introduction!

hello!! i’ve gotten some new followers since i returned to tumblr. i want to give a little introduction of myself and my critters

Foreteller’s Vulpine Sunshine “Ava” - born 8/16/2017 (est), she was a rescue adopted by me when she was a year old. she has been embarked and is, in order, siberian husky, australian cattle dog, alaskan malamute, australian shepherd, and border collie. wondermutt. we used to do some agility, but Ava was diagnosed with degenerative lumbosacral stenosis in June of 2021 and had a corrective surgery in August of 2021. she has recovered well and is very comfortable and happy, but she will never return to sports per doctor’s orders. she loves training, hiking, and her people.

Graves Farm’s Botanical Animal “Lichen” - born 6/27/2022. she is a hungarian mudi who will come home with me late August. obviously she is still a babypuppy but i hope to do some agility, herding, showing, and whatever other sports she likes when she gets older. i will probably be documenting a lot of her growth and puppy training here under her tag, #lichen.

nothin’ like spending a weekend in quasi-quarantine. (husband was sick with a fever- but just a stomach bug, confirmed COVID negative.)

still hoping things will get back to normal here eventually. not this month, though- two VIP visits incoming in the span of two weeks. in the middle of a pandemic. as one does.

let’s just hope they’re not taking lessons from POTUS. I have zero qualms about duct-taping masks to faces if I have to.
