hiii everyone! just wanted to preemptively update you all that chapter 5 will probably be a couple of days late 😔✌️ i’m moving out of my current place next weekend so packing + the woes of a 40 hour work week and commute + a shorter than usual turnaround period between chapters 4 and 5 have made it a bit slower going than i would’ve liked and i would hate for you guys to wait all day tomorrow just for it to not be posted at all :( i’m currently aiming for it to be out sometime this weekend but i’m hesitant to give an exact day because 1. i hateeee rushing my writing and would always rather take a little extra time to make sure i post something i’m happy with and proud of and 2. life happens so on and so forth etc etc etc and you never really know! it will be out Soon though. i Promise. thank you for your patience! you all were rockstars with the ch4 wait and i hope i can deliver when ch5 does come out 🤸🫡

soooo… you may have noticed that I changed Jason’s outfit. That was by accident 😔. I misunderstood his clothes and by the time I realized, I was already committed. So then I thought… what if he’s just borrowing Dick’s hoodie? So I colored it red and here he is. Wearing Dicks hoodie.

also, I tried to keep with the original style, but by the time I got to inking that was kind of out the window bc I got super pen-happy.

hi hello gals and gays. Here is a rare wav from me struggling with the flu. The virus has mainly been in my chest but my entire body is so wrecked I was able to induce super easily. No talking bc I’m literally unable to 😭 Do not listen if you can't stand harsh coughing because it gets a bit rough. If it sounds a bit weird the first half of the recording is from yesterday and the second half is from today, bc the coughing is so much worse in the second half lmao. last week i thought he died. he was sleeping all curled up in his lil oivanest and didnt react to me rustling around or gently touching him, so i panicked and sent my friend a sad "OIVA IS DEAD" message

then i went to pick up his "dead body" and he uncurled and started clicking his teeth at me, all annoyed.

he was just having a real good nap. fucking old man making me go through all the stages of grief in 2 minutes.

You ever think about the idea that Sonic, Shadow and Silver all might have impressively long quills for hedgehog mobians? Cus I do. Cus they all have reasons to. Sonic’s constantly tearing through solid metal and wires, the more buzzsaw like he can make himself the better and the more layers between him and sparking machinery while spindashing also all the better. Shadow’s a living weapon and part alien and he has the same reasons as Sonic to maintain them, also, his quills must be So Weird to other hedgehogs. Why are they so dark? I’ve never seen that stripe pattern in my life. How are they going up so much?? And so on. Silver. Silver dude guy. Post/mid-apocalypse extraordinaire (had to look up that word. why the hell is it spelled like that) Between his insane quills and the telekinesis, touching him if he doesn’t want you to is guaranteed pain. Someone get him some industrial scissors his quills don’t need to be that long anymore.

Imagine being a normal little hedgehog mobian. You’ve been living your life, having your quills carefully trimmed and blunted for your convenience and others’ safety, trying to find a nice balance between lengths so it looks nice without ruining the couch. the couch probably gets ruined anyway but it takes longer than if you were doing nothing. You kinda wish you could grow them out more cus other mobians with just fur do some pretty cool stuff. And one day your town gets overrun by robots by this human dude and you get saved by this blue mobian who you haven’t been able to get a good look at because he’s going So Fast and when he finally slows down you’re like. oh. neat I’ve been saved by a superspeed porcupine-wait no. why’s he look like. hedge hog??? Quills? Why????????? Are they so long what.

This guy has done the equivalent of growing up in a world of sewing needle hair and decided to grow them out to goddamn knife points. How has he not stabbed himself. what does his monthly spending on couches look like? And then two other guys show up. they also get mistaken for porcupines. they are also hedgehogs. What.

They all look cool as hell. plotting to ask them about their quill care routine is in your future. Maybe you’ll ask the pink one that just showed up. She seems like the most normal (wrong.) She might know how they do that.

it's so cool having celebrity gossip or whatever you want to call it, but when kate beckinsale was staying in the hotel i worked in, she was there for probably 2-3 months and let me tell you she is quite messy and disgusting and she also had cats and dogs with her so it was all super nasty, i wasn't in charge of her suite so i didn't do much there, but my coworkers were and they worked so hard every day. do you think she left a tip? a single tip in all those 3 months? nope.

I still have the wheelchair my aunt gave me, so I'm not too upset about today, but also I'm just so confused about why my OT doesn't think I need a chair???

My standing tolerance is currently like, 2mins MAX. I understand that I'm working on increasing it so I can actually do things around the house, but how am I supposed to leave my house when there's shitty sidewalks and snow and my walker can't even handle rough pavement. Even now that we have a plan in place to work on my tolerance, I'm not supposed to be standing for more than 1min at a time, so again, how am I supposed to go anywhere or do anything.

My therapist and even the pain specialist I saw both seemed to be on board with me getting a wheelchair, and my Beautiful Wife is of the opinion that I should've had one years ago. My OT seemed really great at our initial appointment and aside from this one thing she was pretty good today, so hopefully this just takes time ._.

I really really want to like being home. i really do. i love playing with my puppies and being able to cook my own food and having a break from school. i love having little crafts to do and being in a place so familiar. and my brother and parents are so funny and i do genuinely love being around them! it just sucks because my sister actively bullies me and i have no idea why. i can't even exist around her without the risk of getting blown up at. god forbid my toothbrush is in the bathroom.

If I were to choose soundtracks to play as my background music for the rest of my life, I'll pick dppt's soundtracks in a heartbeat because it's just that good for me. I'm not even choosing it because it happened to be my first pokemon game or because of pure nostalgia; the range that this whole game's soundtracks have is just that wide and pleasant to enjoy anytime anywhere :')
