#over three weeks now since hes gone#sometimes ill hear a noise and think. ah well there he is. ofc hed be back he wouldnt just leave me like that#like a specific way the wood would creek when hed jump up to his favourite sleeping place. the way his paws sounded against the glass door#the floor when he made his lil tap tap tap walk across the hall.#still haven't put away his boxies or his lil things or his bowls.#i still talk to him like hes lying just out of eyesight in his favourite boxie#we always did my puzzles together (i did the puzzle and he ruined it) and we just started one a few days before he. well.#i miss him all the time everywhere#cant stop crying. but like the curling up on the floor weeping type.#its like missing a limb or part of ur soul lol#collecting his fur like its treasure but then the realisation comes that thats it. thats all ill ever have of him now.#for the rest of my life. just this#and then we're back on the floor weeping lol#but i bought a locket to put some of it in so hes always with me still.#anyway. can you all wish for me to find the perfect coffee table this week... so tired of being coffee tableless but i have just become so picky now that i have almost every other piece of living furniture i need
#cpost#it needs a lower level so i can rest my feet. it needs some sort of storage space whether just the lower level or a drawer or chest top#if its wood it needs a deeper reddish stain#ideally it will have a glass top or something so i dont need to worry about trivots and coasters too much. not necessary tho#if it has a sort of nautical or pirate vibe then thats great#like lobster trap tables and ship hatch door tables and steamer trunk chests or compass rose inlay wood table#are all circling around that vibe but all that i've seen have#either no storage or sturdy foot resting place#also i like a lot of pretty and unique things too but they need to not super clash with my dark blue or striped red couches#and most of all it needs to be less than like . $80 so probably on my local facebook marketplace or craigslist

not to be a country bumpkin but the most evil thing about my aunt and uncle's house is that there's no wood stove or fireplace so if the power goes out when it's cold you just???? suffer??????
#they're not like in the city there is just Farms around us but there's no wood stove. wretched#not natural to have a house without an electricity free means of heating#another evil thing is how few of the windows open for airing out the house after hot days#and there's no screen in the sliding glass door so you can be too hot or you can let all of the bugs inside#which is to say it's bad at passive cooling too#babbles
