DCRC Week #01

Hello DCRC! I know everyone is technically on week 14 now, so I hope you don't mind a late entry. I may or may not have gained a new hyperfixation lately.

With that said, let's get into the very first issue!

These guys really love their beak-shaped architecture huh. Do you think they find earthlings slightly more superior to Xerbians because at least some of them have beaks? Imagine if we put human mouths on every vehicle and building we created. Actually, don't imagine that, I just tried it and I hate it. Let's never do that ever.

jhkj he thinks he's so cool. Are you going for brooding and mysterious or are you just cold up there? It looks like he's wearing a blankie.

You know, having read a few issues ahead it actually surprises me how little we see of coolflames in the next issues. Sure, they're brought up but 90% of the time when PK is fighting anyone it's always just Evronian warriors. You'd think they'd throw in at least a couple of coolflames to boost their numbers, if nothing else.

They've got some pretty neat powers too. Or is that just whatever species these guys used to be? Are these guys not originally from earth? I thought they'd started coolflaming some Duckburg residents already, but maybe not?

He really just went home with a "huh. That was weird. Oh well." after all that.

So we're just gonna throw a tarp over those and call it a day then? Extreme nonchalance runs in the family apparently.

I love how much they're immediately trusting each other and working together. Uno lets Donald run off with Ducklair's tech even though he's never heard of him until today. He even goes out of his way to make him breakfast! And Donald telling him about his nephews right away. I'm sure Uno could have found out about them on his own if he really wanted to, but the fact that Donald trusts him with his identity right away says a lot.

Also those tiny PK nephews are adorable. Get them their own little outfits STAT. At least for Halloween or something!

Look at him go!! I'm so proud of him, he's doing so well. Plus Uno in the background hitting that guy over the head with his little statue, I see you.

And that's our first issue! Really fun setup, we got to meet our main cast of characters, and square Lyla will not haunt me again after this issue so all's well that ends well. It's fun looking back and seeing PK still finding his footing with both his new friend, his new gear and his new enemies, especially when compared to later issues when he's gotten much more used to all three.

Summary:

Time Difference is going to be a series of fanfic(s) about (Rise) Leonardo Hamato / (UY) Miyamoto Usagi telling the story in two separate lines; Present, Future and a little twist. Present is more of a love story with a lot of fluff and a bit of angst. While Future is a more bittersweet love story with no emotional maturity to be reasonable and open with your feelings (?) In total the saga is going to have 3 fanfic(s) + extras and each fic is going to have a different content and is not going to be for everyone. I really like leosagi in the Miyamoto / Leonardo way and I will try to make the characters less ooc possible taking in consideration than this is a Rise oriented adaptation. I'm reading Usagi Yojimbo, theres changes in the canon timeline and basically de-age Usagi in order to make him more appropriate but, I make him live his early history at the age of 15 - 16 and in the present timeline he is 17 years old + he is a teen dad (and he does not know-) (he have his affair with Mariko post- adachihara btw) I really like how Usagi is in the comics and is gonna keep a lot of that. All TW and Ratings will be put in the respective fic but as a general recommendation please be at least 16 before reading the SWF fic and only +18 for anything else. This also will be in Spanish and English :D

hello and how are you?

We are here to answer the call of the tag games! And maybe finally empty out our hoard a little! ( ◞･౪･)

Three fun facts about me:

We are a System that holds all of our alters within our Works! You may have even seen a few names and thoughts throughout the Works of our Storyverse; we are all living within both the Realities and our Fantasies! :D

We are left-handed, and yes, we did eat our twin within the womb and yes, she did Uno Reverse us and split herself into many souls so that we could never be rid of her. she also gave us a lazy eye.

We collect many things, included but not limited to: clocks, glassware, marbles, plants, dead men's chests, notebooks.

Favourite season:

Our favorite season has to be split among us. It has to be either Sprint - the Life, the petals, the birth, the absolute refusal to not be taken by the Winter - or Harvest - the decay, the soft whispers, the promises of survival, the seeing of finality, the Trees, the colors - because gods are we a sucker for putting so many things into random parts of our lives.

Continent where I live:

Nothing to see hear, we are within North America, more than likely.

How I spend my time:

For the most part, we spend our times within the considerations of other people. We help around the Realities, making sure our Family is alright, or we ask around our friends and see if anything is up.

We also write - trying to get that daily habit solidly planted - and read - occasionally or obsessively - as well as game - we have unhealthy hour counts in Stardew Valley and we will not stop - whenever we can.

In between everything else, we love to penpal, garden, bullet journal, handcraft, stare into space. Just like to do things whenever they come across our Existences.

Are you published?

To be completely honest, there is probably at least one or two things out in the Worlds from our younger days. We know of at least two anthologies that have something of ours within them. But we do not have them or even know what has become of them.

In the basic, most comprehensible thought of the word, not at all, and honestly, we do not mind that Reality.

Introvert or Extrovert:

We probably fall in the spectrum of a ambivert, though our gauge is definitely hitting closer to the intro- end. We like company when we know of it; we enjoy people when we can hold our own terms and boundaries.

We grew with the crowds of our Realities, and we hate being alone when there is nothing else to it. But we definitely wither on either side of that coin of sociability.

Favourite Meal:

SOUP.

That is about it. We love all kinds of soup. Beef stew? Yes. Chicken Noodle Soup? Absolutely. Ramen? Please and thank you.

We grew up with Beef Stew and Menudo, we craved the comfort of just normal soups, and we found and fell in love with ramen and noodles. We can still predictably ask for soup if people want our opinion and we could probably go a whole month having soup of all sorts before we break out repeats.

We also can make soup as long as we have random ingredients. It's our special skill, if you will. ☆｡ﾟ+.(人-ω◕ฺ)ﾟ+.ﾟ

Durante una semana (26/10/23 - 01/11/23) Se desarrollará la segunda versión del ciclo "PATRIMONIO PERUANO RESTAURADO" que organiza la Filmoteca PUCP, que se exhiben en el Centro Cultural de la PUCP. En dicha muestra exhibiremos 9 largometrajes, 1 mediometraje y 1 cortometraje que han sido restaurados recientemente y que formaron parte de la sección "Espacio Filmoteca PUCP" que se realizó en el marco del 27 Festival de Cine de Lima el pasado mes de agosto.

Adicionalmente en coordinación con el Ministerio de Cultura del Perú exhibiremos el largometraje "La Muralla verde" (1970) de Armando Robles Godoy, como parte de las actividades que venimos realizando este año por su centenario. For one week (10/26/23 - 11/01/23) the second version of the "PERUVIAN HERITAGE RESTORED" cycle organized by the PUCP Film Library will take place, which will be exhibited at the PUCP Cultural Center. In this exhibition we will exhibit 9 feature films, 1 medium-length film and 1 short film that have been recently restored and that were part of the "Espacio Filmoteca PUCP" section that was held within the framework of the 27th Lima Film Festival last August.

Additionally, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of Peru, we will exhibit the feature film "La Muralla Verde" (1970) by Armando Robles Godoy, as part of the activities we have been carrying out this year for its centenary. Film restored by the PUCP Film Archive, with support from the CCPUCP and the Vice-Rectorate of Research of the PUCP; We will also exhibit posters of the work who is one of our most prominent film directors.
