Geronimo Stilton Spider-Ben AU

Okay, so in this AU Benjamin got bit by the same radioactive spider and becomes Spider-Mouse, and fights crime.

So he swings about New Mouse City everyday after school and still works in the Rodent's Gazette

Supplies the pictures for Spider-Mouse with Bugsy-Wugsy who knows his identity

Sally Ratenmouse acts like J. Jonah Jameson and calls him a menace and William Shortpaws actually agrees with her which annoys Benjamin and everyone in the office.

He also gets help from Professor Von Volt in making the web-shooters and slingers

He hides his suit under his bed which he makes up excuses for Aunt Sweetfur not to check ("Trust me, it's bad for your back!")

Keeps a web-shooter on him at all times in case of emergency, danger or wants someone to shut up.

Sometimes he has the urge to web Trap's mouth shut but he can't do it

When he met his Uncle Geronimo in Muskrat City while in his superhero outfit, he immediately figured out it was him and started to panic.

Geronimo: You know u remind me of my nephew

Benjamin: (Internally screaming and panicking) Whatttttt

Before the Pirate Cats try to meddle with time he stops them and he kicks their butts easily

OKAY SO the Stilton family is, dare I say it, one big dysfunctional mess :D There are good parts and members of the family who are vibing (see Aunt Sugarfur and her family, who made their debut in The Wedding Crasher), but they are an absolute MESS.

Thea is the crystal clear favorite, Trap is... well, Trap, and WILLIAM SHORTPAWS. Oh BOY. His whole "only I'm allowed to talk smack about him" thing and constant Steven He emotional damage dealt on Geronimo would probably be considered emotional abuse at this point. Actually nah I looked it up and it IS emotional abuse, from the neglect to the verbal abuse to the gaslighting (I SEE YOU WILLIAM PUTTING A LITERAL KID-FRIENDLY SHOCK COLLAR ON G JUST TO MAKE SURE HE'S WORKING AND EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATING HIM TO SELL HIS HOUSE AND BELONGINGS IN MOUSE HOUSE HUNTER). The entire package. Not the best look for the main patriarch of the Stilton family, is it?

AND NOW WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY I've actually been toying around with the idea of a Thea Sisters x Geronimo Stilton book for a while now. Stuff going into the grindstone, maybe I might put out something but so far nothing's stuck besides "what if Violet and Geronimo switched places?" Okay hear me out.

Violet and G have been known to be very similar to each other: shy, introverted bookworms who like classical music, antiquities and history-related things; both of them are planners who prefer not to have things shoved upon them at the last minute; take sleep very seriously; can come off as "lazy" when they have a day off just to relax (Colette even calls Violet "lazy" in one of the Secret Thea Sisters' Diary entries, Italian because Scholastic hASN'T TRANSLATED THEM YET--); AND TO PUT THE CHERRY ON TOP, they love their families, although one is more problematic than the other.

As a pleb who hasn't read the Thea Stilton books, you'd think "hmmm okay, if Vi is that much similar to G, doesn't that just make Violet a genderbent G?"

Well, yes and no. Violet, for one, isn't a doormat. She's inarguably one of if not THE Thea Sister who's thrown the absolute most shade on people she doesn't exactly like (from roasting Colette on multiple occasions albeit from behind her back, to confronting villains like the Three Scottish Assholes (the Golden Grumps and Angus from Old Castle), A PERSON HOLDING THEM HOSTAGE (Dunya from Blue Scarab Hunt), AND a guy who literally had her life or death in his hands (Luke Von Klawitz from the Treasure Seekers). Then there's the time she schooled Enrico Mousetti in Dancing Shadows, and chef's kiss, beautiful, 10/10, would watch her roast the hell out of him again.

Violet is a confrontational person when it counts, and unlike Geronimo, she is not good with people pushing her around like it's nothing (if anything, it's one of her biggest pet peeves).

So I ask again: what if Violet and Geronimo switched places?

How it happens is up for you to headcanon, but what if Violet had to have one of those adventures where either Hercule Poirat, Bruce Hyena, Wild Willie or someone else burst in like "VIOLET HOLY F#^K" and dragged her onto a mission? She wouldn't take it sitting down, I'm sure :]

Was the second question an excuse for me to vomit my brain out for the entire fandom to see? Yes.

Do I regret it? No.

Would I make fanfic about this sort of scenario when an idea more solid than daily brainrot comes to me? Maybe.

Western Geronimo Stilton AU

-Actually, Geronimo is a bookshop owner in this one! He does dream of becoming a writer one day…

-The rest of the Stilton family, however, works on William Shortpaws’ farm

-Thea helps on the farm as a cow herder, and she brings in money by competing in rodeos

-Trap lazes around all day, he runs the stand for the farm, selling their produce

-Benjamin does most of the simple chores on the farm, but he also visits Geronimo’s bookshop (It’s the only place he can get some peace and quiet)

-Bruce is Thea’s rodeo rival, he specializes in handling bulls

-Kornelius, along with his sister, is a lone cowboy, riding the land and searching for folks that might need his help

-Geronimo’s adventure starts when a band of bandits tie him up and ransack his store, looking for a specific book, a book of old tales

-One tale in that book is believed to be true, and leads to a mystical mine, full of all the purest gems and ores you could ever find

-Kornelius and Veronica ride into town, and their attention is caught by Benjamin, who is yelling for someone to help his uncle

-Kornelius and Veronica burst into the store and drive away the bandits, but not before they grabbed the book and a map

-Now Geronimo and Benjamin have to join Kornelius and Veronica on their mission to stop those bandits

What do you imagine a Geronimo Stilton Pirate AU to be like?

The ship’s name would likely be The Rodent’s Voyage lol a little something from its original source

In true fashion, Geronimo is the unwilling captain of a ship lmaoooo but id say that Geronimo is gonna be hella different than usual since he is gonna be raised as a pirate

Pirates in history is known for catching navy ships and looting them so G would be a lot more aggressive compared to his other counterparts which is a saying something lmao

G would have to be really ruthless, strategic and has great fighting skills just to be able to lead a gang of pirates but that doesn’t mean that G has to be like hella rude (tho he has to be hella loud lol)

Which can be in their favour cuz if he can speak the gentleman’s language then he will be able to gain a whole lot of allies despite being a criminal of the sea

But while he is bound by contract on land, that doesn’t mean he is bound by contract at sea because it can be a lot easier to hide crimes at sea cuz many people in the old days are unable to swim (unless you’re a pirate or work on the water)

While Geronimo might be a pirate, he always is true to his promise because for him “a true man keeps his words” which is hella rare for pirates at the time so his crew would definitely be hired for a whole lot of dirty work by corrupted officials that doesn’t care how the work is done as long as it is on the down low and done quickly so he definitely has a lot of favours he can ask to be able to get out of certain situations

Of course G would not be trusting any of his allies with his life nor any of his family’s life so he always carries a weapon on him in case they try anything cuz he might be the only pirate captain working for anyone with money, he is still a pirate so if he gets caught or arrested, he will be shot on the spot

Anyways to the family!

Peepaw would definitely be retired but as he was the previous captain, he would definitely be the boatswain of the ship, essentially he is the manager of everything on the ship so he is always checking in on the ship’s condition, supplies, crew and most importantly Geronimo (the other option for him is that he retires somewhere nice and secluded but that’s boring I need Peepaw screaming at the crew)

Thea is gonna be the Helmsman of the ship as well as being the Sailing Master as she is great with navigation as well as finding new places to check out and loot from plus she is the best fighter of the entire crew, she essentially drives the ship as well as set the crew in the course that she agrees upon with Captain Geronimo

Trap is the cook no explanations needed screw this guy

Fine he is also the Master Gunner, he just maintains the ship’s weapons

Benjamin is most definitely and irrevocably gonna be somewhere else that is not the ship cuz as much as the family would like to be close to the little man, they ultimately will not want him anywhere in harm’s way so they got someone else raising him in a far away but safe location away from the pirate’s enemies cuz they will not take any chances that he would get hurt or worse

I think most of the family’s riches are concealed away from the rest of the world in the safest location and that location would be some type of mansion or villa they built in an extremely secluded but safe location known only by Peepaw, Thea and Geronimo in which there is a secret room where the money is in gold and precious items like gold swords, crowns and the likes (Trap is not to be trusted screw him)

This is also gonna be the place Benjamin will be living in and raised to not be a pirate by Aunt Sweetfur and eventually Professor Von Volt

Prof Volt probs got trusted because he is indebted to Peepaw or something like he grew up poor and he got what it takes for a medical degree and Peepaw pays for it or something and that’s why he is loyal idk

Which can also open up to some kind of storyline that Benjamin is now a grown young man and wants to learn about his family’s history only to figure out that his estranged family members were a bunch of pirates which can be a cool story or something

Do I have my gripes with it? Absolutely

Did I have a great time? Yes fucking yes

Do I wish more of the book characters are there? Yes

Do I wish there is more relaxing Geronimo and Benjamin bonding in the series? Yes I'm desperate as all hell like I might summon demons to do my work

Am i just saying that because I love DadGeronimo™ too much? Haha where did you get that idea?

Do I still want to punt Trap back to the moon? Yes I still want to do that

Do I wish Thea is more an aunt than a big sister? A bit yeah that's more preferable but I like how kick ass she is tho

Do I have many questions about what happened to aunt Josephine? Yes

Do I want answers? No I'll cry she's a sweetie

Do I want to yell back at Shortpaws? Absolutely like I'm still angry at a particular episode oh my lord all mighty

Did my entire soul do a back flip when I first heard Benjamin's voice? Yes but it's accurate to his personality and age so I'll let it slide

Did my entire soul left my body when that particular great grandpa and great grandson bonding episode played? Yes then I remembered it's a kid show so I calmed down soon enough

Is Geronimo much less of a pushover compared to the books? Yes he fights back

Do I wish there are more seasons? Yes oh my god yes with more characters from the books like pls

Do I wish it continued? Yes preferably stopping at 5 seasons

Conclusion? I want more DadGeronimo content
