I got mud on my rainbow
I got holes in my dream
I got shoved or fell off my carousel
Some days everything goes wrong
So what? Okay. So everything goes wrong
What's the use of staying sore
You become a famous poor
But as yours truly
First I rinse off that rainbow
Then I'll patch up that dream
Disappointed well.. where's that carousel
I'll climb back where I belong
The ride's the same for Mr right or wrong
So I'm not a plaster saint
But there's something else I ain't
I'm no loser, and with a guy who comes on strong
You gotta expect that most days
Everything goes wrong

Excelsior Hotel Ernst, Cologne, Germany, May 10th - 7 am
Sounds of cars honking, trains running on tracks and throngs of people walking around the street could be heard in the early hours at downtown Cologne city. People were trying to get to their workplaces on time and the rush morning hour was just about to start. Standing right in front of the majestic Cologne Cathedral and next to the Main Train Station of Cologne was an old but beautiful hotel, Excelsior Hotel Ernst. Built in 1863 the hotel had a rich history. It hosted many famous guests from the early days including the first German Kaiser Wilhelm I. It was from the hotel that he saw the completion of Cologne Cathedral, making the hotel truly a historical place. Other notable guests of the hotel included Sir Winston Churchill, Karl May and Andy Warhol. During War World I the hotel even spent some time being headquarters to the British Army. In War World II during a heavy air-raid the roof truss and attic of the hotel were destroyed. However, the first four floors of the hotel were intact so it stayed open until 1944 despite the challenging circumstances of war. In 160 years it underwent many renovations. Now it has 142 rooms, 13 luxurious suites and 2 restaurants spread over five floors. Even with the age of the hotel it was still well maintained. Solid marble columns and floors, dark wood panels, gold bannisters, every square inch of the hotel showed a past ancient era. Yet everything is preserved to perfection, making it still one of the best 5 star hotels in the world.
Despite the noisy crowded street down below, up on the third floor of the hotel, inside the largest and most luxurious room the hotel had on offer, buried beneath a thick fluffy comforter, a woman was sleeping soundly with not a care in the world. Her body was lying sideways, her right arm under the pillow while her left arm laid on the empty side of the bed. Her eyes opened slowly all of a sudden and she blinked several times. She was expecting to see the man of her dreams lying next to her, as he usually did, but he was not there.
She pushed the comforter aside and sat up slowly. She stretched, yawned and rubbed her eyes, then she tidied her hair a little. She then stood up and approached a crib standing at the foot of the bed. There, inside the white wooden crib slept a beautiful ten month old baby, her darling first born. She smiled as she gazed at her daughter's peaceful sleeping face. She was glad that they were finally able to give her a proper place to sleep after spending the past two nights sleeping in an airplane and a car.
Suddenly she heard the sound of someone humming and singing. She turned towards the sound and suspected it was coming from the bathroom. She figured her husband was in there so she walked towards it and opened the bathroom door slowly. Sure enough, she found her husband in the white marble bathroom, sitting with his back to her in the jacuzzi. He was singing his favourite song ever, Hungry Eyes by an 80's crooner Eric Carmen, and it made her smile. She once asked him why he loved the song so much and his answer made her cheeks burn in embarrassment. It was one of the moments where she realized for the first time that he might have feelings for her, and it turned out she was correct.
He didn't seem to realize she was there because his eyes were closed, so she decided to surprise him. She tiptoed slowly towards him, knelt beside him on the bathroom floor and gently put her hands on his eyes. He stopped humming immediately and jumped in surprise. His arms that were lying relaxed by the edge of the jacuzzi slipped and dropped into the water, splashing water all around. She opened her mouth in shock then giggled as water soaked her face and body. She released her hands from his eyes and wiped the water on her face.
"Honey, you scared me!" Sebastian exclaimed.
"I'm sorry Iubirea mea.. I was just about to give you a kiss and now I'm all wet." Y/n said, gesturing all over her body.
"And whose fault is that?" Sebastian snickered.
"Yours obviously." She smiled and Sebastian's mouth opened in mock surprise. He splashed some more water on her making her squeal.
"Come here you.." Sebastian pulled her closer to him, cupped the sides of her face with his hands and kissed her gently, making butterflies swarmed in her stomach, as his kiss always did to her.
"How are you this morning Iubirea mea?" She asked, breaking the kiss.
"Well.. I woke up around 6 this morning feeling like I just got hit by a train. My whole body ached and my head still hurts. And my eyes also felt heavy and weird. So I decided to soak in the jacuzzi." He replied, his eyebrows furrowed as he tried to give her his most painful look.
"Aaawww my poor baby.. and how are you feeling now?" She asked as she put the palm of her hand on his cheek stroking it gently.
"Much better honey." He smiled warmly at her making her smiled back.
"That's great Iubirea mea.. that means we can have round two of what we did yesterday.." she said with a sultry voice and his eyes darkened with desire immediately.
She stood up, shimmied her body out of her nightgown slowly, dropping it to the floor leaving her only in her underpants. He gazed at her in longing as she slowly stripped her underpants off and joined him in the jacuzzi.
"I thought you would be traumatized of having sex for at least a couple of days.." he teased and gave her a side smile as she went down and straddled his legs, putting her arms around his neck.
"With you as my husband? Never.. " she said with a low sultry voice and she leaned closer to him, her heart racing in her chest and butterflies swarming in her stomach. She closed the gap between them and started to kiss him passionately.
"Don't I look scary to you?" he asked, breaking their kiss, his eyes gazed at her curiously.
"Iubirea mea.. you looking bad ass does things to me." She replied with a glint in her eyes and his eyes widened in pleasant surprise.
"I find your cuts and bruises make you look even sexier. It makes you look tough, rough and really masculine. I just want to... kiss.. all.. your.. wounds.. away.. " she said slowly as she planted gentle kisses on each of the bruise and cuts on his face, making him smile.
"Well.. maybe I should get into a fight more often." He teased.
"Oh.. don't you even dare Sebastian Stan! You have no idea the worry that I felt looking at your bloody and bruised face while you were unconscious." She said, her eyes full of worry.
"Actually.. I do know.." he trailed as he looked at her meaningfully and she realized he was talking about the time she was hospitalized with Covid while still being pregnant with their baby.
"Oh.. yeah.. you do. That means you know I mean it when I say don't even think of getting into a fight again.. unless it's fake fight for a movie." She winked making him laugh.
"Oh honey, what did I do to deserve you?" he asked as he gazed at her lovingly, his hands pulled her even closer to him by her waist.
"Nothing Iubirea mea.. just by being you.." she smiled at him with love and adoration in her eyes. He smiled wide and kissed her lips gently and she could feel the love he felt for her, the kind of love that she also had for him, a love that she was sure would stood the test of time.
Finally.. after several days of literally being in honeymoon hell they could enjoy being together in their honeymoon, doing what couples normally do on honeymoons and just enjoy being newly married. They made love again that morning with so much passion and desire. She felt it was probably one of the best lovemaking they ever had. Being apart from each other for months and then experiencing all the stressful events truly made her feel somewhat desperate. And she channeled it all in their lovemaking that morning, releasing all the pent up negative energy she had since their wedding day and transmuting it into a perfect expression of the love and lust she always felt for him.
"I love you so much Y/n.. my love.." Sebastian said, looking up at her breathlessly after they reached their climax together.
"I love you so much too Seb.. Iubirea mea.." she said, smiling at him then she gave him a gentle kiss on his lips and put her arms around him tight.
They stayed like that for awhile, arms around each other, him still inside her, every inch of their bodies touching each other, just enjoying becoming one for a moment in time.
Suddenly they could hear the sounds of a baby crying.
"Hmm... Our princess is awake." Sebastian said releasing his hug on her.
"Yeah.. I thought she would have stayed asleep longer." She sighed as she started to get up and got out of the jacuzzi.
"I sense a little disappointment." He stated as he stood up and got out of the jacuzzi as well.
"Well.. yeah.. I was hoping I could enjoy soaking in the jacuzzi too." She said dejectedly as she dried herself off with a towel from a nearby hanger and wrapped herself with it.
"We still have one more night here. Maybe you can soak in the jacuzzi later today or tomorrow morning." He suggested.
"I don't know Seb, our itinerary is kind of full. You know I've made some plans on where to tour today and our schedule is full until tonight. Then tomorrow morning I still have to pack and I was thinking to also go to a convenience store or supermarket to buy some snacks for us before we go to Amsterdam." She said, her eyes filled with distress.
"Honey, you can always make some changes to the itinerary. You're the one making it, so I'm sure you can add some more time to relax today." Sebastian said, walking closer to her and pulled her close to him by her waist.
"I know.. but I don't want to waste time either, we already lost a whole day yesterday so we only have today to see and experience all that Cologne has to offer." She said looking up at him with a slight anxiousness in her eyes.
"Sweetheart, relax.. take a deep breath.. we can always come back here at a later time. We don't have to do everything today." Sebastian said, putting a strand of hair behind her ears and smiled encouragingly at her.
"I know.. but I want to." She sighed and she released herself from his hold as Starlene's cries became louder and walked out of the bathroom with a slump on her shoulders.
Y/n spent weeks planning and making the itinerary for their honeymoon. She chose the accomodation, transportation and deciding on the places to visit and all the activities to do. She even had decided where to have their breakfast, lunch and dinner all throughout their trip. Having her meticulously made plan ruined in the first two days was quite frustrating for her. There was nothing else in the world she would have than to finally have a day where everything goes according to her plans. So, there really was no time to relax that day.
Once she arrived at the crib, she scooped Starlene up from it and cradled her gently. Then she took a seat on one of the sofas in the room and started nursing Starlene. While Starlene nursed, her mind went through all the plans she made for that day and the next.
After breakfast she planned for them to visit Cologne Cathedral, and spend at least an hour there to take some pictures of the outside and the inside of it. Then she planned on going to Hohenzollern bridge located not far from there and take a picture with one of the equestrian statues of Prussian Kings and Emperors located at the ramp of the bridge. She also wanted to look at the love locks adorning the bridge. After that she planned to visit the Ludwig museum located not far from the bridge. After a short visit to the museum she planned on taking a walk around Cologne's historic old town and just enjoy the atmosphere and the iconic colorful houses along the cobbled streets while visiting the many landmarks and churches the city had such as the Great St.Martin Church, The Pixie Fountain which honored the fairytale of The Elves and The Shoemaker, and many others. Then she planned on going back to the street where their hotel was located to have lunch at one of the most famous brewhouse in Cologne, Gaffel am Dom, and maybe try a little sip of Cologne's popular light beer Kölsch. After lunch she planned to visit the Cologne Chocolate Museum and do a guided tour there, then visit The Farina Fragrance Museum and learn the history of perfume making throughout the centuries. Then it was off to the Schildergasse, Cologne's famous shopping district to buy some souvenirs and things for their families and friends back home. Then she planned to go back to the hotel to have a little rest before going out again and taking a cruise along the Rhine river. After that she planned on having dinner at one of the most popular restaurants in Cologne, Gilden im Zims located at Heumarkt which was not far from the hotel before finally finishing their day and go back to the hotel. They didn't have much time the next day as they were going to check out at noon and then started their journey to Amsterdam. So she only planned on going to a nearby supermarket in the morning after she finished packing to buy some drinks and snacks for their trip to Amsterdam.
Just thinking about her plans made her so excited yet exhausted. She wondered if they would be able to do everything she had planned. She really hoped so. She felt they had enough surprises already. She just wanted to feel finally in control of everything.

Gaffel am Dom, Cologne, Germany, May 10th - 11.30 pm
Y/n took a sip of Kölsch, the popular light beer from Cologne and understood immediately why it was a popular beer. She wasn't much of a fan of beers, she preferred champagne and white wine, but the Kölsch tasted good enough for her. Unfortunately she couldn't drink the whole glass because she was still nursing so she only took a sip from Sebastian's glass.
"So, do you like it?" Sebastian asked as he took the glass from her and took a sip himself.
"Yeah I do. I wish I could finish the whole glass." She replied.
"Oh honey, we can always come back here once you've stopped nursing Starlene." Sebastian said, putting the tall beer glass down after drinking more than half a glass.
"Yeah.. you seem to really like it." She teased as her eyes glanced at the beer glass.
"I do actually. I love it." He smiled. Just then a waiter picked up the beer glass and replaced it with a new glass full with the Kölsch without saying a word, surprising him.
"You know I didn't ask for that." He said in confusion.
"Yeah.. it's the custom here that they would exchange the guests' glasses if they see them almost empty with a new one, unless we put a coaster on top of it." She replied.
"Oh okay, that's convenient. It kind of reminds me of that Thor Ragnarok scene where Thor's beer glass kept on refilling itself." Sebastian chuckled as he took another gulp of the beer.
They were just finished doing the morning tour according to her itinerary. Thankfully everything went according to her plan. They managed to visit every place in her itinerary which made her so happy. They took plenty of pictures and really enjoyed becoming tourists in the city. She was also glad they could walk around without anyone noticing who he was. Because of his bruised face, he had put on a large sunglasses, a baseball hat and put on a red hoodie and a bomber jacket so he was almost unrecognizable. She opted to dress like him and she even had a matching hoodie for her and Starlene, making them look literally like a picture perfect family even if they looked slightly cheesy.
Moments after they tasted the beer their orders arrived. Y/n had ordered freshly baked potato fritters with smoked salmon, whole-grain bread and butter while Sebastian ordered roast bratwurst with warm curry sauce and french fries. The food were delicious and they enjoyed every bite. While eating her lunch she also fed Starlene the potato fritters and she was glad that Starlene liked it.
After they finished their lunch they continued on their tour to the next activity which was a visit to Cologne Chocolate Museum. The museum was located about 20 minutes away on foot. It was located at the bank of the Rhine river so they could enjoy walking along the river bank as they headed to the museum.
They were just passing through Ludwig Museum when Starlene started to cry. They stopped in front of the museum and she picked her up from the stroller. As soon as she did, Starlene started showing signs of wanting to nurse. It seemed she was thirsty and sleepy. So Y/n pulled out a baby bottle she had prepared earlier from Starlene's diaper bag and gave it to her. But Starlene didn't want it. She kept putting her hands on Y/n's chest, wanting to nurse.
"Sweetheart, it seems she wants to nurse." Sebastian said as he studied her daughter's behavior.
"I know! But we're in a public place and we're supposed to be on our way to the Chocolate Museum!" She said, exasperated. She tried again giving Starlene her baby bottle but with no avail. Starlene kept on refusing the bottle.
"Honey, maybe she's tired. Why don't we go back to the hotel and get some rest. You can nurse her and let her have a couple of hours of nap. We can continue the tour after that." Sebastian suggested.
"But we have no time, Seb! We still have to visit the Fragrance Museum, the Schildergasse, do the cruise along the Rhine then have dinner at the Gilden im Zims and it's already 12.30pm!" She said, exasperated. Meanwhile Starlene's cries became louder as she heard her mother's frustrated tone of voice.
Sebastian picked Starlene off from her arms and started to rock back and forth, trying to soothe her.
"Ssshhh.. it's okay Starlene dear. There.. there.. Mommy isn't mad at you.. are you mommy?" Sebastian said, giving her a meaningful look and she realized she might have been too harsh.
"No.. mommy isn't mad. I'm sorry Starlene dear." She said slowly as she gazed at her daughter's crying face.
"Alright, let's just go back. Maybe we can just skip the Chocolate Museum. It's not important." She sighed as she picked Starlene off from his arms.
Sebastian smiled and put his arms around her shoulder and gave her temple a gentle kiss.
"You know.. we now find another reason to come back here." He winked at her making her smile.
"Yeah.. maybe we can come back when Starlene is older so she can appreciate visiting the Chocolate Museum more." She smiled.
"That's the spirit." Sebastian smiled and gave them both a tight hug. Then they turned around and went back to the hotel.

Executive Suite, Excelsior Hotel Ernst, Cologne, Germany, May 10th - 12.45 pm
Sebastian opened the door to their suite and stood back, letting his wife and child entered the suite first. After parking Starlene's stroller near the walk-in closet in front of the suite, he went to the living room and found Y/n already sitting on the sofa nursing Starlene. Looking at them warmed his heart. He was so happy that they could finally enjoy being together that day. Even though their visit to the Chocolate Museum was cancelled, he was okay about it.
He approached them and sat next to them. He reached out and held Y/n's free hand and started kissing her knuckles gently. She looked up at him and smiled.
An idea suddenly appeared in his head. Y/n seemed to be really upset that they had to skip the Chocolate Museum visit, maybe they could still visit it but they had to change it with another activity in their itinerary. He thought perhaps instead of going to the Schildergasse they could visit the Chocolate Museum then the Farina Fragrance Museum. They could visit the Schildergasse tomorrow before they check out of the hotel, and then on their way back they could make a quick visit at a convenience store. In fact, he was pretty sure that they could find a convenience store or supermarket at the Schildergasse, seeing how it was a shopping district.
He told Y/n his idea and she was happy about it and agreed to do his idea wholeheartedly.
"Well.. that settles it then." Sebastian said, smiling at her.
"You really are a genius Iubirea mea." She smiled back, making him blush.
"Honey, you know what, I think I have a better idea. Maybe I can visit the Schildergasse and the convenience store now and buy all the things we need for our trip to Amsterdam as well as get souvenirs for our friends and families. Just in case we can't do it tomorrow for whatever reason." He said, staring at her expectantly.
"Hmm.. I want to visit the Schildergasse too Iubirea mea. But I guess your idea makes sense." She replied. He could sense a little disappointment in her voice.
"Oh honey, I'm just saying this in case we can't do it tomorrow. You know." He said, squeezing her hand gently.
"I mean.. if we can.. we can go back to the Schildergasse tomorrow. And since I would have already done the shopping by tomorrow, you can just enjoy shopping for yourself." He continued, winking at her.
"Alright, you can go." She finally said and gave him a small smile.
"Okay. Thank you honey. Let me know what you want me to buy for our trip to Amsterdam tomorrow and what things you want to buy for our friends and families back home." He said as he whipped his cellphone out to write down a shopping list.
-----
Schildergasse, Cologne, Germany, May 10th - 2 pm
Schildergasse is a pedestrian only street consisting of retail stores along the street. It stretches for about 500 meters from the Hohe Straße at its eastern end to the Neumarkt at the western end. It is one of the busiest shopping street in Europe. Many global brands such as Zara, H&M and Uniqlo opened their stores there. But it also consisted of European brand stores and department stores such as Galeria Kaufhof and HEMA.
Sebastian walked along the crowded shopping street and looked around. He had stopped by earlier at a supermarket and a souvenir store. He basically had bought everything Y/n had asked him to. So he decided to look around to buy something for Y/n and himself. But somehow he wasn't too interested looking at all the stores there. Most of the stores were of global brands he could also find back in the US. So he decided to return to the hotel.
As he walked back to the hotel he passed a crowded bakery called Merzenich. The logo was really eye catching with yellow lettering and brown background. But it was the bakery products displayed at the bakery's large glass display that caught his eyes. Rows and rows of different types of bakery products could be seen. Most were put inside the glass display but there were some pretzels hanging on top of the glass display from the ceiling, making everyone who passed by curious on how they would taste. Sebastian was intrigued so he decided to stop by and get some pretzels for Y/n and himself. He knew he ought to minimize his intake of simple carbs, but he was on his honeymoon! Surely he could make an exception. However, he still made a mental note to do additional runs and exercises once the honeymoon was over. After all, he did need to stay in shape to play Bucky in The Thunderbolts next month.
The nougat pretzel seemed to be the one people bought the most, Sebastian thought as he stood in line and studied what the people in front of him bought. So he decided to get the same pretzel. It was a chocolate covered pretzel topped with sliced almonds. He was also interested in the doughnuts. So he ended up buying two nougat pretzels and two strawberry jam filled doughnuts.
He was just finished paying for his order and put his wallet in his jacket, then he turned around to go back to the hotel when his cellphone buzzed in his pocket. He stopped at the side of the street and pulled his cellphone out. It was Michelle, one of his agents that was calling. He wondered what was going on. He had specifically asked not to be bothered for work related things during his honeymoon unless it was very important. He was already bothered once by Christie back at the Schloss Drachenburg and the result of that was disastrous, despite the good news Christie had relayed to him. So he hoped this work call wouldn't end up being disastrous for him too.
"Hello." He finally picked up the call.
"Hi Sebastian. I'm really sorry to bother you. I know you asked not to be bothered. But this is very important and urgent." Michelle said. She sounded so nervous.
"Hey Michelle. It's okay. I understand. So.. what's going on?" He asked, feeling a little dread in his stomach. Whatever it was, he hoped it was good news and not bad news.
"So, you know how much you want to play Ric Flair in a biopic?" Michelle asked, referring to a famous professional wrestler.
"Uh huh.." Sebastian responded, feeling slightly more positive as he heard Michelle's opening sentence.
"Well.. weeks ago I heard rumors that Steven Spielberg is gonna do it. So, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but I tracked his agent and well.. told him you would be interested if Steven really is doing it. And just this morning I got news that he really is doing it and that he wants to talk to you about it." Michelle said.
"Oh my God! Really?! That's amazing Michelle! Great job!" Sebastian exclaimed loudly, a big smile spread on his face.
"Thank you. The thing is, Steven is a very busy man and he had requested to talk to you today along with the producers in.. about an hour. He is filming a movie now and don't have much time. So.. can you do it?" Michelle asked.
"Oh.. in an hour?" Sebastian asked, glancing at his watch. It was already 2.15 pm. He already promised Y/n that they would go to the Fragrance Museum and Chocolate Museum. If he did the meeting with Steven, they wouldn't be able to visit those museums. She could get really upset. Not to mention that he had been disappointing her so much the past couple of days. He really hated to disappoint her again. But.. this was Steven Spielberg! And playing as Ric Flair had been a dream of his for so long. Y/n surely would understand that. Yes, she was one of the most patient and understanding person he ever knew. It was one of her qualities that he loved about her. So.. he was sure she would understand. But he would buy her those nice looking cakes at the hotel's bakery to hopefully make her less disappointed.
"Yeah, okay. I can talk to them in an hour." He said as he continued walking back towards the hotel.
He was so focused on the call as he listened to Michelle explaining the technicalities of the meeting that he bumped into a young man walking from the opposite direction.
"Hoppla.. Es tut mir leid."
("Ooops.. I'm sorry.")
The young man said, apologizing to him in German.
Once he arrived at the hotel he went straight to the bakery on the ground floor and bought two of the prettiest cakes on display. He also bought a box of macarons. He knew Y/n loved desserts and sweets and he hoped she wouldn't be too angry at him for cancelling their trip to the Chocolate Museum and Fragrance Museum.
"Es ist okay."
("It's okay.") Sebastian answered, nodding at the young man. The man nodded back at him and they continued on their respective journeys.
"Y/n.. sweetheart..I'm back!" He called out as he entered their suite.
"We're in the bedroom, Iubirea mea!" Y/n replied.
When Sebastian entered the bedroom Y/n and Starlene were sitting on the bed. They were playing one of Starlene's baby toys, the mock cellphone toy that could make some music and sounds when the buttons were pushed. Starlene giggled as Y/n pushed a button and the toy let out a duck sound. Looking at them warmed his heart. He sighed as he prepared himself to break the news to Y/n.
"Hi sweetheart, my little star." He greeted them, giving them both his brightest smile while putting down all his shopping bags on a coffee table nearby.
"Wow! It seems you got everything?" Y/n commented as she stood up and walked towards him.
"I did! I got everything you asked and a little bit more." He winked at her.
He then showed her the nougat pretzels and doughnuts he bought as well as the pretty cakes and the box of macarons.
"These look delicious, Iubirea mea." Y/n smiled as she studied the bakery products he bought for her.
"Thank you." She smiled as she picked a piece of macaron and started eating it.
"Here, sit down next to me sweetheart." Sebastian said as he sat down on the sofa by the coffee table and patted the empty seat next to him.
She approached him and sat down while finishing the piece of macaron she had picked up earlier.
"Is it good?" He asked, turning his body towards her.
"Yeah.. it's good. Here.. why don't you try one." she said as she picked up another piece of macaron and fed it to him.
"Mmm.. it is good." Sebastian smiled after swallowing the piece of macaron.
"Right?" She smiled and fed him the rest of the macarons. Being fed by her made him think back to when they fed each other the blood orange pana cotta they shared during their first date. It felt just like yesterday, and now here they were, married and having a child together. How time flew by so fast, he thought.
"I love you, honey." He said and put his palm on the side of her cheek as he stared her with love and adoration.
"I love you too, Iubirea mea." She looked up at him and smiled warmly. Making his heart skipped a beat. He leaned in closer to her and gently kissed her lips, and just like that his world seemed to be perfect. He tried to focus on the feel of kissing her, how it was the most perfect thing in the world but his heart raced so fast as he tried to think of ways to tell her about the meeting he was going to do with Steven Spielberg in less than an hour.
"Sweetheart, I'm sorry.." he finally broke the kiss, startling her.
"What is it, Iubirea mea?" She asked curiously.
"Ummm.. do you know how I really want to play as Ric Flair in a biopic one day?" He asked as he reached out and held both her hands tight in his.
"Yeah. What about it?" She asked.
"Well.. Michelle called me earlier and she told me that Steven Spielberg is going to make the biopic and that he wants to talk to me about it." Sebastian said quickly.
"Oh wow! That's amazing! He wants you to play Ric in his movie?" She asked.
"Yeah, it sounds like it." He smiled as he started to rub circles on her hand with his thumb.
"That's amazing Iubirea mea! I'm so proud of you." She smiled wide and gave him a tight hug.
"Thank you honey. The thing is.. Steven wants to talk to me about it.. in an hour.. " he said slowly as he released himself from her hug.
Her eyes immediately showed disappointment as she listened to what he had to say.
"In an hour? Does that mean you're cancelling our trip to the Chocolate Museum and Fragrance Museum?" She asked, looking up at him with her eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm sorry honey. Steven is a very busy guy. He's filming a movie now and he doesn't have much time. I have no choice." He said as he put his hands on the sides of her arms and rubbed them. He then gave her his usual puppy dog eyes, hoping she wouldn't be too mad at him. He gazed at her as different emotions flickered in her eyes. He could see disappointment, anger, sadness, frustration but after a while he could see a certain calmness in her eyes.
"Iubirea mea.. I'm actually kind of disappointed. I mean.. I really really wanted to have a perfect honeymoon, visiting and doing everything I have planned for us. But I guess, that's not gonna happen." She laughed but he could see her eyes watered a little and it broke his heart.
"I'm sorry sweetheart. I know I've disappointed you a lot for the past couple of days. But.. this is important for me. I'm sure you understand that. You can still go the Chocolate Museum and Fragrance Museum with Starlene. Once the meeting with Steven is done I'll catch up with you and we can go do the Rhine river cruise." He said, trying his hardest to persuade her.
Y/n stayed quiet and looked up at him. Her eyes filled with conflict.
"Sweetheart, I promise I'll make it up to you. No more work related stuff after this. I will focus solely on you and Starlene and our honeymoon." He pleaded.
"Yeah.. until the Cannes Film Festival that is.. where you'll definitely leave us alone." She said dejectedly, crossing her arms in front of her as she stared at him in annoyance.
"Oh.. right. Yeah." He said, his head hung.
"I'm sorry sweetheart. I really am. But.. you know what you're getting into when you got into a relationship with me." He said, staring at her, hoping she would understand like he thought she would.
"But I didn't think that you're incapable of leaving your job for just two weeks, Seb! Just two weeks! All I want is for you to just focus on me and Starlene for two weeks! That's it! How hard could that be?!" She protested as she stood up and walked away from him.
"Sweetheart! I'm sorry!" He said. He stood up, walked towards her and stood in front of her.
"I have no say in this, I mean.. I can't always control when people are able to meet and talk with me especially someone like Steven Spielberg. If I ask for a reschedule they would think I'm not that interested. And by the time I'm available to talk to them again in two weeks they might already moved on and pick someone else to play Ric! And as for the Cannes Film Festival, you know how important the movie is for me. And I can't control when they're going to have it obviously." He said, trying desperately to make her understand. But she just stood there, staring at him with anger in her eyes.
"Sweetheart, please. The meeting won't last long. Maybe I can even catch up with you at the Fragrance Museum." He said as he walked closer to her and put his hands on the sides of her arms.
After what felt like forever, she finally sighed and her eyes softened as they continued to stare at each other.
"Fine. You can do the meeting. I'll just go the the Chocolate Museum and Fragrance Museum with Starlene. Then once you're done you can catch up with us and we'll do the Rhine river cruise." She finally said dejectedly.
Sebastian's eyes filled with relief and he smiled wide as he pulled her in and hugged her tight.
"Thank you so much, sweetheart. You really are the nicest, kindest, most understanding wife in the world. I don't know what I did to deserve you." He said as he released her, put both his hands on the sides of her face and gazed at her with so much love and respect.
She looked up at him and smiled. He could see no more trace of anger in her face and he was so glad about it. He leaned closer to her and gently kissed her again. Pouring all of his love into the kiss.
"I love you so much Y/n my love." He said, breaking the kiss.
"I love you too Iubirea mea." She smiled shyly.
He was so happy and ecstatic. Truly, no one else could understand him but her. He vowed he would never let her go. She was like water and air to him. Without her he wouldn't have survived. No other woman compared to her.

Farina Fragrance Museum, Cologne, Germany, May 10th - 6pm
Y/n gave some hundred euro bills to the cashier behind the counter to pay for the broken bottle of cologne Starlene had broken moments before. She didn't know how it happened. Starlene was strapped in her stroller. Yet, she was able to reach out to grab a bottle of cologne from a rack full of fragrances and other souvenirs from the museum and dropped it to the floor, surprising everyone in the room. After apologizing frantically to the staff at the museum, she decided to buy some more cologne for herself and Sebastian in addition to paying for the broken bottle.
"Vielen Dank. Und es tut mir wieder leid, was passiert ist."
("Thank you very much. and I'm sorry again about what happened.")
Y/n said as she accepted the shopping bag filled with her purchase from the cashier behind the counter.
She then turned around, hung her purchases on one of the handle of Starlene's stroller and walked out of the museum, pushing Starlene in her stroller.
"Es ist in Ordnung, Madam. Vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch im Duftmuseum Farina."
("It's alright ma'am. thank you for visiting the Farina Fragrance Museum.")
The cashier smiled at her and she smiled back.
They had visited the Chocolate Museum earlier and she really enjoyed it. Starlene couldn't understand yet about chocolates but she seemed to enjoy sitting in her stroller and looking at the sights. Thankfully there were no incidents at the Chocolate Museum. There was a nice cafe at the museum that she wished she could visit. But seeing how they were pressed for time, she didn't get the chance to visit it. She made a mental note to ask Sebastian to visit it again sometime in the future. Sebastian loved chocolate, so she was sure he would enjoy visiting the museum.
She stopped outside the Fragrance museum and pulled out her cellphone intending to call Sebastian. They were supposed to go to the pier where the Rhine river cruise was going to start from but he had not showed up yet.
She dialled his number but he didn't pick up. Feeling annoyed, she texted him and asked him where he was. Suddenly someone put their hands on her eyes from behind her back, making her unable to see. She screamed and elbowed the person hard on their stomach, making the person released his hold on her eyes and let out a familiar yelp.
"Ouch!" Sebastian put his hands on his stomach as Y/n elbowed his stomach.
"Seb!" She yelled in surprise.
"Hi.. honey." She looked up at him and grimaced.
"Guess we're even now huh?" He said, referring to what happened at the jacuzzi earlier that morning as he slowly straightened his body up.
"Well yeah.. seems you got it worse than me though. Sorry." She chuckled.
"It's okay sweetheart.. it doesn't really hurt anymore anyway." He smiled and pulled her closer to him and hugged her.
"So.. how was the meeting with Steven?" She asked, releasing herself from his hug.
"It was amazing, sweetheart! I talked to the producers too and I got to do some of my impressions on Ric. I also pitched them my idea on how I wanted to portray him in the movie. They seemed to be really impressed. So.. they gave me the role." Sebastian smiled wide.
"Oh my God! That's incredible Iubirea mea! I'm so happy for you!" She squealed and hugged him tight.
"Thank you, honey. And thank you so much for allowing me to do the meeting." Sebastian said as he released himself from her hug and kissed her forehead gently.
"You're welcome Iubirea mea." She smiled, looking up at him proudly.
"So, shall we go to the pier now?" Sebastian asked.
"Yeah, come on! The cruise starts in about an hour." She said, glancing at her watch.
The Rhine river cruise proved to be a really nice cruise where they were able to see all the sights along the Rhine riverbank, including the unique Kranhaus or Crane House which were three 17 story buildings with an upside down L shape which housed offices and luxury apartments. They took plenty of pictures with it as a background as well as with other Cologne's famous landmarks behind them. The cruise also offered drinks and cakes and they enjoyed drinking Kölsch, coffee and tasted the cakes available on board.
After one and a half hours, the cruise was finished and they headed back towards old town Cologne, to the Gilden im Zims restaurant at the Heumarkt. Unfortunately when they got there the restaurant was full and they couldn't find a seat. Starlene was already cranky and hungry so they decided to go back to the hotel and just eat at the restaurant available at the hotel.
Out of the two restaurants at the hotel they decided to have dinner at Taku restaurant. It was a Michelin star East Asian fine dining restaurant. Granted, they were not in Asia, but they were feeling a bit adventurous and wanted to try something new. Sebastian also wanted to celebrate the role he just scored as Ric Flair. So he decided to splurge and they ordered a seven course meal. Despite the small portions, all the food were really tasty and delicious and were really beautifully plated. Y/n took a picture of each dish before she ate them. The head chef Mirko Gaul really put his heart and passion in all the food and they could be seen in the way he artfully plated the dishes.
After an enjoyable dinner, they went back to their room and rested as they prepared for the next day. She laid down on the comfortable bed after she successfully put Starlene to sleep. Her head rested on the soft and comfortable pillow and she stared at the ceiling. Her mind wandered back to all the events happening that day. She realized that she could only plan but she couldn't control what will happen in the end. She had a family now. She wasn't alone anymore. She had a husband that had his own wishes and desires. A baby that also had her own wishes. She couldn't control both of them. It would be exhausting if she tried. So she decided to just go with the flow. Yes, she did make their honeymoon plan. And she would be very happy if they could do all that she had planned. But she would try to be more flexible. The most important thing was that they were all healthy and they were all together. She should just focus on that and stop worrying about the small things.
"Sweetheart, what's in that mind of yours?" Sebastian asked as he turned to face her. He seemed to notice that she was being unusual. She usually put her arms around him whenever they went to sleep but not that night.
"I was just thinking about what happened today. How my plan basically went out the window." She sighed.
"Not all of them though, honey. I mean.. didn't we manage to visit and do like 85-90% of what's on your itinerary?" He asked as he reached out to brush a strand of hair out of the side of her face and tucked it behind her ear.
"Well.. yeah. You're right. I was just reflecting on how I should be more flexible and relaxed about the whole thing. And not be too disappointed if things don't go my way." She said, turning to face him.
"That's good, honey. I'm sorry if I contributed to the way today didn't end up the way you want it. But.. like I said, I promise I will focus on you and Starlene for the rest of the honeymoon." he said, stroking her cheek gently.
"Except when you have to go to Cannes Film Festival." She said, raising her eyebrows.
"Well.. yes. Except for that." He sighed.
"Okay." She said and he smiled at her.
"Thank you again for being so understanding, honey. I love you so much." He said and he leaned in closer to kiss her.
"I love you too Iubirea mea." She said as she broke the kiss and smiled at him.
He smiled and kissed her again. Soon their kisses became more passionate and they ended up doing round three of what they did before. Despite the tiring day, she was still able to enjoy their lovemaking that night. They were on their honeymoon anyway. Lovemaking was inevitable. And after the surprising events happening in the first two days of their honeymoon, it was only natural if they wanted to make up for it by doing it as often as they could.
After their lovemaking was done that night, she laid down on the bed with Sebastian's arms around her and slowly drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face. Whatever happens the next day, she was ready. As long as she had Sebastian with her, she was sure she could handle anything that came their way.

Executive Suite, Excelsior Hotel Ernst, Cologne, Germany, May 11th - 11.00 am
Y/n opened the door to their suite and entered the bedroom. Her jaw dropped as she saw the scene in front of her. The bedroom was in a mess. Suitcases were lying on the floor and all of them were opened. Clothes were strewn all over the floor. All of their bags were scattered on the floor and all of them were opened. Sebastian was sitting on the bed, opening the drawers of the nightstand next to the bed and cursed under his breath as it seemed he couldn't find what he was looking for in the drawers.
She just returned from Schildergasse that morning with Starlene, doing a little shopping for herself. Sebastian didn't want to come saying that his body still ached and his head hurt and he wanted to sleep longer. Seeing how he was supposed to drive again that day, she let him sleep in longer, hoping he would feel better by the time she was back. But she was shocked to find him in such a messy state.
"Seb! What the h**l is going on?!" she asked as she approached him and sat next to him.
"I can't find my wallet!" Sebastian exclaimed out loud, throwing his hands in the air in frustration.
"What?! When was the last time you saw it?" she asked as she put Starlene down on the bed.
"I.. I think at Schildergasse.. after I paid for the pretzels and doughnuts." he said.
"Wait.. where did you buy the cakes and macarons?" Y/n asked.
"At the hotel's bakery. I just asked the cashier to charge them to the room. So I didn't take my wallet out. And then for the cruise.. you arranged and paid for it so I also didn't get my wallet out. And then at Taku I asked them to charge our dinner to the room as well. So yeah. I saw it last at Schildergasse." Sebastian said.
"Well.. do you remember anything unusual happening at Schildergasse after you paid for the pretzels and doughnuts?" she asked.
"After I paid I accepted Michelle's call and then started to walk towards the hotel and then.. Oh my God.. " Sebastian said as the realization dawned in him.
"What? What is it, Seb?" she asked, her stomach churned unpleasantly.
"I bumped to this young man as I walked towards the hotel. My wallet was inside my jacket pocket. I think that young man took my wallet!" Sebastian exclaimed out loud as he put both his hands on the sides of his head in frustration.
"What?! Oh no!" she exclaimed. There it was again, another unpleasant event was happening to them. She really wondered what they did to deserve bad luck after bad luck. Maybe she really shouldn't have kissed him back at the Pleasantdale Chateau. Seeing him right before the wedding really brought them bad luck.
"How much money did you have in there?" she asked.
"I think I had about 5 thousand euros." he said dejectedly.
"Oh no.." she said, her face fell.
"I'm sorry honey. God! How could this happen?!" he protested.
"Seb, check your bank account. See whether your credit or debit cards have been used." she said with a calm voice. Sebastian seemed to be really shocked. She needed to be calm and have a level head to help him deal with it.
"Okay, okay." he said and he picked up his cellphone from the nightstand and started accessing his banking account from a mobile app.
Thankfully his debit and credit cards had not been used. But he needed to block them so whoever took his wallet couldn't use it. After he blocked his cards so they couldn't be used Y/n advised him to search on the internet on what to do next. Seeing that they were in a foreign country, she wasn't sure what to do. His driver's license was gone but his passport was thankfully safe as he kept it somewhere else. After Sebastian searched the internet, he found that he needed to file a report to the local police station. The report would be used so he could make a temporary driver's license so he could still continue to drive.
Because they only had an hour before the check out time and their things still had not been packed, Sebastian decided to file a police report by himself while Y/n did the packing. Thankfully there was a police station nearby so Sebastian didn't need to go too far. After he was done filing the police report, he applied to get a temporary driver's license by accessing New York's DMV website and thankfully he could get it with no problem.
Miraculously they were still able to check out at noon following the rules of the hotel. Because Sebastian lost his credit and debit cards, they ended up paying the hotel using Y/n's credit card. But he would of course pay her bills in the end. He wouldn't let her pay for them even though Y/n didn't mind.
"I'm the husband, the breadwinner of the family so I should pay for any of our family's expenses." Sebastian had insisted when Y/n stated that she didn't mind paying for the hotel. His words made her heart swell with love for him. She really was glad to have such a responsible husband.
After checking out and they had loaded all their luggages into the Fiat 500, they got into the car and started their journey to Amsterdam. They were all seated and ready to go but suddenly Sebastian pinched the bridge of his nose and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Iubirea mea, are you okay?" she asked in concern.
"I'm fine honey. Ever since I was attacked back at Euskirchen I still sometimes feel a headache. But they usually go away on their own." Sebastian said as he lowered his hand.
"Iubirea mea, if you don't feel like driving we can just take the train to Amsterdam." she suggested.
"No, it's okay honey. I can drive. I mean.. Amsterdam is just about 2-3 hours away, right?" he asked.
"Yeah, it is." she replied.
"It's okay. I can do it." Sebastian said.
"Well okay, if you're sure." she responded.
"Yeah, don't worry sweetheart. It's now gone anyway, the headache." he turned to her and smiled.
"Alright. Anytime you feel unwell, just let me know and we can stop and get some rest. Okay?" she said.
"Yeah of course, sweetheart." he smiled and picked her hand up and kissed it, making her blush.
"Ready for another adventure, sweetheart?" Sebastian asked as he turned the ignition of the car on, switched the gears and stepped on the gas.
"Of course, Iubirea mea. After what happened to us in the past three days I feel that I'm ready for anything!" she exclaimed and they laughed out loud.
What else could go wrong? She thought as she looked out the window and gazed at the crowded Cologne street outside. They literally had experienced every traveler's nightmare and came out.. well.. almost unscathed. Surely, they could face whatever else that would happen during the rest of their trip. She thought as their car moved out of Cologne's downtown and started to move towards Amsterdam.
-----
Somewhere around Utrecht, The Netherlands, May 11 - 2.00 pm
"The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round.. all through the town.." Elmo sang on the screen of an Ipad Y/n had given to Starlene earlier.
Starlene had become restless about an hour into their journey. She started to get cranky so Y/n gave her the Ipad to make her occupied. She had been watching the same singing Elmo video for an hour straight, it had started to get to Sebastian's nerves. Not to mention that he started to feel the headache again.
"Honey, could you make her stop watching that video, please. I'm having a headache listening to it over and over again." Sebastian complained.
"Okay, sorry. Here Starlene dear, let's watch something else okay?" Y/n said as she turned to face Starlene and picked the Ipad off her hands.
Starlene started to cry as soon as the Ipad was off her hands and she screamed bloody murder, making Sebastian head throbbed in pain. He needed to rest. They almost arrived at Amsterdam but he just couldn't take it anymore.
"There.. there Starlene. Look! There's Bluey. You like her don't you?" Y/n said as she played another video on the Ipad and gave it back to Starlene. Thankfully Starlene was happy about her mother's new video choice and she stopped screaming and watched the video happily.
"Honey, do you mind helping me find somewhere to rest around here? I'm having such a bad headache. I need to stop." He said, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Alright." Y/n said and she started navigating the satnav.
"Seb, unfortunately there's no rest stop around here. But we can take the next exit and got out at a small town nearby. There's a supermarket there. We can stop there and have some rest." Y/n suggested.
"Okay. Let's go there then." Sebastian said and Y/n set the satnav to guide them there.
They got out at the exit Y/n suggested and found themselves driving on a road with nothing but green fields on either side of the road. Everywhere they looked they could only see endless green pastures.
"Honey, are you sure this is the right exit?" Sebastian asked, looking around them.
"Yeah, just go on straight ahead. There should be a small town up ahead and that's where the supermarket is." she replied confidently.
"Okay then." Sebastian nodded and he continued to drive.
Sebastian's head continued to throb painfully as he drove. Meanwhile Starlene had started to cry again. It seemed she found something upsetting on the video she was watching.
"Starlene.. what is it?" Y/n asked and she turned her head around to try to soothe her cries. She picked the Ipad from Starlene's hand and started to find another video for her to watch.
"Maybe she wants to watch that Elmo video again." Sebastian commented, glancing at the Ipad.
He didn't know how it happened, but one second he was watching the Ipad screen as Y/n browsed for video options and the next second he felt the car bumped into something and he could hear the sound of something like.. a cow(?!).
"Seb! What was that?!" Y/n screamed out loud.
Sebastian stopped the car immediately and glanced at the rearview mirror. He could make out something like a cow lying on the road.
"Seb! You hit a f*****g cow!" Y/n exclaimed out loud as she turned around and also saw the cow right behind their car.
Of all the things that could happen to them, this was one thing that he never expected to happen to them, ever! He sighed as he opened the car door and braced himself for whatever happens next.
