In Star Trek Voyager there's this wacky terrible episode called Threshold where the pilot and the captain steal a shuttle and fly so incredibly fast that they de-evolve into salamanders, mate, and have salamander babies. I very much do not like this episode: I pretend it does not exist, and I always skip it when I re-watch through the series. So imagine my surprise when I go into the main tag for Star Trek Voyager for the first time and Threshold and salamander babies are literally everywhere. Apparently that episode is so infamously awful and bizarre that the day it aired (Jan 29) is now a holiday in the Star Trek fandom called Threshold Day.
