Alexia Mohabir (they/she) 🌒 Community Manager 🌘

Alexia is an Indo-Guyanese and Puerto Rican artist, designer and game dev based in NYC with a passion for storytelling and community building. They've spent years doing community work in the indie dev scene, most recently with Game Devs of Color, and love building spaces that help fellow devs succeed.

On Midautumn, they get to be a professional cheerleader and communicator. Their job is not only writing posts like these (hello!) and running this Tumblr, but connecting with all you wonderful folks and sharing all the amazing things the rest of the team is creating for the game, from art to music to gameplay and more!

I’m Alexia and I’ve run this blog for literally almost two decades. This is my space to just chill and reblog things that inspire me and are important to me, mostly video game stuff, art and media!

I am a psychology major - I started being really interested in the subject in high school.

I love comfortable clothing a lot, but I have a fondness for more professional clothes like suits.  Always feel good about how I look in a nice, fancy outfit!

The only Pokemon generation I have not completed is generation 1.  I’ve beaten a game in every other generation at least once.  I HAVE completed FRLG, however.

I’ve had a Mario Galaxy Stocking hanging my room since last Christmas…I gotta take it down this year.

The detailed visual concepts of CR’s campaign 3 character designs are really fun to play with and push. Made for great study and practice of stylization. Ashton’s ended up being my favorite here with all his scars, stonework and punk aesthetics.🤘
