A cat named Bristlefur joined the clan, however she was quickly taken away quite brutually by a landslide. 

Her kit Windkit was left alone and later trained alongside Shortpaw. 

Windcreek had Larchripple as his mentor. Him and Shortpaw had a rocky relationship as she found his attitude quite annoying and greatly disliked anytime they would end up on patrol together. 

Windcreek often thinks of his mom and misses her, he struggles to develop any kind of friendship in the clan but at least he somewhat gets along with his mentor and the leader of their clan Flickerstar.

The sole kit of Squirrelwhisker an Eaglestorm, the result of a half-clan relationship and born under Oakstar's reign, Windflight was treated incredibly poorly by ThunderClan. The only thing that spared him and his mother from the same fate as Mapleshade was Squirrelwhisker accepting any and all punishments and bowing to Oakstar and the clan like a sniveling kit. Some lie and say Windkit was named to honor his origins and where he came from, but in truth it was a grim reminder he was not a true ThunderClan cat, and he had to wear that half-clan badge constantly.

Things didn't truthfully get better until Doestar came into power, and even then, no apologies ever came. The beatings and harassment stopped, and some felt safe to actually speak to him. Squirrelwhisker had done everything in her power to protect his fluffy, tufted ears. She hid his scratches with careful grooming, Windflight looking like a cat no one ever would guess was beaten on as a mere kitten.

Squirrelwhisker looked awful though. Despite being Oakstar's own niece, she had her beautiful ears shredded, her fluffy pelt, patchy and worn. She smiled, eyes bright and glittering for her beloved son, but Windflight hated she felt like she had to do that. He wanted, more than anything, for his mother to be able to cry.

In time he too learned to pretend. He'd smile and joke, all while masking a bitterness towards the cats he called clanmates. He loved his mother, and that was it.

Well, that wasn't entirely true. See Windflight had one friend - a loner named Reina. She didn't know his history, didn't see a reason to judge someone's parentage, and approached him with no judgement in her gaze. He met her quietly in the evenings - Oakstar often having banished him to fend for himself during the dead of night. With Doestar's leadership came ambivalence, and with ambivalene gave some reassurance. Windflight considered simply leaving with Reina, but he could not abandon his mother - not ever.

Reina joined ThunderClan, and took the name Rainfur. She mothered two kits with Windflight - Dapplekit and Thrushkit. Rainfur, being one to never care where someone came from, took in Harepounce's kits to nurse alongside her own. A selfless act that was celebrated soon led to tragedy. The pressure was too much on Rainfur's body, and the shortage of prey led to the she-cat becoming weak. She would die while Dapplekit and Thrushkit still sat at her belly, and Windflight's world was snatched away.

Older cats whispered of the kits being cursed. After all, their mother was a loner, and their father was half-clan. They wouldn't make it far. Those innocent wriggling bundles that he created, that he was supposed to love... he didn't. Windflight hated this clan, hated the kits were born, and hated that Reina was gone. She would never be Rainfur. She would always be Reina to him - before this clan asked things of her when they would've spat in her face if she ever asked in turn.

He merely existed, going about life in stride. After Squirrelwhisker passed in the elder's den, there was little he saw drive for. He took each day as it came, one by one, pretending and smiling, but his smile never reaching his eyes. His kits would grow, looking up at him with pride, and his answers back to them were hollow. As they grew older, they saw it, more and more. Dappletail noticed he never aked how they were, or came to them first. How Windflight never called them his kits, merely by their names at all times. Thrushpelt saw how he didn't offer praise until someone else did so first, mimicking and following along. Windflight was an empty shell, whose expression was emotionless and hollow when no one was around.

"Why don't you just leave?" Thrushpelt would eventually ask. "Why father Poppydawn's kits? Why pretend as if you care?" If he didn't have anyone he loved, if he didn't care about his litters, if he didn't care about Poppydawn now, who looked up at him with so much adoration, why did he stay? Why did he not become the very loner Reina was, the one he did love?

And in truth, Windflight had no answer.

Because he had always been in ThunderClan. He had always been in the very place he hated. He stewed in despair, but never tried to make change.

Windflight was a coward.

Story:

If Downstar had planted the seeds of poison in Darkclan, it was Smokestar who truly cared for them.

He had been the mate of the bloodthirsty first leader, and her philosophy had infected him. But he took things further.

He had just completed his first sacrifice when he saw a litter of kits playing nearby, and got a truly inspired idea. If apprentices, warriors, and elders every ten moons would give him power, then what would a red kit every two moons give him?

He decided to find out.

From that day on, parents of Darkclan lived in fear, praying to the Dark Forest to save their kits, praying that their kits wouldn’t be born red.

Some cats tried to get rid of Smokestar by poisoning him, but that only took away three of his lives.

Nursing queens covered the ginger patches of their kittens with mud or ash in an attempt to fool the leader, but this only worked for one, whose mother faithfully covered her with ash every day, until her warrior ceremony. It was after this that he truly lost his mind.

He moved from the warriors’ den to the nursery, staring at expectant mothers as they got ready to kit. He also continued sacrificing warriors and apprentices to the Dark Forest, getting bolder with age. In his greatly advanced age, much to his despair, he began to lose lives simply from his body failing him. Panicking, he began to make more regular sacrifices, desperate not to lose any power.

Ultimately though, he could not win the battle against age.

After sneaking out of camp, Gorsepaw is kidnapped by twolegs. The Clan searches for her, but is unable to find her.

A rogue brings her kit named Lizard to the Clan, stating she can no longer care for her.

Pumpkintail has announced she is expecting kits.

Silkpaw is apprenticed to Robinchaser. Meanwhile, Hyacinthpaw decides hunting and fighting isn’t the way to provide for the Clan. He decides to become a medicine cat, and Patchbriar proudly becomes his mentor.

Greenleaf

Pinepeak announced she is expecting kits.

Lizardpaw is apprenticed to Saplingwhisper as the Clan’s future mediator.

In the nursery, Pumpkintail and Mossheart welcome a litter of three kittens. They name them Aphidkit (male), Leafkit (male), and Windkit (female).

Ospreywing, Nettleclaw, and Burrheart receive their warrior names. However, they cannot enjoy the occasion as their sister Gorsepaw is not there to earn it with them. In a sort of posthumous ceremony, Stonestar names Gorsepaw Gorsetuft, hoping she will one day return to them.

For many moons, Cherrythorn has continuously been seen meeting with a cat outside of the Clan. No one can tell whether it’s a Clan cat or someone else, but those who see him continue to hide it.

Lizardpaw is named Lizardtail, the Clan’s newest mediator.

Flamedance and Sapsplash have confessed their feelings for each other and become mates.

After catching a sickness, Gorsetuft dies in her sleep. Although worried she won’t reach StarClan even so far away, she sees starry cats on the other side and is welcomed into StarClan. Although she knows she won’t see her family for what will hopefully be a long time, she knows she will be there waiting.

Aphidpaw, Leafpaw, and Windpaw are apprenticed to Sleetstripe, Sapsplash, and Strikewhisker respectively.

In the nursery, Hazelshine and Sharpleaf welcome a litter of two kits. They name them Frostkit (female) and Spicekit (male).

1. mudpatch

mudpatch sired icepoppy's first litter, wildfrost and coldnose. he was exiled for mistreating his apprentice- making him train with claws out, etc.

2. snowheart

snowheart didn't sire any children, and their relationship didn't last very long. he was exiled for killing a clan member.

3. stagclaw

stagclaw is mousepaw's dad! he was icepoppy's third husband, and the father of her second litter- mousepaw, thrushpaw, and frogkit. he was exiled for killing thrushpaw.

husbands 4 & 5 were not particularly notable; they didn't last long, didn't father any children, and didn't do anything horrendous.

6. losttail

losttail was husband number six, and the father of icepoppy's latest litter, windkit firekit and mistkit. they broke up, and he was killed by a badger not much longer afterwards.
