The Balaskani come from a small planetoid in the Xi Scorpii system. Balaskani have a humanoid body plan but have arthropod-like features. An impressive digestive system and few cultural dietary restrictions leave little that the Balaskani cannot or will not eat, making them often frightful dinner guests. The individual on the right is ready for a great night out.

Boarding actions on spaceships and stations are quite risky. One errant bullet, plasma bolt, or laser blast could be the end of everyone involved. Even so, for many of the rogues of Wild Space, the payouts are worth the risk.

Hi, I love your ideas, could you make some monsters of around 10th level that fit in with the whole wildspace setting? I’m not finding any good options myself and I was wondering if you could help.

Hiya! Thanks for the compliment. I was actually going to do this anyway, since I’m a big fan of astronomy and space in general, but I was waiting for the books to come out so I could at least know what sort of guidelines they were going to put down for extraterrestrial monsters :) I’ll definitely create some in the future, though, so keep your eyes open!

Thought: how many other planets are in Exandria’s star system? If human history is anything to go off of, then surely some of them are naked eye planets. What are they? How many are there? What others have the people with arcane telescopes found that the average person can’t see?

I have been sitting on this image for way to long, it was taken June 2021. Decided to go for a drive out in the Siuslaw National Forest around Yachats & came across this massive patch of Foxgloves. Not pictured are the white ones growing further up the hill. If you look in the distance sometimes you'll see a castle that moves around the wasteland with four bird-like legs. ✨ ∴⁣

The Furies - a planetary system consisting of the planet Alecto (Right) and it’s two moons Megaera (Left) and Tisiphone (Centre). The arrangement of magnetic fields and radiation belts make space travel near the Furies a hazardous venture.

Alecto is wracked by powerful electric storms that cause noble gases in the atmosphere to glow.

A survey of the Furies last year discovered a colony of meta-humans living on a high elevation plateau in Alecto’s southern hemisphere, stranded by a shipwreck in the 22nd Century.

It is a desolate place ravaged by neon storms with barely enough oxygen to breathe. The persistence of a colony in such a place is a testament to the human spirit, and the desperate, unrelenting force of natural selection.

Oh, hey!  It’s another post! Author’s Note: May I be free of these shackles, free of D&D.  None the less, I had ideas while I was writing my previous bit…  So here you go!  One last look at Spelljammer, at least for a long time.  That new book still burns me out, especially having to explain the Flow instead of Astral Sea.  But, discard the meaninglessness in search of meaning…. or something like…
