haiiiiiii, i was wondering if i could request a winged fox board or a raccoon board? maybe with darker colors instead of brighter ones- i awakened just recently and had the whole "whoa, thats whats up with me" moment and im having a hard time figuring out if its both or a constelic fade in and fade out thing or just the one, so a moodboard would be nice

Maedhros (Himring and the March of Maedhros, Northeast Beleriand)

I’ve spoken about snow leopards of the March multiple times and these elusive creatures endear themselves to Maedhros over time. They are, rugged, adaptable and vicious, their beauty stark, utilitarian and violent.

Horses are the primary domestic animal in northeastern Beleriand down to Estolad and some are sired from those brought from Valinor while some were tamed from wild horses in Beleriand. Horses of Eastern Beleriand retain their winter coat for more of the year than their kin and this is especially true of the March. Maedhros grows a strong bond with several of the horses

Personally, I enjoy associating Maedhros with foxes as the name Russandol is related to the word for fox.

Maglor (Maglor’s Gap, Northeast Beleriand, South of the March)

Maglor does not take much inspiration from the songs of animals however he does enjoy their music; songbirds especially larks, crickets and tree frogs in Valinor.

Later on he will grow to dislike songbirds altogether. Their voices feel mocking.

In the Gap, he is amused by the long earred hedgehogs that can be seen in the plains

Celegorm and Curufin (Himlad, East Beleriand, Northeast of Doriath)

During prosperous years horses and hounds are both abundant in Himlad. Wolfhounds and thick coated mountain dogs (similar to St. Bernard’s and Burmese Mountain dogs of today) are favorites of Celegorm

Celegorm is fond of many creatures. Hounds and hunting hawks of course, elk and bears.

He also loves the large monitor like lizards he saw in the warmer areas of Western Beleriand.

Curufin is very fond of his own horse. He likes insects with delicate wings. Lacewings and dragonflies for example. These are not as common in Himlad however

I have some ideas about diversity in dogs and horses of Valinor and Beleriand that are probably best left for another day but in short I think there is selective breeding and some diversity in breeds though nowhere near as much as today here.

Caranthir (Thargelion, Northeast Beleriand, slightly South of the March and the Gap, North of Ossiriand)

Caranthir if asked would frequently say he was not a lover of animals. He does develop a fondness for the wading birds of Lake Helevorn as well as the gray wolves he occasionally sees closer to the montane forests. They do not bother him and in turn he leaves them be.

Amras and Amrod (Estolad, East Beleriand, East of Doriath and West of Thargelion and Ossiriand) Both twins have a love of birds of prey that dates back to their first explorations of hunting in Valinor. Falconry is practiced among them and their people. Golden eagles are most valued for this but are rare. Saker falcons and merlins are more common.

Welcome To The Storm.

i have been procrastinating making one of these for a while now so here you go.

I don't know how people can post their names on here, or their ages. Like what :0 I could not do that. (So if you need to refer to me, you can do so by my username) I do feel comfortable telling you this stuff:

The labels I use to identify my gender identity are genderfluid, nonbinary, transgender, genderflux, xenogender, fluidflux, and specifically genderspirit. At least that's the basics.

When it comes to sexuality/romantic attraction I consider myself frayromantic and neptunic, I am also aceflux.

Circutypes

(circutypes are identitie(s?) similar to the label cladotherian or more so ambitherian, but instead of being exclusive to types of animals is a species, it extends beyond that. The creator @batsbolts-andfangs created it to describe being a bat therian, bat plushiekin and a bat (related?) fictional character. But basically it's a label to describe one nonhuman identity that extends to/ is made up of other nonhuman identities that are a interconnected. This label fits me two times

I probably have undiagnosed anxiety of some kind but have yet to do research on it

I probably have long term depression. But I think ranting to Tumblr is helping a bit so RN I'm more on the emotionally numb side but still depressed I think.

I have associative synesthesia and the types I care to name are olp, grapheme-color and chromesthesia but I know of more things that are probably types with their own names that I have.

I'm a vegetarian (it's funny because a bunch of my kintypes are carnivores or really like eating meat)

I'm a furry and have this going on where I'm turning my animal kin and heartypes into furry OCs and fursonas but I haven't gotten far in it. I'm also questioning being my protogen oc

Before Yae Miko, there was another who had caught the eye of Raiden Ei. Tamamo-no-mae. Using her charms and seduction, she slid her way into the archon's heart and became the kagemusha's lover. However, it was all a farce, for her true goal was to claim Inazuma for herself and set it into ruin. The archon twins eventually saw through her deceptions, and Raiden Ei was forced to slay her lover for the sake of her nation. Before she departed, Tamamo-no-mae left a 'gift' in the form of a child she conceived with another. Despite the atrocities it could bring, when Ei saw the crying kit in the middle of the battlefield, she couldn't bear to point her blade towards it.

Raiden Ei brought the kit to the Narukami Shrine, where it was raised under the care of the diligent shrine maidens. While Ei had reservations of the potential chaos it could bring to Inazuma, Makoto saw it as a beacon of wisdom and truth. She intended to take the kit under her wing and make it her familiar; to have it capture the beauty of what it means to be the Inazuma archon and witness the beauty of transience to share its wisdom with the world. But alas, the Narukami Gongen perished before the kit could become an adult.

In preparation for her eternal meditation, Ei created a puppet shogun to take her place. One of which was a prototype that shed tears in his sleep. In him, she saw something: a remnant, a reminder of her deceased sister. Recalling her sister's wish, Ei left the puppet in a mansion with the kit, in hopes that they could witness transience in the way she as an archon can't, so Makoto's wish could come true.

Of course, it didn't go all according to plan.

The kit happily lived with the doll along with a group of bladesmiths, its bond with the puppet becoming stronger and stronger with each passing day. However, the kit was haunted with nightmares of their former master, lamenting their failure at fulfilling their duty in protecting the Inazuma archon. A scientist by the name of Escher noticed the kit's troubles and gave it a specially procured medicine meant to keep the nightmares away. Not wanting to turn down the scientist's act of kindness, it took the medicine everyday as instructed, not knowing that it was a poison meant to impair and permanently damage one's cognitive abilities with hallucinations and clog it from thinking critically.

After the incident in Tatarasuna and the apparent betrayal of Niwa and Yae Miko, the puppet and fox found a lonely, nameless child. Together, the pair cared for the child, and they became a family. Until one day, while the puppet was out getting food, the fox walked into the sight of the child's lifeless body on the ground. Devastated, the fox collapsed on the ground, crying, wishing that they could just forget their useless existence and life.

Today, an elusive kitsune trails behind the shadow of the balladeer. It doesn't know anything from their past. Who was their kin? What was their childhood like? The only memories they have are of their time as a servant of some lowlife shogunate members who only used the kitsune as a tool for power.

On days where they weren't needed, they were stuffed away in their empty mirror prison; a hellscape where the only thing they could do is hum lullabies they forgot the origins of while contemplating their blank existence. The one who slaughtered those men and saved them was someone known as Kunikuzushi, who held out his hand towards them with a promise:

"Lend me your strength, and I'll keep you safe. I'll eradicate this cruel and unjust world, and bring forth a new era where you'll never have to suffer again."

Today, this kitsune familiar stands beside their master– no, their lover, as he holds their hand, preaching for a world where he would be its god.
