— he’d be the sweetest guy ever!!
— jeremiah had probably seen you around before he actually met you.
— he would meet you through belly, maybe she invited you to the house for a swim and he comes out and sees you.
— immediately is enamored by you, and tries to flirt with you but fails miserably.
— as soon as you leave, belly is teasing him about his failed attempts.
— “really jere? thought you were smoother than that.” she’d nudge him with her elbow.
— would confide in belly about wanting to know you better and how he likes you.
— when he asked you out, instead of being confident and flirty, he’s stumbling over his words and a blush covers his face.
— “would you- um do you wanna maybe go out with me sometime?”
— he would play it cool when you say yes but when he walks away and thinks that you aren’t looking, he pumps his fist into the air in celebration.
— jere would definitely take you to the beach for your first date, maybe it’s for a bonfire or when the beach is much less crowded he’d set up a picnic for the two of you.
— is so supportive of everything you do. you wanna learn how to surf? he’ll teach you. you finished a new book? tell him all about it, he’ll buy the next book in the series. got some new clothes? go try them on and show him!
— “i don’t care what you wear, i can fight.” !!!!
— he would make you feel so comfortable if you’re wearing something more revealing or out of your comfort zone.
— obsessed with calling you ‘my love’ and ‘sweetheart’.
— watches the sunset or the sunrise with you and gives you his jacket to keep you warm.
— loves seeing you and conrad get closer and be friends.
— he’s scared to introduce you to his mom (and laurel) but when you’re laughing with the two women within minutes of meeting he feels as though a weight was lifted from his shoulders.
— “y’know i think they like you better than me.” he pouts.
— will always want to be the designated driver if you’re coming to a party with him and the guys.
— “i want my baby to have a good time tonight.” he’d say when you try and protest, telling him steven already agreed to drive for the night.
— keeps an arm around you at bonfires, so that other guys know you’re together.
— always wants you to be his partner at beer pong, very rarely will he ask someone else.
— serenades you with your favorite song (like he did to belly with ‘summer nights’ from grease on her birthday).
— he’d probably drag conrad or steven into doing it with him too.
— he would get you matching bracelets for your birthday, with charms of each others initials on them.
— definitely keeps a picture of the two of you in his wallet.
— adores seeing you in any clothes of his.
— if you’re going to the debutant ball you best bet he’ll be there.
— “thought you swore off these kinda things?” conrad jokes when he sees him all dressed up for it.
— gets a special present for your special night, it would be something you’d been eyeing for a while but hadn’t purchased for yourself.
— loves when you come over to his for movie nights, because he not only gets to see you in one of his hoodies but for who knows how many hours you’d be pressed into his side cuddling in his bed or on the couch downstairs.
— overall the best guy you have ever met and loves you with his whole heart !!

CHARMED (1998) - SEASON 1 || Sentence Starters (pt. 2)
A collection of sentence starters taken from The WB's Charmed, for roleplay purposes. Slightly NSFW (mentions of sex, violence).
07. The Fourth Sister
❝Trust me. One hot night is all you guys need to get back on track.❞
❝So you know... it's not like either one of us has a problem finding guys.❞
❝So we can just consider this a friendly competition.❞
❝Life sucks here.❞
❝Why don't you get some light and air in here?❞
❝Why are you so antagonistic to me?❞
❝She has to take responsibility for her own actions.❞
❝She's not in jail. She's in rehab. She didn't do anything wrong to take responsibility for. She's sick and that's it. It's nothing to be ashamed of.❞
❝Doesn't matter what we pick anyway. We'll probably never get around to watching it.❞
❝There's never a perfectly good reason. As a matter of fact, there's never usually even a reason at all. Good, bad, or otherwise.❞
❝You must gain their trust first. You must let them welcome you into their coven.❞
❝I won't disappoint you. I swear.❞
❝I was thinking about catching a movie. Wanna go?❞
❝You know, actually, in the Mayan culture, the cook was second in the hierarchy only to the medicine man.❞
❝She's probably at her gay and lesbian group right about now.❞
❝You skipped school today and I want to know why.❞
❝She's a strange kid. Very troubled. Into all sorts of wired stuff. Black magic, voodoo. God know what else. No wonder she doesn't have any friends.❞
❝What makes you think she's into black magic?❞
08. The Truth Is Out There... and It Hurts
❝What a pleasure. I can't tell you how long I've waited for this.❞
❝You've become kind of a hobby of mine.❞
❝I just had a premonition. A woman's about to get murdered.❞
❝I'll get you some coffee.❞
❝When are you two gonna stop fighting over him and grow up?❞
❝Can I borrow your laptop? I need to do some surfing on the web, see if I can find anything about the burns on the victim's forehead.❞
❝I just never thought of you as being computer-friendly.❞
❝Are you kidding? Chat rooms saved my life.❞
❝For those who want the truth revealed, opened hearts and secrets unsealed, from now until it's now again, after which the memory ends. Those who now are in this house, will hear the truth from others' mouths.❞
❝I cast a truth spell.❞
❝You cast a truth spell?❞
❝The biggest pooper at the Wicca party has finally used her power for personal gain. About time.❞
❝I think he's a self-serving jerk who must have a very small penis. ❞
❝What a way to come out of the broom closet.❞
❝Are you nuts? We just need to, we need to lock the doors, call in sick, and stay in our own bedrooms until it just goes away.❞
❝How do you feel about women who make the first move?❞
❝Short story: you're in danger. And to keep you out of it, we're gonna have to keep you out of the obvious places, which is why you have to stay here.❞
09. The Witch Is Back
❝Why? Why did you betray me?❞
❝You got what you deserve.❞
❝So you've never loved me? All the passion, all the heat?❞
❝I had to make you trust me. It was the only way to share your powers.❞
❝And so now you have them. So why would you turn me in? You know I'll burn.❞
❝I had to keep my secret.❞
❝I'm taking back the powers you stole from me. 'Outside of time, outside of gain, know only sorrow, know only pain'.❞
❝I can share your power but you can't share mine.❞
❝I was just sitting there, you know, reading the sports, having a cup of Joe and 'bam', this guy comes flying out of nowhere, you know. Weird clothes, bad manners, he nearly fell right on top of me.❞
❝Pull out your secret ghost hunter decoder ring, and let's hear it.❞
❝I don't understand. Am I the only person in this family who's inherited the take-a-chance gene?❞
❝Probably. ‘Cause if I remember my biology correctly, it's attached to the can't-mind-my-own-business gene.❞
❝Quick, have your way with him.❞
❝Looks like a Kodak moment to me.❞
❝I thought that went exceedingly well. Didn't you?❞
❝We may have proven the legend of the locket true and that the little witch is charmed, but now we have a seventeenth century warlock running around. I think he'll stick out.❞
❝Uh, he came out of the locket. And he has strong powers. Stronger than mine, I mean, he did the weirdest thing. One minute he was in front of me, the next he was behind me and then twelve stories down landed right on his feet.❞
❝Yeah, well, he'll have to take a number and get in line behind the other warlocks.❞
❝We've never been up against anyone like him before.❞
❝Great, so now I'm being hunted by a warlock and the San Francisco P.D.❞
❝I can't stand the sight of blood.❞
❝Well, the short answer is we're the ones who gave the witch the locket to have you freed. I suppose you could say we're partners.❞
❝It's called blinking. He must've copied it from another witch. I stripped him of all the powers he copied from me but who knows what other powers he still has?❞
❝If it pleases you to look, look.❞
❝I wasn't looking... much.❞
❝Why the false modesty? I, I don't understand.❞
❝Well, it's a very complex issue these days. I mean, there's political correctness, sexual harassment, um, don't get me started.❞
❝Hmm, what a strange time this is. So open, yet so closed. Where even a warlock feels shame.❞
❝Us? Are you kidding? We're new at this. We can't just make up our own spell... wait, can we?❞
10. Wicca Envy
❝That's what a new wardrobe's all about. Pushing the limit.❞
❝Are you sure this isn't depression buying, you know, post-breakup?❞
❝Does this look like something a depressed woman would wear?❞
❝You know, I rather like this new power.❞
❝Um, just took a little longer to get out of bed this morning than I planned.❞
❝I'm sorry. I'm just trying to get all the facts, that's all.❞
❝So, do you think the one of the employees might have stolen it?❞
❝Okay, I would just like to keep my work world separate from my home world, is that okay?❞
❝So, it must have been quite a night, you know, after the concert.❞
❝Focus and think. The last thing we have to worry about is the legal system. We're up against a warlock now.❞
❝But we can't give up our powers without a fight. It's like giving up who we are, who we've become.❞
❝These powers are gifts. Gifts that were given to us to protect and ultimately to pass on to the next generation.❞
❝It all feels a little anticlimactic, don't you think? Too easy, almost. It feels as if we need a more satisfying ending.❞
11. Feats of Clay
❝Let's just do this and get out of here.❞
❝I told you no one's home, the owner is dead.❞
❝You are being punished for your greed.❞
❝We're just friends, that's all. Do I have lipstick on my teeth?❞
❝Don't take this personally but sometimes you can be a bit judgmental.❞
❝People don't like to dwell on things that end badly.❞
❝So, what, you're playing Cupid at the risk of your own job?❞
❝You were right to leave me.❞
❝Ooh, and the conversation turns.❞
❝No, I'm serious. You were the best thing that ever happened to me and I blew it, I know that.❞
❝Look, I hope you don't take this the wrong way but why are you here? With me now?❞
❝I thought your charm was to boost his confidence, not turn him into Tom Cruise.❞
❝I had more privacy when I lived in New York, a tiny island crawling with eight million people.❞
❝Listen, just because we're not dating anymore, I want you to know I still care about you. So if you're ever in a jam or you ever need anything, just know you can always call me.❞
❝You can't change people; they have to change themselves.❞
❝I know I lied to you about a lot of things. But one thing I never lied to you about was how much I care about you.❞
12. The Wendigo
❝Oh my God, that's a lot of blood.❞
❝If I pass out and I need a transfusion, I'm AB negative. It's very rare, it could be a problem.❞
❝Describe it? Oh, okay, big, scary, strong. Kind of like a cross between a werewolf and Charles Manson.❞
❝I thought I was gonna die last night. I was totally helpless and all I could think about is I was never gonna see you guys again.❞
❝Apparently, it looks like a normal person during the day but then it transforms at night. It survives by feeding on human hearts.❞
❝I've just gone over the coroner's reports from Chicago, New Orleans, now local. It turns out all the victims were AB negative.❞
❝Chosen by blood type? That's a new one.❞
❝And plus they're all killed in threes. The night before, the night after and the night of the full moon.❞
❝Well, if you're right, that means the creature will try again tonight.❞
❝I'm not all together convinced that it's a quote-unquote creature. The blood types, the full moon, the stolen hearts. It feels like ritual. And ritual is human. It could be just one sick mind behind these crimes.❞
❝Maybe we'll have a chance to confirm your theory tonight. You and me, stake out at the park. Interested?❞
❝It might not have been whoever attacked you.❞
❝You're the only one to survive the attacks. Hope you didn't get infected by it.❞
❝I took steps. I did what I needed to make myself strong. To make it so no one could ever hurt me like that again.❞
❝What if you're wrong? What if you don't? Then you'll have to... then you'll have to kill me.❞
❝We're gonna kill the thing that did this to you.❞
❝Instinct of the hunt. That's why you're here. That's why you're a cop.❞
❝Does this turn you on or something?❞
❝Look, you are a gorgeous woman, but we're on this job together. Let's just leave it at that.❞
❝He's dead when we find a body, not before.❞
❝Last one. My turn. This time we don't fire until I see slobber on its face.❞
❝Just stay out of my world or I'll kill you.❞

Chapter one | Chapter two
Warnings: Blood, gore, smut, all that good stuff

Vera had been to a lot of cities, some of them twice, some of them three times, some even more, but none of them were quite as unique as Santa Carla. The boardwalk was crawling with lost souls, kids with nowhere else to go, and she was one of them; no family to call her own, no real friends, barely any possessions…Vera was a wanderer, a lone soul, a lost girl. She drifted from town to town, hanging around for a day or two if nothing interesting happened before moving on...and honestly, nothing very interesting ever happened.
Sometimes she took the bus, if she had the money from odd jobs or pick pocketing her meals, but for the most part, she was left to her own devices. She traveled on foot when she had to, avoiding major highways unless she was feeling up to a fight. During the day, she took refuge under bridges if she was broke, or motel rooms if she had a little cash. If she felt particularly frisky, sometimes she even managed to seduce locals into helping out, but for the most part, she only had herself as company, traveling by night for no reason other than an insatiable wanderlust and nobody else to spend her time with.
Nothing had ever held her in one place. She had started traveling a long time ago, when she realized she had no reason to stay in her hometown. Plus...people started to grow a little bit suspicious when they noticed too many bodies cropping up. The world was changing, and for someone like her, it was best to stay on the move.
After that, it became a habit, and she got used to wandering and never having a place to call home. Did it ever bother her? Sometimes, when she was resting, it did. She could stop and look at the stars, with some kind of foreign aching in her chest, but it was rare that she thought about it. It had started up years ago, and she had forced herself to get used to it. She had never found any cure, and while she lingered around the east coast, it had finally dulled to a strange, quiet pain. A constant throb in her chest, next to her heart, some kind of strange tightness that she was happy to forget whenever she could. It was becoming more frequent, though, as she neared California, and she chalked it up to the fact that she had been alone and hungry for far too long.
She would have to do something about that soon. She hated feeling hungry.
Vera hopped off the bus when it stopped in Santa Carla, a coastal town that boasted a crowded boardwalk and just the kind of nightlife she needed. From the road, she could see the bright lights of a Ferris wheel and even a roller coaster, and she couldn’t help but smile. She had always liked fairs and carnivals. They were fun and exciting, and good places to pickpocket. Plus, the chaos made it easier for her to go unnoticed.
At the bus stop, she was greeted with boards and telephone poles covered in missing persons ads, and it was an oddly comforting sight. She would fit right in.
“Murder capital of the world, huh?” she said to herself, slinging her backpack over her shoulder. She had seen the graffiti on the back of a big WELCOME TO SANTA CARLA sign on the way in, and the flyers only added to the town’s reputation.
Yeah, this place was worth checking out.
The pier was bright, neon signs and carnival rides lighting up the night. Kids and adults alike were enjoying their summer, stuffing themselves with treats or screaming their way around the roller coaster. It all looked fun, she had to admit, and maybe once she had a chance to grab some cash she could hang around and enjoy herself. She could use a break from running constantly, and she was finding that the boardwalk was already making her happy.
As she walked through the crowds, Vera spotted every kind of person, from middle aged parents toting along a family of four to dirty vagrant children to punks to a couple of weird kids lurking around the comic book store. There were pizza places, cotton candy carts, all sorts of dine in restaurants and bars...Santa Carla seemed like it had everything, but mostly, it was a good place for someone like her to spend some time.
She sat herself down on a railing, trying to ignore the hunger pains she was feeling as she people watched. Beyond the homeless kids and the weirdos, the boardwalk was full of partygoers, and it looked like summer vacation was in full swing. There were a million smells in the air—cigarettes, weed, funnel cakes—but none of them really caught her attention. She let out a sigh, leaning her chin on her hand. She hated being indecisive about dinner.
“Ugh, Surf Nazis,” a woman whispered to her friend as they ran by.
“Gross,” the other wrinkled her nose.
Vera looked past them to the men that were shouting about their asses as they left and she snorted.
“What’s wrong, girls?” One of them yelled.
“Come back, we’ll show you a good time!” Another cackled, tossing an empty beer can over his shoulder.
Vera rolled her eyes. Disgusting, pathetic creatures, all standing around a trash can as they smoked. They smelled awful, she realized with a wrinkle of her nose, and it wasn’t just from their smoke. They were nasty, leering at girls and laughing loudly with each other when the women they were bothering scampered away.
Well, they weren’t her first choice, but at least she had found a meal.
She hopped off the fence and sauntered in their direction for a moment before turning, giving them just enough time to notice her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw them perk up, and before long, all four of them were following her through the crowd, shouting profanities as she made her way down to the pier.
“Hey baby, where you goin’?” one yelled, jogging to keep up with her pace.
Vera looked over her shoulder. “Down under the boardwalk...unless you’re chicken.”
She heard a chorus of hoots and whistles and grinned to herself. Men were so easy.
“I call first dibs!”
“I wanna piece of that ass!” Another yelled.
They always did. Vera was a short girl, only around five feet tall, and stocky. She carried her weight in her legs, giving her thick thighs and a round butt that could never quite stay covered by the denim shorts she loved to wear so much.
Boys liked the way she looked. They liked how she seemed so easy to grab, so soft, so touchable. As the Surf Nazis followed her down the rickety stairs to a secluded spot under the boardwalk, their hands were already moving, unbuttoning pants and reaching for Vera as if they were entitled to her. She smiled sweetly as she backed into the shadows, cooing for them to follow, grinning sickly when they obeyed. They always did, like lambs to the slaughter, never clever enough to recognize her predatory gaze and dangerous movements until it was too late.
Sometimes, if they were lucky, they could catch a glimpse of her bra or panties before it was over, but tonight, Vera had little patience for the dirty fingers that tried to pull her shirt off and her shorts down. Their faces leered down at her, even in the darkness, grunting as they palmed themselves through their pants.
She gave them a second to enjoy it before her lips twisted into a sick grin and she reached for them, nails like claws and teeth like fangs. The air was suddenly filled with the sound of their screams, but the waves crashing against the sand drowned the grisly noises out. As she tore into them, she laughed, loving the way they were so terrified now that they had completely lost any sense of power over her.
Boys always liked the way she looked, until she was covered in their friends’ blood.
-o-
David was having a boring night.
His boys were under control for the time being, lounging on their bikes next to him. Paul and Marko were laughing loudly, occasionally punching each other just for the hell of it, and Laddie was reading a comic as he clung to Dwayne. Star had decided to stay home for the night, and nobody was complaining about that; at the thought of her, David growled to himself, grimacing at the reminder of the troublesome bitch. Max had wanted a daughter and a good mother for Laddie, and what had they ended up with? A mopey, whiny little cunt who refused to kill and feed like everyone else.
Feed...damn, he could go for a snack. He could practically taste blood in the air as he thought about grabbing a bite, fangs threatening to lengthen. He hadn’t even thought he was that hungry, but now that he was thinking about it, it was bugging him, and when David got the urge to feed, there were very few things that could stop him. The hunger would sometimes gnaw at him the way it did a newborn, and even Max was occasionally put off by it. It was something he expected from a younger vampire, like Marko, maybe, but David? His appetite could be insatiable, truly monstrous in a way that most others’ weren’t.
The boys picked up on his hunger and he heard a few growls of agreement before he nodded for Dwayne to take Laddie back to the cave. The kid was never allowed to go with them when they hunted, and Dwayne was capable enough to grab something for himself if he didn’t catch up with them. Ever since Laddie had gotten his pesky little hands on their bloody wine bottle, they had been stuck with him, and if Dwayne hadn’t turned out to be so good with the kid, David would’ve been irritated beyond belief.
It all worked out, though, and Laddie fit in well with the rest of the group. David just had to keep reminding himself to be patient.
“Anybody catch your eye?” Paul asked as his brother took off down the beach with their youngest member.
“Absolutely fucking no one.” David sneered.
The tall blonde straightened up to sniff the air. “Get a whiff of that, though…”
David paused, mimicking Paul. He was right. There was a metallic scent on the breeze, the sweet smell of fresh blood. It made him thirsty, and as he led Paul and Marko down the boardwalk, it only grew stronger.
“Shit,” Marko mumbled as they started down the stairs to the beach. Once they had broken free of the crowd, the scent had hit them like a train, and even David was having trouble controlling himself.
“Careful,” he warned, voice coming out with a ragged, heavy breath.
Murders happened in Santa Carla all the time, and not only because of the Lost Boys. It was a rough place, full of drugs and vagrants, and the violence only helped them blend in. Someone had probably gotten themselves in trouble under the boardwalk, and at this point David was just hoping that the killer was still around to sate his hunger. They never fed from corpses, so stumbling across them never yielded any good results unless they were in the mood to rip them apart for shits and giggles.
David was not in the mood.
He led Paul and Marko off the stairs and through the sand, hurrying now as the blood filled his senses. It was so fresh, and there was so much of it...this wasn’t normal, even for the murder capital of the world. What kind of sadistic human would cut someone up enough to spill so much blood? What the fuck was going on under his boardwalk? Sure, it was something he would do, but other than his boys, who could possibly be that brutal?
It was in the shadows of the pier that he finally got the answers to all of his questions.
Just like the blood had, her scent hit him like a freight train. He could tell Paul and Marko were just as confused by the way they stopped and hissed, fangs already out as they looked down at the bodies littering the sand. It was a gorey scene, throats and stomachs ripped open, Surf Nazis gutted with their pants down.
And in the middle of it all, she had the audacity to glance up at David, and then completely disregard him as she turned back to her final victim. She wasn’t worried in the slightest about the three males, and that pissed David off a little. When he would have snarled a warning at her insolence, he found himself distracted instead, head tilted and lips parted as he drank in her scent and checked her out.
She was wearing shorts that barely covered her bloody legs, ratty combat boots on her feet and an equally ratty denim vest over a ripped up black shirt. Her ebony hair was cut into some sort of shaggy mullet,  falling around her shoulders. It was long and wavy and glossy, but tousled and messy, no doubt thanks to feeding.
He could only stare in shock at the black-haired girl that was feasting on a Surf Nazi. He couldn’t decide if he was angry at someone else hunting on his turf or happy to find a real female vampire, one that wasn’t stupid and whiny like Star, but the one thing he knew for sure as he took a step towards her was that he was just the tiniest bit turned on.
Paul and Marko could both smell the tiniest hint of their leader’s arousal, and it excited them. They weren’t used to supernatural girls, and the thought of getting a turn with her was enough to make the air heavy with the scent of lust as they followed David.
Paul let out a low whistle behind him. “Shit, first time I wouldn’t mind bein’ a Surfer. I’d take a little of that sugar right now, know what I’m sayin?”
The vampiress lifted her head from her victim and smiled, drunk on blood and high off the hunt. “I don’t usually share meals, but I’ll give you the rest of this one if it gives me a free pass back outta here.”
Paul tensed to take her up on the offer, but David stopped him. “Free pass?”
The girl sat back from the still-whimpering Surf Nazi, blood running down her chin. “Figure you wouldn’t want me in your territory. Sorry. Didn’t realize anybody else was here, else I’d have been moving on already.”
David smirked. “No need, sweetheart.”
She furrowed her brow.
“It’s feeding time, boys. Grab a snack.” David grinned, allowing Paul and Marko to surge forward and rip into the Surf Nazi. He watched with a twinge of annoyance as Paul turned from his meal and pressed his bloody lips to the girl’s, but that annoyance turned into surprise when she kissed back, albeit lazily.
She smiled as her lips moved against his, a hand moving to tangle in his wild hair. Fire tore through Paul and he growled, pushing her down until her back hit the sand and her chest touched his as her breaths turned into frenzied pants.
Hands ran down her sides, hard nails digging into her skin as Paul nipped at her lower lip. With a whine, she arched up against him, tugging at his hair until he snarled.
“Paul,” David growled a warning.
Paul sat back up with an irritated grumble, licking his lips before plunging his fangs into the Surf Nazi and leaving Vera alone.
David had to admit, he had never met a female vampire that wasn’t stuck in limbo like Star. They seemed rare, or at least they were around California, but Max had always told him that girls of their kind were a special breed. He was already feeling a tug toward her, some kind of something pulling at his chest whenever she moved, and before he knew what he was doing, he was crouching down to suck up the last few drops of blood while his boys turned their attention to the killer.
“What’s your name, beautiful?” Marko asked, playing with a strand of her hair.
“Vera,” she answered with the sweetest voice either of them had ever heard, practically a purr.
Paul sighed, leaning in again. He was head over heels already. “What brings you here to our little corner of the world, Miss Vera?”
She blinked, and they were fucking mesmerized by those lashes and those hazel eyes. “Just passing through, boys. Don’t wanna step on any toes.”
Paul groaned. He wanted her to stay. She smelled amazing, and when she had returned the kiss he hadn’t even realized he was giving her, he felt jolts of electricity shoot through every part of his body.
He wanted more.
“Damn, babe, you’re breakin’ my heart,” he said, holding her face so that he could lick blood off her chin.
“No fair,” Marko nudged his brother. “I want a taste…”
David looked up from the drained corpse, listening as his boys slurred with love drunk voices. Max had warned him about females, about those with foreign sires. They could trap you in a web of lust, keep you dumb and happy there for as long as they wanted, rob you blind and kill your entire family...but somehow, he got the feeling that Vera wasn’t even trying to fuck with them. There was no misty, foggy sensation that would signify magic, no eye contact, no focus. As he rose to his feet, he realized he was walking towards her of his own accord, the only spell being that strange, unspoken one that kept pulling him to her.
He had an inkling of what it could be, but he didn’t dare get his hopes up.
“Got a place to stay, darling?” He asked as he shoved his boys out of the way and knelt before Vera.
She leaned toward him, a sweet smile on those bloody lips that told him she was confident enough in her ability to handle them all. She was calm, completely in control of herself, even when faced with three healthy male vampires. Her eyes were half-lidded, long lashes fluttering whenever she blinked.
When her tongue slipped out to lick blood off her lips, David’s eyes widened at the sight of something he had never seen before. It was split in two, each side moving of its own accord easily. Paul let out an eager noise, Marko shoving him with his shoulder to try to get a better look. Vera just laughed at their fascination, pulling her tongue back into her mouth and smiling.
David could feel her breath on his cheek as she took in his scent and he couldn’t help the shiver that went up his spine. He wanted to touch her, to kiss her better than Paul had, to fuck her and hear his name on her lips. He wanted to show her how strong he was, to impress her, to prove himself for some reason. He would kill a hundred surfers if he had to, if it would grant him her favor. He would sit out in the sun and burn himself if it meant he could be hers.
He had never felt this way about anyone, and it was pissing him off.
Vera laughed to herself. She could smell his desire, and she knew that it was because of her. Just like those Surf Nazis, these vampires wanted her, but at least she liked this little pack. What’s more, that aching in her chest had stopped when they showed up, and she had a feeling she knew why.
It was a little bit terrifying, though, and she wasn’t about to stop and think about it.
“What are you suggesting?” She asked, brushing her fingers along his cheek, a smear of blood following.
“Stay with us,” he breathed, blue eyes locked with hers.
“Darling, I don’t even know your name,” she quipped, never shifting her gaze.
“David,” he said with a slight growl as he felt himself getting lost in her eyes.
“David,” she repeated, voice soft and breathy. Her hand moved to cup his cheek and he leaned into it, nose twitching as he smelled the fresh blood in her wrist. It was sweet, sweeter than any blood he had ever encountered before, and all he wanted to do was sink his fangs into her flesh and get a taste.
Vera heard a sigh and finally took her eyes off David. The other two were watching, just off to the side, staring hungrily at their leader and the new girl.
“And what about you two?” She asked, hand sliding down to the side of David’s neck to keep him in check. She was confident enough in herself to handle him, but at the same time, he put her on edge. There was no way she was going to let her guard down around him yet.
That was the thing about female vampires, though; they had the uncanny ability to always put on a facade, and Vera was no exception. David made her nervous—they all did, honestly—but she wasn’t about to let them know that.
“Paul,” the tall blonde said quickly, rushing forward as if he would die without her touch. He pressed his nose against her throat, breathing her scent as if he was starving.
“Marko,” the smaller one followed, desperately reaching out to touch her hair.
“Paul,” she purred, earning a growl. “...Marko…”
Another growl.
They acted like they needed her, all three of them, but they were behaving themselves. She had no doubt that if she gave them the go ahead, she would be naked within seconds, but for the moment, they were listening to her. She had never experienced something like this before; usually, other vampires ignored her, or threatened her until she left their territory. These boys seemed to adore her, and she had to admit, she liked it.
“Paul, Marko,” David said roughly. “Clean up so we can go home.”
With a groan, the younger two did as they were told, dragging Surf Nazi corpses into the ocean before wiping their hands and faces clean.
“You’re their leader,” Vera said, more as an observation than anything else. “Are you their sire?”
David smirked as he helped her to her feet. “Depends on how you look at it.”
She raised an eyebrow. “There’s only one way to look at that, David.”
He melted when she said his name, leaning in to catch another whiff of her scent. It was sweet, like honey, sticky and sick, and all he wanted was to drown in it. “What have you done to me, Vera?”
She smiled and took his hand, raising it to lick blood off of his fingers. “Nothing on purpose, I promise.”
“Whatever it is, I don’t mind,” Paul suddenly grabbed her from behind, arms snaking around her waist as he buried his nose in her black hair, inhaling deeply and letting out a happy sigh. The feeling of her there in his arms, pressed up against him, was enough to make his fangs slide out again, and he couldn’t help but swipe his tongue up the side of her neck.
David snarled, snapping only inches from his brother’s face. “Behave.”
“You say as if you are,” Vera snorted, giving David a gentle push and easing her way out of Paul’s grip. “But you boys are all very sweet. I don’t mind the attention.”
“Oh, you have our attention, sweets,” Paul whistled as she turned and bent over to wash her face and hands at the water’s edge, giving them all a good view of her ass. A low rumble rose in David’s throat as he appreciated the sight, and Marko echoed it.
“So greedy,” Vera mocked as she straightened up again. “Are you this nice to every bloodsucker that hangs out on your boardwalk, or is it just me?”
“Just you, that’s for sure,” Marko said, almost cackling.
“The others aren’t so delicious,” Paul cooed with that signature laugh.
“Oh, aren’t you a charmer?” Vera said, walking back to them. Now that her arms and legs were clean of blood, they could see that she was covered in tattoos, and David wondered if she had them as a human before she was turned, or if she had found some way to make the ink stay in her regenerative skin.
Paul gave her a cocky grin and David rolled his eyes. His brother was such a flirtatious bastard. He was a lady killer, literally, even more than David was, but Vera didn’t seem to mind his advances. She seemed comfortable with Paul, taking it all in stride.
It made David just the tiniest bit jealous.
“Come with us.” He said it more as an order than an offer, extending his hand out to her.
“Unless you got somewhere better to go,” Marko joked.
“And there ain’t nowhere better,” Paul snickered.
“There aren’t too many places to hide from the sun on a boardwalk,” Vera snorted. She was finally coming down from her high, the thrill of the hunt fading again and giving way to her less monstrous personality. “I was going to have to find a good spot anyways…”
Now that she wasn’t operating solely on instinct, she could take a moment and think about her situation. Three male vampires, none of whom had tried to kill her for stealing prey in their territory, seemed to be absolutely obsessed with everything about her and wanted her to go home with them. One had even kissed her and she had kissed him back, because it had felt so right. She allowed them to touch her, to taste her skin, to share her meal. They were stronger than her, and they outnumbered her, but she still felt like she was...in charge?
David, the definite leader of the little pack, was looking at her hopefully. His face was stony, but she could see excitement in his blue eyes, and when she smiled, there was a spark of something in those irises.
“Just don’t kill me in my sleep,” Vera joked as David took her hand and began leading her back up to the boardwalk.
“No promises,” Marko leered as they followed.
“You look good enough to eat, babe,” Paul growled playfully, lunging forward to cop a feel of her ass.
Vera only laughed, but David snarled dangerously at his brother, moving his arm to Vera’s shoulders and pulling her against his side.
“Relax, you big angry beast,” Vera said with a grin, raising her hand to his chin and giving a teasing scratch.
David huffed and Marko hooted with laughter. “Damn, she’s way more fun than you, David!”
“I dig this chick,” Paul snickered.
“You better share her,” Marko whined.
David smirked as they climbed the stairs back up to the boardwalk. Could he manage that? He only ever shared things with his brothers, but even then, he was terrible at it. Vera had some kind of magnetic pull on him, yeah, and his mouth watered at the thought of keeping her around, but Marko and Paul were both obviously into her...and she was into them.
She was into all of them.
He needed to talk to Max. He honestly hated having to ask his sire for help or advice, and he avoided it whenever he could. Max had never been very nurturing, despite wanting everyone to act like a big family. It worked out for the boys, sure, but Max was…not a great father. A patriarch, yes, always seated at the head of the metaphorical table, but he was cruel and cold towards David, and he had been from the very start. He thought they all needed a stern hand to keep them in check, and David didn’t like that.
Still, Max let them run free, and he knew more than David did about their own kind. He was helpful, sometimes, in his own way, and his son was going to have to defer to him. He had questions about Vera, about the pull he felt toward her, and Max was the only one with the answers.
As they returned to the boardwalk and joined the crowd of humans, Vera was pleased to see that the sea of people parted for the boys. They stepped aside, glancing with mixtures of emotions at the little pack. Girls looked dreamy, parents grabbed their children, Surf Nazis raised their lips in sneers. Was it because of their reputation, or did the humans somehow know that they should be afraid of the predators that stalked Santa Carla? She hoped it was both. She hoped that these boys were wild and rowdy enough to rule this boardwalk, and she hoped that they liked her enough to keep her around.
She glanced up at the sky, a few stars twinkling despite the light pollution from the city. For the first time in a long time, she wasn’t itching to hop on a bus or hitch hike to the next town. For once in her life, Something was occupying her mind, and the wanderlust was giving way to another, completely foreign feeling. The ache in her chest was gone, but it was replaced by a strange, burning, almost longing that she had never felt before. It was almost similar to the emotions she experienced during bloodlust, but she was in control of herself. Her fangs weren’t poking through, her eyes weren’t shining...she was happy and her hunger was sated, so where was this coming from?
She was still avoiding the one train of thought that would bring her to the right conclusion. It was just too much to consider, especially with everything happening so quickly all of the sudden.
They came to a halt when they reached their bikes, Dwayne already back from dropping Laddie off. From the looks of it, he had grabbed a bite on the way, jeans stained with fresh blood that the humans would just assume was from a fight.
Vera stopped. There was another male here? She was finding it hard to believe that she had stumbled across a pack of four males without any females, but she couldn’t smell much in the way of estrogen on them. It was just odd; vampires didn’t usually live in bachelor groups like these, but she supposed it wasn’t entirely unheard of. It was just strange that they hadn’t found any girls they wanted to keep around for all eternity.
Most people got lonely eventually. Maybe these four were all actually lovers...but she hadn’t seen any marks that would mean they were claimed, and she hadn’t smelled or sensed anything that would lead her to believe that they were serious.
Odd.
The one leaning against the bike was tall, long dark hair falling around his shoulders and a curious, but serious, expression on his handsome face. She felt frozen under his gaze, uncharacteristically nervous, like a deer in the headlights. It was like he could see right through her, and she didn’t know if she liked that or not.
“Dwayne, this is Vera,” David said as he tugged her along. She found a way to make her legs work again and followed, letting a smile curl its way onto her lips when Dwayne bowed his head to her.
“And she’s tough,” Marko said, bouncing over to his bike.
“And she’s gorgeous,” Paul took her hand and brought it to his lips for a kiss as he passed her.
“I can see that,” Dwayne said, his voice deep and smooth, a seductive smile on his lips.
David narrowed his eyes, but tried to hide the movement with a smirk. “Keep an eye on her. I’m going to visit Max.”
“Oh, I’ll keep both eyes on her,” Paul winked as he beckoned for her to sit behind him on his motorcycle.
David rolled his eyes, desperately trying to not make a scene. “Control yourself. I’ll be back.”
He pressed a kiss to Vera’s head, inhaling deeply before leaving her side and stalking off down the boardwalk. He could already feel his sire tugging questioningly at his consciousness, curious as to why David was so eager to speak to him. His son had always been good at blocking him out, keeping his mind locked down unless he needed something or there was trouble that called for Max’s attention. The others were more open, but Max didn’t have as strong a link with them, and while David was supposed to be his prodigal son, he was so...secretive. Private. Closed off. For him to be willingly heading to the VideoMax store for anything other than annoying him or hitting on Maria out of boredom, something very important had to be going on, and Max was beyond itching to know what it could be.
“Who’s Max?” Vera asked, joining Paul to perch on the back of his bike.
“David’s sire,” Marko answered.
“A grouchy old bloodsucker,” Paul grinned.
“He runs the video store. He hates it when we crash.” Marko laughed.
“But...that cashier is pretty cute,” Paul said, thinking of Maria. “I’d love for a bite of—”
He was cut off by the breath leaving his body when Vera wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head against his back.
Marko hooted with laughter at his brother’s reaction and Dwayne let out a chuckle. Paul was absolutely speechless, and Vera wasn’t even making skin on skin contact with him.
Until she felt him tense, smirked against his back, and slid her hands under his mesh shirt.
If Paul could blush, he would have. He would have been a shade past tomato red. The feeling of her fingers running over his abs was all he could focus on for a moment, and all he wanted was to kiss her again, feel her again, maybe get a little tongue action...
“You’re supposed to behave yourself, Paul,” Marko taunted as he caught a whiff of the lust in the air and felt his brother’s excited thoughts.
“Yeah, yeah,” Paul snarled. “I don’t need this shit from you.”
“I’m just repeating what David said,” Marko said defensively. “You’re the one who can’t keep it in his pants.”
“Well, aren’t you just the perfect little angel?” Paul shot back. “I’m the one with a goddess on his bike, might I remind you.”
Marko scoffed, lip raised in a nasty little snarl. “Not for long, Paul!”
Vera smiled as they bickered. Paul’s arousal hung in the air, but she didn’t mind; in fact, she liked it, and she hugged her arms around him tighter as he squabbled with Marko. She was eager to get back to wherever it was that they called home, and she was eager to sleep surrounded by them and feel truly safe for once. She was used to being alone, and she wasn’t scared of it, but she was always on edge, always ready to run or fight. It made her a light sleeper, and the concept of not having to worry was more tantalizing than any of these boys were on their own.

Things *Good* Alphas Do (Alpha!Becky x Alpha!Alyssa x Omega!Reader)
Tumblr media
Request: Alpha Alyssa and Alpha Becky/ Omega reader where she’s newer to the team and really shy, especially around alphas and Becky and Alyssa come up with elaborate plans to spend time with her (with the teams help) and omega reader slowly falls for them especially when they protect her from a push alpha when they’re out somewhere?
Alyssa watched you from across the bar. Tracking every movement you made as you ordered your drink next to Mal. The other omega was leaning heavily on you, and she made a mental note to give Rose a heads up.
The team paid little attention to her protective stare, more than used to her and Becky’s possessive (but carefully restrained) behavior around you. They understood the delicateness of your situation.
You weren’t just shy, that much had been overwhelmingly obvious since you had joined the team about six months ago. When you first arrived, you were skidding beyond belief, flinching every time an alpha so much as looked in your direction. Even around the two women who were destined to be your mates.
It was a slow process but the omega’s on the team had eventually gained your trust, and in turn began their plan to get you to accept your alphas.
*****
Attempt 1 - one month in
Christen was the first person you trusted. Her quiet, calm nature resonated with you and you found that her alpha, Tobin’s, chill vibes didn’t set off warning bells in your brain.
You loved hanging out with her (the team joked that you followed her around like a puppy for those first weeks), and morning Yoga together had quickly become an integral part of your routine. You didn’t like it when people messed with your routines.
“I didn’t know you two did yoga,” You mumbled, raising your eyebrows at the two alphas shifting awkwardly from foot to foot.
“We wanted to try something new if that’s ok with you?” Becky asked hesitantly, reaching out to carefully run a hand down your arm.
“We thought it would be a good way to enjoy the view,” Alyssa shrugged, the only indication she was nervous of your answer was her worrying her lip between her teeth.
You glanced worriedly at Christen. You had come to look forward to yoga. It helped you to relax and center yourself before having to deal with the craziness of the team.
She nodded encouragingly at you, a small smile playing on her lips as she released a bit of her soothing scent (your alphas did too, but at a much lower rate- afraid that overwhelming you with pheromones wouldn’t work well in their favor).
“I’m sure they’ll be fine, our routine isn’t too complicated,”
“And they’re going to be over here by me,” Tobin added, gesturing towards two yoga mats a little ways away from the ones you and Christen were going to use.
You were pretty ok around Becky and Alyssa (your inner omega definitely recognized them as her mates), but no one wanted to push you too fast too soon. You eyed the spot Tobin had pointed to and your alphas respectively. It wasn’t that you didn’t trust them, it was just that the previous alphas in your life hadn’t made you feel confident that they would treat you as an equal. That they wouldn’t push you to accept them before you were ready too.
“We respect your boundaries y/n,” Becky said softly, her finger still rubbing your arm, her soothing scent getting just a little bit stronger. The lines for what you and your inner omega were comfortable with were set, and neither alpha was going to overstep it.
“We just wanna be close to you,” Alyssa added, equally as soft.
You paused, looking for any hint of dishonesty (unaware of the apprehensiveness leaking through your fledgling bond to your alphas).
You nodded when you didn’t find any. “You can do yoga with us,” you smirked, feeding off of the excitement they were sending your bond“if you can keep up that is,”
Tobin cackled at your sudden surge of confidence and the wide eyes of your mates. They hadn’t gotten the chance to see your sassy side yet, and she knew that they were going to have their hands full.
“Let’s get started then,” Christen laughed. This was going to be a fun morning. (And if Tobin got to watch your alphas fall all over themselves to get you to feel comfortable around them, then this was going to be a fun courtship to watch).
*****
Attempt 2- 3 months in
“I wasn’t built for this,” Alyssa huffed as her head popped back above the water, whipping the hair from her face and clinging onto her surfboard for dear life.
“And you think I was?” Becky grumbled, paddling over to her alpha mate, while still trying to keep an eye on their omega who was heading out past the breakers with Kelley in hopes of catching another massive wave.
You had taken a long time to warm up to the feisty omega (you were still incredibly hesitant around her rambunctious blond alpha). They were happy that the omega’s on the team were starting to really crack your shell. It helped that most of them were into the same crazy activities you were.
The team was trying to take advantage of your love of surfing as a way to help your alphas bond with you, but it wasn’t exactly going to plan. No one had accounted for the fact that neither of your alphas was particularly good on a surfboard, or in the water for that matter. So they had spent the majority of the day watching as you, Kelley, Tobin, and Alex had basically swum circles around them.
“Looks like you two got yourselves a daredevil for a mate,” Emily snorted, coming up beside them. Her watchful eye never left where her mate was moving next to you.
The two of you had a knack for finding trouble, but she hoped that didn’t extend to the waves.
“I don’t know how you all do this,” Alyssa huffed, finally pulling herself up on her board.
Emily shrugged with a giggle. It was hilarious the lengths your alphas went to spend time with you. “Lots of practice my friend. At least you have more patience than the rest of us,”
Becky and Alyssa shared a look as you paddled after a giant wave. It seemed that you were definitely going to give them a run for their money. When you were more comfortable and you had finally accepted them as your mates, they were going to have to set some boundaries for sure.
“I didn’t know she had it in her,” Ashlyn cackled, joining the group watching the two omega’s shred that monster wave.
Your alphas jaws dropped in awe, excitement and pride surged both ways through your (slightly stronger) fledgling bond.
“We might wanna duck dive,” Emily mumbled just before she disappeared into the water.
“What?” Becky asked, glancing at Ashlyn who also dove under. She turned back towards Alyssa, her eyes widening when she saw the giant wave coming right for them.
Alyssa’s gaze followed hers,
“fuck” she hissed, just as the force of the wave took them, tossing them around like socks in a washing machine. Their boards flew out from under them in the watery barrage but surprisingly didn’t become untethered from their ankles.
Both alphas made it back to the surface with minimal sputtering, dragging themselves the rest of the way inland. They were very much done for the day, but it appeared you weren’t.
Your head popped up above the water with a huge grin on your face. Kelley’s wasn’t too far behind you. The two of you shared several words before hopping on your boards and heading back out through the surf to do it all again.
The alphas shook their heads.
“We need to convince her that cuddles and movies are just as good,” Becky grumbled, and Alyssa nodded in return. The yoga was hard, but at least it hadn’t almost killed them. Hopefully, whatever plan the team came up with next didn’t involve more extreme sports.
*****
Attempt 3- 6 months in
You stood there with your arms crossed, glaring daggers at the two alphas in front of you. You were sure they could feel the frustrated pheromones rolling off you, and your agitation leaking through your evergrowing bond.
You were fairly comfortable with the women who you knew were your mates, but you weren’t quite ready to take the leap and admit your feelings. You also weren’t really fond of this little surprise they had sprung on you for your team-bonding night seating arrangements.
Every seat in the hotel room was taken except for the one in between your mates on one of the queen size beds.
“Are we going to pretend that you two didn’t plan this?” You growled at the alphas, who were shrinking back into the bed.
“We didn’t!” They exclaimed, Becky, holding her hands up in surrender while Alyssa seemed to tuck into herself (which was completely hilarious because of how big she was). They both released a little bit of their scents (along with several members of the team), hoping to appease your very unamused inner omega.
“Well, it’s one hell of a coinkydink that the only open seat is between you,” You huffed, not buying the innocent act they were playing up.
Your alphas sent a pleading look towards the ringleader of this particular attempt, “They had nothing to do with this short stack. It was all Sammy’s idea,” Kelley shrugged.
“Hey!” Sam exclaimed at the same time Mal giggled out a “Right under the bus,”
You glared at the omega’s who had become your friends over the past several camps. “You all need to stop meddling,”
Kelley rolled her eyes. You were utterly adorable when you were trying to be grumpy (Kelley was sure your alphas would agree- if the looks they were giving you were anything to go by). “Yeah, yeah. Just sit down already,” she said, kicking your butt from her place cuddling into Emily on the other bed.
You tipped forward, landing in Becky’s lap with a huff. She steadied your shoulders as you scrambled from her lap (ignoring the way your inner omega preened at the attention).
“You alright darling?” Alyssa asked, watching carefully as you wiggled in between them into a more comfortable position.
“Mm fine,” You mumbled, sighing when you finally found a comfortable position (completely ignoring the fact that it had you pressing into Alyssa’s taller frame). She smiled indulgently at you, slowly working her arm behind both you and Becky to make herself a more comfortable pillow for you.
Becky’s hand came up to rub soothing circles on your arm, working her way very slowly up your shoulder and towards your neck. You hummed lightly, sinking further into Alyssa.
You couldn’t help how relaxed you were around the women. How absolutely safe you felt. Your eyes slowly dropped shut. You guessed the warmth of your mates (the soothing pheromones they were releasing) was causing your exhaustion to finally catch up with you. But you still didn’t want to fall asleep. It would make you a perfect target for a joke from the other youngins.
“Just relax, we’ll take care of you,” Alyssa whispered into your hair, placing a very sweet kiss on your temple.
“Promise?” You asked, quaking an eyebrow. They had gained your trust over the last six months, but you still needed to make sure before you let go completely.
“Always,” Becky nodded. You hummed in agreement, finally giving in to the pull of sleep, confident that your alphas would ward off any unwanted pranks.
*****
You were having the best time ever. You were never really a fan of bars or dancing, but here with the rest of your team, you were having a blast.
Mal leaned heavily into your side “How do you do it?” She asked, her words still clear despite how many margaritas she’d had.
“Do what?” Your eyebrows furrowing. You had no idea where this conversation was going, but if the shift in pheromones was anything, it wasn’t going to be a place you wanted to actually talk about.
“Resist the urge to mate for so long,” Mal snorted, as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.
You felt heat flood your cheeks, traveling all the way up to your neck towards your ears. You didn’t have a lot of good experiences with alphas, and in the beginning, the quiet stillness of your mates had unnerved you. You wondered when they would drop the calm and patient act and try to take what they believed was theirs.
Over time, you learned that they never would. They would never cross a boundary you weren’t comfortable conceding. You learned how to trust them, how to finally let yourself begin to lean into the feelings your inner omega so strongly believed in. You were getting closer and closer to finally being ready for them, it had just taken you longer than most (something your alphas assured you they were fine with).
“I-... I don’t,” You stuttered, but it seemed like Mal didn’t even realize your internal spiraling.
“I was barely able to hold out for a week with Rosie. We met and it was like bang- insta-heat,” she rambled on leaning in very close to your ear, her head lolling to the side on your shoulder. “they love you, you love them, so what’s the holdup?”
You sighed. You did love them, and your inner omega yearned to finally take them as your mates, but it was just so overwhelming. You didn’t want your relationship to be dictated by instincts, but you wouldn’t deny that you were slowly falling for the women who had worked their way into your heart.
“I’m trying to get-...” You started, only to get interrupted by a new presence right over your shoulder.
“Hey ladies, what are two little omegas doing here by their little lonesome,” He said, flashing you what you assumed was his most charming smile as he pumped out his cloying scent.
Your nose wrinkled involuntarily- his calling pheromones were absolutely disgusting to the earthy sweetness your mates sometimes used to help you calm yourself down.
“We’re not alone. Thanks,” You mumbled, pulling Mal tighter to you. She may act like your protector for the most part, but that didn’t mean that you wouldn’t step up.
The alpha chuckled, stepping closer to you and placing an unwanted hand on your arm. “Oh contrare. You can’t fool me with that omega on omega shit,”
More of his disgusting scent pressed over you, calling for your submission. You steeled yourself, fighting against the urge. You had raced worse on the soccer pitch from opponents far more dominant than this duchbag. He didn’t deserve the honor of your submission.
“Don’t touch me,” You growled, staring him defiantly in the eyes and shrugging his grip off your arm.
His lips twitched as though he was amused by your defiance. “Come on baby, quit playing so hard to get,” he said, his hand returning just a little bit higher on your arm. You winced at the tight hold, opening your mouth to respond, only to be cut off from a low and dangerous growl from behind the man. “I believe she said to let go,” Alyssa said.
“Now!” Becky added, and it felt like something in your chest loosened. Their pheromones drowned out his scent, wrapping around you like the world’s softest blanket. Like everything would be alright now that they were here.
The alpha smirked and shot a low growl back at the two enraged alphas. “Whoa, calm down. She’s just playing a little hard to get. Now get lost, I was here first,”
Becky stepped forward, gripping the alpha’s forearm so tightly you were sure his bones were straining under the stress. “You will take your hand off our mate before we remove it for you,” She rumbled, the sound resonating in her chest, as Alyssa stepped in between you and the alpha, acting as a shield.
“Fuck you guys,” The alpha hissed, finally letting go of you and storming off to go harass some other omega’s.
That when you noticed everything was shaking, or maybe it was you that was shaking? At some point during the exchange, Rose had come to retrieve Mal, dragging her away from the cloud of angry and dominant pheromones.
Alyssa turned and pulled you inter her arms, and you buried your face in her chest. Becky hugged you from behind, encapsulating you in their warmth and protection.
“You alright, babydoll?” Becky asked as Alyssa started to purr to soothe you.
“Hmm, just hold me,” You hummed, your omega finally calming down. The arms of your alphas tightened around you. You were safe with them, and they would always be there for you. You knew that.
“Always darling,”

----------------
"Hey Jarvis, call everyone in for a team meeting." Tony says as he walks into the main common area with Pepper right behind him. His fresh appearance made the ginger smile, but she was a little worried for the conversation that Tony was about to have with everyone.
"Do you really think that this is a good idea, Tony? I mean everyone just returned from the month long Sokovia Reconstruction Project. Don't you think they need to rest a little before you throw this on them?" She sighed as she sat down on the couch, Tony following suit with a drink in hand.
"I think this will be the perfect way to relax, plus it will help the new kid get a chance to bond with everyone without anything getting in her way." He paused, sipping his beverage. "I know this might not interest everyone immediately, but I think a little vacation time is just what the team needs." He responded with thin lips and Pepper took a deep breath.
"Okay. I trust you." She smiles and leans on him, a pause entering the conversation. Tony looked at her.
"Did you not trust me before?" He mocked and she giggled.
"At least if the team doesn't want to go on a vacation, much less relax, I really hope you're right in assuming that it will help Talia fit in." She sighed.
"Didn't you just say that you trusted me?" He messes with Pepper again, starting to hear voices down the hall.
"Oh my Gods. Shut up, here they come." She sits up as the rest of the team enters the common area.
Bruce enters first with Clint who now has a fresh bandage on his upper arm, the two of them arriving from the med bay apparently. Thor, Steve and Pietro also enter, followed by Natasha and Wanda, who were whispering about something before sitting down with everyone else. The last two people needed were You and Peter, but y'all were nowhere to be seen.
"Alright, where are the kids?" Tony sarcastically rolled his eyes in await for a response from someone.
"Their not kids, Tony. Peter is, what... 20? and Talia is 26?" Steve chimes in.
"They're kids, Steve." Tony replied.
Natasha and Wanda locked eyes.
"26 is not a kid, Tony." Pietro looks confused, searching for reactions from anyone else.
"I agree with my brother." Wanda slightly smiles, but for her own reasons other than pissing off Tony. People murmured in agreement.
Tony breathes to retort, but all of a sudden, two voices are heard in the hall, yours included.
"IM GONNA BEAT YOU!"
"NO YOU'RE NOT, WEB KID." You shout back.
Tony raises an eyebrow as you accuse Peter of being a "kid", but everyone has turned their attention to the hallway to see what is about to come out of it. The next thing everyone registers is a spider string grabbing onto the cement post behind the couch and Peter practically flying into the room.
You leaped at his feet to stop him, but you were too late, and instead fell over the couch onto Nat and Wanda. Unintentionally, of course.
"HAHA TALIA! I BEAT YOU! I WON." You collected your breath before yelling back.
"YOU DIPSHIT! YOU CHEATED! YOU SAID NO POWERS." You slowly picked yourself up off of the two women, fully aware of the slightly awkward situation you were in at the moment. Too focused on Peter, you failed to notice Natasha and Wanda locking eyes and blushing, but you know you certainly were. Perhaps the red cheeks passed as exhaustion from sprinting down the hall.
"I DIDN'T USE POWERS, TAL!" He held out his wrists. "See!" You locked eyes. "Technology." Peter tapped his web shooters pridefully and sat down on the couch where you were standing. "Plus, I said no powers because you can literally teleport." He finished.
"Whatever." You rolled your eyes and looked for a new spot on the couch, only seeing a small gap at Nat and Wanda's thighs.
That's funny. That wasn't there before.
You blushed before taking your seat.
"You were right, Tony." Wanda started on your right, looking straight into your eyes, making you silently squirm. "They're absolute kids."
Your eyes widened at the comment, and although you knew it was true, you mockingly slapped her thigh, not at all missing the deep shade of red that her cheeks turned. She has a girlfriend who is on the opposite side of me. Why did I think that would be a good idea? If only you knew that Natasha's cheeks were impossibly red too.
"Ouch, Wanda. That hurt my feelings." You sighed, sinking into the cushions behind you.
"Adults don't run in the halls, Talia."
Your stomach turned as your name rolled off of her accent.
"K-Kids don't run in the halls either. They're not allowed to." You mustered up a terrible comeback, noticing Peter's grin across from you, attempting not to break. He was the only one who knew about your little crush on Nat and Wanda, so his reaction was even more taunting.
At your remark though, Natasha placed her hand on your thigh and pushed it down to your knee, leaning to whisper in your ear.
You could practically feel her lips against your skin as you were silently panicking at the nearly non existent space between the two of you. "Disobedient ones do," She whispered.
And that shut you up real quick, you're whole face experiencing a new shade and eyes a new size. You missed the wink Nat shared with Wanda, and even the first parts of Tony's conversation went a little over your head.
"Alright, team, So I was thinking,"
"That's rare." Clint quipped, Tony glaring at him.
"I was thinking... that since we just had an amazing and fruitful month long mission in Sokovia, that you all would be in need of some vacation time." He started and people perked up.
"You mean like getting time off?" Steve asked.
"No." Now the team looked confused. "Since Talia is a recent addition, and Peter is... relatively new as well... i was thinking we could take a group trip to the beach!" He added a little excitement to the end of his sentence, but he was the only one who really shared that sentiment.
Banner tilted his head. "We don't really do that kinda stuff, Tony." He grumbled.
"Well, why not start? We could use some bonding time, and we're a family, right? This is what families do! C'mon! Ittl be fun."
"Sounds fun to me?" You chimed in, excited to have an opportunity to spend some time with everyone without being in imminent danger. Everyone looked at you. "I don't know too much about this group dynamic yet, since all i've done with the Avengers yet is reconstruction projects in Sokovia, but when I work in a team, I like to know who i'm working with." You paused. "Plus a beach. Relaxing. Movie nights, surfs, and crabs." You saw one or two eyebrows raise. "Who doesn't like crabs." You now sat in awkward silence.
"Talia is right!" Tony started again. "It will just be for two weeks, and I already rented the island. You're doing it."
"YOU RENTED AN ISLAND???" Peter jumped up.
"Yeah Kid, go pack your shit. Be here at 8 in the morning." Tony softly smiled and watched as he ran down the hall to the elevators.
"THERES ONLY ONE WASHING MACHINE SO PACK ENOUGH!"
"OK, MR. STARK!"
"AND TELL AUNT MAY I SAID HELLO!"
"GOODNIGHT, MR. STARK!"
The conversation returned to silence.
"Ok, you saw the kid. Get to packing!" Tony smiled, and you were happy. This was your first shot at family, so you didn't want to fuck it up.
It was also your chance to be close with Natasha and Wanda, and even though they were dating, you had appreciated their friendship during the SRP (Sokovia Rebuilding Project) and you didn't want it to come to an end. Your crush might be pointless, but that doesn't stop you from wanting to be around them. Hopefully you will get over it soon.
Later that night in the tower, Natasha and Wanda were having their own thoughts about you.
"What do you think, honey? Now is the perfect time to ask Talia." Wanda made another trip from the closet to her suitcase while Natasha sat on the bed and watched her pack.
"Yeah, she's just a little new and I don't wanna scare her off."
"Well look at the three of us in Sokovia. If she isn't scared off now by an assassin and powerful witch, then what else is there to be scared of?" Wanda pushed out a half- hearted laugh.
"No, I guess you're right. We found someone that we feel completes us, right? We have to chase that feeling." Natasha smiled and Wanda sat down next to her.
"Exactly. And if she says no, we never bring it up again."
"Of course." She paused. You did see her blush today though, no?" This made Wanda smile.
"She's so cute, Nat. She was so flustered." The witch paused. "What did you say to her that made her shut up completely? It turned me on, watching her react like that." She slowly kissed Natasha's neck.
"Well, she had said 'Kids don't run in the halls. They're not allowed to.'," Wanda nodded, remembering the comment. "I told her that the disobedient ones do.'" The girls blushed, Nat at the memory and Wanda at the image.
"So she liked that? Imagine calling her 'good girl', Natasha. Imagine telling her to behave and punishing her when she doesn't."
"God, Wanda, don't even get me started." The spy almost moaned as her girlfriend slowly straddled her.
"We can edge her endlessly and make her beg." Wanda's hips rolled as her lips found a spot on Natasha's collar bone. "You can make her cum so many times while I eat you out too."
Natasha was in bliss, not wanting to stop, even though they should. "Let's go ask her first before letting go of our imaginations, honey. We can finish this later too."
"You have a point." Wanda sighed and rested her head on Natasha's shoulder. "Let's go."
Meanwhile, you were looking through your closet for swimsuits, which was still a little bit of a mess since you just moved in. Finally, you found the box with the suits, and not so gracefully, you placed it on your bed. As you began to sort out the tops from the bottoms and the sets from the one-pieces, you heard a knock at your door.
You turned your music down and opened the door to find the two women who filled your daydreams, leaving you momentarily speechless. Quickly snapping out of it though, you almost stumbled through your words.
"Hey Tasha, Wanda, what's up?" You acted like their presence was nothing, turning around and continuing to sort out your swim wear. You managed to toss a yellow suit back into the box and a white one into the case before they said anything.
"Is it alright if we come in?" Wanda asked. You blushed, realizing you never invited them inside.
"Of course! Sorry if you find my room a little messy, but i'm still moving in." You pushed a collection of clothes off of the end of the bed. "You may sit if you like, though." You swallowed as the two of them took you up on your offer. Natasha and Wanda are both on my bed. It's cool....
"So what can I do for you?" You continued your packing, now holding up a red bikini in the mirror before tossing it back into the box. Natasha and Wanda shared a look.
"We actually have an odd question to ask you, Talia." The Sokovian started. "A proposal, if you will." This now got your full attention, and you pull over your desk stool to sit in front of them. "As you know Natasha and I love each other very much." You begin to worry, thinking that they felt uncomfortable around you or that your crush was too obvious. Natasha picked up the conversation.
"The two of us have loved each other for a long time, and it will continue to be like this, Talia. Nothing is faulty in our relationship. We have health communication tactics and we know how to handle the other when something is wrong." You were a little confused now, and not as much worried, so you continued listening. "Something that has always been a part of our relationship, though, is the knowledge and idea that we might be in search of someone else. Another piece to our puzzle, if you will." Your heart was racing now, the conversation switching back to Wanda.
"We are asking you if you would like to join our relationship, Talia." You shivered at the accent again, but you couldn't process thoughts anymore. The two exact women that you only thought you would dream about are now in front of you, asking you to be with them. You with them. Natasha and Wanda. "If you say no, you can forget this ever happened and we will never mention it again."
They awaited any response from you.
"And if I say yes?" You almost whispered, Natasha and Wanda's hearts beating loud, but maybe not as much as yours.
"This vacation would be our trial and error. You can test the waters. Play your part. You tell us whenever you're uncomfortable or are having second thoughts and no questions asked, that's it. We just really like you and wanted to offer you a spot with us."
"And this isn't a joke?" You spoke softly, your thoughts and heart going a mile a minute. This is really happening. My crushes are telling me that they want me. Me? They both shake their head, and you stare in disbelief.
"This is real, Talia." Nat nearly whispers. "Entirely real."
Your own thoughts betray you as you stand up and slowly walk over to the two women.
You tried to think about what you wanted to say, but took the risk to stop thinking before you speak. "I have been seriously crushing on the both of you for a while now, and treating you like the kind of opportunity that I only get in my rarest dreams. I've been staring at you and imagining things that go way beyond the boundaries of friends...." Their breaths hitched. "so I swear if you are fucking with me-" Your breath is heavy and hot now as the three of you are inches away.
"We're not fucking with you, Talia." Wanda whispers. "We just want to fuck you."

Six Days Seven Nights
Feeling pretty rough after getting my 2nd vax shot so I decided to treat myself to a terrible movie just because it has Harrison Ford and Temuera Morrison and I like a good shipwreck story. So how it was it, you ask?
What is it with 90s movies where smart girls all have small breasts (and are insecure about it) and full figured women are bimbos.
Other notable 90s references: Kmart, doctors handing out Xanax like candy, flip phones with antennas.
Harrison Ford acts drunk they way I played a drunk college student in a campus police skit without ever having been drunk.
Please David Schwimmer, do not say "cream me up" in reference to sunscreen. PLEASE.
My first purse was one of those nylon macrame things Anne Heche carries.
Temuera Morrison plays a pirate. His pirate crew includes former and future co-stars Cliff Curtis and Danny Trejo. The pirates seem like they're having more fun than anyone else in this movie.
At once point the pirates are conversing in another language and according to the IMDB trivia page TM and CC were discussing what to make for dinner in Maori :D
The pirates are seen taking over a yacht and before he murders the owner TM takes a swig of champagne and then pours some of it over his head. There's no reason for it but it's important to me that you know this.
Seriously I think Harrison Ford heard "Hawaii" and "You can fly a plane" and was like "yeah I can sleepwalk through that."
Guilty kissing in the surf. So many flavors. Salt. Sand. Guilt.
Okay, the "I wanna kiss you" moment was pretty hot. HF can get it, as per usual.
HF's character admits to being over 50 but whispers his real age to Anne Heche even though there's no one else around. 50 is the max age for male romantic leads, apparently.
The scene where they fix the plane is actually pretty cool? Someone had fun figuring out how they could rig up pulleys and dig out trenches to make a lift.
Predictable ending. HF runs to the airport, thinks he's missed her. His entire wardrobe for this movie cost about $8.

PIXELS: Earth but the Video Game Aliens are Self-Aware
In the year 1982, a video game tournament is held. The reason? The victors will have their footage included in a series of tapes being sent to space. The winners and losers of this tournament is where our story begins!
Tumblr media
Gordon Freeman, who came second place in his final match (Donkey Kong), is now your average run-of-the-mill geek squad guy. He works to provide for his son, Joshua, who’s a fan of modern video games (”you pretend you’re the guy and you don’t wanna die!”)
Tumblr media
Gordon goes to Dr. Darnold Pepper’s house to install a new TV. The two of them hit it off (they do because the original movie hates women and I do not.), but Darnold thinks Gordon’s following him when they both head to the White House.
Tumblr media
He’s still friends with his childhood best friend, Tommy Coolatta, who’s now the President. (Bear with me here.) Tommy calls Gordon to the White House because their base in Guam was attacked last night, with alien formations that look remarkably similar to Galaga!
Gordon gets excused from the meeting about Guam thanks to general tomfoolery. As he’s heading home, he realizes there’s a new guest in his van.
Tumblr media
Forzen, nicknamed “The Wonder Kid” when arcade gaming was in its prime, was a boy genius whose skills rivalled Gordon’s. Unfortunately, he’s an even bigger loser nerd than Gordon and enjoys taping Baywatch reruns and Irate Gamer videos. Also, he hid in Gordon’s van because he’s quirky like that.
He shows Gordon a prerecorded video that interrupted his channel surfing.
Tumblr media
Apparently, a race of aliens have received the tapes, and they wrongly believe that the footage of video games are footage of real warriors, and therefore a declaration of war. They communicate exclusively using old 80s VHS tapes, the only unifying element between them being a threat of war and a few cameos with a strange-looking man in them.
With another attack being launched on the Taj Mahal, Gordon and Forzen realize what’s going on. The aliens have given them 3 ‘lives’- and they’ve already wasted two.
Since the games are the specific 1982 versions, Gordon and Forzen are the only ones who know the patterns well enough to teach the Navy. (..Ignoring the obvious power fantasy here).
Darnold shows off to Tommy, Gordon and Forzen the new light cannons he invented, which can dissolve the light cubes the game warriors are made of.
The fight is taken to Hyde Park, where the Navy tries and fails to fight Centipede. Gordon and Forzen take the front lines, successfully winning and getting the humans a trophy of their victory. (...It’s Duck Hunt, and some random old man gets it.)
Now that Tommy’s realized the loser nerd gamers are the only ones who can possibly stand against this alien menace, they give them cool jumpsuits and call them Arcaders. Also, they need to talk to the man who beat Gordon at Donkey Kong all those years ago.
Tumblr media
Bubby is an old man. Gordon is a normal man. An adult bragged about beating a teen in video games.
This says a lot about the type of person Bubby is.
He calls himself “the Fireblaster”, and says he’s still the best, calling Gordon “second place” all the time.
The three of them (along with Darnold because the original setup was the creator of Pac-Man was there too but I think Darnold should have fun.) head to New York City, where a giant Pac-Man is destroying the city. To defeat Pac-Man, you need ghosts, so the four of them used modified Mini Coopers.
Gordon gets his arm bitten off by Pac-Man because he tried to reason with it like an idiot, which leaves him hiding in an alley for most of the chase. Forzen gets taken out when they realize Pac-Man has access to power pellets, as does Darnold, but with Bubby’s lightning-fast driving skills, he manages to beat Pac-Man. Unfortunately, he drives into the river, leaving only Gordon. Gordon fakes Pac-Man out by driving up a parking garage and waiting for Pac-Man’s 10-second power pellet to run out.
They won! As a gift, the aliens bestow a fighter from Punch-Out!! (Dr. Coomer. He’s not really in punch out but work with me here) upon them as their second trophy.
The president throws a celebratory gala! Forzen gets to sing his heart out, Gordon and Darnold hang out, Tommy decides Coomer is the most powerful old man...
But then the aliens come on screen, enraged. Apparently, they ‘broke the rules of warfare’, therefore forfeiting, and they say they’ll come to destroy Earth.
Everyone is confused, and we learn thanks to Joshua, Bubby wrote cheat codes on his sunglasses and he’s a big fat cheater.
...Unfortunately the aliens also take Joshua as a Trophy.
Bubby skips town, and the world has gone to shit.
Everything looks shitty, until Tommy saves Gordon from a Creature with his crane game skills of old. He’s suited up to become an Arcader himself!
Forzen volunteers to fight the aliens on the ground, as does Bubby, when he comes back, but Darnold, Tommy, Gordon and Coomer go to face the mothership. In there, they learn that the aliens have a boss who’s taken a human form and calls himself Benrey (he mostly takes the form to mock the humans, though, also he’s been appearing in the little 80′s clip shows the aliens use to communicate). He challenges Gordon to a final match- Donkey Kong. The irony.
Gordon manages to beat Donkey Kong, saving the world and also getting his son back! Cool.
Tommy makes a peace treaty with the aliens, who agree to leave, but Benrey and Coomer decide to stay on Earth, because it’s cool and funny.
Cue 80s ending track.

Salty Encounter
Reader is a surfing, fishing badass and Reid and Morgan come to her surf shop to ask her about an unsub. Set in North Carolina so it’s not that far from Virginia.
Word count: 1,270 words
Enjoy!!
---
The early morning sun poked through the curtains of my bedroom above the shop, alerting me it was time to start the day. I put on my ratty white bikini top and jean shorts- standard surf shop attire.
“God, I hate spring break,” I mumbled as I walked down the stairs into my cozy shop. Surfboards lined the walls, all kinds of drinks and snack on display for whoever walks through the door.
Nine o’clock came and went, and my employee Keegan still didn’t show for work. His half-assed buddies, Tommy and Fritz, did though.
“Hey sweets.” Tommy grabbed onto my hips as I was restocking on beers. “Wanna come with us on a boat ride?”
“No, I have work to do,” I barely acknowledged him as I twisted my body out of his grip.
“Aw, c’mon, YFN,” Fritz slurred. “You work too hard.”
I power walked behind my desk and closed the small gate. The two dudes leaned over the desk, each with a dumb smile.
“Wow, it’s barely noon and you’re already drunker than a sailor?” I said sarcastically. “Get out of my shop and use that drunken charm somewhere else.”
Tommy’s face went from smug to angry in a second. He grabbed my arm and pulled it across the desk. “You little bitch-”
“Hey! FBI! Get your hands off that lady.”
The hell? What was the FBI doing in my old surf shop?
“Whoa, c’mon man, let’s go.” The two assholes practically stumbled out of my shop and ran down the path to the beach.
I suddenly felt very exposed in my ratty old bikini top and jean shorts. One guy was dark skinned, muscular, and very serious. The other guy was not as striking, but almost sheepish, his fluffy hair and dark brown eyes already endearing. It was actually really cute.
“Are you YFN YLN?” The dark skinned man asked. I nodded, very confused, and he continued. “My name is SSA Derek Morgan, and this is Dr. Spencer Reid. May we ask you a few questions?”
Doctor? Damn.
“Um, yeah sure, of course. What is it?” My stomach churned with my awkwardness.
“We’re here to ask about the drowning murders that have been occurring in the area.” The cute one, Dr. Reid, placed five photos of young women on my desk. “Do you recognize any of these women?”
I thought for a second. “The first three I don’t know, but the last two girls came through my shop a few days ago. They both just bought towels and beer and then left.”
Agent Morgan furrowed his eyebrows. “They were here together?”
“Yeah, is that important?”
Dr. Reid turned to Agent Morgan. “If they were partying together, the unsub likely saw that as a challenge he couldn’t resist. That explains how Samantha Brown survived, he couldn’t handle two victims at once.”
Um, what? “Hang on, if she survived, couldn’t she just tell you what happened?”
Morgan looked back at me. “She can’t tell us what happened because right now she is in the hospital with her head bashed in and is in a coma.”
I looked down at the pictures again. All these women were murdered, and I couldn’t help but notice they all looked a little like me. “Oh, damn.”
Dr. Reid pulled out a sixth photo. “This an image of the killer we caught on a hotel security camera. Do you recognize him at all?”
Shaggy blonde hair, khaki shorts, and a ratted surf shirt. The cigarette ties it all together. “Oh god. That’s one of my employees, Keegan Harris. He hasn’t shown up for work in the last two days.”
Morgan seemed to burst out. “Do you have a bathroom I could use really fast?”
“Uh, yeah it’s outside and says ‘Men’s room’.” Morgan practically ran out the door.
Reid chuckled. “Yeah, he was complaining in the car about having to go. That was three hours ago, and the average person can hold their bladder for longer, but he’s in a competition to see who can drink the most water with one of our coworkers.”
I smiled, and peered up at him flirtatiously. “Hey, Dr. Reid? Do you have a girlfriend?”
He seemed very surprised by my question. “Well, um, no. No, I don’t. Um, do you... have a boyfriend?”
I laughed bitterly. “Between giving kids surfing lessons and working here, it wasn’t really on my mind. So no, I don’t have a boyfriend.”
Something seemed to occur to him. “Um, so this guy... the killer. He probably won’t come back here, but if he does.” He pulled out a card with a phone number on it. “Give me a call.”
I smiled and reached for his card, and right as my fingers touched it, the card disappeared. “Where’d it go?”
Dr. Reid gave a small smile and walked backwards towards the door. “Check your back pocket. And YFN?”
“Yes, Dr. Reid?”
“Call me Spencer.”
---
It had been a few hours since my run-in with the FBI, and I was bored out of my mind.
Suddenly Keegan walked in the door, holding a beer and looking extremely angry. I pulled out Spencer’s number and quickly dialed it.
“Hey, YFN.”
“Hi, can I get a large double cheese pizza please?” Keegan stalked around the shop, glaring at all the merchandise.
“Is he with you right now?” Spencer’s voice turned dead serious.
I tried to keep my voice from trembling. “Yes, that’s correct.”
“We’re on our way. Stay on the phone.”
“Could I add an order of mozzarella sticks too please?” Keegan seemed to catch sight of me, and his scowl deepened. I shrieked and dropped my phone as he threw his beer bottle at me, narrowly missing my head. The phone shattered, ending the call with Spencer.
“You bitch!” Keegan yelled at me, grabbing my arms and flipping me to where my face pressed against the wall.
“Keegan, please don’t do this,” I breathed. I felt something slam against my head, and I fell to the ground.
---
The ground against my back was sandy and wet. I opened my eyes and saw  Keegan, smiling at me. “What-” my voice was cut off from the way he pressed my head under the waves. Fighting and clawing, and it did no use. Saltwater stung in my nose and throat, and my lungs burned.
He jerked me up and down in the water, and I could hear him laughing as I started to black out again.
A gunshot sounded far off and Keegan’s body fell on to mine under the water.

Despite the fact that I technically wasn’t breathing, I could still hear everything.
“Kid, she’s not breathing!” Morgan yelled over the sound of the waves.
In movies, CPR is demonstrated as romantic and heroic, but in reality, CPR is rough and painful.
Warm hands pressed down in the middle of my chest, but I couldn’t expel the saltwater that filled my lungs. I felt lips press against mine, and they forced a breath that traveled through my esophagus. Another breath, and water shot up my throat and left my mouth.
After a few moments of coughing, I took a painful, shaky breath. Hands held my arms as I started panicking.
“Hey, YFN! Look at me, look at me.” Spencer held my shoulders until I stopped thrashing, and I relaxed my head on the sand. “You’re going to be okay.”
I peered up at him, suddenly very tired. “Your eyes look like coffee. Will you get coffee with me?”
Spencer smiled and held my hand as they put me on a stretcher. “Absolutely, I would love to.”

Summertime prompts list: 27 or 28 with rami? Please and thank youuu😘
I tried to do both—hope it turned out okay! “Late night talks around a bonfire—confessions (27) —serious musings (28).”
* * * * *
The sun was just setting and for a moment, you looked out at the ocean and let yourself get lost in her expanse, the sound of her surf, and the way the hues of the sky were melding with the hues of her water to become one palette of midnight-blues.
“Earth to Y/N!” your friend said, tugging on your ponytail.
“What? Sorry—I was just thinking.”
“Surprise, surprise. I wanted to know if you were ready for Moscato?”
“Ooo yes! I wanna see if the bottle I bought is any good.”
“The apple?”
“Yeah—how’d you—”
Your friend cut you off by handing you a wine tumbler as they took another sip from their own.
“It’s really good,” they confirmed as you took a drink, relishing in the sweet burst of the wine on your tongue and smiling as a strong flavor of crisp, green apples lingered once you swallowed.
“That’s gonna be dangerous.”
Smiling, you spread out the red and black checkered blanket you brought, ignoring the crumbs of sand that inevitably crept their way over the freshly laid fabric, and plopped down, wiggling your bum to encourage the sand beneath to provide you a more comfortable seat.
You watched as a few of your friends lit the bonfire and before you knew it, the sun had been replaced by the moon, nothing but the big fire’s glow and a few tiki torches left to light up the night.
Buzzed from the wine, the laughter, or maybe just from the ocean herself as she continued to crash on the shore, your eyes widened when a sudden whoop of cheers erupted. Immediately, your eyes met Rami’s. Swallowing thickly, you refilled your tumbler and retreated back to your blanket, wondering what the hell he was doing here.
As Rami made his round of hellos, someone turned on their speaker and music filled the night, loud enough to issue a challenge to the crackling bonfire and to the ocean.
“Come on! Come dance,” your friend pleaded, and you waved them off.
“I need way more booze in my system before I dance.”
Your friend laughed and gave you the middle finger as they headed into the small crowd that had begun dancing on the opposite side of the bonfire.
“Anyone sitting with you?” a deep, familiar voice sounded and you took your time traveling up the owner of that voice’s body before you met his gaze.
Rami looked like . . . Rami.
He was dressed in a pair of slim-fit, green shorts that stopped about two inches above his knee, and a blue or grey lightweight button down, loosely buttoned to show a portion of his chest, the sleeves of his shirt rolled up at his elbows. He was wearing a pair of worn canvas flip-flops, and when you shook your head “no” and he sat down, the smell of his cologne washed over you like a baptism.
“How are you?” he asked.
“Same old,” you shrugged. “I think the more interesting question in this situation is how are you?”
Rami smiled softly, his pretty eyes finally turning away from you and toward the fire.
“Tired.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he affirmed, giving you time to take a sip of wine.
“Ready for a drink?”
“I did a little pre-gaming,” he confessed as he shifted just a bit closer to you so he could reach into his back pocket and retrieve a small, silver flask.
“And you drove out here?” you asked, narrowing your eyes.
Rami laughed as he answered, “Still giving me shit, Y/N? I missed that.”
Rami’s eyes connected with yours and everything you’d ever felt for him came rushing back—the good, the bad, and the neverwas. Those feelings sloshed around in your gut like the sweet, summer wine you had been drinking, and when you finally broke free from his gaze, you took a shaky breath as you realized you felt like you were on fire, your skin set to melt at any second.
“Rami fuckin’ Malek! How are you? And where the fuck’s Sami?”
As Rami reached out to clasp his old friend’s hand, you shot off the blanket and escaped what you thought was the heat of the bonfire. As you brushed the remnants of some sand off the backs of your thighs, you walked down the beach until you were out of the light and immersed in shadow.
The Rami sitting around tonight’s bonfire no longer led the same life as the Rami from a few years ago who had shown up on your doorstep, grinning like a madman to tell you he landed the lead of a TV show. This Rami—this Rami was an international movie star.
He wasn’t the same man . . . was he?
As you made your way back to the bonfire, you shook off your thoughts and were nearly free of Rami’s intrusion until he was suddenly there, right in front of you, holding out your cup.
“You left this—thought you might want it.”
“Thanks, Ram,” you said, reaching for the tumbler and as you took it from Rami’s grip, his fingers brushed yours and when that old surge of electricity shivered through your skin, you knew you were fucked.
“Wanna, uh, toast with me?” he asked, his eyes flicking up from the way they had been watching your lips move when you thanked him.
Shaking your head and unable to hide your smile, you said, “Sure—but you better have something good to say.”
“Still giving me shit.”
You laughed and kicked some sand over his toes. “Shut up and toast already.”
Rami took a deep, dramatic breath and said, “To the possibility of tomorrow. Or tonight. To the possibility of possibility.”
You giggled and raised your glass, and he clicked his own tumbler that someone must have handed off to him with yours.
“That was a terrible toast.”
Rami swallowed his wine and grinned closing the distance between the two of you and wrapping you up in a strong hug.
Your brain short-circuited for a moment as you were assaulted by memories of friendship, and your sometimes more than friendship, the memories crashing like the dimmed din of the ocean until you just let yourself go, let yourself get swept out to the sea that had always been Rami. Rami fucking Malek.
“I missed your smartass mouth,” he said as he kissed your jaw near your ear and released you from his grip.
“I missed how expensive you smell.”
“You used to tell me that when I was buyin’ shit that was like 30 bucks a bottle.”
“It’s just the magic of you, I guess,” you grinned as you reached up and tweaked his chin.
“I’m not magic—I’m not even sure what the fuck I am anymore,” Rami said through a smile, his eyes containing more seriousness than you were prepared for.
“Oh, now that’s deep,” you said, your brows furrowing with slight concern, but your voice still holding a teasing lilt. “Don’t go all tortured artist on me now. Surely you didn’t come out tonight to muse about your life?”
Rami was quiet for a moment, taking a sip from his cup before he said, “I came out to see you.”
You groaned and closed your eyes for a second before replying, “Scratch that, Alex. I’ll take Tortured Artist for 300.”
Rami laughed quietly, “I meant it when I said—”
“Rami?! Dude! Thought you were Sam! How the fuck they hangin, man?”
Saved again, you returned to the comfort of your blanket, but pulled it away from the fire and out of the light of one of the tiki torches. You flopped down onto your back, your heels dug comfortably into the sand as you enjoyed the cool breeze that wafted up from the ocean instead of the intense heat of the bonfire.
“Rami’s here!” your best friend announced as she landed next to you, flecks of sand pinging against your arm.
“I know.”
“You talked to him?”
“He talked to me.”
“He talked to you?”
You chuckled. “Yes, sweet drunk. He talked to me. Said he missed me.”
Your best friend launched herself half on top of you, her eyes looking ginormous as they peered into yours, the wine from her breath wafting over your face as she faux whispered, “Oh my fucking GOD.”
You reached up, laughing, and squished her cheeks as you said, “I KNOW!”
“Tell him. Tell him how you feeooph—"
“Finish that sentence and I’m garnishing my wine glass with your lips.”
She licked your fingers and you released her as she countered, “S’not a glass. It’s plastic.
You looked at each other and laughed, her rolling away to lay on her back next to you again for all of 30 seconds before another song came on that she liked.
In a stumbling flash, she was up and gone and your field of vision was once again unimpaired as you looked up at the night sky.
“Tryin’ to hide from me?” Rami asked as he sat down.
“You found me, so I’m not doing a very good job.”
Without looking, you could tell that Rami’s face fell by his tone when he said, “I’m sorry. I have no right to impose myself on you.”
Before he could get up, you reached out and grabbed his wrist.
“Don’t go.”
“You sure?”
You looked over at him and gave him a sweet smile.
“I’m sure. Besides, one of our pals is sure to interrupt us.”
Rami snorted, “Yeah. Lookin’ for Sami.”
“By the way, where is he?”
“Not you too,” Rami groaned as he laid on his back, mimicking your position with his knees bent and heels dug into the sand.
“Fine. Don’t answer. Shall we just dive right into your existential crisis?”
“I hate you,” Rami deadpanned.
“You brought it up by saying what the fuck even is my life earlier . . .”
“Sami is out with his new girlfriend. Didn’t bring her because she doesn’t like the beach.”
You sat up on your elbows and looked over at Rami. His eyes were closed, his wine cup nestled into the sand near his hand.
“She doesn’t like . . . the beach? That’ll last,” you finished with a snort.
He chuckled. “Haven’t met her yet, but I’m not feelin’ her. I think he’s still hung up on Annalise.”
“Who is here tonight, loving the beach . . . and that Pauly-D lookin’ guy she brought.”
“I texted him that as soon as I got here.”
“Snitch.”
Rami opened his eyes and twisted his head to look up at you.
“What? You’ve always been a snitch. And the two of you have always had the worst taste in women.”
Now Rami sat straight up and turned to face you, his face now hidden in shadow thanks to your distance from the fire. However, people seemed to have forgotten about you, so it didn’t look like you were going to be interrupted again.
“Like you’ve had better luck.”
“Keepin’ tabs on me?”
Rami shifted and you were able to see his face again, his eyes lit up with his desire to tease you.
“And if I am?”
“I’d really love to know why.”
Rami bit his lower lip, sucking it into his mouth before releasing it.
“I’d rather show you why.”
Your heart dropped into your stomach as you looked over at him, the night suddenly too hot again despite your distance from the bonfire.
His eyes held yours, more effective than any venom that could cause paralysis.
Your tongue wet your lips, seemingly of its own accord, and that was all the invitation Rami needed before he leaned over and kissed you, his warm hand sliding around the back of your head.
His lips were a little chapped, but when your tongue met the warm, wet, softness of his, desire replaced every conflicting emotion that had run amok in your mind that evening.
You pulled Rami closer as you laid flat on your back and he shifted, his body half covering yours as he explored your mouth.
When the kiss ended, you knew things would never be the same between you again. This was it—this was the moment when your relationship chose a side. No more straddling. No more giving, then taking back.
“Rami. I—”
“Shh. Just listen,” he interrupted, leaning up on his arm so he could look down at you. “No matter what happens to me, my first instinct is to talk to you. I just wanna hear your voice. I find myself living with you in my mind as this eternal figure of response. I always wonder what you would think about something. And I think that’s what’s happened in my past relationships—no matter who I’m with, the only voice I wanna hear is yours.”
You searched his face and were overwhelmed by the vulnerability you found written on it after his confession. For this single moment, you held the power to accept him or to reject him.
“Thank god you’ve finally pulled your head out of your ass to realize that what’s best for you has been right in front of your stupidcute nose this entire time.”
“In front of my stupidcute nose, huh?” Rami said, his face transformed by your acceptance.
“Yeah. I said it.”
“Wanna get out of here? Go someplace and talk?”
“I do,” you answered. “But first I really wanna make out with you.”
Rami laughed, a deep rumbling that sounded low in his throat and chest.
“Whatever you want, Y/N. I’m gonna do my fucking best to make sure you have it.”
Grinning, you pulled him into a kiss.

It’s called Drowning- Not Surfing (Bino!Child x USWNT)
Tumblr media
Request: Sequel (prequel) to You’re in Wubble Now detailing what happened with Tobin. Tobin takes reader Surfing and the little Daredevil gets a little more than she bargained for, while Tobin is just trying to be a responsible babysitter.
You sat on the beach, halfheartedly running the sand through your fingers, pouting up at your three favorite aunts (not that you would tell the others that). It was an off day at camp, and Kelley, Tobin, and Ashlyn had all decided to go to the beach. You begged your mom enough to convince her that you would be fine to go along, and the cool crew was always happy to have you.
What you didn’t realize was that they were going to spend the day surfing and that they had no intention of allowing you to join them in the waves. That and their girlfriends were going shopping so you had no one to hang out with you and knock a ball around on the beach with. Sure you were kinda tiny for 10, but you weren’t a wimp. You were capable of extreme sports.
“Come on Aunt Toby, I wanna be able to hang out with you and Aunt Kelley and Aunt Ash without being left alone on the beach,” you whined for the millionth time, giving the woman your best pout, fluttering your eyelashes at her.
“We always leave someone with you,” She groaned, wishing more than anything that Christen was here. Chris was always better at denying you things than she was. That dam pout was too powerful. How your mom denied you of anything, was far beyond her.
“I can do it guys, please?” You changed tactics, targeting Kelley instead. She was always the easiest to convince that you weren’t too small or too young to do something. She understood what it was like to be underestimated, and your enthusiasm always seemed to convince her to at least let you try. She threw her head back with a groan, unable to withstand the full power of your pout. Your moms were going to kill them for this.
“I mean she can snowboard and wakeboard. This isn’t that much different,” Kelley shrugged, ignoring Ashlyn’s raised eyebrows. Ash was well aware of your propensity for extreme sports and how you never really thought your death-defying acts through. She also knew how overprotective your parents were. If Megan found out that you had gone surfing without her explicit permission, it would probably be worse than the time they let you skateboard through the mall.
“I believe her mother said no death-defying stunts after you and Emily took her cliff diving in Hawaii,” Tobin rolled her eyes at you, crossing her arms firmly over her chest, adamantly looking away from you. You hadn’t told your mom that Emily was taking you cliff diving, and the sight of you diving off the tallest perch you could into the water had nearly given them a heart attack. Emily was just lucky that Lindsey was there to save her when Mama Pino got to her.
“You might be blowing this a little out of proportion, the waves are super small,” Ashlyn scoffed, patting Tobin on the back. You were an extremely athletic kid, and the waves were decidedly tiny. This was probably the least dangerous thing you could have asked to do, plus with the three women watching you, there would be no reason for Megan to flip out. You would be returned to her in perfect condition and hopefully, this would help your rambunctious self sleep tonight.
“Please, Aunt Toby?” You asked, your bottom lip trembling, your eyes wide and innocent.
“Fine, but if the waves get bigger, you’re coming back in,” Tobin huffed, rubbing the back of her neck, tightly closing her eyes. Megan was going to kill her if this didn’t turn out alright, and Alex and Christen would never let her live down her inability to say no to you.
“Yay!!” You squeezed, grabbing your child-sized board and rushing towards the water. Only to be stopped by Ashlyn’s warm hand on your arm.
“Whoa there scampi, let’s get some of the basics down on dry land first,” Kelley snorted, grabbing your other arm, so you couldn’t escape to the water with out the proper instruction. You sighed, your shoulders dropping. You didn’t wanna learn on land, you wanted to get into the water and just… surf.
“Fine,” You mumbled, making the women laugh. Tobin ruffled your hair as she led you towards a flat area near the water. You were going to be the death of them.
*****
Your head popped back up above the water, and you clutched onto the surfboard as you took big gulping breaths, a large smile etched on your face. You had just ridden a wave, well almost ridden. When you attempted to stand, your board flew out from beneath you, but you almost made it. The feeling of the ocean propelling you forward was intoxicating and you couldn’t wait to do it again.
“You ok kid?” Tobin questioned as she paddled up beside you, worriedly looking at you as you climbed back onto your board.
“Yeah, why did I fall?” You laughed, whipping your wet hair out of your face.
Tobin sighed. She knew one fall wouldn’t discourage you enough to quit, and one look of the determined face you were making told her that she was quite right. In fact, this may spur you on way more than anyone wanted it to. You had a habit of trying 10 times harder when something didn’t work out the first time. You were as stubborn as Sue and Megan combined.
“Your hands were too close together when you tried to push up, make them and your feet wider and you’ll be good to go,” She said, worriedly watching you as you paddled off towards Kelley. You had just flown off your board and you were already up and ready to go again. Tobin shook her head. Your parents were going to kill her.
*****
You sat farther out in the water, stat tilting your board, your hand playing with the surface, watching for waves with Kelley. Things had seemed to calm down for a bit, but you could feel the big one coming. It began to build in the distance, and you glanced at Kelley to see if this was the one. She smiled, reaching over to pat your leg.
“This one is a little big, I’m gonna take it and you wait for the next one alright?” She asked, turning around and getting into position. it was a set of three, and the first one was a monster that no beginner should even attempt, but the two behind it looked much more promising for you.
You huffed but nodded anyway. You would never get away with your plan if you didn’t placate her first. The wave looked sick and you would be dammed if you missed it. You waited for Kelley to start paddocking first, making sure that none of her attention was on you before you took off after her.
You felt the pulse of the wave pick you up, and you paddled even harder, waiting for just the right moment before standing on your board. Everything was perfect, you were perched atop a wave with the power of the ocean behind you. It was an addictive feeling of bliss, that was until it wasn’t. You let out an elated giggle, moving your arms like all the stereotypical surfers you had seen in movies do.
One second you were standing on your board, and the next you were in the water with no idea of what happened. You didn’t know which way was up or which way was down, all you knew was that you were being tossed around like a sock during the spin cycle.
You opened your eyes to try and get your bearings, but all you saw was bubbles. Before you knew it, you were shoved against something hard and dragged along it by the force of the water. The wave slammed you against the bottom over and over again without mercy. You needed to get off the bottom and back to the surface, and you needed to do it now. You were running out of air and the thought of never seeing your mom and mama again was terrifying. But it gave you the strength you needed to get moving.
Your lungs screamed in protest as you fought to get your feet underneath you, and launched yourself towards the surface.
*****
Tobin let out a breath when she saw your head break the surface. She saw you take a wave that was way to big for you, and she saw you crash out on said wave, and was paddocking the area when you didn’t immediately reappear above the water's surface. She shook her head, Megan wasn’t going to be happy when they told her you had almost drowned to death.
She quickly maneuvered towards your floating form and easily scooped you up and onto her board. You cling to her, water spraying from your nose as you coughed and tried to get enough air.
“Shh kid, your alright,” She murmured into your ear, rubbing your back with one hand and trying to get back to shore with the other.
You made it back to the beach with Ashlyn’s assistance, all three women looking at you worriedly when you didn’t unattach yourself from Tobin.
“Kell, get a towel,” Tobin gestured towards the bags as she finally got a good look at your shivering form. Your normally tan skin was pale, your eyes bloodshot. Kelley nodded, hesitating as she held up the requested material.
“I’m afraid to touch her back, sand in those cuts will hurt like a bitch,” She said, taking in the deep gashes along your spine. The reef was deep, so she never even thought about the possibility of you getting dragged along it, she also didn’t think that you’d try and take on a giant wave by yourself.
Ashlyn bit her lip, slipping her jacket off and wrapping it carefully around your shaking form, rubbing the back of your head in a comforting fashion. How she wished Ali was here, she was always good at comforting you. She let out a breath, they were totally going to be in trouble with your mom and their significant others when they caught a glimpse of your back.
“What the fuck is going on,” Megan’s voice sounded from behind them as she rushed towards you. She and the girls decided to surprise you and keep you company while the others surfed. They hadn’t expected to walk up on a rescue mission.
“Mama?” You asked, finally lifting your head from Tobin’s shoulder.
“Shit,” Tobing huffed as Christen shot her a “seriously” look. She had one job that she consistently failed miserably at, and that was preventing you from danger.
“Hey baby, I’m here,” You mama said softly, rubbing the back of your neck and gathering you up into her arms. You wobbled during the transfer from Tobin’s arms to your mom’s, whimpering when her comforting hands pressed too hard on the cuts on your back. Your mom’s eyebrows furrowed when you flinched, and then grabbed you head from the dizziness.
“You didn’t hit your head on the bottom right?” Kelley asked with wide eyes. They were extremely lucky that you hadn’t been knocked out.
“Excuse me, the bottom? Please tell me that you didn’t let her go surfing in that,” Megan gave the women her best mama glare, gesturing towards the monster set that was crashing on the shore.
“Was smaller,” You groaned, her raised voice only intensifying your headache. Your chest was burning, your back was stinging and all you wanted was to cuddle up with your mama and let her and Roary take away your pain.
“let’s go get you checked out by the doc on baby? I think you might have a concussion,” Megan’s voice softened, as she ran worried hands through your hair. You were a little daredevil, something that she always hoped you would grow out of, and now you could have gotten seriously hurt. She knew that you were frightened just by the way you were clinging to her. They needed to get you checked out and into some comfier clothing. She didn’t like the way you were shivering.
****
“Hey Babes, you doing ok?” Your mom grinned through the phone, smiling at how cute you looked cuddled up with her wife on one side and your famed stuffed triceratops on the other. You forced your eyelids open, blinking slowly at your mama. The painkillers the doctors had given you were making you very tired.
“We’re doing better, aren't we little one?” Megan answered, nudging your side, mindful of the gauze that covered most of your back. Sue’s eyebrows furrowed. She hated that she wasn’t there to help Megan comfort you.
“Much better,” You added sleepily, rubbing Roary’s soft fur on your nose. You shifted slightly, giving Sue a great view of the bruises that covered the tops of your shoulders.
“I’m going to kill Tobin, Ash, and Kelley when I see them,” Sue growled, her fist clenching around the phone so tight she was afraid it would break. How had they let you get so hurt? How had they not known that they were teaching a beginner above a fucking reef?
“Wasn’t their fault, though I could take the wave,” You grumbled, your voice muffled by your stuffed animal.
“They should have been watching you better,” Sue said sternly, shooting a look your way, making it clear that she thought that both you and them were at fault for this incident. They would be having another talk with you about safety, and she was sure they were each getting an earful from their respective significant others.
“We’re never letting you go with them alone again,” Megan nodded. There had been too many accidents for them to be considered good babysitters. Too many problems and incidents of you getting hurt.
“You can’t keep me locked up in my room all day,” You rolled your eyes.
“Wanna bet,” Sue raised her eyebrows at you. Perhaps that was a better solution. At least you couldn’t almost drowned if you were stuck in your room, though knowing you, you’d find an inventive way to “have fun” as you put it.
“You guys are overprotective,” You huffed, sticking your tongue out at the women before retreating behind Roary’s protective form. He would keep you safe from their wrath.
“Well you almost drowned to death today, I think we’re entitled,” Sue said sternly, and you sighed. You were 10, not 2.
“And we only do it because we love you,” Megan pulled you closer to her, and you melted into her embrace. You supposed that they had a good reason to be a little protective right now. You guessed you could give in at least until the scratches on your back healed.
“I love you too,”

⌠ MADISON BAILEY, 19, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ⌡ welcome back to gallagher academy, CHRISTINA ' CHRIS ' ANDERSON! according to their records, they’re a FIRST year, specializing in MACGYVER SURVIVAL SKILLS & NAVIGATION + PROTECTION & ENFORCEMENT; and they DID NOT go to a spy prep high school. when i see them walking around in the halls, i usually see a flash of ( speckles of dried paint on fingers, cruising round on a longboard, joints tucked behind ears wrapped in colourful papers ). when it’s the ( sagittarius )’s birthday on 12/27/2001, they always request their PHO from the school’s chefs. looks like they’re well on their way to graduation. ⌿ mochi, 24, she/her, gmt ⍀
@gallagherintro
hi uwu, here is a new baby who is not very baby but still a lil baby
. . . it got quite long so tldr; she’s a stubborn art hoe from california who’s dad died so she’s come to gallagher bc her mom is a professor in the p+e major <3
parallels
wyldstyle  — the lego movie: 85%
mulan — mulan: 84%
nymphadora tonks — harry potter: 83%
princess fiona — shrek: 83%
robin buckley — stranger things: 82%
here is a full list
HISTORY
potential triggers — car accident, parental death, divorce
so she’s grown up on on the west coast p much ??? her whole life. her mom worked as a bodyguard for sum famous peeps, dad was doctor but occasionally also a medic in the field — they didn’t always see eye to eye and divorced when chris was around nine. it was mostly to do with chris’ future like whether she’d go to spy prep school and follow in their footsteps and her dad didn’t want that for her so they disagreed, and she lived with him instead, living a more or less normal life. her mom then moved away when the opportunity to become a professor at gallagher presented itself, so they’ve really not been close at all since then
lived fairly comfortably, either way her dad had money and her mom sent support too. her father definitely earns less from no longer being in the spy world but he vowed to leave that behind when he divorced his wife and other than a few people from his past popping up unannounced, he kept that vow. they moved around a couple times in order to keep chris safe, and especially when someone did find them ( even if it was friendly ) but mostly grew up in california, and a lot of it is to do with the fact chris loves it there so much
but chris knows about the spy world, what her mom does and the type of school she works at, but it never interested her enough to try and reach out or fight her dad on it as she enjoyed her life
she remembers her mom as someone stubborn, argumentative, volatile which is the opposite of her dad who was patient, loving and endearing — so it’s a no brainer for her, she loves her dad a lot and he gave up a lot for her while her mom gave chris up for that world, her job, etc aka nada
BUT her dad died in a car accident recently that she was also in but was only a bit beaten up at most ( has some cuts / new scars, learn more below ) leaving her mother to swiftly pick her up and enrol her into gallagher, more to keep an eye on her than anything.
her mom chose her majors and some of her classes for her, which chris is mad about, but mainly bc looking at what ones were offered she’d def pick macgyver anyway, and her mom argued p+e was a step into the physical and combat side of thing without being too heavy on it ( tho it’s the major she teaches so she’s biased and chris just thinks she wants to be closer ) but tbh ? chris just doesn’t want her mom to be right whatsoever or have the satisfaction of thinking she knows her daughter in anyway at all but she knows if she went undecided she’d probably pick those up again in her second year so she’s just ‘ going with it ‘ begrudgingly as if she has no choice
PERSONALITY
extremely stubborn, which she gets from her mom, would rather ruin her life than go back on something or admit she was wrong, if she apologises for something she'll find a way to do it where she's not actually ever saying the words ' im sorry ' or ' i was wrong ' and would rather start another argument than do that — but obviously she loves other people apologising to her
she is generally nice ??? i just think she can be irritated easy ?????? like a bit of a hot head tho she'd argue she's chill, she is mostly chill but likes to debate, be right, and can be very my way or the high way at times — i’ll figure her out more as i play her bc i can’t tell if she’s mean or not but i don’t think so, just a bit tougher than she needs to be
in my head she’s like a seb/luc hybrid so . . . take that as you will
doesn’t dislike gallagher ( mostly ) but thinks all the legacies — even tho she technically is one, she doesn’t identify as one — are entitled spoiled brats and should get their heads out of their ass, doesn't like that being a legacy is even a thing though a lot of it definitely comes from her bitter resentment towards her mom and how she'd have rather leave her and her dad than leave the spy life hbsjhbsjhb also i think bc of her mom she has level 5 clearance which . . . she’s not complaining about but definitely complaining that clearance levels are even a thing, she’s gonna contradict herself a lot, i feel it
MISC
i THINK she’s only arrived, like, at the start of spring semester tbh, she wasn’t here for fall so she is new new
halfway through her first year at stanford studying art alongside film and media as a minor before her mom brought her to gallagher — which she's kind of not happy about like she understands her dad didn't want it for her, she also wanted to just stay in california but the only family she has now is on her mom's side.
she's still enrolled at stanford, though dropped her minor, and is studying online for her major as she's made it clear to her mom she doesn't want to be a spy so she pulled a few strings with the stanford admission board to allow her studying to continue ( idek if this is allowed i'm just pretending her mom is powerful enough to do it ) — it was a big reason chris agreed to come to gallagher, not that she had much of a choice, bc she wants her ‘ normal ‘ life and her ‘ normal ‘ degree regardless of being at a spy school
only her mom calls her christina and she actually hates it so pls dont unless you are trying to get on her bad side — also she probs avoids her mom like the plague so don’t bring that up either
often covered in little cuts and bruises from her skating but she’s got two fresh / soon to be scars on the left side of her face on the top of her cheek bone and on her jaw from a shards of glass when she was in the car accident — she is the type to pick her scabs until they bleed again, too, so i picture her with loads of little scars especially on her hands, elbows and knees
she did learn self defense from her dad growing up and she has studied jiujitsu and akido since she was around thirteen, she also boxes but it's more casual like for stress and stuff rather than something she takes overly seriously
she likes surfing, diving, enjoys the kind of world that exists underwater where it's just peaceful and calm so she will be around the lake a lot / at the pool if you need to find her
she’s 5’3 and never wears heels
pansexual and while it might change i wanna say she's not overly sexual, like wouldn't have hookups for no reason ?? but potentially some one night stands or drunken mistakes or whatever. doesn't look down on sluts but i think she doesn't have the most confidence in that area, or in self esteem in general, so she'll ??? only really have a frequent thing if she feels Hella comfortable
the type to have crushes tho, but not act on them at all bc again self esteem issues
bit of a tomboy, skater, stoner — though she wouldn't identify as one — really loves movies and can be a proper filmophile, probably has more film soundtracks on her spotify unwrapped than she does actual artists and don't get her started on Women— in film bc she won't stop
very active, sporty, probs trying to parkour around campus
enjoys painting, sketching, simply creating things — often is filming, riding a longboard, working on some kind of little project she'll take too seriously but won't show people until it's perfect
is a little pretentious at times ??? doesn't necessarily mean to be but if it's a debate on a topic she's passionate about ( such as art, film, etc ) then she will try to ensure you know just how knowledgeable she is on it, she's not afraid to flex but she wouldn't outwardly flex for no reason if that makes sense
she also . . . feels p dumb at gallagher tbh, a lot of her strengths lie in her creativity and art and now she’s very ??? wtf am i doing ?? but she will continue to act like she knows !
can speak english, french, german and spanish all pretty fluently, italian well enough to get by, knows a bit of japanese bc she’s . . . a weeb sometimes but also bc of her martial arts
CONNECTIONS
FAMILY / CHILDHOOD FRIENDS ( SPY ) — so this would more than likely be before her parents divorce, but she’s not against keeping in contact a little if she liked you, it could have also been a family who reached out to her dad afterwards because while he’d move away / hide his location promptly after, he would still help them if they needed it ( 1 / ? )
FAMILY / CHILDHOOD FRIENDS ( NON SPY ) — same thing, but would have probably been after the divorce, just normal families that her and her dad knew, neighbours, work colleagues, school friends, would more than likely have also needed to be west coast sorta area but if your muse was there briefly, they could have kept in contact once they’d left ( 0 / ? )
LEGACIES — she potentially . . . won’t like you if you’re a legacy and you are egotistical / assholey even a tiny bit, bc that basically proves her argument that they’re ALL like that jshbjsbjs but i wud like her to have legacies that she . . . hates that she likes as well, i think she’ll realise p quickly most are fine lmao
ART HOES — whether they’re into painting as well and they do it together or they let her paint them !
SMOKE / SKATE BUDS — one or the other, both, whatever !!
A HOOK UP THAT’S EITHER ALREADY HAPPENED OR GOING TO — in my head she’s a bit ??? w sex tbh so maybe plot this out a bit more but can be a ?? positive relationship or a negative one idm
CRUSHES !!!!!!!!! — she’s not even been at the school long but im certain she probs has some already
i’m not good w wanted connections so pls just hmu if u have ideas and as usual like dis for plots / jus message me, i’ll be on discord !! if you don’t have/use discord just message me first on tumblr bc otherwise i wont realise jhbsjhbjhbsj

Never Ran Smooth (Part 7)
Hey everyone! Working really hard to try to update more! Let me know what you think! | Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five | Part Six |
__________________________________________________
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
JJ’s POV:
After hours of blaring music and yelling, my dad had finally passed out. This is why Savannah can never get involved with me. I would tear her down to my level. I would just ruin her life. I winced in pain as I brushed against the bruises my dad had given me and roughly packed a bag. I needed to get out of here. As I slipped past my dad on the couch, a wave of rage overcame me. I can’t do this anymore. He makes me miserable. He’s given me nothing. He’s the reason I’m worthless. I shook as I pulled out the gun and aimed right at his sleeping body. I felt tears well up in my eyes and moved away quickly, shoving the gun back into my bag. In the end, he was still my father.
When I got to John B’s there was someone already there. They watched the house from a car as we slipped into the Pogue and took off.
“First, I almost get strangled to death by Kooks,”I started. “and now I'm on the hook for 30 grand. We should just dip.”
“Okay, where do you wanna go? Hm?” John asked with a hint of annoyance.
“Yucatan,” I said, earning a laugh from the boy. “No, I'm dead serious right now. Surf all day, and then we can just live off lobsters we catch with our bare hands.”
“You just wanna leave 'cause you got your ass beat?” he asked, rolling his eyes. No. Maybe if I just left, Sav would be better off. Maybe if I left, my dad would get his shit together. Maybe if I left, everyone around me would get by a little easier. Not only that, maybe if we left I could save John B from becoming like the two guys who were fed to the sharks.
“You didn't see the photos,” I mumbled.
“Think about it. They're willing to kill for the gold,” John B paused. “then it's gotta be out there.”
“One hundred years, people have been tryin' to find this Royal Merchant,” I said raising my voice. “and no one succeeded. And you think you are gonna be the one that actually finds it? When will you get it in your thick skull? If you keep goin' down this road, you're gonna end up just like your dad!”
I felt him shove me. I saw the anger on his face. I watched as he began to struggle with his own thoughts and actions.
“I can't give up, JJ!” he screamed back at me. “The last time I saw that dude, we got in an argument, and then he took all of our rent money and dipped for this Royal Merchant. And then I told him he was a shit father. and you know how the rest of the story goes.”
“Bro, that wasn't your fault,” I said softly. I just wanted him to stop blaming himself for this.
“It doesn't matter whose fault it is, JJ!” he yelled. “Do you not understand that? I can't give up on the hunt, man. I don't care who's out there, who's gonna try to kill us. Do you understand that? I can’t just leave. I get you think you have nothing here JJ, but that isn’t true. What about Pope and Kie? What about Savannah?” I cringed when he said her name. I remember the look on her face when I told her we would never happen. She deserves more than me.
“What would Savannah do if you just left one day JJ?” he asked me. I avoided his gaze. I felt guilt well up in me as I imagined her looking for me. “When are you going to stop thinking you're bad for her and realize how good she is for you?”
His words burned me. They sat in the back of my mind for the rest of the day. I had made my decision to prevent her from being hurt by my lifestyle. Now night was upon us and the Midsummers event was in full force. I was dressed the nicest I’ve ever looked as we pulled the boat up to the dock of the hotel.
“Okay, look, I need you to get this to Sarah,” John told me.
“Ooh! Can I read it?” I asked, already sneaking a peak. “Hold up. Are you mackin' Sarah Cameron?”
“Would you shut up?” he asked, clearly embarrassed. This new information made my stomach churn. He was macking on a Kook and I couldn’t even accept the fact that I might like one.
In the end, I agreed to be his little messenger and sneak into Midsummers. I made it into the backyard and admired the decorations Sav had thought about. She really had a talent when it came to picking out things that sparkled. Then my eyes landed on her. She looked radiant and fresh like the decorations themselves. She was beautiful from head to toe and every single part of me wanted to go up to her and ask her to dance, but then my eyes found their ways to hers. There was her black eye. The one she had gotten while trying to protect me. The guilt began to overwhelm me. Where there was me, there was bruising and hurt, and she wasn’t an exception to that rule. I was a danger to her.
“Hey!” Pope yelled. Thank you for interrupting my thoughts.
“Dude, don't sneak up on me like that right now,” I said awkwardly as he embraced me. “Whoa. Unexpected PDA there, Dr. Spock.”
He looked so distressed, but it made me happy to know he was okay. “But, uh... hey, love you, too, man,” I said while placing a quick kiss on his cheek.
“Did Shoupe do that?” he asked, motioning to my face.
“Oh, this? No. This is-- It's my dad. You know? Has that right jab,” I said jokingly. I didn’t want him to worry. “Can really snap it off at times. It's nothin' that hasn't happened before.”
I explained that we were going to be rich. I explained that John had a plan. And most of all I explained to him that nothing that happened to me was his fault. I smiled as I left him to do his job and went back to the mission of finding Sarah Cameron. As I dodged my way through the crowds I found Sarah dancing with her little sister. I awkwardly slipped her the note and tried to get out of there as quickly as I could, but felt a hand grab mine. It was soft and warm and I knew exactly whose it was before turning around.
“Are you okay…?” her voice was shaky. Princess.
“I’m fine,” I said as I turned around. I heard her gasp and instantly her hand was on my face. I winced in pain and pushed her hand away. She muttered an apology, worry filling her eyes.
“Who did this to you?” she asked. I saw a single tear slip down her cheek. I wanted to reach forward and wipe it away, but at this moment she seemed a million miles away from me.
“Don’t worry about it,” I scoffed. She wasn’t going to let this go though. I opened my mouth to give her an explanation, but was interrupted by the last person I wanted to see.
“I'm wonderin' if you could get me a mai tai, my friend,” Rafe’s voice rang out.
“Grow up Rafe,” Sav said, defending me no matter what.
“You guys look spiffy,” I joked. “You know, uh, I got a couple of orders ahead of you, so why don't you guys just go ahead and wait by the bar?”
“No, we're going…” Rafe started. “help yourselves to hors d'oeuvres.”
Then a guy I didn’t know spoke up. I had seen him around a few times, but never once has he picked a fight with me.
“Guys, JJ's gonna serve us some hors d'oeuvres,” he smirked, but not at me. He was looking past me, right at Savannah. I saw the anger on her face.
“That’s enough Jasper,” she said, her hands balled into fists. “Leave him alone.”
“I'll be right back, okay?” I said. I was going to do anything to get Sav out of this situation before it got ugly. But then they followed me. I ran through the hotel and into the locker room. I sighed and tried to find a place to hide, but there was nowhere to run. Next thing I know, I’m being escorted out by security. At this point I might as well make a scene.
“It's okay, everybody! Do not panic. Leave it to the men and women in uniform,” I yelled as I looked up. My eyes met Savannah’s dad’s who looked disgusted by my actions. It was too late to go back now though. “Let's hear it for them. Rose! You look like Lady Liberty.”
My eyes once again fell on Savannah, who laughed at my joke. She looked like she was building up courage for something. I hated when I was right.
“Let go of him!” she yelled. I watched as she ran up to where I was. “You can't boot him! I invited him here. I'm a member of this club.”
“Savannah!” her dad yelled and marched down to where she was. Kie and Pope followed shortly after. When her dad finally made it to her, he grabbed her arm roughly. She pushed him away and then a sound echoed through the silence. If this wasn’t a scene before, it certainly was now. Nicolas Stryker had just struck his daughter in the middle of Midsummers. “You will not embarrass this family anymore.”
I knelt down beside her, expecting her to be in full tears like at the movies. Yet, there were no tears. No emotion was in her eyes as my fingers guided along her cheek. She pushed my hand away and got up, looking at Kie, Pope and I.
“C’mon…” she said quietly. “You guys have somewhere to be right?”
I grabbed her wrist, making her come with us. The only thought going through my head was: I have to get her out of here. I have to make sure she’s okay.
“If you leave, don’t bother coming home,” he dad muttered after her, but she kept walking. I held her wrist tightly and just kept my face forward, not checking on her in the slightest. If I looked at her, I would be filled with rage at everyone. Is this how rich kids were treated too?
The rain was whipping through the air as we drove to the lighthouse. Kie was arguing back and forth with John B over the Sarah Cameron predicament, but Pope and I focused our attention on Sav. She sat silently, staring out the window even though we weren’t moving anymore. Her knees were hugged into her chest and there was no emotion on her face. I felt Pope nudge me and gesture towards her. I gave him a look as if saying no, but there was no arguing with him at this moment. Finally giving in, I went and sat next to her. I couldn’t bring myself to say anything though. She just sat there unfazed by me. I slowly reached up and moved a piece of hair from her face. God, she is so beautiful. Unable to make the words come out, I just pushed her head to lean on my shoulder. “You don’t need to force yourself,” she mumbled and leaned her head back up.
“I’m not,” I said and placed her head down once again. “I’m just trying to be a good friend.”
She kept her head there and closed her eyes, squeezing them tightly like she was going to cry. I felt her wrap her arms around my neck. Her hot breath against my neck made my heart pound.
“Just let me stay like this for a second,” she whispered, pain echoing inside her voice. She clung to me as if she needed me by her side. What she needed was love and if I gave her that, only bad things would follow. Instead of loving her, I reassured her everything was going to be alright, but even that must have been too close, because John B almost died less than an hour later.

Pain
This is a post I need to make for myself. If you would like to read, knock yourself out. It’s about my health and the pain I’ve been through in the past 4 years. What I’ve learn and how it’s changed me.
This story started around 3 1/2 to 4 years ago. While working long hours in a huge restaurant I was walking around 12 - 14 miles a day. I also have a huge obsession with working out and running is my most favorite thing in the world. It makes me feel free and like a kid again. But that is another huge conversation for another time. I developed tarsal tunnel syndrome a severe plantar fasciitis that had me crawling around the house. I had to stop running/working out which lead me to drug use. Through this pain I learn that life goes on no matter what. Bills don’t care about pain and majority of people really don’t care. My co-workers didn’t care, my boss didn’t care. This started my anger and bitterness.
Tumblr media
"Spend a lot of money on what separates you from the ground.” What I mean is this lead to me actually caring about what shoes/orthotics I wore. I began stretching and caring more about health. It was a long battle but I now have control of this pain.
Tumblr media
The next problem that has been affecting me still to this day is my teeth. My early twenties were fast times filled with drugs, sex, and excitement. Depression was underlying my decisions but it lead to sleepless nights with little to no care about my health. The aches and pain I had will never be forgotten. It took around $7,000 and a little over a year of constant treatment to be normal. I am now a regular dentist patient and I am no longer afraid of needles. But FUCK the drills. The sound alone just brings me anxiety and stress. I’ll live. This taught me that life is what you make it. You either run the day or the day runs you. It’s your choice to make things right and your choice if you wanna look at the negative or positive. This pain has left me with a weak smile and afraid to be myself.
Tumblr media
2020 was a very rough year for everyone and we all had our asses handed to us. I don’t wanna say I had it worse but I was dealt a really bad hand that I had to sit with. Long story short I was suffering from a groin hernia. NOTHING in this world is worse than your manhood in pain. A deep weird awkward pain that makes you cry out to god. A pain that makes you feel like a puny human. Also with a global pandemic it was actually impossible to schedule surgery right away. I had to live with the pain, no other choice.
I finally got this surgically corrected and the post operative period was rough. Doing it all alone made me strong but it has left me bitter towards everyone. It has left me with this feeling of needing to be independent. I still crave being by someone's side but now that I'm all healed and once again working out I’m happy to say I had this pain and held on to it for many weeks. It made me strong, passively. This taught me that your mind is the strongest thing we posses as humans. If you can think it and put it out in the world it can become true. Some days I was able to be friends with the pain. I was able to smile and be myself. Most days I hated the world but I still smiled.
Tumblr media
At the end of recovering from surgery I caught that damn deadly virus that has been surfing the globe. Covid is no joke, that’s all I'm gonna say. I don’t wanna get political. That sickness was hands down the scariest and hardest thing I’ve ever been through. There was actually a moment where I was asking god just to take me cause the pain was too much. I couldn’t walk nor stand up for more than a few minutes without collapsing to the floor. I couldn't even keep my eyes open and to enjoy my favorite shows/movie. I had every symptom in the book to the max. Long story short I recovered but with scars. This taught me that we need to appreciate what we have no matter how big or small it is. Also it taught me that success is what you make it. If you base it on cars/money/women you are setting yourself up for unhappiness. Some can make it work but most can’t and I learn that the hard way.
Tumblr media
I have lingering effects still to this day. I’ll admit they are now miniscule but the previous 3 months have not been fun. I can’t breathe correctly. It feels like I am always being choked. I have aches in my neck and shoulders constantly. Also covid killed a tooth on the right lower side, the reason why I was in sooo much pain. This has taught me that we have one life to live and might as well live it the way we want it. Fuck the money and fuck what others think. We each have our own battles. I also learn that the answers and help we seek are inside us. Humans naturally look out never in and that is our downfall.
Tumblr media
Through all this hardship and pain it has left me mad at the world and honestly hatred towards many innocent people. The anger comes from people not realizing the things that I have learn. The world is on fire and everyone is so caught up with becoming famous or making a load of cash. We need to help each other and be excellent with one another.
Now that most of my pain is almost gone after the many months of procedures and recovery I learn that most of live like kings and queens. Even if you are in the lowest tax bracket or on government help you still have a life that was better than the majority of history. Yet people scroll and scroll on the dumbass apps and create goals that are not good for themselves and the world.
Tumblr media
With another procedure in the immediate future and my 30th birthday coming up in a few months I now developed this will to stay alive and be the best I can be. I know I am gonna make people mad but I hope I can reach them and show them that happiness is not found with swiping right. Happiness is not found in another beer or another joint. I still have some work to do on my own and I'm running towards the pain, discomfort, and hardship. It’s where we grow and come out better.
Tumblr media
I have learned to love myself and to be with myself.
I’m on the pursuit of happiness.

Part 1 — Part 2 — Part 3 — Part 4 — Part 5 — Part 6 — Part 7
Tumblr media
It's been a couple of days and Sofía finally had the time to Skype with Mandy.
“Works going great, today's been kind of long. Been interviewing a bunch of people to the assistant gig.” Sofía spoke to the computer resting on the middle of the bed, she was pointing it towards the mirror where Sofía was brushing her hair.
“That's awesome baby, don't work too hard though,” Mandy said eating an apple. “Where's Chris?”
“He had some meetings or something—” She shrugged looking back at Mandy who had her eyebrows up, lips puckering. she was waiting. “Okay, yes we did it, we had sex.”
She actually claps like a child. “I want details, bitch,” Mandy said and Sofía laugh
"I had never been fucked that deep on my life and I've been around the block,” Sofia said biting her lip. “And he's… dominant and tender. I don't know.” She waves a hand and shrugged.
“Jesus fucking Christ,” Mandy said putting a hand on her chest. “It's like me with Luke, no one can fuck me as he fucks me. I totally get it—so, you guys dating now?”
“What? no.” Sofía shakes her head.
“You haven't talked about it yet?”
“A little, the other day after you helped him ambush me on the bar. But I don't know, I like him that's for sure and he likes me.”
“Well, that's a start—finally, it was like a fucking pregnancy with you two.” She laughs.
“But we're not dating, just… fucking, he's still my friend.” she shrugged
“And Chris is okay with it?”
“Why not? we were speaking that he had sex with his ex and regretted the whole thing, but I don't know, I'm convenient for him"
“And he told you that?”
“No, But—
“I don't think Chris, Chris I know thinks you're convenient.”
“But I am, I'm cool with that—I don't want anything else,” Sofía said, sitting cross-legged in front of the computer, now paying attention to her friend.
“But why not? Sof. he's not some idiot you've founded on tinder—”
“I've used tinder once!”
“That leads to the most lengthy relationship you've had—on your life!” Mandy said.
Sofía rolled her eyes. “yeah and that worked out so good, Tiffany leave me with fucking PTSD—And your point?”
“Is that I think Chris is the one you've been waiting for your whole life.” She speaks and Sofía frown. “I remember what we talked about when we were younger before shit went down—you know.”
“Yeah, I remember… I was seventeen and still a virgin. I didn't even realize that I liked women too.”
“Yeah, that doesn't matter—I mean I'm glad that you're out and proud not the point—but Isn't Chris all that you ever wanted in someone?”
“Why are you making a telenovela out of this?, I already told you—”
“I think he's great for you and you deserve great—I mean there's no men worthy of you but Chris is pretty close,” Mandy spoke as she walked on the apartment back in Boston. “I'm not telling you now, but maybe there's a future with him.”
“I don't know—how're things back there?” Sofia had abruptly change subjects and Mandy stares her through the computer.
“It's good, I miss you—”
“I miss you too, baby.”
“—no one cooks for me here and I had been back at home and mom and dad also miss you. And Ian has a crush on you.”
“Your baby bro?, He's eighteen!.” She raised her eyebrows.
“He's been asking about you a lot. When's Sofi coming?, Sofi this and Sofi that.” Mandy laughed. “It's kind of endearing.”
“Yes, he's cute maybe in a few—
“Shut the fuck up, no way in fucking hell your—Ewww!” Mandy screamed and shake her head making Sofía laugh.
“I'm fucking with you—” She smiled and her phone started ringing, it was Chris. “And speaking of.” Sofia smile showing her the phone.
“Oh, don't let me get in the way!” Mandy said and blow her a kiss and ended the call after saying goodbye.
“Hey!” She smiles letting herself fall on the bed.
“Hi baby, just gets home—I've been on the studio all day.” He said. He sounded tired, she could tell.
“You sound tired, have you eaten yet?”
“I am, dead tired.” He yawns over the phone.
“Not yet, I'm ordering something though—wanna come over? I might have a huge bag of weed.” He laughed.
“Hell yes.” She said laughing. “I'll bring some pizza, go take a shower and relax—I'll be there in a little bit,” Sofía said already getting out of bed.
“You're the best!, I'll leave the door unlocked, just get it.”
“Alright, see you on a bit.”
_____________
“Chris?” Sofia called, locking the door behind her as she walked to the empty-looking house. Dodger came running from the back to greet her. “Hey baby, where's daddy?” She asked him as he moves his tail all over. When she reached the living room he was sprawled on the couch, phone resting on his chest.
“Awh,” Sofia said putting the two pizzas on the coffee table and slide her backpack off and kneel beside him and kissed his beard. “Hey, sleepyhead.”
Chris's eyes fluffer open and his smile got to bashful that Sofia had to sigh deeply. He was so handsome, with those bright blue eyes.
“My sofi–” He spoke grabbing her from the waist and pulled her on top of him and slide his hand under her dress, sliding his hands up and down her ass.
“You tired, champ?”
“Not of this ass.” He nipped at her neck and then kissed her. “I'm hungry though, that pizza is getting me.” Chris swat at her ass and she laughs.
“Let's eat, uhm?”
Chris scooted her again and seat her beside him on the couch. They sat there as Sofia surf through Netflix trying to catch a movie.
“You do something tomorrow?” Chris asked taking another bite of his pizza.
“Nope, I mean nothing job-related.”
“Mm, I've got a birthday party. You interested?”
“Yes. free food, especially cake.” She quickly agreed, Chris snort. “who's the birthday?”
“A friend, you'll see.”
Sofía cranked her neck up from his shoulder and squinted his eyes at him. “Why you'll being all mysterious and shit?”
Chris laughed, taking a sip of his beer and shrugged.
“It's not Brad, isn't it?” She frowns.
“Why?”
“I don't like him very much.”
Chris frown, giving her one stare to elaborate on that, and Sofía sigh. “He cornered me on the kitchen and asked me if you and I were fucking, so he knows I'm off-limits. He asked me out and was kind of surprised when I said no.”
Chris pursed his lips and looked forward. “Fucking asshole. We're not really close, he's usually hanging with us, he's no longer welcome.”
Sofía bite her pizza and looked at him, not gonna lie she liked that… possessiveness on Chris even though she won't admit it. Leaving the half-eaten pizza there, she grabbed her beer and took a few gulps.
“You finish that?” She asked and Chris looked at her, throwing the pizza on the coffee table and grabbed the beer from her hand, and she giggles putting biting her nail.
“Sure as hell did.” He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in, straddle him. Chris looked down at her bare legs as he caresses them, up and down, and then put both of his hands on her ass and squeeze it. Camila looked down and grabbed the joint Chris had previously rolled and a lighter.
“Want to?” She said putting the joint between her lips and Chris hummed at him.
Sofia light it up, throwing the lighter back at the table and took a deep drag, hold it for a moment, and put the joint on Chris's mouth.
“Fuck—” She looked up, blowing the smoke. “So good.”
“Yeah,” He blew the smoke, hand gripping her jaw, his fingers playing with her bottom lip and she opened her mouth and he slipped two fingers inside, closing her lips around them she sucked, tongue dragging up the bottom. Chris slide then out and wrap his fingers around her neck and pulled her in for a heated kiss “You've got no idea what you do to me.”
“I do,” She smiles, lazily, and press herself more against his clothed dick. “Feels so good.”
“I do,” She smiles, lazily, and press herself more against his clothed dick. “Feels so good.”
“Fuck, it does.” Chris closed his eyes, leaning his head against her chest as she started to move her hips, oh so slowly. Grabbing the joint from his fingers, she gave it another go, already feeling light and dazed.
“You're so fucking… cute,” She bit her lips while smiling cupping Chris's face. “Your eyes are so beautiful and blue and your lashes—I want them.”
Chris blushed and Sofía squeezes his face planting kisses on his forehead, his nose, and their lips.
“–Then,” She said. Putting the joint between her lips and grabbed the end of his shirt and took it off, revealing his toned body. “That. all of it—fuck. me.”
“I'm trying—” Chris chuckle, now he gave it the final drag and leave the joint on the ashtray on the table. Grabbing Sofia’s face, she opened her mouth and shotgun the smoke into her mouth.
“I'm so high, that's some good shit right there.” She hides her face on the creak of his neck and laughs, making him laugh.
“It is,” He hummed, closing his eyes as he concentrates on the butterfly kisses on his neck, she suddenly wrapped her arms around here and they just stayed there. Chris's hand kept caressing her back.
“Sofi?” He said, trying to look at her face but her soft breathing, arms going limp. Chris chuckle as he stands up, she still on his arms and carried her to the bed and tuck her in.
“Chris?” She said, barely audible as she hugged her own pillow.
“Yes? baby.” He said. Taking off his shirt and sat down on the bed to take off his shoes.
“You're my best friend, I love you.” She expressed, Chris craned his neck to see her. Eyes still closed, mouth slightly open.
“I love you too, Sof.”
“Cool.” She hummed. “I love Mandy more, she first.”
Chris let out a heartfelt laugh and slide in bed with her and scoot her to sleep on his chest and she accommodated quickly.
“Sorry about your boner.” She slurred, smiling a bit when Chris laughed again. “The fuck I've smoke?”
“It's a strand I use to relax, I've used it for a while now.”
“Relax me the fuck right, I can't open my eyes.” She gulped. “Imma drools on you, so you know.”
He laughs. “Droll me, I'll take it.”

Unspoken Dreams
Alex and Kelly have been together for a while. They talked about their future together, both wanting to get married and have kids.
This weekend Kelly was going to propose to Alex. They had this trip planned for a while. A trip just the two of them out of the city. Neither one having to worry or stress about work.
The penthouse they rented was on the beach with a perfect view. Kelly had recently found out a little bit of a secret ofAlex from Kara. Alex loved sunsets and sunrises. Kara told Kelly how when they were younger Alex said.
“Watching a sunset or sunrise with the right person would be the perfect beginning or ending to a day.” After that conversation Kelly knew that’s how she was going to propose to the love of her life.
The couple had finally settled into the penthouse both exhausted from their hectic week. They decided their first night they would just stay in ,go for a swim and get to bed early.
They laid on the couch to watch a movie and that’s when Kelly had a thought. Thankfully Alex had fallen asleep first so Kelly texted Kara to bounce ideas off of. To say Kara was excited was an understatement.
Kelly was thankful that Kara was willing to help out. There was no way she would of been able to get everything together in under 24hrs. Especially with their adventure tomorrow. Once Kelly had finished texting Kara she just looked at the women who feel asleep laying her head on her lap. She could not help the smile that instantly took over her face.
The next morning they both enjoyed not having to wake up early for work. Alex spoke her voice raspy from just waking up. “I could get used to this. Waking up with you here. No reason to rush around, no stress or work.Just you me and that beautiful view.” Alex kisses the top of Kelly’s head.
Kelly looks up “Ditto.” is all she says with a big smirk. Silently freaking out because this is the day this women will hopefully become her fiancé. Alex just smiles back at Kelly’s response. Ever since their first kiss that word has been their little thing.
Their day was filled with new adventures. First thing was a private surfing lesson. Kelly picked it up quicker while Alex had a harder time. Kelly sat there watching Alex try and stand up time and time again. Kelly melted when she saw Alex’s face once she finally stood on the board and caught a wave.
That feeling was amplified when Alex paddled over to her so excited she accidentally knocked Kelly off the board. Neither could stop laughing until Kelly pulled Alex in to a kiss. Once they pulled apart Alex said.
“That’s what I swam over here to do. I didn’t want to knock you off I just wanted a kiss!” Both women laughed. After thanking their instructor they headed back to their place to clean up before going out to sightsee.
While Alex was showering Kelly was able to call Kara to finalize the last details. The perks of having Kara help is that she’s probably the only person who knows Alex the best. She can help put together all of Kelly’s ideas.Kelly trusted Kara and knew this evening would be extremely memorable.
Kelly was sitting there thinking about how she got a second chance at love when Alex walked out. She couldn’t take her eyes off of Alex. Alex walked over to Kelly which made her refocus. “Hi there. You ready to go.” Alex smirked while holding her hand out to Kelly.
It took Kelly a minute to form a sentence. “Umm yea. I- I am.” It took a minute for her to get her thoughts back on track. She looked at Alex who was shyly standing there with a smile. “Sorry you just look...Wow.” She leans in giving her a kiss.
When the kiss ends Alex’s leans away with a sly smirk. Leans back slightly gives Kelly a little peck and whispers “Ditto.” Alex turns and walks away satisfied at a stunned Kelly. Alex walks over to leave the bedroom when she calls over her shoulder laughing. “Come on we don’t want to be late.”
Durning dinner Kelly is a ball of emotions. She’s trying to focus on dinner but her mind is going ahead to tonight. Wondering if Kara is setting it all up, how it looks. Alex notices Kelly seems a little worried. She didn’t want to ask but she does.
“Babe you okay? You seem anxious.” Alex reaches over and holds Kelly’s hand. She instantly feels her relax. Kelly melts yes she tries to hide her feeling but her love always knows. It’s not a lie when Kelly says she’s fine. She’s fine but also very anxious.
Their dinner goes smoothly and the food was delicious. While Alex goes to freshen up in the bathroom Kelly uses this opportunity to call Kara one final
time. Their call is short she’s reassured everything is perfect and there is also something special for her.Kelly checked her phone and sunset was in about 45 minutes. Giving her the perfect amount of time to walk back to the penthouse and propose as the sunsets.
On their walk back it is a comfortable silence. While Kelly is freaking out Alex is oblivious to what is going to happen in the next half hour. Once they are off the elevator and heading to their door Kelly abruptly stops startling Alex.
“So I have something special set up inside. Before we go in can you put this on.” Kelly carefully pulls an eye mask out from her clutch holding it out. Alex is confused but slowly takes the mask. Kelly laughs “It’s okay nothing is going to jump out or scare you. Trust me?” Kelly hold her hand palm side up. “Always.” Alex puts the mask on and takes Kelly’s hand.
Kelly opens the door and the place is dark except from the lights on the balcony. Kelly slips out of her shoes instructing Alex to do the same. As quietly as she can she opens the draw that’s near the door that has the box with the ring.
Walking to the balcony Kelly gasps. This is better than she could ever dream of. The floor leading outside was covered with rose petals. String light hung all around hanging from the ceiling. Candle were lit on the little tables and a heart shaped on the floor. There was a note for Kelly from Kara that read.
“Say the words earth, wind, and fire kinda loudly after you get engaged. It’s part of my gift to you both.” Kelly was a little bit confused but smiled. She hoped she knew because there was one thing she forgot to set up. Photos to be taken of tonight. She would always remember but she wanted to be able to physically be able to look back.
Kelly carefully walked her and Alex into the candle lit heart shape on the floor. “Okay we stopped so can I take off the eye mask now? Alex asked Kelly knew how impatient she could get. Kelly laughed “Yes but please please keep your eyes closed when you do Ok?” Kelly asked. Alex nodded Kelly looked over to her right and the sun was even with the horizon.
Kelly took a deep breath and told Alex to open her eyes. Alex gasped loudly looking directly at Kelly. After a few second she looked to her left and saw the sunset then turned directly back to Kelly with so much love. Kelly placed the ring box right next to her so she could hold Alex’s hands.
“When we first met we both were at a crossroad in our life’s. As the days went on we developed a friendship. You were there for me at a time nobody else could even understand. Our respect and understanding of each other was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Especially for two people who met only weeks ago.” Kelly just smiled and wiped a tear that fell onto Alex’s cheek.
“When you said that you and I were alike in the way we care more about others than ourselves. That was the moment my brain caught up with my heart in that I really freaking like-like you.” They both laughed thinking about how Alex had said that to Kelly early in their relationship.
“You trusted me enough to go on that trip with you. You trusted me enough to be there for and to support you. On one of your toughest days when you could of shut me out you didn’t. The strength you exuded in that emotional time was awe inspiring. I was moved by your resilience.” Kelly looked down at their hands and squeezed them before continuing.
“That night while we were walking to J’onn’s place I was so nervous. I felt a shift in our friendship. I was afraid my feelings were one sided but I kept them in long enough. Boy am I so glad that I finally told you. When we first kissed it solidified my thoughts of I knew you were my last first kiss. From that moment on I’ve been yours. I wanna be with you today tomorrow and forever.”
“I want to do everything with you. The wedding, the house, the animals. I want to watch our kids grow up. I want to watch their school performances together while we cry. I want to see them get a black belt in karate.” Kelly reaches down and picks up the box.
“So right here right now. In front of the beautiful view of the sunset. I want to ask my beautiful girlfriend to be my wife.” Kelly gets down on one knee opens the box and asks “ Alexandra Danvers will you continue to make me the happiest person in this universe and Marry Me?” Alex is crying she can’t get any words out so she just nods her head yes furiously. She pulls Kelly up holds her face and she kisses her.
Every emotion Alex was feeling that she couldn’t verbally express she was trying to convey into the kiss. She pulls back. “Yes-yes I will marry you.” Kelly places the ring on Alex’s finger gives her hand a kiss then gives her fiancé another kiss. They stand there for a few minutes either wiping each other’s tears or giving each other a kiss before Kelly speaks up she’s just holding Alex from behind looking out at the sun finally about to disappear.
“We’re you surprised? Kelly tilts her head to see Alex looking out ahead.
At first Alex just nods. Then asks. “How did you know? Or did you not know? That this that just happened being proposed to during a sunset was like an unspoken dream.” Alex turned around in Kelly’s arms smiling.
“I didn’t know at first that this was something you had dreamt of. I didn’t even know how much you really loved sunsets and sunrises. Until I had a talk with someone who knows and loves you very much.” Kelly and Alex both smile. Alex knowing instantly it was her sister.
“At game night like a few weeks back Kara and I were talking about the view from up high.”Alex smiled and nodded knowing exactly what she meant. “She told me what you said when you were younger about how sunsets and sunrises with the right person would be the perfect beginning or ending of a day. So when I realized we had a view of the ocean this was the week I would propose.” Kelly moved a piece of hair back behind Alex’s ear.
“I love you so much. Sometimes it hurts with how much love I have for you. I don’t fully have enough words to process everything but I do know that I can’t wait to end every night with you and start every morning with you.” Alex is genuinely baffled.
“How did you manage to do all of this. It wasn’t like this when we left for dinner. You and I have been together all night?” Alex asked.
“Well there is only one person that I could trust to make this special for you. Even if I wasn’t here to help set up. This one person also happens to have superpowers, which was a life savor.” Kelly smiles at Alex’s reaction knowing her sister helped and knew.
“Kara, she helped you set this up?” Alex more stated it than asked. Kelly only nodded.
“She also left me this note.” Kelly hands it to Alex. “I’m afraid to say the words who knows what kind of gift she would give.” Alex said knowing her sister anything could happen. The newly engaged couple say the words. They wait a few before there is a knock at the main door and Kara comes in.
Kara meets the couple at the balcony door she is crying which makes Alex cry. Alex goes over to Kara and gives her a tight and long hug. Kara looks over Alex’s shoulder smiling at Kelly . Kelly whispers knowing Kara could hear “Thank you so much for all of this.” Kara let’s go of Alex and does a little dance going to give Kelly a hug.
Once they end the hug Kara fills the couple in on her gift. “So there was one thing we didn’t talk about when we were setting this up. I wanted to be able to capture that moment for you. So I had set up a camera over there. It snapped a photo every 5 seconds. That way you would have pictures to always look back on.” Kara is engulfed in a hug by Kelly.
“Oh thank god. It dawned on me when I was reading the note you left that it was the one thing I forgot.Thank you.” Kelly laughed extremely relieved. ”No problem. I am so happy for you both. I love you both so much. I am grateful that you included me in helping you surprise my sister.” Kara spoke softly. “I will let you two enjoy the rest of your weekend away. I’ll see you both when you get back to the city.” Kara gives one last hug to the couple.
Kelly and Alex stand there just talking in the night sky. Both just embracing everything that happened. “How about we go inside and change. Then we can set up a bed out here. So we end our day together already seeing a sunset. That way we can watch the sunrise together starting a brand new day as fiancés.” Kelly suggests already knowing Alex’s response.“How do you always know the right things to say?” Alex asks.
Kelly just smiles taking Alex’s hand walking inside. She couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her life with Alex. One this she did know is that asking Alex to marry her was the most meaningful thing she’s ever done in her life. She’s spend everyday loving Alex and hopefully continue to surprise her.
