
“and that’s lia” beth smiled as you looked at her confused, “no that not leah? le there” you frowned as you pointed to the blonde leah who was sat with your mum across the table from you.
beth chuckling lightly at your little misunderstanding, “no tiny, there’s another lia! look there” beth pointed to the other lia as you awh in realisation, sending the lia a little wave like you’d done with the other girls.
“there two leah’s?” you turn to look at beth, who nodded with a smile on her face.
beth carried on, pointing out each of the arsenal girls as you did your signature shy wave at them as beth felt a slight feeling of accomplishment that you’d began to come out your shell, yes you may have not actually met the girls properly but you’d been introduced to and anyway there was plenty of time for you to meet them, the arsenal girls would not only becoming your mummy’s new teammates but they in time would become part of your family.
alessia had now been at arsenal for a few months now and you both had fully settled in, your home in london had finally come together and your room was fully decorated and in your opinion a lot better than your room in manchester.
and now the league had started and you’d now become fully acquainted with all the girls and as your mum had expected once you’d come out your shell, you loved them all.
after beth sat you down and showed you all the girls, it took you a few days to learn all there faces but you had now learned all about them and they had learned all about you and your little habits too.
katie who you learned was irish and had an accent that you found funny as she would say some words funny like the word three always had you in stitches as it sounded like tree, she was cool too as she would let you get away with being a little naughty sometimes.
caitlin, steph and kyra were all australian, they all had a funny accent to you too but the three of them were all different. caitlin was quiet but she would always let you pass the ball to her and play tag with you once training was done.
steph would let you talk to her as she answered all your questions you had about australia especially after just spending the summer there. and kyra well she would help you cause trouble, she would always sit with you and colour as well as dance around the changing room with you when the music was on.
vic was someone who mummy would sometimes take to training, and who mummy would spent a lot of time with when at training. vic was dutch just like viv. and vic wasn’t a big fan of mummy’s driving and on a morning when you were going to training with the as you sat in the back vic would sometimes sit and complain about mummy’s driving as you would sit in the back in your car seat giggling.
and for lia it had taken you a few days to wrap your head around there being two leah’s as in your mind you had only met one leah and that was blonde leah. so you had decided to give them your own nicknames, leah one and lia two just so you didn’t get confused.
as for the rest of the girls they had all been very welcoming to you and your mummy, helping you both to fit in.
and now it was onto the second match of the season against manchester united, the first time alessia was going to be back since she left. to say she was a little nervous was an understatement but she was trying her best not to show it.
“you okay?” lotte asked knowing how much the blonde had been dreading this fixture to come, and it being so early on in the season was not helping. as she walked into the leigh sports village with alessia, you following suit next to her.
wearing your new arsenal shirt, russo printed on the back in big white capital letters over the top of your hoodie it being a cold october night down in manchester something alessia definitely wasn’t missing since moving back down south.
alessia didn’t say anything just nod as she looked over to her england teammate, her lip bottom lip between her teeth as her eyes making sure not to loose you as you three reached the changing room.
you sat on the bench quietly watching your ipad munching on a few snacks you’d been given as your mummy got changed and did her pre match routine.
“mummy?” you looked up from your ipad, your mum doing her hair as you watched her wrap her bobble around her bun. “yes lovie?” she smiled at you.
“we see auntie ella and mazza?” you asked, you knew that arsenal were playing manchester united as you had overheard mummy talking to auntie ella on the phone you then interrupting and talking to ella and how you were excited to see her after a few months not yet being totally used to not seeing her every single day of the week.
the excitement following through the entire week as it was all you had spoken about to anyone you’d seen, even the staff at your nurseries knew.
“after the game we can, i’m sure they are both just excited to see you” she smiled as you nodded excitedly, you little legs swinging from the bench as mummy kissed the top of your head before smoothing out her kit to change into, your attention going back to your ipad.
the match had now begun and was just nearing half time and you were sat with leah one who had come down on the bus with the team, but she still had a big ouchie on her knee meaning she couldn’t play.
you were wrapped in a blanket with your big thick puffer on which mummy had made sure to zip right up before she ran onto the pitch.
watching with a smile, but that smile quickly dropped as then you noticed.
the manchester united fans were booing your mummy. the same fans which would cheer and shout her name while asking her to sign and take photos with her just a few months ago. they were now booing.
the first time you thought maybe it was just a mistake, but then it happened again. every time your mummy touched the ball, they booed.
“why they booing?” you asked, as leah frowned not knowing how to exactly explain it to you but she could tell it was upsetting you.
“i’m not sure tiny” leah sighed as she pulled you onto her lap so you had a better view of the pitch. making sure your blanket was kept around you to keep you from the crisp cold air.
“me no like it” you huffed, a frown not replacing the smile that was on your face moments ago.
“it’s okay, look your mummy’s got the ball, she might score!” leah tried to turn your focus away from the sound of the booing but that’s all you could hear, it was ringing through your ears.
“stop! make it stop le!” you whined shoving your head into her chest as your fingers went into your ears. leah’s heart dropping as she watched you start to cry, deciding it was probably best to take you into back inside away from all the noise.
alessia watched each step that leah took, you in her arms. your face hidden, alessia knew straight away that the noise of the booing as well as the nasty chants were upsetting you. alessia had learned with time to block them out when she was playing but you were young and took things more sensitively.
leah had turned back to try and catch alessia’s eyes, quickly realising alessia was already watching leah. alessia mouthing a quick, ‘is she okay?’ knowing that was probably a silly thing to ask but she did always before running to get the ball from katie, still noticing the quick thumbs up that leah threw towards alessia.
the booing only spurred alessia on more, wanting to play that well that it would silence them. something the travelling arsenal fans had been good at, chanting louder than the many home fans.
leah took you back into the changing room just after half time has finished doing her best to calm you down and distract you — it taking a few laps around the inside of the stadium and a trip to the food van before the tears stopped.
back in the changing room, you sat down on the bench, your ipad propped up as you both began to watch a cartoon as you placed your blanket across your legs and leah knees being extra careful to not hurt her ouchie on her knee.
you both being very consumed by the bright light of the ipad screen you both didn’t even hear the sound of the changing room door go, the girls beginning to pile in at the end of the match.
“hey lovie” you mum cooed softly, placing a hand on your head slightly startling both you and leah. but you were quickly jumping into her arms as she twirled you around.
“you okay now?” she asked softly as you nodded, your arms wrapped around your mummy’s neck not wanting to let go. alessia rubbing her hand up and down your back as you placed a little kiss on your cheek, mouthing a thank you to leah who smiled nodding her head.
“good” alessia whispered, as you let go from hugging you mum as you sat on her hip. “why were they booing” you asked innocently, the same frown appearing from earlier, since you didn’t get a proper answer from leah, you might from mummy.
“there just upset i left that’s all lovie, there silly anyway and there nothing you-” your mummy began as your frown still stayed, “-need to worry about, okay” she finished booping your nose a small smile flashing on your lips.
“i know you love me and that’s all that matters” mummy told you with a smile as you nodded.
“now we need that smile to come back, cause i don’t think auntie ella and mazza will want to see you all grumpy!”

Hi my dream last night did something to me so here's a word dump I wrote immediately after waking up so I could get catharsis.
What if... instead of looping, Siffrin just came back to life?
~~~
You should've known it was too easy. No traps, only weak sadnesses, keys in relatively obvious places. It was so easy to get through the first floor.
But now there's a large sadness, and you've taken one hit too many.
As you fall to the ground you see your party close ranks in front of you. To protect you.
You see Bonnie, running up, with a crafted water.
Your vision is going dark.
There's a flicker, above Bonnie. It's…
The sadness it's arm above Bonnie it's attacking.
You tackle Bonnie. Something slams into your back.
You can't move anything except twitch your fingers you ca n't look up just at the floor
Bonnie's boots are there someone is screaming
You aren't g oing to make it.
You wanted more time w ith them you want to live you want t o stay with them you want to stay with them YOU DON'T WANT TO DIE YOU W ANT T O S T A Y W I T H TH
GAME OVER > continue > quit
You wake up from a deep sleep. You had a bad dream last night.
Someone's pulled the sheets up over your head. You toss them off.
Oh.
You aren't in your bed. You're back in your dream.
This is where you died.
It's quiet, now. No sadness. No party.
You look to the side, at the sheets you tossed off that weren't really sheets but your cloak, neatly draped over you where you were stretched out. Like a corpse.
Did you really die? But you're back here, so you couldn't have, right?
Maybe they gave you crafted water and it only just kicked in? But then where's the rest of your party?
There's a sickening certainty setting in to your gut.
You died, didn't you. And somehow you're back.
Your party left without you.
Good. They still need to kill the king.
Maybe… you can still catch up. You need to find them. You're okay! They'll be so happy to see you!
You stagger to your feet. You're a little light-headed, dizzy for a moment, then it passes. You put back on your cloak, grab your hat where it sits (right above where your head used to lie) and put it back on. Onwards you go.
There aren't any sadnesses, as you walk through the halls. Did they manage to defeat them all without you? Or was there some kind of reprieve after that large sadness?
You hope they got a bit of rest.
As you turn the corner, you see an open doorway, hear quiet voices coming through.
You don't know why you pause.
"—if we can't bring him with us, can't we bring him here at least?" you hear Mirabelle whisper, with a desperation that turns your stomach.
"I'm with Mira." Isa's voice is louder but still technically a whisper. He sounds so serious. "What if more sadnesses come? What if—"
You realize they're talking about your body. A shiver goes down your back.
"No." Odile's voice is steel in a way that makes you flinch. "We need to keep moving. We can't go back for them, or bring them with us. And sadnesses are just as likely to come here as that other room."
"BUT—" Mirabelle starts to protest.
You stop listening and force yourself to start moving forward. They don't have to fight! You're right here! You—
You freeze again as Bonnie walks through the doorway. They hug the wall as soon as they make it through the doorway, shooting a glance back over their shoulder before looking back down at the ground.
"Jus' need to make it to Dormont," they whisper so quiet you can barely hear. "I can do that. Just make it to Dormont. They'll all be fine."
They're sniffling as they shuffle along the wall towards you. Still not looking.
"I can make it back to Dormont. Then they won't worry about me and I won't hold them back like a crabbing baby and they'll be just fine and I'll freeze with all the other little kids and wait for them to—"
"Bonbon?" You ask.
They freeze, and turn towards you. Their eyes are dark and puffy.
When they lock eyes with you there's a beat and then they scream, terrified.
There's yelling from the other room. You ignore it. Your stomach is dropping like it's made of lead and you drop to your knees, stretching your arms wide. "Bonnie, no! See, look, I'm okay! I'm alright!"
They take a step back. "F-frin? Yyyou… died?"
"I got better!"
Bonnie tackles you into a hug and you don't have time to flinch as you fall back onto the tile floor, so you just wrap your arms around them. Over their head you see your other companions burst through the door, weapons at the ready.
"I HATE YOU," Bonnie is scream sobbing into your chest. "I HATE YOU I THOUHT YOU WERE DEAD YOU'RE A CRABBING IDIOT I HATE YOU."
Your heart twists but they're still holding you so tight, so you keep hugging them back. Your companions lower their weapons looking like they've seen a ghost.
Maybe they have.
You don't have time to think about it because then they're rushing in to hug you too, the warmth of their bodies pressing into yours, their tears dripping onto you—and you're crying as well, and even Odile, who hung back, has a glint on her cheek.
"I'm back," you say. Bonnie is still sobbing into your chest, but they've stopped yelling at you. "I'm alive. We're all going to be okay."
Guilty as Sin?
Tumblr media
Summary: Faded fantasies making way to labored breaths, the idea of a person making a home in your mind, even when the nights are long and lonely. You can't find it in yourself to feel guilty.
Characters/Pairing(s): Hongjoong X Reader
Genre: Smut, angst if you squint
AUs/Trope info: Non-Idol!AU, Co-workers!AU, Pining (whether its mutual or not is up to interpretation)
Word Count: 1k
Warnings: suggested masturbation
Rating: 18+
A/N: taylor didnt have to alter my brain chemistry with TTPD but she did. For @cultofdionysusnet's flower event! My flower is Camellia (yellow) - longing!
Tumblr media
Drowning in the Blue Nile He sent me 'Downtown Lights' I hadn't heard it in a while
Your co-worker, Hongjoong, sent you another song recommendation. This was a song you haven’t heard in a while, maybe too long. The melody calmed your anxious heart, soothing and comforting in a way that was familiar. Like flowers blooming in your mother's garden in the spring.
This cage was once just fine Am I allowed to cry?
Isolation wasn't something new to you, the usual silence used to be comforting, but now it just feels like a trap, a curse, a cage. The silence made it impossible to fight back against your thoughts.
I dream of cracking locks Throwing my life to the wolves Or the ocean rocks Crashing into him tonight
Your thoughts of your devilishly handsome co-worker. Constantly plaguing your mind in a way that only he could, making a home in a dark crevice in your brain where you kept all your deepest thoughts, rooting his feet into it, never leaving.
He's a paradox I'm seeing visions, am I bad? Or mad? Or wise?
It almost drove you mad, how badly you wanted him, hoping, wishing, praying that this man would look your way in the way that you wanted him to, to long for you like you longed for him.
What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh Only in my mind? One slip and falling back into the hedge maze Oh what a way to die
It was a fate worse than death, to pine for someone like this. It was almost shameful enough to make it a struggle to meet his eyes. You couldn’t look at him in the fear that he could see into your mind, and the thoughts you're having of him.
I keep recalling things we never did Messy top lip kiss How I long for our trysts
You wish to kiss him, so deeply, lips molding into one with the desire to never stop. Longing for someone like this is almost suffocating, to want to deeply that it haunts your waking hours.
I keep these longings locked In lowercase inside a vault
You keep these thoughts locked away, stewing in your own guilt as you try to shake away the feeling of shame from thinking of him in such a way.
Someone told me There's no such thing as bad thoughts Only your actions talk
Still, you rationalize that thinking this way is normal. You're an adult, it's normal to long for someone's touch, to feel their skin against yours in a way that only lovers have the privilege of feeling.
These fatal fantasies Giving way to labored breath Taking all of me We've already done it in my head
You say this to yourself as you feel the warmth of your own skin under your palms, goosebumps litter your skin in their wake as you imagine his hands running down your body, closer and closer to where you wanted him the most. Pressing his fingers into your sensitive skin, making you gasp at the simple stimulation.
If it's make believe Why does it feel like a vow We'll both uphold somehow?
There's a possibility that this could happen. He's single, open to the possibility of a relationship, you think he likes you enough. It may be delusional to think that he's thinking the same thing about you, touching himself to the thought of having you, but fuck it, dreaming is free.
What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh Only in my mind? One slip and falling back into the hedge maze Oh what a way to die
Gasp and soft moans fall from your lips delicately, fire burning in your blood, running through your veins just under your skin, the heat of his pretend touch made everything more overwhelming, pressure building deliciously in your stomach, twisting and turning violently, almost ready to snap.
My bedsheets are ablaze I've screamed his name Building up like waves Crashing over my grave
Reaching your climax to the thought of him, his name leaving your lips in a chant, a prayer, even. Your mind is clouded with lust, ears filling with cotton as the rest of the world fades from you, the force of your orgasm knocking the wind out of your lungs
What if I roll the stone away? They're gonna crucify me anyway What if the way you hold me Is actually what's holy?
Coming down from your high, you imagine Hongjoong taking his time to help you come down, to clean you up and take care of you like he always does. To hold you in his arms, hearing his heartbeat in his chest as you both calm your breathing, basking in the warmth of the afterglow.
If long suffering propriety Is what they want from me They don't know how you've haunted me So stunningly
You always think of him, not just when you're lusting for his touch in the bedroom. But in everyday life. You imagine living with him in domesticity, waking up everyday to his face, sharing important milestones with him, filling your heart with love for him and love from him.
I choose you and me ... Religiously
He was chaos, he was revelry. His bedroom eyes were a remedy for your endless Isolation. You'd worship the ground he walked on if only he'd do the same for you. People told you there are more people who were willing to fill your need for company, but you'd choose him over the idea of anyone else.
What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh Only in my mind? One slip and falling back into the hedge maze Oh what a way to die
You wanted to be his, you want him to be yours. In a way that nobody else could have. A deep and unyielding connection between two passionate souls, twin flames, hopeless romantics, lovers.
I keep recalling things we never did Messy top lip kiss How I long for our trysts Without ever touching his skin How can I be guilty as sin?
Summary: Aaron gives you your Mother’s Day gift.
wc: 1,992
Tumblr media
You wake up to an empty bed, you were shocked because Aaron loves sleeping in on his days off. You wanted to stay in bed but the smell of breakfast hit your nose. It smelt really good.
Just as you were about to get out of bed, Jack comes running into your shared bedroom jumping onto the bed. “Happy Mother’s Day!” He exclaims as he hugs you really tight.
It was so adorable you wanted to cry at his cuteness. You hug him back even tight and place kisses all over his little face as he giggles. “We made breakfast for you!” Jack says as you make a surprised face.
“Really?! What did you two make?” You ask happily as he smiles. “You gotta wait until dad brings the food” he answered. You nod your head and pat the side of the bed for Jack to sit.
“You excited for today, buddy?” You ask as he cheerfully nods his head. “I can’t wait for all the food and to see my all my cousins!” Jack said as you giggled. “I can’t wait either, bud” you respond, placing a kiss to his forehead.
Jack started talking about random stuff that kids talk about as Aaron walked into the room. You almost teared up at the sight. He looked so domestic. His messy morning hair, sweats, and a plain t-shirt.
“Happy Mother’s Day, baby” he says before giving you a kiss. You were both interrupted by Jack’s “ewws” and fake throwing up sounds. Aaron just laughed a his childish behavior. “That’s disgusting!” Jack said before hurrying out of the room.
After he left out the room, Aaron had closed the door so you both could have some privacy. “So what did you make?” You ask as he brings your plate over to the bed. “I made French Toast, topped with whip cream, I also made scrambled eggs, bacon, and freshly squeezed orange juice” he answers with a proud smile on his face.
“This looks amazing, babe” you replied, looking in awe at the food. “You deserve it” he said. “You must really want some tonight” you said as he tried to hide his smirk.
“Please?” He begged as you let out a little chuckle. “I just woke up” you whined as you grabbed some of the whip cream and sprayed it in your mouth. “Mhmm, that is so good” you said as your eyes rolled back some.
“You know exactly what you’re doing” he said as he eyed you. “You want some?” You ask teasingly as his jaw tightened.
You’re pulling your shirt off as your boobs are now free for him to see due to not wearing a bra. You spray the cream all over your chest while moaning. “You test me everyday, woman” he says before leaning and sucking your breasts along with licking the whip cream off.
As he got done licking it all off he placed a kiss on each nipple, then moving on to take off your shorts. He was happy to see that you weren’t wearing any panties.
You lay back with a smile on your face as you preparing for him to eat you out but instead of feeling his tongue, you felt..whip cream? It was a cold yet satisfying feeling on your pussy.
“Aaron? What are you doing?” You ask nervously. “Eating my favorite meal” he replied back nonchalantly as you raised your eyebrow.
He slowly licked the whip cream off of your slit and it sent pleasuring chills through your body. Aaron has never done anything like this before, that’s why you’re so shocked at his actions.
As he licked the whip cream off he began sucking each lip and your hands gripped his scalp really hard. “Yes!” You shout but it was muffled due to Aaron’s hand. His reflex’s were quick, as soon as he’s saw your mouth open his hand flew straight to it. You completely forgot that Jack was still in the house.
“Gotta be quiet, baby” he said lowly as you began pouting. He began thrusting his tongue in out of you, he enjoyed seeing you like this, how you submit to him, and how you crumble beneath him.
“Fuck! Your pussy is so sweet” he said before diving in deeper and spreading your legs further. He always loved how you tasted but the whip cream made it even better.
As he dove deeper into you with his mouth, you felt his nose rub against your clit. “Feels so-good!” You said in a choked out sob. The pleasure was beginning to become too much, but Aaron didn’t care.
He shook his head side to side while still eating you out, you wanted to scream. He’s never acted like this before. “Cum on daddy’s face” he said lowly. It was like your body just did what he said on command.
You came all over his face, eventually squirting due to him rubbing your clit during your orgasm. He let his face get covered in it.
He rode up from in between your legs and up to your face before making out with you. His face was glistening in your juices, you could even taste yourself while kissing. You broke away from the kiss to catch some air.
“You’ve never been like this during sex, Aaron. The sex has always been amazing but this-this was something else” you explained, still out of breath. He laid down next to you with his face buried in between your breasts.
“I want a baby with you” his says with his voice all muffled. “I thought you said you weren’t ready for another kid? You said Jack was enough” you explained as he shook his head. “I changed my mind. I gave Hayley something so special, and that was Jack. I want to be able to give you the same thing” he stated.
Your face softened as tears fell down your face. “Hayley passed away two years ago, there’s no rush into having another one” you replied softly. “I’m not rushing into it Y/n. I think you’d look beautiful with your round stomach full of my child” he said before placing a kiss to your stomach.
“I’ve always wanted to have a child but I didn’t want to rush you, and I wouldn’t want Jack to feel some type of way” you said sincerely.
“Jack has been wanting a sibling since forever, he’ll be fine” Aaron said surely. You thought about it and maybe he was right. Hayley got to have that special thing, why can’t you?
“We can start making that baby right now” Aaron said as he picked you up and placed you on his lap as you giggled. “Right now?” You ask again, just to tease him. “Yes, right now” he replied as he groped your ass. “But first, I really want some head” he says with a smirk across his face.
“Whatever you say goes, my love” you say to him before getting on your knees and taking his dick out. He was already hard with pre cum leaking out his red tip.
You took him whole as he let out a groan.
Yacht Girl Summer - Chapter Two / Friday - George Russell x Reader, Toto Wolff x Reader
Word Count: 2.5k
Warnings: Nothing spicy yet. This is going to be a slow burn and if you're uncomfortable with the idea of two-timing don't read this.
Author’s Notes: Disclaimer, purely fiction. No use of Y/N and minimal descriptions because I want everyone/anyone to be able to enjoy this.
FRIDAY MORNING
As your alarm buzzed at six, stirring you from your deep sleep, you almost regretted agreeing to Friday’s early start. Blinking away the remnants of dreams, you slipped out of bed carefully, trying not to wake George as you padded to the bathroom.
Showering quickly, you then slipped on a crochet bikini and a breezy linen shirt and shorts co-ord, hopefully suitable attire for a day of exploring. By the time you emerged, George was still in bed, his breathing slow and steady. Dipping down onto the bed, you gently stroked his hair, “George, wake up, it’s already six thirty.”
Disorientated, he stirred, “Huh…”
Smiling, you kissed his forehead, before raising your voice slightly, “You wanted to come explore no? Well, get out of bed lazy boy!”
“Aghhh.” he said, pulling the duvet up over his head, “I feel like you’re my Mum.”
Giggling, you lay back down, pulling the duvet back down to reveal his face and snuggling into him, “I hope not.”
“You don’t really,” he said, leaning forward to kiss you.
“Glad to hear it,” you said, before sitting up abruptly. In your mixed-emotion state, you’d been avoiding getting intimate with George and mornings like this were the prime time for it. Luckily time was on your side this morning and if George didn’t get moving, you’d be left behind. “You need to get ready, you have twenty-five minutes.”
‘Ugh.” groaned George, sitting up, “Sure. If you want to go ahead and get breakfast I don’t mind. I will be quick I promise.”
“If you’re sure?” you asked, “I’ll see you in a bit then.”
– – –
As you made your way back to the deck where you’d dined the previous night you were greeted with a surprise. Toto was already there, sitting alone at a table laden with pastries and fruit, sipping coffee and gazing out at the horizon.
"Good morning," you greeted him, feeling a little more confident after chatting with him the previous night.
"Good morning," he replied, a warm smile lighting up his face. "Missing your partner in crime? Is he doing his hair?”
Laughing, you nodded, taking a seat across from him. "You know him too well. I thought I’d make the most of the morning instead of sitting there watching him fluff his hair.” glancing around at the picture-perfect morning light you added, “It’s so beautiful out here.”
Toto nodded in agreement. "It truly is. And the water looks calm so we will easily get to the coves. If you’d like we could perhaps also try some snorkelling?"
Your eyes lit up at the mention of snorkelling. "Ooh yes, I love snorkelling. Is it any good around here?"
Toto’s smile widened. "It can be, normally when it’s calm like this you’ll see more. When it’s rough the water is cloudy and everything interesting hides away. Do you snorkel often?”
"Whenever I get the chance," you replied, reaching for a croissant and adding absentmindedly “George is less keen though…”
“I’m sure we can convince him otherwise,” said Toto, winking at you and taking a sip of coffee as right on cue, George appeared, looking groggy but cheerful. “Morning sunshine.”
“Morning boss.” retorted George sarcastically, pulling out a chair before sitting beside you at the table, “What are you guys talking about? You look shifty.”
“You.” you said, with a smirk, “We were talking about snorkelling and how you’re not a fan but we’re going to convert you.”
George huffed slightly, “Fat chance.”
“Why not?” interjected Toto.
“It’s dull.” George said, “It’s just floating on top of the water, getting excited if a little fishy swims by.”
Rolling your eyes at your boyfriend’s words, you replied, “Let’s see. There might be more than a little fishy according to Toto.”
Just as George was about to respond, with likely a sardonic response, John arrived, taking the seat opposite Toto.
“Morning campers,” he said cheerily. “Have I got time for a croissant?” he asked Toto.
“Of course.” said Toto, “I said seven but we can leave at any time. The crew have packed everything for us.”
“Good good,” said John, rubbing his hands together as he surveyed the breakfast table in front of him. The conversation quickly turning to racing as George and John immediately started vying for Toto’s attention, their animated chatter dominating the breakfast table.
Finishing your croissant, you focused on your breakfast, feeling the familiar pang of isolation. You’d been having a nice chat until John came along. Noticing the change in your demeanour, Toto shot you a concerned look, but there was little he could do with George and John in full flow.
– – –
After finishing breakfast the four of you regathered on the deck, ready to board the motor launch to the cove. The weather was perfect and you couldn’t wait to get in the water later. Toto had advised it was a quick journey and he wasn’t wrong as no more than ten minutes later you were pulling up to the most glorious, secluded cove.
“This is beautiful!” you exclaimed, probably the first time you’d gotten a word in since John’s arrival.
“Blimey.” said George, “It actually is.”
“Wow.” was all John managed to add, the quietest he’d been all morning.
Nestled along the rugged coastline, the rocky cove was a hidden gem. High cliffs sprinkled with patches of delicate wildflowers enveloped a perfect crescent-shaped beach, sheltering the cove from the wider world. Pine trees topped the cliff, the view picture-perfect.
“How did you find this place Toto?” you asked, turning to find the Austrian grinning away, clearly pleased by your reactions.
“We like to get out and explore.” he said, gesturing to the crew member who was steering the motor launch, “We found this place a few years ago and now we come back every year.”
“Amazing,” said George, falling silent as the last part of the approach was tricky, requiring careful navigation over jagged rocks.
Upon arriving you disembarked carefully, George helping you clamber out of the boat in a surprisingly gentlemanly fashion.
“Thank you,” you said, dropping his hand as your feet touched down on the sandy beach before you. It was rare to find sand on this rocky Italian coastline and you couldn’t help but be impressed.
Following Toto’s lead you made your way down the beach a little, where he, John and the crew member were already popping down an assortment of blankets alongside your coolers.
“This is nice.” said George, catching up with you, “I wasn’t expecting it to be this nice.”
“Yeah,” you agreed, “I’m glad we woke up early.”
“Me too.” said George, pressing a kiss to your temple, “This is the life, am I right?”
Nodding, you both reached the blankets and settled down on the outer edge, George and John making sure they were right beside Toto.
Steeling yourself for another morning of being ignored you were surprised when Toto offered you the first choice of drinks from the cooler, “Would you like anything to drink?” he asked kindly, gesturing at the box behind you.
“Oh, I’m okay thank you,” you said, not wanting to drink anything just yet. “But thank you for bringing everything, I’ll definitely have one later.”
“What about me?” asked George indignantly.
“Ladies first.” said Toto, still peering at you intently, “Would you like anything to drink George? John?”
Smirking at your boyfriend’s quirks, you met Toto’s eyes knowingly as George and John began to debate still versus sparkling water. Those two could chat about anything and you were surprised to see that Toto seemed to be much quieter. You resolved that maybe he was the strong and silent type.
Lying back you settled down, admiring the crystal-clear turquoise water in front of you, the motor launch vaguely in the distance as the crew member took it back to the yacht.
You were just starting to get comfortable when your peace was interrupted by a phone loudly buzzing.
“Sorry everyone,” said John, getting up gingerly from the blanket to answer his phone, “I’m going to have to take this, surprised I have a signal.” starting to wander down the beach a little way, he suddenly turned back and added,  “George, I might need you on this call too.”
George nodded, clearly eager to help and you were left alone with Toto once again. Sighing, you turned back to look at the sparkling water, wishing you could escape the growing sense of loneliness.
Toto interrupted your musings, his expression thoughtful. "If it is who I think it is, that call will take some time, while they’re gone, would you like to see something special?" he asked. "There’s a hidden waterfall not far from here."
Your eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Yes, I’d love to see it, but maybe I should check with George."
George overheard and waved you off with a distracted smile. "Go ahead, guys. I’ll catch up with you later."
Intrigued, you followed Toto as he led the way along the rocky shore and up a narrow twisting dirt path into the clump of pine trees, falling once again into a comfortable silence. The route was tricky and Toto was very gentlemanly, holding his arm out to help as you clambered over the rocks and tree roots.
“Almost there,” he said encouragingly, “I think you will like it.”
– – –
After a short hike through the pine forest, the sound of rushing water filled your ears and you emerged into a secluded clearing where a small but beautiful waterfall cascaded into a clear rocky pool.
"It’s amazing," you whispered, captivated by the natural beauty.
Toto smiled, his eyes twinkling. "I thought you might like it. Come, we can get closer.”
Following Toto’s lead, you followed him as he carefully picked his way up the rocks.
“Here we go,” he said, stopping on a large, flat piece of rock and plopping down to sit.
Settling beside him, you were hit with cool mist from the waterfall, the perfect remedy to the heat of the hike.
“This is perfect,” you said, allowing the mist to hit your face.
“Good right?” he said, grinning in a surprisingly goofy manner. He was quite endearing when it came down to it.
Once again you sat side by side in comfortable peace and quiet. Toto was most definitely not like George, who would have been in the waterfall by now. As you sat, you couldn’t help but sneakily study Toto’s chiselled features. You’d never really looked at him closely but he was arguably a handsome man. Tall with broad shoulders, his arms looked like he was a man who hit the gym and knew what he was doing. Coupled with his big brown eyes, a charmingly lopsided grin and ruffled hair, you were suddenly hit with the realisation that you had the hots for your boyfriend’s boss.
“You mentioned last night that you love the great outdoors,” Toto said, turning to you. “What’s been your favourite place so far?”
Caught off guard by the question, and hoping he hadn’t caught you staring, you took a moment to think. “That’s a tough one.” considering his question for a moment, “ I think Iceland was one of my favourites, it’s like nowhere else on Earth.”
“Ah yes, Iceland is beautiful,” Toto agreed. “It’s on my list of places to visit again. So you get out into the wilderness often?”
“I try to,” you replied. “Whenever I can get away from work. I hate being stuck indoors.”
Toto nodded. “It’s important to take that time for yourself. The world is too beautiful to stay in one place.”
You smiled, feeling a connection with Toto at that moment. He seemed to understand your need for escape and adventure, something George didn’t.
“How about you?” you asked. “Do you get much time to travel outside of racing?”
“Not as much as I’d like,” he admitted. “But I make the most of the opportunities when they come. I try to escape whenever I can but it is not always easy.”
“I can imagine,” you said, genuinely impressed. “But it’s good you can sometimes, I wish I could do that more often.”
Toto’s gaze softened as he looked at you. “You should. You’re young, life is short, make the most of it.”
You nodded, feeling the weight of his words. “That’s true, well this trip is making the most of it so far!”
He smiled a warm and genuine smile that made your heart flutter. “I’m glad to hear that, we can get out some more over the coming week.”
As you sat there, the waterfall’s mist continuing to cool your skin, you realized how different Toto was from George. He was quiet, considerate and genuinely interested in talking to you. Not at all the imposing businessman you had thought he would be. You were sure he had that capability too but on a human level, he was nice.
– – –
Having spent a short while continuing to swap stories of your travel adventures and snapping some photos of the waterfall, you and Toto called time on your excursion and made your way back down to the beach. Glancing at your watch you were surprised to see that you’d be gone for almost an hour. Time had flown and you knew George would be wondering where you had been.
Sure enough, when you finally returned to the sand, George’s demeanour had changed. He seemed visibly put out by the time you had spent with Toto and immediately became extra affectionate, pulling you into a tight embrace and snuggling up to you as you joined him back on the blanket.
“How was the waterfall?” he asked, clutching onto you for dear life.
“Beautiful,” you said, “Here, let me show you some photos.”
Before you had the chance to whip out your phone, John once again interjected, asking George about his diary. Typically, George turned his full attention to John, ignoring you save for a tight arm around your waist, almost possessively.
You felt uncomfortable with George’s sudden display of affection but also guilty for enjoying your hike with Toto. With mixed feelings you reluctantly put up with it, lying in George’s arms as he chatted business with John and Toto for the rest of the morning.
FRIDAY EVENING
Despite George’s strange reaction, the day had turned out to be a lovely one, having had a lowkey lunch on the beach before returning to the motor launch to go snorkelling. Clearly wanting to impress you, George had even joined in and begrudgingly admitted that he had had a good time.
As the sun began to set, you couldn’t help but feel conflicted. Although snorkelling had been fun, the hidden waterfall had been the highlight of the day, a brief escape from the turmoil of your relationship woes. Talking with Toto one-on-one, you felt like your own person again and you couldn’t help but have felt a little disappointed that you didn’t get to chat much with him for the rest of the day.
As you lay in bed that night, George’s arm draped over you, your thoughts drifted to Toto and the connection you had felt. The trip was far from over, and you couldn’t help but wonder what the next days would bring.
➷ Night without pillow
╰┈➤ After so much nagging you are finally in Sakura's home. Now what events this beautiful or funny night at his home will take?
────────────────────────────
Sakura was pretty nervous to have you in his home. No wonder it take you so much time to make him take you his home.
You were pretty excited and Sakura almost hated it. He told you there is nothing special about his house, so why are you smiling like some kid in amusement park?
You enter his house and fact word that your mouth was 'small'. Sakura almost hit you but then you added 'cosy' too and now that cutesy word is stuck in his mind.
It was small apartment but you still happily look around while Sakura just gaze at you from main room and soon you joined him too.
"Finished your tour?" Sakura ask in sadistic manner but your next sentence just made him almost exploded due to flusteration.
"Was just looking around at the place I got to live after marriage." Oh boy, I am suprise how he didn't just choke after your blunt reply.
"W-What marriage?"
"Don't you know idiot, people who become couples later married each other too. You are just so innocent Sakura-chan!"
Of course he know that's what couples are supposed to do but many break apart even before reaching twenty. But still his heart flushes at the thought of you being his wife. He would die to experience that part of life.
Soon night arrived and the question he despised the most, came up.
"Do you got some extra pillows?"
"Actually I don't have pillow at all."
Sakura hide his face feeling ashamed. He didn't even have such a basic thing, what else will you expect from him now?
You, on other hands was confused. Did he have any problems taking pillows? You did question him but he simply replied never own one.
"Why you poor child?" You tear up and hug him with your hands continuously patting his hair for comfort.
Sakura was blushing message. He can never come embarrassment he get from your physical affections.
"Don't worry we will spend whole night talking without any sleep and then we wouldn't need pillow anyways!"
Sakura was confused but he let out a brief smile. When it comes to talking no one beats you and now you need to make Sakura feel interested, you will definitely do your best (talking).
You both side against wall, under window as you started to told him about some cat you saw on roadside two days and so on. You didn't even notice but then you heard light snoring.
As expected Sakura had fallen sleep. You quickly take a glance around empty house, pulled his head on your shoulder and then put your cheeks on his soft hair and with this you both fall sleep under the shade of moonlight.
At morning you wake before Sakura. He was still sleeping but now he even had his hands wrapped around you. With tinted cheeks you smile at his gesture.
You was about to pat his head when you realised about if he never owned pillow, he probably never even sleep on one. And for some reason a embarrassing solution also came to your mind that made you almost awkwardly giggled to yourself.
Sakura wake feeling his head being stroked and his face on something. . .soft? He fully grasped the situation he was in and break down with his face red as tomato.
His face was on your chest and for some reason you didn't seem to be mind,"Oh? You wake." You nonchalantly ask,"What the hell?" He yelled as you scold him for being so loud in morning.
He quickly take his head up, questioning you about previous position you was in. He knew you were nonchalant but this was too much!
"You said you never owned pillow . So this means you never sleep on one. So I decided to make you rest on softest pillow around."
You said with the wink as his face remained red. With a quick giggled you again pulled his face against your chest as he almost scream while you just ruffle his hair in amusement.
After that he was afraid to spend night with you alone. . . .and especially if their weren't any pillows around."
────────────────────────────
Yeah guys so I have watched first episode of Wind Breaker and safe to say fall for our mc at first sight. 😌🫶
Like Sakura is literally my type of boy. Can resist a punch but no a kiss?🤭 Definitely.
Okay so at same time I am watching Fruits Basket too and he reminds me of Kyo too!😗
Maybe I will write about him or someone else from series too, I don't know (◔‿◔)
LATE NIGHT DANCING SESSION ft suna rintarou — suna inviting you to dance instead of sleeping late at night
wc: 0.7k ノcw + tw: fem!reader, pet names (baby), suna is a good dancer and you're not lmao, fluff just pure fluff
Tumblr media
suna rintarou is an insufferable man.
sure he has been your boyfriend for a year already, but you are still not used to his stupid antics, always dragging you to stupid and silly scenarios.
tonight is one of those nights, unfortunately. instead of sleeping early for classes tomorrow, suna turned on his bluetooth speaker, blasting loud music.
“rin-” you covered your ears, not wanting your ears to bleed. “could you lower the volume?!” instead of replying, suna only shrugged, vibing to the music. “rin!”
“WHAT?” suna replies loudly. “I CAN’T HEAR YOU!”
you rolled your eyes and walked over to the speaker, immediately pausing the song. “are you crazy? you’re going to wake the neighbors!”
“baby please,” suna huffs. “they’re never going to complain. besides, i’m pretty sure they’re night owls too.”
“and how would you know that?” you asked. “you’ve never even talked to them!”
suna stops in his place. “h-how would you know if i have or never have talked to our neighbours? i’m not as shy as you!”
you scoff. “yeah right. you’re not shy but you certainly dislike talking to people you’ve never met! come on rin, i’ve been with you for more than a year already. don’t act like i don’t know you.”
“seriously you never let me have my fun anymore,” suna pouts fiddling with the speaker. as he is about to turn it off, he pauses, and you can practically see a lightbulb turn on beside his head. “hey, y/n?”
“what…?” you ask, though you have a feeling it’s not going to be good.
“can we dance together?” suna asks, and you immediately shake your head. “what? why?” he practically whines when you start stepping away from him.
“you know how bad of a dancer i am!” you exclaim. “i’m not the best at this.”
“you've stepped on my foot at least ten times, trust me, i know.” suna replies. “come on, dance with me once and we can go to sleep. the earlier we do this the more sleep we can get for tomorrow’s class. we have your least favorite class tomorrow, right?”
you gasp. “oh my god you’re right.” you bit your lip, contemplating whether you should take his offer or not. seeing suna cock his head to the side a little with his hand stretched out in front of him makes you sigh in defeat. “okay fine. but you better lend me your notes tomorrow! i am not going to be taking notes.”
“you have a deal.” suna grabs your hand pulling you closer to him. “what song would you like to dance to?”
“anything that isn’t too long,” you say. suna smiles, and once again, instead of complying with your wishes, he chooses a song that lasts about 5 whole minutes. “suna-!”
“you won’t even notice how long it is, trust me.” suna cuts you off before you can say anything. “just trust me.” he presses play and a slow song starts. suna guides you slowly, making sure you can remember all the steps. “why are you so stiff? loosen up a little.”
“i’m trying,” you huff. “it’s just- it’s weird…”
“what’s weird, hm?” suna asks so softly. “don’t tell me it’s weird dancing with me?”
“no!” you protested, trying to relax your body. “it’s just weird how you’re so good at dancing. i didn't know you knew how to dance.”
“and you say you know me well. there's a lot you don't know about me, then.” suna teases you, to which you pout.
catching you off guard, suna suddenly dips your waist, and you immediately wrap your arms around his shoulder. “oh my god- suna rintarou! what the hell was that?!”
“what? it’s the most classic dance move to ever exist!” suna smiles, keeping your body steady with his arms. “don’t tell me you’ve never dreamed of doing this dance with your sweet and handsome boyfriend before?”
you scoff, rolling your eyes. “as if. i can’t dance, why would i even dream of doing that?”
“aw, you’re breaking my heart, love.” suna pouts slightly, and the song ends just as he says that.
“wha-” your eyes drift over to the speaker as suna lifts you back up. “the song’s over already?”
suna hums. “mhm. you want more?” he gives you a teasing smirk, and you immediately shake your head.
“nope! it’s time for bed, come on we have a long day tomorrow with that boring lecture.” you quickly push suna’s back to your shared bedroom.
suna could only laugh, letting himself get pushed around by you.
Aizawa x reader - newfound secrets
Tumblr media
I've been a sucker for that man. Like reader is a pro hero too, probably in the top ten ranks with some sort of magic like quirk(mage?) And reader just randomly opened a portal while he's in class to drop him lunch or forgotten paperwork or his precious sleeping bag. And 1-A is shocked to find out their teacher has a lover, much less a hero who's a complete opposite of him. Either gf/bf/neutral or married is completely fine! - Anon💜
You were wondering about your apartment doing some cleaning now that you had a few free days from work.
You were slowly making your way from room to room, doing what had to be done in each room, and as you got to the kitchen you paused as you looked at the kitchen table.
With a small laugh, you shook your head slightly and picked up the bright yellow sleeping bag that was on the table.
You had warned Aizawa time and time again if he kept leaving it on the table he’d forget it one day, and true to your word he had.
Holding it under your arm, you activated your quirk, a purple orb appearing in your hand as you tossed it at the wall, opening a small doorway which you walked through and in less than a second you were in his classroom which was bustling with chatter of the students.
“Hey it’s Druid!” One of them shouted excitedly.
Immediately all of the teenagers turned to you with curiosity, some with excitement.
“Hey guys, where’s your teacher?” You asked.
“He’s behind his desk sleeping!” A stern looking blue haired boy called out.
You beam brightly at him, walking over to the desk and looking behind it, and just like the student said, there was Aizawa fast asleep propped up against the wall.
With a gentle sigh, you walk over and crouch down in front of him.
“I wouldn’t wake him up, he gets pretty annoyed when someone wakes him up…” a girl mumbles.
You wave your hand dismissively.
“It’ll be fine.”
Setting the beanbag down, you reach out, gently tapping on his forehead with the back of your knuckles.
“Hey, wake up for a moment…”
Aizawa lazily opens an eye, looking at your tiredly.
“Why’re you here…?” He mumbles.
“Missing something?” You grin, holding up the beanbag.
“Was wondering where I put that…” he mumbled.
Aizawa took the sleeping bag from you, climbing inside of it and laid down again on the ground.
Reaching out, you zipped the sleeping bag up for him, and pat his forehead a few times which earned you a slight huff from him as he closed his eyes again.
“Thought you had work…”
“That’s next week, I’ve got a few days off this week. Seriously Shouta how you actually manage to function is beyond me. Have you eaten?”
“Yes…”
You raise a brow, standing up to look at his class.
“Has Aizawa had lunch?”
“No!” They called out.
From the ground you could hear him grumbling about them being traitors, and one of the girls raised her hand.
“Yes…?”
“My names Mina! Why did you have Mr Aizawa’s sleeping bag?!” She asks almost a little too excited.
With a small laugh you rubbed the back of your head slightly, ignoring Aizawa’s warning glare he sent you.
“Well, that’s because we’re married, and he left it on the kitchen table.”
Immediately the class burst out in shouts of shock, confusion and disbelief that their grumpy, almost emotionless homeroom teacher had actually managed to find somebody to marry him.
Aizawa gave you a slight glare, but you could still see a small bit of softness behind his tired gaze.
Everybody was shouting out questions to you, wanting to know everything and you laughed a little bit, raising your hands to try quiet them down.
“Hey, hey quiet down. You’ll get your answers, but for now I have to go, but I’ll be back soon and then we can talk, promise!”
They all nod excitedly, and as you walk back to your portal you hear Aizawa mumble something out about bringing him some jelly pouches and coffee which makes you roll your eyes.
You closed the portal as you stepped back into the apartment and quickly work on making a simple and easy lunch for Aizawa, putting on a pot of coffee as well.
While you were there, Aizawa had to deal with the unfortunate consequences of you telling his class you two were married, and he zipped his sleeping bag fully up covering his face knowing his students weren’t stupid enough to try and unzip it.
After about 15 minutes, you open another portal and step through, setting a box of food on Aizawa’s desk, along with a cup of coffee, and dropping a few jelly pouches on his sleeping bag.
He let out a grumble, but unzipped his sleeping bag just enough to grab them and put them inside, it was like watching a squirrel hiding its food in a tree.
Sitting on the floor next to his desk, just slightly behind it so you could still keep an eye on your husband, you turned to his class.
“Okay, questions one at a time.”
Immediately they all raised their hands and you picked them out one by one, answering their questions and learning their names along the way.
While you talked with them, you saw Aizawa out the corner of your eye sit up in his sleeping bag, grabbing the coffee and the food from the desk.
He then shuffled over, resting his back on his desk as he ate still half asleep.
Every so often his head would droop, and you’d have to slightly nudge his knee to wake him up.
When he finished half the food, he set the box in your lap, handing you the chopsticks as he focused on drinking his coffee now, watching your carefully.
“Eat…” he mumbled quietly, just loud enough for you to hear.
With a small smile, you start eating while still talking to his class while he kept a watching eye on you, rummaging through through your pocket, pulling out whatever you had in there.
His class seemed very invested in their teachers love life and carried on spilling out questions, and you knew for a fact Aizawa wasn’t going to be living this down any time soon
pairing: benedict bridgerton x ofc
summary: loraine silva always knew she was not normal. she loves unusual things. she loves her father's guns, horses, boxing, climbing a tree, falling from a tree, engineering, astronomy... oh, and a man eleven years older.
series masterlist
Tumblr media
xii. twelve: let it go
benedict bridgerton has not left his room for days now. he laid down with his agony, curled on his sheets. his pillow wet in the tears that served as witness of this torment.
most people grieve for those who don't know what they have until it is gone. but, what about those who do know? those who tried their hardest to hold on, yet could only look on helplessly while they lost the thing they loved the most. isn't it so much worse for them?
how many sleepless nights now, he does not know. when they were together, he avoided sleep so he could have more time with her. and now that she is gone, he wishes to sleep more so he might know fewer hours of her absence, and perhaps, spend longer in dreams with her.
it took him days to even talk, forgetting his own voice as he got so familiar with his cries. he wanted to be happy but found it painfully hard as her love was his happiness.
yet, what if love is not here to make us happy? perhaps, it exists to show us how much we can endure.
but benedict did not want to endure anymore.
for the first time in a long while, he was terrified. oh, how terrifying to face the future without the one you planned it with. how can you wake up from a nightmare if you are not asleep?
someone knocked on his door, one that he has recognised as anthony's knuckles by the firmness of the sound. he did not want to stay on his bed forever, so he desperately pushed himself out, trying to see what has been of the others. he neared to open the door slightly ajar before sitting down on a couch defeatedly, his brother surprised by the turning of the knob.
he stepped in, noting the desolateness of the room. he wanted to be there for him, but losing a loved one you were never able to fully love was a different kind of pain—one that anthony was not familiar with at all.
so, he did the only task he was left with. he walked to him, giving the pad he has been holding unto to his younger brother.
"her journal," he maintained his voice in a serene one, seemingly afraid that anything higher would trigger something from the other.
benedict turned to him at that with shock. he did not know she writes. he often thought the girl preferred saying her thought out loud than put it to paper. he opened it, reading from entry to entry, word by word.
a small snicker left his lips when the most he could read about was how the young little silva had fun infuriating him. it was clear on her handwriting—the curve of the letters, the stretch of its end. she was full of excitement when she was writing this. it was written in her point of view. he turned the twelfth page over, only to find that no entry follows anymore.
"why did she stopped writing when she was eight?" he turned to the older, eyes still with traces of redness. it was around the time armand had snitched his daughter to benedict, saying that the girl likes him.
"she said there was no longer a need to write what she felt because she can say it to you directly." anthony offered him a small smile, leaning down to turn the pages to the last, "she wrote on the day she left for the parliament."
the viscount watched as his brother traced each word with his fingers, afraid that it would be lost before he even realises it. noticeably, this one is written in the way her words talked to him directly. anthony placed a hand on his shoulder before stepping back again.
"i guess she knew she could no longer say it to you again."
my artsy,
i think i have loved you since i met you. i just mistook it for curiosity.
there are so many forms of love, and although it may have begun unromantically, i knew you were someone special to me. i would like to apologize—for coming into your life just to break your heart to pieces and leave you in the night.
i really would have loved to be able to attend the astronomical convention with you. we spent a night talking about it. if i knew i will not even get to go, i would have rathered spent the time with my lips in yours.
and so, if regrettably, the gods had it planned that this life of mine will never be enough to show you all my love, i promise—i will find you in another. and hopefully then, i still wouldn't run out of love and continue to pester you on to the next, and next, and for eternity.
because my love, we were never a match made in heaven. i am afraid afraid we are made in both far ends of the farthest cosmos.
and i will search every star, every galaxy, every universe, and every timeline until i find you.
know that i love you, down to my last word.
until we meet again,
forever your loraine
he pushed the pad farther from his eyes, afraid that the ink would smudge and her words can no longer be read. he held his head down, anthony going to his side at once and offered an arm at him.
benedict leaned weakly to him. he had told her before, and now it became his reality. the young lady was a fire—his fire—and he does not find himself worrying even if she will burn him. despite her absence, she still set him ablazed. he longs for nothing but her. how many life does he have to burn before he lives with her? and he could almost hear a whisper.
a hundred more. just a hundred more.
and he almsot felt relieved at that. a hundred more would be nothing. he was even prepared to burn thousands. that was how bewitched he was.
she was lovely—extremely, completely, entirely.
yet, even if it is full of love, all a ghost can do is haunt.
━━━ ✦ ❘ ☽ 【❖】 ☾ ❘ ✦ ━━━
the following day, lady bridgerton could not hold it anymore. her son was spiralling away. she missed him. so, she ascended their stairs, aiming for the room of the said son.
anthony has told her that he was, at the very least, responsive. she did not want her son to be reduced as someone thankfully responsive. benedict has always been full of colors.
he was an art himself.
she knocked, turning the knob and was surprised it was not locked. violet entered slowly, seeing the figure behind a canvas.
she called out to him, "my son, come with us."
there was no response, continuing to walk towards the man. entering the room fully, she could see random sketches of the young silva.
picking up a paper, his mother commented, "she was beautiful."
violet could hear a small hum from her son, still not tearing his gaze away from the art he is currently working on, "she will forever be."
she warmly smiled at that. the son who has repeatedly told her before that what she and edmund had was rare, now utterly taken beyond mortal relations.
she placed an arm around his shoulders for comfort as she took a look at the painting, "you love her so much."
he added a detail on her features, "if i could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint."
her heart broke for his son she almost felt like it was her fault. maybe, that was why the two met each other and loved each other when they were still too young. they were not meant to grow older together.
she placed a peck on top of his head, "will you come out with us soon?"
benedict placed down his brush, exhaling defeatedly. nonetheless, he turned to his mother with a weak smile, "after i finish this."
violet nodded at that before giving him back his solitude. it took quite the days before he completed the artwork. the sun rose and set, yet the stars only dimmed.
on the night he finally finished the painting, the dead of night was clear and the stars began to find their shine once again. a hopeful thought graced his mind.
perhaps, someday, somewhere, at a less miserable time, they will see each other again.
he turned to his table, scrambling to get a paper and pen. he will not let the night go on as if it was just any other night. this darkness shined a light, one he only recognised when the girl was present. and maybe, you can call it a pathetic attempt of hope, it was the young silva watching him as his hand gripped the pen.
my loraine,
i will remember you longer than i knew you, and i will never come to terms with that.
thus, i will find you when you return, even if you are a thousand years late.
give me your permission and i will continue to love you in another. believe that i will run amock across the universe until i find you.
and so, when you see the world ending in the newspapers, trust that it is my work because i still have not met you again.
let us make us happen, some other time.
until we meet again,
forever your artsy
perhaps, they were right in putting love into books and poems—perhaps, it could not live anywhere else. they did say that everything will be fine in the end. and if it isn't, then it is not the end yet.
he has learned that grief is not accepting that she died. it is acknowledging that she is still alive in everything that he does.
and so he hopes—he hopes that all this grief stays with him because it is all the unexpressed love that he did not get to tell her. he will never let this go.
indeed, what is grief if not love persevering.
the pain will remind them of each other. when they meet later, if there is a later, they will recognise each other by it.
and just because this life is painful, it does not mean the next one will be.
Bellatrix Lestrange having a daughter around Tonks/Charlie’s age who is like a younger, more unhinged but still somewhat replicated version of her this is very, very inspired by Jenifer Check, I love her sm so when you think of Lestrange!Daught it’s pretty much Chrck lmao which she thought she’d absolutely love except her kid won’t do anything she asks for her and absolutely will not serve the Dark Lord cause she worships the ground the Reader walks on, whatever they want and whenever they want it, she’ll do anything for them
Narcissa can’t help cause she doesn’t have a daughter for plots sake we’ll say Cygnus raised her alone meaning the kid had mad freedom, old man just wanted to chill after losing 2 of 3 daughters over politics so Bellatrix goes to Andromeda
and for a solid five minutes all Andromeda can do is laugh because her older sister is coming to her for vague parenting advise
inevitably Andromeda connects the dots and then starts laughing again pointing out the hilarious parallel about Bellatrix being obsessed with Voldemort and now her daughter being obsessed with her own morally questionable criminal or better yet the Reader isn’t a criminal but gets up to sketchy shit sometimes and doesn’t understand why this pretty, violent girl is following them around but goes with it anyways
worst part is that after Rodolphus and Rabastan died which I assume they did in Azkaban then Lestrange!Daughter would’ve inherited the vault, cutting off the death eaters funding and access to the Hufflepuff’s Cup hidden inside, because she’s not gonna betray her darling for some nose-less fuck
Are we talking like an OC?? Cause I actually really love that idea. Especially, regarding Harry’s twin!Reader or something like that, just the parallels between the two only Belatrix’s daughter is on the literal complete opposite side. But in the circumstances it would be Harry and twin!Reader with this older girl staliking following them around, especially outside of Hogwarts. Like, she just hangs out outside of 4 Privet Drive just watching, even breaking in and just wanting to be close to the Reader. You can bet Bellatrix’s daughter would give the Dursley’s a piece of her mind. Or maybe even just take Harry and the Reader to live with her.
I just imagine the Reader waking up in a completely new place all by themself with this older girl hovering over them. And the Reader being kind of okay with it since they’re away from the Dursley’s but they ask their captor/“savior” to go back and get their brother too.
The Lestrange house/manor/estate would probably become the new Order of the Phoenix headqaurters, mainly because Bellatrix’s daughter won’t part with the Reader so they can’t go with Harry to live with Sirius so Sirius moves in to keep an eye on everything. And his reaction to his batshit crazy cousin’s batshit child being obsessed with one of his godchildren would really be something. Like, FUCK NO!?!?!
Like, I could imagine Bellatrix’s daughter having been obsessed with the Potter twins since it came out that they were able to survive and best Voldemort even when being just mere babes. And just her like revolving her world around getting to meet them or something. Maybe when Bellatrix’s daughter was younger but still older than Harry and the Reader she ended up wandering to 4 Privet Drive or having her house elf take her to meet them or something and she did, even if it was for a few minutes.
When it comes to the idea of Bellatrix’s daughter being obsessed with a criminal or a bad witch/wizard, I could just imagine Potter!Twin!Reader having nicked something small or lied about something insignificant and from then on Bellatrix’s daughter was like “That’s the one for me”.
Also, just the idea of Bellatrix’s daughter having stalked Harry and his Twin!Reader for most of their life. Like, I could see them getting Cygnus or their house elf to take them to 4 Privet Drive and she would just watch the whole place like a hawk. Never taking her eyes off of it and getting excited at the smallest bit of movement or liveliness at the home. Or even having the house elf sneak her into Harry and the Reader’s school to pass herself off as one of the students and getting to befriend the Reader even just for a brief time. But afterwards, Bellatrix’s daughter would use that as her excuse to interact with the Dursley’s. She’d happily knock on their door asking the Reader to play with her, that she was their friend from school as to not draw any suspicion. Hell, Bellatrix’s daughter would go as far as getting one of the houses on Privet Drive just to stay close and ending up living there the rest of the time the twins are across the street/down the road.
Twinkling Watermelon (pt.2)
summary: you fell in love with beomgyu first, but he fell harder.
warning: cursing
taglist: @eclipse-777 (lmk if you want to be tagged!)
im actually happy writing this JIHSUIYGSIHI but hope u enjoy!1!!!
if you havent read part 1, look at my page!
Tumblr media
beomgyu was holding you, and running, rushing to the hospital. beomgyu was actually worried because a guy has to take care of a girl, right?
and this is how it started. Beomgyu at the time beomgyu now has a crush on you. Blushing hard. As soon as he went to the hospital, he shouted.
"nurse! help! this girl collapsed! help!"
the nurse ran up to beomgyu, to take care of you, so they put you into a rolling hospital bed, and took you into a room.
🪢
an hour later, you still haven't woken up. the nurses talking to beomgyu, saying something.
"mr. choi, for this, you have to sign a paper for y/n," as she passes out the paper to beomgyu.
"oh yeah, ofc, nurse!"
well, beomgyu didnt know what to do. he just thought of 'its just letters all over the paper' in his mind. all he did was just put his signature in the paper.
"thank you!" beomgyu told to the nurse.
so he ran, to check on you, so he went to the room your in, and checked to see if your okay. as he was checking, you woke up. you saw yourself lying down in a rolling hospital bed, looking around, and before you realized you were even in a hospital, you saw beomgyu. you were shocked. you asked yourself in your mind, 'did he take you to the hospita-'
"y/n? are you okay? im so glad you woke up!" he was relieved, he was waiting for 1 hour, and 15 minutes for you to wake up.
huh? you didnt know what was happening, and you finally realized, you were in a hospital.
"beom-beomgyu? what are you doing here?" you said, clueless.
"you dont need to know about that, y/n, are you really okay? you got me worried."
"yeah, im okay, i think im gonna go now" you got out of your bed and went outside, going to your home.
"wait nono, y/n! are you hungry? i can take you to a restaurant and ill pay you!"
wait, what? hes really paying me? we arent even close, or not even friends, but this? Nah, no way.
"no, im not hungry, now leave me alone. my mom will be angry at me." then, your stomach rumbles.
"ehehehhheh!! what do you mean? your hungry! hahahah!!" you realized, so you covered your stomach with your arms and you walked away. and, beomgyu was infront of you again.
"nonononono y/n, im sorry! ill actually pay you! which restaurant do you wanna go? anywhere, y/n! i dont care if its expensive, ill pay you!" he begged, with his puppy eyes, watering.
"fine. lets go to the restaurant there."
so you both went to the restaurant you wanted to go, and he was actually serious. he did pay you. after he paid, you and beomgyu went to the table, waiting for the food. and maybe after twenty minutes. the foods finally here. you both were eating peacefully, and you looked at beomgyu, eating, and damn, he looked so pretty. you were admiring him. beomgyu realized, and as soon as he realized, you went back to eating your food. Beomgyu was blushing, crazy, like, actually crazy. he was blushing so hard, that his legs are swinging and kicking. so he went back to his food, and he was about to tell you something.
"y/n, do you like your food?" he wondered.
"yeah, i do, do you?" you wondered back.
"ofc i do! why? did you think that my food was bad?"
"what? no! im also just wondering" you told to beomgyu.
and you both went back to eating your food.
🪢
you both were walking to your guys home, and around 8pm, and you normally was supposed to be home at 5pm, but you didnt care at all. you didnt want to ruin the moment.
"hey, y/n, since we are going home, ill give you my number. so, if you need any help, contact me. ill be here for you. or, if you cant, please think about me!" while he said that, he showed you his number.
your heart felt like it was about to burst. you were blushing, and beomgyu was too. so you smiled.
"your smiling.." beomgyu looked at you, as he said quietly.
"what did you say?" you asked.
"what, y/n?"
"oh, nevermind."
"well, y/n, please walk home safe! ill see you tomorrow!!" he ran. "tornado!"
you look at him, running. then, you walked home. while you walked home, you were thinking about the scene that happened with you and beomgyu. you were happy. you never been so happy before in your life.
part 3 will be released maybe tomorrow!!! this is okay i was actually blushing while doing this because i was imagining the whole scene lol
hope you enjoyed, ffolks!
Hello, Dreams of an Insomniac Tumblr. I felt the urge to write DoaI fic and the Sitcom AU is my opportunity. Two things that I’m unsure on because I’m VERY new to the DoaI Tumblr community:
- I don’t know everyone’s pronouns for sure. I know Alex has been confirmed they/them, I’ve predominantly heard it/its for Clyde, and for Winfrey I’ve heard both they/them and he/him, but went with just they/them to be safe.
- I don’t know the full details yet of Clyde and Winfrey’s dynamic, so that’s why I kept it a bit more ambiguous.
If there's anything I got wrong or any details you want me to know please let me know because I'd like to try to engage with this community because y'all seem like great people
Anyway enjoy this short story
Alex opened the door slowly, making sure that their new roommate wasn’t in view. It wasn’t. They quickly ducked inside and locked the door, then leaned against the wall and heaved a sigh. They were still exhausted from the events of a few nights ago, when they had found Room 66. They still needed to record that tape, and finish that plan to break the woman they had interviewed out. They still didn’t understand. Why weren’t they in trouble? Surely they would face some consequences for their actions. Surely they weren’t going to get away with what they’d done.
They raised their head slightly as they finally registered some noise in the living room. They walked in to see Clyde lying on the couch, watching something on the television. They sighed. At least it was safe. “Hey, Clyde,” they said as they walked in.
Clyde lifted its head and wagged its tail a bit as Alex sat down next to it. “Hello.”
“Did you just wake up?”
“Not just.”
“What are you watching?”
“I don’t know. I just turned it on and let it play. I like the noise.”
Alex quickly checked the curtains. Closed. Good. Clyde’s secrecy and safety was the most important thing. “If you don’t mind, can we turn it off? I need some quiet.”
“Oh. Okay.” Clyde slinked toward the TV and turned it off, then resumed its lounging position on the couch. It noticed Alex’s tired expression. “Are you okay?” it asked.
“I just need a bit.” Alex closed their eyes for a second, trying to get the image of that giant Veldigun in Room 66 out of their head. “Sorry. I’m just… still worn out from the other night.”
“Want to talk about it?” Clyde tilted its head slightly. “What did you see?”
Alex was silent for a minute. They’d done their best to not think about it or talk about it too much until they were able to fully process it. Finally, they nodded. “I’ll show you the tapes in a bit, if you want, but as for what I saw… ugh.”
Clyde shuffled around, going from a relaxed, lounging posture to an attentive and serious one. There was clear concern on its face. “There were bad things in there. Right?”
“Yeah. Lankmann himself, and of course the Veldigun he’s keeping there…”
That got Clyde’s interest. It leaned forward. “Veldigun? Like me?”
“Your kind, yeah.”
“Who?”
Alex pursed their lips. “I didn’t get a name. They were really tall, probably around 12 or 13 feet standing up… muscular, bulky… They had two really thick horns on the side of their head, as well. Really curly ones.”
“Blue?”
Alex paused a bit. How did it guess... “Yeah. They were blue.”
Clyde sat back, pulled its knees into its torso, and wrapped its tail around itself. Alex heard it make a sound it never had before. It whined. The noise was almost like a dog whimpering. “Are you okay?” said Alex, scooting a bit closer.
Clyde was silent for another few moments before it finally spoke. “Winfrey…”
It was Alex’s turn to sit back and pull their knees up to their chest. Clyde had never said that name before. “Winfrey?” Alex repeated. “Is that their name?”
“Yes,” said Clyde.
“You know them?”
“Yes.”
“Are they a friend of yours?”
Clyde kept silent.
“A partner?”
Clyde didn’t answer.
“Family?”
Clyde closed its eyes. “That Foundation… has Winfrey?”
“They appear to.”
“Can we save them?”
Alex stared long and hard at Clyde. They had never seen the Veldigun look so… vulnerable. So afraid. Winfrey was obviously very important to it. It clearly didn’t want to see them hurt.
“Give me some time to think up a plan. I need to break someone else out of there first. Then we can try to get Winfrey out. Ok?”
Clyde was silent for a long time, then nodded. “Ok…”
Alex nodded and stood up. “I’m going to go take a shower, and then we can talk more. That ok?”
Clyde gave them a short nod, remaining in their curled-up position. Alex walked quickly to the bathroom. They felt horrible now, knowing that Winfrey was Clyde’s… friend? Family member? Partner? They didn’t know. All that mattered was getting the woman who had helped them out of the asylum, and maybe, if they could, letting Winfrey know that Clyde was safe…
Paint Away, My Little Dove - Chapter 9
A/N: I know, I know its been a little while. This was supposed to a longer chapter but I did not want to keep you guys + myself waiting any longer, which is why I decided to release this (even if it is super short <33) word count: 1.7k tags: arthur morgan x fem!reader, super angsty, death, mentions of blood, canon-typical violence dividers by: @strangergraphics-archive pictures are from pinterest
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Arrivals at the cabin, especially at night, were usually greeted with the huffing and puffing of Buell, who tends to get alarmed by the tiniest noises. This was the first sign that you should have just turned around. The air was crisp, the darkness along with it adding onto its demeanor. The only thing that was louder than your mumblings were the crickets chirping at the tips of the grass. It was not like you wanted to wake poor Hamish with your talking in the middle of the night anyway.
“That’s weird.”
“What?” Arthur asked, sensing your uneasiness.
Pausing for a second, you sat up on your wagon, pulling on the reins to get your horses to stop. “Buell’s supposed to go crazy.”
“He’s probably asleep.” Arthur shrugged, getting off from his own horse.
Arthur’s behavior only caused you more worry, even if it was supposed to give off the opposite effect. You knew this place better than anyone. All those returns from your travels taught you that no matter how quiet you were, Buell would always notice you and that his noises would wake Hamish which would mean that you would get into trouble. ‘Whatcha doin’ back here at this time, girl? Could’ve waited ‘til the mornin’ at least’, he’d yell.
After getting off from your wagon, you walked towards the cabin, precautious while doing light strides and avoiding possible branches you could step on.
As you passed Arthur, he placed a hand on your lower back, guiding your steps as you approached the left side of the building, wanting to check on the unusual behavior of Hamish’s horse.
Upon seeing him, the blood in your veins ran cold. Buell was laying on his side, practically swimming in his own blood from the wounds around his midsection.
Before a scream could escape your throat, Arthur had covered your mouth with his hand, cupping it tightly from behind you, looking around frantically to see if anyone was still around. He did not give you enough time to analyze the damage. There was no telling in the dark anyway whether the horse was stabbed or shot. His chest was pressed tightly to your back, pulling you closer to him with his other hand around your waist. The stiff hold onto you kept you from trashing around, which could have caused more unwanted noise. If there was anything that Arthur knew from all the messy things he had been involved in, it was that being quiet always gave one a chance to get away before people noticed.
Without letting you think about what the inside of the cabin looked like, Arthur pulled you back towards your horses and wagon on the main road. “We gotta get away, dove. Don’t know how long ago this was, alright?” Arthur whispered, trying to comfort you as much as he could while still focusing on the objective of getting you two the hell out of the area.
“B-but Hamish-“
“I know, but- I- we gotta go, alright?” Arthur gritted through his teeth, continuing to pull you further and further away from the place you once called home.
Maybe minutes passed, maybe hours. Both of you were on the road again, confused as ever. Your haven was no more, yet Arthur could not bring you to camp unannounced, especially after everything that the gang was put through. Rightfully, they were not mentally in the state of accepting a new member to feed and worry about.
You lost count of the silent tears that had fallen to your lap. Your head was slumped onto Arthur’s shoulder, your eyes fixed onto the muddy ground as the horses pulled the wagon the two of you were sitting on.
…………………………………………………
“Where are we?” You questioned, being awoken from the warm sunlight beaming onto your skin and the soft mumblings of Arthurs telling you to wake up. The place seemed not only familiar, yet you were sure you had passed this before. The singing of the birds belonged to the northern Heartlands; Valentine to be more specific. The house in your sight was colorful, surrounded by the smell of the various flowers planted around on its welcoming front porch.
“The only place I currently feel safe leavin’ ya at.” Arthur remarked, lighting a cigarette as he waited for you to hop down from the seat that had basically numbed your glutes from the non-stop sitting.
No matter how much he was trying to refuse to let you see about his state, he was not able to keep those emotions from you. You knew this man by now. He was worried and unsure, contradicting his usual solid stance. Not only was he now unsure about his future, but also about his present. The cigarettes which used to be smoked only for the sake of relaxation seemed now to be smoked whenever stress made its presence known. Knowing about how he felt about himself was one thing; but witnessing even the slightest bit of self-destructive behavior on Arthur’s behalf hurt you.
Guiding you by the shoulder, Arthur led you to the front door of the big house, delivering a knock to it after giving you a saddened smile.
It did not take too long for it to open. The woman in front of you was a beautiful brunette, the hair in a loose bun, with an enduring beauty mark on the skin of her face.
“Arthur.” She welcomed him, looking back and forth between the two of you, puzzled by not only his presence, but also by yours.
“Remember when I said ya owned me?” Arthur said, looking over his shoulder, still not sure whether you were being followed or not. “She needs a place to stay. Just ‘til I figure out what to do. Please, Mary. I can’t leave her to her own right now.” His voice mirrored his desperation as he begged. If she refused to help him, he had to take you to camp. There was no other way for him to keep you safe, especially because he did not want you without another set of eyes.
“I- sure, of course.” Mary accepted, moving her body to the side, and ushering you and Arthur into the house. Once both of you were indoors, she closed and locked the door, gesturing with her hand to offer you both a seat on the couch. “I’m alone in the house right now. But we gotta head up to my rented room once the owners come back, alright?” She mentioned, facing you as you sat down on the dark green cushions. Sitting across from you, Mary struggled to hide the sympathy she had for you.
How could she not? You were a sorry sight. Your body was a clean reflection of the turmoil you were going through. With bloodshot and puffy eyes, it was no mystery as to what caused them to be like that.
Even if Mary did not know what the situation was, she knew it was bad. Arthur would not have come to her otherwise. Their own relationship was in the past, whether they both wanted to accept it or not. If it was not urgent, why bother?
No matter how odd the scene was, it had a reassuring fragrance to it. Being in the same room with a lover from the past and with a lover from the present was certainly not anything that Arthur expected, but it showed him that even without his camp, he had love to lean on to. What he had failed to realize in former times was that it was okay to do so. The world was a cruel and unforgiving place. Yet it would always be the people you surround yourself with that could make you survive it.
After giving Mary a brief summary about the circumstances, Arthur left to join back his camp, wanting to not raise any more suspicion or worry as to where he was. There were only so many lies and distractions Charles could come up with to allow Arthur the amount of time he had spent with you now. This had been the longest he was away from camp.
You did not even grasp how, yet you somehow ended up in a bathtub, getting your hair washed by Mary. The contrast of the warm water surrounding your body and the cold material of the stained tub relaxed your body, allowing your head to lean back into the massage that Mary was giving your scalp.
“Poor thing…” She whispered, bending her fingers to use her nails to get out small bits of dirt from the strands of your hair. “Sweet girl, there’s so much more to you, ain’t there? What happened to you?”
“What hasn’t?” You chuckled, attempting to lighten up the mood even with all the hurt and pain you were feeling. It felt like all the tears that you were able to cry had already left. You were now in the weird state of being rational right after a breakdown. This was as clear as the human mind could get. Hamish had given you a second chance at life. He was the one that taught you not to linger too long on thing you cannot control or change. If there was a way to honor him, it was by keeping your head up high.
Mary smiled at your response, letting out a breath through her nose as she did so. “I couldn’t help but take a little look at your wagon outside.” She told you, using the small cup to fill it with water and to gently pour it over your hair, careful to not let too much of it touch your face. “Those are beautiful paintings.”
Tilting your head back, you closed your eyes at the sensation, letting out a small moan unwillingly. “Thank you.” You replied, pulling your knees to your chest.
“I have to ask you for a favor.”
You hummed in response, waiting for Mary to continue.
“You take good care of him, will you?”
“I will.”
SpringDay: He didn’t leave a note
Wonu15: Was he supposed to?
SpringDay: No, but…idk
Wonu15: Then why are you upset if that wasn’t in your agreement
SpringDay: IDK!!!!!! Because we talked about things? At least, a little bit? And he saw me cry and he held me.
Wonu15: But did you ask him to stay the night? Did you ask him to leave you a note?
SpringDay: No
Wonu15: Well
SpringDay: I know!!!! I get it!!!
Wonu15: Maybe you should tell him
Wonu15: That you’re in love with him
SpringDay: Fuck you
“Ugh!” You exit your chat app and toss your phone across the covers as you roll over in your bed, inhaling the pillow that now smells of Seokjin.
He was here. Last night. He held you in his lap on your bed. He moved your furniture around for you. He stayed until you fell asleep. And even after that for a bit longer. You’d felt a chill, possibly as he left the bed, and it was enough to wake you.
It was still dark, but the sun was creeping in slowly. Enough that you could see his slightly mussed hair sticking up in the back, a yawn escaping him with a sigh as he idled in the doorway, almost like he was hesitating before he left.
If you didn’t know any better, you would think you dreamed it all up, but as soon as you heard the door click shut behind him, you found yourself curling around that warm spot in your sheets and falling back asleep.
And that’s where you’ve been for most of the day, savoring the feeling of him in your bed or standing in the kitchen slightly hungover as you finished off the rest of last night’s pizza. You’ve apologized to your followers for skipping last night’s stream, promising that you’ll make up for it tonight.
Your stomach clenches a bit at the idea of an encore performance from the last time you were live. Maybe Seokjin could come over and hang around while you get started? At least for a little bit?
He probably has better things to do than hang around your place.
True. You had monopolized so much of his time last night, and it didn’t even amount to an actual stream. It’s selfish to assume he has nothing better to do than to sit around and monitor you to make sure you don’t succumb to peer pressure.
You need to be an adult and do this on your own.
With a sigh, you hoist yourself up out of bed and over to your computer. Everything you went over yesterday feels like a blur. At this point, you’re not entirely sure what you’re supposed to do. You remember he mentioned something about utilizing wishlists as a monetary solution to some of the more unhinged followers.
If they have money to spend, let them spend it. But don’t compromise your morals to do so.
Is that something he encounters often? It has to be. You wonder what streaming was like for Seokjin at first, all the ways he compromised himself for his followers. Is the dominant persona he exudes even authentic? What if he’s more submissive or even plain vanilla and just doing all this for the money?
You can’t say you’d blame him. That last stream had you feeling as though you were sitting on the blade of a knife as you debated what the extra cut of money could bring you. Your heartbeat pounds more heavily in your chest, a few beats feeling like they’re piercing into your throat.
It feels awful to know the way money has made you so powerless. And now here you are, about to force yourself onto a stream for some extra bucks in this month’s payout.
How does Seokjin do it, really? You don’t want to pressure him into talking about it. Not when you two aren’t intimate like that. But you can’t help but wonder why and how streaming, much less streaming sex, doesn’t tear him apart each time.
You wish you could ask him.
Your reminder on your phone alerts you and you groan, forcing yourself away from the desktop and into the bathroom to shower. In your hamper, you spot Seokjin’s pink button down that he’d lent you last night.
It felt like a piece of armor then, shrouding you from the chill of anxiety. Even now, as you lift it up to your nose, that comforting and fresh smell of his detergent begins to settle the sourness of your gut.
Maybe you could do this alone, after all. Just, with a little encouragement from a friend.
Tumblr media
“You’re a fucking idiot,” someone said.
“I am not!” Another voice. A deeper one.
“You asked her if she wanted to fuck!”
“I did not! I asked if she wanted to come over and eat ramyeon! That’s all that it means!”
“No, no hyung, he’s right. That’s not at all what it means.”
Words. Seokjin was hearing them flurry around him, picking up the tail end of whatever story Namjoon was telling the group. But he wasn’t really listening. He was too tired. He had napped for about an hour in his office earlier, though it was unintentional. He was sitting at his desk, placing a produce order when he felt one of his eyelids shut. Then the other. The next thing he knew, someone was banging on the door saying the register was jammed and they needed the key.
He had left your apartment late. Right when the sun was beginning to rise. And he probably wouldn’t have even left then if it wasn’t for the fact that you finally had rolled off of him after about an hour of you sleeping heavily on his chest.
You talk in your sleep, he learned. Not a lot, but in little murmurs, usually yes or no spilling out of your mouth with ease. He was grateful for them, because otherwise he would have fallen asleep with your body slotted against him perfectly, the weight of your head and arm on him just enough to tumble him into a state of safety.
Both too late and too soon, you moved, rolled onto your other side. And then Seokjin left.
He debated leaving a note so you would know he wasn’t bailing, going so far as to find a pen and notepad from the kitchen fridge to write on, but then he knocked sense into himself. Notes were for people who left after hookups when unsure whether or not they were welcome to stay the whole night. You’d invited him over, sure, but as friends. You would have of course expected him to leave after you fell asleep, as that was the agreement. Right?
Seokjin had danced around your living room for ten minutes, pacing back and forth, looking like a crazy detective searching for clues. What would he even say in it? If he left one would you think that he’d expected you guys to have sex?
So he didn’t, he tossed the notepad on the side table as he grabbed his things, aware now that his button down had gone missing since you changed into your pajamas, but he didn’t have time to look for it, and didn’t want to further snoop through your stuff to reclaim it.
By the time he left, the sun was up, and he had just enough time to rush the few blocks to work. Besides that nap, he hadn’t slept at all last night.
And now he was on Jungkook and Taehyung’s couch, a beer magically in his hand that he didn’t remember getting while his friends apparently talked about…ramyeon?
“–clearly your fault you choose to pretend you’re so old and stay out of touch. Seokjin-hyung knows what that means, don’t you hyung?”
Who was talking to him? He grunted, hoping whoever it was would let that be enough of an answer.
“Hyung?” Jungkook. That’s who was talking to him.
Seokjin blinked. His contacts felt like sandpaper in his eyes.
“Don’t bother with him. He hasn’t had a single sip of that beer since he got here and has been zoned out staring at that wall for about thirty minutes,” Yoongi said, moving from Seokjin’s periphery into full view.
“Are you okay?” Namjoon asked gently, clearly concerned but also possibly using this moment to help redirect whatever teasing he was facing.
“Just tired,” Seokjin responded.
“Oh yeah, you had to work today. And you were at Y/N’s to help her with her stream last night, right? How did that go by the way?” Jimin asked.
“What stream?” Seokjin asked, confused. And then he remembered. That was the whole point he had gone over there in the first place.
“Um, you know, the one that you went to her place for?” Jimin’s eyebrows knit together. The rest of the group craned their heads in Seokjin’s direction, curious.
“She, um, she didn’t end up streaming.”
“Then, what time did you leave?” A broken, awkward silence fell over his friends as Seokjin shifted in his seat.
It suddenly felt oppressively warm in here, and heat creeped up his neck as he tried to string words together.
“I think like…7?”
“So you got there, only to turn around and leave? So why didn’t you sleep last night? You look like shit,” Taehyung added unhelpfully.
Yoongi rolled his eyes and let out an exasperated sigh. “Is everyone really this clueless today or are you all fucking with me?”
He pushed himself up from the beat-up leather armchair, his usual space during their hangouts and sauntered over to the small bar Taehyung and Jungkook had right off the dining area. He took his time, uncapping the bottle of whiskey Seokjin presumed they kept mostly for Yoongi’s benefit, and filled one of the highball glasses left out for him.
Once Yoongi started drinking whiskey, everyone knew to prepare themselves for an evening of his contemplative and sometimes unfiltered ranting. This was when his self-proclaimed ADHD seemed to shine best.
“Honestly, you guys still don’t see it do you.”
“See what exactly?” Seokjin asked, finally awake enough to formulate sentences.
Yoongi studied his glass for a moment and in a final decision plucked the entire bottle from the bar and brought it back to his group of friends. He groaned as he sat back in the chair, like it was painful to do so on his bones, like he was the age of Seokjin's father and not merely thirty.
Yoongi knocked back his first glass of the whiskey, smacking his lips afterward.
In the corner of his eye, Seokjin saw Jimin roll his in annoyance.
“Can we get to the point?” He asked.
Yoongi shot him a look, and then placed the glass down on the coffee table.
“First of all, Taehyung-ah, he didn’t leave early. Hyung here left late. As in this morning. He was obviously out all night.”
Namjoon snorted. “Hyung, this isn’t a detective drama. We all kind of figured.”
“I didn’t,” Taehyung objected.
“We know,” Namjoon chuckled and turned his attention back to Yoongi. “Ok, oh wise one, what is it that we all seem to be missing?”
Yoongi pouted, but he recovered his dramatic flair. It was something everyone knew to give him the space to perform, the odd pause in his quiet nature usually a sign that he needed attention and didn’t know how to ask.
“Well, when you put it that way, maybe I won’t say.” A slight smirk cracked through Yoongi’s façade.
“Did you guys sleep together or something?” Hoseok blurted, which had an immediate rush of blood to Seokjin’s head as he flooded with embarrassment.
“No! God, no we didn’t!” He didn’t want to mention that yes, technically you slept with him, just not in that way.
“Pfft, relax. Of course he didn’t. You think this guy will be looking all mopey after he finally gets laid again? No, he’s going to have that stupid dopey grin he always had with…you know,” Yoongi recovered the attention of the room, Soon Yi’s name unsaid but stirring a bit of unease among his friends. Yoongi and her had been particularly close during the period of Seokjin and her dating, having been his roommate for quite some time. He’d learned to weave his life around Soon Yi’s presence, over time warming up to her during the days he returned from class to find her studying on Seokjin’s bed and waiting for him to come home. Since the breakup, he’s always refused to say her name.
“Ah, the dopey grin, I almost forgot about that.” Jimin’s warm voice filled in the gaps where Yoongi’s sudden coldness cast, sitting himself on the edge of the leather armchair as he plucked the glass of whiskey Yoongi had just poured from his hands and gulped it down.
Yoongi glared at Jimin, but it faded quickly as Jimin winked back at him. He was clearly trying to lighten the mood, and Yoongi took the bait, softening back into Jimin’s outreached arm that began rubbing circles down his back.
“I’m right here,” Seokjin said lamely, but his friends ignored him. He put the beer up to his lips and let it flood into his mouth. It was warm. Gross.
“Do you think he’s going to start doing that thing again where he’s late for everything because he’s too busy having sex with Y/N all the time to manage his time better? Because that was annoying,” Jungkook complained.
Seokjin spluttered, choking on the beer. “Wh-what?!”
Everyone laughed, including Namjoon, who gave Seokjin a sympathetic look. “I think now that he streams all the time, his time management skills have improved.”
“Besides, it seemed more like it was Soon Yi who was causing that issue. She was chronically late for everything. Is Y/N late for things?” Hoseok added.
Seokjin blinked. How did this conversation even get to this point?
“What the fuck is going on?” He asked, exasperated.
Yoongi chuckled, stepping back into his guiding elder persona with ease. “You’re down bad for Y/N, obviously. We are just trying to be supportive.”
“I am not!” He argued, the heat of embarrassment now turning into anger.
“You are too,” Taehyung argued. “I’ve seen you at work with her a few times. You are always staring at her like she’s the most delicious thing you’d ever eat. You want her so bad, hyung.”
Seokjin glared at Taehyung. “Just because I look at her sometimes doesn’t mean I am in love with her.”
“Okay Namjoon, I take it back. You’re not a fucking idiot. Or maybe you still are, but Jin-hyung takes the cake as the biggest fucking idiot here.” Hoseok said, a humorless laugh flying from his chest. “Wow. No one said you’re in love with her.”
Seokjin’s face flushed.
“Aww, don’t be embarrassed hyung!”
“Yeah, you don’t have to tell us all your secrets.”
“Did you have sex though?”
“Taehyung-ah!”
“What? You’re the one who asked in the first place!”
“So?”
“So, I know you’re curious too. I want to know which one of his porn star moves he pulled out of hiding. Did he Full Nelson her or was it purely missionary? Nah, nah, he’s too dirty for that. Hyung, did you Full Nelson her?”
“Wait, what’s a Full Nelson?”
“It’s a wrestling move,” Namjoon said.
“It’s a sex thing!”
“No. You’re making that up!”
“Hyung, is that a sex thing?”
“Yah! Shut up!” Yoongi said, and four pairs of eyebrows shot up as Namjoon, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jungkook broke away from their conversation to come back down to Earth.
Seokjin’s hands were sweaty and he jostled his leg anxiously as his friends composed themselves.
“Sorry,” Taehyung mumbled.
Jimin sighed, finally pulling his hand away from Yoongi’s back.
“Maybe we should let Seokjin-hyung speak,” he suggested, gesturing to his anxious friend.
Everyone nodded sheepishly.
Seokjin took a deep breath, not even sure where to begin.
“Well, I…First of all, Y/N and I really didn’t have sex. She had a panic attack over the possibility of me being gay for some reason. Er, well not me being gay but asking the question. And that seemed to be something for her that opened the floodgates to an entire larger panic attack. So, after I cooked us jeon, we just kinda hung out and ditched the idea of the stream. And then, she did fall asleep on me for a bit.”
The memory of you this morning flooded his thoughts, how your hair skimming across his arms as you shifted your head gave him goosebumps. Or that your scent had invaded his clothes, his nose, so much so that he could just picture you and the soft, sweet smell would manifest around him.
“Oh, oh hyung.”
“Don’t look at me like that!” Seokjin shrieked as Jimin frowned.
His friends all sat quietly, sipping their drinks. Taehyung awkwardly stood up, stating he needed to use the bathroom before he exited the room.
“When did it start getting this serious for you?” Namjoon asked.
Seokjin’s eyebrows knit together. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. We aren’t serious. We aren’t even together.”
“He means when did you start having feelings for her hyung? I know we said that none of us were accusing you of being in love with her, but are you sure that it’s just about sex, or friendship, or whatever it is you keep saying it is?”
Love. That word felt like fire in his brain. He couldn’t possibly love you. Not when he barely knew you. Not when he only just stood in your apartment for the first time, saw you asleep on him. What Seokjin knew about love was something faded and dusty, shoved under his bed in an old shoebox and hard to name. It had been so long since he felt the early feelings of life with Soon Yi.
Soon Yi. That was love, wasn’t it? The hot poker of constant chaos, being whisked away from one thing to another with pleasure and delight. Wasn’t that supposed to be what love was? He remembered ripping apart magazines with her in her dorm room to make a large collage that she created from top to bottom. All the colors swirling around them as they shredded page after page and refit together. Things clashed, patterns divided themselves into a kaleidoscope around her room. That was how Soon Yi was. A kaleidoscope of every color Seokjin had ever thought imaginable.
And she was like that for him too, when she laid underneath him that night, her body wrapped around his in every way imaginable, thrown from the bed to the floor as they christened every surface of that space imaginable.
With you, things weren’t able to be defined by colors. Instead, all Seokjin knew was that the heaviness and the intensity of first love wasn’t at all how he experienced you. No, you were like a fire that ignited in him, and he knew it. Scorched away every faded bit of that box under the bed and licked your flame along every part of him.
The way he so easily complied with you last night, despite the fact that he knew it would be bad for you both to be so close. Letting you lie on him while he sat there hard just by breathing in your sweetness. How his body responded like this was some first love despite the fact that it wasn’t, and he found himself changing the rules of his life every single time a sigh left your lips. That couldn’t be love, only fascination, only primal, sexual curiosity.
He’d admit his crush, but love? There was no way this could be it.
“No,” he said, clearing his throat. “I’m…I’m not in love with her.”
“But–” Jungkook began, but Jimin silenced him with a look.
“No,” he repeated. “I’m not in love with her. I have a crush. And we’re friends. And yeah, I am really really ‘down bad’ for her like Yoongi said. But it’s not like that.”
Jungkook rubbed his eyes with the back of his fists, sighing in clear frustration.
“Alright, hyung,” Jimin said gently. “Alright.”
Just then, Seokjin’s phone pinged, and his heart plunged right into his stomach.
You were live? Now? Without him there?
That wasn’t in your agreement anyway. You agreed to help her stream. You helped her. Now she doesn’t need you.
That little bit of knowledge felt like a twisted knife, but he ignored it anyway, rapidly tapping the alert on his phone that led him to the app.
“What’s that about?” Hoseok asked.
His other friends repeated the question, filling the room with a hum of curiosity.
“Shut up!” he snapped, clicking the side button to turn up the volume.
“–and yeah sorry about not streaming last night. Time kind of slipped away from me. But I plan on making it up to you guys, I promise.” Your voice echoed throughout the living room, hushing Seokjin’s friends as they hunched forward to see what was the cause of his sudden irritation.
“Is that…?” Yoongi began.
“Yes,” Taehyung said as he waltzed back into the room, patting his damp hands on the back of his pants. “That’s her.”
“Oh, oh okay I get it now,” Namjoon said. “Leave it to hyung to be down bad for someone who dresses just like him.”
What? Seokjin squinted at the screen, taking in your appearance: your hair was loosely curled around your face, some juicy pink lip gloss that he knew tasted like strawberries (he’d smelled it on you before) glazing your mouth, and a black lace bustier that was barely being covered by a pink linen button down was peeking out. One that looked exactly like the one he was wearing last night.
“Because that is my shirt,” he replied, dazed.
“What?” Jimin said, hurling himself across the coffee table and yanking the phone from Seokjin’s hands.
Jungkook followed behind Jimin, resting his chin on his friend’s shoulder as he squinted at you on the screen. “Can we make it any bigger? I can’t see shit from here.”
“No!” Seokjin protested, but it was clear he wouldn’t win this argument.
“Wait, why does she have your shirt?” Yoongi asked as Jimin and Jungkook fumbled with the television setup to cast the stream.
Seokjin glared at his friend. Hoseok laughed, sliding into the spot next to him and offering him some shrimp chips.
“Who cares? The better question is why is she wearing it on her live stream over her lingerie?”
“Ah, true.”
Yoongi turned to Seokjin expectantly, like he would somehow know the reason. Honestly, he wondered the same.
You weren’t ready for this. You two had barely covered the basics yesterday. Why were you streaming when the arrangement was between the two of you to do this together? Did you just not want his help anymore? Or did all the talking and your panic attack yesterday make you rethink things?
What if you had really wanted him to leave last night or your emotions got the best of you and you regretted everything? Seokjin could feel the spiral of his thoughts starting to unwind as he tried to figure out what the explanation for this stream was.
“A-ha! Ok, we got it,” Jimin said as he clicked through the series of menu permissions to cast a larger version of you onto the screen.
You were reading your comments, lightly gnawing on your lip. Nerves, he realized.
“Oh, uh, yeah, we can play the same game as last time. We didn’t quite finish, did we?” You said, rolling your neck and flexing your shoulders. As you did, your breasts thrust further toward the camera, plush skin Seokjin dreamt of shoving his face into so many times now fully on display for all his friends.
“Oh, fuck,” Jungkook said from somewhere in the room. Seokjin had no clue. He couldn’t break his gaze as you giggled at something in your comments. He felt heat head south from his face.
“Jesus hyung.” Hoseok said. “I don’t know how you get through a workday with her without getting hard.”
“He doesn’t,” Taehyung added unhelpfully.
He heard the air behind him shift, before a soft thwack and Taehyung’s responding groan informed him that someone had thrown a pillow at him.
“Okay, so new rules,” you said.“From now on, if any of you say something super perverted, you’ll be unable to comment until the next stream. I’ll have my mods ban you from commenting. The only way you can get on my good side again and get yourself unbanned during a stream is if you fulfill something off of my wish list I added. You can type #springwishes and see all I’ve put on there. Sound good?” You smirked at your camera, a little bite of confidence spreading through you.
Seokjin’s chest clenched, a tiny bit of relief washing over him as he saw you get your bearings, the comments spamming that hashtag for the link to your wishlist, which he’d advised you to make as a form of incentive and distraction during moments when you felt overwhelmed. If people were getting into deep waters with a topic, you could always redirect to the wishlist, making it more of a prize for your viewers to partake in versus punishment.
“Alright, so let’s do this,” you said. “Game on.”
Tumblr media
Maybe he was overreacting. In the last hour he and his friends spent intently watching your stream, you seemed to navigate your chat a little more with ease, or at least with redirection.
Yoongi had nodded off in his chair despite the earth-shattering moans your game was crying out as you tripped different combos. You were getting better at the game, and as you finished another level that gave you the prize of some more very not safe for work photos by your “girls”, a heavy yawn escaped through your lips.
Maybe you didn’t need his help after all. For what it’s worth, you seemed to be settling in comfortably to your performance aspect of the role, sometimes twirling bits of hair in your fingers, earning yourself half a dozen new subs and a few new things from your wishlist.
“Wow, we’re making good progress,” you said, reaching for your water bottle and pouting at your screen as you sipped from the straw.
The comments had become more mild during the game when you were fully immersed. Seokjin had been monitoring them closely, seeing your mod Wonwoo diligently screening spam out of the comments.
But now that your attention had shifted, they were being flooded once more with people vying for your attention.
Str3amballzak: Wanna fuk those tits
(Str3amballzak has been banned from the chat room)
Lickemup: sit on my face
(Lickemup has been banned from the chat room)
“And so it begins,” you said sarcastically, sipping more water from your straw as you switched your camera view to just you instead of the game.
(Str3amballzak has fulfilled wish list item number 7: new streaming headphones)
Str3amballzak: worth it
“You guys are working hard at getting yourself permanently banned,” you said, rolling your eyes. “But thanks I guess.”
Str3amballzak: ur welcome baby
Str3amballzak: ever do private streams?
“No, I don’t do private streams Mr. Ball Sack. Or Ball Zak? Anyway, do you want to go in time out again?”
Str3amballzak: fine ill behave.
Str3amballzak: daddy just wants to spoil u
Str3amballzak: u should put some other toys on that wish list ;)
Heat flooded Seokjin’s face as he read the chat messages fluttering by. This was going south quickly.
“Not your baby,” you said with a scoff. “And no thanks daddy. I’m good.”
“God, these dudes are gross. Is this the same kind of comments you get, Seokjin-hyung?” Jungkook asked.
“At first, kind of. But not much anymore. On occasion someone will try to dom me from the chat, but there’s a tip feature for that,’ he responded, eyebrows furrowed as he studied your face for any discomfort. Annoyance, sure, but you could handle that. His hands still hovered over his phone, ready to intervene in a moment’s notice.
Lickemup: loophole?
“Oh,” you said, eyes going wide. “I…I didn’t know that was an option.”
Seokjin didn’t either. And he certainly didn’t know what a “mystery gift” was. What he did know was that this wishlist would mail you anything without giving away your address. But that meant it could be anything.
Uh oh.
“Jesus Christ, guys,” you said weakly as the chaos of the loophole began to take over your chat, dozens more accounts flooding the comments to do the work around, plunging into the raunchiest of comments before being banned, then fulfilling some mystery gift before being banned again, this time for good. Seokjin looked at the view counter in the corner. It was rising exponentially.
He could see how quickly your control was leaving you, the glassiness of your eyes and shakiness of your voice as you fought to reel in your chat leading you toward the verge of a breakdown.
“Is there any way to turn that feature off?” Jungkook asked helplessly, his eyes wide as another onslaught of cyber attacks began.
“I don’t know, I didn’t even know it had this option,” Seokjin said, his voice tight as he helplessly watched you begin to shrink away from the spotlight he had spent hours with you yesterday practicing to do the exact opposite in.
You pulled the shirt tighter across your body, and that seemed to spring him into action: you there in his shirt, this chaotic chat undoing the work you’d done in a matter of minutes. Fuck those people.
“There has to be something we can do,” Jimin said, and Namjoon whipped out his phone, searching up the parameters of the wish list site you had used.
“Tell her to just have her mods turn the entire feature off in the meantime,” Hoseok said, tapping his foot anxiously.
Seokjin nodded, typing the message into the chat box.
JokeJinSeokjin: Turn off your the gifting feature
But his comment was lost in the slew of the chat. He knew there was no way you would see it.
“She definitely isn’t going to see that!” Taehyung groaned.
“Call her, hyung. You have her number,” Yoongi said, his voice gravelly from just waking up.
Right, a phone call. He could do that.
Seokjin opened his contact list and dialed your number. He knew you kept your phone on silent during your stream, but in a moment of luck, you looked down, where he assumed your phone was at and hastily pressed the accept call button.
“Hello?” Your voice sounded like a wild echo through the TV; the sound delay was just enough to warp you.
Seokjin stood and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. He didn’t even bother turning on the light, something about the isolation away from his friends and the darkness feeling like a comfort, like you two were in your own little world and not being put on blast in front of thousands.
“Turn off your chat commands. Now,” he ordered.
“Oh, uh, I don’t know how,” you said, then groaned. “Guys please I don’t want any of this. Get it the fuck together.” You paused. “What do you mean who am I talking to on the phone? It’s none of your goddamn business.”
“Y/N,” Seokjin warned. You needed to stop engaging.
“I know! I know, okay?” you snapped, and Seokjin nodded, even though you couldn’t see him. You took a shaky breath after a moment. “Are you watching?”
“I was but I needed my phone to call you so I’m not right now. Why? Is something happening?”
“No it’s just–never mind. I have set myself on away and muted so I can unlink this option. Wonwoo is turning off the chat completely for me.”
“Good,” he responded and opened a browser window, typing in his query. “Okay I looked it up and you need to click the right toggle in your stream settings and scroll down until you see ‘outside links’ and then–”
“Slower, please!” You said exasperated.
“You can always turn the whole stream off,” he said gently and you huffed in response.
You paused for a beat. “I don’t want to. I was fine before this whole thing started. I want to do this.” You sounded like you were on the verge of crying. He knew this meant a lot to you. So much of the first few stream’s success determines your future. He knew this. Saw it happen in his own online presence. If you lost a lot of followers tonight, you’d probably not regain them. And then your payout at the end of the month would be a fraction of what you were receiving.
“Okay. Yes. Then let’s take a deep breath,” he said, taking a deep breath of his own for you to follow. He heard the soft inhale through the receiver, and smirked.
“Now let’s get you all set up. See that toggle on the right?”
You hummed a response. “I think so.”
“Okay, now go down. You see the external link options?”
A pause. “Can’t you just do it for me?” You whined and Seokjin laughed.
“I could but I’m across town at a friend’s house. It would be easy if you do it yourself.”
He wanted to kick himself for saying that. Because he would be out the door in a heartbeat, would Uber or sprint toward you. But by the time he got there, it would be too late. Too much chaos was happening at once, and this needed to stop now.
“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to keep you—“
Seokjin clicked his tongue. “None of that, now. Focus.”
If he did show up at your house to help, he also knows what would happen next. After the momentary panic was over, you would be pissed that you didn’t handle things on your own. At work, however big the mess, you were always insistent on doing it yourself. Here was no exception.
After a few clicks he heard a gasp. “Got it!”
“Good job, princess. You did well.”
“Oh…thank you. Not without your help though,” you said meekly.
He knew you were running out of time. In a few minutes, you’d be back to kick ass in your stream, and life would go on. So he chose his next few words carefully.
“I thought you wanted me to be there for your first stream.”
“I..well…I did, but I felt guilty and like I had to stream tonight. I didn’t want to bother you, but it looks like I did that anyway, huh?”
“You’re not bothering me, ever. You asked for my help with this.”
“And you did! You helped so much.”
An awkward silence fell between you two as Seokjin thought. He exhaled roughly.
“So, what now? Are you just trying to get rid of me or something? Did I do something wrong?” His voice shook, the hurt he tried to conceal penetrated through the evenness of his tone.
“No! No it’s not like that,” you said quickly. “I just, I feel like I had to.”
“Had to what?”
“Stream. I felt bad and like I owed it to them today.”
“Why?”
“I…I don’t know really,” you said softly. “Because I’m desperate for the cash. And that sounds awful I know. But I want to make sure that when summer term comes around, I am ready for it financially. And my parents have been calling me a lot and I just…I’m sorry. Are you mad at me?”
He could hear the edge of your voice as you got more worked up, your last word cracking slightly like you were trying not to cry.
“No, no I’m not mad, Y/N.”
“Are you sure? Because I know you are helping and you already are spending time with me and it’s not like you don’t have other things to take care of! Like you had to work this morning and I got a text from Mino saying he caught you asleep in your office snoring. I didn’t tell him it was because of me, but god, if I could get this shit together, your services wouldn’t be necessary.”
“I’m not mad. Really, I think you’re trying to find reasons for me to be mad at you but I’m not. And don’t worry about my sleep schedule. It was one night out. I’m not that old for one night not sleeping in my bed to ruin my entire life.”
You hummed in response.
“Listen, Y/N, I chose to stay out all night knowing I had to open today. You might be persuasive but you aren’t that good to manipulate me into anything. I was there because I wanted to be there. Okay?”
You hummed again.
“I need some kind of verbal acknowledgement other than ‘hmm’.”
“Sorry. Okay.”
“Okay what?”
“I was listening!”
“I know you were, that’s not why I’m asking.”
You sighed. “Fine, okay I am not manipulating you. You wanted to be here.” You paused. “Seokjin?”
“Yes?”
“I don’t know if I can go back.. Like, what do I do? I’ve already been gone for ten minutes and Wonwoo is blowing up my texts and…” Your voice broke, and he could hear the quiet sound of you crying.
“Hey, breathe, princess. It’s okay. You can always just turn your computer off. The people watching were assholes.”
“Not all of them,” you muttered back. “God what is wrong with me?”
Seokjin turned on the light to the bathroom. His clothes were crumpled, heavy circles under his puffy eyes and disheveled hair making him look like some washed up finance guy. Honestly, he looked a lot like how he used to back when he did work in finance.
“Nothing is wrong with you, and you know it. You’re perfect. A mess, and really bad at remembering to put the pickled radishes back in the fridge when you’re done with them, but that’s still pretty great all things considered.”
He heard a chuckle on the other end. “Yeah, I’m such a winner. Ugh, I’m sorry. I just don’t know what to do.”
“Let me help, then,” he offered.
You took a deep breath. “Okay, what do I do?”
He chuckled. “I’m not going to decide that for you. That’s something you need to figure out. But, I’ll give you a few options. First, you can just shut your computer down completely and not apologize, not explain yourself. Your chat and any good subscribers that you actually want to have around will understand. You’re forgetting that there were thousands of people watching, and the loudest ones were the trolls, but they weren’t the only ones there.
“The other option,” Seokjin cleared his throat. “Is that you can go back out there, finish the stream, leave your comments off, and do what you want to do. I can’t guarantee it’ll be as lucrative but you will at least won’t be engaging with those idiots anyway.”
He let you mull it over, opening the medicine cabinet and rifling through his friends’ things. Eyedrops, god, his eyes were on fire from these contact lenses. He had a pair of glasses in his work bag, but they were a little old and frankly kind of stupid looking.
“Okay, I think…I think I want to try again. And like you said, I’ll keep the comments off this time.”
“That’s my girl,” Seokjin sighed as he squirted some solution into his burning eyes. Then he paused. “I mean, uh, you know. Good job.”
You chuckled on the other end. God he really needed to monitor himself better. Something about his conversations with you were becoming less careful by the hour.
“Thanks, I know what you meant. And thank you again.”
You paused again. “Is there something wrong, Y/N?” Seokjin asked.
“Well, it’s just. I want to do this, I do. But I’m not. God I don’t know, it's like I’m frozen in place. I just feel like there’s so many things I need you to show me before I get good at this.”
“Like what?”
“I don’t know. How to be sexy without ruining my career, how to just dust everything off and get back out there. That’s what you do all the time! With uh, with work and everything.”
Seokjin chuckled a little. Dusting things off was hardly something he was good at, but he did know how important it was to get back out there. He wasn’t quite sure what you’d meant in relation to work since that wasn’t really a space for it, but that wasn’t his focus. Instead it was on something else.
“You…think I’m sexy?”
“Oh, uh…yeah duh. Don’t let it go to your head though, everyone thinks that.”
Seokjin could think of quite a few people who didn’t think that, actually.
“Fine, fine, I’ll let it slide. And you’re right, it is important to just dust things off and move on. But that’s just one thing that I want to show you. There’s so many other things for you to learn.”
So many things. He felt proud knowing that you were doing this on your own, even after this hiccup; it meant that you were doing exactly what he’d tried to teach you yesterday. Even if you faltered once. It was impressive. And he couldn’t help but think of how much you were going to grow from this experience, how many doors it opened up for you, for both of you to forge a stronger connection. He wanted to show you all sorts of things, not just with streaming, but with him. How after seeing your apartment and couch with a dent in it, he wanted you to create a dent in his couch as you read books from your collection. Or that even in his large chef’s kitchen he had in his luxury apartment, he could stand side-by-side next to you prepping more carrots for other foods.
Maybe cake this time. And when you inevitably spilled ingredients all over the place like you did at work, globs of cream cheese frosting on your cheeks, he’d laugh and find it endearing as you always were, and try not to think about your tongue doing more naughty things to him as you lick it off of your fingers. How you clearly had a little stubborn bratty streak in you that liked to tease and tempt him, and without a doubt you would spend an extra long and thorough job making sure he had a front row seat to you sucking your fingers into your mouth. Just like how you knew you were sitting in that apartment of yours right now, his pink shirt wrapping around your large perfect tits. What were you wearing on the bottom of that ensemble, even? That bustier that was so goddamn tantalizing. Did it have matching panties? Were you wearing those too? He knew you well enough to know you were probably wearing some kind of jogger bottom since people didn’t get to see your fantastic ass in the camera view.
Good. That was something Seokjin didn’t have to feel jealous of. They could get their fill of your breasts on this stream, but he knew what that soft tummy looked like, how those strong, thick thighs looked in leggings and joggers and most recently, tiny pajama shorts. Thinking back to last night, the way those hiked up your thighs to your little panty line, how soft the skin looked. Would your thighs be just as soft if they were straddling his head? He could only imagine how delicious they would look after he left little nip-marks on them, suckling the flesh just enough to hear your breathing increase, to get you shifting all needy and antsy as you got more needy and impatient. Just as he would want you so that you would rub that wet pussy right on his face and–
“Are you still there?” you said, and Seokjin’s breath caught in his chest, causing him to cough.
“Yes, I’m sorry,” he rasped. He heard you chuckle low in response, and fuck. Something about how sexy your voice sounded had his cock throbbing. “I got, uh, distracted. What did you say?”
“Oh….uh, never mind.” You paused. He opened his mouth to ask what was wrong but your voice flooded through the receiver again. “I don’t want to take you away from your friends any longer. I think I’ve got things for now, but thank you again.”
His heart sank with disappointment that absolutely should not have been there. “Ah, right. Of course. Well, then I’ll let you get back to it.”
“Um, on second thought,” you said suddenly, and his ears pricked up. “Do you…do you think you could come by just in case things get out of hand again? Do you want to? If not it’s okay but––”
“I’ll be over in thirty minutes,” he said eagerly.
Seokjin was already throwing open the bathroom door and barreling down the hall, his friends all shifting from the TV where your away message was cast and onto him. Jimin’s eyebrows raised in question. Taehyung grinned at his friend devilishly, winking and nudging Jungkook.
“Okay,” you breathed, relieved. “Good.”
“Good?”
 “Mhmm. See you soon.” Your voice sounded lower, huskier. If there was any ability to think anymore, he would think you were trying to sound sexy and flirty.
“Yes, okay. See you.” As he hung up, Seokjin felt himself smiling at his phone, his heart feeling a bit fuller, more awake.
“I’m uh, I’m going to go over there. There’s some stuff she wants me to keep an eye on,” he announced.
He looked over at his friends. Namjoon attempted some form of polite nodding and understanding, but it quickly broke as everyone else erupted into laughter.
“Yah! What is it now? Were you guys eavesdropping or something?”
“We were,” Yoongi said between breaths, “but it wasn’t like you were having a particularly interesting conversation.” He dabbed tears from his eyes.
“Except the part where you called her princess. Phew you’re whipped.” Hoseok added.
Seokjin rolled his eyes, reaching down into the couch to find his keys that had been eaten by the cushion upon his arrival. “It just slipped out.”
“Yeah, well, you might want to take a breather before you head out, hyung.” Jungkook avoided eye contact with Seokjin, a blush rushing to his cheeks.
“And why is that?” Seokjin asked.
“Oh, I don’t know. Because your Big Dick Daddy boner is so incredibly obvious right now that I’m not sure it’ll be you keeping an eye on Y/N when it’s more likely she’ll be keeping an eye on you.”
Seokjin looked down and as if on cue, his dick twitched. He tried to adjust himself. His friends roared around him, even Jimin trading his careful composure in for hilarity as he threw himself to the floor.
“Fuck you guys.” Seokjin said as he headed toward the door.
“Not us, but maybe you tonight!” Taehyung called. “I’m sure Y/N will be singing ‘Hey Daddy’ when you walk in!”
Seokjin was already out the door, but he could hear the first few bars of the Usher song playing, and despite himself, he smiled.
Tumblr media
When Seokjin arrives, you have already explained to your chat that if they want to have any privileges at all, they’ll stop being asshats. That is a boundary you can more easily create, something less wavering than the control needed to essentially domme your chat.
You’re not a domme. Not even close.
“Be right back,” you say to your screen, kicking on the away message. You glance at your phone. Only about twenty minutes left until you’re ready to end things. Hopefully not too long to make Seokjin wait.
“Hey,” you say, opening the door. His dark hair is disheveled, bags under his eyes. He looks like hell. You fight the urge to immediately turn him around and send him back home.
He’s tired but his smile is still adorable and wide as he steps into the door of your apartment, discarding his shoes.
“Hi,” he says softly.
“Thanks for coming. I’m going to wrap my stream up soon, but I was thinking maybe we could debrief after?”
He nods and plops himself down on your couch like he’s been here dozens of times before, not just once.
“Yeah, of course. I’ll just be in here if you need me.”
“Are you going to watch the stream?” You ask, suddenly feeling self conscious. It’s one thing if Seokjin watches your stream when you’re not there, but the idea of him seeing you in lingerie and playing some sexy game is kind of intimate.
You in lingerie and his fucking shirt, that is.
“Well, I thought about it. It’s probably the only way I can really understand what’s going on in case you need me. I’ve brought my earbuds so you don’t get feedback from the other room or have to hear your own voice delayed. So we should be good.”
The idea of earbuds does sound a little bit more practical and distancing.
“Okay, yeah. Oh, and um, about your shirt…” Seokjin looks down from your face, scanning your body with his eyes. You feel heat lick over the places his gaze follows, down your collar bone and the curve of your hips and back up to the swell of your breasts that spill over your bustier. This is where his stare hovers for a moment, and it’s almost maddening, like he’s undressing you with his eyes. It stirs something deep in your core, pricking your nipples a bit to start becoming hard. The lace of the bustier is too thick and it’s lined to avoid exposing anything, but it doesn’t matter.
Seokjin is looking at you like he wants to eat you, and it’s turning you on impossibly fast.
“Keep it,” he offers after a moment, his eyes flitting away from your chest. His ears are turning slightly red. “It looks good on you.”
“Thank you.” It’s all you can offer in response. You clasp your hands together in front of you, the soft linen of his shirt skirting around your naked thighs. The shorts you wore to bed last night were all you could find to throw on with this getup that were clean and comfortable enough for a few hours of streaming. They’re a bit too short, but you figured no one on stream would see them.
You didn’t really consider that Seokjin would see them again, or really ever, and now you’re realizing how much skin you are showing.
“I’ll uh, get back to it I guess,” you say and Seokjin nods, now appearing more engrossed in setting up his phone with the stream than talking to you about it or paying attention to what you’re wearing, or the lack of it.
You scoot off to your room, shutting the door quietly behind you and sinking down into your chair.
You hit the settings for the away message to turn off and unmute.
“Alright, we are winding down for the night. Thanks to everyone who stayed with me to the end, I appreciate it.”
Your comment section responds in kind, with thanks for you continuing to stream through the chaos.
“Before I leave, though. I figured we can play a few more levels of the game. We have to make sure Candy has enough magic wands to unlock the special bonus game. Although, can I just say that picking wands was a weird choice? Don’t you normally just need one to get the job done? Why not something else, like different shaped dildos or something. Honestly, a little more variety in size and shape can’t hurt.”
After a few seconds of delay, you hear a boom of laughter in the living room. His laughter is infectious, and it blooms a large grin on your face.
“So here’s the plan. I’m going to unlock this bonus level tonight and then we’ll see what the hype is about during the next stream, okay?”
The chat has calmed itself, and you’re glad you tested having it turned back on instead of totally following Seokjin’s advice earlier. Maybe his streams still function if he doesn’t have his comments on, but you know most of your royalties are given from moments of engagement; your parasocial relationship with your subscribers is based on more conversation than the actual thing you’re doing. It’s how you’ve gotten this far without being good at video games. No one seems to care when you get stuck on the same level each time if you at least have engaging conversation.
JokeJinSeokjin: I’m hungry. Do you want me to order jjajangmyeon?
You smirk at your screen and nod, then answer a few questions your chat has initiated.
“Why did I decide to do a Late Night stream? I needed to change things up. You guys all started to follow me after Wonwoo’s stream and I feel like there’s only so many games I can play with the same kind of commentary before we all get sick of it.”
JokeJinSeokjin: What about mandu? The delivery minimum is way too high so we need to get something else.
A chuckle leaves your lips and you nod again, redirecting yourself to the chat once more. Someone asks how you’re feeling about continuing streaming in this way.
“Uhh, I would say that most of the streams so far have been a little crazy, right? It’s…doing this is hard. I’m hoping the more I do it the more things will start to chill out. I’m sorry to anyone who was offended by the comment section earlier. I didn’t mean for things to get so out of hand.”
JokeJinSeokjin: Food is ordered. Will be here in 30. 😋
Springin2Luv: @ JokeJinSeokjin who are you? I thought you didn’t have a boyfriend S.D.?
Your face heats as you prepare for the onslaught of drama this will cause, but then you’re shockingly surprised at Seokjin’s response.
JokeJinSeokjin: Just a good friend to make sure S.D. is fed and for another stream.
JokeJinSeokjin: Anyway 28 minutes until food time so hurry up and finish this level!
You laugh. “Well, you heard the man, let’s get back to the game.”
Twenty eight minutes later exactly, Seokjin knocks on your door. “The food is here! I’m starving. Are you done yet?”
You put the game on pause. “If you were watching the stream like you said you were, you would know that I’m not done with this level and am in fact stuck.”
“Well excuse me for not staring intently and absorbing every detail when I’m this hungry. I’m going to open everything and eat it all before you!”
“Go right ahead! You’re the one who wanted it so badly,” you call back, teasing. Though the second you finish the sentence, the warm smell of the crispy dumplings wafts into your room, Seokjin lightly creaking the door open and fanning the delivery bowl in your direction.
He raises an eyebrow, challenging you as he takes one bite into one, mocking before his face contorts into pain.
“Aish!!! It’s fucking HOT,” he yelps, and he drops the remaining dumpling back into the bowl, some of the green stuffing spilling throughout.
“Well yeah, what did you expect!?”
“Not for it to be so goddamn burning hot!” He fans his tongue for good measure, and you can see even from your desk the slight red tinge some of his taste buds have taken.
“There’s ice in the freezer. I’ll wrap this up now,” you sigh and shoo him away before turning back to your screen. “Well, you all probably heard that exchange, so I’m going to pause here. Sorry we didn’t get to beat it, but I’ll try again next time.”
You read over some of your farewell comments from your chat. But one really sticks with you.
Babybibi: I feel like I know that voice from somewhere.
Your stomach drops, but you remain composed, pretending you don’t recognize the comment. It never dawned on you that Seokjin’s fans could really be anywhere. Does he realize that? Is that why he safely stayed out of the camera’s reach? You’re not sure.
Tumblr media
By the time you have signed off, Seokjin has managed to plate both of your meals and get you drinks from the fridge. He’s plopped a throw pillow onto the floor to sit on at the beat up coffee table so you can sit in your regular couch spot.
“I learned my lesson with that couch yesterday. It eats people.”
“Oh yeah yeah, I know. Thank you, this looks great.” You blow on one of the mandu before popping into your mouth. Even after arriving ten minutes ago, it’s still crisp and hot. Meaning however hot it was for Seokjin must have been volcanic. “How’s your tongue?”
He pouts, sloshing some ice water around in his mouth before opening it to stick out his pink tongue. “It hawtsth,” he says with his tongue still lolled out.
You chuckle. “Oh poor baby, do I need to kiss it and make it all better?”
Seokjin shifts a little at the question, and you realize immediately the error in what you’ve just suggested. An image of the two of you drums up in your mind, you sucking each other’s tongues, an ice cube swapping from one mouth to the other as it melts. Nothing about this is even intimate; it’s just pure filth. And based on the matching redness in Seokjin’s ears, it’s clear his brain has gone somewhere similar.
He finally rolls his tongue back between his plush lips and you sit awkwardly, suddenly unable to remember how to function.
Seokjin makes the move to end the awkward pause, taking his chopsticks into his grasp and pulling out a large glob of noodles, shoveling it into his mouth.
Right, food. Your stomach gurgles at the prospect and Seokjin raises an eyebrow at you as he chews, his eyes flashing down to your stomach.
“Eat,” he instructs, so you do, following his commands to finish your dumpling and move on to your generous pile of noodles.
How is he able to just push past the awkward and not have it freeze him in place the way it does with you? As you slurp your food down, you can’t help but study him, so effortlessly comfortable to sit in silence in your apartment after playing games about sex workers.
You shouldn’t be surprised, you guess. Because Seokjin is a sex worker. He’s incredibly nonchalant about all of what you’re doing, no judgment to smudge this dynamic.
If your old friends, or even your parents knew about you doing this, what would they think?
Nothing good, you assume.
It’s not that you were raised in an environment that was all helplessly ignorant about sex and bodies. You’d had sex. Your parents sat you down when you had your first period and explained every single detail about the human body and reproduction to you. It was painful and scientific, so divorced from the intimacy of what sex really is that it didn’t present itself to be much of an interest or issue until, well, you felt the first licks of desire.
Those started as dreams. Ones where you would be heavily kissing and exploring the body of whoever you were crushing on at the time. The first one started with Wonwoo, after having spent all summer at the library memorizing the thin curve of his upper lips as he squinted to read the books in front of him. You would feel the heat of your core shifting you in your chair as you grew more intrigued, more curious about how his lips would feel on yours, what he would taste like. How his soft hands would feel if he actually held yours, not just the accidental brush when you would walk side-by-side back toward your neighborhood, where you would drop him off at the shop before slugging your way back through that sticky, angry heat that only added more to your discomfort.
That was the first summer you started masturbating. And it was so awkward in some ways, trying to learn what you liked and how you liked it but also wondering why you liked it, why you liked Wonwoo in a way that was no longer so innocent and picturesque but scarier, more real.
Your parents caught you, probably as every parent does at some point and just pretends they didn’t notice. Yours, however, made it clear that they knew. And while they never said anything beyond mentioning it once or twice, it felt humiliating. As if you were supposed to be above attraction and sex and pleasure. It was more in how your parents acted after this point that has given you enough insight to imagine how they would react if they knew what you did now.
No direct words spoken, just blank, glaring looks and sneers. Just them ogling you like you had told them you murdered someone. Shame, in all the nooks and crannies of what it is.
As for your friends, besides Wonwoo, they’ve all moved on. You had been so curious as a teenager, and wanted to know so much more. Yet, no one ever talked about sex. Some of them had dated through teen years. All of them dated someone in college except you. Sex was happening all around you and yet it was some forbidden topic. Even with Wonwoo after a while. You have a feeling you would have a next to near impossible time explaining what you are doing to those friends, and if Wonwoo wasn’t a streamer, you’re sure he wouldn’t fully get it either.
But Seokjin understands. This is his life, this is so natural to him that he can sit in front of you after a long day and lazily smile with the knowledge that you are wearing lingerie underneath his shirt.
“What are you thinking about?” He asks thoughtfully, and you blink, realizing that for the last few minutes you’ve been watching his gorgeous full lips, studying how his tongue peeks out to wipe away some of the sauce.
“Lips,” you answer in your haze.
“Ah,” he chides, and you blink away the memory.
“What?” You ask.
“Well, my lips are some of the best of them.”
“I didn’t say that.”
“Given how long you were staring at me, I would bet that you were thinking they are. Don’t worry Y/N, go right ahead and get a good look.” He winks.
“You’re so full of yourself.”
“Well, at least I’m full of something. I haven’t seen you take more than a few bites of food. Quit stalling and eat your damn dinner.”
“You know, you’re pretty bossy.”
“I guess that’s why I’m the boss.”
“Time and place. This isn’t the restaurant. Maybe it’s my house and I call the shots.”
He gestures around. “Well then, by all means. What are your commands.”
“For you to stop being a tool.”
Seokjin cackles. “Oh, that’s an insult I haven’t heard since middle school.”
“Well, is it any less efficient? I think it serves its purpose.”
“I think you’re still stalling.”
“Fine!”
You twirl a large pile of noodles around your chopsticks and shovel them into your mouth. “Thewere. Hawppy?”
“Immensely so,” Seokjin says, his eyes twinkling.
You don’t have the fight in you to argue anymore. The warm, savory noodles are so chewy and delicious, and the salt on your tongue is reminding you how deplenished you are from the energy of the stream.
You eat in silence, until the heaviness of your limbs has scattered to mostly just the heaviness of your full stomach.
You lean back against the sofa on your final chew, groaning when you’ve finished.
“Ugh, that was so good.”
“I told you. I’m a genius for suggesting it.”
“You got lucky and picked the best place in this neighborhood.”
Seokjin scoffs. “Excuse you. Might I remind you of a humble restaurant that is also technically in this neighborhood?”
“And does this place serve jajjangmyeon at one a.m. on a weekday?”
“No.”
“Then my point still stands,” you say.
Seokjin sighs and then follows up with a yawn that you can’t help but catch.
“So, debrief time. Before either of us fall asleep.”
“We don’t have to do this if you don’t want to. You can go home and rest. I can’t imagine you got much sleep today.”
“Hardly any at all, but you can’t get rid of me so easily.” Seokjin smirks. “Let’s talk about the stream.”
“Well, you caught most of it.”
“Yes, and I think it’s worth talking about.”
You mull it over for a minute, how you felt as the onslaught of gifted sex toys seemed to flood the chat, the overwhelm not really of the thing itself but the assertion over a boundary you were trying to place. Why was this so hard for you to do?
“I think I still feel so much like an imposter. I don’t know a lot about gaming, but I’m gaming. I’m not at all sexy enough to have a stream that does sexy stuff, so I feel like I’m just…” You shrug.
He opens his mouth, but then stops himself, nodding for you to finish.
“I don’t know, I just don’t want to fall for the pressure of being what everyone wants me to be. Which is, this role of the fat funny streamer. Like, every single trope in fiction has the side friend be fat and funny as some comedic relief. And because people wanted me to stream because I was so ‘funny’. Or they just see me as something to fuck because if I’m not completely sexless I have to be basically a pocket pussy for someone. All so I can make money. It’s so fucked.”
“But…you aren’t just a character in fiction, Y/N.” Seokjin reaches across the table, grazing his thumb over the back of your pinky knuckle. “You’re real. You feel things. You feel this, don’t you?”
You nod.
“So if this is the choice, to keep streaming for some financial goal, then who is it you want to be? You’re sure of what you don’t want, which is a good place to start. But what next? You have a choice.”
You pause. You have a choice.
In all of this, has it ever really felt that way? From the start, streaming was so rooted in financial stability. And because of that, it’s been so much heavier when you are forced into a performer role that you don’t want to partake in. It never occurred to you that you could actually control any of it.
But you suppose that’s what Seokjin does when he streams. He gives his audience some version of himself that he has a say in, control over.
“I…I guess I don’t know. I have never really thought about this being a choice.”
He nods, then stands, stretching his arms over his head. “Maybe that’s where you start. Trying to figure out who it is you want to be. And owning her. Whoever she is. Whether she wants to be funny or sexy or a combination of the two. If she wants to give up streaming and find another thing, or go full steam ahead and become the top streamer on the internet. You get to decide.”
Tumblr media
After dinner–and trying not to stare at your breasts– Seokjin helped you wash the dishes, talked a bit more about your plans for the next stream, and then he left. He knew he was risking another impromptu sleepover and after your debrief, he wanted to make sure you had the space you needed to sit with the idea of choosing this for yourself.
He knew all too well how important that was. Two years ago, in the same position, it was something he also had to decide: which parts of him stayed with him when he streamed and which parts he hid so he could keep them for himself. It wasn’t an easy choice. He still felt it creep up sometimes when he streamed, constantly vigilant of the words leaving his mouth so he didn’t ever give too much away.
Even when his friends were in the chat, he tried to not call attention to them by name. Similar to how you were on your stream. He wished he could be honest with you and tell you that this part never gets easier. Regardless of how much you wanted to share with others, there was the unfortunate reality that in order to maintain any sense of discretion and honor on the worldwide web, regardless of the type of streaming, the boundary between you and your audience would always lead to disconnection and loneliness. Conversely, you also were not ever going to be totally private and anonymous again. At some point, there was a tipping point where you would never again just be you. The digital footprint was permanent.
And in this limbo, as time moved on and winter finally melted into Spring, the pressure was on for Seokjin. He considered telling you that he was a sex cam streamer. He had felt it on the tip of his tongue that night, but in the many nights that have since followed, fighting against the decision to just tell you so you could move through it and potentially build a more realistic and relatable plan based on his own experiences and the potential betrayal you might have felt when you learned of the ways he wasn’t at all morally superior for doing things for money. Would you judge him for wanting better for you?
Moreover, would you be able to live with knowing that your friend–your boss– did gay sex streams? It just felt too delicate at this point to bring up, so Seokjin shoved it down inside of him, just like he did with his audience every time he hit the countdown to go live.
And unfortunately, in the last few months he’d only streamed a handful of times, which resulted in a significant decrease in engagement and therefore, income.
But between working at the restaurant and then coming over to sit in the other room as you streamed, his time was limited.
He was tired. You streamed late into the early hours of the morning, and unlike him, you didn’t work full time. On the days you did have the early shift in the morning, you somehow seemed rested, clearly used to the chaotic structure of your regular gaming streams that might have occurred the night before. You’d decided to do a brief pause on late night themed streams until you had a better game plan. And to the surprise of both you and Seokjin, your followers were supportive. So you would stream regular games in the late night slots on occasion, and Seokjin would sit on as an honorary mod despite the exhaustion. Granted, those nights you often fell asleep before Seokjin had even left your apartment, and he would gently nudge you awake as you drifted off on the couch, prodding you to go take off your makeup and looking on fondly as you thanked him sleepily before crashing on your bed.
One day in early May, though, everything that was delicately woven into the balance of things began fraying at the edges.
Seokjin had woken up to a grateful text from you thanking him for coming over the night before, and had sent a follow up invitation.
You 7:59AM: You can say no, but do you maybe want to go get dinner tonight when you’re done with work?
Seokjin 8:00AM: Of course I’m going to say yes. Any suggestions where?
You 8:15AM: What about that restaurant that you told me about?
Seokjin 8:17AM: The Mediterranean one? With a month-long waitlist?
You 8:18AM: Shit. I forgot about that. 😓
Seokjin 8:19AM: Wait a second. BRB
Seokjin 8:32AM: Ok I got a reservation for 10:30. I know that’s pretty late but that’s all I could get. Kitchen closes at midnight though so we should be fine.
You 8:32AM: HOW???
Seokjin 8:32AM: Head chef went to school with my brother.
Seokjin 8:33AM: They weren’t that close. If they were, we would probably have an earlier time.
You 8:33AM: I don’t care! I’ll just eat before I go. It’ll be a fourth meal type of situation
Seokjin 8:35AM: We can also go somewhere else
You 8:36AM: NO. 😡 Do not take this away from me. I already decided what I want from the menu. We are going.
Seokjin 8:37AM: LOL. Ok. I’ll come get you before? 10?
You 8:38AM: 👍
Seokjin smiled to himself, finally getting himself out of bed and ready for the day. He had a lot of work to do. When he opened his emails to get started, he saw an email from Worldwide Handsome. He opened it, his stomach sinking as he processed the words.
Dear User Jin,  We at Worldwide Handsome appreciate the streams you have trusted us to host for the last two years. In this last financial quarter, we have successfully increased our outreach to new targeted consumers, both from members of the LGBTQ community and their allies. In part, we have you to thank for this success. Your continued participation in WWH’s Partnership program has taken us to new heights for pleasurable camming and stimulation experiences. Among our competitors, we have maintained our position as one of the top pornographic live cam websites, with your stream being one of the most engaged with to-date.  However, in the last two months, the algorithmic engagement of WWH’s live shows has significantly plummeted. In conducting market research, we found that in this quarter, we have had a staggering 11% decrease in consistent viewership, subscription renewal, and ad revenue. While there are many contributing factors, it has come to our attention that one overlapping factor might be one of the major contributing factors to this financial loss. In most of our data, it was User Jin’s channel that demonstrated the largest risk among our partners, primarily due to your lack of consistent streaming over the last few months.  While we are grateful for your continued dedication to Worldwide Handsome, we regret to inform you that should your channel continue to trend downward in market data over the next 30 days, we will terminate your contract with us as Partner. If this should happen, we still welcome you to continue utilizing the basic features of Worldwide Handsome. You will still retain a generous commission rate, the ability to publish past livestreams to your channel, stream clipping functions, gifting, and more. If you would like to learn more details about the basic features provided with Worldwide Handsome, please visit the FAQ page on our website.  Once again, we are grateful for your ongoing support over the years. We at WWH are grateful to you and the many other streamers who continue to make sex a global artform that we can proudly stand behind. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.   Sincerely,  Worldwide Handsome Partners
Dropped from the partner program? His partnership with the website was what provided the groundwork for any sort of financial stability while streaming. It not only provided consistent scheduled payouts, but the commission retention was one of the highest in the industry. People were desperate to be part of the partner program, even if it belonged within the confines of gay sex streaming. And until this quarter, Seokjin had been leading the trend, securing his place within the company. But now, because of his neglect, it was being threatened out from under him.
On top of it, the money pit of the restaurant was at it again; a sewer line bursting a few blocks away had caused flooding and an electrical malfunction a month ago, which resulted in a transformer blowing and frying his computer with all the records. His parents had been tech savvy enough to digitize everything, but clearly not enough to have learned to back up things onto the cloud instead of leaving them on the harddrive.
For the last few weeks, he’d been shuffling documents back and forth between his laptop and the new system, begging his father to learn how to sign a PDF through some YouTube tutorial that only resulted in his father taking a fuzzy picture of the document in a poorly lit hallway of the cruise ship and sending it back over this morning with a text:
Here you go! Hope this is okay. Probably won’t have a connection for a while. Talk next week.
It was not in fact okay, and Seokjin was now considering just forging his father’s signature to get the new insurance forms authorized as soon as possible. The financial burden of what the restaurant was doing was starting to feel more like damnation and less of an investment. With each week drawing nearer to his parents' return, he began worrying that they wouldn’t be able to handle all the things that had become urgent needs.
He had a month to get it together. Otherwise, he could kiss both of his careers goodbye. With his father just adding to the slew of problems, today he was at his wit’s end. He was beyond stressed and in desperate need of release.
Which is why when he logged onto Worldwide Handsome after a particularly frustrating call with the electrical company, he found himself falling naturally into his old persona easily.
“I needed this,” he said to his audience, watching the bottom of the screen as the numbers slowly trickled in. It wasn’t nearly as many people as he had gotten accustomed to seeing you entertaining during your stream nights, and for some reason that felt intimidating to Seokjin. How you were able to secure an audience without needing to get naked, one that was flexible with you in ways that his audience could never be. He felt a tinge of jealousy at the thought.
BGood4Daddy: Missed u pretty boy
He watched the comments flit by, many of them taking on the same sub-dom dynamic he usually played as. Some asked where he’d been, but most of them were just horny messages begging for him to act out their fantasies.
His stomach twisted. Somehow he’d forgotten this was how things went.
“Missed you too. Missed all of you. It’s been crazy lately,” he said. He palmed himself casually through his slacks, trying to convince himself to get into the mood.
The tips started to slowly trickle in, starting to meet the bare minimum goals for Seokjin to begin stripping.
That’s one thing about his audience he’d always be able to count on. They would always ensure that he had enough of a payout to take his cock out.
He chuckled at the comments, starting to wind up as he removed his shirt, and then unzipped his slacks.
XMasterX: you’ve been a bad boy. Sir needs to punish you for leaving us for so long.
“Is that right?” Seokjin challenged. “Well, then if I’m just going to be punished, maybe it’ll be better if I leave.”
The threat had the desired effect; Seokjin’s tip jar began to fill up faster, the view count starting to increase back to a somewhat decent viewership.
Good. This was good. Soon he could get all of this over with and secure himself back into good standing with the website and his subscribers.
Within a few minutes, the tip jar announced that the first two milestones have been unlocked: take off shirt and take off pants.
“Eager are we?” he teased, slowly slipping his shirt over his head. He’d managed to get back to the gym in his apartment complex this week, but even if he hadn’t, it’s not like he wasn’t still toned from all the heavy lifting at the restaurant. With all the electrical issues, he’d been helping pull industrial heavy equipment away from the walls for the electrician to prepare to install a new grounding wire, and those weren’t particularly light.
The comments lit up with the praise, usernames old and new beginning to flash across his screen. He smirked.
“I know you’ve waited a while, but maybe you should sweat it out a bit. Show me how much you missed me.”
It felt so natural to say this, something he knew you hadn’t felt comfortable doing in your streams, but you’d tried a few times. He’d found it cute when you’d done it, almost like it was a gentle request. But for him now, this was about anticipation and tension, letting his viewers fall back into the world of fantasy he used to cook up every few days. This was a place of escape, where Seokjin was left behind and Jin took control.
The tip jar shook, the animated coins piling in.
He popped the button of his pants. Slowly. He smirked at the camera, reaching down and squeezing himself. He wasn’t hard, but he wasn’t small, and that was still part of the fantasy: the grand reveal that people had to work for. He often chose to work under the assumption that everyone was new in the chat, that this was a new experience for voyeuristic eyes. While he knew that wasn’t necessarily true, for all he knew someone could be stumbling into the chat room, unknowing to his body and the pleasure he was so willing to give.
Someone like you.
His cock twitched at that. He’d expected this fantasy to get a bit old for him: the idea that you would come across his stream and stay for the whole thing. It had been the fuel for his fire a few months ago, but so much had changed now that you were friends.
But now that he knew more about you, all the little details, fuck. That just made it seem even more real. He could see you in your small room, his shirt draped over you safely while you strutted around in those tiny pajama shorts.
He unzipped his pants, kicking them off at the ankles and sitting back down in the chair.
You’d be doing the same thing, he thought. Those shorts riding up those thick thighs he now knew exactly the weight of as they’d rubbed against his. They were so soft, all of you so soft. And he knew you’d shove them down quickly, annoyed that they got in your way, pouting a little bit that he wasn’t there to tug them off of you.
“Fuck,” Seokjin said. “I don’t know if I can really take it much longer.” It was true, his cock was hardening quickly, and the need to touch himself was growing heavier with urgency.
His chat sounded off, various commands to wait or to go for it. It really didn’t matter. He wasn’t there for them tonight. Even though maybe he should have been, maybe the risk was that if he didn’t comply, there would be no great reward.
mapl3stor33 tipped $3000: Welcome back. Give us a good one. You can always pay us back for it 😉
Seokjin smiled, his most loyal subscriber popping up with a generous tip. Yes, this was where he thrived, wasn’t it? Isn’t this what he was good for?
2 milestones unlocked from another viewer, this time selecting from some of the few dozens of options programmed into the menu to help guide the stream: cock ring and edging, no cumming.
God, why did he allow for there to be guided sessions? Why didn’t he lead the stream this time like the one he did a few months ago? That was the one where he’d cum all over himself after pretending to blindfold you.
Now, he knew even more about you, how the curve of your ass felt shifting against him. How soft your hair was when it tickled his arms while you slept, little whimpers escaping your mouth that he knew he could easily draw from you again when he got the chance. You’d look so pretty with a blindfold on, shivering in the warm light of your bedroom, mouth open and desperate as he lightly touched around your collarbone, down your sternum and between the valley of your tits. You’d been so bad about teasing him in those sexy little bustiers and corsets lately, and it would be nice if he got to tease you for once.
His cock ached through his briefs, asking him to end the torture, to free himself into the open air and stroke until he came thinking about all the ways he wanted to torture you with pleasure.
But with another tip coming in, this time adding the detail of a vibrating cock ring, Seokjin knew his fantasies would not be leading him to be satisfied tonight. At least not in the way he wanted.
Twenty minutes later, after playing into the game of begging and whining and falsely pretending he was going to cum to ensure he was edging, he came. A pathetic, unsatisfying dribble that wept out of him and hardly amounted to the sensation he felt earlier. He’d tried to think of you, but there was a block. Too many people watching, too many people demanding things from him. Instead of just cumming, it became aware to Seokjin how much of a performance these streams always were; the ring light setup ensured people could see every angle. He knew how to make attractive faces when he orgasmed that would leave everyone with plenty of imagery for their own personal fantasies later. He knew how to pretend to be more turned on than he was, and to force vibrators and dildos into proper angles to ensure he came. It was all part of the show.
One that he hadn’t taken part in for quite some time. When he masturbated last night in the shower, he caught his reflection in the vanity mirror. He saw how his face contorted, how his body would buck and writhe without his control as he came against the shower wall, how in some ways, there was something objectively unsexy about how he came, no glossy angles to make sure his chin didn’t pull into different skin pockets, no ambient lighting to capture the ridges of his body. Just the pure experience of orgasming as a human being and nothing more.
As he wiped up his mess, he decided to do a little chat with his subscribers.
At least he didn’t moan that one person’s name like last time.
Oh yeah. Jin what was that about? You have some girlfriend we don’t know about?
I thought he was gay. This is a gay site!
You must be new here. He’s straight.
Oh :(
Maybe he’s been too busy fucking her to come play with us.
I bet it’s boring sex. Who needs to do streams when they’re getting laid. You better tell her to satisfy you, or one of us will have to come show her how she could do better.
“Yah, enough of that,” he said, rolling his eyes. “I don’t have a girlfriend. And I don’t want to talk about what happened that one time. It was a mistake. It won’t happen again. Anyway, I’m tired. Time for bed. I won’t make you wait as long for next time. Bye!”
Ugh. What an awful stream. If it was going to be like this all the time, maybe he should have actually considered letting the website shut him down and take the cut.
But then how would you get everything taken care of with the restaurant.
He sighed. Is this how you experienced streaming too? He figured as much. His stomach tugged, disappointed he couldn’t talk to you about it. You always debriefed your streams with him, especially if you felt a little shitty during one. Now, because he was keeping this life of his separate from his life with you, he had no one who would understand to talk to about this. All he could ever do is provide support to you, but not you to him. It was still just as lonely doing this as it always had been. Only this time, Seokjin knew that it didn’t have to be this way. That some people could reveal other parts of themselves to get kernels of support when needed.
But that wasn’t going to be him. He was alone in this. And as he dragged himself to bed, feeling sorry for himself, he didn’t notice that he left his phone on silent.
Tumblr media
“Detective? Are you there?” The svelte redhead approached my desk. I could see through the cameras that she helped herself to snooping around. Whatever she was gathering from my notebooks, it was a trap.
Any good detective knows not to leave his mess around. Any clues she was trying to gather from this dark, dark world, they would be nothing compared to reality.
Reality is darker. Betrayal, people thinking they know me because they know my past.
I light a cigarette, inhaling deeply. The smoke swirls around my head like a cloud. It’s cloudy here in Seattle, and that promise of heavy rain reassures me. He’s going to try to move the kitty tonight, and I’m not about to let him use her as a distraction.
She leans her large, milky tits over my desk. She’d look good there, spread out across it. I’m sure she knows too. Any dame like her would know what she’s worth. A tempting distraction, but I am too good to fall for it.
“God what the fuck even is this?” You exit out of the screen on your tablet, the cover mocking you for even considering it. Whatever the hell you were expecting from Clues to My Heart’s raving 5-star reviews, this wasn’t it. This was a pile of absolute garbage.
And it isn’t serving its purpose of distraction. You are still imagining the main character as Seokjin, only Seokjin in some twisted, fake machismo, desk set smutty nightmare of a book that is so full of plot holes and clichés that you know you can’t stomach it further. Reading an awful romance novel is clearly not the answer to escaping the awful feeling in your stomach.
You delete it from your library and sigh, staring at the shelves of your apartment, debating if you really want to read something or just go to bed and let yourself cry.
He stood you up. He stood you up and you looked the hottest you ever looked. This was going to be your attempt at connection, at knowing for sure that you were on the path toward something more intimate than friendship.
But now, it was clear: whatever expectation you had for the two of you, it might as well be dead and buried with whatever body this stupid book is trying to solve the murder of.
You tried calling him multiple times. His phone just rang on and on as the clock shifted from 10:15 to 10:30 to 12:00. For a moment, you thought maybe you got the date or time wrong. Maybe instead of tonight as in today he thought you meant tomorrow?
Or maybe he lost track of time by finding a dog outside of your apartment, and then he had to go find its owner so he never had the chance to tell you he’d be late.
But more realistically, maybe he just doesn’t want to see you and this silence is meant to be interpreted as a boundary. Seokjin is definitely the type who would feel bad rejecting you when you come onto him, and would apologize to you despite the fact that he’s not guilty. It’s happened before, in the kitchen incident.
Even if it’s not that, it’s the fact that you carefully selected an outfit for tonight, a silky black slip dress that you are terrified to wear because there’s no part of you that you can hide. The slippery material will highlight every curve, every line (especially panty lines), and every droplet of moisture that you might dribble or sweat out.
But in the last few months, you’ve been trying to do one thing every day that scares you. Today, it would appear you were going to go for two. And now, you are dealing with one terrifying thing that might just be worse than the first two: rejection.
It’s humiliating. You know you’re going to go to work tomorrow and will have to see him knowing that there will be some awkward confrontation or avoidance game. You’ll have to speak to him. He’ll probably call you into the back office and let you down gently. Will reinforce the fact that he’s your boss and that things have gone too far or some bullshit.
And then, just like how you’ve been cut out of the lives of people who meant something to you, it’ll happen again, as it always does.
1 Year Ago
It’s raining so hard that you can’t see the road, but you’re trying to drive through it anyway, trying to make it home in time so you won’t miss it. You got out of work late; you thought being a substitute teacher wouldn’t come with all the extra grading, but you were wrong.
A year ago, the elementary school nearby shut down, and with it came the layoff of all its teachers. A stupid idea, really, because that meant an already over-enrolled school was forced to shuttle its students across town to the other elementary school, doubling its student body without doubling its teachers. Somewhere in the thick of it, you were looking for a job, living in your parents’ house trying to float from one career to the other.
Your friends around you were moving; Wonwoo was already in a new time zone, making an upward move in every area. His former girlfriend-turned-fianceé worked in HR for a tech start-up and easily navigated getting him in as a coder. They had just secured a penthouse with a gorgeous view. His life was locked together. Your other friends, it seemed, had moved on in their lives as well. Two of them already had children and were married. Two more were engaged. Everyone else was jetting across the world on expeditions to places with sandy beaches and bottomless drinks. And there you were: mid twenties, desperate for change.
So when you saw the banner across the elementary school advertising a need for substitute teachers, you decided you were desperate enough to try. And as it turned out, you loved it. There was something magic about working with young children, seeing how they developed new ideas you would never in your adult dreams try to fathom. But to them, to fly across the world on a magical escalator or hippo was a true possibility and you wanted part of you to have that same freedom to dream of the impossible. Their creativity inspired you to push the boundaries of life and dream of more.
Not to mention, it also landed you a boyfriend. One day while you were substituting for the gym teacher, nervously handing out kickballs to a bunch of fourth graders for class and praying they didn’t knock each other’s teeth out, someone stepped into the gymnasium and padded his way over to you, looking for his youngest sister to take her to a dentist appointment. And not too soon after, you and Do Woon had your first day date, which turned into a night date, and then a breakfast date. It was more like a 3-day date where the two of you spent the entire weekend rolling around in his sheets. You only managed to escape that awkward conversation with your parents because they were out of town for the weekend. If they had known any different, you would probably have died from embarrassment.
Teaching has given you a lot of great things. But with that care comes a cost. You are now late for your father’s surprise birthday party and trapped in an insane rainstorm.
You weave around fallen tree branches, trying not to obsess over the clock as the minutes roll smoothly into each other, knowing that by now, the surprise portion of the party is over. They’re probably eating cake now and reminiscing on his milestones. Your mother is probably chatting to your aunts and uncles about the renovations they’ve made to the main bathroom. Do Woon is supposed to be there, and if your instincts are right, you’ll be getting engaged tonight.
It would be the perfect opportunity. All your family is there ready to celebrate, and your father who hates being the center of attention will have all the pleasure of dumping the focus onto you.
Do Woon has been acting odd the last few weeks. You’ve been pretending not to notice, especially when recent conversations have been skirting around topics you two used to discuss regularly. You have a trip to Bali planned for the fall, which he once said is where he would want to honeymoon. He’s given very few details about this trip since he booked the flight almost three months ago, and you suspect that’s because he doesn’t want to give any spoilers about the honeymoon suites or couple packages you both looked over when you decided this was where you wanted to vacation. You’re not sure you have enough time to plan a wedding in six months, but if this is what Do Woon wants, who are you to say no?
Since the start of your dating, he’s been thoroughly engrossed in a very specific timeline, and had no issues telling you so: he wanted to date for about a year, get engaged, get married (wherever you wanted, he insisted), have a honeymoon on some beachy shores and get started with making babies. He is the eldest of six. He wants a big family.
You’ve talked him down from that number over the last few months, having him promise instead you will see how things go and will take it as it comes. While he wasn’t entirely pleased with that compromise, you think his agreement is a good enough answer. But that’s how Do Woon is. He plans his life down to every meticulous detail. Which is why even if you don’t think you can pull off planning a wedding in such a short window of time, you know he can.
So tonight, you think it’ll happen. And unfortunately for you, you’re going to look like absolute rain-soaked garbage, the perfect accompaniment to your shitty day.
The once neatly wrapped gift next to you is now soggy from the downpour. You didn’t check the weather before heading into work today and left your umbrella in the car. It rolls around on the floor in front of the passenger seat, completely dry and mocking.
At work, you found out that they’re continuing to make staffing cuts despite the shortage, as many families have chosen not to enroll in the school next year, instead moving their children to private schools closer to their homes or homeschooling. As desperate as they were to hire you, the work you put into the year you’ve been here is now about to just melt away.
You don’t know how much longer you’ll have a job.
You anticipated this, of course, spent most of the fall applying for graduate programs. Of the ten applications you submitted, you’ve been waitlisted in two places: the local university here and the more modern (and urban) program not even remotely close to this place. You’d hoped when you sent those applications that things would be getting more serious with Do Woon, but it had only been a handful of months. You weren’t sure where the two of you were going. And now, you are hoping for the local program, not wanting to give up on your dream of teaching if it means you don’t have to.
Your phone lights up in the darkness of your car. One more missed call from your mother. But you’re so close, almost to your neighborhood. You know how poorly this is going to go.
As you take a final turn, making your way down the street, you see the street has started flooding, barring you from your block. It’s no use, either. You can see on the block after yours that those crossroads are also flooded. The only way to get home is to do so on foot. So that’s what you do, park your car on the non-flooded side street, prop the sodden gift under your arm, grab your umbrella and head into the rain.
The thing about thresholds is that they are a place where you exist in transition. From the street, you can hear a hum of music but don’t know the exact tune. You see faces lit by the warm lamps of your dining room, and can make out your uncle and your father’s boss. But you can also hear the rain thrumming on the roof, smell the Earth as the rain hits the soil. There’s the chill of the wind cutting through your damp clothing. The moment you step into the house, you’ll be someone else. A daughter still, but also someone else’s future wife.
The warmth of the house touches your face when you step in, the loud voices you’d heard from the other side of the door now having owners: your aunt yelling at your young cousin not to touch something, the sharp guffaw of your dad’s best friend.
You take off your soaked shoes and walk into the dining room. The cake has been cut, neat squares leaving only globs of frosting leaves behind on the golden tray. The neapolitan ice cream is abandoned and melting into an unappetizing brown sludge. Empty beer cans stack up on the table’s other end.
Your stomach gurgles. You’ve barely eaten all day. But you know that will all happen soon. There’s time for cake and celebration after you see the birthday boy.
You find him in his favorite lounge chair, foot rest out as he relaxes and listens to some story one of his co-workers is telling about a client.
“I’m telling ya, she had this massive tits that would knock over everything and everyone. So I says to her one day, you know what I says? ‘Ma’am, now pardon me for sayin’ so, I’m a respectable fella, but I think you might need to get a car blinker.’ And she asks me why and I says to her, ‘Because when you’re turnin’ around, we then’ll know to duck!’”
A roar of laughter bellows through the room, your father smirking at the story as he sips his beer. Ugh. You saunter over to him, fanning a smile across your face.
“Hi Dad,” you say, and face the rest of the guests. “Hi everyone.”
“Y/N! What the hell happened to ya, kid. Rainstorm getcha?” Your father’s boss asks.
You give an apologetic nod. “Yes, I was caught in it. Left work late. The road is flooded so be careful when you leave.”
“I drove over in the truck, so I’m fine,” he responds, sucking down the rest of his beer. “Ah, all out. Can I get you another Birthday Boy?” He nudges you with his elbow roughly. “What about you, hon?”
“I’m, I’m all good. Thanks,” you say awkwardly, trying to ignore the way he’s looking at you up and down salaciously. This man is older than your father, is standing next to your father and behaving this way. It makes you want to strip your entire skin from your body and wash it in the washing machine.
“Suit yourself. I’m gonna get some more of that cake anyways. You coming, Bill?” Bill, the apparent co-worker who was bragging about his evident sexual harassment, sighs.
“Yeah, yeah. Well, if I don’t see ya, happy birthday again. Thank your wife for the dinner. It was great. And it was good to see you too,” Bill waggles his eyebrows and walks behind you through the foyer and into the dining room. For a brief moment, you swear you feel him cup your ass in passing.
“Where have you been?!” Your mother’s voice carries across the room. You whip your head to search, finding her walking into the room from the back entrance to the kitchen. She must’ve been cleaning up because the front of her blouse is wet.
“I was working and I had to stay late. And then the storm happened and I had to park down the street. I’m sorry.”
“Well because of you, we awkwardly stood around for well over an hour waiting for you to show up and get everything set up so when your father walked in the door it would actually be a surprise. Which it wasn’t, by the way. He recognized Carl’s truck out front and I guess that was the big giveaway. You were supposed to help me with this, Y/N!”
Your father looks at your mother and sighs. “It was really no big deal. I hate surprises anyway.”
“For a milestone birthday like this, you could use the surprise,” she asserts.
“Well, I got one anyway didn’t I?” He says sharply, standing up and walking out of the room. The gift in your hands feels like dead weight. You set it down onto his chair.
“What happened?” You ask.
Your mother walks closer, looking around the room to ensure no one else is listening. “Your father is being laid off. He found out today. And then when Carl and Bill and all them showed up, they kept talking about it. Turns out no one else in his department is being laid off. Just him.”
Your stomach sinks. Your father supplies most of the income that your family needs to stay afloat. He’s not expected to retire for a few more years. Which means if he gets laid off, he’ll lose a few years’ worth of extra employer contributions to his retirement fund. And his boss and co-workers being such assholes to rub it in? Fuck them.
This wasn’t how you expected any of this to go.
“Oh god. Poor dad.” Your mother nods.
“Yeah, what a birthday. And you weren’t even there to share it with him because you were too busy to be here when it was the only time we needed you to show up. So thanks for that.”
Her words are like knives. You feel yourself being sliced open from all the guilt. She’s not wrong. You’d been the one to organize most of this party, to convince her to follow through with it. And you missed it. People around you have begun departing, shouting happy wishes to your father. All his unwrapped gifts sit on the coffee table next to you, colorful paper pulled open. You missed the entire thing.
“I didn’t mean to,” you try, but you know it's useless. Your mother waves goodbye to one of the neighbors. It’s stopped raining enough to not be a constant heavy click against the windowpane.
“Well you did anyway. It is what it is. Now are you going to disappear on me during clean up or are you going to help me?” She begins to weave the discarded wrapping paper out from under the gifts, setting them into a neat pile on the coffee table.
“I’ll get a trash bag,” you offer, and make your way through the house into the kitchen. Every surface is riddled with stacks of paper plates with balloons on them and plastic forks and spoons. A large yellow tupperware bowl idles by the sink, some vinegary salad now mixed with remnants of every other food from watermelon to potato chips. It’s the first thing you dump into the trash bag.
You follow the garbage, in and out of the half bathroom and dining room, back to the living room when you notice someone is missing.
“Mom,” you say. “Where’s Do Woon?”
“Was he supposed to be here? Because I didn’t see him.”
“He didn’t come?”
“No, Y/N. Unless he is hiding upstairs in your room for some reason, I have not seen him at all tonight.” She dumps a pile of plates into the trash bag. “Think you can handle the rest? My feet hurt and your father and I need to discuss some things.”
“Sure, I am just surprised he didn’t come. I thought–”
“God, honestly. For two seconds can you not think about yourself? It’s not your birthday.”
You fall silent, nodding your head as she steps out of the room and goes to find your father.
Something must be wrong, you think. You reach into your pocket and grab your phone, checking it for messages from Do Woon.
There are many missed calls from your mother, but none from him. Strange. The last time you talked was today. You had reminded him what time the party started. He didn’t respond, but he read the message, and you were satisfied with that.
You select his contact info and hit the call button. After a few seconds of ringing, it goes to voicemail.
“Hey, it’s me. Not sure what happened tonight, maybe you got stuck in the storm. I know I did, it was crazy and I missed the entire party. Today’s been awful. But uh yeah, call me back when you get this. Love you.”
Maybe he is stuck in a work meeting? He does work late, sometimes unexpectedly, putting in extra hours at his office until you are getting ready for bed.
You shoot him a text.
You 9:02PM: Hey, missed you at the party. Are you working late?Read 9:02PM
Immediately you can see he has opened it. But after ten minutes, there is no response.
You 9:12PM: Everything okay? Read 9:12PM
You clean up the rest of the trash in the living room, tying off the bag and stepping outside. It has stopped raining. The world looks glassy as droplets fall from the tree limbs and refract the streetlights. You walk over to the trash bin, the glaze of cold water running down your hands as you deposit the bag in. You grab the mail.
No acceptance letters. For some reason that feels like the cherry on top of the shittiness that is today. Your mother’s bitter words, your father’s exhaustion, the weather’s chaos weaving into your insecurity. It all feels like some horrible dream.
You need Do Woon. He’s not much of a talker, but he is a good listener, and after a good ranting session, he’ll usually fuck the sadness out of you so you don’t have to think and afterward you’re usually too tired to do anything but sleep. That’s what you need right now.
Where is he? It’s been a half hour and no response. Maybe you’re being paranoid and soon he’ll call and poke fun at how worried you seemed. Maybe he’ll be mad that you are interrupting a work meeting. But today has been awful. And all you want is to hear his voice.
So you call him again, and this time it goes immediately to voicemail.
You 9:38PM: What is going on? Read 9:38PM
You 9:39PM: Please answer me. I’m getting worried. Read 9:39PM
You 9:39PM: Babe!
Message failed to deliver.
A glow falls onto the damp earth around you. You look around for the source and then up. As the rain clouds break apart above you, you realize you’re standing in the light of the moon.
Tumblr media
He never called back. That was the end. When you think about it now, there were some vague signs of distancing, but it never amounted to anything that made sense. There, then gone, Do Woon cut you off one day and never looked back.
Much to your embarrassment, you didn’t handle the situation well. That night, you tried calling him three more times, only to receive a message that the number you tried to reach was unavailable. You’d considered driving to his apartment, but as the night wore on, you started to put the pieces together. He didn’t want to talk to you. He’d blocked you, and you didn’t know why.
For the first month after the ghosting-turned-break-up, you tried to get intel to figure out what happened, how you had so royally fucked up your relationship that he didn’t even want to tell you to your face. Unfortunately, most of your friends you’d made that year were through him, and with him cutting you off, so did most of your friends.
Your parents were sympathetic, to a degree. You were given approximately two days to mope. And then you were told to start looking for better jobs in case you, like your father, would be laid off.
“It’ll be a good distraction, I think!” Your mother had said. “Nothing says get over a relationship better than starting a new job.”
You and your father passed job postings back and forth for the next week. You were less than thrilled with the job market. Sure, jobs existed, but none with your skillset or interests or desired pay. To gain anything you would have to make a choice to lose something else, and it twisted your gut at the prospect.
But, in the midst of the heartache, came your rejection from the local university. It was for the best, really. You knew you only wanted to study there because of Do Woon, and without him being part of your life it didn’t matter anyway.
And just as you were at the end of your optimism, ready to let hope die and surrender to the dreamless haze, an email came in with an acceptance into the final university. A big city laid before you to explore.
Things snapped into place. You finished up the school year and told your parents you were moving out.
And now you’re here, in an apartment all to yourself, attending your dream program (or at least trying to) and learning how to cook a halfway decent meal. An apartment that has you rotting on a couch as you try to remind yourself that what happened with Do Woon was a fluke, and not anything you did wrong. And it certainly isn’t some sign that you’re doomed to repeat the same fate again.
You’ve learned in the last few weeks that he’s engaged to someone he met through a matchmaking service. In his profile picture, his future bride is holding an ultrasound photo and he has his hands on her very large belly. “Coming this summer: our own ray of sunshine” the caption reads.
You can’t imagine him ever saying that. He always hated cheesy things. But that’s the surprising thing about all of this: you also never expected him to ghost you and immediately start seeing someone else.
He was a fluke in the timeline. Not a rule, right? You know this. You know not everything happening once means you’re doomed to repeat it forever.
But why is that all you can think about with Seokjin?
You went to work this morning, and he said nothing. No, he probably won’t disappear into the abyss because he manages this place. But when his parents return, will he then? Is he just biding his time before he vanishes?
You hope not. God, you really hope not.
The day rolls on without a word between either of you. Maybe this is how it should be, you think. Two people. Uncomplicated. Not tied to each other by strands of anything.
Fate. This is how it works. It brings people together and then it pulls them apart.
I got to know what's going on with Nega!Joey and Nega!Wally. What's their relationship like? How is their home life? What was Joey doing while Wally was unavailable? How and why did Joey join DNK ? Would Joey even have remembered his brother if he went away for years while he was a baby?
Tumblr media
Again: sorry for using regular names and sometimes putting "negative" before, I already have problems with spelling, and doing that with inverted names is just impossible (cries in chaos).
[Warning: abuse, manipulation, violence]
Before we start, a little thing: the DNK actually stopped existing after operation P.O.O.L., and the kids decided to create something that could resemble the KND... buuut never actually worked because kids in that world are just too bad. So they called themselves Kids Next Door but did little to nothing to save kids. Penny was the one that, after convincing Wally, would bring the DNK back and keep it running even after Wally got incarcerated again by the GKND, that, in this world, ACTUALLY want to save planets from unruly kids and cruel adults. They actually believe kids and adults can live together and cooperate.
That being said, let's jump to NegaWally and NegaJoey.
Their family is a mess. Their father never spends time with them and actually thinks they're just mistakes and hates them to the core. Their mother tries her best to take care of them and protect them from Sydney, who won't hesitate to beat them, Wally especially. In this AU, the main reason Wally created the DNK was so his father would finally calm down and look at him as something more once he would have kids work for him. It didn't work, so he just went on and became even more unhinged and cruel to everyone.
When he was captured and sent to the Broccoli mines, he had time to study a new plan to take control of his minions and the world again. Meanwhile, Joey was left in a worse household, his father being even worse, drinking and beating both of them. Joey would grow up resenting him, resenting his mother, who he saw as a "pathetic passive coward" and his brother, who was always brought up as a joke because he failed his domain.
He joined the KND to escape his house, and after a bit no one would DARE to joke about his brother, because he would beat the shit out of them. He doesn't talk, and doesn't know ASL, so no one can communicate with him... but Penelope.
Penelope was the first one who actually talked about his brother as a hero, as someone to look up to. She was the only one he allowed to talk about Wally around him.
Wally returned home at 17, after 7 years in the mines, and he looked... different. He was calm, collected, didn't look like the ruthless leader everyone talked about. Well... until he broke his father's arm in front of them when he tried to hit him. His mother didn't allow Joey around Wally while he was at home after that, and Wally didn't seem too interested in Joey. He was more interested in Penelope, actually.
Negative Sector V 2.0 would be the key to lure the normal kids and teens into their world again, but this time it was the GKND of BOTH sides that would help stopping NegaWally again and this time, they would put him into a catatonic state so there was NO CHANCE he would try and do anything else.
Years pass, the DNK are still running because Penelope kept them up, using Joey as she pleased since the boy was in love with her. He's now cruel, violent, a silent rage ready to strike, ready to do anything for her, even... find a way to free Wally again.
The plan was started by Penelope, Joey would take "care" of any guard around and Nigel would finally wake Wally up so he could take his final revenge to the world. Both worlds, actually.
Joey was having second thoughts, and actually tried to stop Wally. To keep him under control, Wally forced him to kill their parents and burn their house down, just to then love bomb him so that Joey would see him as the only person in the world to depend on.
It worked.
